Highly Recommend!

I can’t recommend Platinum Vibe enough! They were incredible and brought so much energy and fun to our November wedding. One guest even turned to me during their third song, completely stunned, realizing the first two songs weren’t a DJ mix but the band performing live—they sound that amazing! Their range of songs was impressive, and they nailed every performance. Angel was a delight to work with, making scheduling and finalizing details seamless. Erin, who we worked with a day of, was also great. Truly a fantastic experience.

The best day ever with the best band ever!

Platinum Band Music was absolutely amazing! The dance floor at our wedding was packed all night long. Everyone has not stopped talking about them! Angel was amazing and so responsive! We truly loved them and were so happy for them to be apart of our wedding day!

High energy band that MADE our day!

Platinum Groove absolutely crushed our wedding day, from the ceremony music, to cocktail hour, to reception! We went with the option to add a trio of horns for the reception band and had zero regrets. From playing our favorite songs, to engaging with the crowd, we were so glad we went with Platinum for our big day.

Awesome Experience

Setting up a piano player for our wedding was so easy and very affordable. Angelynn was super helpful and walked me through the process. Elisa played beautifully and was a wonderful touch to our ceremony.

Best day ever

Platinum band music was a absolute hit! They kept our guest on the dance floor all night long. Our contact Angel was a literal angel to work with. Communication was clear from the very start. We are so happy we decided to go with this band as they helped make our wedding day the best day of our life!!

Best Wedding Band!

This band is incredible! Don't hesitate to book them! They played at my sister wedding back in May 2014 and they were so good I knew I wanted them at my wedding October 2022. Extremely professional and easy to work with. Have a amazing range of talented artists and professionals to give you and your guests a a great time. I keep getting compliments on the band, don't think anyone had a less than great time! So much fun!

#1 Wedding Band for NY weddings!

Platinum Band is excellent -- four of my cousins used Platinum for their weddings, and they were an obvious choice for mine. The entire experience was user friendly from start to finish, and the band even learned several new songs for our wedding. The music and energy was great; the band kept the crowd on the dance floor all night! Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Perfection

Platinum was perfect. Great sound, perfect playlist and just all around fun. Every guest was on dance floor all night! Angle gave us just what we wanted... a dance party!

Amazing!

We’ve lost track of how many guests at our wedding (all of them really!) have told us The Platinum Band was not only the best band they’ve heard at a wedding, but the best band they’ve heard live overall. We agree! We’ve seen them perform two other times aside from our wedding, and they are simply amazing. Angelynn set up two calls with us prior to the event to make sure all our expectations for the night were met, and they certainly were-- above and beyond! The play list captured our style of music so well, with many songs sounding better than the original artists. We HIGHLY recommend The Platinum Band and truly cannot thank them enough!!!

Tremendous band a++++++

Angelynn will take the time to go over every request to make your wedding perfect. She is very
detail oriented and nothing will be missed. They will adapt the music to the age range of your guests and everyone will be dancing and having a great time due to amazing voices and clarity of the entire band. They will customize entry music for every member of your wedding party. You will get amazing customer service from beginning to end. They are very timely, everything was set up and tested well before our reception started. They also provided the speaker and microphone for the minister and did another great job with that. All of our guests said that the Platinum Band Music was the best group that they ever heard from all the venues that they ever attended. You will have no worries with this group - just tell them what you want and it will be done. A+++++++ all the way!!!

The band was incredible! We love jazz, sinatra, louis armstrong, and they played them all so incredibly. They without a doubt made our wedding amazing. If you are struggling to make the decision to go forward with the band, do not hesitate, these guys are absolutely worth it and we were blown away.

Stop trying to find the perfect music and BOOK THIS BAND!!

My wedding coordinator, EVJ Wedding Co strongly recommended I check out this band’s showcase and contact Angel when I described to her the kind of vibe I was going for. Boy, am I glad she did that. I truly believe this is the best band in the country. I can honestly say that the best wedding music I’ve ever heard was at my own wedding. They know every song, the covers are SPOT on, they MC to perfection, and I knew I just had nothing to worry about with them the whole time I was wedding planning (yes, even during COVID). Angel gave us ideas on how to maintain social distancing and safety measures while still having an epic and exciting event. Know that when you book this band you can be rest assured that they will fulfill your every need. These are excellent, talented professionals. We received so many compliments on our wedding music. So much so that a guest even wants to book them for her son’s wedding. I would recommend this band, ONLY this band, 10 out of 10 times. They are the best!!!!!!!! Incredible

My parents first saw Platinum Band music at a family friend’s wedding and raved about them to my sister who was planning her wedding at the time. After we saw their amazing performances at my sister’s wedding and then again my best friend’s wedding, when my fiancé and I got engaged we knew there was no better choice. They had everyone dancing all night and really made our night perfect. One thing that truly stands out and impressed me about seeing them at 3 different weddings is their range. My sister love country music, my best friend is more of a Springsteen girl, and I love pop and all of the above. They absolutely crushed it all! Hiring Platinum Band Music was the easiest and best choice of our wedding!

Best wedding band ever!

Highly highly recommend Platinum Band. We did the 10 piece band for our wedding @ the Ryland Inn. The band had our guests dancing ALL night long.

Angelynn was a pleasure to work with and really helpful in coordinating our whole ceremony music as we had two pieces for our ceremony music.

Best Wedding Band Ever

I knew the Platinum Band was good, but they still exceeded our high expectations. They offer a wide range of selections and played many of the songs we requested. Highlights were "Tiny Dancer," "Tenth Avenue Freezeout," "All Night Long," and "Africa." I also requested any songs from my favorite band, not quite sure what to expect—during the dinner service they played several songs from them, and some were even deep cuts. My friends and I were ecstatic.

Many people at our wedding acknowledged PBM was the best wedding band they had ever seen. At one point, my wife walked into the dance floor area to see our guests simply staring and cheering at the band in awe as if it were a real concert. In short, PBM was truly awesome and worth every penny.

Fun & professional with a super wide range!!

The Platinum Band MADE our wedding! We had so many people come up to us and tell us how incredible the band was throughout the night - and even weeks after the wedding, they are still raving about the music! Angelynn was super responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the process - they accommodated all of our requests for special songs (e.g., first dances, etc.) We went with the 10 piece option, and the sound quality was rich and incredible. The songs fit seamlessly together, the energy was high, and EVERYONE was out on the floor dancing! Thanks for an unforgettable night!

Perfect Wedding Reception!

Platinum Band Music is highly recommended. They first played at our 60th birthday party at a country club. They were excellent, so immediately after we became engaged, we hired them to play at our wedding reception. For our First Dance they played a semi-custom (very special) version of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are." All of our guests -- young & old -- loved their music and singing. They really helped to make our wedding cocktail hour and reception wonderful!

The Platinum Band provides a fabulous musical experience for your wedding

This review is a bit delayed as my daughter’s wedding was in December. I rarely write reviews, but I needed to praise Platinum Band Music. They were fabulous! A musician friend of ours recommended the band. Angel was extremely easy to work with, from inviting us to the showcase, reviewing the song list with the bride who was out of town, the setup, and requests. The band provided music all evening, including the cocktail hour and meal service. They played to the crowd and were extremely professional. You could see that they enjoyed performing as much as we enjoyed listening and dancing to the music. We had a 9 piece band on a smaller dance floor. They were able to accommodate the space to allow everyone to dance. And Everyone danced All night long. The horns added an extra layer to the music and the multiple lead singers expanded the repertoire. At times we had to check to see if the the original artists had come, as the band was that good! We had numerous compliments about the music from the guests who spanned all ages and were from all parts of the country. The investment in live music was well worth it. We all highly recommend The Platinum Band! They helped make the wedding a joyous event!

Full dance floor from start to finish!

We had one priority for our wedding day, which was to make sure that everyone was dancing the entire night. Thanks to Angel and the rest of the Platinum Band crew our wedding wishes came true!!! We found Platinum Band Music on Youtube and because we live in Ireland had to trust that they would sound as good in person as they did on their videos. I'm glad we trusted our gut because they blew their own youtube clips out of the water in person!! Angel and her band were amazing at reading the room, keeping the energy high and even played several Irish songs to make half of our guests who flew in from Ireland feel at home!! We wish we could relive this night over and over again and the dance party was a huge part of it. My mom commented the day after our wedding that the dance floor was so full that she spend most of her night dancing on the carpet outside the dance floor. Thank you, Angel and Platinum Band Music for providing us EXACTLY the wedding dance party that we were hoping for!!

Amazing Band

PBM played at our daughters wedding this past Friday night, May 31, at the Molly Pitcher in Red Bank. Simply put, the best wedding band ever. They were fantastic. Played everything the Bride and Groom wanted, and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. I'm not a big dancer, but at this affair, I wished the dance floor was bigger! People were dancing in the aisles. Played all night, non stop, softly through the meals. They are just terrific. Hire them, you will not be disappointed. Thank you PBM.

10 Stars for Platinum Band

After several recommendations from happy couples in my home town and promises that Platinum will have your guests dancing all night, we went them! We couldn’t have been happier that we did. We got married March 9th and the Ryland Inn and chose the ten person band and also had a pianist for our wedding ceremony and two people for our cocktail hour. Platinum BAND is awesome - the dance floor was packed the whole time and so many of our guests raves about them. Angelynn is SUPER easy to work with and super helpful in calming some nerves before the big day giving guidance around band placement, wedding ceremony & wedding ceremony music. It was clear she had done this a million times and brought that level of experience and professionalism but really ”got us” and listened and made sure everything was perfect and seamless!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Extremely easy to work with. Very responsive and the band/singers are just amazing!

The Platinum Band blew away my expectations. There presence from the moment you walked into the room set the stage for the night. Our first dance song as husband and wife was a Frank Sintra song and half our guests thought it was a recording the band and singer sounded that good. Every song they played was just spot on. I am going to be honest- I put my husband in charge of the planning for this. He said it was so easy. The team was extremely responsive and they made outlining song choices and providing input very streamlined and easy (I was involved with this part). I could not be more happy with the Platnium Band. I want to plan my next event just so we can have them play again!

Platinum Band made the party!

One of the top priorities for my wife and I was to have a band at our wedding reception and we could not be happier with our decision to go with Platinum Band Music! They were incredible! From Sinatra to Bruno Mars and everything in between, they nailed it. Dance floor was packed and we still have people telling us how great the band was. In addition to the great performance, they were extremely easy to work with. Angelynn was very responsive and professional which made the entire process stress free. I really can't say enough about this crew. If you're looking for a wedding band look no further.

Best Wedding Band Ever!

My one job for the wedding was picking the band and The Platinum band made me look like a genius. They played with no breaks and had everyone on the floor all night. I couldn't imagine a better wedding band. I got married on 9/15/18 and still whenever I run into any of our guests all they say is how good the band was, and they haven't danced that much in years. They are extremely easy to work with and know how to keep the party going.

My wife and I have attended more than 25 weddings in recent years. We both agree that the difference between a good wedding reception and a great one is the quality of the band. So when we started planning our daughter's wedding a year ago, we placed a high priority on choosing the right band. We chose Platinum Band Music for our daughter's wedding and PBM far exceeded our expectations. We had over 220 guests and at least 90% of them found their way to the dance floor. We asked PBM to play without any breaks once the toasts and dinner were completed and for well over 2 hours, the entire dance floor was jam packed. They played all the songs we requested and more, read the crowd perfectly, mixed in a few slower songs at the appropriate time, which kept the party going strong the entire evening. Angel was terrific to work with planning the playlist and being flexible about all our specific requests. Most of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved the band and that it was one of the best wedding celebrations they had ever attended. Choosing Platinum Band Music was the best wedding decision we made! Music was at the top of our list when it came to wedding vendors. We went to many showcases and even trekked into the city to listen to different bands but none compared to PBM. They are true musicians that play an amazing variety of songs. We booked the 9 piece Platinum Soul band and all of our guests still have not stopped talking about how great our band was. Some even asked for their contact info to have them at their weddings (which we are hoping for so we can hear them again :) Angel was super easy to work with throughout the whole process. It was especially nice to work directly with her, rather than a company- it made the planning much more personal. We HIGHLY recommend Platinum Band Music and can promise you your night will be as magical as ours was!

My husband and I are so happy we picked PBM to be our wedding band. Angel was great to work with. She is SOO responsive and was always able to answer all my questions. It was great getting to work directly with the band and not a manager or booking company. We did the 10 piece platinum soul band and let me tell you the rocked the night away! The band is so versatile and is really able to play ALL styles of music including current hits. Angel learned No Scrubs for Me (my favorite song) and one of the singers rapped the Jay-z part of Crazy in Love. It was GREAT. All of my guests told me they had to keep checking to see if the band was actually playing or if they switched to an ipod because they sounded exactly like the original. All of my guests were on the dance floor the whole night and we owe that all to PBM. If you want an amazing band that is easy to work with and will have your whole wedding dancing the night away, then book PBM!

Wow! Platinum Band is truly incredible and insanely talented! When we heard them perform for the first time, we instantly booked them! They completely blew us away! Our wedding was so much fun and we have Platinum Band to thank for that! They played a fun variety song and every single person at the wedding was dancing! They sounded just like the original artists, if not better! Our guests were so impressed, two of our couple friends have already booked them for their weddings! We also booked a guitarist for our ceremony who was amazing! Platinum Band made our wedding extra special. Leading up to the day, Angelynn was very responsive and helpful in planning the logistics of the reception and ceremony. She was a pleasure to work with. We used the 10 piece platinum soul band for our wedding this past May and we couldn't be happier with the amazing job they did!! At first my husband did not want to go with a band due to our budget, but after seeing them perform at a showcase we were sold immediately. The Platinum Band is reasonably priced, very professional, friendly, and upbeat. We absolutely would have paid more then what they charge, we think they are underpriced for the NJ/NY market. Their set lists ranges from 60's and 70's rock, to Motown, to newer hits. They will work with you to learn any song requests you have before the event. All three of our staged dances (father-daughter, first dance, and mother son dance) were not on their set list they gave us but they learned them and played them beautifully for the reception. Angel keeps the party going, perfectly spacing out the dances throughout the evening and keeping the reception on track. At one point there were so many people on the dance floor that our guests had to move some of the tables out of the way to fit everyone! They kept the party going all night. We will absolutely be using them and recommending them for every event where music is needed in the future.

Platinum Band literally made my wedding day SO PERFECT! I am absolutely blown away by their talent, professionalism and just amazingness! Blown away! Our friends and family were up and dancing the entire night!! We didn’t want it to end! We added an additional hour and it still didn’t feel like enough. Our guests kept chanting “one more song!” Highly recommend this group!! You won’t be disappointed!!

INCREDIBLE band. I was blown away by their sound. The musicians can play anything and the singers are unbelievably talented, each bringing something unique to the table. The dance floor at our wedding was rocking all night long with people of all ages. I have never been to a wedding where the band consistently had the crowd rocking the way it did on our wedding night. I cannot wait to experience them at another event in the future.

Wedding entertainment was HUGE to me when it came to planning our wedding. I felt it was one of the first things we needed to book and was really important that we got it right. We could not have made a better decision!! Platinum Band was incredible!! My husband's brother and several other close family friends, had them at their wedding and their guests were still talking about them years later. Every single person we spoke to after our wedding mentioned how incredible our band was. They had everyone on the dance floor and met the needs of all the ages. They did an excellent job feeling the crowd and the communication before the wedding was great. They were so personable. Definitely book them right away!

We just got married on 6/29/17 and used Platinum band. They were very professional with planning all the details and Angel called to go over the final details a week before the wedding. Everyone from our wedding keeps talking about how AMAZING our band was. Five people from the wedding have taken their information to use this band at their events. They had everyone up and dancing the ENTIRE wedding. Even during dinner time one singer would be singing and their voice is just amazing !! I definitely recommend this band !

Our daughter's wedding was an afternoon affair in an arboretum and our main concern was that guests would not loosen up to dance in the bright daylight. We could not have been more inaccurate! The band made our wedding memorable! The dance floor was full the entire time except when the main meal was served. All of the guests commented about the range of music they played. From Justin Timberlake to Sinatra to touching bride/groom and father/daughter acoustic numbers.... all were perfectly executed. My daughter forwarded them a rendition of her first dance song and they surpassed it! Angelynn is their manager and she is sweet, easy to communicate with and masters her profession. We highly recommend platinum and will use them again for our next daughter's wedding.

On a whim and sort of by accident I came across Platinum in a bridal magazine. I know what you’re going to say – you found your vendors in a bridal magazine?? Typically no, but after not finding what I was looking for in a band elsewhere, I decided to research them. After finding them on Youtube, my fiancé and I quickly said “these guys are amazing” as they were the perfect blend of our scattered and sometimes contradictory music tastes (any couple with an age gap will know what I mean!) They invited us to a showcase and we looked forward to finding out if their live sound was as good as their recorded sound. WAS IT EVER?! We sent in our deposit that same night. When it came to selecting our music (we used Platinum for our ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception), Angel was patient, helpful and knowledgable. There is literally no song they don’t know! They MADE our wedding and even though we chose 11 of them – you can genuinely tell how well run the band is, and how insanely talented each and every one of them are. They had our crowd (ages 20-85) up and dancing the entire night and while everyone compliments your wedding, the compliments on our band have literally not stopped coming in. We wish they played gigs so we can hear them more regularly but instead, we’ll just have to keep referring them so maybe a friend uses them in the future!! Thank you so much for making our wedding AMAZING. If you are even thinking of a DJ – don’t! If you are thinking of another band – don’t!! These guys can play ANYTHING variety-wise, decade wise, and they can jump around without making it seem like it. 10 stars!

If you love live music, love to dance and want to put total trust in your vendor, then choose Platinum Band Music for your wedding! Music is important to my new husband and I, we love all types, everything from the oldies to current top hits, and this band had everything we could have wanted. We initially thought we wouldn't be able to afford a band, but they were very reasonable for a 9 person band. We put trust in them from the start and they proved how great they are on the day of our wedding. They read the crowd and played a mix of styles the whole night. I took a step back at one moment and looked at the room during the night to soak up what was happening, and not one person was sitting, EVERYONE was on the dance floor and having a great time! All of our guests keep telling us how much fun this band was and some of them said they don't normally dance that much but something about this band made them get up. We also had their keyboardist play our ceremony music and they made the walk down the aisle special too!

We couldn't have asked for a better time at our wedding, and a huge part of that was because of Platinum Band Music and the vibe they created. Thank you so much PBM, it is a night we will never forget!

Platinum Band was absolutely perfect. They were amazing all throughout the setup phase, being very patient with our questions. Then when it was game time, the keyboardist played beautifully for the ceremony songs and through the cocktail hour, nailed our opening songs that myself and the new wife danced too, and then played a mix of a slow song and a fast motown oldie for the bride and fob to dance to. Everything went perfectly. There was no error on their part what so ever. The reception music had every single person dancing all night, and we've heard nothing but compliments since. I feel like we should have paid double what we did, because they were a bargain for how awesome they were! Every single member had their own unique thing about them so when the song came around for them to flaunt it, they crushed it. I can't say enough about how they made our wedding that much more special. Thank you Platinum, especially Angelynn for setting it up perfectly, my man who sang Stand by Me for me and the Mrs., ..best version I've ever heard. Your vocals are insane. Everybody, really, thank you. One last shout out to lead guitar / vocalist for the last song. You're a hero, and we will listen to wagon wheel every anniversary.

They are the best wedding band around. They absolutely made my wedding the best party my guests have every been to. Platinum Band performed at my wedding in 2015, and when my sister got engaged the first phone call made was to check the band's availability for summer 2016. We planned the date around the band because they did such an incredible job the first time, and last night they might have outdone themselves. From start to finish, Angel and the team were phenomenal. I had a guest come up to me later to say that he had never been to a wedding where people were dancing before dinner. It was a non-stop party the whole night. My entire family couldn't be more grateful to Platinum Band for making 2 of our weddings so special, memorable, and fun. We booked Platinum Band for our wedding and could not have been happier. From what we saw of them on their website, we knew that they were going to be a good choice, but they far exceeded our already high expectations. They read the room perfectly and played songs to cover the various age groups of our guests. Everyone danced at our wedding. Every one of our guests has told us how great the band was and I know that some of them asked the band if they had any business cards. These guys are well worth the money!

When I started wedding planning, I knew the one thing that I absolutely had to have to make my wedding an unforgettable experience - a great wedding band. I was even prepared to splurge for it. Luckily, Platinum Band Music was able to far exceed my expectations at an incredibly reasonable price. They truly blew everyone out of the water - we still have guests telling us how much fun our wedding was, and I attribute that in large part to Angel and the rest of the band who played an incredible show. Angel was particularly great about being flexible around our specific needs, and she was always on the same page as us about what kind of party we wanted to have. I have never seen so many people dancing instead of sitting down to eat their salad! By the time they ended the party on a rousing rendition of "Shout" our guests were ready to keep the party going into the early hours of the morning. From a diverse song selection to first-class sound, I would highly recommend Platinum Band Music to anyone!

On a special aside - if you are a Bruce Springsteen fan, Platinum Band Music does phenomenal covers. It was almost like the Boss was in the house with us that night!

ABSOLUTELY fantastic!!! We had the full band, and they were so exceptional. Our guests were truly blown away and we got dozens of compliments about them. Angel was so easy to work with and made the process seamless with easy forms and song lists to fill out. When we were still choosing our vendors, Platinum did a showcase for a few couples at a local music store, which really helped us decide which band we were going to go with. An added bonus to have a private showing! They played all of the songs we requested, and didn't deviate from the feel and genres we selected, as sometimes is the case with DJs or bands. Additionally, the classical guitarist for our ceremony was exceptional. He played whatever songs we requested for my walk down the aisle and our recessional (You Make My Dreams Come True, by Hall & Oats!!) and totally made it work. I can't say anything negative about Angel and the entire band! Can't wait for some of my friends weddings to be able to enjoy them again and again!!

My girlfriend had used Angel and Platinum Band Music for her wedding a few years ago and my husband and I were totally impressed. When it was our turn to start the hunt for a wedding band, nothing really jumped out at us. We decided to contact Angel, thinking that they may be way out of our budget, but were pleasantly surprised at the price, considering the quality and range that they perform. Angel even met with us at the venue to get an idea of the space and make suggestions about what would work best since we were having the reception in a restaurant. We had a piano player and sax player for cocktail hour, a jazz duo for the dinner portion and their "Platinum Soul" 10 piece band after dinner. The performance was flawless! They performed everything from Frank Sinatra, Bon Jovi, to Mark Ronson "Uptown Funk." We received so many compliments during the reception and people are still talking about how amazing the band was. I simply cannot say enough about the band and Angel. She made thoughtful suggestions and figured out how to make our wedding vision come to life in a non-traditional venue.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we put a great deal of emphasis on finding the perfect band. After all, all a successful wedding needs is good food, good drinks and, most importantly, great music. The Platinum Band exceeded our expectations. Platinum Band Music absolutely blew everyone away at our wedding this past weekend! Our guests kept telling us that there was never a time that the dance floor was empty and that was attributed to this stellar 11 piece band. They played a variety of hits and really knew how to read the audience. Our musically inclined guests particularly noticed the talent of the band and repeatedly told us that they could tell how much time and effort the group put into rehearsing and perfecting our song selections. In regards to cost, they are extremely reasonably priced (for such a large band) in comparison to other groups and are definitely worth more.

Angel was especially a pleasure to work with! She is extremely responsible and professional and always made herself available to answer any questions or address any concerns. The band was also flexible with us for some of the last minute changes that we made to our song selections. The first word that comes to mind when I think about Platinum is PHENOMENAL. I've had the pleasure of hiring Platinum four times now (including my wedding) and they hit it out of the park every single time. My guests continue to comment on how wondering and entertaining the band was, and how their music was the highlight of the evening. Platinum did such a great job of reading the crowd and connecting with them, which was amazing because they knew which songs would appeal to my group. I gave them a play list (which they played) , but they read the crowd and added in amazing and fitting songs wherever they saw fit. Also, they can play (and master) a variety of music - everything from jazz and Motown to classic rock and hip hop. There is nothing they can't play! Additionally, I worked with Virginia once again to book Platinum and get everything set up for my wedding, and she was truly such a pleasure to work with! She was very detailed, responsive, organized and flexible which I greatly appreciated. What a wonderful band to have at my September wedding. Angel (band leader) was so helpful and great to work with in the months and weeks leading up the the event - from quick email replies to informative phone calls, she addressed all of my questions and put me at complete ease when it came to the wedding musical entertainment. The quality of this band is unparalleled. We received countless compliments during our wedding and after, as people could not believe the top-notch quality of the music. The singers are exceptional and the depth of the sound quality really makes this band a hit. People were on the dance floor all night. The Platinum Band was amazing! Angel is super easy and great to work with, super accommodating. They learned new songs for my wedding and had people dancing literally from the first song of the night till the last song (and the crowd was begging for more!). I had one guest approach me exclaiming that the music was so great he couldn't make up his mind whether he'd rather be eating the food or on the dance floor! They played music that everyone enjoyed from the teenagers at the wedding to my grandmother and great aunt and uncle. The singer who sang the Bruce Springsteen songs was simply great. The R&B singers also knocked it out of the park. People who were never known to dance were up at it on the dance floor. If you can book them for your event you should definitely do so. You will not be disappointed.

Angel and the entire Platinum Band Music Company are AMAZING - They played our wedding this year at Crystal Springs and people can't stop complementing us on them. All 200 people were on the dance floor the entire night and we had to keep looking over as we thought a CD was paying (it was not - they are THAT GOOD!!!) Best Wedding Band EVER. I'm now trying to think of parties to host just to have them come back!!

We chose the 11-piece Platinum Soul Band and they were worth every penny. The band was amazing and they had everyone was dancing all night. I had people coming up to me asking what a band like that costs thinking it was around $20k. haha not even close. Trust me, go hear them play and you will be amazed as well. They are reasonably priced too compared to a lot of the other bands we looked at. Since it was our wedding, we were pretty busy during the night so i did not get to hear as much as i would have liked from them. But hopefully they play at somebody elses wedding soon so i can truly enjoy them! I have a feeling some of the newly engaged that attended our wedding may be reaching out to them in the near future! Anyway, Angel who is the band leader is great as she answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Thanks again for a great night!

Thanks to Platinum Band, I keep hearing over and over again from my guests that our wedding was "the best they've ever been to!" The dancefloor was packed from beginning to end--no one wanted to stop dancing! The band kept to the song selections we chose from their (long) list of options, and was excellent at reading the crowd and keeping the momentum of the party going all night. They played continuously, staggering their breaks so that there was constant live music playing. I spoke with Angel on the phone a few weeks prior to the wedding date to go over the timeline of events for the reception, names of our wedding party members, and the song choices for our "special dances" of the night. She was polite, professional, and flexible with all of my ideas. I would certainly recommend Platinum Band to anyone who wants their wedding reception to be a fun and memorable night that their guests will never forget!

The only thing I would change would be increasing the size of the dance floor because the band had everyone dancing the whole night. At first, we were thinking about a DJ for our wedding. But after seeing Platinum Wedding Band perform at a private showcase, we decided it was well worth it to pay extra for a wedding band... and they certainly did not disappoint. They performed a great variety of songs and also all of our special requests.
A lot of our guests were so pleased with the band as we received so many compliments. I recommend Platinum Wedding Band to anyone and everyone!

Platinum soul is truly an outstanding band! Every person at my wedding commented on how great they were. They played throughout the entire wedding, staggering their breaks so there was always music playing. Angel, who is one of the owners and who I communicated with, was a pleasure to work with and always responded immediately to any of my requests. She arranged for a harpist to play at our onsite wedding ceremony and a classical guitarist to play during the cocktail hour. Angel also made music/ song recommendations at my request. The entire band-musicians and singers are top quality professionals. Highly recommend.

Platinum Band was the highlight of our wedding! All of our guests are still talking about how amazing our band was! Platinum was very easy to work with and also took the time to learn some new songs for us for our wedding ceremony that were very special to our day! Words cannot express our gratitude and appreciation for everything that Platinum Band did to make our wedding day so incredible! BEST BAND EVER! Platinum band has the best price - cocktail hour included - best variety of singers and instruments, and best attitude of all the bands we looked into for our wedding. Angel was easy to coordinate with prior to the wedding for entrance music and preferred and not preferred songs. She even did a few songs for us that they originally listed as songs they did not regularly play. They were very accommodating and flexible and did a fabulous job of playing our requests plus feeling the crowd. The best thing about Platinum is that they played continuous music - they didn't stop - and we danced all night. At one point they had to reset something, an amp went out, and the sax player just improvised and played an awesome riff while they figured it out. People were even chanting "one more song" at the end of the night - it was a great time. Angel did shout outs for people's birthdays and anniversaries - we had a couple the night of our wedding - and worked well with our reception hall's policies and the schedule of events for the night. Some of our guests were so impressed, that a few of them booked Platinum for their own upcoming weddings. Platinum is professional, flexible, and the best wedding band in Northern NJ - I highly recommend them and can't wait to party with them again at our friends' weddings in the future!

Platinum band is IT! My husband and I had the pleasure of watching Platinum band in action a month before we got engaged at a friend's wedding. We couldn't stop talking or thinking about them. Then, once it was time for us to plan our wedding, selecting a band was a no-brainer. This band is amazing on all levels. First and foremost, they are so talented, you'll think you're listening to a recording. They jive so well together and have a comaraderie that goes beyond their music. The dance floor was full at all times during our wedding. I wish we had another event to plan so we could dance to them again! Second, booking the band and taking care of all the details of the contract and the special songs we wanted to play for our wedding night was so easy. Angel is patient and kind, and a breeze to work with. She emails and calls you back promptly. Finally, we had a few special requests, and this band learned and played the songs we requested with no problem. We ended our wedding reception with "All Night Long" by Lionel Richie....the band killed it!! They are so amazing...just listen to them, and you will see!

AMAZING! My family used Platinum Band for my brother's wedding a few years ago and I immediately knew I wanted them for my wedding. All the guests commented how the singers sounded like the actual artists and they never took a break! Guests were on the dance floor all night and asked if they could keep playing for the after party. Angel was very organized and helpful throughout the entire prcoess! I highly recommend them!

Platinum Band was absolutely incredible! Their music completely made our night. I have never seen so many people dancing, right up until the very end. We actually ran out of space on the dance floor! They know how to read the crowd and their range of songs appeal to people of all ages. They are the most professional, accommodating, talented group of musicians you could find!

The dancing started with the first song and never stopped. What a great band!
When they ended their last set at midnight, chants of 'one more song' filled The Manor's Imperial Room.
They quickly obliged with a rousing version of "Shout".

Platinum Band is by far the most outstanding band that I have ever heard at a wedding! My guests were blown away by their music and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. Every song was perfection and their energy was contagious. People are still calling and emailing me to say that it was the most fun wedding that they have ever experienced and i can say without a doubt, the band is what made it so spectacular. Five stars is hardly a high enough rating to give this group!!

Seriously, Don't even think about booking another band. We had a huge variety of people there, and from young to old they all loved the band. They even did an encore at the end of the night because people wouldn't leave the dance floor! Plus they have singers who can sing every type of music and are willing to do whatever you want. We went to a preveiw of them and if you are hesitant i encourage you to do the same, you will love them.

The Platinum Band Music made my wedding - they offered such a wide variety of music and were able to customize my song list so that it was really reflective of our personalities. Everyone at our wedding kept commenting on how amazing the band was and people danced all night. This band is completely professional, well organized and EASY to work with! I wish I had another event to hire them for.

Simply amazing!!!!! We got SO many compliments on the band! Many people even went as far to say that our wedding was the best they've ever been to! Angel was very accomidating with any/all requests (we even had the band play happy birthday for one of my friends!), and she always answered any emails the same day or the next. Angel came down off the stage and onto the dance floor so we could all sing along into the mic, which was really fun. We had one very slight mishap/confusion with our entrance into the rehearsal, but they were so smooth about it that most of the guests didn't even notice. They even redid our 'entrance' a second time at the end of the night that transitioned into our last dance. It turned out great! It truly was the best day of our lives!!! We will recommend them to any and everyone!! :)

These guys were Great. Angel was extremely responsive and accomadating and Friendly and always got back to us to answer questions, etc.. We had a few special requests that the band put together with no problems. When the wedding day came, everybody loved the band and had a great time. As a professional musician myself, I can honestly say I was extremely impressed!

I think the music choice is one of the most important decisions you have to make for your wedding and I couldn't be happier with our choice-- Platinum Band was amazing!! They played such a great variety of music and we had people dancing all night long. They sounded so great, you almost forgot they were playing live. Our guests were especially impressed with the Bruce Springsteen songs! We got so many compliments about our band and people still ask us about them a year after our wedding. We made the best decison when we booked them. They truly made our day memorable!

If I could give them a higher rating I would! This band is absolutely AMAZING! You will not regret booking them. Appropriate music (without any shouting of the lead singer)... they played everything so amazingly well -- and even I first dance song which they had to learn was perfect. So much fun-- everyone was dancing the night away! Professional, fun, truely the best I've ever seen--- my guests cannot say enough about them and are still talking about how great they were!

I really cant say enough about this band, they are AMAZING!!!!! They had everyone up and dancing the entire night. Each musician is extremely talented and it showed!! They are also very flexible as my husband and I requested at least 15 songs which at least 5-10 of them were learned and played. They can play everything from rap to country. I would highly highly recommend this band to anyone. My guest are still talking about how wonderful they were. Thank you guys so much for making our wedding so much fun. We loved the encore!!

This band's performance at our wedding was perfect! They sounded great and the performance was electrifying. They got everyone on the dance floor, I mean everyone! They even got people to sing along to Bon Jovi. They definitely "made" our wedding. We highly recommend them.

This band comes from southern NJ and they came all the way out to LI for us! That was great in itself. :)
They were also very accommodating. They learned a song for us for our first dance (Suddenly, from Xanadu) and did it beautifully. They also were able to do an unconventional processional song; My husband is a huge Superman fan and we wanted to some Superman stuff at the wedding. They played the Superman Romance theme as he and the bridal party walked down the aisle. It came out amazing, and very classy. Everyone loved it!
Lastly, and probably most importantly, they had people on the dance floor the whole time! We can't say enough good things about Platinum Band :o)

An absolute dream to work with is how I would describe the Platinum Band.

Angel and the entire group were fantastic. From the first time we met them they were happy to answer any questions that we may have had in addition to helping us make decisions along the way.

They were flexible in terms of putting together the pieces that we needed/wanted for the type of music that we were looking for. And their thorough pre-wedding questionnaire along with excellent communication (phone calls/emails) ensured that the night went off perfectly--almost. They did play the wrong last song initially, but after this was pointed out, they played an "encore" song and finished out the night on a song that we had chosen. Despite that minor mishap, I would say that they sounded amazing all night and we wouldn't have chosen another band.

Platinum worked with us on the playlist and our budget. We were very happy with the performances, and received many compliments on the band, especially the singers. I feel like the band rocked our ceremony, as the dance floor was consistently full throughout the reception.

We had a little miscommunication with the band about providing sound equipment to play music during our ceremony but once we clarified everything they were able to get us exactly what we needed. What's most important is their musical ability and they absolutely rock!! I can't tell you how many people came up to me during the reception to tell me how awesome the band is. They played the music we wanted to hear and were just spectacular. Oh and during the cocktail hour they had their jazz guitarist play some background music. Great talented people, awesome dance sets, fantastic time.
