A+ experience with Nelliena
Nelliena is the absolute best, I had an amazing wedding and it was all thanks to her. She had everything planned down to the minute! I can not express how much I would not have been able to do it on my own- Nelliena thought of so many things that never would have crossed my mind. I highly recommend getting a wedding planner! -

We had so much peace & joy on our wedding day! Nelliena was a HUGE part of that!!
WOW!! I don't even want to think about how my wedding day would have looked if I hadn't hired Nelliena & the Banquet Boss team... I like to view myself as a pretty organized person and I was fully ready to take on a DIY wedding, but the amount of details that go into planning a wedding go far beyond what an excited, determined bride can do!
I mainly hired Nelliena with the intention to help run the wedding so my family wouldn't be stressed out to set up and tear down. Not only was the day smooth and better than I imagined (even when it did decide to rain on the day!) my entire family got to be present and enjoy the day and truly experience all the hard work and money that went into the event! It would have been a completely different, exhausting experience without Nelliena.
She helped us every step of the way and the care and compassion that she had for us throughout the planning journey was so helpful as we were balancing work and life during our busy engagement season. Every meeting we had she asked us questions we had not ever thought of but were such important details to catch in order to have a smooth day! I was so grateful for her guidance!!
Her recommendations were amazing too! Specifically, Cascadia Pizza and Seattle Parties (DJ) were incredible!! I still have guests telling me how fun and GOOD the pizza was at the wedding!
HIGHLYYYYY recommend Planner Boss, Banquet Boss, and Bar Boss for a smooth wedding and service your guests will rave to you about months to come! -

Nelliena is a total pro and wedding expert. You’ll be in good hands with her and her team. She knows how to focus on the major things but also remember the details. She’ll work to make your day perfect but also be honest about what she thinks. She also takes special steps to make you feel special on your wedding day (sets out champagne to sign the marriage certificate, etc.). Thank you for everything Nelliena! You’re the best. -

Nelliena and her staff are very attentive and hardworking. They will make every attempt to meet your needs. When problems does occur (our photographer was sick the morning of the wedding) they will stay calm and come up with a solution to the problem. We have hired Nelliena for another family wedding next year! -

Nelliena and her team saved my wedding day!
We were referred to Nelliena with just over a month to go before the wedding date, and in the first consultation she was able to quickly identify the [significant] gaps in our wedding planning. Before I paid her a dime, she jumped in to help us, and I hired her on the spot.
She got our whole wedding planned in 30 days, took the weight of the world off my shoulders, and made sure our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Plus, she's hilarious and so fun to work with. Her teams of florists, bartenders and servers are outstanding - I just can't recommend their services enough. -

Nelliena was incredible in the planning of our wedding & really helped make it beyond a dream come true. Planning a wedding during a pandemic came with so many extra challenges and frustrations, and she was so incredible at helping manage all of them and make sure our day pulled together magically & went super smooth. I cannot imagine having planned our wedding without her and would recommend her in a heartbeat for any bride's. Words cannot do the experience justice! -

The Nelliena Events team was the perfect complement to our wedding! We had planned a two-year engagement and were able to check off many of the bigger tasks ourselves early on but knew as we got closer to our wedding that we would want someone to help get us across the finish line - the DIY Planner package was perfect for us, as Nelliena kept us on track in those final months! The planning software was easy to use and we loved that we could be in control of as much as we wanted and then turn over those final details to the team. The timeline and seating chart were particularly useful, especially as we had to be extra flexible with our RSVP deadline and timing decisions based on pandemic protocols. Nelliena empowered us to make decisions that were right for us, and always provided as much information as she had available so that we were as up to date as possible. That flexibility was invaluable to us and wouldn't have been possible without Nelliena!
However, the truly unique thing for us about working with Nelliena is her relationship with our venue, Black Diamond Gardens. Nelliena and her team knew our venue and their team down to the last little details from the specific microphone our officiant needed to the labeled parking stalls for vendors and family to the timing of everything day-of that made everything come together so seamlessly. We would absolutely recommend the Nelliena Events team, especially if you are a Black Diamond Gardens wedding! -

Nelliena and her team were SO great! Throughout the whole process of wedding planning I felt like she kept me on track and was very clear on what I was needing to be doing/thinking about. She was encouraging throughout the whole process and did great accommodating my tricky requests. ;) As we got closer to the wedding she was so helpful reaching out the vendors which took so much stress off me. As far as the day of- she was so great at letting me enjoy my day. If anything went wrong, I have no clue about it cause everything was perfect from my prospective. :) If you’re on the fence hiring Nelliena/ a wedding planner I urge you to as it makes the whole wedding planning and wedding day experience much less stressful! -

Our original wedding venue had to cancel on us with 4 months to go. Nelliena events scrambled and quickly found us a new, better wedding venue. Before that happened, they were very helpful to us. But after that happened, they went into full on help mode and we are extremely grateful for everything they did. We had a very busy schedule but we never worried about the state of the planning process thanks to Nelliena and Amberly. The wedding went off without a hitch and it was one of the best days of our lives. -

Nelliena was a god send! She has the perfect combination of expertise/attention to detail and ability to keep things light and not stressful. She also has lots of experience with multi-cultural weddings, which ours was. We hired her "day of coordination" services, but received so much more. After mapping out the big picture, she met with us monthly for several months to lay out a plan of action and keep us on track. As the big day approached, she checked in weekly. One month out she took over completely and handled all the communication and final checkins with our vendors. This was so fabulous as it allowed us to relax and focus on all the family and friends coming to town. Nelliena thought of everything and our wedding was enhanced by her many great ideas and by the exceptional work of her staff. The day went off without a hitch. I can't recommend her highly enough. She's delightful to work with and genuinely cares about each and every event she coordinates. LIke I said, look no further! -

Nelliena was amazing!
We loved our experience with Nelliena events. We initially booked her because there was a discounted rate though the venue. However, after talking to her one time we knew we has made the right decision. Nelliena is easy to talk to and nonjudgmental and helped us get to the wedding we leave dreamed of. Even when a huge family tragedy struck, nelliiena and her team were more than professional and made us feel like we were the most important thing. I do appreciate Nelliena and her team and how seamless or wedding was with their support!! -

Mandy Sent on 10/04/2018Having organized a number of corporate events for work, when the thought of spending some of my limited budget on a wedding planner, to be honest, seemed like money that could be better spent elsewhere. After having a free consultation with Nelliena (part of the offerings of our venue) – where I walked in ready to say “no thank you”, let me tell you - I walked out of that meeting willing to sell off my engagement ring to hire her (though not necessary as she was extremely affordable)!
Nelliena at Nelliena Events was on my speed dial for the months & weeks leading up to my wedding. She uses a really cool software that provides you tons of templates on things from seating charts, timelines to packing lists for your wedding party to keep everything organized and easily accessible – no having to search through Pinterest for tips & guides! She was always available for a panicked call (umm…my officiant just bailed – help!) and was quick with a calming word or on-the-fly solution for all of your wedding woes. She worked directly with all of my vendors which saved me a world of stress and coordination – which is priceless when you’re trying to maintain school/work/sanity while planning a wedding.
All the way to the day of my wedding when it rained on the only day in August…during my outdoor wedding…with technical difficulties…not to mention other day-of bumps, Nelliena & the Nelliena Events team were on it – keeping me stress free and able to enjoy my wedding and guests. I can’t stress enough what good investment Nelliena’s services were for my special day. There’s no way it would have been such an unforgettable event without her. Hire her, you won’t regret it – I know I didn’t!

Adam Sent on 11/28/2017From our very first consultation Nelliena listened carefully to what we wanted for our wedding and the amount of work we were willing to put in to get there. Because Nelliena is a great listener and impeccably organized, she was able to devise a monthly plan with achievable goals that made the process of evaluating vendors relatively painless and fun! Not only did she work to build a rapport with us, it was clear that she knew many of the local event vendors and how to communicate our needs and wants to them to make our day happen. Throughout the process she was readily available for questions and communicated regularly and assured us that everything was on-track.
On the actual day of our wedding Nelliena, and her assistant, were in a word indispensable. My husband and I only had to show up and enjoy our day with our family and friends. There’s nothing more we could have asked for than that. Whatever happened behind the scenes to make our special day happen, we were completely ignorant of it and Nelliena made sure that was the case. Every detail was executed exactly as we had wanted and described to her and our vendors. Nelliena even surprised us with some wonderful details that were completely aligned with our vision, again a testament to her listening and organizational skills. Even at the end of the night when it was time to clean up the venue Nelliena had it all under control so my husband and I could continue celebrating with our guests. She even made sure that some very large, very beautiful, flower arrangements that we were unable to take home continued to bring joy and happiness by donating them to a local nursing home.
It’s no small task to make two guys who are relatively introverted feel completely at ease from beginning to end of the wedding experience. Nelliena is a professional in every sense of the word, and if you choose her to plan and manage your event you and your guests will be well taken care of and be nothing short of impressed. -
