Beautiful in every way

One thing we absolutely refused to compromise on were our wedding photos, and Rich not only delivered beautiful shots but made sure that the process was fun, stress-free, and entirely our own. At each and every single step of the way, he was super responsive, and a breeze to work with. And when the proofs came through, we were blown away. All the moments, big and small, captured impeccably. We've gotten nothing but compliments, and it's thanks in no small part to Rich.

A note: I wasn't someone who wanted to spend a ton of time planning out a million shots and discussing at length edit styles or anything like that. I hired Rich because I had seen his portfolio and felt like I could trust him completely. And he absolutely nailed it. He's both a professional and an artist - and you could do no better than to hire him to capture your special day. 10/10.

Flawless Experience

I found Rich after seeing his spectacular photography at my venue (Lyman Estate) online. Turns out he was a preferred vendor of theirs as well. From the first time I spoke with him, I knew not only that I would hire him, but that we would be in great hands. Rich is professional and responsive. He's intuitive, and understood what my priorities were very quickly. When I saw my photos, he had remembered all the little things I told him were important for me to have captured! I'm a very punctual bride and he helped me stay on schedule as I floated around on Cloud 9 during my wedding. So grateful that he made things SO easy on the day of our wedding. We are SO pleased with how the photos turned out. We have more than we even need. Our families are so excited as well.

Photography perfection!

When my husband and I met Rich, we knew that he was the perfect photographer for our wedding. He is kind and funny, and really values what his clients have to say. We were looking for someone that would be able to capture our wedding in a natural, fun, and uncontrived way. He had an excellent rapport with the entire wedding party, especially since he didn't keep them away from cocktail hour for too long!

Amazing Engagement AND Wedding Photos

Rich was one of our best decisions for our wedding day. From our very first phone consult, we knew he was our "perfect match". For a couple that doesn't take a lot of pictures together, he made what would have otherwise been an awkward experience, extremely comfortable. We were so happy that we did our engagement shoot with him. The pictures came out amazing and it definitely prepared us for the wedding! Rich was a calming force during our big day, took quick but amazing formal shots of our large families. But, most importantly, he took amazing candids that really captured the emotion of the moment and day. He worked alongside Branden, who was equally great at capturing moments. We got our first peek at pictures not even a week after the wedding, and the rest of the shots within a week after that. Any edits we asked for he was quick to correct. It was amazing working with him and we will HIGHLY recommend him to all of our friends and family! Thank you Rich!!!!

No Need to Keep Searching

About two minutes into meeting with Rich for the first time my husband and I knew he was the right choice for our day. He values organic moments and captures them in the most beautiful way. Rich brings this extreme high energy and focus in the calmest of ways.

He was timely with every message I sent him, and great about answering all our questions. He was also just a joy to have around at our wedding, I was genuinely sad when he came up to me and told me it was his time to leave. He not only is super talented and organized but also adds humor, direction, and calmness to the day. He handled having to come up to Vermont for the weekend int he best way and was very flexible with our time schedule and locations!

If you are looking for a photographer that is easy to work with, is fun to have around for your special moments, and also does a top notch job you do not need to look any further.

Wedding Sept 29, 2018

Rich and Ashley were one of the first vendors we hired when we got engaged. They photographed my sister’s wedding the year before and we knew we wanted them to photograph our big day! From our engagement photo shoot in Maine (Rich travelled to our favorite town to get our pictures!) to the day of our wedding Rich and Ashley were a dream to work with. Professional, timely and supportive, they listened to all of our concerns and wishes for our wedding photos and over delivered on all fronts. On the day of the wedding they fit seamlessly into the group, somehow being everywhere and nowhere at the same time. They sent us a sneak preview just a month after our wedding and had all of our high resolution digital photos ready just a few weeks later. I can not recommend them enough!

Flexible, responsive, and captured the perfect moments.

Rich was fantastic in both the planning and execution of our wedding day photography.

My husband and I are located on the West coast so being able to call outside of standard business hours was a lifesaver.

The day of, it was fantastic having professionals that were on the same page. A good photographer is one you don’t even realize is there but also manages to capture all of the little moments that make up the hurried, beautiful frenzy of a wedding day.

We were equally appreciative of Rich’s flexibility when it came to adjusting our package details to better suit our needs. We love the photos capture from our wedding day and the service we received.

Amazing engagement and wedding photos!

Rich was absolutely great to work with from our engagement session in Central Park to our wedding almost a year later in Martha's Vineyard. All of our photos turned out absolutely beautifully and we can't stop looking at them. We especially loved that the photographers were able to capture the little moments that we didn't actually see during the wedding but are able to relive afterwards. Rich was also extremely responsive via email and phone which was extremely helpful during the planning process. Would highly recommend Pizzuti Photography!

My wife and I booked Pizzuti Photography for our wedding and we could not be happier with the result. We met with them initially at their studio and it was very clear from the beginning that they were very professional and very talented. We reviewed some of their photos from previous weddings and loved their style. Booking them was a breeze and the communication up until the wedding day was easy. We supplied them with our timeline and the portraits that we wanted as well as some of the stuff that we did not.

On the big day we worked with Ashley and Melissa and both of them were great. They didn't make us feel uncomfortable getting our photo taken and the whole experience was effortless and fun. And the most important thing was that the photos came out perfect! You will not regret booking them for your big day!

choosing a photographer was the most difficult wedding decision i had to make. as a plus-size (12) bride, i was terrified that i would spend all my time and effort (and money) on a wedding, and have no photos of myself that i liked to show for it. i did a ton of research, and spoke with many different photographers, but ultimately chose pizzutti photography with whom to entrust my big day.

rich was incredibly easygoing, and responsive. i found those two qualities to be extremely important in all of my vendors. preparation with him was timely; i never felt like anything was left to the last second. we were very much on the same page, and he checked in with me to make sure we really were, which i appreciated. we chose to use the option with the second shooter (which i'm glad we did, and definitely recommend doing), and he was just as nice and easygoing as rich.

all the different components of my wedding day were well documented, and the quality is excellent. my mom, especially, was very happy with the photos, and we all know how important that is. :-) if you're looking for a photographer who is go-with-the-flow, responsive, respectful, and classy, you can't go wrong with rich. i'm so glad he was there to spend our day with us.

Rich was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. My husband and I are both fairly camera-shy and tend to not take a lot of photos together, so we were a little nervous about getting engagement photos done. Rich immediately set us at ease and spent time getting to know us, which made the shoot a much more positive experience than either of us expected (of course with beautiful results). Between then and our wedding day, Rich was very responsive and detail-oriented about our timeline and logistics for the day. He helped keep things moving smoothly, navigated a few tricky bridal party situations effortlessly, and made some great recommendations for shots and locations that resulted in an absolutely beautiful portfolio for the day. He produced a wonderful blend of planned portraits and candid shots and we couldn't be happier with the results. Best part - he had initial shots to us incredibly quick and final portfolio ready well within the fast deadline he promised. We cannot recommend working with Rich enough!

Hiring Pizzuti to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! Rich was extremely easy to work with and was very responsive. He captured parts of our wedding day that I didn't even think about, and was able to get so many AMAZING candid photos! We were looking for a photographer that was able to capture our special moments without being noticed; most of the time we didn't even know he was there and blended into the crowd. We still cannot get over how many fantastic candid photos he caught, especially since we didn't even notice that he was there taking them! Rich was extremely efficient with the family photos and got us to our reception with time to spare. We had such a great experience and love our wedding photos so much that I know that we will use Pizzuti in the future!

I have been in love with Ashely and Rich since I met them at a friends wedding that they were photographing in 2009! Her wedding pictures were the best I’ve ever seen!! I tied the knot 1/29/17 and of course had the Pizzutis photograph my wedding. My pictures were stunning. I was more than pleased. They are so down to earth and ready to make your day as special as possible. They caught some very sentimental moments and I’m so happy I will have those photos to treasure! Rich was amazing to work with from our first call with him to receiving our wedding photos a few weeks ago! His energy is awesome and they truly were able to capture our day beautifully, really telling a story. His second photographer, Matt, was equally awesome and fun to spend the day with! You can see from the smile on everyone's faces all day that they truly make you feel comfortable.

Pizzuti Photography Studios beautifully captured our wedding day, I am forever grateful for their talent and expertise. From the day we first contacted Rich, he was extremely responsive and attentive to any of our needs or concerns. At the time my husband and I were doing long distance, and Rich was always willing to accommodate our unpredictable schedule. Once we met with Rich in person, we immediately knew we made the right decision. His calm demeanor put us both at ease, which was even more evident on our wedding day. We had a specific list of portraits as well as various settings we wanted to try out photos, and Rich made it all happen in an incredibly efficient and effective manner. Rich, his associate Steve and videographer Ben worked so well together, and seamlessly integrated themselves into each part of our wedding day, from getting ready, to the ceremony and finally the reception. Now that we have received all of our photos and the video, I cannot say enough how happy and excited we both are with how everything came out. Rich and Steve captured truly beautiful and creative portraits and candids, and Ben gave us a highlight reel that allows us to relive the most precious moments from the day. All of them are true artists. We worked with Ashley and Rich for our wedding in July 2017 in Mystic, CT. We absolutely loved working with them! Rich was great to work with as we scheduled details and worked out plans. It's no surprise that Rich & Ashley receive such amazing reviews as they are TRULY outstanding! On your wedding day, you hang out with your bridal party.. and your photographer ALL DAY so you want to make sure you hire the right one. The Pizzutis are kind, professional, funny, organized, and attentive. They go above and beyond the call of duty - I was about to walk out the door when Ashley reminded me to open the gift from my husband and helped fix my dress during the reception! Rich pinned boutonnières on groomsmen like a true champion. When choosing vendors, our top priority was finding amazing photographers as we knew that would be the piece of our wedding (other than the memories!) that lived on forever. So, to say that we researched and stressed over the choice would be an understatement! However, once we met Rich, we knew that he was the perfect choice for us. He is engaging, funny, and, most importantly, truly passionate about photography. We were lucky enough to also have the lovely Ashley shoot our wedding as well and, we must say, the description on their site of them as the “dynamic duo” is 100% true! They captured our day to perfection. Ashley even rescued a potential disaster moment by catching a shaving cut on the very nervous father of the bride just in time! These two did not miss a thing. They rode along on our adventurous trolley ride from Salem to Boston to Salem, and captured our very large wedding down to the smallest detail. We do not have a single picture that we don’t love, and picking out favorites has been incredibly difficult! We are so lucky to have chosen Pizzuti to capture our day and we will always cherish the beautiful photos they have given us. We absolutely loved working with Rich Pizzuti for our wedding photography in September 2015 at the Lyman Estate. We felt completely comfortable with Rich from our first meeting, and we loved his "tell the story" view of documenting our event. Rich and assistant Dustin went out of their way to make sure we got the photos WE wanted. They did a great job making those who don't like having their photo taken feel at ease -- and look great! We used Ashley along with an assistant photographer for our wedding day. We also did our video through Pizzuti. Ashley did a phenomenal job. We have so many beautiful photos from the wedding day. Our first meeting with Ashley was via Skype and we later met in person to scout out the reception location. Ashley was super easy to work with. At our ceremony and reception she caught so many moments and we didn't even realize she was there! She also worked seamlessly with the videographer so that they were both able to get great shots without bumping into one another. After the wedding we got online access to view our photos within a few weeks. A few more weeks later we received a very sweet box in the mail with a usb of all of our photos and prints of the "photographers edit" photos. The highlight video we received was amazing. It was well worth spending a bit extra to get a wedding video. All in all we were super happy with our decision to use Ashley and Pizzuti Photography and would highly recommend!

Ashley was the lead photographer for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with how our wedding day went or the amazing photos we received after. From the moment we reached out, Rich and Ashley were consummate professionals. They quickly returned phone calls and talked with us not only about their style but ours as well. With their easy going nature, beautiful portfolio and realistic approach to covering photography needs on the wedding day, hiring them was a no brainer.

We scheduled an Engagement Session so we could meet and work with Ashley before our wedding day. My fiancee and I are behind the scenes kind of people so we were nervous about getting our pictures taken. Ashley made us feel so comfortable and didn't have us do anything cheesy... all our photos are real moments of us, which we absolutely love.

The wedding day was great, Ashley caught so many amazing moments that I didn't even know happened. She took the lead and directed everyone during formal photos, but completely blended into the crowd during the reception and wasn't intrusive at all. Ashley even graciously involved our 8 year old nephew (ring bearer) who was hanging around, just wanting to be part of the action and it was such a fun, private moment for us to have him with us for some of our couples photos.

Our photos captured the story of the day and more which is exactly what Ashley was going for. We could not have been happier with the quality of photos we received. They were absolutely stunning. There is one sunset photo that seriously should be in a magazine. We will have these photos forever and are so proud to show them off to everyone!

Ashley photographed our wedding in September, and my husband and I could not have been more pleased! From start to finish, the Pizzutis were highly professional and responsive. Ashley and Rich made the process as smooth as possible. They listened to what we were looking for, asked all the right questions and helped us think through the little details that hadn't crossed our minds before, while also offering their own expert advice and opinions. Ashley did an amazing job photographing our wedding - our photos are beautiful! She captured all the right moments throughout the day - we loved her approach of capturing the details, portraits, and also more candid moments. Ashley was by our side, ready to help out as I was getting ready or to capture that perfect moment, without being distracting or too obtrusive. If you want a fun photographer who will give you great work and eliminate stress on your wedding day, go with Ashley and Rich Pizzuti!!! I was referred to Pizzuti Photography by another photographer I had seen at a friend's wedding who was unavailable. They completely over-delivered in the experience I was hoping for. I spoke with Rich multiple times on the phone since my initial outreach and he explained their philosophy on photography and asked me lots of questions on what I was looking for on my wedding day. I instantly felt calm when speaking to him. I explained I wanted the photography to include some portraits, but overall I wanted the pictures to just capture the story of our wedding day. And that's exactly what they did. Ashley and her colleague were there on the actual wedding day, and she made sure I didn't stress from beginning to end. She captured every moment from the limo ride to our romantic, emotional and intimate first look, ceremony and reception. She was easy-going, extremely likable and very easy to get along with. She stayed more than the allotted time without any hesitation, which I was very grateful for. I couldn't have asked for a better experience overall. After our wedding, we went to their studio to meet with Rich and Ashley about canvas prints and a photo album. Their studio is AWESOME. We also got to meet their daughter, who is adorable! Between my new husband!!, my mom and me, we ordered 2 albums, 2 big canvas prints and 2 small prints. 3 in black and white for my mom, and one big scenic one of me and my husband in color. We received proofs within days from Rich, and the actual product in the mail days after that. All of them are GORGEOUS. We still have to select the photos for our album. Overall, if you want quality photos combined with laid back people and an excellent experience, Pizzuti Photography is the place to go!

Rich photographed our wedding on September 5th, 2015. He was awesome to work with! His communication throughout the entire process was very professional and he even drove over an hour away to meet us for our engagement shoot. He does a great job making everyone feel comfortable and at ease on such a stressful and hectic day.

The pictures (and video done by his videographer, Ben) came out amazing. We were extremely happy with the number of great photos he was able to capture. Not just the obvious shots but the candid and creative photos as well. Rich and Ben did a great job at capturing all the important moments while somehow managing to blend in and not 'get in the way'. Pizzuti Photography is top notch and I will without a doubt be recommending them to my friends and family for weddings and other special events in the future. Thanks again Rich!

We can't say enough about Pizzuti Photography. We found them by viewing some of their work while touring wedding venues - my husband instantly loved their work and reached out to them right away. Rich and his associate, Randy, were so nice and professional. I was nervous about being a bride and the center of attention and having a camera in my face all day, but during portraits, they made me feel so comfortable, and during candid moments I hardly noticed they were. And the photos turned out beautifully. Every time I look back at our reception photos, I can't stop smiling because they truly captured how much everyone was having. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful images they captured!

From my very first conversation with Rich Pizzuti , a year in advance of my daughter's wedding date, I knew I was in excellent hands. I was very specific about what I did and did not want and he honored my requests every step of the way. He always returned phone calls and e mails promptly and made a real effort to get to know my daughter and myself. He never tried to up-sell additional services, but would patiently explain each option so the choices and decisions we made could be thoughtfully considered without pressure. He books a ten hour day, which may seem long, but we used every minute of that time. The typical photograper's 8 hour booking would have left us short. We also hired an assistant photographer (included in the price I have quoted) and he was worth every additional penny. I was so glad Rich recommended this as we got many great photos of the bride's and groom's parties getting ready, which only one photograper couldn't have done. The assistant also got some great candid guest shots as we were posing for firmal pictures. Our photos were great and we had prints to look at very quickly. The flash drive came about a month after the wedding. I very highly recommend Pizzuti Photography. You will not be disappointed.

Rich and Ashley were absolutely amazing! They did our wedding for us in November at the Peabody Essex Museum. They had a great relationship with the museum and knew some spots that maybe didn't look great when you looked at them, but the pictures are outstanding! They really are fantastic.

They also listened to us really well about our focus being on candid shots at the reception. We wanted to capture the real moments that, I think, are often missed at weddings with too many formal photos.

They are also a ton of fun and made us both feel really comfortable.

Highly highly recommend!!!

Rich and Ashley were amazing! The wedding was not in our home town, but they took the time to get to know us through several phone calls and multiple emails. The day the wedding arrived, no explanation of what was expected was necessary. They were able to take great candids, friendly to all of our guests, but also could control the situation when half of the family had an opinion. The quality of the pictures were truly amazing. We LOVED working with Pizzuti for our wedding photography. We learned about Pizzuti through an acquaintance's photos on social media. We were instantly impressed with Pizzuti's artistic vision and style, so we decided to contact them. We met with Rich Pizzuti once before our wedding to go over the details, and he provided a number of planning tools that were invaluable for planning the shots we wanted (especially family portraits). Going into the wedding, we felt reasonably secure that we'd made the right choice for our wedding photographer, but it became crystal clear from the moment that Rich and his assistant (Brandon) arrived at our hotel that Pizzuti was the perfect choice for us. They were professional, good humored, and laid-back, and they clearly had an understanding of what we wanted in our wedding photos. More than that, however, they also helped us make game-time decisions that maintained our vision when dealing with unforeseen circumstances. For example, during our first-look (the location of which was suggested by Pizzuti), they were able to turn the nuisance of a passing rainstorm into a very artistic aspect of our photos, and I can't even imagine the first-look photos without the rain. Furthermore, his journalistic style of photography really told the story of our wedding through candid photos, still life photos, and action shots that captured the feeling/emotion of the occasion. He had a natural eye for what would make a great photo and, perhaps more importantly, how each image would contribute to the story of our wedding day. We can't say enough good things about Pizzuti's photography. We absolutely love every photo they took. We were also impressed with how stealthy Rich and his assistant were; they blended right into the background and didn’t disturb any aspect of our wedding. The best thing about working with Rich, however, was how laid back and down-to-earth he was. We strongly recommend Pizzuti Photography for your wedding. They were perfect.

My husband Paul and I got married on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Hyatt Boston Harbor Hotel in East Boston. We are in the industry so choosing our vendors was a very interesting and exhausting process.

From the first conversation that we had with Rich until the last (3 days before our wedding) he was extremely interested in our story and passionate about telling it through his work. I loved the attention to detail that Rich & Ashley displayed on the day of and in their finished products. Rich was even able to capture a solo sailboat passing in the distance and it made our photos that much better! He has a great eye!

Ashley was with me the whole time and she was like my wedding coordinator at times! She made sure I was always hydrated and even made sure I drank my water through a straw so I didn't smudge my lipstick! Her photos of me and my bridesmaids getting ready were amazing, she took photos of different aspects of our time together and captured our morning well.

Rich was with my husband all morning and the photos of him and his guys getting ready were great. They did some great creative shots as well as so fun and candid ones. Rich was great with our bridal party portraits and really took charge and coordinated to make sure that we were able to capture every moment.

Pizzuti Photography is hands down the nicest, most genuine people that we have worked with. We wanted the best and we got the best. Thank you so much for capturing every moment of the best day of our lives!

I just wanted to say My husband and I absolutely loved working with Rich! I am in love with beautiful pictures he took for our wedding. I look at them every day! They are simply breath taking. The quality of the images are perfection. The moments that he captured we will now have forever!

On top of the amazing work he did for our wedding, we had done a mini photo shoot for our engagement shots. Those images were equally as beautiful. He took time before to meet with me before our wedding and do a walk through at our venue, and answered many questions. I really felt relaxed the day of knowing Rich was our photographer. Rich worked with us for our small wedding (25 guests) in October 2014. My wife and I didn't have a specific plan in mind going into it, but Rich handled everything perfectly so we didn't have to think about it on our special day. He did a first look series that came out really nice, and then we went around Boston taking pictures at a few locations. We had a quick ceremony followed by a reception, both of which yielded some great pictures. He took some nice staged photos with family and friends after our ceremony, but his candid shots were what really impressed us. Since our wedding was shorter and smaller than a typical day-long event, Rich gave us a much lower price. Throughout the day, he was helpful, friendly and professional, which really put us at ease. We were both very happy with his work and would definitely recommend him.

Hiring Rich & Ashley Pizzuti to photograph our wedding was the best decision we could have made! After an extensive search through local wedding photographer’s online portfolios, we agreed that we were drawn to Rich & Ashley’s photographs the most! We worked with Rich from our first email up until the big day. He always responded to us very quickly, answered all of our questions and was flexible throughout the process. We felt as though he understood our vision and captured all of the moments throughout the day to brilliantly tell our own personal love story. The Pizzutis are really fun and did an amazing job at our wedding. The captured all the big moments beautifully and all the pictures turned out even better than we imagined. They got great shots in minimal time allowing us to enjoy our cocktail hour and reception. They blend into the crowd really easily and were non obtrusive which was important to us for our guests. Their turn around time was quick and we were even able to get a sneak peak the day after at our brunch. We will continue to use them in the future and my family has already booked them for another wedding. Highly recommend!

Working with rich was the so stress-free. He met with me when I first started the planning process and again a couple weeks before the wedding to get the final details straightened out. He went through every detail of the wedding with a breakdown of the day and asked me all the photos I wanted and what we wished to focus on. He was so nice and made me feel so comfortable knowing that he wouldn't miss a thing! We also had our engagement photo shoot with Rich and he was so accommodating after our first appointment got rained out. He met us in Boston with an assistant and important lights for our shoot. I was so impressed! He also helped my camera shy husband get more comfortable.
Rich also had me fill out a form in order that no detail would be forgotten. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and rich was after us all day making sure to not miss a moment. Honestly his photos told the story so perfectly of our day. You can see the happiness in the people's eyes because he made sure to get action shots which everyone loved. I felt like he really exceeded my expectations. Our guests loved our photo too because they also were included. I would recommend rich and his team to all future brides because he is professional, loves what he does and really is super accommodating and makes the bride feel so stress free with regards to photography. Pizzuti photography was amazing! The team was so much more than just "photographers" and a "videographer". We just got our photo proofs (less than a month from the wedding) and they are amazing and truly tell the story of our day. I'm not even sure when they took all of the great shots as they were quite stealth, but above their great work, they became our friends and guests. No longer a "vendor". They blended perfectly with our friends and family and Ashley kept me on track and calms as I got ready...especially when I noticed it was pouring out. She calmly reassured me that the rain would pass and it was part of the anticipation but it would clear and we'd have our outdoor ceremony (she was right). She saw a need and fulfilled it, even though it wasn't in our contract to soothe the bride. Thank you so much, Pizzuti photography!! You captured our day perfectly and added so many special touches!

I can't even begin to say how pleased my husband and I were that we chose Ash and Rich as our wedding photographers! From the first meeting we knew we would love them, they are so down to earth, easy to talk to! They are both extremely talented and we absolutely LOVE our pictures.

On the day of the wedding they were there right on time and stayed through the very last dance. They are a fun duo and we enjoyed having them there to share our wedding day with us. They were right there for and captured every special moment, but were not obtrusive at all. The pictures they have presented to us thus far have been AMAZING and we waited less than 2 weeks to get the first round back. Everyone who I have shown our pictures to has been thoroughly impressed!

I also went to Ashley for my boudoir photos, which I gave to my husband as a wedding gift. I was so nervous before I went but she made me feel completely at ease and told me exactly what to do to get perfect shots. She worked with a interior designer to set up the most amazing backdrops for the photos and also coordinated my hair and make up with a local salon. The pictures I got were amazing! Very tasteful, beautiful, and sexy. Not only did I get a great gift for my husband but I had so much fun!

Before we executed a contract, we had a call with Rich and he answered all of our questions and walked us through their style of shooting weddings. It was clear from the beginning that they were incredibly organized, very professional and polite, and wanted to understand us as a couple to make sure they tailored their business to our goals for the wedding day. They provided us with pre-wedding forms to get all of our concerns and desired photographs. We met with Rich at our venue to go over the details step-by-step of each location and type of photograph we wanted. They were not “pushy” at all and gave us freedom to describe the photos and locations we liked, but at the same time they gave us advice and suggestions to consider for capturing the moment. On the wedding day, Rich and Ashley were fantastic! They were so relaxing and seemed to be sharing in our joy. One of their most impressive qualities was their directives to us, our families, and our wedding party. They directed us as to who was in the next shot and where it was to be taken so that we could get on with the celebration. Our limo didn’t start following the ceremony, which Rich and Ashley knew about, but they kept it a secret and kept us occupied with pictures until a replacement arrived. They handled the situation well, keeping us calm and able to enjoy the moment. They caught many little details at the reception that will remind us of that night years from now. We received a sneak peak the next day. The turnaround on the rest of the photos was incredibly fast. The quality was awesome. We received a lot of compliments on the photography and our wedding party remarked how much they liked our photographers. One of our bridesmaids hired Pizzuti for her wedding. We can’t say enough good things about their work and their personalities. Now, we get to view our college friends’ baby through the lenses of Pizzuti and we hope we can have them capture the next big celebrations in our lives too!

We cannot recommend Rich and Ash highly enough! We found them after searching through many, MANY portfolios online, and were particularly taken with their talent for capturing moments and emotions in a natural manner. So we were already fans of their work before meeting them, which made it all the better when they turned out to be such amazing people! Reading through the other reviews here it’s clear that every other couple had the same experience we did: completely professional, thoughtful, and warm.

Working with them for our engagement shoot was a great experience as well; we spent the afternoon getting to know each other, and got some great shots that had us really excited for the wedding. Leading up to the wedding they checked in with us and the event coordinator to make sure they’d be prepared to work around the schedule and layout of our event, and to let us know what to expect. With so many things to worry about while planning a wedding, it was great to feel sure that the photography would not be a question at all.

On the day of the wedding, they helped each of us through our respective nerves as we prepared, then simply disappeared into the event itself, capturing all sorts of moments both big and small. Even with our high expectations we were blown away by the photos (which we were even able to enjoy early proofs of during our honeymoon!), and have absolutely no regrets choosing the Pizzutis!

We decided that wedding photos were important – we'd look back on these photos for years & didn't want to regret it. Our entire experience w/ Pizzuti Photography was great! They set the customer service bar so high it was difficult to find other vendors that could match it (causing us to almost walk out of our cake testing). It was easy to get a hold of them by email, phone, text, or over margaritas. Their pricing was on point w/ other photographers & while we could've found a cheaper option, we know the service & experience we received could only have been w/ Rich & Ash.

Having 2 photographers allowed us to catch almost every moment. The best man thought it was a little 1-sided & maybe Rich should take some photos of the bride (not realizing Ash was w/ the bride). They were like part of the wedding party. Rich & Ash didn't miss a thing during the ceremony – 1 guest commented how they were like ninjas, 1 moment creeping low in the aisle, the next looking down out a 2nd floor window. Group photos went quickly & smoothly thanks to pre-planning by Rich & Ash. Our guests enjoyed a photo lounge we set up w/ Pizzuti. It was a huge success & we have hundreds of photos of guests having fun w/ props rather than boring table photos. Their photos chronicle our entire wedding at Willowdale including our sparkler send off, which we used for our thank you cards.

The next day Rich & Ash emailed a few photos from the wedding. Photo lounge pics were up 2 days later & not even a week later Rich emailed to let us know they had completed our wedding & all photos were available online for viewing & sharing. It wasn't long until we received all photos on a USB drive. We're still working on albums - but that delay is on us, it's so hard to choose w/ so many amazing photos!

Rich and Ash were awesome to work with right from our first introductory phone call. They came highly recommended from a photographer friend who used to work in the Boston area. They were straight forward, attentive to detail, super organized, and just plain fun to work with. Somehow on our wedding day, we had a lot of extra time between taking pictures before the ceremony and the actual ceremony so the girls got to hang out with Ash and the guys got to hang out with Rich at the hotel. Felt like we had known them for a lot longer than just the wedding planning process. And, they got some great candids of everyone relaxing.

I love our photos. I love them more every time I look at them again. They're classic and fun, nothing cheesy or too staged. They capture "us."

So many great things to say about Pizzuti Photography!! To start, both our engagement and wedding photos turned out absolutely AMAZING! Ashley and Rich are both super talented photographers and so much fun to work with!! On the day of our wedding Rich went along with the groom's men and Ashley stayed with the bridal party, allowing them to capture many special moments throughout the day. I am writing this review after recieving more of our wedding prints for framing. Each time I look at our photos I am struck by the moments captured, the light, the angles, the beauty of ordinary actions on an extraordinary day. Rich and Ashley are a highly capable team that fit into your day like family. They have so much expierience that they anticipate your needs. Suddenly you are handed a bottle of water when you are thirsty because "brides forget to drink water." When concern is showing on your face that the ceremony is not starting on time you suddenly hear "you know I've never shot a wedding where things started on time" and when there was a wardrobe malfunction it was the photographer who fixed it!! I guess what I'm saying is the pictures will be beyond your expectations, as a given, but as a team they will elevate your day. You will enjoy having them their there. Weddings come with a lot of tough decisions, but this one is easy and one you will not regret it. Congrats!

Ashley and Rich were so amazing to work with for my wedding. We had worked with them for family photos prior to my wedding and it was an easy decision who to hire. Having them both photograph our day meant that not a moment was missed. They both have such great personalities that it feels like having a couple other friends at the wedding and not vendors. We did our engagement shoot with Ashley and our wedding with both of them. Their professionalism and creativity make them the perfect choice for wedding photography. We had a photo booth set up at the wedding that they brought in a third photographer for so that we still had two taking pictures of the reception. They were so great at taking pictures and capturing every moment without us even noticing they were there. No big annoying camera flashes in your face all day. No interrupting your day to pose for unwanted pictures. Just great, creative in the moment pictures that show just how perfect our day was. I can't say enough good things about PIzzuti Photography. We used Pizzuti for our wedding last summer and could not rave enough about them! First off they are very competitive in pricing, which for the style we wanted was tough to figure out- things add up fast, I know. We chose to have engagement photos taken with them and we couldn't be happier we did. It allowed us to meet Rich and Ash and feel comfortable with them- which isn't hard at all. This husband and wife team made us feel very comfortable and they work so well together tagging in and setting up the next shot idea when the other was done. They are hilarious and really fun to be around (we did some photos in a pub and they stayed for a drink with us after the shoot) but more importantly their photos came out amazing!

Even more so for the wedding photos that we are in love with. I think it is important to point out that during the ceremony and reception we never once felt their presence, so we never felt like we were posing or being pulled away, and yet they did a great job of capturing the evening. They also have a lot of little fun extra surprises that I won't spoil, but just made us love them even more. Book them.

It's hard to choose a photographer for a wedding without being able to see a finished product. In the end we are very happy with the photos and so very grateful to Rich and Ash for capturing our day exactly how we had envisioned. We can't sing their praises enough and highly recommend Pizzuti Studios without any hesitation.

Rich and Ashley are an awesome team! It was important to us to have two full photographers to capture as many moments as possible during our day. The Pizzutis were perfect and delivered. Ashley did an amazing job staging my mother's house and getting incredible shots before the ceremony, as well as keeping a lot of ladies on schedule. Rich managed to get the reluctant groomsmen to cooperate at the hotel and get great shots - no easy feat. The pictures then from our ceremony, formals and reception are just perfect. I am still not sure how they got some of these angles- they are like ninjas! more importantly, they are both personable and professional, paying careful attention before and during the event to what WE wanted and ensuring everyone was on the same page. I loved working with them both and am excited to put together our album with their keen eye to help us.

Rich and Ashley not only offer some of the best photography around, but they are truly interested in helping to make your special day the best it can be. Rich spent extra time helping us to map out our day, and how to make the most of it, both in terms on photography and for our own personal enjoyment.

Because neither my wife or I had a hand in planning a wedding before, he helped to level our expectations to a realistic wedding, while ensuring that if there was something we wanted to see/have happen, he would do it. It was great to have an honest, experienced guide to help us maneuver through a very hectic day.

As for their work, it really speaks for itself. I was so impressed with the work they had done at a friends wedding that it was an automatic decision who would be doing mine. Photos are well thought out (even on the fly) and offer a dramatic flare that not all photographers are able to get. Whether candid or portrait style shots, they both have a keen eye for the right photo.

From our first contact, Pizzuti Studios were exceptionally easy to work with. Rainy weather kept derailing our engagement shoot plans, but Rich was super flexible about rescheduling. And when we finally got a sunny day, he helped us get comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Rich and Ash were prompt, prepared and just plain fun to be around. The Pizzutis were fantastic! We had a great time with Rich at our engagement session and it was a great opportunity to get used to being photographed. We went through our schedule for the wedding extensively with them in the weeks beforehand and everything was very well-planned. They were very amenable to our wishes and their experience with weddings really showed. Rich and Ashley Pizzuti were an absolute dream to work with. Our photos are fabulous and they were extremely flexible and easygoing. My fiance and I had two goals: one was to ensure we got access to the digital files from our wedding, and the other was to attain a documentary-style feel to our wedding photos - but in a flattering way. We absolutely attained both goals and then some. I felt like they were fully focused on our wedding from several weeks in advance right through the end of the night. We got several photos within 48 hours that we could share and a ton more a few days later. Their rate was incredibly reasonable - one of the lowest we found. I could not recommend them more highly!

Wedding planning is stressful, but working with the Pizzutis, I knew I did not have to worry about the photography. The sheer number of photographers to choose from can be overwhelming, and while I'm sure there are many talented professionals out there, I knew from the start that the Pizzutis were a great "fit" with what I was looking for. They were very responsive and open, able to adjust to our preferences, but always using their expertise and know- how to capture the best shots. Recently married themselves, they understand what goes into planning a wedding, and they were able to capture gorgeous pictures of meaningful details. My father (who rarely gives compliments), even commented that my photographers were completely on top of everything and knew what they were doing.
We did an engagement shoot with Rich and Ash, and highly recommend this to other couples. Rich and Ash made the shoot so fun, and the pictures were fantastic.

Working with Rich and Ashley was easy from the start. The initial meeting was comfortable and they are just so nice and friendly! Their galleries of pictures could sell themselves, but the price in their packages doesn't hurt either - definitely a good deal! They also did not ever pressure us to get a bigger photo package or to buy more prints or albums so the pricing was very comfortable for our budget.
My husband and I do not consider ourselves very photogenic so we scheduled our engagement session a bit close to the wedding so we could get some practice closer to the big day. They were so accommodating to picking a day and time, and it was nice to get in front of the camera to get comfortable with their style. As awkward as we felt they made us feel like a million bucks! We got our proofs back so quickly too.
On our wedding day we were feeling a bit behind schedule, but Rich & Ashley helped us still get in all the pre-ceremony shots we wanted without ever making us feel rushed. Several guests commented on how nice the photographers were, and that they blended in more like guests and were not the least bit invasive to the ceremony or reception. We enjoyed the wedding so much and within a couple of weeks (just as Rich and Ashley had estimated) we had our first batch of pictures. Just after that we had our proofs and could re-live all the fun memories. The pictures came out great and we really have a wide variety that truly captured all aspects of our big day.
Needless to say we would highly recommend Rich and Ashley to any couples out there looking to get some great pictures for a great price and work with two fun people along the way!

Pizzuti Studios is comprised of couple Rich and Ash, two trained photojournalists who are attentive to details. My husband and I enjoyed working with them during the three sessions - engagement, wedding, and rock the dress - and we are not fond of having our picture taken. They made the experience enjoyable with their fun sense of humor, easy conversation, and creativity; they were always punctual and never wasted our time. Rick and Ash asked our opinions about location preference and specific shots we wanted, pairing with their own standard shots and ideas invoked by the environment. Each takes pictures in his or her own way while the other helps set up shots; it was a nice balance. During out wedding, they blended right in with our guests, were polite and professional, and hardly stopped for the 8 hours they were with us. We appreciated that they backed up our photos in three different locations, one of which is off-site, and their website is easy to navigate and full of information necessary to choose photos and albums. They were an invaluable part of our wedding experience!

Rich and Ash are absolutely phenomenal to work with. The engagement session put us at ease for the wedding day. Our pictures are absolutely priceless. Everyone and I mean everyone can't stop talking about the photos. We can't wait for our final session--Rock the Dress!

Rich and Ashley are fantastic to work with! They are always available to talk via phone or e-mail and are open to your ideas as the client! We would definitely recommend having an engagement photo session with them to get to know them and you'll definitely be very comfortable on your wedding day! Rich and Ashley's attention to detail is amazing and it really shows in their work. We completely trusted that they would capture our wedding with their photography, and they truly did. All of our guests love the photos from our wedding- almost as much as we do! Now that we are married, we hope to continue to work with Rich and Ashley (the future Mr. & Mrs. Pizzuti =) ) for any of our professional photography needs in the future.

Ash & Rich were beyond amazing! I would hire them again in a heart beat.
I planned my wedding from Colorado, and had the ceremony in Gloucester MA, Ash & Rich were able to come meet me when I was in the area as well as helped with the planning etc. via email and phone contact. There was never a time that I felt stressed or worried about how my photography would come out, I always felt comfortable and knew that I could reach Ash or Rich at any time I needed.
As for the event day, both Ash & Rich were so wonderful to work with. They met with us and followed us from the hotel to the venue. They were prompt, attentive, well organized and professional!
Pizzuti Studios not only captured the moments of our wedding, but they have forever documented the emotions of the day! I can't find one photo I dislike out of the hundreds they took.
Absolutely amazing photographers and people!

I am so happy that we picked them; I love everything that I have seen! They are easy to get ahold of and easy to work with. We pretty much forgot they were there, yet the pictures that we have seen so far look awesome!

Because I have a little background in photography, I had a difficult time finding a photographer that suited my taste. My husband and I found Pizzuti Studios Photography at a bridal expo, and immediately were drawn to their professional display, their clean crisp prints and the honesty of their images. We met with them, and were delighted with their personalities and no-pressure approach. It was apparent that they are photographers because they love to be photographers, and that they enjoy being a part of the happiest days of peoples lives. Looking at their images, and knowing about photography, I was amazed at their skill to capture the 'realness' of the day and their talent in taking photos that require very little editing... in fact, I had to ASK if they edit their photos.

Ashley and Rich were wonderful to work with. They were sensitive to our needs and worked with me throughout my whole planning process. They work in a stress-free way that was a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of planning. They put in a lot of effort to make sure they knew our unusual venue: they went to the venue and learned about the area before the wedding so that they had great ideas and knew what environment they were working with. They also took the time to learn about the little details that my mother and i had worked hard to create, ensuring that they had the meaningful photos we wanted.

Our photographers listened to us and learned about the things that were important to us, and took pictures that proved it. They spent time to make sure that they had images of us with the important people we had mentioned, and worked to capture the uniqueness of of our wedding. They learned the names of the people involved in the wedding party and were quick to help with the little things that needed to be done last minute. Ashley photographed the girls getting ready, while Rich photographed the guys, and they fit right in. For me, Ashley turned into part of the wedding party. She helped me through a little panic attack, and helped adjust my dress. She was more than just someone taking pictures, she became a part of the process and the support that I needed.

My guests were very pleased with Pizzuti. I've heard nothing bu positive feedback from all our family and friends. The guests liked that the photographers took pictures on request, and some of the guests asked me to keep them on for extra time in order to take additional family portraits. Of course they were flexible and happily stayed until we had all of the guests requests taken care of. The guests found their website easy to navigate, and the images were up for viewing as soon as we got back from our honeymoon!

The only problem that I've had with Pizzuti is that I love all of the pictures so much I've found it difficult to narrow them down! I recommend Pizzuti Studios to anyone who is looking for great quality photography with the ease of personal service. I look forward to working with Rich and Ashley again as we begin our family.

We made the perfect choice when we decided to have Pizzuti Studios (Rich & Ashley) as our photgraphers. They came as a recommendation and they will be recommended many more times by us. Not only did they take photos for us, they became part of the wedding, they completly fit in with our friends and family and helped keep things rolling smoothly. My favorite part of what Ashley did for us girls was take the hair elastics off our wrists, its details that make the difference and this is something so small but would have been so annoying in our photos. They did a great job tweaking each person in the photos and capturing other photos when no one knew they were looking. Pizzuti Studios was our first and only choice and we can not wait to go back for kid pics!

The minute we met with Rich and Ashley, we were convinced that they were the ones we wanted to go with. They were extremely friendly, very easy going, very accommodating and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we wanted.
The new website they have is incredibly user friendly and displays all the pictures with such clarity and makes everything very easy to keep track of and order.
Not to mention that the slideshow that they surprised us with after our wedding made my wife cry (with happiness) like she did on our wedding day ( I will admit I teared up a bit as well :) )
I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a photographer for any event.

We had booked a photographer, who cancelled a few months before our wedding. Our venue, then, highly recommended Pizzuti Studios. We couldn't be more thankful for the recommendation. Something that Ashley & Rich said upon meeting them, made us so comfortable and couldn't be a more truthful statement about the way their company works... "We won't treat you any differently than we treat our friends." Their personal approach to photography and attention to detail are most refreshing. We are extremely pleased with the beautiful quality of our engagement and wedding photos. Ashley and Rich always went beyond our expectations to accomodate us. They are punctual, professional, perfectionists with amazing talent. We continue to be thoroughly impressed each time we look at our photos. Our friends and family haven't stopped admiring and complimenting our on-line gallery and gorgeous prints. My husband and I are so happy that we invested in our photography.

Rich and Ashley were great! From our first meeting to picking up the prints in time for the holidays- they were flexible and able to meet our needs. The wedding day itself was flawless and we have the great memories that they captured to remember it with!
