This review has been a long time coming. Last year we celebrated our wedding and we had Pizzazz's string quartet plus harp perform during the welcome entrance for our guests as they were being dropped off at the venue, as well as during our ceremony and a 1.5 hour cocktail "hour". They came all the way to The Berkshires in Massachusetts. They were very gracious and we were able to pick all the meaningful, funny and important songs for us and songs that would make everyone smile, plus we made some special requests. Some of those needed the quartet to play with the harp, but they were so kind and wonderful to create the music sheet for that. All... -

We didn’t have a lot of money in the budget for this, and had originally thought we would just use the keyboard player from our reception band to play solo for the ceremony. However, my husband and I are both musicians and felt very strongly about what we wanted our ceremony to sound like. Pizzazz Strings was priced reasonably enough that we were able to hire a string trio. Their repertoire include many more contemporary selections, which exactly what we had in mind. They did all the songs we requested and sounded lovely. I’m just sorry I never had a moment to thank them in person! -

For pizzaz strings we went with the trio. Our overall wedding theme was classic with a twist. Andrea was very responsive and accommodating during the planning process. We heard nothing but great feedback from our guests regarding what was played and how they played it. We wanted to enjoy all of the songs they played but unfortunately we were running behind schedule with pictures so we missed cocktail hour, however, our guests mentioned they loved the music selection, especially the Thong song. The groom had his own entrance at the ceremony and came down to Still by Dre which got everyone excited and off their seat. It was perfect just like we envisioned it. Amy Sent on 07/05/2018I hired Pizzazz Strings to perform at my June 2018 wedding (ceremony and cocktail reception) I first spoke with Andrea back in the fall of 2017 and was impressed with her from the start. Andrea is responsive to emails and is so very helpful - offering guidance along the way.
About 3 weeks before the wedding my fiance asked if we could add a custom arrangement which was not on their extensive music list. The song we chose did not have sheet music available but Andrea assured me that they would be able to transcribe and arrange the song by ear! The fee for the custom arrangement was reasonable (and a great value!) and we were so...Pizzazz Strings's reply:

I hired a string trio from Pizzazz Strings to play during my wedding ceremony and was so glad I did! Not only was it so cool to have live, classical music as I walked down the aisle, but all the guests loved it too! This was a great way to set the mood for such an important time in our lives. Andrea was great to work with and always responded quickly. I could really tell she cares for her musicians and also wants to ensure their customers are happy. They have a wide range of musical selections they can perform, from classical to hip hop to jazz classics. I highly recommend hiring Pizzazz Strings for live string music at your special event!
