I can’t say enough good things about PIXIEWED. From the moment we booked them, they were on top of everything—sending emails with wedding planning tips, helpful reminders, and even a suggested timeline for our videography needs. As someone who was completely overwhelmed with planning, this was such a blessing. On the big day, they were calm, kind, and so professional. They used small mics to get perfect audio of our vows and ceremony, and the drone shots turned out absolutely magical. They were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, and never missed a moment—from happy tears to spontaneous laughter. Everyone raved about how lovely the team was. Our video was delivered in just under four weeks, and we cried watching it. PIXIEWED captured our love so beautifully. -

From the very beginning, they were so communicative—sending helpful emails every other week that made our planning smoother. On the day of the wedding, they were nothing short of amazing. They helped ease our nerves, coordinated with our photographer, and made sure we were always comfortable. They placed small microphones on us and the officiant, and the result was flawless audio throughout our ceremony and speeches. The drone captured our venue from above and gave us the most beautiful perspective we never got to see that day. Our guests kept asking who they were because they loved them so much. I can’t recommend PIXIEWED enough. Their communication before the wedding made me feel so confident and at ease. Every couple of weeks, they sent us planning tips that helped us get ready, and it was obvious they cared about getting the details right. On our wedding day, the team was wonderful—calm, organized, and always in the right place at the right time. They mic’d us so that the ceremony audio was absolutely flawless, even during the wind. The drone shots made our small backyard venue look like something out of a romantic film. Everyone kept asking who they were because they were so friendly and professional. Melvin and his team are incredible. Very patient, professional, prompt in all communication, and knowledgeable. From start to finish, he was thorough and organized. He remained available for all of my questions and always made time to take a call if needed. He captured my wedding day perfectly and reminded me of all the best moments of the day. Very happy with the quality of our photos and video. Highly recommend! -

I’m getting married in November and we took our engagement photos in Houston Tx and Melvin was awesome. We were excited and felt very comfortable with the entire experience. The photos were stunning and I can’t wait to see how our wedding photos will look. I also found this company at an expo and never got any weird vibes from them. They are well at keeping the line of communication open. 10/10. We loved Melvin. -

We had a fantastic experience with Pixiewed. Quality photos were in my top 3 most important things for my wedding. Melvin was very responsive during the planning process. I had Dalia and Alberto as the photographers for my wedding and they were fantastic! They arrived on time and got right to work shooting the details photos. They made the posed portraits quick and easy (neither of us have much patience for posed photos). I also had asked for a lot of candid photos of our guests and they delivered! All of my photos turned out amazing! Even the unedited ones are gorgeous on their own! Melvin did a fantastic job editing our photos and we got them back 5 DAYS after the wedding! I would highly recommend Pixiewed. Thank you so much for capturing our wedding! -

Photography was the most important things to me and choosing Pixiewed was the best choice I could of made. Melvin is AMAZING!!!!! I literally LOVE HIM!!! He guided my husband and I through taking photos, send me pictures ideas of what to wear for our engagement pictures, has a long list of locations to take pictures at. I was such a difficult bride but he truly had all the patience in the world with me. He was not only my photographer, but my psychologist. He was by my side throughout the wedding the whole time!!!! He ate when I was eating which was like 15 mins and then came back and got every picture I told him I wanted. Besides the venue, my guest always bring up how awesome my photography and videography was!! No one ever stops talking about the drone and how cool it was to have that at my wedding. I am very indecisive and he gave me an honest opinion about everything. I was extremely picky with everything and he always found time to work with me and to make me truly happy!!!!! I have so many bad things to say about all my other vendors, but not Pixiewed. BOOK THEM!!! You won't regret it! -

I hired Pixiewed for my wedding in February. Throughout the planning process Melvin was very professional and available to answer any questions that we had. Wedding week they emailed us to ensure that we were both on the same page. Wedding day, they communicated to me when they were on their way and even arrived before their scheduled time to begin getting drone footage. As soon as we arrived to the venue they begin getting all of the shots I requested and I could tell it was very important to them to get all of the shots that we asked for. With a very large group of groomsmen and bridesmaids, the team was able to heavily direct us, which is what we needed to keep everyone in line and ensure the shots get captured, while still keeping it fun! Shorty after getting home from our honeymoon we were prepared to wait another month at least to receive content as people do before their photos are ready. HOWEVER, Melvin surprised us with our wedding video and a social media teaser after only one week! Again, he texted to let us know he emailed it to us to ensure we would not miss it and already had the links to all the different formats we might need. Then, less than another week later he surprised us again with all of our edited wedding photos! He got all the shots we asked for and more. They were stunning! And our wedding video captured all of the sweet moments of our day. When sending us the raw photos and videos, he again notified us and gave us all the tracking information. Lastly, they wanted to ensure we were completely satisfied and offered to make any adjustments to the editing of the videos and photos but it was not necessary because everything was already perfect. I highly recommend Pixiewed because they are extremely affordable, professional, great at communicating, and most of all talented! Thank you Pixiewed for capturing our day and giving us photos and videos to look back on for generations. -

Hiring Melvin for our wedding photography was the best decision we could’ve made and he was definitely our favorite vendor on our big day. Melvin not only spent 10 hours the day-of shooting our wedding, but also took our engagement photos and my bridal portraits. All of his work turned out absolutely beautiful and I will treasure it forever. I also have to commend him for his quick turnaround time and prompt communication. We received all of our wedding photos within one month and all of the engagement and bridal photos within a week. Thank you, Melvin!! -

He was personable, easy to talk to, and listen to my preferences (and it goes without saying that he's very talented, anyone who looks through his portfolio can see that for themselves). I asked him to give everyone a lot of direction, as we are not very photogenic, and he did exactly that. The result was a batch of magnificent photos to remember the day. If I ever have another event that I need a photographer for, Melvin Gilbert will be my #1 choice, hands down.
