    We were so lucky to find Pittsburgh Wedding Rentals ! Terri and her staff were fantastic!! We rented beautiful gold overlays that were spectacular. The gold 39" and gold 30" candelabras were stunning. Thank you, thank you, thank you Terri and Pittsburgh Wedding Rentals!

    The reception venue could not have been more elegant. My daughter's reception was a dream come true and they played an important part in the evening by giving my daughter's night to remember. They were professional all the way and they were prompt to respond to all of my needs. I could not have been more pleased. I would definitely recommend them!

    It was amazing to work with Terry. She answered all my questions answered all my phone calls as well as emails. She's a very busy person so brides have to understand it may be alittle to answer but if you understand you'll be very happy at the end. Everything I want to anymore

    We booked Fab Not Drab for our wedding on 1.25.14. Working with Terri was awesome....She met with me on numerous occasions to review color and fabric swatches to make sure all the small details were covered :) She has beautiful linens and I recommend them to make your reception look GORGEOUS! We rented table runners, crystal candelabras& chair sashes. Her prices are very reasonable and she even sets up!!.... She came to the wedding venue days before to set up and did a fantastic job! We had so many compliments on the wedding décor!! Book HER!!

    We rented chair covers, uplighting, and specialty skirting from Terri and had a wonderful experience! She helped us "design" our wedding and transform the banquet room into a beautiful reception.

    Different colors and stains!

    Terri came recommended to me by my caterer, all was good and well leading up to the wedding until they were awful at communicating with me. They showed up the day before they told me they were going to and hung all the covers over the backs of the chairs (in an open air venue) and they all ended up on the floor. so we ended up putting them on the chairs to prevent them from getting dirty. as we were putting them on we realized she had given us 2-3 different FABRICS of chair covers which were consequently different colors. we also found over 30 heavily stained covers doing this and when we approached her about it she stopped answering our phone calls. She then showed up the morning of our wedding when we were not there and put the soiled chair covers we had pulled out back on the chairs as if we would not notice...until my chair ( the BRIDE) had a huge stain on the back above the sash that ended up showing in my photos. I would not recommend them at all! totally unprofessional!

    I used Terri for linens and centerpieces.
    Her products and the quality of them are very nice but I was very disappointed in her services. She was terrible to get a hold of in the beginning. She kept saying she mailed samples to me in the mail but then they never came and when I asked her about them and why I hadn't received them yet she told me to find someone else to decorate for my wedding which was less than 2 months away. She did still end up doing my decorations which did look gorgeous but she forgot to decorate 2 tables and the bar. I Texted her when I noticed this the morning of my wedding and my matron of honor called her as well. She never responded to either one of us so my reception Hall Contact Person called her because I had to get to the church and Terri took awhile to return her call and then told her she wouldn't be coming back to finish the job because she was at another event. I asked her to refund me the money for the things I has paid her to decorate and she refused and now claims she is going to file a law-suit against my husband and I because she states that my florist did damage to her centerpieces but when my florist offered to come down and reassemble and look at the centerpieces to see what kind of supposed damage was done. Terri rudely yelled at her on the phone and told her to "forget it" then hung up on her. I would not recommend Terri she is rude and not reliable.
    Terri also has sent me multiple emails saying that she has won lawsuits in the past suing couples, this must be something she does to newlyweds.

    Pittsburgh Wedding Rentals's reply:

    This client is being sued for damages to candelabra bases. The florist was informed on the simple method to attach an odapter to a base but chose to drill thru a plate disassemble the bases and cause water damage. The florist was notfiied at 9am and given until 4pm to correct the damage, which she did not The client, Sara, was notified with the contractual terms. The arrangements were obviously made by a part time florist.

    As for the skirting, the client canceled a skirt one week before the wedding and was charged for the rental according to the contract terms. The hotel did not have the other table set up when we left from the set up. I was in constant contact with the banquet manager regarding the skirting, and offered to deliver about 3pm. The bride also ordered lighting for this table, but failed to confirm this with the venue who denied an electrical cord due to safety reasons. According to the banquet manager, the client had two tables for cookies, but a very sparse amount. The banquet manager removed one of the cookie tables and placed the skirting on the guest book table not to embarrass the bride with the small amount of cookies.

    The bride ordered two swags to be placed on the portable bars. I discussed this with the banquet manager on the friday before the reception. The banquet manager said that the hotel drapes the bar fronts, so she did not permit us to decorate with the swags. Per the contract, it is the client's responsibility to confirm with the venue any rental placements.

    This bride is being sued for $1986 in damages. She was offered a settlement of $175, but has continuously refused to pay for the damages. As of today, this civil action is in the court system and the bride will be sued for the full amount.

    The bride failed to confirm the chair cover count and pay within the contractual terms. As a courtesy, I waived the charges for 14 chair covers and a $35 per day late fee (times 3 days).

    Terrible terrible customer service. Was recommended by my cake baker to her for a cake stand rental because they work at Shakespeare's together often. She was very nice and talkative initially, I really did like her.. But she fools you until she gets a contract. I needed a drink bartender for my home bridal shower and she said she would have one at a discounted rate of $95 for the whole evening 3-10pm because I rented my cake stand from her. I never heard from her and it was the week of the shower and I called repeatedly to verify and it took days to contact her. I finally texted her pleading for a reply just wanting to know if she has a bartender. She simply replied back " I cant get one at that rate". I called her to ask what rate she can get one then if thats the issue but I didnt even get a call back or a reply from the text. I told my wedding coordinator and told the baker who recommended her about this, and my coordinator suggested that I do not interact with her again and to let my baker coordinate everything with her so I did. 2 days before the wedding I get an email saying nothing is set in stone until I send a $150 security deposit. I paid for the cake stand immediately and she never asked for it until 2 days before. My cake baker told me everything was set and not to worry Terri is giving her the cake stand at Shakespeare's and Terri would pick it up the day after the wedding because she would already be in the area. On my extended honeymoon I checked for the security deposit refund and it was not there, I emailed her on a Sun. I still did not get a reply by Thur so I followed up. She refunded only $100 of the security deposit because she said it was a pickup /delivery and referred me to the contract. So I did not coordinate the pick up and delivery and Im getting charged for it. I sent a long email telling her how terrible my experience has been and I wont pay for the $50 and she replied back referring me to the contact. Look at knot reviews.

    Pittsburgh Wedding Rentals's reply:

    We have a signed legal contract from this client regarding a cake stand rental that states that a $50 round trip fee will be due for delivery/pick up. This $50 was deducted from the security deposit. This client did discuss hiring a bartender in April for a June 25th event, but never proceeding in requesting a contract for that service. She contacted us June 22nd and asked for a bartender at the $95 rate. We stated that we did not have anyone available at that late notice, but we could help her find someone whose rate is $125. She said she would not pay for someone to stand around. We referred her to another company. This client was late in returning the cake stand contract, late in booking a bartender, and late in making arrangements for a rental pick up for the cake stand. She is blaming PWR for her shortcomings. She has been issued a Cease & Desist from our attorney.
