We planned our wedding for approximately 50 guests which includes our grandkids between the ages of 2 through 7. Michaela from the Cranberry Marriott her and her team came together and exceeded our expectations from the day we met her to book the venue to the end of our wedding. It was our lucky day we had more room for our Union than expected. Having everything in one location helped our guests which the majority was from out of town. We held a welcome party in the hotel restaurant and it was a wonderful meet and greet for all who flew in and drove from out of town. Having rooms blocked for us was such a convenient for us and our guests. The staff was very helpful and professional from beginning to end. They made our special day very, very, very special. Side note we drove a minute away from the hotel to get some outdoors photo. I truly recommend the hotel for your wedding package especially if you're from out of town like we were.

Would definitely recommend using the Pittsburgh Marriott North as your wedding reception venue! The entire staff was so nice and accommodating. We got so many compliments on the gorgeous setup of the room and even more compliments on how fantastic the food was. We also utilized the conference room given to us for getting ready in the morning with hair and makeup which was absolutely perfect. We then used it to hang out in before the reception and were able to keep all belongings there overnight. The room was stocked with water, pop, wine, and beer and also had a full length mirror and large private bathroom. Would highly recommend this Marriott for your wedding!

The Marriott in Cranberry is amazing. We used them for our wedding room block and after party. The rooms were recently redesign and are gorgeous! They prices were great for guests, and because of the amount of rooms booked, they gave us a suite (2 bathrooms, 1 living room, 1 bedroom) for a huge discount AND one night free – it was the PERFECT space for all the girls to get ready in and have hair and makeup done. Our original plan was to have our after party at the bar-restaurant in the lobby, but pandemic restrictions kept it from staying open and limited capacity. Things worked out better than expected because they held two private boardrooms with mini kitchens for free and for the entire weekend! We preordered food to be delivered Saturday night, and setup all the supplies we brought so they were ready when we got there after the wedding – we kept the party going until morning. The space and the hotel were absolutely perfect for everything we needed!

We could not have asked for a better wedding! Gina and the entire staff bent over backwards to make our night perfect! I would highly recommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North! The price is actually very reasonable as well!

We can't recommend Pittsburgh Marriott North enough. Gina and the Marriott staff were so great to work with and were very responsive to every little request we had. Setting up the tasting, holding meetings, and contacting Gina was convenient and stress-free. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly. The reception hall looked exactly like we dreamed it would. Also, the food was amazing - from the appetizers at cocktail hour to the reception entrees! We received countless compliments from our guests about the food and the overall reception. We are very grateful we chose Pittsburgh Marriott North for our special day.

My husband and I had our reception at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in April and we cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily, Joe, and the entire staff. From the very beginning, Emily was kind, patient, and quick to answer any questions we had. I had MANY different ideas and she was always welcoming and offered her opinions and solutions on how to make them happen. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I felt like I was emailing her every day with different questions and even throughout the entire planning process she was always quick to respond and never made it seem like I was burdening her. Her responses were always detailed and she made sure to completely answer each one of my questions. My husband and I drew diagrams and made lists on how things should be setup that day, but with Joe as our day-of coordinator, we had NOTHING to worry about. He was extremely organized and detail-oriented and everything was setup just as we had envisioned. On top of all of that, we had many compliments from our guests on the food (it was delicious!), the service, and the entire evening. We had around 300 guests and needed the entire ballroom. There was plenty of space for people to move around and not feel cramped. We also held a brunch at the Marriott the next morning with around 80 guests. Emily had no problem reserving a smaller section of the ballroom which worked out perfectly. Our day could not have been more perfect and we cannot thank the Marriott staff enough. We HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couple looking for a location for their wedding.

The venue was the first decision that my husband and I made as we started to plan our wedding. We decided to get married within the year and luck would have it, the Pittsburgh Marriott North had a Saturday in September available. From the very beginning, Emily Stas was excellent!! She was extremely responsive, provided guidance, and kept us on track through the whole planning process. As we neared the day of, Emily and the entire staff at the Marriott were amazing. Joe kept the whole night flowing perfectly, keeping us informed of the status of the ceremony and reception starting. Melissa was attentive and on her game! We had a number of people tell us afterwards how wonderful the staff was--noticing things that we, as the bride and groom, did not. The room was beautiful and having everything taken care for us so we could just enjoy the night was the best! On top of all of that, the food was delicious--tons of compliments on this as well! This was easily one of the best and easiest decisions we made after looking at a couple different locations within Pittsburgh. I can't speak highly enough for this venue and if you are looking for a location, check them out!!

If I could relive my wedding day I would choose Pittsburgh Marriott North again and again. From our first meeting with Emily Stas to the next morning brunch everything was perfect.
Quick response time, great food, great hotel rate for our guests, outstanding customer service. Everything was perfect. Even the brunch the next day exceeded my expectations with a beautiful fruit tray, fresh scrambled eggs, and our leftover cookies displayed into a "mini" cookie table.
Front desk staff was great, banquet managers were awesome, everything was perfect!

We had our wedding at the Pittsburgh Marriott North this past April 2017. I couldn't have picked a better venue!! Emily Stas Is who I worked with throughout the entire planning process and she is absolutely amazing, such a sweetheart, truly cares about what she's doing and she's very good at it. When you put all this time and money into your wedding you expect the best and they did not disappoint. I went into my day without any worries and everything went great. Not one issue. The Marriott staff that worked that day was amazing as well!!! They helped make it all come together, made sure it went smoothly, put up my decor and added a few little touches to make it even better!! The FOOD!!! I wish I personally got to eat more , if only we had more time :) ...but the guests raved about it !! Some even said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Everyone continued to tell me after how good it was and they were still full the next day from eating so much !! I truly can't say enough nice things about the Marriott. I am so happy we had or wedding there and would recommend everyone to go there!!

Your hotel helped my wife realize her dream wedding in just a matter of a few days of planning. The total wedding was about 200 people, and your hotel was not booked until the final week!! The coordinator was very helpful and accommodating! Not only did she help pull together the details of the ceremony and the reception in RECORD TIME, but she was also willing to go the extra mile to ensure the additional details were in place. Our whole family was very blessed to have this experience at your hotel. ALL of your staff were friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile. From the Valet Parking guys, all the way to the servers taking care of the wedding. I've been to a lot of weddings in my lifetime, and never have I been so impressed with the level of professionalism and KINDNESS that I experienced at your hotel. I will recommend you to others, and if I am ever in need of a location to have an event, I will definitely keep your hotel in mind! Thank you from the Groom and My Bride!

Emily Stas was amazing throughout the whole process - she always emailed back quickly and was eager to help us make our wedding day truly unique. Perfect venue for the ceremony with the uplighting provided, and we have heard that our wedding food was the best people ever had. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel reception. Our guests loved that everything was at the same venue - especially in cold, snowy January!

The event coordinator, Emily Stas, was one of the best people to work with. She is responsive, professional, and caring. We felt confident that if we wanted something or changed something, that it would get completed and we did not have to worry or fuss about it. The Marriot also coordinates flowers and cake, limiting our interaction with various vendors which is time consuming, expensive, and sometimes confusing. The Maitre d' coordinated the evening with our band and our DJ, and everything went smoothly. A delicious buffet dinner was served to nearly 370 guests in 23 minutes at 4 buffet tables, without any confusion. The cocktail hour was energetic, there were more than enough servers, the appetizers were delicious, and there was an abundant amount of food and alcohol. The alcohol was served from 3 bars the entire evening, with quick service.

My husband and I used the Pittsburgh Marriott North for our ceremony and room block. The service we received from Kate and Emily throught planning process was amazing! They were patient with us, quick to respond to emails and phone calls and overall just made us feel completely comfortable with all of the decisions we made. We had a lot of questions throughout the process and they made themselves available for it all!
The day of the rehearsal and ceremony we met with Brian, the banquet manager. He made sure everything was smooth and stress free for me. He handled everything professionally and promptly. I cannot say enough amazing things about him! We had a lot of out of town guests come in for the weekend and everyone commented on how well everything ran.
I would highly recommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North for your wedding ceremony! I'm sure the reception would be just as wonderful, unfortunately we already booked our reception venue before visiting the Pittsburgh Marriott North.

Words can't even begin to describe what an amazing experience I had from the moment I began planning my reception. Kate and her team are absolutely incredible, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. Never did I imagine my wedding reception would be absolutely PERFECT with not one thing going wrong the entire evening. Kate answered every question not only from myself, but my mother and even mother-in-law with pleasure. The amount of care they took with setting up the reception perfectly was noted not only with myself as the bride but the outpouring of compliments we received all night. I could go on for days about what a great experience this was, so go check out the Pittsburgh Marriott North for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

I had a wonderful wedding at the Pittsburgh Marriott North! All employees were nice, professional, and courteous. The ballroom was beautiful and looked even better than I could have imagined. The food was absolutely exceptional. I didn't have anything to worry about as my wedding day approached because I knew they could handle it. Great experience, friendly and accommodating staff!

The Marriott North was an excellent venue for our wedding! Kate worked with us to make sure our wedding had everything we wanted! Brian and the rest of the staff were very attentive and really friendly! They made sure we did not have to worry about anything during our reception. The food was amazing and the ballroom was beautiful. We would recommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding venue!

We had my daughter's wedding at the Marriott in May. Honestly, I cannot think of a negative things to say. They did not have ivory chair covers, so we rented our linens; but they reimbursed us $5/person.

Kate was always responsive and supportive; and Brian was great the night of the event. Perhaps the two best things about the venue were the delicious food and the availability of rooms for guest who wanted to stay over.

Every detail was handled with expertise. I can't recommend this venue high enough! Believe me I am critical and honest when it comes to reviews. I would say this venue is mid-range pricing, but well worth it.

My daughters wedding reception @ the Marriott North was everything and more. Kate was wonderful to work with. All our questions were answered in a timely manner, and the vendors they suggested were wonderful.Brian was great to work with during the reception. He and the staff were very professional, continually checking with us to make sure everything was going well. Our guests, following the wedding, told us how great the reception was, the food, and the brunch the following morning. I would recommend the Marriott North for any event, but if I had another daughter and she was getting married, this is were I would hold the reception.

Our daughter Cindy described her wedding as " perfect" and " the best day of her life". To us ( her parents ), that was the ultimate report card on her wedding. Many vendors and people contributed to the success of the event and the Pittsburgh Marriott North would be at the top of the list of contributors. Kate Knecht coordinated the event and was an absolute delight with whom to work. From the very beginning, she made our family very comfortable with her positive attitude and responsiveness to our many questions. She has excellent knowledge of the vendors in the area and provided excellent recommendations to us. She is an active listener and she paid attention to all the details regardless of how small they may have been. In a word, she was "outstanding." We thoroughly enjoyed working with her throughout the several months of the planning process. Kate was supported by excellent banquet managers ( Brian and Samantha) who were at the wedding and handled all aspects of the ceremony and reception in an outstanding manner. Bartenders and staff were all positive contributors to the wedding. We had very high expectations of the Marriott and they were all exceeded!

The Marriott North was the perfect place for my New Year's Eve wedding. The staff were all so accommodating throughout the entire process! I didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day of my wedding; they took care of every last detail. My husband and I did a "first look" of the ballroom before our guests were allowed in; it was more beautiful than I had imagined!
We also added an extra mid-night buffet, and the food (from the cocktail hour until mid-night) was fantastic! My guests are still talking about what a great wedding it was! Thank you Jenn and the Pittsburgh Marriott North for making my wedding everything I hoped for!

Renee was great! She was very responsive to all of my requests. The service on the day of my wedding was excellent. They made my wedding day wonderful! Also, my cake was included in the reception package. It was awesome! They had many designs and flavors to choose from. We had a square, white cake with white buttercream icing and raspberry filling. Yummy!

My wife and I had a great experience with this business. They were very flexible with our changing ideas and plans for our wedding, and always extremely responsive to our questions. I strongly recommend this venue to any of my immediate friends in the area looking for a reception location. The price was slightly higher than other similar options in the area, but I wouldn't hesitate to pay it again for the quality of service and professionalism that we received.

The Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry was a great venue for our wedding reception. The ballroom and hotel lobby (where our cocktail hour was held) have been renovated within the past five years and are beautiful and updated. The wedding planning and banquet staff was great – friendly, accommodating, and experienced. They were able to anticipate and meet all of our needs. We worked with Michaella for our planning and she was very professional, responsive, and really cared about the quality of our event. She even showed up at our reception to make sure that everything was running smoothly. The food was delicious and our guests felt very comfortable and had a good time the entire night. The Marriott is a great place to hold your wedding celebration!

Emily was amazing to work with--quick to respond and made great suggestions. We chose them because of their flexibility with the menu, which they did not deliver as we agreed upon. The head chef and general manager were not apologetic nor quick to rectify the problem. However, Emily was amazing and I would recommend them to other brides.

Everything was wonderful & Kate was great to work with!! Highly recommend the Marriott.

We felt the atrium for the cocktail reception between 5:30 - 6:30 PM was too warm. We realize that it was a hot and humid summer day, but the room was very warm. Even the hallways of the hotel were very warm and uncomfortable.
We were unhappy with our room reservations, too. We requested a suite and were told that none were available, only to find out after the wedding that one of our guests received a suite upgrade, when we specifically requested a suite when we booked the reception 10 months prior.
We also found the check in process that day very, very slow. We reserved a total of 3 room; 2 with our Marriott points and one that was given to us when we booked the reception. However, only 2 reservations were found upon check in. This caused us a long delay.
One additional comment, it would be a nice addition for you to make arrangements for a wedding cake. Many other venues we explored included a cake. We were able to make arrangements for a wedding cake, but would have appreciated it, if it was included within the package.
However, all in all, we were very happy with the venue and enjoyed the reception.

The event coordinator, Renee, was wonderful! We liked her from the moment we met her. The Pittsburgh Marriott North is a beautiful hotel with perfect features for a wedding. Our wedding was on a Friday and we got a 15% discount for doing so. The food was wonderful, and the cake was also included from Mimi's Bake Shoppe in Cranberry. Chair covers were also included, ladies!! The entire process was great and went very smoothly. The staff was great the day of the event. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

When we were originally considering the venue in 06/2012, we had toured the facility and were considering a particular date. Nobody told us we could "hold" the date for any period. We decided over the next week to go ahead and book, but when we called, the date we wanted had been taken by another couple. We had to move to another date which resulted in a much more expensive wedding for us. Otherwise, our planning/event went great.

This was an excellent place to have a wedding reception.

The food was incredible. Many of our guests made it a point to tell us how much they enjoyed the quality of service from the moment they arrived.

There were very few logistical snags for the big day and we were pleased with the overall service.

Our only complaint is the lack of professionalism that the Marriott had when dealing with our guests from out of town. There were a lot of complaints about the Room Reservation process. People were charged multiple times for multiple rooms that they didn't occupy. There were more headaches involved in getting refunds than there were for the actual wedding planning.

Pricey venue but the package deal will save a lot of headaches!

I have a hard time rating the Marriott. The ratings for their performance in the year leading up to the wedding are much lower than the ratings for the day of the wedding-- which would really be like 4.5/5.0. We dealt with two different wedding coordinators in the time leading up to the wedding, and I liked both of them. We did have a contract issue that was a pain to deal with, and the general manager of the hotel was not very flexible (nor very pleasant). They have a stringent cancellation policy, and I would not recommend this venue to someone who has the possibility of a military deployment that could interfere with the wedding date. I did finally contact someone higher up in the company, and we were able to work out the issue. In addition, in dealing with the bill, there were a few issues that came up; they were dealt with promptly and without issue. I just didn't like that I felt I had to double check on everything that came through instead of it just being done correctly the first time around (again, this is only with regard to things leading up to the wedding).

The day of the wedding, everything was perfect. They were wonderful, responsive, and happy to help with anything that we needed. The food was delicious, the bartenders were very professional and friendly, and the Banquet Coordinator (Samantha) was amazing. She handled everything that came up before I even thought about it. All in all, I am glad that we had both the ceremony and reception there; everyone had a great time, and the coordinators and other employees of the hotel were fantastic. We had a blast.

Place is beautiful. Gave us a complimentary room. Pricey (but we did not cater from them). If you have different favors for different tables, they may mess them up. They did for us.
