The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was the perfect venue for us. Jeannie and her team made our reception absolutely magical! The Marriott made sure that we got the celebration of our dreams. They made the planning process so smooth and easy, and every last detail was taken care of. Our reception went flawlessly and our maitre d Amy was so helpful and kind and made sure that everything was taken care of for us. It is clear that Jeannie truly cares about every single one of her brides and wants their day to be special. I would 100% recommend this venue to other couples.

Thank you so much Jeannie and to the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott team for making our day so special and fabulous! From the initial planning meetings, to the countless phone calls, to the rehearsal, to the actual wedding day - every single aspect of our wedding was handled with so much love and care. Jeannie and the Airport Marriott staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our day absolutely perfect. Like many couples, we had a few COVID complications, ours being with our church where the ceremony was to be held. We had to move our entire ceremony over to the Marriott about 3 months before our day. However, with a stressful situation like that, we could not have felt more supported by Jeannie and the Marriott team. They were patient, diligent, and so creative with making our ceremony (& reception) come to life. I cannot stress enough how wonderful every staff member was throughout our entire wedding process. If you are considering a wedding at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriot - we HIGHLY recommend! You will NOT be disappointed!!

We started planning our 2021 wedding in 2019 then COVID happened. Throughout 2020 I was less stressed than most brides because there is no other person, Jeannie, or venue I would trust to handle our wedding with all the restrictions that even carried on from 2020 to 2021. Jeannie makes the planning process so easy. Day of, everything was perfect, they did a wonderful job decorating with the items we brought and their own. All the food was delicious (although I was disappointed that most of the bridal party missed out on the Risotto Balls and other apps we were looking forward to but we we plenty of the main meal.) Particully the 3 cheese tortellini with white wine shallot sauce is amazing. The brisket was delicious. Everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to! Thank you!

I truly don't even know where to start. To get married at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott is to become a part of their family. Jeannie and her incredible team guided us throughout our planning process, including becoming our personal advisors in all things COVID. Our wedding reception went from the Grand Ballroom to the parking lot, but our guests didn't know the difference because Jeannie, Rich, Amy, and all the amazing staff members made sure our wedding was exactly what we had envisioned. Their care and attention to detail cannot go unnoticed! Not to mention, the food was absolutely to die for. Our families had an amazing time and the general consensus is that our wedding was unforgettable! Thank you Pittsburgh Airport Marriott!

Absolutely phenomenal! You are truly in the best hands at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott with Jeannie Dankowski and staff. We started planning our wedding pre-COVID, and Jeannie was wonderful. She provided us with recommendations for vendors, of which we had absolutely terrific experiences with. Her guidance and knowledge of the wedding industry is absolutely amazing. Jeannie thinks of EVERYTHING and every detail is covered to make sure you have the smoothest and most beautiful wedding day. When COVID-19 hit, Jeannie was with us literally for every step, every restriction change and provided countless creative options for us to still have the wedding of our dreams while being in compliance with the restrictions. Jeannie never gave up on us and we do not know what we would have done without her. She answered every call, every question, every panic text and is one of the biggest blessings we could have asked for in 2020. Our wedding day was truly a dream come true and I would recommend anyone to have their wedding at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott!

I had an amazing, mermaid themed, bridal shower hosted by the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. Due to the pandemic, we had to move the location to outside, which worked out perfectly. All of the staff was amazing and very accommodating. The food was very delicious and everyone enjoyed all of the options. My shower was beautiful and more than I could have expected. I would highly recommend this venue for any bridal or event needs.

Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was actually the last venue we looked at and we loved it so much we went back twice to check it out. Jeannie is awesome; she's energetic, informative, and I feel like she'll help us do whatever we imagine. Jeannie treated me to a comped dinner and seriously the food is so great, I was surprised. The ballroom is HUGE and awesome.; neutral colors, simple, not outdated. The outdoor cocktail area is so cute! Bistro lights, a waterfall and a fire pit. The hotel package was just the best, it even included chairs/chair covers which so many of the locations I went to did not. They gave us 2 free room nights, tons of reward points, a "present." Just everything clicked. We love it and can't wait to have our reception there.

We hosted both our ceremony and reception over Memorial Day weekend at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriot. 225 Jeannie is the event coordinator at the Marriot and she brings with her over 25 years of experience. I spent about 18 months planning my wedding by the time the day arrived I felt like my aunt was hosting it. I wanted a bohemian / whimsical style wedding. I wasn't sure this would be possible, but Jeannie and staff made my dream wedding a reality. The ceremony space was so romantic and beautiful and the reception was ready for the party I wanted. With her experience Jeannie know what works, and isn't afraid to give her opinion. More times than not you will be thankful that you listened to her. I don’t think I was the most high maintenance bride, but I did present her with some challenges which she very quickly addressed. It is important to realize that the Marriot hosts hundreds of events, and Jeannie gives personalized attention to each of these. She knows what needs to be and when so my advice is relax and just enjoy the process. I had many meetings with her in the 6 months before the wedding. She kept me posted on things that needed done and decisions needed to made. The day of we were in constant contact about the weather etc. By the time I saw her before walking down the aisle I felt so comforted. She really is an asset and the best. People raved about the room, food, and alcohol. There were five weddings my weekend, but the staff made me feel ours was the only one. There is no better value in Pittsburgh for the quality you receive. The only issues we ran into were with the reservations department which I do think needs some work. Our room was incorrect several time, my twin brother was left out of our block etc. However, that is separate from the events and I can give my full recommendation to them. I would not think twice about booking the Pittsburgh Airport Marriot again.

Jeannie and the entire team at the Marriott made our wedding day great! Through the entire process Jeannie took the time to make sure we had what we wanted! We also want to thank Rich who was so helpful and attentive on our wedding day. Everything was beautiful! The entire staff was very professional and we couldn’t have asked for more! We are so grateful!

Where do I begin! The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott is the perfect location to hold a wedding. Our daughter’s wedding was January 19,2019. Jeannie Dankowski and her team are absolutely amazing. We had planned this in under a year and there was no detail left undone. The ball room was stunning; it literally took my breath away when I saw it for the first time. The food was outstanding, the bar service was on point! I heard nothing but praise the whole evening. The servers in the ballroom were just fantastic. Food came out hot and there was never a dirty dish.
There was a little emergency that came up prior to our arrival to the hotel. When I made my way to the ballroom Rich Price was finishing the set up and as I explained my situation he then enlisted the help of Rich Evans. The two of them “made it happen”. I then encountered Jeannie on my way to my room and as I was telling her of the situation she assured me that there’d be no interruptions to our plans and we could ‘go with the flow’ and she would make sure that the bar staff and the chef were aware of the changes. Once cocktail hour began she was always present making sure we were all ok and was ready to go when my daughter and son in law were. And once we were ready to go—it was perfect.
We also had the “Bon Voyage Breakfast” Sunday morning. It was a fantastic way to end the weekend. It gave everyone the opportunity to talk about the events of the evening and to have the proper goodbyes. And the food and service—again..perfection.
My advice—see Jeannie—book the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. You will not be disappointed.

My Fiancé and I met with Jeannie who is the Director of Catering at Airport Marriott near the end of December of 2018. She was an absolute professional. From the moment we entered the hotel to the time we sat down with her (appointment was booked for one hour), Jeannie was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the hotel--the menu's, all the trades/vendors/suppliers used by the hotel as well as those that have been used by other couples. Her ability to make you at ease, her sincerity (speaking the truth) as well as her knowledge was more that we could have asked for. That was part of the reason we decided to book with Marriott--because of Jeannie. No matter what time of the day or night we contacted her regarding questions we had, she provided her cell phone number (even before we booked our appointment to meet with her) and I was able to speak to her on several occasions outside of business hours. This gave us comfort in knowing that if there was a need on our special day, she would be available.

The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was the perfect place for our wedding! Jeannie and her team were absolutely amazing! They do everything to make your day the best day ever. The venue is gorgeous, especially the outside garden area and where we had our cocktail hour! I would recommend this venue for everyone’s wedding, if you want a beautiful hotel with a worry free reception.

Our daughter's wedding reception for 200 was at the Airport Marriott in May of 2018. We are still hearing compliments from family and friends about how wonderful everything was...the cocktail hour, the meal, the beauty of the tables and ballroom, the cookie table display, bon-voyage breakfast, etc. Jeannie and her team are top-notch and guided us well. Every detail was handled with utmost professionalism and kindness. They made the planning of the reception fun, and turned our dreams and visions into reality. I highly recommend this venue!

We are SO happy with chose the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for our wedding reception!!!!! Everything the Marriott did was absolutely perfect and I am not exaggerating! The lighting, the food (their beef tenderloin is AMAZING!), the colors, service, linens, etc. Not one detail was missed. We had our cocktail hour outside which was a large beautiful space and the grand ballroom which was absolutely stunning. 2 months later and we are still getting comments on how beautiful everything was and that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to! We had a late night snack and signature cocktail which our guests loved! My parents have trouble giving up control of things and the wedding planner Jeannie dealt with everything with ease and got our input about every detail about the entire day and was VERY helpful and understanding throughout the entire process-even talking late at night sometimes! She is an amazing planner and an expert at what she does!! She even helped me choose what shoes to wear at the reception and snuck them over to the head table for me. I was so impressed that everything the night of the wedding was so well organized and the service staff was so helpful and accommodating to everyone! They are a great team and exceeded all of our expectations. We had a breakfast the next morning which was also amazing-not only the food, but our flowers were moved to the breakfast area as well as our leftover cake and cookies from the night before! We would really not change one thing about our experience at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott and would recommend them to anyone wanting an absolutely beautiful, perfect, and amazing wedding day!

Our son's rehearsal dinner was held at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. Everyone was impressed by the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, and the food was excellent. Couldn't have been nicer!

I couldn't have asked for a better reception venue! The Marriott was willing to accommodate all of our requests and desires to make our wedding day everything that we could have dreamed of. They truly have the experts on staff to provide great recommendations for lighting, decor, flow of the reception venue, and timing of the event. They made our wedding day stress free and beautiful!

Great experience for a busy bride. They took care of everything at the hotel and no external wedding planner needed. Our food was actually really good. The room was decorated nicely. We had a great courtyard for our cocktail hour. The room rates for our hotel block were great for out of town guests. The coordinator goes through everything with you, and was very flexible about our busy schedules when it came to scheduling meetings. The service was exceptional. We have no regrets about it and wouldn't make any changes to our decisions if we had to do it all over again.

Our wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was wonderful. The staff was incredibly considerate of our needs and friendly. I heard many nice comments from guests about their waiter or waitress. The food was excellent, particularly the salmon. Their attention to detail in the ballroom was fantastic - I was so impressed. However, what really makes this Marriott great can be summed up in one word: Jeannie. This woman is fantastic, and she runs the show.

Jeannie and her team are fantastic and made our night wonderful, stress-free and so enjoyable for us and our guests! She is so organized and an expert in wedding planning!! She makes you feel very special and as if your wedding is the only event going on in the hotel. We were very happy with all the accommodations and have nothing but good things to say about our experience.

We held our reception at the Marriott and while the meetings early on were stressful because of the vast quantity of details that needed to be reviewed, it went off without a hitch! The food was wonderful and hot! The service was great! The room looked amazing! The AV team was awesome! Jeannie did everything she could to make sure our day was perfect. It's nice having her as a liason to the hotel and to convey your details to the person working your wedding. I was a little worried about that part because I am a detail freak, but she has this wedding planning thing down to a science! Jeannie worked with us on the cost and I was thrilled to have my reception here!

Maria at the Marriott helped us through each and every little step of the reception. She made everything so easy on us.

I have not one negative thing to say about the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott! We recently had our reception there and it was absolutely perfect! We have received so many compliments about how wonderful the food was and they keep coming in. They really went above and beyond to make our day special! Everyone from the front desk people to the bellman to the maitre d' was friendly and helpful. It was beyond my expectations! I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone looking to have an amazing wedding in Pittsburgh!

We recently used the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for our wedding reception for our June 2017 wedding. It went smoothly and the Marriott staff were great to work with. The food was excellent and the room and decor were beautiful. The planning process was very detailed and it showed as I have received nothing but compliments from my guests about their experience. I highly recommend the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for your wedding reception venue.

I would highly recommend Pittsburgh Airport Marriott to anyone looking to host their wedding ceremony or reception there. From the first appointment with Jeannie, I knew everything would be wonderful. Jeannie pours her heart and soul into each individual wedding and makes sure she gets to know the bride & groom personally in order to ensure a perfect wedding day. She's a very busy woman, so sometimes it can be hard to reach her, but she will always respond and go out of her way to make your requests happen. On the day of the wedding, everyone, including their front desk workers, were top notch. The day went by without a hitch and I know a lot of that has to do with Jeannie and her team. The hotel is beautiful and the wedding packages are very reasonable. Thank you all for your hard work! You made this bride very happy!!!

My husband and I got married on 9/6/2015 and what can I say our wedding was beautiful. Our wedding was outside in the courtyard with the cocktail hour and reception inside. Everything this was beautifully done and very organized. The planner Jeannie and I got very close throughout the planning process and she delivered exactly what I wanted and more. Jeannie's staff was also very organized and helpful as well! I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to have an amazing wedding. My guests have told me that it is the most beautiful wedding they've even been too! Im so sadc its over, it was an amazing time!

From the first phone call, it was pretty apparent that the Marriott was the venue we wanted to hold our wedding at! We held our ceremony in their courtyard, which was absolutely beautiful (despite the fact that it was 107 degrees that day!), and our reception was in one of the ballrooms. Our input was asked for every step of the way, from the color of the napkins to the floral arrangements to the lighting, but seeing the room all set up took my breath away. The professionals at The Marriot bent over backwards to make sure our wedding day exceeded our expectations - and they succeeded! Maria was such a pleasure to work with, very accomodating, and always quick to respond to my seemingly endless stream of emails and phone calls! She did not miss one single detail. There was another reception in a different ballroom the same night as ours, and I had several guests comment that you would never know we weren't the only wedding there. We felt like a priority from beginning to end. The Marriott mad eour wedding planning so easy on us, we were able to enjoy the entire day without stress or worry. If givin the chance, we wouldnt't change a thing! Our experience was amazing.

I loved working with Jeannie from the Airport Marriott. She was very efficient and very sweet. It really showed that she loved her job. She helped with any little question we had and even helped me get the suite on Friday night so my bridesmaids and I could get ready there in the morning. The food was amazing at our wedding. We had so many guests tell us how much they enjoyed it. Every time we met with Jeannie we had a meal and it was always delicious.

Jeannie was amazing to work with! She is one of a kind and the service there and affordibility was amazing.
The staff is ultra friendly and will do their best to get you everything you want.
They followed all instructions and the room and details could not have been more perfect!

The staff at the Marriott was spectacular. The room was more beautiful than I expected, and the service from the staff that night was wonderful.

Working with Jeannie at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott to plan our wedding reception put me at ease. I knew from the first time we met that the Marriott would make sure every part of our wedding day would be spectacular, and it was! There's so much back and forth communication that goes into planning a wedding, and Jeannie was very patient and helpful through the whole process. Not only did she work with me, but she worked very closely with my mom, mother-in-law, and now husband. Jeannie has a great team behind her that helped us as well, especially the room block coordinators. They were so helpful and patient during the days of finding who had/hadn't booked a room. Their cooking staff is very talented as well, and the tasting may have been my favorite part of planning the reception! Our wedding guests had nothing but great things to say about the food at our wedding, and the chef went the extra mile to make sure my husband and I had a meal to remember. The day of the wedding, our Maitre d' Lauren was nothing short of fantastic. She was so accommodating, attentive to all of our needs (even the ones we didn't know we had), and gave my husband and I a sneak peek of the reception ballroom all setup before they let guests in. Jeannie and her team made sure every detail was accounted for, and Jeannie even wore my wedding colors that day! There's no sugar coating the fact that weddings cost a lot of money, but there's something to be said about knowing that your money is well spent and the Marriott made sure of that.

They made my wedding spectacular - The "wow" factor was definitely there and the compliments still keep coming in!

The food was plated beutifully and served quickly. However, the food is your standard hotel fare. We enjoyed steak with a cabernet sauce and crab cake duo. It was very tasty and the guests enjoyed it. The nice part is that you can have a chef's tasting for your and your family to try the different dishes and select the one you enjoy the most. My favorite part by far was the Potato Leek soup..I wouldn't pass that up because all the guests raved about it! The other nice part about the catering at the Airport Marriott is that alcohol is included in price per head so it is very easy to get an idea of what the total cost will be. Additionally if you book a year or so in advance you can lock in the current prices so you won't get hit when they increase in January of the following year. Good Luck!

When my husband and I walked into the ballroom we were blown away with how beautiful it looked. We had some pumps at first with the front desk not knowing which rooms we were in, but it was fixed. Everyone loved the food, but it did not taste as amazing as it did when we got to trial it.

I was very impressed with my wedding and how everything turned out. The food was amazing (every filet mignon cooked perfectly! And I highly recommend the tortellini!) and every last detail was perfect. Jeannie is very detail oriented and the only downfall is that she is somewhat hard to get ahold of. But once you do get ahold of her, there is nothing to complain about.

Everyone we worked with at the Marriott was amazing and never hesitated in anything we asked or need.

When we first started working with the Marriott, we worked with Jeannie as our coordinator. She was very difficult to get a hold of at times and wasn’t exactly the most friendly person. Later on in the process, Maria and Brittany took over helping us. I have to say that when I met with Maria to make sure she was up to speed on everything we had gone over with Jeannie, Jeannie had completely filled her in and everything was going exactly as we wanted.

Communication got better once we worked with Maria & Brittany- they were SO helpful making sure all of the finishing touches were in order and changing schedules last minute to accommodate our crazy schedule the week of the wedding. They replied to all of my emails and calls, which was really helpful since we planned everything from out of town. On the day of the wedding, the hotel staff was so great. After the ceremony we were able to see the ballroom before all of the guests were allowed in. Maria, Brittany, and Jeannie were all there with our Maitre ‘d for the night, Eric. Eric was awesome! He worked with our DJ to make sure we were on schedule with introductions, toasts, the serving of the food, etc. The staff overall was wonderful and professional.

We got a ton of compliments on how the room looked and our guests loved the food. My only complaint was it took a little long for the cake to be cut and served because many guests weren’t at their tables any longer.

For our room block, Jackie was super helpful. She also helped us rent the back section of the Marriott’s restaurant as a “hospitality room” the Friday before the wedding, where we were able to bring our own food and drinks. She was quick to respond and such a nice person!

The Thursday before the wedding I met with our wedding planner and she was amazing! I told her of some of the stress I had with some of the vendors and she called them right away and got it figured out. She helped bring my dream wedding to a reality and the hotel staff is so nice and very accommodating. I felt like I was staying at a four star hotel the weekend of my wedding and I would recommend this reception site to anyone! We did have a few problems after the wedding with missing items that were never packed up and given to us and that are still missing and have not turned up yet. The Marriott is a huge hotel that there were so many people on board with set up for our wedding little things got lost and while they were packing up our items they accidently put a chair cover sash in our box, but not the cake topper. Another aspect that I didn't care for is that DH and I were barely out of the ballroom at the end of the reception when the banquet staff came in and started tearing down the tables and packing things away. Other than those few minor mishaps we got free internet at the hotel for the weekend and even a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on our wedding night! Extremely detailed in all requirements. Left nothing to worry about on wedding day. Responsiveness of employees during reception was wonderful. Jeannie is a great coordinator.

We had a unique situation where I did not live in Pennsylvania during the first months of our wedding preparation and then we both moved to Kansas 3 months before the wedding. Jeannie Danowski of the Marriott was EXTREMELY understanding and helpful. She scheduled us right away to get our final details and food tasting done before our move since we would not be back in town until 1 week before the wedding. She was quick to respond to emails and always listened to what we wanted for our reception and what was important to us. She is very experienced and the staff at the Marriott is professional and are there to really make the event special for the couple. Beyond having some mushrooms in a couple dishes during the food tasting (we requested no mushrooms), everything else from start to finish was a wonderful experience! They really did make planning easy.

This was the perfect location for our outside ceremony and cocktail hour. It was great bringing the party inside for a delicious dinner and to dance the night away.

The Marriott was a beautiful location but I would not recommend a bar extension it is VERY pricey! Maria was amazing to work with and she took care of all details without question.

We had our wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. I can honestly say that the Marriott is a place that strives to accommodate the vision of their wedding couples. They worked with us to pick linens, lighting, and a few extra special touches that would put our stamp on the reception. Guests absolutely raved about the quality of the food. We appreciated having someone dedicated to attending to our reception that evening- we felt it made things go very smoothly. While we did have a beautiful reception, throughout the planning process we were repeatedly frustrated by how difficult it was to get in touch with the planning staff (even in the weeks before the wedding). It seems as though they may be stretched a bit thin in their catering/sales department which could have been the cause of some of the problems. Overall, it was a beautiful wedding which is all we could ask for.

On the day of, the Marriott was wonderful and helpful and everything that my husband and I expected. We did feel when working with the Marriott that sometimes our views and visions were not being met or that there was an extravagant extra price added to make our vision complete. The Marriott staff was wonderful and aside from minor setbacks we were mostly happy with our experience.

Jeannie worked with us throughout the planning process and tried her best to get all the details sorted out efficiently. She could be a little rude sometimes and we felt like she was pitting my mother and I against one another at times, but overall she was good to work with. The day itself went very well and they followed through with most of the details on the contract. Just make sure it's written down or it will not get done, since Jeannie is not the one that manages the details of your day - she hands off the instructions to another person. Our maitre d was wonderful - she checked in with us repeatedly and kept the events on schedule but was not overly rigid.

The food was great for those that ate meat but the portions were much smaller than what we had seen on the tasting. The vegetarian meal was awful despite having worked with the chef and Jeannie for months on how to prepare seitan and sending them recipes. It was very unfortunate. Also, the presentation is not very exciting but if you want to bring in pictures of how you want something done, they will do it ("for a price," as Jeannie says.) We had them copy a pear salad from better homes and gardens and it was a complete hit - delicious and beautiful. The viennese table was also a hit.

The florist that is included in the package is uninspiring and the work we saw (we went a few times to see her arrangements), was mediocre. The flowers were sparse and the vases mismatched. They like to use a lot of mirrors and votives and petals to add substance to the menial arrangements.

We had our ceremony in the courtyard. it was a gorgeous day and the sun was out for the ceremony, which was perfect. there was more than enough room for the 70 or so people and the AV guys made sure the mics were working well. We broadcasted our wedding oversees using a wireless signal from the city of Pittsburgh, since the hotel's wireless doesn't go to the courtyard. And despite being near a highway and the airport, it is very quiet there. Also a great place for cocktail hour!

We had many of our guests stay at this hotel and at the SpringHill suites which was incredibly convenient. Not much to do out there but it did mean everyone was on time for the festivities. It also meant that getting to the airport was easy - 5-10minutes by car or a little longer if they took the marriott shuttle.
