  Best value - Location, food, service, and awesome event planning team

  In the last few months, the Pinstripes team was wonderful to work with and helped accommodate our changes in plans with COVID. Their staff is fun, energetic, and experts in event planning. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes this year in the cocktail room down by the beautiful river and we cannot wait to host our larger reception next year in the ballroom. The location (right next to Navy Pier) is optimal and the outside/inside flexibility was greatly appreciated. During and after our rehearsal dinner, our guests thanked us several times for the delicious food at Pinstripes. The event planning team has been great to work with --through tastings, room setup, and again, re-planning our entire event with COVID. If you're looking for a great location, delicious food, a rustic setup on the river, and a great planning team, look no further! Wedding planning is already quite time consuming and a few Pinstripes below alleviated so many of our stresses throughout:
  
  Jessica Randel has been very responsive and proactive throughout her time with us--we had to make significant changes to our plans due to COVID and she helped bring our new vision (keeping everyone as safe as possible while maximizing our rehearsal dinner experience). She's helped us change our 150 person wedding to an intimate rehearsal dinner gathering outside, expertly advised us on various dinner services and setup, helped us safely manage new Chicago COVID rules (that changed week to week), and during the week of she kept us abreast of the weather and proactively guided us into a stress-free scenario. We cannot wait to work with her next year as we reschedule our big wedding reception in the downstairs ballroom.
  
  My husband and I also cannot thank Sherry Kenny, Jeremy Hopkins, and Diana Grodecki enough for the excellent expertise and service-driven customer experience. Sherry, at Oakbrook Pinstripes, provided us invaluable advice as we were navigating our COVID change in plans and managing through the changing circumstances in Chicago. Diana worked with us during the early phases, making our wedding tasting and early planning experience with my family a blast. At our rehearsal dinner, Jeremy ensured that every one of our guests received the top food and drink service, that his staff took precautionary measures, and that everyone had a phenomenal time. These efforts on your wedding weekend make a huge difference and we couldn’t have been more happy with our rehearsal dinner evening.
  
  We cant wait to finalize our big wedding reception plans with them in 2021 and return for another great experience.

  Great, Fun Venue!

  My fiance and I met at Pinstripes so there was no question it is where we wanted to get married. Jessica and the Pinstripes team do an AMAZING job through the entire wedding planning process and are right there every step of the way. The venue is not only fun but gorgeous and the food is delicious. The service was great and we've heard nothing but raves from our wedding guests on what a cool spot it was for a wedding. We held both the ceremony and reception and everything was perfect.

  Amazing Brunch Wedding Venue

  We chose Pinstripes for our brunch wedding for its location on the ogden slip, the bocce, and oh yeah! - the BRUNCH menu -
  They worked with us every step of the way and were able to provide everything we needed to make our mimosa-filled wedding the absolute best! Plus everyone truly enjoyed the bocce!
  Many thanks to Michela for getting us over the finish line :) the compliments from all our family and friends have NOT stopped.

  We just had our wedding here and LOVED it!! I cannot say enough good things about it. Veronica (our coordinator) was on top of everything and made sure the wedding day was perfect. The venue was beautiful (great pictures of the river and city during cocktail hour!) and fun and fit our wedding with enough space for a good size dance floor. The food was amazing. We got wonderful feedback from all of our guests. The bowling after party made everything the whole evening even more special. It was all just very unique!! I loved it and like I said, can't say enough wonderful things about Pinstripes!

  I cannot say enough good things about Pinstripes as our ceremony and reception venue for our wedding. Lisa, the Pinstripes Chicago event coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure everything came together perfectly and our day was flawless. Our guests raved about the venue- the outdoor space and cocktail hour area lined with floor to ceiling windows made for the most beautiful backdrop, and the 10:00pm fireworks on Saturday nights at Navy Pier were in full view for all of our guests which was an added bonus. The prices were so affordable which is unheard of in the city! The Pinstripes team really did everything they could to make our day special and beautiful, and we wouldn't have changed a thing. I would highly recommend Pinstripes as a wedding venue to anyone!

  We just signed our contract for a June 2017 wedding. We fell in love with the space as soon as we walked in. Neither of are bowlers by any means so the thought of getting married in a "bowling alley" was a tough pill for us to swallow but we had heard such good things about the space that we decided to give it a shot. As soon as you walk in the vibe is very laid-back and comfortable, yet still trendy and modern. The reception space is right on the riverwalk and gives a great indoor/outdoor option for the the guests.
  
  Laura has been great to work with so far. She's been very accommodating and has really gone out of her way to make everything work the way we were hoping it would.
  
  By Chicago standards the pricing in extremely reasonable and you get so much more for your money than just about anywhere else that we have looked.
  
  We obviously have a ways to go before the big day but we're really excited about Pinstripes as our venue and are looking forward to continue the planning process with them.

  I do wish I had gone in to try some of the food first, because I may have made different selections, however this was a perfect venue for my husband's family and mine to spend time together for the first time. Since they had never met, we wanted to have an event the night everyone got into town that encouraged mingling and conversation, and boy did this fit the bill. The bar package is a good deal too.

  Buyer beware – despite the beautiful space, I wish my husband and I avoided working with this establishment. I hosted a welcome party for my wedding weekend at Pinstripes in August of 2021, and was extremely disappointed the night of and afterwards.
  In short – the planners were unresponsive prior to the event, failed to deliver on the contracted and agreed upon services, and brushed off requests to correct this on the night of the event as if we were inconveniencing them. This was extremely disappointing for such a special occasion. One week later, and after a lengthy email detailing my experience, the assistant manager profusely apologized and offered a refund for the services their team failed to deliver (nothing else to make up for their mistakes), however the refund never showed up in my credit card statement. Two months later I noticed they had just charged my credit card two more times for the full cost of the event, and they won’t responded to any of my messages about it! In the end I had to change my credit card number, and Chase helped dispute both transactions.
