    Fabulous Experience!

    I had to buy my dress at a sample sale at the very last minute and the store recommended Pinpoint. Since beggars can’t be choosers and this store’s selection above a size 10 was limited, I had to get a (beautiful) dress that was two sizes too big. The ladies at Pinpoint altered the dress with aplomb and we worked together to make some design changes I needed to make the dress bra friendly. Considering the amount of work involved, the price was incredibly fair and they are open for negotiation if necessary.

    I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Pinpoint Bridal. I got my dress at BHLDN and it needed to be taken in a few sizes, and given a bustle. Pinpoint did a phenomenal job, I wore my (strapless) dress all afternoon and all evening, and never once did I have to pull it up, it fit beautifully and the bustle was super easy to pull-together and looked very elegant.

    Everything I wanted and more. I got my designer gown online, foregoing the "bridal experience," saying yes to a chic dress with a mouse click. Pinpoint took something I was painfully nervous about and made me feel special and beautiful. My wedding dress alterations were inexpensive, completed early, and fit perfectly - So I brought my rehearsal dress and reception dress in too. Maybe it was the awesome lesbian couple trying on their dresses together before me, or the shop owner Fatima being kind because I was there by myself, or how adorable that little store front is, but Pinpoint made the errand I was most dreading and critical of, into one of the very few times I enjoyed the otherwise onerous work of wedding planning.

    Brought my wedding dress here to be altered and loved every moment. Their professionalism is beyond perfection and they truly treat every bride with a special touch. Anything you need or ask for they can do. The girls even helped me add an extra special touch to my hair comb and didn't even charge me since it was such a small task. My dress was perfect!

    I loved my dress after they altered it. I bought mine at sample sale at Kleinfeld and referred me to them. They really know how to alter dresses. My dress had like 6-7 layers with a lot of beadings and my dress was 2 sizes too large (I wear 4 but bought 10) by they fixed it beautifully, I was very pleased with the way it came out. It wasn't cheap, but had 2 fittings and 3rd time, they took the time to dress and undress me.

    I purchased my dress from Kleinfeld's and was recommended to Pinpoint for alterations. They were incredibly responsive to my requests for alterations and were helpful in suggesting others as well. I had three fittings and all of them went well, and the ladies were both very kind and lovely. My dress was a very complicated dress to alter - lots of beading, etc., but it came out beautifully and flawless. Thank you Pinpoint! I would definitely recommend this to brides.

    i needed a bustle for my dress and they did a great job with all the beading and lace that my dress had. i ended up getting my veil here as well. The staff was super nice. It seemed a little expensive, but it is your wedding dress after all!

    I bought my dress at RK Bridal and had my alterations done at Pinpoint. Fatima and her team did a wonderful job. I had to have lace sleeves built onto the dress and they turned out beautifully- I got compliments all night. I did feel it was a bit pricey but a job well done.

    I got a viel and my gown altered here and remziye is Amazing. she made me feel so confident and I loved the new changes to the store.

    had my wedding dress from BHLDN altered here and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My dress fits perfectly now, and the ladies in the shop were so wonderful to work with. They listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job. I was also pleasantly surprised how fair the prices were. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to have any wedding dress alterations!

    Great Seamstress. My dress looked beautiful. The price could have been a couple hundred less than what I paid for alterations in my opinion. But other than that, I was very happy with their flexibility, creativity and professionalism. I got compliments on my dress from everyone. You will be happy if you choose this place~

    Pinpoint Bridal did all of my alterations on a sample gown I purchased. There was significant work that had to be done to size down the dress from a size 12 to a size 4. Pinpoint worked diligently with me over the course of 2 months and I walked down the aisle looking exactly the way I wanted. I did have to go back for 6 fittings, but it was totally worth it and I appreciate all of their attention to detail!

    I went here to get alterations for my wedding gown and somehow I lucked out and only needed a bustle. Still, the ladies were friendly and took care of what I needed. Expect to wait a bit and definitely remember to bring your ticket slip. My bustle stayed on throughout the event no problem!

    I would recommend Pinpoint Bridal for alterations--the alterations were done on time and skillfully. I enjoyed being in the shop and the owner and her associates were very kind. (The final price was more than I wanted to spend, but with wedding costs, everything is!) All in all, I would recommend this business!

    PLS READ BEFORE BOOKING*****I went to Kleinfelds for my wedding dress. After booking my appt, I stopped into their beautiful and professional sample store and immediately fell in love and purchased my dream wedding gown. The rep there referred me to pinpoint bridal. While I already use a tailor who comes to my home, I felt that I wanted the "experience". I needed the following done: 1) the dress taken in (a lotttttttt) 2) the beading fixed 3) the bustle + hem and 4) the dress cleaned.

    ***THEY MAKE YOU PAY ALL CASH ***
    The first fitting was normal aside from the pressure to pay all cash. the assistant was pleasant and gave our group a lot of time. We agreed on alterations and sent the dress in to have the alterations done...and I couldn't wait to go back.

    THEY BOOK SUPER CLOSE TO YOUR WEDDING DAY ....Everything went downhill after the first fitting. On the second fitting, I could tell that the dress HAD NOTTTTT been taken in. I was told "that I lost weight". (I did not.)

    ALTERATIONS WERE NOT DONE ****
    There is no argument- the dress was not altered. For the third appointment, the beading was supposed to be fixed and The bustle was supposed to be done. The beading was NOTTTTT fixed but we were told it would be finished during the cleaning ($250 deposit and the total at this point was only supposed to be $450 including the cleaning).

    I went to pick up the dress which was already sealed which I KNOW IS NOT how it is EVER done in any reputable bridal salon AS I HAVE BEEN TO MANY.

    You alwaysssssssss try on the wedding dress after it is complete. Alwayssssssssss.

    But guess what, the studio was packed and the assistant double booked over my appointment. The dressing rooms were taken and there was no room to try on the dress. I reluctantly took the dress home and opened the bag.

    ******Nothing had been done.

    PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE FOR ALTERATIONS ON YOUR WEDDING DRESS. They pretend to be "cheaper than the competition" but they are not. And their services are DEFINITELY NOT BETTER. Every time I went there to have a fitting, there was another bride in tears. It made me nervous, but my dress was easy and not much had to be done, so it was okay. BUT, the day of my Wedding, 2 hours before the ceremony when I'm getting into my gown, the zipper doesn't work. One of the teeth were off. Luckily, my Wedding planner was amazing and there was a seamstress across the street who ran over and fixed the problem within 45 minutes, but that didn't help with the stress of the day. I was a very easy going bride and not much bothered me the day of the Wedding, but this was annoying and you DON'T want this to happen to you. DO NO GO HERE -- SERIOUSLY. NOT WORTH THE STRESS just to save a hundred or two bucks.

    I took my designer sample wedding gown to Pinpoint Bridal in February of this year, after being referred there by 3 different bridal salons. The dress is a Stephen Yearick gown with heavy satin and extensive bead work.

    At my first fitting, the dress was still way too big and needed more alterations. There was a section in the middle that was not laying flat and the bust line did not fit properly and it was sticking out in the hip area.

    At my next appointment, the dress fit even worse. I was told that I lost weight needed a bra and that she could not bring the dress up to the appropriate neck line. She also tried to up-charge me $140 due to her not realizing how much work the dress needed. I was able to negotiate this down to $40, however this business practice concerned me greatly.

    I went and purchased a bra and returned for a 3rd time only to find that now she needed to sew the bra into the dress, she needed to cut the dress open and make more alterations, which she proceeded to do while I was still wearing the dress. She asked me to come back the next day with a bra and she would finish up. It was now 1 week from my wedding and this was causing a lot of undo stress.

    I returned the next day with the same bra only for her accuse me of changing the bra because now it would not work and she could not sew it in as she promised the day before. I also noticed that the sides of the dress still didn't fit properly and that she needed to further take in the bust area. Once again, my dress was on the floor being cut open to remove padding etc while I'm standing there. I was told to leave the dress with her again and pick it up the night prior to flying out for my wedding.

    On the wedding day, the bust line looked horrible, it was too low, and made me look like I had extra fat, the midsection did not lay flat and the over all appearance looked sloppy.

    Wedding dress alterations done here and in the end it all turned out good and fit well, but the whole process leading up to it was stressful. As with Alison M. I had a sample dress and also had a longer timeline until my wedding, which I'm pretty sure means, they don't do any alterations until right before, because the same thing happened, where the alterations weren't actually complete or done until the very last one. I also had a bunching near the waist/bustline and she kept arguing with me until I pointed it out ecplicitly in the mirror and also had my sister take a picture and then she finally said, ok maybe I see it.

    They never replaced a crystal they said they would. They can NEVER find your dress. Whatever you do don't loose your ticket number, because they do not save things by name.

    On top of all that, I had the entire thing quoted and priced and paid half upfront, it included the alterations, cleaning and press, it was all written on this little piece of paper. Then at the last fitting it was a different woman and she tried to charge me extra for cleaning, but cleaning was written ON THE RECEIPT. I could see it, I pointed to it. And she replied "Yes but it should be a separate item" and I said well maybe its because I first came last year and prices were different and she wouldn't honor the ticket as it was written and added $50 onto a check that was already fully written out to include tailoring, clean and press. Then she had the nerve to try to ask for cash only instead of credit card for final payment. What a rip off.

    If you want to keep your sanity, don't go here.

    the shop manager is a sweet heart however I wouldn't recommend them.
