Loved my MC & my DJ

Awe man! My MC was the bomb! He hyped the party up and all my guests had so much fun. No complaints from anyone. We're so happy because all our guests say our wedding could be the wedding of the year! Thanks Pinilla! 10/10

Loved everyone!

Everyone was freaking amazing !!! We absolutely loved Chris the photographer and the videographer!! They made everyone feel absolutely comfortable and got what they wanted done as well as our requests with pictures and what to get on video!!! DJ played an amazing array of music and was on point for the most part!!! Would definately recommend

Pinilla Studios did an amazing job at my wife and I's wedding. They were incredibly easy to deal with and fully accommodated our every request. We were a picky couple and sent probably 50-75 different songs to our DJ, Chris. He not only met our needs perfectly, he also made it flow in such a way that the dance floor stood packed all night. I couldn't be happier with the music setup at our wedding, from the delivery of our entrance music during the ceremony, to the final song of our reception. A huge thank you to Pinilla Studios and even bigger thank you to Chris, Danny, and our wonderful percussionist.

Choosing Pinilla Studios to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We got a bundle package with Pinilla Studios for Photo, Video, and DJ. The photographer did an amazing job, he was so professional, fun, creative, calm, and collective. He was able to work wonders in the small window of time we had to take pictures before our ceremony and was able to direct such a big bridal party with ease. He was simply talented and was a delight to work with. We also had a videographer that did an excellent job. He worked so well with the photographer that you did not even notice he was there. And let me mention the DJ and percussionist, they rocked the house! They really kept the party going at all times, there was not one time our dance floor was empty, we even had guests dancing while dinner was served. We got so many compliments from our guest of how much fun and good the music was. We cannot recommend Pinilla Studios services enough, we are so grateful they were able to make our special day so magical!

There are no words to explain how great Pinilla studios truly is. We had so many services booked with Pinilla; photographer & videographer, Step and Repeat and DJ & MC. I didn't know much about them so I was nervous at first but boy did they come through. People were up and dancing before dinner was even served. As people ate they jammed to the music. We told DJ Chris that the music was just as important as food as my groom and I are really big on music. It was the perfect blend of r&b, bachata, tipico, salsa and house music. The photographer, Chris, was also phenomenal. He made everyone laugh and have a good time as we took pictures and was so flexible. We were unable to go to the park we originally planned to and take pictures but he worked with what we had, which was the garden next to the church. The videographer was the sweetest person ever and told me how touched he was by the father/daughter dance. The step and repeat photographer and greeter (an alternative to the phtobooth) also did amazing. My guests took as many pictures as they wanted on the red carpet and received a frame along with the picture at the end of the night. It worked as a favor and people loved it. Pinilla really listened to everything we wanted and delivered it! I just loved how dedicated they were to make our day as amazing as possible. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Pinilla studios provided excellent videography, photography and DJ services. The staff paid close attention to our wishes and carried out all services to a level that exceeded our expectations. For example, the pictures captured the excitement of every moment and they will be cherished forever. The DJ played every song we requested at the exact time we specified. Pinilla Studios staff provided exceptional services for my wedding day. The photographer, videographer and the MC/DJ were friendly, had a great sense of humor, very accomodating, and flexible. They were all punctual and professional. The Dj was great and provided services beyond my expectations, My husband the guests and I danced all night long and praised the djs and the great variety of musicial selections. I can't wait for my next life event to use their services again.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! They came all the way to Syracuse, NY to DJ my wedding!! All of my friends and family were impressed!! They had never heard or seen such an awesome DJ!! The music selection was perfect. Plus, they completed my list, and blended it in with the rest of their music selections. The motion lights were fantastic, and helped to make my wedding an enjoyable party!! We had a variety of guests, from NYC and Syracuse. All enjoyed themselves tremendously, and partied to the American and Latin music that we needed for our event. I would highly recommend them!! They are extremely professional and helped to add that NYC flair to our party!

After searching endlessly for the perfect DJ, we happened upon Pinilla Studios at one of the thousands of bridal showcases we attended. We immediately fell in love with this "old school" DJ studio-- at the showcase they really knew how to get the party started and the crowd involved quickly. So we went to the office in person, and after speaking to the owner Wilson, who was so passionate about his work, we knew they were "the one", so we booked, Their rates were very reasonable for the services they provided. After completing a client form, we scheduled an in-person required consultation so that we could review all the music. That made me feel confident they had it all under control and knew exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day, they arrived on-time, set-up quickly, and as they had done in the showcases, got all our guests on their feet in no time! Our M/C had a great voice and keep the wedding flowing. The DJ played terrific music and seemed to sense what the crowd wanted-- he was even nice enough to stay a little extra because my in-laws refused to stop partying! I was very happy with their service and would recommend them highly to anyone looking to throw a great bash!

I really loved my pictures and video! It was all very professional and the photographer was stupendous!!! I could not ask for anyone better! It was a bit expensive but definitely worth it. The only thing that I did not like is that they charge a late fee if you do not pick up your proofs right after the wedding. This was a problem because I was not informed this and I went away for a long honeymoon. Other than that, I LOVED IT! :)

Pinilla Studios did a good job with our wedding video. Wilson, our videographer, was very professional and great to work with. He arrived on time and helped the day run smoothly. However, for the production aspect, my husband and I would have preferred to have been able to view the raw footage before they edited our video, but they do not allow this. Also, we didn't know who was working on our video until the day of, so we took a risk, but it all worked out.

Let me begin by saying that the photography was one of the most important things to me. Although many things did not go as planned, I took everything in stride... and I continued doing so even after the wedding. I had no regrets... not until several weeks after the wedding. I apologize in advance for the lengthy review but, I know some brides might appreciate it. Besides, I like to explain why I am giving Pinilla such low ratings and let others determine whether or not they feel that my issues are valid or not.

I'm really not sure where to begin but I'll start with why I booked with Pinilla... They had a representative at one of the bridal showcases that I attended. Every venue I had visited had recommended Pinilla. Given that they were recommended by so many, I felt comfortable speaking with the representative at the showcase. The rep asked my budget and made sure I did not go over it which I really appreciated. Basically, for $1800, I was getting 8 hours of photography, a large wedding album, two parent albums, thank you cards, and a giant portrait.

Shortly after booking with them, I started receiving telemarketing calls. Apparently, they didn't realize I was already a client. I often told them that I was already using them and they'd apologize, hang up, and I'd receive another call within a couple of days from someone else. This continued for the entire year leading up to the wedding. I was annoyed with their phone calls but I just let them go to voicemail. I knew this was a sign of not being professional but I figured that would be the extent of their lack of professionalism. Eventually, a few weeks before the wedding, I called them to see if I could figure out an itinerary for the big day and was told that they don't do that until the week before the wedding. The girl explained that doing it too far in advance often meant having to make last minute changes so might as well just hold off and do it then... Made sense to me. Then I called because I was informed by a wedding planner that they were supposed to have put me in touch with my photographer and provide me with an engagement photo which I didn't know about. When I asked about this, they acted as if I was out of my mind for asking about an engagement photo (meanwhile, after the wedding, I looked at their website and saw that they offer free engagement photos with their packages!).

As far as the photographer goes, Pinilla said that I'd receive a call from him a couple of days before the wedding. Fine. I didn't want to be an annoying bride so I just went with it. I eventually did get a call from the photographer... the evening before the wedding!!! I was at my rehearsal dinner when the photographer called. I took the call and gave him the address of where I'd be getting ready and that was pretty much it. I will say that he arrived on time, thankfully! He was pleasant and has been doing photography for many years. However, he only took two pictures of me getting ready! I was kind of expecting to have had more but that wasn't the case.

Now, let me preface this portion with taking some responsibility for the pictures that were taken. I really wanted a certain type of photography, hence the reason for my calling Pinilla to ask about touching base with the photographer. I really didn't want many traditional photos but preferred a more photo-journalism type of style. Of course, having spoken with him for the first time at my rehearsal dinner, I did not communicate that to him. When he arrived the day of the wedding, I was in the middle of getting my hair and makeup done so that wasn't a good time to talk either. And of course, I was in the midst of wedding day anxiety. So sure enough, my photos are pretty much all traditional (posed) pictures. Again, I'll take SOME responsibility for this as he is not psychic but I do think he should have gotten in touch with me at least a week before the wedding.

So now, it's the wedding day and there's just madness everywhere... It really is the most hectic day of your life! The photographer was patient which I really did appreciate! However, in retrospect, there were many standard photos that were not taken... Such as:
1- Bride and Groom inside limo
2- Bride with Flower Girl
3-Bride and Groom with MOH and Best Man
4-Groom with Groomsmen
5- Bride and Groom with both sets of parents
6- Centerpieces

And I thought it would have been nice if he would have taken pictures of my guests at their tables. That didn't really happen.

The disappointment really didn't set in until the following:
The wedding is over... I call about a five days later to ask when I can expect my proofs. I'm told that it takes about 2-3 weeks. After two weeks, I call to check the status and am told that my proofs have been ready waiting to be picked up for "a while." Yet nobody ever called to let me know. At this point, I remind them that I live out of state and can't just stop and take a 2.5 hour drive to pick up my pictures. I ask if they can mail them to me and they put me on hold. After a few minutes, I'm told they can mail them but they will have to charge me an extra $40!!! Now, I've just paid them $1600 and they can't just mail them to me for free?!?!?! I wasn't asking for overnight service. Regular snail mail would have sufficed. Then I remembered that I was told that I'd get access to my photos digitally and asked about it. I was under the impression that getting digital access meant online access which I was informed is not the same thing. When I asked how much extra it would be for them to upload them to their site, they said it would be an extra $100. Mind you, that's an extra $100 for my friends and family to be able to view and purchase the pictures directly from them. Why must they charge so much for something that they will clearly profit from? So, I give up and say I'll stop by next time I'm in the city.

When I finally arrive to pic up my "proofs," I am handed an envelope with a cd in it. Call me old school but I expected some physical pictures with the word "proof" on them. Nope. And I didn't have a computer with me and they don't have computers for you to be able to look at your pictures on. I was disappointed that although the pictures were in my possession, I could not see them. Then we went over the procedure for ordering the wedding album. They showed me the album that I would be getting which is a very basic album. It's just an 8x10 photo per page. I saw some other albums and asked how much extra it would be to upgrade... I was told $800 (for the basic digital-type album) and $1300 for the nicer digital magazine-style album). Of course, my heart is set on the nicer album but am frustrated that an album "upgrade" would cost $1300!!!! My whole package was $1800, that's nearly double the price!!! I'm frustrated because although the experience with Pinilla has been what it is, I was hoping for beautiful wedding pictures! Despite the fact that my pictures are not photo-journalistic, there are some really nice shots. But, these pictures belong in a nicer album that has been worked on by a professional album designer and the price is just absurd.

So, that's been my experience with them thus far. They are just really money-hungry! All they they do is nickel and dime you. It's obvious that they don't care about service or keeping a customer happy, which is really sad because word of mouth can work wonders for businesses, more so than advertising. I will be sure to tell everyone I know who is getting married to be careful with them. If I could do it all over again, I'd go with another photographer! And I have not said that about any of my vendors!

I would never recommend Pinilla studios to anyone. I signed a contract with them for a videographer with unedited raw footage full coverage, which was the worst decision I ever made. The day started off fine and simple and since my ceremony and reception was being held in the same location it made it easier I assumed for the videographer to cover all the bases. My wedding was from 12:30-6 and from what I saw and statements from all of my guests he was filming the entire length of my wedding. So imagine my surprise when I go pick up my dvds which I had to keep calling to inquire where they were, I discover that he took a 6 hour shoot and chopped it up into a 2 hour video. When I contacted Pinilla I was told that the editing is done in video while he's shooting and he picks and chooses what he feels is important to put on the dvd. How in the hell can you decide what footage is important in someone's wedding without showing them everything that you filmed. Every time I called to complain and inquire about the parts of my wedding that was missing I kept hearing the same speech about how they've been in business and has never had any complains which is obviously a lie. The sound quality was horrible his filming was even worse. So it saddens me to say that Pinilla Studios ruin what was supposed to be a cherished memory from my wedding. I can't show anyone the dvd because I am so embarrassed by the quality of work from the so called professionals. Since they seem to have lost parts of my wedding footage refuse to refund me I am taking them to court and have already contacted several news channels. I hope no one else's wedding memories get ruined like mine was.
