  Made Me Feel Beautiful!

  Pin Me Up did such a wonderful job for my hair and makeup, as well as my bridesmaids and mothers! They were so professional, did such an amazing job and Kim and Liz made me feel so beautiful for my wedding day! I will book with Pin Me Up again for any big events!

  Beautiful work, great hair and makeup artists

  I could not be more happy with our PMU services for our wedding. We had a rather large group of attendees and with the expertise of the hair and makeup artists, we were always ahead of schedule! Nicole worked with me throughout the whole process on meeting my hair needs. She helped provide professional recommendations on how to make my hair hold curl-and with her advice, it worked! She worked wonders! Liz also provided beautiful makeup services for myself and my attendees. She listened to everyone's unique makeup needs and is a pro with fake eyelashes! Rene also provided hair services for my attendees and he created some beautiful hair styles! All in all my hair and makeup artists were incredibly professional, easy to work with, and made getting ready incredibly calming.

  Taylor and Michelle are the best!

  I can't say enough good things about our experience with Pin Me up (special shout out to Taylor and Michelle) for my wedding day! From the very first trial, I knew we were in great hands. Taylor's makeup artistry was incredible—she really listened to my vision and made it come to life, which eased all my pre-wedding nerves. We had so much fun during the trial, laughing and chatting, which made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable.
  On the big day, I felt absolutely stunning! The makeup artistry was incredible—everyone not only created a beautiful look but also ensured it lasted all day without a hitch. The hair styling was equally amazing; each bridesmaid, bridespeople and moms had a gorgeous look that perfectly complemented our outfits. Everyone felt fabulous and received so many compliments throughout the day!
  PMU created such a positive atmosphere, making the morning of the wedding feel like a celebration in itself. I can’t recommend them highly enough for any bride looking for talented professionals who are also a joy to be around! Thank you all for helping make my wedding day so special!

  Best Hair and Makeup Artists!

  Pin Me Up was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding day! The booking process was super easy with them, including booking my hair and makeup trials, and it was nice to have a one-stop shop for both hair and makeup. They made me feel so beautiful--just wish I could always have them along as my glam squad!

  Felt like a queen

  Pin Me Up Chicago is absolutely delightful to work with. I had two hair trials and one makeup trial, and felt so grateful throughout the entire experience. On the big day, my makeup by Mei was absolutely stunning, and my hair by Jojo was perfect. I felt like a queen, and everything looks outstanding in the photos. My bridesmaids, the MOB and MOG and flower girls looked absolutely incredible the entire day and night, and the PMU team was so fast and thorough! they got through 12 people in 3 hours. It was absolutely amazing! I could not be more grateful to Mei, Jojo, Caitlin and Sarah for all of their time, work and talent on our wedding day. We felt like movie stars! 10/10 experience.

  Great Artists but Not Great Owner

  Used for my hair and makeup for my wedding, 9/3. It's important to note that this review pertains to my experience dealing with the company itself, rather than the artists who provided the services.
  
  My primary frustration stemmed from the difficulty of getting in touch with Jessica, the company's representative. Communication with her was consistently challenging, and I found myself having to repeatedly reach out for updates and, quite surprisingly, to make payment arrangements. The latter, especially in the lead-up to my wedding, was an unnecessary source of stress.
  
  Another issue that arose was the logistical mix-up regarding the location. Despite our wedding coordinator diligently conveying all necessary details, such as contact information and hotel arrangements, the artists still ended up at the wrong hotel and calling me on the wedding day, rather than my coordinator. I do not fault the artists for this; rather, it appears to be a result of inadequate communication within the company.
  
  One significant drawback was the absence of a dedicated phone number for emergencies. This omission led to several hiccups during the planning process and on the wedding day itself. In a high-stakes event like a wedding, having a direct line for immediate assistance is crucial.
  
  On a positive note, I want to acknowledge that the artists themselves were super friendly, talented and professional. They did a lovely job, and I have no complaints about the quality of their work.
  
  Additionally, the pricing offered by this company is competitive when compared to other similar services in the Chicago area. However, I can't help but feel that the company's pricing structure reflects its communication issues and organizational challenges.   Great experience!

  I booked Pinmeup hair and makeup artists for my wedding and the whole experience was amazing! Their customer service is excellent with easy communication, quick feedback, and overall organization that makes you feel at ease. Both hair (Isabel Johnson) and makeup (Mei Moy)artists were professional, timely, and talented women. They provided great service for both my trial and my wedding day. I had the utmost confidence in them to make me feel extra special and beautiful on my day. They listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations on their delivery.

  Amazing from the beginning

  Pin Me Up Chicago was excellent to work with! With the many "to-do's" of wedding planning, booking my bridal and bridal party hair and makeup services honestly fell through the cracks. When I reached out, their response time was quick and they were able to fit me in for a trial in the next week.
  
  Jojo and Sandra were amazing! They took my natural style (long hair with glasses) and elevated it, making me feel beautiful and elegant, but also myself. They were sweet, funny, and made the whole process fun. On wedding day, they were even able to add in last minute additions.
  
  I would highly recommend!

When I used them, they were always on time and prepared, and I would recommend them. It is inconvenient though that they have trouble taking checks as payment--I kept trying to pay them and they kept wanting to charge my credit card on file, but I hadn't given them one. Gratuity is included, which is very convenient.

  I loved working with Pin Me Up. I was planning my wedding from Europe, so communication and scheduling all had an extra layer of complication, and everyone at Pin Me Up was extremely responsive and helped things go smoothly.
  
  Sam, makeup, and Harley, hair, were absolute pros and translated requests from the wedding party for everything from "punk rock" to "slightly bohemian" to "space kitty" into truly stunning looks. They were a joy to work with and I've never felt more beautiful. Plus my hair and makeup were still fully intact after several hours of dancing! Miraculous!

  Great experience

  I had a wonderful experience working with Pin Me Up Chicago! They were very communicative and on top of planning my practice session and wedding day. Both my makeup artist and hair stylist were prompt and fun to spend time with the morning of my wedding. Each artist did a fantastic job of taking the inspiration photos I provided and making that look work for my hair and complexion. My makeup felt natural but beautiful, and my hair stayed up pretty well all night (just had to pin one curl back in, which isn’t bad for how thick my hair is). I would definitely recommend Pin Me Up!

  Amazing team for large groups!

  Pin Me Up was amazing to work with! Dana and her team did such an amazing job working through 12 bridesmaids (!!), 2 moms, 2 flower girls and me! Everyone loved their hair styles. They could show them any hairstyle and they pulled it off perfectly. My hair was beautiful and stayed up all night through the windy ceremony, reception, after party and after after party! I would highly recommend Pin Me Up to anyone looking for a hairstylist!

  Wedding Make-up and Hair

  Pin Me Up Chicago did my hair and make-up and one of my bridesmaids’ hair. My other bridesmaids had their hair and make-up done by someone else, and I really appreciated Pin Me Up Chicago being so cool about this. Pin Me Up Chicago was the easiest vendor I had to handle re-scheduling. Jessica was very compassionate to me through those ever-changing times. I originally had my hair and make-up done by two other stylists for my trial since my wedding was postponed due to COVID-19 I had two different stylists for my big day. All of them were very talented and did a fantastic job with my hair and make-up. I appreciated Pin Me Up Chicago not making me have to do another trial before my new wedding date. I changed the look of my hairstyle from what I originally had done and it turned out to be amazing. I wanted real flowers in my hair and my hairstyle was so awesome with getting that to look beautiful. My florist ran a little late getting my flowers to me and my hair stylists stayed a little late to make sure I got my flowers in my hair. I was so grateful she still stayed to get flowers in my hair. I believe I got a great value for the price. The stylists were timely, made great recommendations and did a great job. I would recommend Pin Me Up Chicago to other brides.

  Company Photoshoot

  This was my first time working with Pin Me Up and I wasn't disappointed at all! Pin Me Up did hair and makeup for a company photoshoot and they made the entire experience so much fun. Tanya was our make up artist and Dana was our hairstylist. Both ladies did an outstanding job and produced exactly what I wanted for my look. Especially for someone like me who doesn't normally do hair or even know how to put on makeup, haha!

  Make-Up and Hair for Brand Photoshoot

  Wedding Make Up/Hair

  Pin me up was amazing! I had them do my bridal party (11 hair and make up applications) and they did a great job. They listened carefully to what everyone wanted and did exactly that. They gave great advice on what color/style would look good on each girl. When I did my trial, I realized I picked the wrong style for my hair. The girls were so flexible and they helped change it to something I really loved. The whole process was easy, fun and overall amazing! I would recommend pin me up.

  I loved working with Pin Me Up Chicago. Ashley did my hair (bride) as well as the bridesmaids and my mother, and we were all 100% happy with the results. I'd definitely recommend Pin Me Up!

  The team at Pin Me Up did an amazing job for myself and my ladies on the day of my wedding! I had a very thorough and organized bridal trial for my hair and was so pleased! Some of my girls got their hair and makeup done and they all loved the end look! Thank you Pin Me Up!

  Professional, punctual, and so much fun

  I really enjoyed my experience with Pin Me Up! Branden (makeup) and Laura (hair) were professional, punctual, and so much fun. My trial was great, and the wedding day was even better. We had hair and makeup done for myself, 6 bridesmaids, and 2 moms, and everyone was done on time and looked amazing. Jessica made things easy as well, quickly replying to any questions I had throughout the process.

  Loved Everything!

  I had Dana do my hair and she was fantastic! She listened to what I wanted and nailed it. She was also super cool and knowledgeable about the entire wedding industry. She even went the extra mile to make sure my headpiece stayed in all night (and it did!) My Step mother and bridesmaids also loved their makeup artist! It was a very effortless and amazing experience. I myself am in the beauty industry so I tend to be picky and I was beyond impressed. I definitely recommend!

  Great Experience!

  Had a great experience with Pin Me Up and they were very easy to work with. Our hair and makeup team were super friendly and accommodating and everyone's hair and makeup looked beautiful! Would definitely use them again.

  Pin Me Up was without a doubt THE ultimate hair and makeup glam squad. As the bride, Jules did my makeup, and Anastasia did my hair, and I was so happy with the outcome. We also had Noemi and Laura who also did a phenomenal job. All of the girls were on time (early in fact), organized, superrrrr friendly, and listened to what each girl wanted. They also got us done early which is somewhat unheard of in the wedding world! Their prices are not killer either, which is great. We could not have been happier with them - thanks Pin Me Up!!!!!
