The hair and makeup team at Pin Me Up was absolutely amazing. Jessica, my makeup artist, made sure I loved every part of my look during my trial and was more than happy to adjust anything I wasn’t completely sold on. Dana even hopped on a call with me after my first trial to make sure everything was looking exactly the way I envisioned, which I appreciated so much.
The responsiveness, communication, professionalism, and kindness from every team member were incredible throughout the entire process. They made me feel completely comfortable and confident, even going into my wedding day hair appointment without having done a trial beforehand.
Despite not having a hair trial, my hair turned out absolutely phenomenal, and I could not have been happier with the final look. Pin Me Up also offered the best pricing for touch-ups during the wedding day, which was such a huge plus.
Truly could not recommend a better hair and makeup team for your wedding day! -

Pin Me Up is a wonderful company and did such a good job with my hair and makeup for my wedding. I was recommended/remembered Pin Me Up from my sister-in-law who used them for her wedding where I was a bridesmaid. I remember loving my hair for their wedding and how everyone looked stunning and knew I needed them for my wedding. Pin Me Up does a great job of matching hair and makeup stylists with you and what you are looking for in terms of vibe. Liz and Frenchie were amazing to work with! They did so well with taking my vision and what I was thinking and making it come alive. Frenchie was super helpful and helped me problem-solve during my hair trial when I didn’t like certain parts but couldn’t figure out exactly how to word it or explain what I really wanted. With some pictures and retrying we figured out a solution during the trial and my wedding day look ended up perfect! My wedding party looked gorgeous and they did such a great job managing different skin types and hair textures as well as styles that people wanted. The price is also unbeatable! I highly recommend Pin Me Up to anyone looking for hair and makeup for a wedding or other event! -

Kim (hair) and Lily (makeup) were the paragon of professionalism. They brought a sense of calm confidence from the minute they walked in on my wedding morning, and I could not have asked for better women to bring the best energy. Kim did an outstanding job on my low-bun updo, and easily made some changes that I requested from our hair trial to give me the bridal look of my dreams, but I was even more impressed with the updo she pulled off for my mom. My mom has 2-3 inch long, very fine hair and Kim created an elegant, regal updo that was absolutely stunning. Lily was equally impressive in her talent. She was extremely receptive to a few changes I requested from my bridal trial, and made everyone feel like brightened, enhanced versions of their beautiful selves. I could not recommend them more!! -

Tanya and Val were incredible to work with. They listened to what I wanted and executed my vision perfectly. I'm not a big beauty gal- I rarely wear makeup and don't often do my hair fancier than simply down and curled and I felt like they executed natural beauty exactly as I had pictured it. And my gals and I had so much fun getting ready with them on the wedding day. -

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Pin Me up (special shout out to Taylor and Michelle) for my wedding day! From the very first trial, I knew we were in great hands. Taylor's makeup artistry was incredible—she really listened to my vision and made it come to life, which eased all my pre-wedding nerves. We had so much fun during the trial, laughing and chatting, which made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable.
On the big day, I felt absolutely stunning! The makeup artistry was incredible—everyone not only created a beautiful look but also ensured it lasted all day without a hitch. The hair styling was equally amazing; each bridesmaid, bridespeople and moms had a gorgeous look that perfectly complemented our outfits. Everyone felt fabulous and received so many compliments throughout the day!
PMU created such a positive atmosphere, making the morning of the wedding feel like a celebration in itself. I can’t recommend them highly enough for any bride looking for talented professionals who are also a joy to be around! Thank you all for helping make my wedding day so special!

Pin Me Up Chicago is absolutely delightful to work with. I had two hair trials and one makeup trial, and felt so grateful throughout the entire experience. On the big day, my makeup by Mei was absolutely stunning, and my hair by Jojo was perfect. I felt like a queen, and everything looks outstanding in the photos. My bridesmaids, the MOB and MOG and flower girls looked absolutely incredible the entire day and night, and the PMU team was so fast and thorough! they got through 12 people in 3 hours. It was absolutely amazing! I could not be more grateful to Mei, Jojo, Caitlin and Sarah for all of their time, work and talent on our wedding day. We felt like movie stars! 10/10 experience. -

Pin Me Up Chicago was excellent to work with! With the many "to-do's" of wedding planning, booking my bridal and bridal party hair and makeup services honestly fell through the cracks. When I reached out, their response time was quick and they were able to fit me in for a trial in the next week.
Jojo and Sandra were amazing! They took my natural style (long hair with glasses) and elevated it, making me feel beautiful and elegant, but also myself. They were sweet, funny, and made the whole process fun. On wedding day, they were even able to add in last minute additions.
I would highly recommend! -

Pin Me Up Chicago did my hair and make-up and one of my bridesmaids’ hair. My other bridesmaids had their hair and make-up done by someone else, and I really appreciated Pin Me Up Chicago being so cool about this. Pin Me Up Chicago was the easiest vendor I had to handle re-scheduling. Jessica was very compassionate to me through those ever-changing times. I originally had my hair and make-up done by two other stylists for my trial since my wedding was postponed due to COVID-19 I had two different stylists for my big day. All of them were very talented and did a fantastic job with my hair and make-up. I appreciated Pin Me Up Chicago not making me have to do another trial before my new wedding date. I changed the look of my hairstyle from what I originally had done and it turned out to be amazing. I wanted real flowers in my hair and my hairstyle was so awesome with getting that to look beautiful. My florist ran a little late getting my flowers to me and my hair stylists stayed a little late to make sure I got my flowers in my hair. I was so grateful she still stayed to get flowers in my hair. I believe I got a great value for the price. The stylists were timely, made great recommendations and did a great job. I would recommend Pin Me Up Chicago to other brides. -

This was my first time working with Pin Me Up and I wasn't disappointed at all! Pin Me Up did hair and makeup for a company photoshoot and they made the entire experience so much fun. Tanya was our make up artist and Dana was our hairstylist. Both ladies did an outstanding job and produced exactly what I wanted for my look. Especially for someone like me who doesn't normally do hair or even know how to put on makeup, haha! -

Pin me up was amazing! I had them do my bridal party (11 hair and make up applications) and they did a great job. They listened carefully to what everyone wanted and did exactly that. They gave great advice on what color/style would look good on each girl. When I did my trial, I realized I picked the wrong style for my hair. The girls were so flexible and they helped change it to something I really loved. The whole process was easy, fun and overall amazing! I would recommend pin me up. -

Cameron Sent on 07/24/2018Pin Me Up was without a doubt THE ultimate hair and makeup glam squad. As the bride, Jules did my makeup, and Anastasia did my hair, and I was so happy with the outcome. We also had Noemi and Laura who also did a phenomenal job. All of the girls were on time (early in fact), organized, superrrrr friendly, and listened to what each girl wanted. They also got us done early which is somewhat unheard of in the wedding world! Their prices are not killer either, which is great. We could not have been happier with them - thanks Pin Me Up!!!!!

Rachel Sent on 12/16/2017I used Pin Me Up to do my bridal hair and makeup, and was very happy with how everything came out. I didn't do a bridal party, so it was just me who needed prettying up, but I was getting ready in the bridal suite of my venue, and was concerned their stylist wouldn't travel to work on just one person (plenty of other places wouldn't). Pin Me Up assured me right away that they had no minimum for traveling, so they would come to my venue to just work on me.
I had Abbey for both my hair and makeup, and she was great. At my trial I showed her photos of some ideas, and she tried two different hairstyles on me to see which I liked better. Then of course I overthought things between the trial and the wedding day and asked if she could make some tweaks on the big day. She said no problem, and got to work. She was very accommodating and friendly with my friends and family who were in the suite with us (including my aunt who couldn't tell the difference between a tube of lipstick and a tube of mascara, and asked if airbrush makeup just blasts air onto my face....).
The true testament to Abbey's good work was when at our first look, my now-husband, who doesn't general notice things like hair or makeup, declared, "You should wear your hair and makeup like this everyday!"
Thank you, dear, but no one's go the time for that. But it must have looked good for him to call it out. -

Anastasia Sent on 10/25/2017Pin Me Up came as a recommendation from my cousin after I had a streak of bad luck scheduling with hair/make-up groups in Chicago. I had a large bridal party and many family members who wanted hair & makeup done at the hotel (Hilton Chicago) and other beauty vendors weren't willing to take on the group size in a reasonable amount of time - even when I offered to pay more for extra help. Jessica from Pin Me Up didn't even bat an eye at the request, allowed 2 hair & 2 makeup artists, and worked with me to figure out a morning get-ready schedule that worked for everyone involved. I really appreciated the high level of service and attention, because I didn't want my family members to not feel included the morning of the wedding.
Jules and Amanda did my makeup and hair, and everything stayed perfect from 10am til the after-party ended at 3am! Also, I was very nervous and unsure about my wedding look, and they made sure I didn't leave the trial until I loved it. Other bridesmaids also commented on how well their hair and makeup stayed throughout the long day. Thank you Jessica, Amanda, Jules, and team for making us all look and feel lovely! -

They were so fast with both hair and makeup for 5 people and we all got tons of compliments all night! Definitely book them if you get a chance. We were all very pleased. -

Jennifer Sent on 11/18/2014I loved Dana and her team! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful and I was very impressed. I had a large bridal party so I was worried about getting everyone in on time, but I was blown away by how quickly Dana and Tiffany. Normally anyone who can do hair that fast is probably doing a sloppy job, but Dana is just great at her craft. All of the girls brought in pictures and the accuracy of what their hair ended up looking like to their picture was spot on...all the girls were very happy, myself included! Aside from the finished product, they were very pleasant to work with. They respond very quickly, had great prices, and were very accomodating. I highly recommend them!
