I booked Stephanie for a Boudoir photography session as a gift for my husband. This was my first venture into this kind of photography, and Stephanie instantly set me at ease. She was incredibly flexible with the scheduling, and worked with me to find a time that worked best. She came to the shoot with great ideas already prepared, but also allowed me to suggest ideas and poses of my own that she then helped me recreate.
The final product is beautiful, and something my husband was blown away by.
There was a last minute glitch in the delivery and it didn't look like the pictures would arrive in time, but Stephanie dropped everything, stepped in, and saved the day.
I highly recommend her, and will certainly use her again for this type of photography.

When I began my journey of wedding planning, I have to admit that I was completely terrified. I knew that it was important for me to have the wedding of my dreams but it had to be done on a budget. I was so blessed to come across Stephanie's page!! Her tumbler showed me so many wonderful things about her work but so much more came with the package . Stephanie was personable and courteous to the highest degree. The work she did for my wedding was outstanding!! She took her time, asked questions and was so accommodating. She even helped put the butaneers on my hubby to be and the groomsmen! <3 I received compliments on her all night long and I also recommended her to a friend of mine for their upcoming nuptials. I can look back on my day and think of a few regrets or things that I would have done differently (more comfortable shoes, lashes...never again lol... Etc)...BUT...Stephanie and her excellent photography are among the few things that I wouldn't have changed for the world. She helped to make my day absolutely amazing with photos that I will cherish for a lifetime! Stephanie, Mr. Washington and I thank you so much for your service!

Stephanie and her mom shot my wedding. They went above and beyond, helping with figuring out the timeline, helping me with my dress, and helping keep things running smoothly.
They had great equipment including back up cameras in case anything went wrong.
They were prompt, professional, and pleasant to work with.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Stephanie! She is an amazing person with a huge heart. She is responsible and flexible. The first time we set up a time to meet, she traveled to a place and time that was most convenient for ME. She paid for our food and gave us samples of her work! I was very impressed with her manner and professionalism. Of course we said yes right away and we did not spend that much money, her prices were more than decent and it included an engagement shoot as well us pictures from the wedding. She made me feel super comfortable and when she saw I was nervous, she made me feel a lot better. Trust me, you do not want anyone else to take pictures of your special event! Stephanie is the one to go to! I am definitely planning on having her be my photographer in the future!!

This company is great. Extremely professional, Quick and affordable. My wedding was Saturday 6/13/2015 and all 400+ of my pictures were beautifully edited and burned on a disk for me by Monday before my husband and I left for our honeymoon.
My photographers were great they caught amazing moments during my wedding. My package include my engagement session and wedding. I had two photographers for 4 hours during my wedding and they also came to my hotel for shots of me getting ready so that I could have a complete wedding album! Overall it was a wonderful experience working with this company and I would choose them for other special events in the future!!!

Stephanie was absolutely fantastic! If there were a rating higher than 5 stars she would get it. I was a little skeptical about finding a photographer online but she was perfect. She didn't just take pictures, she did everything from helping me zip my dress to giving us advise when we were a little unsure on what to do next. The day definitely wouldn't have went as smoothly without her help! Recommending her to everyone!!

I loved every second of the time we spent with Steph. She was so accommodating to my occasionally ridiculous requests, and incredibly talented. I won the lottery when I hired her, she exceeded my photography hopes in every possible way. My bridal portrait made my mother cry!

I found Stephanie by using thumbtack. She was awesome with helping me decide what we needed and making sure my package was perfect. It even worked out through her traveling that she was able to meet with me and we talked about how the wedding would go and what exactly I needed her for. Stephanie and her mother shot the wedding and made everything lovely that day. They were so helpful. I actually texted Stephanie the night before with fear of the rain and being devastated that I would not get beautiful pictures. It did end up raining the day of the wedding but Stephanie assured me that everything would be fine and that she enjoyed shooting in the rain and snow. I wish I could show you my pictures. They are stunning and look like we are in a fairy tale. I am so pleased and you absolutely recommend her to anyone!

My experience with Stephanie started off great. She and her assistant were at our venue on time and assisted us in getting ready for our small, intimate wedding. Everything went well, we paid her and awaited our proofs. The proofs took a while, but we were very pleased with the outcome. We selected our photos for our book and selected the cover and inscription and processed our payment. It took a while for the book to come back. When we received it, there was no inscription on the book as requested. We also did not receive our disc/file of our photos. We have attempted to contact Stephanie numerous times via email and phone with no response. This is the only dark spot on an otherwise very joyous and memorable occasion for my new husband and I. I am hoping that she reads this and will respond accordingly. Thanks.

I really wanted to like Stephanie, but I'm not sure she's in the right line of work. When we initially met with her, she surprised us by bringing her husband and her baby. No big deal of course, but a heads up would have been nice so we knew who we were looking for in the restaurant. In retrospect, this was the first sign of poor communication. Generally, she seemed negative about the wedding industry. Still, not the end of the world--we understand some of the magic is lost when it's your job. On the day of our engagement pictures, it was raining where she lived; however, it wasn't raining at all where the shoot was, just cloudy. She tried to cancel the shoot, but we had prepared for it (hair, nails, off work early) and wanted to have it since it wasn't raining. She showed up, but rushed through the pictures and had an attitude. We took 35-40 minutes worth of photos even though she said we'd get an hour. It never did rain. We waited and waited for the pictures to be ready--she initially said 2-3 weeks. We didn't get them until 7 weeks after the shoot. Communication was horrible. She would ignore emails and calls. At one point, she claimed to have sent the pictures already. When we asked her if she could please send them again since we didn't receive any, it still took weeks for her to get back to us. There were a few nice shots, but overall the pictures weren't what we had in mind. We had discussed editing a few of the pictures in certain ways that never happened. We had brought a sign to hold for some of the shoot, and she never told us it was crooked. It was a sloppy job. We ended up firing her and going with someone else for the wedding itself. We wanted someone communicative, reliable, and who seemed to enjoy their job.

Picture This Photography has taken us on an unenjoyable ride. My husband and I paid for 2 photographers for the day of our wedding. The morning of the wedding Stephanie showed up to my hotel room and said “it’s just me today.” She gave us no prior warning that the second photographer would not be joining her. She also said she would be bringing someone to take care of the equipment for the day so we paid for 3 meals for each of them to have dinner at the reception just for the second photographer and the equipment person not to show up. I blew this situation off because I was not going to let it ruin my day so we agreed that she would send us a refund for the second photographer not showing up. My wedding was 7/9/2016 and we just received the refund on 10/23/2016… That is absolutely ridiculous. We did all we could to get Stephanie to communicate with us and she would not respond, but this is not our only issue with them.
My wedding was very elegant and she was asked to dress in formal attire. She showed up in unprofessional attire and walked around my reception barefooted. If I asked her to take a picture of something specific (ex: bride posing with family or friends), she would act as if she was doing me a huge favor. Stephanie looked miserable all day and had no inspiration for any pictures. After the wedding, my husband and I realized that she never took a picture with him and his groomsmen or of the bride, groom, groomsmen, and bridesmaids all together! This made me very sad. I had so much going through my mind on the day of our wedding that the photographer should have been able to remember to get those traditional types of pictures.
Stephanie admitted to me the day of the wedding that she was not a professional and that she just had an eye for it and picked up some things from her husband. Never got my album either

My experience is pretty much simular to everyone else's. I still do not have my album after 3 years. Numerous efforts of contact with no prevail. Some of my pictures came out really nice and at least they are in a drop box but she never edited any of photos. A bunch of the photos with sparklers were a waste of time, I wish I had spend it with my friends and family versus taking so much time to do them. All my guests left during her shoot.

Scam Artist!

Do not hire this business. Period. She took our deposit and was impossible to get in touch with after that. Made an easy $300 off of me and my fiancé. Led us to believe she was a local photographer in central Ohio under the business name “Wild Heart Photography”. I’m sure she’s working under all kinds of business names. Stay away if you can!

Stay Away from this Vendor!!!

Do not do business with Stephanie. She was hired as the photographer for our wedding at the end of August, 2018. We paid her up front, she took pictures, and then dropped off the face of the earth. For 12 weeks, my wife and I texted, emailed, and called a variety of contacts affiliated with her and her business yet we received nothing in return. No photos and no explanation. We then did some on-line investigation and found that we were not the first couple that she has screwed over. We eventually got our pictures returned but only after we went to her house in North Carolina (the wedding was in Ohio and we live in Colorado) and demanded the pictures be returned. We never spoke with her. This was all done through her husband, John. If you do not want to suffer through the anxiety and heart ache of thinking that you will never see your wedding pictures, stay as far away from her as possible. Also, she does business under either Stephanie Caldwell or Stephanie Dohmlo as well as a variety of businesses (Picture This Photography, Wild Heart Photography, and That Wandering Light Photography). Traveling Scammer

Don’t hire her. She also goes by “wild heart photography” and probably some other names....SHE actually reached out to me through thumbtack. Promised a gallery link, usb drive and album. We communicated via the app and had a contract. I spoke to her over the phone and email her a few times. So I didn’t get any weird vibe from her. Everything seemed good until she ghosted after the down payment....Actually she deleted her thumbtack which should have been a red flag to me but thumbtack reassured me not to worry and to keep reaching out to her. She eventually responded to my emails before the wedding and showed up to the wedding. Took a few pictures and left. I was so busy with my wedding that I didn’t even realized that she and her “assistant” barely took any pictures that day. After the wedding she promised that she would released the pictures in 6 weeks but didn’t. She stopped responding to my emails / calls and only responded after I made a PayPal complaint. Which she asked me to close by the way....needless to say I got my money back through PayPal and filed a complaint with my bank against her to get the first deposit. Unfortunately I did not get my pics which I’m really upset about. This woman is a horrible person and takes advantage of couples during one of the most important times of their lives. I have a still shot from my wedding video of her and will attach the picture of her so other couples knows who she is because you may have a transaction with her and she will show up to the wedding but not released your pics to you.

Terrible Human/Liar/Scam Artist/Thief

"Stephanie Caldwell" or whatever her real name is, is a sick, cruel, heartless individual. I have no idea how a person can be okay living a lie and stealing from others. She took our deposit and never answered us again. She claimed that she got a "Flat tire" on her way to our engagement photos then never answered us again. Thank goodness this happened prior to our wedding day. After reading all of these terrible and similar situations, I am absolutely disgusted on how she can put people through this. I feel horrible for everyone that's dealing with this.

Stephanie Caldwell is a scam artist, she also works under the names of Wild Heart Photography and Wandering Light Photography. She took a cash deposit to shoot our wedding and engagement photos, did an engagement session, then never sent us our pictures, and will not respond to multiple attempts at communication! She will take your money and disappear! Do not use this woman!!!

Take your money elsewhere

Do not use this photographer! Due to the lack of communication regarding our engagement photos, we decided to take the loss and just cancel our contract expecting to get our money back (minus the deposit as per the contact since we paid in full). We didn’t receive a text response back or an email. We filed a claim with PayPal and they gave us our money back after no receiving a response from “Stephanie Caldwell”. She works under “Wild Heart Photography”, “Picture this Photography” AND “That Wandering Light Photography”. Thankfully we found a credible photographer to take care of our engagement photos and she will also be doing our wedding. Do yourself a favor and Google the other companies she works under and read the reviews and BBB! Beware!

Beware of Vendor

Everything with Stephanie was great, up until it came time for them to deliver the finished, edited product. It's been approximately 2 months since Stephanie Caldwell took our wedding photos, and we have received 0 communication from her regarding where the pictures are or when we can expect them. We have emailed at least 4 times, left multiple voice messages, and reached out through their website but have gotten no response. BEWARE OF THIS VENDOR; find someone you can trust to deliver on the promises of your contract and don't fall victim to the same experience we have on such an important day!

The review for Stephanie Dohmlo should be a 0/5. This was a horrible experience and she left myself along with 2 other brides in search of a new photographer within 3 weeks to 5 weeks before our wedding. This was a horrible experience and the quality of her photo's is very poor. She took my bridals in film. Her communication is poor. She is no longer known as picture this photography she's now known as www.thatwanderinglight.com It appears she changes her business name when the reviews catch up to her. Also, when I spoke with her over Thumbtack her name is different. Just be warned and don't waste your money.

I am sad to say that we have not heard back from her for several weeks either, after multiple attempts at getting in touch, and after paying her a $500 deposit. Her website is also no longer active. To all future brides: please do NOT hire this photographer. This company is a total scam! Once you've given her your deposit, you will never hear from her again. Instead of heeding the bad reviews I've read about this photographer, I decided to give her a chance. I thought everything would work out with Stephanie after we met and decided to move forward with using her services for our wedding pictures so we set up an appointment for the engagement session and gave her our deposit. She told us she would be in touch a couple weeks prior to the appointment. We never heard from her. Both my fiance and I have tried contacting her via email, text, and phone call several times with no success. The date for our engagement session has passed and we've yet to hear from her. She never followed through with the engagement session and never tried to contact us back. We are now in the process of looking for a new photographer for our engagement and wedding pictures. As for our deposit, we are currently seeking legal advice for a refund. I have never written a bad review but I feel as though I should in this case to save future brides from the trouble I've had to deal with. Please save yourself the time and hassle. Don't even think about using this photographer.

Such a terrible experience. My wedding is 7/22. I started reaching out to Stephanie on 6/15. I sent multiple emails and tried contacting via phone. When I finally got a response two weeks later, she said she takes Monday's and Tuesday's off. She then scheduled a conference call on a Tuesday at 4pm. I never did hear from her. I reached out via email and heard nothing. My fiancé left a message and no response. I then sent two emails and no response. Also, her website is now inactive. I am looking into options for getting my deposit back. I honestly feel we were scammed. I have since booked another photographer - thank God someone was still available.

This photography company is a fraud. Stephanie Dohmlo and her husband are a THIEF. My wedding was June 2016. She showed only to my reception, she missed the entire ceremony. She sent my husband and I pics via an app called PASS and then sent us a book that was so elementary and unprofessional. When I talked to stephanie about the book and why she would have pictures literally overlapping each other, she did not apologize but said she would fix and resend us the photo book via email for approval. Ot is now DECEMBER and no book, my husband and I can not get a hold of her, she will not return pjon4calls or emails. We were cheated out of our money and still do not have what we paid for. I have to take this woman and her so called company to court. She is so unprofessional. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! She is a CROOK. And I will post a review every day until this woman gives my husband and I a full refund. Stephanie is negligent and ruined a very intimate time for my husband and I.
DO NOT USE HER SERVICE YOU WILL REGRET IT!
