    I absolutely loved Picker's and highly recommend it. I was able to freely walk around with my soon to be sister in laws and mother in law and the lady I worked with was wonderful, she was helpful but not pushy and she actually found the wedding dress I said yes to. I cannot recommend this place enough!

    I read the other reviews before writing this review and I'm pretty surprised! I had great experiences with Pickers! The girls there knew me by name after my first visit and were super helpful and honest. If I asked them what they thought of a dress that I wasn't sure about, they'd tell me! They weren't trying to "sell me," they were trying to help me!
    As far as the "dirtyness" of the place, it's just old carpeting. Yes, they could do with some new carpeting but it's not going to hurt you. And it's not super dirty. Justy dirty-looking and old.
    Two of my bridesmaids bought their dresses here and I bought the flower girl dress here. The dresses took an extra week or two more than what they said but that's retail. It's not their fault that someone in China is taking longer to make your dress than expected.
    The communication issues - I didn't have any.
    The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of when they do bridal shows, they close the store down. That's understandable but it seemed to happen to me a couple times. No big deal. I work right down the road.
    They had the 2nd biggest selection of bridal and bridesmaid dresses in CNY, in my opinion. 2nd only to NY Bride in Syracuse.
    I bought my bridal earrings here, too. They were exactly what I had in mind and couldn't find anywhere.
    I can't speak to their alterations department. My mom is a retired bridal seamstress so she did all of our alterations for us.

    Every time I need a dress I immediately head to Picker's because I know I can always find one I love at a reasonable price. I started out in high school buying my prom dresses there and now they have helped me find the most beautiful bridal I have ever tried on. I have worked with both the 2 daughters and their mother and I am amazed at how well they know their stock and their customers. Every time I walked in I was greeted by name with a smiling face- and for a stressed out bride (like me) that really goes a LONG way. My bridesmaids dresses came in months before the wedding and they fit perfect. I can't say enough about this store and how wonderful they are to work with- their customer service is great and you can tell they are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers!

    The staff were really helpful and professional. We bought my wedding gown, the bridesmaid dresses, my mother's dress, and my wedding shoes at Pickers. The prices were reasonable, the dresses came in quickly, and the seamstress was very good.

    The girls at Picker's were very professional, and personal. They never pushed me to buy a dress I didn't like, but were amazing in picking out dresses for me to try on. After I picked out a few dresses that I wanted to try on, they picked a few they thought I might like. They were amazing, flexible, and so friendly.

    Pickers has a great selection of wedding gowns and bridesmaid, mother, and flower girl dresses. I found the staff to be very professional, every time I had a bad day at work and just felt like trying my dress on all I had to do was show up, and I was greeted by my first name, and they took the dress out of storage for me right away! This is a family owned business in my local community, and I hope they continue to do well! I felt that the Seamstress who did my alterations really ripped me off at $300 for cups, a slight take in on the top and a hook and eye overbustle. She did a great job, the dress fit perfectly, but she was not cheap!

    I went to many different bridal shops and even traveled to Syracuse but found exactly what I wanted locally at Picker's!

    I came here for my bridesmaids dresses and had a great experience! I know Ashley pretty well and she made sure to make the experience shopping and picking out a dress for my girls a memorable experience! A lot of my girls were from out of town so when the dresses came in she worked with them on how to retrieve them and when they could! Myself being an out of state bride, she even sent me a color swatch of the dresses so I could continue to buy items of exactly the color my dresses were. They were a beautiful gorgeous teal color and they had plenty of variety of dresses. Thanks Ashley for helping out with everything!!!!

    These ladies are absolutely unprofessional. I would not recommend this vendor to any bride. The store is very dirty and they never have enough staff to help you:(

    I did purchase my wedding dress here because it was in the price range that I wanted and it was local. The store is very dirty and they are short staffed. They seem to be very disorganized.

    Not like I need a dress but my fiancé and her bridesmaids do. I heard mixed reviews before they all went there. I will admit it is reasonable in price and you can find some good deals. What gets me is she bought an expensive dress about two months ago and was told the bridesmaids would get $40 off if they went there. So this weekend when they went for their dresses they no longer wanted to do that. Apparently the 6 people that all heard the girl say that in person "misunderstood" and "had misheard" her. I have had people since then say that this same thing has happened to them too. Must be their trick to get you back in the door, and since its not in writing or told before you find and order the dresses you're SOL.

    This place is a mess. No one in the store has any clue what is going on and I will never return here to buy a dress.

    The store is run by a mom and her two daughters. The problem is their inexperience and incompetence in running a bridal store. They measured my daughters wedding dress to short and the dress had to be re-ordered. We just received it 2 weeks before the wedding. They ordered the wrong color bridesmaid dresses. There is nothing we can do about it. We are stuck with the color. There was no apology and/or any compensation. I kept calling to find out what was going on and they did not call back whenever they said they would. We finally went in the store and the owner was actually acting like it was our fault they ordered the wrong color. It was very stressful and very disappointing that we do not have the color bridesmaid dresses my daughter always dreamed of. When we went to pick up the dress, they stuck it in a room and disappeared. I had to take it out of the bag, help my daughter get it on and then go find someone to help me lace the back. Overall, very poor attitude and customer service.

    The store is ran by two teenage girls whose mother is the actual owner. These girls were obviously never taught common courtesy, let alone appropriate customer interaction. I went here to try on wedding dresses and left without one based on the negligence of the staff as well as the deplorable condition of the shop. I would not recommend shopping here EVER.

    absolutely an awful experience 100% of the way. First we will start with my MOH. The owner insisted she got a dress two sizes too big and after a hour of arguing with her she finally agreed to order her what was truly a perfect fit. The dress came in two months late which Cynthia felt was no big deal and then come to find out she ordered it two sizes too small and knowing there was no time to correct HER mistake she told my MOH it wasn't her fault and she would have to just make it work. ( it took six months to get the dress and we have one until my wedding). She also lost a receipt honoring a 80$ deposit my MOH had made and would not admit to losing it due to poor business skills until my MOH called her lawyer. Now for my dress... I found the most stunning Sincerity bridal gown, and if i was rating Sincerity it would be 100 stars! However, I paid a 250$ installment after paying 400$ down. My dress came in with a month to spare. When i went to pick up the dress they would not acknowledge the fact I had paid a large installment and after over an hour of arguing--mind you i had a receipt and Cynthia said it wasn't acceptable and i would need to provide other proof of my CASH payment ( including a sales girl threatening to jump over the counter at me and being sworn at by the sales girls) I was told to either repay the money again or my dress would be sent back to china (with only a month until my wedding that wasn't an option). They are awful they are rude, Cynthia needs some serious business intervention or should go to the local community college and take a business class. they don't return the phone calls they promise to return. they are completely incompetent and unaccountable.

    I'm glad Wedding Wire offers a 0 rating, because I simply cannot rate this store anything above that. My mother and sister went to Picker's to purchase their MOTB and MOH dresses. The dresses were pretty, but that's about where anything positive in this experience ended. They said they would call my mother when the dresses were ready for a first fitting. They called - but left a voicemail saying they had another bride's dresses. My mother returned the call but no information was given on her or my sister's dress. She then received a phonecall maybe a week later, stating that their dresses were in the store and they had to come in and pay for them within a few days or they would lose not only the dresses, but the deposit they paid on them. This was weeks before they were told the dresses would be ready, but my mother and sister went to the store and paid for the dresses in full. Confusing and blunt communications, strike one. Strike two wasn't too far behind, they measured my mother incorrectly, so much to the point where she couldn't breathe in her dress when it was fastened. Literally, COULD NOT BREATHE. Did they own this mistake? Nope, so my mother took her dress to another seamstress, who even after trying to let the dress out had no luck. Hundreds of dollars down the drain, my mother ended up having no choice but to find another dress, luckily this time from another store. Seriously, don't waste your time here. There should be a fine for such horrid customer service.

    Please ladies, do yourself a favor and bypass this store. I wanted to go to a bridal shop to support our local community instead of going to Syracuse. From the beginning, it was a huge disappointment. No one helped me try on dresses, or pick them. Many of the dresses were extremely heavy, and after several hours I was pretty tired. Despite the lousy customer service, I did buy a dress there. It's been 6 months. No one seems to know where my dress is. They told me it would take 3 months for my dress to come in. And since the dress was ordered 3 inches shorter, its my fault that the dress is taking longer to come in. Or it's held up at customs. No one calls me back when they say. And every time I call it's a different story. I'm starting to wonder, especially after reading other reviews about Pickers here and on other sites, if I will ever even get my wedding dress.

    Please avoid this shop at all costs. You may like some of these dresses. You may even like the service. You may even get your wedding dress. But why take the risk?

    My mother searched for a dress for my brother's wedding for over a year. She finally found a dress she loved at Picker's and ordered in February. She was told the dress would be in in June. She called last week to check the status. The people were incredibly rude but told her the dress shipped on 5/28. She called again yesterday and was told they would call back which they did not. She called again and found out (23 days before her son's wedding)that her dress is not coming in. This would be stressful enough but the staff at Picker's treated her like a crazy person,were rude and completely unsympathetic. But the cherry on top is they lied to her. That extra week of finding another dress could have made a big difference if they had admitted her dress wasn't coming. She now has 3 weeks to find a dress for her son's wedding. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy go here.
