We are still basking in the afterglow of the most perfect wedding experience on the French Riviera, orchestrated by Phyllis Kent events. When planning a wedding from across the ocean, there is a feeling of nervous anticipation. Phyllis thought of everything! Phyllis is truly exceptional, and working with her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Planning a NYE wedding in Paris as Americans was challenging from the start, but Phyllis was the perfect match for the job and helped us turn our crazy visions into the most magical and dreamy night of our lives.
From day one, she was the perfect planner for us and for the wedding we wanted to create. Her professionalism and organizational skills are also unmatched. Phyllis kept us on top of everything through clear timelines, incredibly helpful spreadsheets, and meticulous cost tracking. She always knew what payments were coming due, what decisions were lingering, and when deadlines were approaching—and she reminded us at exactly the right moments so nothing ever became stressful or overwhelming.
Her vendor relationships and recommendations were outstanding across the board: venue and catering, music and entertainment (DJ and violinists), florals—including a last-minute flower emergency that she handled entirely without us needing to worry at all. Her Paris-specific expertise, ideas, and suggestions elevated every aspect of the experience.
Another thing that truly set Phyllis apart is how much she enabled and uplifted us to be ourselves. We had some very ambitious, creative, and occasionally outlandish ideas, and she never flinched once. Instead of shutting things down, she helped us run with them: work through the details, logistics, and cost figures as if it was her own idea.
On a personal level, Phyllis was an absolute joy to work with. She was flexible when we needed flexibility, always respectful, warm, and on top of everything. Over the course of planning, she genuinely began to feel like family. And speaking of family—she handled our various moments of family chaos with incredible grace, professionalism, and calm.
During the wedding weekend and on the days-of, Phyllis was nothing short of amazing. She was proactive, completely on top of every detail, and unbelievably calming—adding zero stress and removing tons of it, especially during a few panicky moments. Knowing she was there allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every second.
We cannot recommend Phyllis highly enough. If you are looking for a wedding planner who is organized, culturally fluent, calm under pressure, creatively supportive, and genuinely wonderful to work with, Phyllis is one of a kind – just like the magical wedding night that she helped us create. -

From start to finish, Phyllis was absolutely incredible. Her attention to detail, organization, and calm demeanor turned what could have been a stressful day into one of pure joy—for both me and my bride. Phyllis had everything under control, and it showed. We were able to be fully present in every moment because we had complete faith in her.
One of the things that stood out most was how well she got to know us as a couple. She took the time to understand our personalities, preferences, and what mattered most to us. That insight allowed her to make on-the-spot decisions throughout the day that perfectly reflected the experience we were hoping for. It never felt like we were just another wedding—she made it feel uniquely ours.

From the very beginning, Phyllis Kent was an absolute dream to work with as our wedding coordinator. She provided unparalleled support every step of the way, ensuring that the entire process was smooth, organized, and stress-free.
What truly sets Phyllis apart is her meticulous attention to detail. She not only took the time to listen to our vision for the big day but also offered creative suggestions that helped bring it to life in ways we hadn’t imagined. Every aspect of the planning was handled with such precision—whether it was the timeline, vendor coordination, or making sure every little detail (down to the napkin folds!) was perfect, Phyllis had it covered.
On the wedding day, her organizational skills were on full display. Phyllis was everywhere, managing logistics behind the scenes while keeping things calm and running like clockwork. We can’t speak highly enough about Phyllis. Trying to plan a wedding abroad is stressful enough and trying to find the right person to help coordinate is overwhelming. Phyllis was without a doubt the best choice we could have made. She was so organized, responsive, and helped us think through each and every decision. Even though she handled so many of the little details and logistics independently, we really felt that she worked with us as a couple to create an intimate ceremony that spoke to us as a couple and was mindful of our budget. We really felt that she listened to what we wanted and turned our ideas into a dream day. -
