I cant even put into words how happy myself, my husband and our families are with our photos and videos. The amount of love, comfort, assistance, re-assurance and confidence alessandro and his team brought to our day is UNMATCHED. My husband and I get very nervous in front of the camera but alessandro knew exactly how to make us laugh, how to pose us, what moments we did not even know we needed captured he captured. I gave him absolutely ZERO direction on how we wanted our videos and photos edited and yet he completely understood our style and vibe and produced exactly what we dreamed of. I would give 10 stars if I could! Alessandro was so amazing to work with! Planning an elopement ceremony across the world is a little bit nerve wracking, but Alessandro made the whole experience so seamless and easy. He was great to communicate with; in the months leading up to our ceremony there were more than 30 emails exchanged. Even the week of the ceremony he was messaging and touching base to make sure that we were comfortable and ready for the ceremony. Him and his team made the whole experience exactly what we wanted it to be and so much more. The area was a dream, and we just had the best time! We so appreciate the perfect elopement experience that they were able to create for us! We celebrated our wedding with a traditional Mayan ceremony in a cenote in Playa del carmen—a breathtakingly beautiful and spiritual place. From our very first meeting, Alessandro was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive to every detail.

We hired Alessandro and his team for our wedding in Tulum in June. We had 2 photographers, a videographer and officiant/day of coordinator. Let me start by saying how amazing they were answering all my questions! Not being in the area it was a little daunting finding the right vendors. I asked if they would be able to help with day of coordinating, and Paula our officiant was kind enough to do it for us. Alessandro and his team were so professional and had all the right visions. He knew exactly how he wanted us, and where, and with the right lighting. It was everything we could have ever hoped for. This is your sign to stop looking and BOOK THEM!! You will not regret it. We are so happy. -

I'm not a big details person, but photos and video were the biggest thing i wanted perfect for the wedding. We did not go with the wedding photographer that was contracted with the hotel and we found PhotoStudioAB for our location. I couldn't imagine having any other company there on our wedding day. Alessandro and Hector were nothing but amazing as our wedding photographers. My initial impression was respectful. He asked permission to adjust our stances before touching our bodies. Once we okay, he was through and was able to capture the beauty of our wedding Akumal Bay Beach in Mexico. The landscape was beautiful with green palms, ocean view, and white sands. He was able to capture the pre-wedding, ceremony, and reception. All of the photos were perfect. A big bonus was that the photographers were able to enjoy themselves at the wedding during the reception and the guests absolutely loved them. Everyone had nothing but nice things to say about them. I did a 500 photo package and they were ready in 3 weeks. Alessandro sent over previews within a week of the event. His prices were very reasonable and he worked along with my hotel/wedding planner as an outside vendor. We communicated via email and then WhatsApp as we got closer to my event. Absolutely no issues. I would recommend their work if you are looking for a photographer! -

My husband and I had planned a whole wedding in our hometown and it just didn't feel right, on accident we found videos of couples getting married in cenotes in Tulum. We thought it would be an incredible gesture to be able to take out family on a trip out to Mexico and have a really unique ceremony with those closest to us.
Alessandro Banchelli was one of the individuals we reached out to to see if we could make this once in a life time opportunity happen. He was so pleasant, with quick reply times, made our vision really come to life and the pictures he captured were extraordinary.
The package we purchased included mayan warriors performing a traditional ceremony, an english translator, a beautiful bouquet and flower crown for me, transportation to and from the venue, photos and videos.
We were so happy to have found this that we also booked Alessandro for an additional beach photoshoot and every picture was breathtaking. -

Amazing photographer and elopement coordinator
Alessandro was absolutely amazing! He made us both feel extremely comfortable during our shoot. We had a symbolic Mayan ceremony in a cenote and it was the magical experience. Alessandro coordinated the shaman, an arc, a bouquet and boutonniere for us. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous - so vibrant and captivating.
During the shoot, Alessandro went above and beyond to capture shots. He even helped me wipe my makeup because it was SUPER hot during our ceremony. He also translated what the shaman was saying during the ceremony which was greatly appreciated.
We absolutely love our pictures and video. The nature speaks for itself but Alessandro did an amazing job capturing a variety of shots and expressions.
Alessandro was so warm and welcoming from the start of the booking process until the final delivery of the photos. We definitely feel like we got our money's worth. You can't go wrong booking with him!

We found Alessandro here on wedding wire! We had an phone call with him where he was extremely professional and we decided to proceed forward with him after our conversation and reviewing his website. We loved his artistic eye and creativity in taking untraditional wedding photos!
He went above and beyond to come and meet us in person when we arrived in Mexico prior to our wedding. We walked through the resort to plan some good places to take photos and go over all the details. The day of the event, it was perfect. Wonderful crew. Very thoughtful, trustworthy. We are from Lexington, KY flew to Mexico for the first time so we were a little timid on what to expect. We were impressed from the second we met them. We stayed at xcaret arte- a very secure resort- where they came and did blood work (VERY professionally) and the wedding was INCREDIBLE. Very genuine people. If we ever come back to Mexico, we will be getting more photos even if it’s not for a weeding. From proposal to ceremony in Mexico was 5 very fast paced months, so we did not have a ton of time to waste. I found Alessandro/PhotostudioAB on WeddingWire and reached out. Alessandro offered up two private locations, one beach and one cenote. Immediately I knew we had to book our ceremony in the cenote and there was never a question about how perfect this was going to be.
Alessandro was absolutely amazing to work with. Every email came with a hug which as someone who had a ton of stress in a short timeframe was always welcomed!
We worked with Alessandro and decided on floral arrangements, an officiant, and transportation from our resort to the private location. As soon as we got to the site we were in a tropical oasis.
The location was stunning and Alessandro was so sweet and easy to work with.
After our ceremony we took group pictures in the water and then groom and I were plopped in the water for some absolutely breathtaking in-water pictures.
We could not be more thankful for finding Alessandro and having the small, private-ish ceremony of our dreams. Our only regret is that we cannot do this every weekend. -

We chose to get married in Mexico following covid and before we welcomed our daughter into the world.
Alessandro was awesome, we spoke lots on email and took a video call before we committed and Alessandro made sure we took our time to make the right decision after recognising our excitement.
Upon arriving in Mexico we shared our hotel details with Alessandro, who had arranged transport, flowers and post ceremony meal for us.
We decided on two ceremonies, a classic beach ceremony under a pergola and then a spiritual Mayan shaman ceremony in a cenote.
Both were mind blowing. Alessandro knows how to use the environment to capture very cool photos, he also made us feel at ease throughout the whole process.
We are not naturally relaxed in front of the camera but after some light jokes he had us chilled enough to capture some genuine smiles and moments.
The officiant, Paula, was also great! She read a wonderful unique poem for us as well as conduct a sand ceremony which we were able to bring back to the UK with us as a momento of the occasion.
Alessandro was timely in providing the HD images to us once we had returned to the UK, the selection process was easy technically but emotionally there were so many good photos it was hard to chose!
I would highly recommend this experience if you are looking to elope like us. -

Amazing experience!
Alessandro and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the first minute I met him, I instantly felt comfortable. He is extremely talented and is truly an artist. We asked him to edit our photos a little differently than he usually does and not only did he not hesitate, he did an incredible job. He promised our photos within 3 weeks, but we really got them back within 2.5 weeks. We cannot thank Alessandro enough - he truly captured the happiness of our wedding day! -

My wife and I got married a month ago and hired Alessandro as our photographer for 3 different days as it was a multi day wedding. From the moment I met him I knew we were going to get along. He’s a very kind soul and also has a great sense of humour, which I definitely enjoyed especially throughout the week. His attention to detail was very good and he is also very affordable and worked well with my budget for the three days. His turn around time is also insane!!! We had a Mayan ceremony in a cenote near Playa del Carmen and it was like nothing we could have imagined. It exceeded all of our expectations, we felt like we were in a fairytale. We are absolutely in love with our photos, he captured everything beautifully!! Alessandro was incredibly patient and helpful guiding us through the whole thing. Alessandro was absolutely amazing. Being a LGBTQ wedding, he made us feel so comfortable the whole entire time. He was professional, on time, and got every picture we wanted. Booking him was easy. He checked in with us a month before the wedding two weeks before the wedding and then we met him the day before.
I was very skeptical about booking a photographer in Cancun knowing that I lived in California. But I would recommend Alessandro‘s team to anyone again and again. We even had a 10 minute rainstorm during cocktail hour and his team told us it was coming so we could all get under umbrellas. Lol and right after the rain he kept going, super professional! He is very quick! Do not doubt him! Book him!

A first-rate photographer in Mexico
Alessandro arrived the day of the wedding with an assistant. He was there early and prepared. This was a small wedding on Pa'amul beach in July. It was hot and humid, everyone was sweating. Alessandro never missed a beat. He's incredibly hardworking and committed to finding the perfect shot. He knows how to work with changing lighting during a cloudy sunset, he knew everyone's best angles, he knew which moments to capture and which to prioritize. Trust me. You won’t go wrong. Photostudio was so easy to work with. The photographers are amazing- we had the pleasure to meet Alessandro and honestly didn’t even notice him through out the ceremony- the final products were stunning.

Amazing shooting with Alessandro
We found Alessandro through a contact with a wedding planner in Playa del Carmen. The wedding was planned the same day as hurricane Delta. Alessandro and the wedding planner were able to secure the venue for the next day.
Alessandro is a pro. With no preparation on our side, he guided us through poses and framing us perfectly. The photos are stunning. The light is perfect. The photos were delivered 2 weeks later. The whole process is very easy.
We will definatly call him back next time we are in the area to book another shooting.
The venue was the cenote Cristallino, 30min drive west of Playa del Carmen. Check it out! -

Photostudioab is amazing! Before the wedding they always emailed back immediately, they were very pleasant to deal with, their prices are very fair, and we liked the look of their work. The day of the wedding they came to our resort for our destination wedding in Riviera Maya, and they definitely knew what they were doing! They made us feel fairly relaxed (we both get awkward around cameras) and made the photo portion of the event fun! We got one photo back very quickly and they sent us the rough ones fairly soon after the wedding. We love our photos. Not only are they beautiful but there are so many amazing candid ones. There were lots of posed ones, but they are very good at catching the important moments. The video was amazing as well. It makes me cry everytime I watch it, it makes me so happy!
They are awesome and would definitely recommend. -

premium Italian photography in the heart of the Yucatan
Alessandro has been fantastic from start to finish. His services have been second to non.
We were originally recommended his services by a friend who only a few years prior had too got married in Rivieria Maya.
The pictures were fantastic and he was sympathetic to our needs. We are not one for cheesey photos. Alessandro and his team recognised this and the photos they produced were classy, high quality and refined.
I couldn't recommend his services enough if you are getting married in the Mexican Yucatan. -

AMAZING!! Will Not Disappoint
Alessandro is amazing! We truly appreciated his professionalism and care. My wedding was somewhat chaotic after the ceremony because it started to rain unexpectedly, but he kept stressing how important it was for me to stay calm so it wouldn’t show in the pictures. He was very patient and really worked hard to get our photo requests in as much as possible. He even helped corral guests and worked hard to stay on timeline checking in with us as we went about the session to make sure we were good. His price was fantastic for 4 hours with 2 photographers. He guided our posing very well and really invested in his work and took it seriously wanting to get excellent shots for us. Hiring PhotoStudioAB was the best decision we made to capture our special day. We are SOOO THANKFUL! -

Jessica Sent on 01/27/2018We hired Alessandro for our wedding in Mexico this year. I found PhotostudioAB online based on ratings. When I emailed, he was very speedy with responses and always helpful. We had a meeting prior to the wedding once my husband and I had arrived in mexico. Alessandro and the videographer Cris were very professional and explained the process in detail. I felt very comfortable the day of our wedding. Alessandro knew all the poses that were classic as well as any pictures that I requested. They were able to time everything perfectly to capture the girls getting ready, the guys getting ready, the ceremony, family photos, couples photos, and reception. When we got the photos and videos, we were so happy. The photos were beautiful! We received over 400 pictures to chose from and the video (highlights and full video) were amazing. I would highly recommend PhotostudioAB for photos and videos for weddings or any other celebration. SO HAPPY we trusted this company with our big day!
