Have you ever met someone and known right away that they were going to be someone incredibly important in your life? I mean, we're all looking at wedding photographers, so I would assume so, but I mean in strictly a platonic way. That was the feeling when Chris was introduced into our lives and we have Facebook algorithms to thank for that. From Day 1, he made us feel at ease and embraced our quirks amazingly. He is so, so responsive and I can't say enough about how great that has been during this global health crisis. We ended up having to reschedule when we actually got married (from September to a Zoom ceremony in May) and he not only made the time for us to take photos of our Zoom ceremony but was incredibly empathic about the whole thing. When you've been dreaming of your wedding your entire life and then it gets thrown upside down, it meant the absolute world that Chris was able to not only be there to document it but that he truly cared about our happiness and well-being. I can't wait to work with him in the future and I hope you'll do the same. -

Chris was truly fantastic to work with from start to finish! I worked with Chris during a wedding I coordinated a few years ago and he was fantastic to work with - now, I have worked with him under a client/vendor relationship and truly, my expectations were blown! Chris accomodated all of my requests and more. When I wasnt expecting him to be there for a photo, he was there. He truly caught every single moment, big or little and I couldnt be more grateful. He was tactful and not in your face, but also there at every moment. My friends and family were so impressed and so was I! His pricing was reasonable and truly, the product is amazing! Our engagement session was perfect and we love our photos and so was our wedding day! Chris had fun ideas and he brought so much amazing talent and passion to the photography - he showcased our personalities, love, and compassion with ease. I would recommend him any day! -

There are no words to express how grateful we are that we found Photography Stiles! Chris' personality and professionalism shown through from our very first phone call. He instantly made us feel relaxed! We first got to see him in action at our engagement shoot. We were so nervous because we had never had pictures done before. He was there early and scoped out the area so he had a solid plan! He put us at ease quickly by turning poses into fun games and scenarios! We had a blast! The experience alone was great but then we got the pictures. We were absolutely blown away! They were beautiful! We couldn't wait for him to photograph the wedding! Wedding day came and again he was kind, professional, and funny! His knowledge and passion for his craft is enviable. Then as a surprise he had a sneak peak of our photos after dinner at the wedding! What?!! They were gorgeous and were displayed for all on the bar!! It was so amazing and truly magical!! We could not recommend Chris enough! He is truly a master at what he does!! -

Makes you feel like his only couple!
We couldn't be happier with our choice to have Chris as our wedding photographer. With so many wedding vendors, I had to wonder if they were still on track for our wedding or if they'd forgotten about us. With Chris, we never had to worry about that. He was SO attentive, went out of his way to stay in touch with us, and was just so friendly and fun to get to know throughout the process! By the time he arrived when I was getting ready on my wedding day, I felt like we had a good friend showing up. The quality of his photos and his professionalism while making us feel at ease and capturing authentic photos was just the cherry on top. Our pictures are gorgeous! We've gotten so many compliments on them and will always cherish them. Thank you, Chris!! -

Hire Chris, He's the best of the best
Chris is amazing and went above and beyond the best photographer. We first met at a Wedding show at the Oakdale, he and his wife were at the show and I was impressed with their booth. Their personalities were so down to earth and fun, and after I started following Photography Stiles on Instagram it was all history. He is exactly like his is in his reels, dorky, knowledgeable, funny, smart, and very personable. From the start he was very focused on what we wanted to see when we looked over everything. Leading up to the wedding we were experiencing the first stretch of Covid and he was so helpful in setting a backup date and working through all the twists and turns that was 2020/2021. When our backup date came near we did a walk through since he had never been to the location of our wedding, The New Haven Lawn Club. There are so many spots to take photos that we geeked out about them all. When the day came I had complete trust in his work and experience, and he did not disappoint. That day we had so much fun with him and Jen, we basically thought of them as part of the party. We had so much fun taking photos with them. They were warm and welcoming to all our family and friends. When the photos came I was blown away!! These photos are amazing!! I will cherish them forever. -

Amazing Photographer
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chris! I was always a big believer that everything happens for a reason and working with him proved that to be true. I plan weddings for a living and when it was time to plan my own I originally booked another photographer. Well, thanks to covid we ended up postponing twice and ended up with a date that our first photographer wasn’t available for. Enter Chris! I had worked a wedding with him a couple years prior and was so impressed with his professionalism, easy going personality, and of course the beautiful photos that he took- that I knew he was the right photographer for us. He put up with all my calls freaking out about covid and my big crazy family and made it look effortless. Not to mention he got all of our photos back to us in three weeks (which is basically unheard of)! If you are looking for a photographer who takes stunning photos and is an absolute pleasure to work with- look no further! -

Incredible Wedding Photographer!
Chris was everything we were hoping to find in a photographer and more. From day one we could tell how professional, attentive, and supportive he was. From the portraits down to the weather decisions, he made everything easy. Leading up to our day, Chris provided us with a planner so that we were able to specify all the shots we wanted, and to make sure that everyone was on the same page about our day-of timeline. He answered our many questions and gave us guidance regarding our wedding day forecast (it was supposed to rain all week!). On the day-of, he was on time, prepared, and efficient! He worked through our entire portrait list without us having to worry about anything, and captured so many special, candid moments. Chris was also so quick to return our photos- without compromising quality whatsoever. The moments he captured are beautiful, and will be hanging all over our house for the years to come. We can’t thank Chris enough for all of his hard work and incredible skill. We HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding day! -

Best wedding planning decision
My husband and I both full heartedly agree that choosing Photography Stiles was our best wedding planning decision. From the very first phone call with Chris, he was so kind and so focused. In person, his laid back energy immediately calmed us during our engagement session. (Which was SO much fun.) After meeting him, and seeing his beautiful work, we knew we needed his talent and humor on our wedding day as well.
In the months leading up to the wedding, he was always quick to answer emails and offer assistance. Also love the ease of his online platform to make payments and view our photos as well. We so appreciate that he took the time to get to know us and our tastes before the wedding too.
On our wedding day he was beyond amazing. Chris, and his second shooter Jen beautifully captured every moment of that long, and special day, while also helping to coordinate the entire time! So grateful for the extra care and effort they both put in to help ensure everything went smooth.
And of course, forever thankful for our beautiful photos. So many came out absolutely stunning. The mix of arsty shots and traditional portraits was exactly what I was hoping for.
We SO highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, personable, hardworking, beyond amazing photographer.

I am absolutely the Googler! I found Chris by googling "photographer," who actually met and exceeded all of our expectations. I have a lot of friends who are professional photographers, and my standards are very high. It was important to me to have someone that made us comfortable (awkward photos are the worst!), who listened to my wants & needs, and who could capture incredible images. Especially, I came from a very different culture with very different standards of "beauty." I’m glad that we did an engagement session last November with Chris before our wedding to get to know each other more and be that much more comfortable. Chris is absolutely very communicative, flexible, and very detail-oriented. Not only are his images stunning, but his editing and colorwork are more than excellent. Since my parents could not attend the wedding due to the pandemic traveling restriction, the worst part of the process was choosing which photos to print and turn into an album because there are hundreds of incredible photos. I’d highly recommend working with Chris! -

Amazing session with Chris!
Chris was so wonderful to work with! We won the session with Chris via a giveaway he was doing. We were coming from out of town and sat in a ton of traffic- he was very flexible with our start time and was patient to wait for us! He answered all my questions ahead of time and guided us through a wonderful session. He gave us amazing pointers in order to help us get the best photos! Would totally recommend him -

Best photographer!
Chris was literally the best! I met him and his wife kelly last February at a wedding show and I wasn’t looking for a photographer but I was open to seeing others work. I loved Chris’ style and he and his wife are SO friendly and SO easy to work with! We had our engagement photos that June and my fiancée and I were so nervous but we immediately felt comfortable with Chris. I just had my wedding in May 2021 and Chris was just a joy to work with! I highly (11/10 ) recommend Stiles Photography for your wedding photographer! I plan to use Chris again in the future! :) -

We had the best experience with our engagement session. We have never had professional pictures taken but a few minutes in and Chris had us feeling relaxed and having a great time. We LOVE our photos SO much. We haven't stopped looking at them and have received so many compliments on them. The pictures came out better than we ever imagined. We are so happy we went with Chris and feel so confident knowing we will have the most amazing wedding photos too. :) Chris has been so easy to communicate with and provided helpful tips for finding a location for pictures, and a guide with suggestions for coordinating our outfits! Fantastic experience!
My fiancé and I had an amazing engagement session with Chris. We got engaged in March of 2020, and because of Covid looming over our entire engagement, we really haven't had many opportunities to get excited and be in the moment as an engaged couple. For a few hours, all the anxiety of wedding planning during a pandemic went away, and we just had fun. And it shows in the photos! He made us super comfortable, and got some incredible shots! We are NOT models and had no clue what to do, but he guided us through it all. We shot at Harkness State Park, and because of his familiarity with the area, it literally looks like we shot at three different locations. Chris also delivered the photos to us much earlier than we expected. My sister recommended Chris to me, and I've already passed his info on to a friend. You definitely won't be disappointed with this guy! -

Chris was so much fun to work with! We were definitely nervous for our engagement photo shoot as we both can be a tad bit awkward in photos sometimes! You can see how awkward we felt in our first photo and then there's a rapid progression of us feeling more and more comfortable as Chris walked us through the shoot and even shared some tips about photography. He was always super polite and nice! We love our photos and honestly its going to be tough to pick which ones to frame/use for save the dates/etc. He picked a beautiful spot to do the session (Harkness Park), had a plan for if it drizzled (and planned to reschedule if it poured), and also let us do an outfit change halfway through! It was like getting two sessions in one :) Finally, my fiance usually lets us take all of three photographs together before he's "done" but with Chris he actually had some fun!!! -

When perfect strangers become more like family
I first met Chris at a bridal expo and his booth was SWAMPED with people. Despite not having a chance to talk to him right away, I couldnt wait to to back and talk to him. Within minutes of finally getting to meet him, I knew this was the photographer that would fit perfectly into our wedding day! I went home yelling to my now husband "I found our photographer!" Once showing him his website, he said "well what are you waiting for? Go message him before he picks someone else with our date!"
As fate would have it, Chris and Kelley were booked with us only a few short days later! Now I would call our engagement period/wedding planning year a whole lot more complicated than most. Between having to change venues, the loss of my husband's grandmother, cue COVID, and an illness with both of my grandparents, Chris and Kelley were never more than an email, phone call or video chat away. They were always ready to listen to our latest situation, offer advice or solve any problem and be more than ready for us through what felt like a million plan changes with nothing short of welcome arms and a smile on their faces.
Over the last year, Chris and Kelley became more of an extension of our family. The day of our wedding, they were nothing short of perfectly amazing. I was so excited to see them when they arrived and they were so skilled, that I think I heard the camera click only once throughout the entire day. They took the most beautiful photos and somehow were never in the way of anything that we did. We just received our pictures and I honestly cried happy tears the entire time. Our photos are STUNNING. They captured our emotions and the love of everyone that was there so beautifully and perfectly. When I look at these pictures, I see nothing but the true inner light and spirit of everyone there that we love.
Chris and Kelley are unmatchable. They are the best of the best. Do not hesitate to want to include them in your big day, I guarantee you wont be disappointed in anything they do.
They will forever be our family's photographer and I cannot wait to have a reason to see them again!
Thank you Chris and Kelley for making our planning process less painful, thank you for being there for us unconditionally and thank you for the most beautiful pictures. We cant wait to see you again! -

We got engaged February 29th and actually won the photoshoot before Danny actually proposed! Then the coronavirus came and we had to reschedule several times because of the virus restrictions, and he was SO accommodating! The day of the photoshoot, he was early and well prepared. He had a ton of fun poses for us! We just got the pictures back and they are breathtakingly beautiful!!! He did SUCH a great job!!! Please book him for your wedding/engagement and you won’t be disappointed! -

We booked Chris for an engagement session in February 2020, and we are SO glad we did! Chris was accommodating and extremely flexible to fit us in with our own crazy work schedules. He was even able to suggest the best possible day and time that we would be able to get some great sunset shots using his previous experience in the meteorology field...and he was right! During our session, the clouds broke up and a sunset appeared! We couldn't have been happier. The whole experience was fun, relaxing, and really comfortable (even for my fiancé who doesn't necessarily enjoy getting his picture taken). We received our pictures within a week and were able to share them easily with our families via an online gallery.
I cannot express how grateful we were to work with Chris for our engagement pictures. It was amazing to be able to get his advice on when the best timing and day would be for the pictures we were looking to get. He was even able to capture some great shots of our dog! Chris is professional, personable, and great at what he does, and we will be recommending him to everyone we know! -

No doubt in my mind, Chris and Kelly could handle any photography challenge thrown to them.
Chris did my family's four generation photos a couple years as one of his mini sessions, they came out great!!
Then he did my wedding photos last year. Absolutely wonderful! He knew exactly what I wanted ahead of time and knew how to make it happen. And of course the photo editing was on point!

I got married on 01/04/2020 and we chose Chris and his wife Kelley for multiple reasons. Our biggest reason was their wonderful personalities. They are relaxed, calm, and personable, while also extremely professional when they need to be. We also saw their style of photos and fell in love with them. Clean, classic, and elegant are the words that come to mind when I see their photos. Leading up to the wedding day, they were extremely flexible with meeting times for the venue walk through, and had multiple options in mind for where to take our photos in case of rain (which I was very worried about). They can take any personality in stride and set and brides mind at ease. I would know, because I was panicked about rain but knew that they would work it out and keep everything beautiful. On the wedding day, they adjusted to my requested without missing a step, adjusted timelines when needed, and were the most incredible and thorough team. I received so many comments from attendees that every time someone took a photo with their phone during the reception, they were right there to take the photo as well so that everyone could get professional photos from the night. Not only were they fabulous leading up to and on the day of the wedding, they got our pictures back to us in RECORD time. 3 weeks, to be exact. And we got back one sneak peek photo the day after the wedding, because of course he knows everyone wants to post a beautiful picture. They even hand delivered a generous gift with the photo delivery, and tailored the password for our gallery to our personal lives. Photography Stiles is hands down the best photography decision you could make for your wedding. And if you don’t believe me, look at a few of the pictures below! And as an added bonus, they send you an online gallery with a password so you can choose what pictures your guests get to see (we didn’t want anyone having our first look pictures, they’re private to us) and then nobody has to hound you to send them photos because they can download them themselves. Overall, it was just the greatest experience! -

Perfect does not even begin to describe the experience that we had with Chris and Kelley from Photography Stiles and the services that they provided for our wedding. We used them both for our engagement shoot as well as on our wedding day. Chris is extremely easy to work with. He has a laid back, yet professional attitude that makes you feel comfortable in the moment and confident to be your natural self. Let’s face it, engagement shoots can be awkward. It’s most likely one of the first time you're meeting your photographer, and you're expected to kiss laugh, and be intimate in front of someone who is more or less a stranger. Not once did we feel this way with Chris. While maintaining his professionalism, he is extremely down to earth and easy to warm up to. Within minutes, he had us laughing and feeling comfortable. That, paired with his killer photography skills made for some amazing engagement photos. For our wedding, Chris and Kelley make the best team! The work so well with each other, value each other’s opinions, and have a shared goal of capturing all the meaningful moments from your special day. They provided us with the most amazing photos from our wedding. One’s that radiate so much emotion that just looking at them makes us feel like we are back in that moment. Amazing experience! Chris did our engagement photo session and he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He encouraged us to experiment with silly, fun, and sweet, romantic poses and helped us when we needed inspiration. We picked a really unique location with dim lighting, and he embraced the challenge and made us look awesome! He reassured us that we were “nailing it!” and the photos were living proof! Words cannot express how appreciative we are for having Photography Stiles capture our intimate wedding at the Mystic Aquarium. From the initial phone call to the final minutes of the reception, Chris remained professional throughout!
Our ceremony was outside, and the sun had set about an hour before we walked down the aisle. That did not affect the quality of photographs, as every single shot was beautiful! Chris also did a great job blending into the background, while managing to capture even the most detailed of shots.
Chris was amazing and I would recommend Photography Stiles to anyone who wants quality, down to earth and all around great people to work with! -

Great photos!!!
My fiancé and I won a contest for a free engagement photo session with Chris!! From the beginning Chris was super responsive and so easy to work with! We decided to have our engagement photos taken at Lyman Orchards. My fiancé and I were both a little nervous to have our pictures taken but Chris made that day so much fun for us and made us feel completely comfortable. We had some special spots around the property that we wanted to get some shots at and Chris worked with us to make sure we got the most perfect photos!! We are currently still searching for a wedding venue but we are definitely going to be booking Chris as our wedding photographer!! Our engagement photos came out soooooo AMAZING!!!! -

Photography Stiles did an amazing job capturing our wedding day! From my first phone call with Chris I knew that they would be the perfect choice for us. Throughout the entire process they were professional and easy to work. On the day of our wedding they showed up early and were able to capture all the details of our venue. Our wedding day was rainy and grey right up until the ceremony, and it was so helpful that Chris has a background in weather. I knew I could trust his decisions (and the sky cleared just in time!)
Chris and Kelley made our entire bridal party feed comfortable and at ease from the moment they arrived. There were so many incredible and special moments that he managed to capture so perfectly, and so naturally, which is just what we were looking for. The family, bridal party, and couple photos are everything we could have asked for.
So many of our guests and family members commented on how great the photography team was throughout the ceremony and reception. Chris and Kelley were able to blend into the scene so perfectly and capture such a range of photos from the day. Some of our favorite photos are of our friends and family celebrating and dancing during the reception. They have a passion and enthusiasm to capture every moment and the final results blew us away! We couldn’t have wished for anything more and we would absolutely recommend Photography Stiles!

We started with a secret photo shoot while I proposed and we absolutely love how they came out capturing the moment so perfectly. Then for our engagement photo shoot, literally the very first photo taken was used for our save the dates. The rest of the photo shoot was great as well - Chris had a great plan for types of shots since we weren’t all that sure of what we wanted. It was cold and windy out that day and he got so many different shots and it didn’t take too long but we weren’t rushed at all either. Great experience with Photography Stiles! They also did our wedding and it was incredible. They got all the shots we wanted and also were keeping an eye on the weather to make sure we didn't get rained on. We were finishing up a few shots outside and Chris told us we had 1 minute before it rains... got our last group shots in and it started raining just as we were walking through the door. -

Chris was wonderful to work with from the first phone call down to the photo reveal the month after our wedding! He was very responsive through the whole process and went above and beyond with details like setting up a projector with a day-of sneak peek during our reception and sharing his favorite wine with us while we met with him to view our full gallery. Not to mention the photos are beautiful and tell the story of our day so wonderfully! I felt at ease on my wedding day knowing Chris had us taken care of. -

If you are looking to hire a genuinely nice person to photograph your wedding, Chris is your guy. He has been so easy to work with and very accommodating through every phase of the wedding process (pre-wedding through post-wedding). He does a great job of making you and your wedding feel like a priority.
