Ramy and his wife Nancy are an incredible duo. Ramy has a clear creative vision and made taking photos feel natural and easy — which is saying a lot since my husband and I are not “picture people.” Nothing felt staged or forced.
Ramy created our photo timeline and it worked perfectly day-of. Having Nancy as the second shooter was a huge bonus — Ramy focused on portraits while Nancy captured beautiful candids.
He delivered 40 edited sneak-peek photos the very next day, which meant so much to us since neither of us had our phones on the wedding day. The night shots especially were stunning, and those sneak peeks alone have us counting down until the full gallery. -

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Ramy and Nancy are absolutely amazing! They are so fun, personable and truly the BEST at their profession! Ramy and Nancy kept photos before and during the wedding smooth, stress free, and had great ideas for breathtaking photos along the way. They had our entire bridal party smiling, laughing, and feeling comfortable all day, which truly made our wedding day even more special! Nancy is incredibly detail oriented and would make sure everything was beyond perfect before each photo was taken. Our sneak peak photos turned out amazing, and each photo perfectly captured the day! I highly recommend Ramy and Nancy! -

Ok so this review was so hard to write just because I can’t even put into words how amazing Ramy and Nancy were to have as the photographers at my wedding.
To say I am a big picture person is an understatement. I LOVE pictures. So it was incredibly important to me that my wedding pictures were everything. And, oh my god, did they deliver.
I can’t explain how obsess I am with the photos. I want to print every single one 😂 which would be super expensive since there are SO many. I literally can’t even pick a favorite because I love them all.
On the day of, I was so nervous until they got there. They are the friendliest people, and it’s easy to feel like you’re around family with them. Nancy helped bustle my dress on and off as needed for pictures. They were so amazing to work with. My husband told me he would love to go hang out with them one day and I would obviously not be opposed 😂
They sent preview pictures literally the NEXT MORNING. I was so excited. Getting all the pictures back, I could not be more happier with my decision.
One other thing, that I do not want to forget to mention is that when we did our engagement pictures, it down-poured as soon as we got there. We only got a few pictures in. I was so upset being that I got hair and makeup done all for that day. Ramy was so sweet and offered to redo the shoot on a different day. It makes a world of a difference when you have a vendor that really shows you that they care about their clients and their happiness.
If you’re looking for an amazing photographer team to literally make sure your wedding pictures are everything you could ever want, look no further. Book them right now. You will not regret it, I promise. -

Ramy did an amazing job capturing every special moment of our wedding day. His passion for photography and his talent he’s clearly shown in every picture he takes. He knows exactly how to position you according to the lighting, his creativity captures poses that I would not have even thought of doing. His assistant Nancy did an amazing job capturing candid moments as well! We could not have asked for a better photographer. He far exceeded our expectations! -

We don't have enough good things to say about Ramy! He was so amazing to work with and produced the most beautiful pictures. He went above and beyond. A Phenomenal Visionary
My husband and I truly believe we chose the most phenomenal photographer in the business --Photography by Ramy. Words cannot begin to express how truly astonished we are with their work, but let me try. Ramy is an artist behind the camera, and Nancy is equally amazing and magnificent. From the first time we met Ramy we knew he was the one. He did not pressure us into a decision. He actually encouraged us to meet with other photographers and see what they had to offer. His work is truly astonishing, but that is only a portion of what makes him the best photographer around. He is also one of the kindest, most talented and passionate people we have ever met. Nancy is just as passionate and wonderful as Ramy. My husband and I had a small ceremony due to COVID and Nancy was our photographer. She took the most amazing shots. Every picture was phenomenal! There wasn’t one picture that we didn’t love. Ramy and Nancy photographed our larger ceremony in October. I have to say that Ramy is a visionary. As I stared out of a hotel window, staring at a parking lot, Ramy captured an image of me that is beyond beautiful. He has an impressive, creative knack to glance around an area, see and then create a picture that will amaze you. Picture after picture has left us in awe of his work. Ramy and Nancy made taking a hundred pictures enjoyable and amusing (my husband is a firecracker). It never felt awkward or forced. They truly felt like they were a part of the family at the wedding. They are the whole package and so fun to be around. Nancy even put my veil in and took it out, and bustled my dress, to the great relief of my mother and Maid of Honor. Not even 24 hours after our wedding was over, Ramy had already posted 58 of our pictures! They are jaw dropping and captured the magic of the night. I feel blessed to have found Ramy and Nancy; you should look no further when choosing a photographer. They have given us the most sensational memories which will last us a lifetime. Make one of the best decisions of your life and choose Photography by Ramy for your wedding or any photography needs. We look forward to working with them in the future. Ramy and Nancy will be our number one go to for all our photography needs from now on! -

My husband and I were married on May 3, 2019 and we feel so lucky that we found Photography by Ramy! First and foremost, we loved Ramy’s work that we saw before we made our decision. Our first meeting with him sealed the deal. His passion for his work and dedication to capturing our special day and delivering the absolute best shined through in our conversation.
We did our engagement photos on a cold day in December in downtown Philly. Ramy’s energy and creativity that day were top notch. After that experience, our minds were at ease that we had chosen the best photographer for our wedding day.
On the wedding day, he certainly did NOT disappoint. It was a pleasure meeting Nancy and they were both very calming influences on a day when emotions were high. Nancy and Ramy very obviously work together seamlessly and they were also great with coordinating with our videographer and managing all the different personalities, ages, and levels of cooperation from our guests. Nancy went over and above to even help my MOH button my dress!
Throughout the day and shortly after, we got sooooo many compliments from our bridal party, family and friends about how much everyone loved our photographers!
We had 50 pictures from Ramy within 24 hours and the rest were ready within a few weeks. It was great to have pictures quickly. But, most importantly, the passion, creativity and energy that went into to capturing our wedding , were evident in each and every picture.
I would give Ramy & Nancy 1000 stars if I could. They are amazing at what they do and also really nice people to be around! I don’t think you can go wrong by choosing Photography by Ramy for your wedding!

Hands down the best!!
The best decision we made in our wedding planning process! Ramy and Nancy are a great team. The whole day went smooth and our photos turned out far better than we could have ever asked for. Even our guests are still talking about how friendly and professional they were. I’m so glad we have these amazing photos to look back on forever! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! -

Ramy and his wife Nancy were incredible to work with! He was the only photographer who asked to meet with me in person when I expressed interest in his work. It was clear from the start that he is extremely passionate about his work and determined to make every shot perfect. The day of the wedding, Ramy and Nancy helped to ensure the timeline unfolded seamlessly. They were directive (in the best way!) and communicated effectively with the bridal party to make sure that each picture was exactly as they envisioned. My husband and I felt so comfortable having them by our sides throughout the day. The following day, Ramy had already posted an album with 52 highlight pictures. Every photo is AMAZING! I have received so many compliments from guests on Ramy and Nancy's friendliness and how incredible their work is. You need Ramy for your wedding! -

If you are looking for the most perfect wedding photographer look no further!!! Ramy & his wife Nancy are truly an amazing team. From first phone conversation I knew Ramy would be the perfect fit for us & I was right! Ramy and Nancy made us feel comfortable from start to finish during our wedding. They actually made it fun taking pictures. Nancy was SO helpful to me while I was getting ready. She could tell I was getting anxious and found a way to calm me down. My slip ended up being too big so she pinned it for me. Later in the evening she could tell my slip was bothering me, so she took me to the bathroom to help me take it off. Throughout the entire day Ramy and Nancy made sure we were comfortable and having fun. Our entire bridal party loved them as well. They have such a creative vision with the photos they take. I’ve only seen a sneak peek of our photos but the ones I’ve seen are absolutely breathtaking. Our photos look like they belong in a fairytale book. I can’t wait to get them all back! Our friends and family can’t stop raving about how wonderful our photos are. I have a few family members getting married within the next year and you better bet that I will be recommending Ramy to them. They would have to be crazy not to book them. I would choose to book Ramy & Nancy a million times over! I honestly can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us on our wedding day! -

Joe Sent on 06/14/2018There are two things to remember, 1) you want this special day to be perfect, and 2) you'll be looking at these pictures for a life time. Ramy photographed our daughter's wedding and he excels in both of these aspects. He has great interpersonal skills and knows how to gently but firmly usher the wedding party into required photographs (without acting like a storm trooper), that results in amazing candid photos/memories. Lastly, forgive the father of the bride for this comment - he is very reasonable on price. You get more than you paid for!

Danielle Sent on 06/05/2018My husband and I were married on 3.3.18 and struck gold with our photographer! I can’t even begin to put into words how incredible Ramy and Nancy Gendy are. Ramy and his wife Nancy are both such a down to earth, funny and creative people that were truly a pleasure to work with. From the minute my husband and I met Ramy at a local Starbucks we knew he was the photographer for us. Ramy was very clear about the services he provided, pricing, and how he felt the day would run. Initially, my husband and I were very concerned about how we would photograph together and whether we would look awkward on camera. Ramy quickly put all of our fears to ease during our engagement shoot and made it seem like he wasn’t even taking pictures.
When the day of our wedding came, Ramy showed up early even though there was a huge snow storm the night before. The second he arrived he jumped right into work. Ramy and Nancy were able to capture the most beautiful pictures in the snow and every single picture was STUNNING. Nancy wasn’t just an extra photographer that day. She was amazing and constantly helped me fix different things from my veil to my dress and makeup. Ramy and Nancy took over 2,000 pictures at our wedding and every single one truly captured our amazing day. Ramy was even kind enough to post a preview album with 30+ on his Facebook the next day!
Along with the engagement shoot and the wedding day photos, we also received a wedding album. Our album is outstanding! It is beautiful and I couldn’t believe how heavy it was, due to the thickness of the cover and pages which really give a great feel when looking through the album. Each photo is crystal clear and the arrangement and layout they created really makes it feel like a book of art, not just a series of photos. We will forever cherish this experience with Nancy and Ramy. They are both incredible photographers that truly care about the work they do!

Ashley Sent on 06/04/2018Ramy photographed my wedding about a year ago and I can't remember if I posted a review here. He's wonderful. So friendly and professional. His wife is also amazing. She helped me with my dress which was extremely nice of her to offer. He listened to us, offered suggestions. I've seen some photographers that are pushy and rude to guests, not them. I still have guests that rave about their professionalism and talent. Highly highly recommended.

He (and his wife) were so friendly and easy to work with. He put together our album for us and it is absolutely beautiful - and we got it, and all of our other photos, so quickly! Audrey Sent on 11/21/2017From initial contact to last hug goodbye, Ramy Gendy is an exceptional photographer and person! My daughter/Bride found Photography by Ramy and reached out to him. He responded to her within a couple of hours, set up an appointment to meet and filled me in. Ramy was more concerned about how to please us rather than sticking to an established outline. I spoke with him shortly after my daughter met with him, and I was very happy to sign the contract. The engagement photos were incredible and the wedding photos are breathtaking! Within 12 hours, Ramy had photos posted and everyone has commented how magnificent the photos are. Someone said to me how you didn’t see the candid pictures being taken, but Ramy didn’t miss a thing. Highly highly recommend!
