A beautiful day captured by Lauryn
Lauryn made the day fun and relaxed! We all knew where we needed to be and was able to make everyone at ease when taking our picture. Especially the bride and groom! Many creative venues I wouldn't have thought of including the beautiful bathroom at the Dalcy! I would highly recommend Lauryn as she has been great to work with even after the wedding and helped capture the most amazing day ever seeing my daughter get married to the love of her life. -

Lauryn is truly the best at what she does.
As we started planning our wedding, my husband and I were both nervous about photography - we weren't entirely sure how to articulate what we wanted and felt nervous about how we would photograph (we're both awkward in front of a camera). During our first conversation with Lauryn, those concerns completely disappeared, as she quickly put into words the vision we had in our heads.
Lauryn (and her second shooter, Chelsea) helped us, our wedding party, and families feel comfortable and truly seen through the entire event. She gave easy-to-follow directions and even let us preview some of the pictures as we went so we could adjust ourselves if needed.
Most importantly, we got some of the most beautiful and creative pictures that we will truly cherish forever. Thank you again, Lauryn! -

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Lauryn! She was SO organized, she made us feel comfortable and the photos turned out absolutely INCREDIBLE. I never know how to pose or look natural in photos, but Lauryn worked her magic and somehow made everything look so candid and effortless.
Our wedding day was probably the hottest day of the year with high winds, but Lauryn was so efficient and made it all feel easy. Somehow, we didn’t look like we were dripping sweat which is a miracle in itself!
We seriously couldn’t be happier. The photos are bright, beautiful, and exactly what we hoped for. She was so fun to work with, and I genuinely loved all of her suggestions. We’ll definitely be using her for our family photos in the future! -

Working with Lauryn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the engagement shoot to the wedding day itself, she captured the truest form of our relationship through her thoughtful prompts and natural posing suggestions. She has a gift for making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, even in moments that could otherwise feel awkward, and the results were stunning and authentic.
On the wedding day, Lauryn was incredible—she took charge from the moment she arrived, using her time so efficiently. She got detail shots done while I was still getting ready, took a leadership role coordinating with the rest of the media team and planners, and kept the bridal party organized so we could get all the important shots without feeling rushed. She knows the right order to work in, the cues to give, and how to make everything run smoothly.
What I loved most is that Lauryn brings her own creative ideas and unique style, but she also frequently checked in to make sure my own vision was included. She brought to life special touches I had dreamed of, like incorporating my dog and my dad’s vintage car into photos. Her thoughtfulness in blending her expertise with our personal ideas made the photos even more meaningful.
Beyond her artistry, Lauryn is a true professional. She is kind, warm, responsive to emails, and has an organized website portal and contracts that make everything so easy. I never once felt confused working with her—everything was clear and stress-free.
I can’t recommend Lauryn enough. She is not only an amazing photographer but also someone who made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. -

It’s hard to express how highly we recommend hiring Photography by Lauryn! She is an incredibly talented photographer and genuinely wonderful person. From our first meeting, to our engagement photos, to the constant support provided during wedding planning, and finally capturing the best moments from our big day, Lauryn was extremely professional and great to work with through it all. She tailors her approach to fit your needs and made our photo sessions fun, comfortable, and enjoyable. Lauryn did a phenomenal job keeping us on track with our wedding timeline and pivoted quickly when the inevitable day-of changes came up. Lauryn and her second photographer, Chelsea, worked together seamlessly and didn't miss a single detail or photo we requested. Not to mention the invaluable support, advice, consistent check-ins, and overall great vibes throughout the day!
Our engagement and wedding photos are stunning, and we have received endless compliments from our friends and family about Lauryn and our photos. Lauryn was the best vendor we worked with, and we couldn’t think of anyone else we’d want to photograph our wedding. Best Photographer Out There!!
Where to even start?!?! Lauryn is INCREDIBLE!! I cannot recommend her enough! Lauryn was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding and I knew she would be from the moment we met. Not only is she an incredible photographer, but she is personable, funny, organized, a great communicator, and is a wing woman on your wedding day! Lauryn is comfortable wearing all the wedding hats and does it flawlessly. She helped me build my wedding day timeline and helped me get ready on the day of - I wish I got her a bridesmaid dress, she’s that involved! Lauryn made sure we stayed on schedule and directed us with ease, which I wasn’t sure would be easy with the loud, crazy group we had, but she crushed it! She got all the shots we asked for and SOO many more. My family and friends are even raving about how incredible the photos turned out. I truly feel like I find a new favorite photo every time I look at our photos. They are all that amazing! Also, not only are her photos beautiful, but she made both our engagement pictures and wedding day photos so much fun and constantly had us laughing (seriously, I’m grinning ear to ear in just about all of our photos)! If you’re nervous about taking photos, you won’t be with Lauryn. She makes you feel so comfortable, even my husband enjoyed getting his GQ model on.
You can tell Lauryn truly cares about her work and her clients, and works to build lasting relationships with them all. She listens, cares, and wants to learn about you as a couple. She was able to capture our wedding day true to who my husband and I are. From the start of the day to the end, Lauryn’s photos capture all the special moments perfectly and beautifully. You can feel the emotion, laughter, love, excitement through the photos, and we will cherish them forever!
Added bonus, her return time is unbeatable! Most photographers quoted me with months return time, but not Lauryn. We literally had our engagement photos back in days and our wedding photos in 2 weeks. Talk about soaking up all the moments while you’re still on that wedding high!!
I could go on and on about how much we love having Lauryn as our photographer, and it was the absolute best decision we made, but I feel like everyone should find out themselves, therefore - BOOK HER NOW! You will not regret it! -

Lauryn will make your big day seamless!
Lauryn is not only a spectacular photographer, but her organization and lively personality make working with her for your wedding such a great experience. We were nervous about engagement photos as neither of us are super comfortable in front of a camera, but she made us feel at ease, knowing exactly how to guide us and make us feel natural.
We are a type-A couple, so Lauryn's professional platform was another huge benefit to working with her. Lauryn's portal houses all your information, she sends regular check lists and questionnaires to ensure she has everything she needs and is extremely communicative. This made us feel so supported throughout the planning process.
Lastly, on our wedding day she was such a pleasure have with us. She corralled our friends and family to get things done efficiently without sacrificing quality--allowing us to enjoy our big day to the fullest. We received a sneak peek within a few days, and the full 1,000+ images in less than 2 weeks. And they were STUNNING. We couldn't stop reliving our wedding day through her photography, and we'll forever be grateful for Lauryn's talent. -

Lauryn is THE perfect photographer. It literally took me 3 months to write this review because I could not figure out how to best put into words how much she meant to me throughout my wedding journey, or how amazing she is at her job. I randomly stumbled upon her via Instagram and instantly fell in love with her style - light, bright, colorful, airy, and every person in her photos looked so genuinely happy. I spoke to a few different photographers, but after my call with Lauryn I knew she was it. She is somehow mind-blowingly organized and deeply chill at the same time. I felt heard and understood in all of our communication, but anytime I hit a roadblock or felt uncertain about timing or locations or whatever, she always had a solution to the problem ready to go. Lauryn has so much expertise, knows Chicago SO well, and is truly one of the most innovative and quick-thinkers I've ever met in any profession. And on top of all of that, SHE'S SO MUCH FUN! Being with Lauryn throughout our wedding day felt like having another best friend to hang with. She and her second shooter Chelsea made everyone feel so at ease, even those who didn't feel as comfortable in front of the camera. And somehow amidst wrangling family members and braving wind and rain and running between and throughout venues, Lauryn managed to capture candid interactions and extremely special details that I never would have even thought to ask for. Her eye for key moments is other-worldly, and I am so beyond grateful it was her in the room preserving them while we all just lived the day as a beautiful blur. I could not recommend hiring this sunshine human more - 1000/10!! -

I had been following Lauryn since 2016 when she photographed my best friend's wedding. I have watched her grow over the years and I knew she was the one for when it was my turn. I booked Lauryn before any other vendor and even our venue. She made the whole wedding planning process super easy. She helped with not only photography questions but has a great reference list of other vendors. She has great attention to detail and nothing got left out. Her forms of communication and online portal help make sure nothing is forgotten leading up to your big day.
Lauryn photographed our engagement photos. This was a great trial and practice before the big day especially for my husband. He learned it wasn’t that scary to be in front of her camera but actually a lot of fun. I was honestly worried about how my husband would look in all our photos but with Lauryn’s fun personality she can make anyone feel comfortable.
Our wedding photos are more than photos, they tell the story of our day and show the love, laughter and happiness. We highly recommend Lauryn to photograph your wedding day, you get more than just photos when you book with her. -

Lauryn was SO amazing to work with!! She made our entire process from booking, engagement session, and our wedding such a stress free and fun experience. We are not the couple that takes pictures, but Lauryn made us feel so comfortable and our pictures turned out beautiful!! Everyone has given us so many compliments! We would highly recommend her to any of our friends getting married. We also got our entire wedding album that had over 1,000 photos in less than two weeks!! She always got back to us if we had any questions quickly. She was willing to hop on a call at any time. She even let us get pictures with our fur baby the day of the wedding!! I teach 9 year olds how important an opening “hook” is in their writing, yet I can’t think of one that conveys everything I need it to! So this sums it up: LAURYN IS THE BEST OUT THERE! Lauryn brings an easy-going attitude coupled with expertise and organization that will leave you forever grateful. She is extremely communicative and always one step ahead throughout the planning process. From engagement photos, to mocking up timelines, coordinating wedding party outfits, offering opinions on venue details, and just checking in, Lauryn is there for you each step of the way. I was told several times “I wasn’t that stressed for a bride”, and Lauryn definitely deserves the credit! Lauryn played a huge role in making my wedding day feel seamless. Lauryn’s talent and work speak for itself, so I had no doubt she would capture our day beautifully. However, I was blown away when I received a hundred images just days after my wedding, and then fell in love with hundreds more in my final gallery. If you are thinking about working with Lauryn, there is no better decision you can make!!! -

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding last summer and Lauryn was the photographer. I immediately knew I wanted her to capture our wedding day when the time came. From our first phone call she was so professional and immediately made us feel so comfortable, like we’ve known each other for years. She traveled to our destination and made our entire wedding day so special. Our photos are everything we hoped for and more! Everyone at the wedding raved about how amazing our photos were and how great Lauryn was throughout the day. She made us feel so calm and confident in front of the camera.

Lauryn is the best!
I WISH I COULD GIVE LAURYN 100 STARS! I cannot recommend her enough! Our engagement session with her was a blast, and our photos were absolutely BEAUTIFUL. She was quick to communicate details and suggestions though every step of the wedding planning chaos. When our wedding day was greeted with an unexpected guest (RAIN!), Lauryn was diligent and quick in modifying our plans to accommodate! She was even able to round up our large wedding party (28 total!) and efficiently capture ALL of our bridal party photos outside during a break in the rain! I am so thankful for Lauryn’s expertise, our trust in her allowed my husband and I to remain completely stress-free and enjoy our day. Not only is she a rockstar photographer, but Lauryn was able to assist with plethora of wedding duties including securing my veil, making sure I had eaten, covering me from the rain, and helping my sister bustle my dress. She constantly checked in with us throughout the reception, keeping us posted on our timeline. We couldn’t believe the STUNNING photos she sent as a sneak peek the DAY AFTER our wedding! Words cannot describe how perfectly Lauryn was able to capture our day. Within 2 weeks we received our ENTIRE gallery! Every time I look at our wedding gallery, I can’t help but smile because they truly capture all of the happiness and love everyone felt! Shooting with her was so fun, and her caring, sweet personality had my husband and I plus our friends and family sad to see her go at the end of the night! I am confident there is not a more passionate, personable, professional, efficient, and trustworthy photographer than Lauryn, and booking with her was the hands down the best wedding planning decision we made! -

Lauryn did both our engagement and wedding pictures and blown away is an understatement to describe how amazing our photos were! Lauryn puts all her heart and soul into her work and it shows. I am speechless….Lauryn is TRULY a godsend. From the first moment we met Lauryn via Zoom, we knew right away that we were going with her. She is so warm, sweet, and the kind of person you feel like you’ve known for years! She genuinely wants to build a relationship with you and your significant other. During our engagement session, my now husband and I felt so comfortable, which is so important. Lauryn showed us several of the pictures off her camera during the session which was so helpful! That same night, she sent us 2 pictures as a “preview” - I was stunned! I was thinking we would have to wait weeks… nope! We got our fully edited pictures within a week.
The day of the wedding, Lauryn went above and beyond the entire day — She was more than a photographer that day! She bought a few of the bridesmaids McDonalds and even was the one to bustle/unbustle my dress! Lauryn knew how much my dog meant to me and carved out time to capture INCREDIBLE pictures that I will forever cherish. She is organized and kept everyone on schedule. I truly did not feel an ounce of stress because of Lauryn. You are not waiting weeks and weeks or months to receive your pictures. As a bride, we are so anxious to see our pictures and Lauryn 100% understands that! The NEXT day I received a few pictures from the wedding… the NEXT day. Within 2 weeks, we received all of our pictures!!!!
Lauryn is truly passionate about what she does and it shows in her pictures and the relationships she builds with her clients. My husband and I are forever grateful for Lauryn and can’t wait for her to capture baby and family pictures in the future!! -

Lauryn was undoubtedly the best decision we made for our wedding. From the moment we got engaged, she was the first vendor we booked, and looking back, we couldn't have made a wiser choice. Our trust in her talents stemmed not only from her stunning portfolio but also from the fact that she had previously photographed my best friend's wedding several years ago. Seeing the breathtaking moments she captured for them, we knew we had to have her as our photographer too.
Lauryn's attention to detail is simply unparalleled. Every aspect of our wedding day was captured with such precision and artistry that we were left in awe when we received our final photos. Her ability to capture the essence of each moment, from the grand gestures to the intimate exchanges, is truly remarkable. We were able to relive our special day through her lens, and for that, we are forever grateful.
One of the things we appreciated most about working with Lauryn was how comfortable she made us feel in front of her camera. It's natural to feel a bit self-conscious on such an important day, but Lauryn's warm and friendly demeanor instantly put us at ease. There aren't enough characters to post my full review, but overall Lauryn managed to capture the spirit of the day from start to finish, including the little touches I worked so tirelessly on. She truly thinks of everything, gives the wedding day her all, and is worth every single penny of her investment cost and honestly so much more. Look NO further for the BEST!
Lauryn is the BEST photographer EVER! Coming from a bride that used to be in the industry...hiring Lauryn was the BEST decision I made. We found her through my best friend using her as their photographer and loved the work she did with them! From the moment my husband and I met her at our engagement session I knew that she would be more than a vendor but treats you as part of her PBL family! Lauryn is so professional and detail organized that nothing gets missed throughout your day. On our spring wedding day we experienced every season and it was all captured perfectly. Lauryn is a QUEEN
Lauryn is beyond talented! I came across her Instagram and knew she was exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. She was everything we wanted and more. Our engagement photos and wedding photos are my favorite photos I have to this day. She is patient, responsive, and captures moments like nobody else. Lauryn goes above and beyond for her clients. She treats us like family and makes sure everything is exactly what we want. I recently lost my sister, and these photos are more than special to me as they are the last I have with my sister. The Best! Book Lauryn NOW!
This review is long overdue!
Lauryn took both my engagement photos and wedding photos. In addition to creating the most romantic, beautiful, and fun photos that I will cherish for the rest of my life, she has an amazing personality, was so incredibly organized from the moment I contacted her, and made me and my husband feel so relaxed and comfortable during shooting. She was so easy to work with and also went above and beyond for us.
I normally hate photos of myself, yet I love everything she took of me and my husband. My brother and fiancé also loved our photos and working with her during my wedding, that they are now using her for their wedding as well.
All of the other reviews you read praising her are 100% accurate. Cannot recommend her enough both as an amazing photographer and awesome person. -

A friend more than a vendor
Lauryn was the first vendor we booked, and she set the tone for our whole day. When we told her we wanted our pet turtle involved in the ceremony, she fully embraced the idea, as her #1 goal is to make her clients feel authentically themselves. Our wedding was a reflection of us as a couple and all our quirks -- and Lauryn captured it perfectly.
Lauryn was a sense of calm on the wedding day when I was starting to get jitters. Having our engagement session with her was the best way to get warmed up to each other so on the big day we felt relaxed in front of the camera. Lauryn rolls with the changes in plans and is super efficient with large wedding parties!
I spent the most time with Lauryn out of any of my vendors - so be sure the photographer you book matches your personality! Lauryn was the perfect fit for us - confident, calm, and light-hearted - and we would recommend her in a heartbeat! -

Our entire experience working with Lauryn was absolutely amazing! Leading up to the wedding she was extremely organized and helped us figure out the wedding day timeline, provided helpful tips, a shot list template, and overall was just a great communicator throughout the entire process. On the wedding day she helped us stay on task and made a point to capture all of the important shots on our list! The photos turned out so beautiful and beyond exceeded our expectations! Phenomenal!
We first saw Lauryn's amazing work for our covid micro wedding with immediate family in 2020 and absolutely treasured her guidance and fun nature capturing our love and the beauty of that intimate ceremony. Now we've seen her wearing her many caps while capturing our church ceremony and 200+ person reception in 2022, and please believe me when I say she does it all. She is not only such a joy to work with, she helped keep things moving on time, had a solution for every rainy day hiccup, and knew just how to artistically and efficiently check off a long shot list with huge extended families without missing any special moments. In fact, we knew we were going to get such an incredible album thanks to her expertise and dedication that we passed on a videographer and never looked back. Video is obviously an entirely separate and beautiful media, but Lauryn's art is breathtaking and vividly captures all the love and life in each moment, and we don't regret our decision. Lauryn is absolutely amazing. Not only did she go above and beyond to help ensure our day ran smoothly, but she has the best/most artistic eye I have ever seen. Look no further, Lauryn is YOUR GIRL! Lauryn is not only incredibly talented but she is the type of girl you want to partner with on the most important day of your life. It was a privilege to have Lauryn shoot our engagement photos and get to know her in between the time of our engagement shoot and the wedding. During this time we were able to get crystal clear on the details of the day and what was important to me. Needless to say, she absolutely made my wedding photo dreams come true. Incredible!
Lauryn is an absolutely incredible photographer!! First of all, our wedding was 12/11/21 and she was able to get us our photos before Christmas!! It was a TEN DAY turn around! We were able to relive our memories with our family during the holiday. Secondly, our photos are incredible! Lauryn was able to capture the love and happiness of me and my husband. Our photos really highlight the two of us as a couple and we love them all. She captured moments between us as a couple and between our loved ones that we will cherish forever. Lastly, Lauryn is fun and I was so happy to have her by my side the day of my wedding! She loved taking photos of our dog and she even bustled my dress. We first met Lauryn at a vendor open house hosted by our venue and I immediately knew she was the wedding photographer for us. Lauryn is responsive, professional, hilarious, and extremely reliable. Every step of planning that included Lauryn was simple and stress-free, including having to postpone our wedding an entire year because of COVID.
Every photo that Lauryn took on our wedding day is absolutely beautiful. From the detail and venue photos, perfect fall first look location down the street from the venue that Lauryn spotted for us, wedding party and family photos, and ceremony and reception - every moment was captured perfectly. Lauryn made everyone feel so natural and relaxed, it honestly felt like she was just another one of our friends hanging out with us for the day!
I was amazed by how quickly we received our photos back - we had a few sneak peaks the next day, a blog post with about 75 images three days after, and our entire gallery just two weeks after!

“These photos belong in a wedding magazine”, my Mom said. Our wedding day was magical, and Lauryn captured every perfect moment. From our family dog in a bow-tie, my husband toasting with his father before walking down the aisle - looking through her photos gives us goosebumps and butterflies over and over again.
We first met Lauryn a few months ahead of our wedding for engagement photos in Lincoln Park. She was organized, had great aesthetic, ideas, and made us laugh on-demand with funny punchlines. Her photos are timeless, elegant, bright and she captures LOVE so naturally. She instantly made us feel so comfortable posing for photos (something we’d never done before) by capturing the real, candid moments. She’d have us answer questions that made us laugh (ex. “On the count of three, say who you think is going to be the drunkest person at the wedding”) - and these shots ended up being our favorites. It was such a pleasure spending that time with her ahead of our wedding because on the day of, she felt like a friend or sister coming into my parent’s house to document the day and details.
The morning of the wedding was naturally a little crazy. Hair and make-up, food, vendors, last-minute details, etc. Like I said, spending time with Lauryn ahead of our big day made us feel so at ease on the day of. She came into my parent’s house and got to work. I felt confident knowing she was there to do her thing, that I truly didn’t even have to think about it. Again, when it came time for our Bride & Groom and family photos, she made everyone feel comfortable. Noone felt like they were posing, she made us all laugh. The photos were organic and so candid.
Just five weeks after our big day, Lauryn had our photos ready in her portal. That quick turnaround is AMAZING. I got so much praise from family on how timely those photos came back, and it was so fun to relive the day when it was still so fresh in our minds.
The day goes by so fast, and we missed one photo that was on my shot list. I reached out to Lauryn to see if she had it, and she responded right away. We had in fact missed that one photo, but Lauryn did some real editing magic to make the photo happen. She sent over a new version less than a week later. My parents now have it on their mantle and no one knows it’s edited! She is SO, so freaking talented.

Where do I begin?!
Reviews for anything nowadays are gold, especially when it comes to such a huge monetary investment like a wedding. With that said, I have to say that Lauryn was one of the best investments we could have made for our big day. From the very beginning, she was responsive, accommodating, and it was evident that her expertise was top notch. Lauryn knows what she’s doing. Period!
She made everything from our engagement photos, to our Covid-19 postponement, to our wedding, magical. She captured the moments we want to cherish forever.
I am in events for a living, and attention to detail and perfection is something that I expect from any vendor I work with - Lauryn did not disappoint! Hire her if you want to work with someone who has incredible ideas, but still gives you room to share your vision.
Also, it’s important to mention, she essentially ran our wedding day so that we could enjoy ourselves. She instructed everyone before the wedding, at the church, at the venue and beyond with what they needed to be doing and where they needed to be. She literally took the stress out of the day, which if you ask me, is above the photographers responsibilities!

Seriously though, Lauryn is amazing! She made us feel comfortable right away. She is personable and funny. We were amazed at how easy our engagement session was and the photos were incredible - she knows how to capture the perfect poses! Leading up to our Wedding, she was always available and open to jumping on a call/texting to discuss ideas and give us advice. When it came to our Wedding Day, she was our photographer, Wedding Coordinator, Bridesmaid, etc. all in one without being asked. Post Wedding, she posted a blog with 50+ photos days after our Wedding and we recieved our Wedding photos like a week after - unbelievable turnaround and quality. Additionally, we received the cutest Thank You gift. We were offered a Viewing Party and we ended up placing an photo order (Christmas cards, photo album etc). She’s been extremely quick and helpful in helping up pick out the perfect gifts/create the best memories! We will be using Lauryn for future photography needs!!! -

I cannot say enough good things about Lauryn! I pretty much knew after our first initial phone call that she would end up being our photographer. We just clicked.
My husband hates having his photo taken and felt uncomfortable hiring a photographer for our engagement shoot, but Lauryn had a way of getting us to interact with each other that he became less aware of the camera. By the time our wedding day came around, he knew what to expect, and felt way more comfortable being photographed. I honestly could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out, and to my surprise, we got them much sooner than expected! I will never stop recommending Lauryn! She is truly amazing. -

Can I actually give Lauryn 10 stars? My husband and I found Lauryn very early on in our photographer search. After looking through her portfolio, and literally as soon as we spoke with her, we knew she was the right fit. We did our "due diligence" and spoke with multiple other photographers after talking to Lauryn, however, none compared. We just had this FEELING that Lauryn was the one! And we were right - we could not be more thrilled with our decision to have Lauryn do our photos! She did both our engagement and our wedding photos. Lauryn is responsive, personable, hilarious, and shares my love for dogs and true crime :-). She has been so helpful with all aspects of planning for our big day, and has awesome suggestions. It's also very clear that she genuinely cares about her clients and is passionate about her work. We took our engagement shots with her in September, and our original day was rained out. She immediately reached out to us and gave us the option to reschedule for the following day, which we were so grateful for! On our wedding day, Lauryn was literally diving into bushes to get the perfect shot. She also was the real MVP and cleaned makeup off of my dress 20 mins before the ceremony =P. Also, did I mention she is SOOO TALENTED?! Our pictures came out INCREDIBLE, she made us feel comfortable and we had fun during the shoot, and the turnaround time was literally less than 3 days. There is no better wedding photographer than LAURYN! I can honestly say that you will not regret investing in a good wedding photographer, because photos are basically the most important part of the day, and Lauryn is it! She was great at giving us direction on how to pose for the photos for both Engagement and the wedding itself, which helps a lot if you are not too familiar with how to do it yourself. The photos for Engagement came out amazing and she even helped us work in our crazy, 5-month-old golden puppy at the time into a few shots. Her editing style is that perfect, light, and airy vibe that you want for this happy and exciting time in your life, and all your photos will come out beautiful! My husband and I are definitely not models but I swear she can sure make you look like that in your engagement and wedding photos.
Leading up to the wedding Lauryn helped me put together a timeline for photos for the day which helped me relax so much since I personally had no idea how to time things out. She also was super fast at responding to any texts or emails I sent her with any questions I had about the wedding, which helped put me at ease during the wedding planning process. On the actual wedding day, Lauryn was so organized and efficient when it came to getting all the photos we were wanting, and she was able to calm my nerves since I was worried about running behind schedule. Not to mention she was also the best at keeping me calm, cool and collected as a nervous bride during COVID times that were leading up to our day.
If you’re looking for a super chill, cool wedding photographer, Lauryn is the best of the best! I would highly recommend booking her for your big day. I seriously kept telling everyone how completely OBSESSED I was with our photographer, LOL. We just got married July 23, 2021, and she has already gotten all our photos back to us, which is so fast and they are all absolutely breathtaking. Even all my friends and bridesmaids complimented our photos saying how amazing out photographer did! My husband and I can’t stop looking at our photos and we can’t wait to get some printed to hang in our home! When looking at the work of other photographers you can definitely tell Lauryn’s work stands out from the rest. All her photos are super high quality and are so beautiful which is why we went with her! If you dream of those perfectly stunning wedding photos that highlight both you and your significant other in the best way possible, look no further! We hope to book Lauryn for an anniversary shoot sometime in the future because her work is that good and we just can’t get enough!

From the very beginning, I knew Lauryn was the right choice for our photographer. I spoke to her on the phone and got the BEST first impression. She made me laugh and I felt so comfortable talking with her. She made me feel like a friend rather than a client! She did an amazing job keeping in contact with us along the way! At our engagement photos, I was amazed at home comfortable she made us feel in front of the camera (especially my husband!). Dream Photographer
Anything I write in this review will not do Lauryn justice. My husband and I had a very intimate 10 person total wedding in November 2020, and Lauryn captured our day in the most beautiful way. She is a true professional. Even with only 8 guests, I wasn’t aware of her floating around during the ceremony at all, but she captured the most stunning shots of what seemed like every beautiful gesture and moment from stunning angles of my husband and I as well as our family. She was also extremely professional and fun to work with, frequently making sure we got all the shots we wanted and jumping in to help direct bigger group poses. Some of our favorite photos are the artistic shots we would never have thought of, like our laughing faces while cutting the cake coming to focus in the mirror behind the cake table, but literally every one of the 600 photos from the 3 hours we had are phenomenal. You would be mistaken not to hire Lauryn, but I pray to God by some miracle she is not booked for our next date to celebrate with more family and friends post-Covid. -

Lauryn is the best!
Lauryn and her second hand woman, Lesly, were absolutely FANTASTIC. I haven’t stopped staring at the pictures since we got them! They are so kind, welcoming, and fun!! For a couple that isn’t good at posing and taking pictures, we felt completely at ease. We were dreading couple shots initially (because we are awkward) and that ended up being one of our favorite parts! Lauryn and Lesly made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. We felt like we were hanging out with two friends that happened to have a camera! Lauryn’s creative eye makes magic happen. Still can’t believe the shots they got! We are so thankful she was able to shoot our most amazing day! The pictures they took truly reflect the joy and happiness everyone felt! Amazing!!!
Lauryn was absolutely wonderful to work with! She photographed my best friend’s wedding back in 2015, which was how I knew of her. After emailing back and forth, it turned out that we actually went to the same college and graduated around the same time (small world!). In our initial meeting, she instantly made us feel super comfortable, like we were talking to an old friend. It was such a great experience that we ended up contacting her to reserve our date as soon as we got home. So glad that we did because we were not disappointed. Leading up to the wedding, Lauryn was super helpful with any questions and concerns that we had. She was always quick to respond and really went above and beyond. She even helped us put together our timeline for the day. On the day of the wedding, she kept us on track with our timeline, communicated with all our our vendors, helped with missing decor and even bustled my dress. We didn’t need to worry about anything, she made sure that every last detail was taken care of. It was absolutely wonderful and was way more than we could’ve ever asked for. In addition to all her help and support, she absolutely KILLED it with our photos. They turned out AMAZING. So much so that I still look at them daily, almost 6 months later. The best!
Lauryn was referred to us by a friend who was a bridesmaid in a wedding Lauryn shot + my friend said I just HAD to hire her for my wedding because her pictures were “perfect.” Little did we know by having her shoot our wedding we would get more than just absolutely perfect pictures. She made the entire day of pictures so easy + FUN! We quickly learned there’s no fake laughing in her photos, she’s hilarious and made all our photos so genuine + natural. Our bridal party loved her! She was so helpful during getting ready photos and before heading down the isle, all while taking the most perfect photos. She even helped with the little things...who knew your band had to go on the outside of your engagement ring? Not me! But Lauryn did! We got our photos back from her so quickly!! + even had a great sneak peek + blog post filled with photos to look at on our honeymoon! We couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out!
