Highly Recommended Wedding Photographer
First of all, Cambrae's hustle is real! Not only is she a stellar photographer, but she's also a solid business woman. This is evident from the moment you first meet her. She is organized, efficient, detailed, and resourceful. She became such a great asset during the wedding planning. If we needed a recommendation she had some handy. If you are planning a wedding then you understand how valuable that is to an overwhelmed couple.
Onsite, Cambrae was indispensable. She helped my spouse bustle her dress (thankfully, because we were stressed about it). She guided us through the signing of our marriage license. She gave us notes on how to successfully cut the cake (it's harder than it looks). All the while, capturing these special moments for us.
We are so happy with the photographs! Cambrae captured our day perfectly and beautifully. She was everywhere, yet never in the way. She is passionate, skilled, and joyful. We highly recommend her as your wedding photography. She cares and it shows.

Perfectly captured our day
My husband and I hired Cambrae to take our wedding pictures for our wedding on June 8, 2024 at the Columbia Gorge hotel.
Initial consult and weeks leading up to the wedding
She listened carefully and then offered thoughtful advice that took into consideration our unique concerns
She sent REGULAR updates and checkins by email, reminding us of our timelines and details. She gave me COMPLETE peace of mind that I could depend on her entirely!
She added in my request that my parents be showcased in a couple of family pictures so that I could give them a special gift for their 60th wedding anniversary.
Wedding day:
She was at the venue promptly and completely many of the getting ready pictures, including the venue details, shoes, flowers, dresses prior to my getting ready photos so there was no additional delay
She handled the groom artfully and even helped him with his bow tie and cuff links.
She orchestrated a BEAUTIFUL First Look and caught a priceless shot of some of our children and grandchildren cheering in the background. She managed to catch every important detail both during and after the ceremony.

Not Just a Photographer!
When we first met with Cambrae my FH and I came away knowing we made the right choice. Cambrae was so professional and immediately put us at ease. She knew all the right questions to ask, brought up topics we hadn't even considered yet and made the whole process seem so easy! We were very happy with our choice of photographer and then on the day of our wedding we were blown away! I can honestly say I don't think we would have had as much time to eat as we did or remember to drink water without her! Cambrae kept us on track, got all the photos we wanted and made sure that as the bride and groom we were taken care of. One of the main compliments we got from our family and friends after the wedding was how on top of it our photographer was. She managed to wrangle our large family for many many pictures while making sure we got amazing pictures with each of them. The fact that our pictures turned out amazing was just icing on the cake to the whole experience.

We had a small wedding (40 people) in Mt. Tabor, with a reception at a friend's home. Cambrae was an absolute joy to work with and a great help to make wedding planning easier. From the beginning, she worked with us by helping set up a timeline for the day of the event. As we updated the schedule due to one thing or another, she was quick to respond and edit. She even took some time to help our officiant out
On the day of the event, we had a rainy day that did not stop at all. Cambrae, getting pretty soaked a few hours in, was there to help guide and organize some of our other vendors and family members.
We were originally going to have sunset photos, but unfortunately the weather never cleared. Cambrae got creative, and got us front lit by a lamp post at the venue, and had a flash behind us that lit up the rain. In a preview photo it looked like we were among the stars!
Cambrae was very organized, friendly, and outgoing. We have not seen our photos yet, takes a bit of time to process all those photos. But we are excited to see them, and how she has helped us before, and during our special day garners a worthy review. Nice work Cambrae!

Cambrae made our dream wedding come true for us two unphotogenic lovebirds
I cannot recommend Cambrae enough. She was very thorough in our initial zoom session where we discussed all the details of our wedding and where we got to know each other. She made us feel welcome right away. My partner and I shared with her how we both don’t do too well in front of a camera; he’s shy and I’m terrible at being candid. The pictures that she took of us says otherwise! She made us feel so comfortable, like we’ve known her for years! She was also so patient with us when we were viewing our photos with her and helped us find the perfect products to purchase without pushing to sell as much as possible. You should book with her for all your photography needs!

For those of you reading this, I know you will appreciate my honesty about working with Cambrae. To start, my now wife and I were so very fortunate to have Cambrae for our engagement and wedding photos. When I first met our wonderful photographer for our engagement photos, I was greeted with kindness and a calm confident personality. My wife met Cambrae before me and shared great excitement about how she found a great photographer and think’s that I will like her. Well as usual she was right, meeting Cambrae and working with her for our engagement photos was only the beginning; We were fortunate enough to have Cambrae capture our wedding and create amazing memories for our family and friends to enjoy for days and years to come. She was organized and punctual and was incredibly prepared. She was incredible to work with and I am so lucky to now call her a friend. Experienced Friendly Professional
Cambrae photographed our Christmas wedding. They are very familiar with the venue and knew all the best spots for photos. It had snowed the day before our wedding and they help me in my dress out into the snow for photos. They came very prepared with a cool photographer tool belt, mask and snow boots. They were very accommodating for photos of our large family and adjusting our photo plan as many essential guests couldn’t make it. Cambrae is experienced with lighting, posing and is very professional and at the same time very friendly and inviting.

Cambrae did such a beautiful job! My husband and I couldn't be happier with our photos. We absolutely loved working with her. Memories will last a life time
Cambrae did our engagement photos and then our wedding. We were immediately comfortable with her. Cambrae was professional when needed and also very personable. She got along with everyone and felt more like family and friends; though she did a tremendous amount of work. Our photographs are beautiful so picking our favorites is difficult. Cambrae also communicated with us often before and after the wedding. She was willing to adjust timing of things and roll with the day as well. I would recommend Cambrae over and over again. Note: Our event was not a wedding, but a special 60th anniversary.
I can’t speak highly enough of Cambrae. From the very first interaction with her, she was warm, friendly, responsive to all our questions. She met (virtually!) with the 60th anniversary honorees, to get to know them and help them feel comfortable. They were won over just like I was!
In the days leading up to our event, she heard and addressed each of our concerns. How much time was needed? How will we “fix” the lighting issues (sun would be blocked by the Lodge at the time of our event) and still get the spectacular Columbia Gorge backdrop for our pictures?
On the day of our special celebration, she quickly became a part of our family. She came prepared with additional lighting. We had a list of family shots we wanted; she made sure to capture each image we wanted, plus all the extras we didn’t know we would treasure forever. She was warm and friendly and fun in her interactions with the family, helping each to be comfortable and as a result, to look their most beautiful. Small children were no challenge for her—our one-year-old responded to her with all smiles.
And the final result? I have to tell you—there are a couple of us that really don’t like having our photos taken, and we came to the “showing” with a bit of trepidation. However, our fears were quickly put to rest. Because of her combination of professionalism and warmth at the event, each family member was relaxed, and every photo captured each individual at their very best.
Bottom line: we could not be more impressed with Cambrae as a person, and as a photographer. She will be our first and only choice for any future events.

What a delight to have chosen Cambrae as our wedding photographer! I would hire Cambrae again in a heartbeat!
Cambrae was a joy to work with. She was authentic, flexible, and obviously loves what she does which made the process that much better. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and in our post-wedding family photo shoot. Great with dogs, too!! I will never use any other photographer!
My husband and I first Hired Cambrae for our engagement shots after she was referred to us by a friend. We were a little nervous at first but Cambrae made us feel as ease right away, which was a huge relief. From there, she expertly directed the photoshoot, making sure everything was just right from the lighting to little details like adjusting the position of my necklace. She did a great job at presenting our our personalities in the photos, and worked hard to get the perfect shot, all while making it a fun experience for us! When we saw the final results, we couldn't have been happier. We of course had to hire her to do our wedding photography, and once again, we were blown away by her professionalism. From candid shots of attendees to artful shots of the venue and the decor, she beautifully captured the feeling and energy of the event. Since then, we have hired her for all of our family portraits, as well as for my business photos. The family photos we have hanging in our home are always highly praised by guests. Captures Magic!
We highly recommend Cambrae! We had originally planned a big wedding but life happened and we changed it to a shot gun wedding. She helped talk me through the planning, how the typical smaller ceremonies, we went through the day to make sure we had a list of must haves. Most important to us was candid photos. I still look back at them 5 years later and remember that day like it was yesterday just because of the pictures.

Cambrae was a dream to work with, especially during this crazy year. My (now) husband and I decided to continue on with our plans to get married this year, and Cambrae was right there for us each step of the way. She was extremely professional while also being approachable and fun to work with, the perfect balance. She was very easy to communicate with, embraced our requests and quirks, and helped us navigate the adjustments we had to make due to it being 2020.
We just got to review all of our photos (virtually) and they are even better then I had imagined. I can hardly wait to have our album in our hands!

In the era of COVID, we have all had challenges. We were married on July 18, 2020, while our region was still partially in lock down. Despite several changes in plans, Cambrae was professional and accommodating. We ended up holding the ceremony literally in a hotel parking lot. Cambrae did an outstanding job in every way. She found the angles that downplayed the odd venue, always managed to capture the best lighting and made us all look great. I was absolutely stunned at the quality of the photos! I would highly recommend her for your special occasion. And by the way, she’s also really nice 😁 everyone enjoyed interacting with her.

Great Experience
We booked Cambrae during our consultation after meeting her at the Portland bridal Expo. A big part of our decision to go with Cambrae was due to her awesome personality (her samples were beautiful as well). She seems to really love her work and wants to help couples capture their big day. We were on a budget and she found a package that best worked for us, helped us create a schedule for the day and pick group shots we know we wanted captured. Throughout the lead up to the wedding she continued to coordinate with us and helped us identify a location for our outside shots. Day of she was on time, professional, and fun which made the photo process extremely easy. She gave easy to follow directions and coaxed out littles into smiling for the shots. We had a great experience working with her.

We love Cambrae. I met her at the bridal show and one thing that really stuck out to me was her affordable pricing of course, but also the fact that she had a bride that she had photographed actually there to tell her story! I thought that was really awesome because I got to hear it from her how Great her experience was. She is so easy going and she really made sure we got images that I really wanted as well. Cambrae's photo creativity is delightful! However what stands out most for us was her adaptability that kept our wedding day going smoothly. She's a package deal with photographer, wedding planner and more than a hired photographer. For example, we accidentally had everyone sign the decorative marriage license and 5 minutes later she produces the actual license signed and secured. She was the voice at my shoulder to keep my nerves in check the days before and throughout the wedding day. I can honestly say, I probably wouldn't have had my perfect day without her direction, coordination and overall attitude. I have never met a photographer like her before!

Professional, engaged, responsive, and thoughtful
We were having a hard time finding a photographer who was recommended by others, within our price range, and who was a seasoned professional. We were looking for someone who was professional, engaged, and thoughtful - and who had reasonably-priced packages that included everything we were looking for without adding any unnecessary items or leaving something basic (like full-resolution photos on USB) as an add-on charge. Her quick response to our inquiry assured us that she was on top of things. We met in a nearby bar and went over general shotlists and discussed her approach to photography, and quickly and easily decided to hire her - no need to meet with anyone else! As a bonus, she had worked with our DJ (Katie at Stumptown DJs) before as well! She was all but invisible for most of the wedding (well, except when she was getting our guests at each table to come on up to the chuppah so we could get a photo with each of them), but still got an amazing series of shots. Her thorough knowledge of standard wedding photos was a godsend, and she worked with every additional request we had as well, all of which were fantastic. It was a genuine pleasure to work with her, and the results were simply stunning. Whether staged or candid photos, she did a terrific job working with the people, the location, and the lighting. The album she put together for us demonstrates an eye for detail and a thorough knowledge of what was important for us about our wedding. You should look no further for a wedding photographer in Portland who can professionally and promptly capture your wedding day.

Positive wedding experience
It was great working with Cambrae. She was on-time for our initial meeting and early to the wedding, and she started working as soon as she got to the wedding venue even though she didn't need to be on the clock yet. This allowed my husband and I to do early first-look pictures, which made it much easier to get where we needed to be without having to hide. She was nice, quick, professional and put us at ease. Thank you, Cambrae.

A wedding photographer can often be just a necessary evil, BUT Cambrae brings along her fun spirit and a smile that aleiviates all that gloom. She definitely becomes part of the fun and on top of that captures amazing shots!!

Our wedding Photographer
So glad my bridesmaid crew found her at the Bridal show! Once I put down the cake samples, I followed the girls to meet Cambrae. I knew from her upbeat vibe, professionalism, photos and packages that she was the one. I booked her to meet w my fiancé (now husband) and I at our place where were to wed. She came, walked around gave us good tips and thoughts, she asked the right questions (ones we wouldn’t think of) and here we are today with a full collection of beautiful and fun photos for us to have w us to share for years to come!! They turned out better than what I even expected. She helped make our special day easy breezy and the photos says it all! Thank u! To figure couples.... this is one you won’t regret!

Cambrae photographed my wedding in June, and I couldn't be happier with the decision I made to hire her! I met Cambrae at the Portland Bridal Show, and I knew right away that she was the photographer I needed. I didn't expect to find a photographer at the bridal show, and already had a few options in mind that I was considering. However, when I met her and saw her work, I knew I had to hire her. Cambrae is extremely personable and professional, and seriously has the best personality. When I met with her to discuss the timeline and various pictures we wanted, I was blown away by how prepared she was and by her attention to detail. Let me tell you, this girl thinks of everything (important things I would have never thought of!). She has so much experience and knowledge regarding this profession, and it shows. The day of the wedding she was nothing less than amazing. My guests were constantly telling me all day how incredible she was and how impressed they were by her. She was SO great at working with everyone and really made everyone feel at ease during the wedding. My husband is pretty shy and is not a picture taker by any means, and even he was enjoying the picture taking process. She was even able to get the kids in the family to smile and cooperate for photos. Cambrae was flexible and responsive throughout the entire process. I am grateful I found such a wonderful photographer, and overall person, to be a part of our special day. We plan on using her for our future photography needs because she is so fun and amazing at what she does!

I met Cambrae at the Portland Bridal Show. I was on the lookout for a photographer within my budget that took amazing photos and had a great personality. She fit all of my criteria and I couldn't wait to book her for our wedding! We picked the "C" package which included an engagement photo session. I was excited at the thought of getting so much for so little as compared to the myriad of other photographers we met.
The photos for the engagement session are amazing! Cambrae was fun to work with, incredibly helpful in making our poses look natural, and an all around good sport. She let us direct the outcome of the session but also gave us tips and made suggestions to make it perfect. I had a vision for the photos but wasn't sure how to make it a reality or vocalize those ideas. Cambrae must have picked up on that because the photos look exactly how I wanted them to.
We appreciate the fact that she has gone out of her way to be a source of support through (arguably) a stressful time in this couple's life. She's been flexible, a shoulder to cry on, and a sounding board for ideas with great suggestions and a wealth of wedding planning knowledge. Cambrae has exceeded all of our expectations! Thank you!!!

Cambrae was Amazing! We had our ceremony and reception at Columbia Edgewater Country Club & her work was perfect! Meeting her at the Portland Bridal Show, we got along well and her work was much better than other vendors we had seen. During the consultation we realized we were all Blazer fans! (Which proved to work perfectly later on). We then proceeded to hire her.
During our big day I was impressed with her experience in her work! We both felt she never stopped taking pictures. Then later looking at all the pictures at her home studio we were very happy with how they turned out! Not only was she spontaneous with her photos around the venue, she helped us stay on track with what would happen next. I was not expecting it, but she helped the day go by smoothly. We are very excited to get our wedding album that was included in our package and Cambrae even put together.
We are very happy to have her be a part of our big day, especially her flexibility coming with us to the Blazer game and taking pictures outside the Moda Center!

Cambrae shot our wedding about 8 1/2 years ago. She was (and continues to be) a phenomenal photographer. Not only did she ask us what we wanted from our photos, but added her own artistry and creativity (even lying in the middle of the road to get just the right shot). She retouched many images and gave us all of the shots that she took. I have all of the photos hanging on my wall and could not be happier with the timelessness that she captured. I would highly recommend that you look no further for a photographer.

Cambrae is the best choice for wedding photos. I met her work at a friend's wedding several years before getting married was even on the horizon for me. The photos from that wedding made me sure that the only person I wanted capturing my wedding day was Cambrae. She will capture shots from your wedding that you didn't even know you needed.

Cambrae was able to both capture stunning composed shots of my wife, myself and our family; while grabbing remarkable candids that let our personalities truly shine. She truly found the essence of us as a couple and our vision of our wedding day and translated it into amazing photos.
We also used her for our engagement photos and later for maternity and newborn photos for both of our boys.
Cambrae is practically part of the family now.
We highly recommend her.

Cambrae has been our photographer for many years and we’ve enjoyed every experience. She recently photographed our engagement session and we couldn’t be happier. We spent the entire day in the Pearl District in 100’ heat and despite the heat of the day she captured the most beautiful and authentic photos. I show of my wedding photos and I everyone comments how gorgeous they are and that they look like they are cut straight out of a bridal magazine! Engagement Photos --
We were pretty flexible with the Engagement Photos. When we first started the Wedding planning journey, we weren't going to do engagement photos. After finding Cambrae at a Bridal Show, we found that her photoghraphy package included them, so we went ahead with it. I am SO glad we did! She picked a great location in Downtown Portland. She was fun to work with, and had great ideas. The final products were amazing!
As far as the wedding day --
She was very detailed oriented, on time, understanding, and is passionate about her work. Much to my surprise (maybe I didn't pay attention to the details), she brought her assistant, Lori. Lori was also great, and happy to do whatever work was needed. Cambrae made sure we got all of the shots we wanted, and helped move along the day. I can't wait to see the Pictures!
She will be my photographer for future life events as needed.
