Hiring Hoyos Photography was the absolute BEST thing I did for my wedding!! Jose and Kristin are such lovely people and made us feel so comfortable the whole time (especially my husband who doesn't love taking photos). They checking in with us multiple times throughout the day to make sure we were doing okay, if we needed a break from photos, and if there was anything else we could do. We received many sneak peek photos just the day after our wedding and they were already fantastic! We received the rest of the almost 1,400 photos a few weeks later and I could not be more happy with them! I'm absolutely obsessed with their work! Additionally, Kristin's harp music for the ceremony was so beautiful! So many of the guests told us that it was such a classy touch and was beautiful at our beach wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend Hoyos Photography to anyone getting married around Tampa!! -

Kristen played beautifully at our ceremony, adding a touch of class to our small wedding. José accompanied us as a photographer from the getting-ready phase to the reception, thinking up flattering poses for my '"posse" and me, even sneaking in a shot candidly as I crossed the street. Both Kristen and Jose captured the happy moments without being intrusive and got the first batch of photos back to me within days, with the full array ready about 2 weeks later. My family is very happy to have the photos available for free download all year!
José and Kristen were professional and great with communication, letting us fill out questionnaires ahead of time so there wouldn't be much to discuss the day of. José was able to respond quickly to a venue change for getting ready. -

I was so impressed with Jose and the photos he took for our wedding and engagement! We have so many gorgeous photos to remember our special day that it is impossible to even choose a favorite. Most amazing experience
We hired photo harp for our engagement photos and wedding photos this year. They were so flexible and made us feel completely comfortable the entire time. They took into consideration all of the ideas we had and just made them so much better. Our pictures came out perfectly and they fit right in at the wedding. We loved them so much that they will be doing a family lifestyle photo shoot with us after our baby is born. We are so grateful we found them and can not recommend them enough to everyone we know! -

Amazing photographer
Jose and Kristen did an absolutely phenomenal job capturing every detail of our Bella Collina wedding. The entire experience, start to finish, was outstanding. They did a great job at giving us guidance and making us feel comfortable throughout the entire day. Additionally, the turnaround time for the photos was super quick! We had a sneak peek with over a dozen photos as early as the next morning and the full album of around 1500 photos in less than a month. 10/10 would highly recommend!! -

Jose and Kristen of PhotoHarp Weddings were a DREAM COME TRUE on my wedding day. It has taken me 2 days to write this review because I find it difficult to put into words how WONDERFUL they are and how beyond beautiful our wedding photos are but I will try! Jose is an expert in his field, beyond kind, FUN, and knows how to make beautiful and wonderful memories through his camera. He took two very awkward people and made us so wonderfully comfortable during our engagement shoot. On our wedding day he took a perfect mix of creative, candid, and staged photos. He took my amateur shot list and TRANSFORMED my vision without missing a thing - literally at one point laying on the ground to capture one of my favorite photos. And on top of all that, he had his wonderful wife Kristen as his second shooter who wrangled all of the men in our wedding party into the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. My husband could not say enough good things about Kristen and how much fun they had. Lastly, Jose’s efficiency and timeliness is UNMATCHED. We had our sneak peek of HUNDREDS of photos in 24 hours - we hadn’t even landed for our honeymoon yet!! And then a week after the wedding we received our ENTIRE ALBUM of at least a thousand pictures. Unheard of!!!! Amazing! Jose and Kristen thank you guys for truly making my day so perfect and giving me the memories for a lifetime. We were so fortunate to work with you and I cannot recommend you both enough! -

They know what they are doing
Jose and Kristen are soooo amazing!!! Just look at these photos! And I have so many more from them that I just absolutely treasure. Jose made my group heart photo happen which I knew was going to be difficult to do but he had no problems. Kristen learned a new song for us on the harp so we could have it play while I walk. She even played it for us ahead of time to make sure we loved it. She turns every song into the most angelic sound. They are both the wedding dream team and for a day we got to see what having paparazzi feels like. They worked nonstop the entire night and then sent us not just a couple highlight photos but an entire album of edited highlight pictures almost immediately. Then once we received the completed gallery it was well over 1,000 photos that captured our entire day. Simply amazing. -

Jose and Kristen make a spectacular team. They are patient, funny and very professional.
Since we saw Jose's photography work, we were delighted. We live in Texas, and the main reason we decided to have the wedding in Florida was because of Jose and Kristen, and the truth is that it was the best thing we did, it was so worth it. Kristen playing the harp was an additional touch to our wedding ceremony. Beside Kristen playing the harp, she also took amazing photos and she was super fun to work with. My mom even sent a message to Jose about how grateful she was for the way he worked with all of our crazy family and friends lol. I definitely recommend Jose and Kristen to capture those beautiful moments on your special day. -

The Most Incredible Team

We hired Jose to do our engagement our pictures and wedding day pictures along with his wife Kristen, to play the harp for our ceremony. I have nothing but good things to say about this duo. Jose is such a nice person and easy to get along with especially if you’re a shy kind of person. He makes you photogenic even if you feel you’re usually not. He gave us both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures back within a week edited, and they all looked so beautiful. He was very low key at our wedding and really appreciated all the great moments he was able to catch. His wife Kristen also plays the harp beautifully. It made our ceremony look so much more elegant. Simple the BEST!
When we approached Jose we had a few strange requests and my fiancé was a bit apprehensive about getting professional photos done in general, but Jose not only made us both feel so comfortable he really leaned into every idea we had and enhanced our ideas with his expertise. He’s got such a great eye, was so flexible, so FAST with taking the photos and editing, (also he’s so great at nighttime outdoor photos which was so important for me), he was professional and also fun. Photo Harp Weddings was everything I've ever wanted in a wedding photographer! From his respectful manner, patience with his couples, and absolutely stunning talent, he's the real deal! Ever since I was a girl, I planned a fairytale wedding, with a good photographer as a must - and I was not disappointed at all! Since our first meeting through Zoom, Jose absolutely captivated my husband and I. Not only was he flexible with meetings, sessions, and our lack of being photogenic, but he also included a FREE engagement session. And best of all, he's able to work through any obstacles to capture stunning photos. My husband and I were completely surprised when we received our engagement photos the VERY NEXT DAY - that is how amazing he is! And come wedding time, he fit right in. Ever the gentlemen he knew how to respect everyone's boundaries, when to take the shot (and when not to), and was so friendly that it felt like he was a guest, instead of a vendor. That day, largely due to him, was the best day of our lives, and his work shows it all. Once we received our photos, and a slideshow that he created for us, I was left utterly speechless! Not to mention that a few weeks later, a giant canvas of my favorite wedding picture appeared at my door, courtesy of our photographer. Photo Harp Photography is without a doubt, a master in their craft. I was blessed to have been recommended their way. -

Absolutely perfect!! Hire them!!
For reference, we hired Photo Harp for our two-day wedding. From beginning to end, they were so easy to work with. Jose responded to my initial inquiry within hours. He was patient with my questions, helpful in making recommendations, and always responded promptly. He also offered us a free engagement session to get to know us and learn more about our wedding. Those photos were sent to us within days and they were truly incredible!! My husband and I really dislike taking photos, but Jose made us feel comfortable and gave us directions that resulted in beautiful photos. The lighting, angles, and background scenery were gorgeous. He’s a true artist. We knew then that we were in good hands for our wedding, and we were right. You can trust them to capture all the amazing moments of your special event. We will be hiring them again for our annual family reunions. -

In a last-ditch effort to find a wedding photographer we loved, my fiancé and I apprehensively went to yet another wedding show. The very first booth when we walked in the door was PhotoHarp Weddings. We were instantly smitten. Wow, photos AND a harp??? After 5-minutes of speaking with Jose and Kristen, we knew they were the ones! I felt so excited and relieved! Their laid-back, positive personalities made me feel so at ease and comfortable. I believed that I could trust them with their creative process in capturing my special day. Their comprehensive questionnaire was very straightforward and organized and made sure to make an account of every scheduling and photo-op need of the day.
On the morning of my wedding, they arrived right on schedule. However, I was actually crying in my mother’s arms when they walked into the room and I was so embarrassed! LOL It was a stressful morning! But Jose & Kristen were very calm and comforting and let me know they would begin capturing all the beautiful moments possible while I made myself feel better and get beautified. I felt better just knowing that they were there capturing all the beautiful things that I couldn’t see, especially while I was very stressed and so busy. Jose was very respectful and artful while he photographed me and my bridesmaids getting ready. His clear direction, enthusiasm, and positive affirmations while he photographed me made me feel so much more confident in myself and relaxed for the photos. While he photographed me, it was clear that he knows what he’s doing. All the while, his beautiful wife Kristen ran around taking photos of the venue, the guests, the décor and the guys before she set up her harp at the ceremony site. They made a great team. Kristen even helped the gentlemen put on their boutonnieres! Throughout the reception, they were ready and available for any photo requests from us. I was able to relax and enjoy the event without worrying that something was not being captured. I really appreciated that.
I must say… the harp: WOW. Having the harp played while I walked down the aisle made it feel like a fairytale. I walked down the aisle to “Glasgow Love Theme” and it was stunning. I heard so many wonderful compliments about the beautiful, ethereal harp music. The beautiful aesthetic of the harp at our ceremony was unique and really heightened the atmosphere with a reverence that I have not seen with other kinds of live ceremony music. Kristen sends you a list of song options that she can play along with samples. She can also learn custom song requests in advance. I highly recommend Kristen’s harp for a church or garden wedding! If you can, try to get a bridal photo shot with the harp! 😊
When we received our photo album, we spent hours looking at the gorgeous photos. I loved that Jose was able to create a photo album with diversity. He used a few mixes of styles including candid, journalistic, bright & airy, moody, artistic, and vintage. Some of the candid photos were so perfectly timed, we cried laughing! Overall, we feel that our day was captured so perfectly! Not a moment was missed!!! We are so grateful that they were part of our day. We feel like they are our friends. They will always be special to us because they were part of the most important day of our lives. Thank you!!! 😊

Words will never be able to describe how happy I am with Jose and Kristen! They make the best team ever!! Kristen played her harp for my beach ceremony and it was perfect! The vibe she set was incredible! She is so talented and played everything we asked for! Walking down the isle hearing the harp and seeing my future husband was a feeling I could never describe, but will forever hold in my heart!
Jose was my photographer and he was absolutely incredible. He did our engagement photos first and we knew it was so perfect for us! His work is incredible. He is super cool and down to earth! Mario and I felt sooo comfortable! Then on our wedding day he captured everything so beautifully!! It’s hard to believe that’s what our wedding really looked like! It’s something out of a magazine. I couldn’t recommend Jose and Kristen enough! They are absolutely worth every Penny spent!! Do not search any further!! I’m telling you, they are impressive!! -

One of a kind talent
Where do I even start? Jose was an absolute dream to work with. We did our engagement shoot down in Ft desoto and were blown away by the shots he got. My husband is not naturally photogenic, but Jose had us laughing and talking and our pictures came out beyond amazing. Fast forward to our wedding day, Seriously!!! Look! no! Further! Jose was 10 steps ahead of us all night long! I would ask “hey can we get a shot of this or that”, it was either already done, or Jose was already getting it prepared! I cannot say enough about how truly amazing our experience with Jose was. He was one of the best parts of our wedding day! I texted Jose a few days after and asked if he was able to eat, it felt like he never left our side! There are not enough words to express our truly amazing experience and gratitude. Incredible duo!!!
There are no words to express my gratitude for the both Jose and his wife Kristen. My family and I got so lucky to have find them at the last minute, and that they were both available to photograph and play harp for my intimate micro wedding. It was only a week and a half before my wedding, and they responded so quickly and great at communicating and figuring out exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Jose captured incredible photos of my wedding that my husband and I can cherish for a lifetime, while his incredibly talented wife Kristen was playing elegant and beautiful music on her harp while the guests were arriving and throughout the ceremony. I'm so happy that we were able to book them both for our wedding, and they really made our wedding that much more special!! And they were affordable compared to the other options of photographers/ harpists we were looking at, it's an added bonus that this married couple work together as both photographer and harpist to bring such amazing service to any wedding! Amazing!!!
Finding Photo Harp Weddings was like hitting the jackpot! Jose and Kristen are a great team, during our engagement photos and the day of our wedding they were amazing! They made myself, husband and our bridal parties feel so comfortable while taking photos. The shots they took for us are a dream, they have a unique vision for photos that results in beautiful photos. They use lighting and nature to their advantage, they are great with directing poses during the photos.
Kristen's harp playing was absolutely beautiful, it was such a unique part of our wedding that we have gotten so many compliments on.

Where do we begin?! Jose and Kristen are a duo like no other. Their love and passion for what they do is beyond evident. You can't help but smile when they get giddy about an awesome shot, the perfect lighting, a captured moment worth a million bucks... From the moment we met them at a friend's wedding, we were in awe of their talent and knew we needed them to be a part of our special day! We were blown away by their attention to detail, their cool flashes and gadgets, their quickness around the room to capture every little moment, and much more! From the minute I contacted them, to our engagement session, and to our wedding day, they never missed a beat! Jose and Kristen were always quick to respond and made us all feel at ease through the entire process. On our wedding day, they made every single person feel comfortable! Laughing and joking with us - making the entire day fun and happy. As the day rushed away and felt to be over in a blink of an eye, Jose and Kristen did an incredible job capturing each moment. From all angles! We are thankful for them because we have beautiful memories that we will cherish always. Their prices are insanely great for the quality of work, efforts, and quickness in getting photos to you! We had our wedding last Friday, only 7 days ago, and they have already given us our ENTIRE gallery - with over 1000 pictures! Philip, myself, family, and friends have already viewed the album multiple times because we are in such awe of the work Jose and Kristen did. My husband, who isn't too big into taking pictures, can't stop talking about how happy he is with the pictures and how much he enjoyed working with Jose and Kristen! We are already discussing when we can work with them again... family events, future babies, anniversaries... Choosing a photographer can be nerve-wracking, but with Jose and Kristen there wasn't a single nerve or worry. I am so glad we met them 3 years ago and chose them to be a part of our special day. A Dream Come True
When I found this harpist/photographer duo, it seemed like a dream. Live music at my wedding?? How awesome would that be?! I figured it would be too expensive, but I contacted them anyway and from the first interaction this pair was a joy to work with. The harpist understood the mood/theme we were going for and was able to play any song we wanted. The live music added a truly regal air to the whole ceremony. The photography was just beautiful as well! I love the creativity he put into every shot. For our engagement session we went to a mini golf course, the location of one of our favorite dates, and he used the scenery to get some of my all time favorite photos of us! On the wedding day the duo mixed seamlessly into the whole production. Jose had requested a list of shots I absolutely wanted to get, like the one with me and my two aunts that I will always treasure, and he was able to corral everyone to get the whole list completed. The production time was very reasonable and I can see the artistry behind every shot. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. -

Jose did my friends wedding and her photos turned out amazing so I hired him for mine. My wedding isn’t until December but my engagement pictures came out amazing! They were absolutely gorgeous! I looked at soooo many photographers before deciding on PhotoHarp and I couldn't be more pleased. Jose is hands down amazing and his work is STUNNING. I love the ease of getting my photos and being able to share them with our friends and family. Last night, I laid in bed, and looked through every picture (for the 1,000th time) and I was taken back to my wedding day all over again. My cousin used Photoharp for her wedding in December of last year. I was SO impressed with them, that I booked them for my wedding this year! Jose and his family are worth every single penny. He did our engagement photos, and our wedding photos. There isn’t one picture we don’t love! Not only were the pictures phenomenal, but he truly cares about all of his clients. He made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and I’m not someone who usually likes having pictures taken! He’s very responsive to messages and is 100% willing to work with you to make sure you get EXACTLY what you want! He did an amazing job editing our photos, got them done QUICKLY, and even made us a video with hi lights from the wedding (which made both of us cry)! We LOVE Photoharp and would HIGHLY recommend them! -

Jose and Kristen are an amazing team and we are incredibly pleased with the photos and harp music. Jose was very flexible when we needed to reschedule an engagement photo shoot. After that shoot and the wedding he provided great sneak peeks of the photos to come, his work is beautiful. You can tell he is very passionate and knowledgeable, so much so that he would lie in the grass or stand on chairs to get the right angle for a photo! -

These people are superhumans!!
I had no idea when we hired Jose and Kristen that they would end up being such an irreplaceable component in our wedding.
Not only were they an excellent support in planning and the time leading up to the wedding but they bravely battled a tropical storm (and MANY other adversaries throughout the duration of our ceremony) right along with us. They felt like the family you’d choose... if you had a choice 😉
I will be forever grateful for their teamwork, flexibility and perseverance.

Honestly, you could not get a better photographer. Jose is a very professional, easy to work with guy. I was not worried about anything at all on my wedding day. He made me feel so at ease and caught genuine moments that i will cherish for the rest of my life. I am truly blown away. His prices are very reasonable and after getting my pictures back all 700 of them (11 days after my wedding😱 how crazy is that?) i would have paid way more than what I did. They are priceless. He is THAT fantastic! You won’t regret letting him capture your day. He is a true pro and the photos themselves took my breath away. Thank you so much Jose for making me the happiest bride ever. What a duo!
Jose & Kristen are just FABULOUS! José does an amazing job with the pictures and expreases such creativity through photographs & Kristen for plays the harp beautifully and also is amazing at taking photographs. They are a wonderful team and what they do is priceless. Our photos came out amazing and they were able to capture every special moment in our wedding. The harp not only sounded beautiful, it added such an elegant and classy touch to our ceremony. This couple has a special talent! They are extremely warm and welcoming and make posing for pictures so effortless. I would HIGHLY recommmend. -

I personally known Jose (photographer) for over a decade. He is a great husband, father, friend and tirelessly hard worker. We could NOT think of another person to capture our day. Aside from knowing him personally, I have also witnessed his professional growth behind the lens. He has a natural way of capturing the perfect shot at just the right time. He is very creative. Best of all he has a great report with people. His directions are easy to follow and he worked hard to make the tons of pictures taken that day effortless and fun. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his wife Kristen- the harp at the wedding is just ridiculously beautiful! -

From the engagement pictures and letting us use whatever props we wanted (a dirt bike!!) to our wedding where he made everyone feel comfortable and happy to take pictures. We are no models by any means so we needed all the direction we could get and he was patient and so good with showing us great poses to give us amazing pictures! I have recommended him to other people and after attending my wedding and seeing him in action my best friend is using him for her wedding as well! If I ever need professional pictures done I will definitely be using him!

Katherine Sent on 05/01/2018My husband and I were just married in March. We planned and payed for the entire wedding ourselves, and as you can imagine we were faced with so many difficult decisions. Photo Harp Weddings, or as we call them Jose and Kristen, were the only easy decision we made! When we found their website we were in search of a harpist. We were stunned to find Kristen was half of a duo! Her husband Jose is also a wedding photographer and they work together to offer individualized packages! As someone who was sure finding a photographer alone would be an exhaustive search, it was hard to believe it could be this easy. We looked through their photo gallery and immediately reached out to them via email. They responded so quickly and answered all of our questions. In no time we had a basic idea of cost and had set a date to meet with them. I think what stuck out most when we met was how transparent and forth coming they both were. Jose eagerly showed us the equipment he uses and we were able to look through a physical album he had created. Kristen played her harp for us right then and there and offered to learn songs that weren't on her list. On top of all that, they didn't just hand us a black and white sheet with a list of prices. They took the time to talk through our vision and form a custom priced package that fit our needs!! As for the wedding day, I cannot imagine any two people better suited for the wedding business. Jose blended easily into the flow of our day without being the least bit intrusive but still capturing every single important moment. Even some moments I missed myself! He was kind, sharp, and paid such attention to detail. Kristen played perfectly and was truly stunning! She literally spent 15 minutes helping me bustle my gown because that's how caring she is! The turnaround time was outstanding. And I can genuinely say our photos and album are some of the most beautiful images I've ever seen outside of magazines! Thank you for making our dreams come true!
