Food was delicious — standout were Salmon with honey-soy glaze- wild rice, Chicken Francese with lemon sauce, and Short Ribs.

Attentive staff, stunning ballroom with huge dance floor, great cocktail space, bridal suite for prep/storage (lifesaver!), and plenty of free parking.

Brandon Tanguay (sales director) was amazing: patient, responsive, easy to work with, flexible, and super accommodating!

I had my wedding here a month ago and everything turned out the way I wanted to be. Ariel was so patient and kind with helping planning. I know we were driving her insane but she was a pleasure to work with and made sure we had everything we wanted at the wedding. The food was amazing as well!

a good place, the food is excellent, the staff are very friendly, it is a good place for weddings with children as they have a play area. The only thing I did not like is that it was 10 at night and the police even said to turn down the music because the neighbors complained but it is a golf club there are no houses nearby

Sarah has been great to work with! She's full of ideas and really knows what she's talking about. It doesn't hurt that the facility is gorgeous as well! I definitely recommend checking this place out!

There are not enough positive things that we can say about Janet and Ed from Philmont Country Club. We saw a few wedding venues prior to the Philmont and I sincerely wish we looked at Philmont first! They were so informative, detail-oriented and experienced that I walked away from the initial meeting with no questions. They truly left us speechless. The service the Philmont provided throughout the wedding planning process was absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with our venue. It was very evident that Janet and Ed absolutely love their job, knows what they are doing. They provided us with a sense of ease and comfort, which made it easy for us to trust that our wedding day would be absolutely beautiful. In addition to the incredible service, the country club offered beautiful decor and the perfect spaces for the bridal parties to get ready. It was so nice to have a place to get ready prior to the ceremony. The ceremony site and grounds of the country club, especially in September, were absolutely stunning. Inside, the ballroom was spacious, but also provided an intimate and comfortable setting . We also received many compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was and how the dance floor was the perfect size! We cannot thank Philmont Country Club enough for all they've done to make it an incredible experience for us. We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them to anyone interested in a venue that is beautiful and has an amazing and hard-working group of staff members!

Janet and team did such an amazing job! My wedding was everything I have ever dreamed of! Thee food was delicious. The room is spacious, did not feel cramped with 259 people.

Philmont Country Club is a spectacular wedding venue. It's beautiful inside and out, the service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. So many of our guests complimented the food. The bartenders were wonderful as well! We worked with Ed & Janet, who are expert wedding planners. They really think of everything and were flexible with our needs and requests. It rained on our wedding day, so we had the ceremony inside, in a room separate from the ballroom, and it was lovely and comfortable. The servers are very professional and went out of their way to make sure my husband and I were satisfied the whole time. We are so glad that we chose this venue for our wedding and would highly recommend it.

We visited so many venues and we are so happy that we decided on Philmont Country Club for our wedding. Ed and Janet were amazing throughout the entire process from the very beginning until the end of the wedding. All of our guests raved about the food, the staff, and the venue itself. I had so many people tell me how awesome the bartenders were and that the Filet Mignon was the best they had ever tasted. The cocktail hour was perfect - there were plenty of seats and the servers were everywhere with the food. No one went hungry during that hour! The servers were on point all night long - getting drinks for the tables and making sure everyone was perfectly happy all night long. From beginning to end Philmont Country Club was absolutely amazing and I would recommend to everyone that they have their wedding there. My husband and I could not have had a more amazing night and that is thanks to everyone at Philmont.

Philmont CC is a wonderful wedding venue! My husband and I looked at several venues in the area and Philmont offered the best package by far. We were so happy with the way everything turned out and got so many compliments from guests. The room was beautiful, the food delicious, and Ed Rubin made everything so easy! I would recommend this venue to all my friends and family!!

The Philmont Country Club was amazing. They were organized, flexible, and made sure everything was going smoothly. I didn't have to worry about anything! I really liked that they took the time and explained everything that we were paying for and was there during the whole night to help with anything that came up. We decided to go with the buffet and it was so organized that no one had to wait long for food. My husband and I even had some time to eat!

Loved the PCC! The reception and ceremony site were beautiful and we picked the perfect time of year for outside photos! Loved having my wedding there!

Ed is so easy to deal with, made the experience easy and things ran as smoothly as possible. Karen, the banquet manager, and her staff were great also. Any issues were dealt with right away and made our wedding better than I could have ever imagined.

The venue was beautiful. We really liked being able to extend our cocktail hour onto the porch. Ed Rubin was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable and accommodating. He followed through on anything he committed to and offered valuable suggestions when requested. The food was great also.

My husband and I tied the knot on 9/26/2015. From start to finish, working alongside of Ed Rubin(clubhouse manager) was nothing but bliss. He was so helpful with every question we had and trust me we had so many! We received an answer promptly and he would always find a way to accommodate our requests. If you are a bride looking for a country club, this is it! The club is absolutely beautiful and your photographer will be able to take awesome pictures on their beautiful grounds. During our reception the staff was so kind and so helpful. Our guests really enjoyed the service, they are still talking about it. I really just want to thank everyone at Philmont Country Club for ALL of their help especially Ed Rubin. Our day wouldn't have been the same without him!

I cannot say enough great things about Ed Rubin and the team at Philmont Country Club. They were so awesome and accommodating with EVERYTHING. The venue is absolutely beautiful...cocktail hour on the porch really set the tone for a unique, memorable summer wedding. Also, multiple guests have been in touch to tell me how delicious the food was. This place is a hidden gem! Be sure to visit if wedding planning in the Philadelphia area.

Philmont Country Club performed at every level for our wedding. The event coordinator and the entire staff were more then we could have hoped for.

My wedding reception at Philmont Country Club was ABSOLUTELY perfect!! From the moment we met Janet Ruben (the Director of Catering), she made the entire wedding process SO easy! She answered every single e-mail and was so prompt with her responses too! Janet even coordinated with my Uncle who did my flower arrangements for my reception. On the day of our actual wedding, everything was PERFECT at the Country Club. They made sure that my husband and I had some appetizers during the cocktail hour (while we were with the photographer taking some pictures), and made us a plate of food for dinner (which was delicious!!). If we ever needed anything through the night, Janet or Karen made sure we had it. I really don't think that my cocktail hour and wedding reception could have run any smoother. It's almost been a month since our wedding, and guests are still talking about Philmont Country Club! The entire staff at Philmont Country Club made my wedding day the best day of my life! I would highly recommend Philmont Country Club to future brides, or anyone else looking for a venue for an event!!

BOOK YOUR WEDDING AT PHILMONT COUNTRY CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a terrific experience at Philmont for our wedding ceremony and reception. The Director of Catering, Janet Ruben, was excellent from A-Z with our planning. Five star rating! Philmont was very accommodating…they never said no…either it was possible and/or possible, but will cost more money…it was all positive/all the time. Our cocktail hour was festive with music, butlered hors d'oeuvres, and a "signature drink" from the bar. We had three bartenders who were very attentive and hustled all-night. Kudos to the bartending staff!! The servers were excellent, guests were served alcohol at their seat during the reception, and the bell captain, Karen, was awesome. Philmont has a few different wedding packages...we had a buffet, and included with that package was our wedding cake from Bredenbeck's bakery in Chestnut Hill. HUGE BONUS! Also included with our package were the linens and the signature drink. The set-up of all three rooms was exactly as advertised and a huge hit with our guests. We have been to other venues where there are two/three weddings at the same time...it was important to us that we were the only event taking place at Philmont that night.

Philmont Country Club made our wedding a wonderful experience and we would strongly recommend Janet and Philmont for your wedding!!!!! We are still smiling!

Philmont did a wonderful job. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone at Philmont is extremely proffessional and they know what they are doing to have a seamless party.

Amazing venue, service, and food! We had the most magical evening. The venue looked gorgeous, the service was phenomenal, the food was outstanding, and our wedding coordinator, Janet, went above and beyond. Philmont really took care of everything and we are so happy that we chose this venue to have our wedding ceremony and reception!

One of the main reasons we picked Philmont was for their event coordinator - Janet Ruben. She is just fantastic. She has so much experience in the industry, and had a good knack for knowing what works and won't work.

The food was absolutely incredible. So many people say that banquet food can't be good - they're wrong! I had several people come up to me and tell me that the food was up there with some of the best restaurants they've been too. And they are very accommodating with food allergies (I have several family members that are Gluten Free and we also had some folks who required vegetarian and/or Kosher meals).

Janet worked with my decorator when it looked like it was going to rain - and my ceremony was quickly re-setup under the porch, which was great. I never even had to worry about it.

Philmont really made my day so special and it will certainly be a day to remember.

Our day was perfect from start to finish & all the staff at Philmont had everything covered from start to finish, so everything was flawless. The food was raved about for weeks after the event. Janet, the Director of Catering, helped plan everything & was a joy to work with. She never got tired of my many emails about every detail. Thank again!

Then we met Janet Ruben, the Director of Catering, and we knew we had found the perfect place to have our wedding. We didn't hesitate to secure the venue because we didn't want to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime.
The ceremony room was set up perfectly. Janet ran through the process with the wedding party and did a fantastic job making sure everyone was on queue. One of the girls in my bridal party came to me and said, “Wow, Janet is spot on in making sure everyone is right where they’re supposed to be.” I was thrilled!!
Cocktail hour was beautiful. The grounds were lovely for taking pictures. Although I didn’t have an opportunity to taste any of the appetizers, I heard they were delicious. The lobby setting was perfect for entertaining our guests between ceremony and reception.
Then came the reception, it was perfect. The dining tables were lovely. And the food (which I did eat) was extraordinary! The salad was fresh. The filet was tender, juicy, and so delicious. I tried my best to eat every morsel on my plate. I didn’t want it to end, it was so good. The desert plate was fantastic!!
And I can’t leave out the staff. Janet was such a pleasure to work with over the past year while preparing for the wedding. She was always kind, generous, and flexible. She was there every step of the way and I always felt very comfortable with her to express my wants for my wedding. The staff during the reception were wonderful and prompt. I loved my venue and knew philmont was the right choice for me. Food was excellent, staff was great. Ed Rubin was my rock during the planning period.

Where do i start from, THUMBS UP TO ED AND HIS TEAM at Philmont. Just got back from honeymoon, we were in Auckland New Zealand and loved every moment.What a wonderful experience. My wedding was the best day of my life! We used Philmont country club for our venue and its a decesion i never will regret, i loved every moment of planning my wedding with them that i would do it ALL OVER AGAIN.

Big wave to ED RUBIN @ Philmont, he is a RARE GEM and the best thing that happened to the country club.
He made me feel i was the ONLY client they had (far from it :), i'm sure) but thats what every bride wants, to know you have all your attention on her. The services rendered up until and past the wedding day were impeccable, they went above and beyond for me and my guests. They flexibility of bringing my own food and working with us was imeasurable, i had interviewed numerous venues, where their rules just annoyed the freak outta you, but Philmont was my saving grace. I cannot applaud them enough. My guest were truly amazed at the level of service and CARE given by the Philmont crew.

Very reasonable pricing AND the best services for the money. positive and upbeat staff. I didnt get the chance to say a BIG THANK YOU, for all your services on our wedding day,you really pulled everything together for us, and i just have to say THANKS. Congrats on your first nigerian wedding too, i will be recommending my friends your way.

Philmont Country Club provided the best possible service and experience for our big day. My fiancee and I visited 7 or 8 venues before Philmont and immediately we were impressed by the beautiful landscaping and reception venue. The manager, Ed Rubin, was exceptional! He went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. My wedding colors were mint green and lilac and Ed made a phone call so we could get the exact shade of green I wanted for our table linens. I was so impressed with his willingness to go the extra mile! Right before my wedding introduction my wedding gown bustle fell apart. Karen, a staff member, jumped in to help my MOH put my bustle up and luckily between the two of them were able to fix my dress the second the DJ was announcing my new last name for the first time! I would have been late for my entrance if it wasn\'t for Karen jumping in to help my bridesmaids. The food at Philmont was exceptional! Not only was the food scrumptious but the appearance wowed our guests. I had such a great experience with Ed, the catering manager and the rest of the Philmont team. I felt like I was the only bride they were focused on and my wedding day was perfect!!! I was so happy with my experience and I couldn\'t have put the most important day of my life in better hands. I can\'t say enough good things about my wedding day experience and I highly recommend Philmont to future brides!!!

The Philmont recently underwent some outdoor renovations, after we had already booked with them. I have a 4 for professionalism because I didn’t find out about it until I went for the food tasting! They changed things up, mid wedding planning, so there was a miscommunication issue there!

The renovations were completed and the Pergula looked amazing once finished! Sadly, a tornado rolled in the day of, so we couldn’t use it, but, we were lucky enough to have the rain stop and clear up, to be outside under the covered porch!

Ariel, had her work cut out for her! She had the inside room decorated and the covered porch swept and dried and ran back and forth between the two all day! She was amazing and attentive to the bridesmaids in the bridal suite and the groomsmen in their room! I’m so grateful for her that day! She kept our vision of the outside wedding alive!

The food was incredible, cocktail hour and plated dinner! The menu changed for the better and we were able to do Filet Mignon! The pieces of meat were huge! The Philmont’s chefs are incredibly talented! Nothing but compliments on the food all night!

I’m so grateful that I was able to have my wedding here! It was a magical day and beautiful venue, that didn’t break the budget! The staff was amazing and other than the minor miscommunication with the renovations, I’d have rated them a 5 star! This place knows weddings!!! Check them out! 😉

We are so happy that we chose Philmont for our wedding! Janet is amazing, the food was great, the service was outstanding and it was beautifully run the entire night. My only gripe is that the ceremony didn't run as smoothly as I would have liked, but none of the guests noticed and it came off just perfectly in the end. I would definitely highly recommend Philmont for your wedding reception!

I chose Philmont Country Club as my reception venue 2 years before I even set my wedding date. My husband (fiancé then) and I looked at multiple venues in the area because we knew we would have a big wedding (almost 300 guests) but found nothing that we loved and could afford. I fell in love with Philmont as soon as we arrived. They keep the golf course and the inside of the venue pristine. This was really helpful for us since we didn't have to travel to take photos or video coverage. They came out AMAZING because of the beautiful course.
When I first visited Philmont, they had a different manager. This manager was in contact with me for the duration of two years as my fiancé & I tried to save money to set our wedding date. She was incredibly helpful. When it came time to set our date, we discovered that this manager had moved on & now we would be working with Ed Ruben. At first we were uncertain about working with someone entirely new to us. However, Ed had been working at Philmont for quite some time. He was able to pick up right where the last manager left off. He accommodated us in any way he could. Ed was so flexible & patiently answered all my incredibly detailed questions. He answered emails when he wasn't even at his office. I had some last minute changes with guests the night before my wedding, & he was responding to me at midnight! Ed truly made it a point to ensure that wedding planning was not stressful for me. As a bride, he made me feel like a queen leading up to my wedding AND on my wedding day. Ed was very detail oriented & made sure that everything was set up as we discussed. The staff at Philmont were so helpful and friendly the day of the wedding. Not to mention the food was AMAZING. We chose to have a buffet and many of our guests commented on how great their meal was.I really don't have a negative thing to say about Philmont. I'm forever grateful to you Ed, and your staff, for being a huge part of making my dream wedding come true.

The ceremony went off with out a hitch. The service was fantastic, the banquet room was decorated beautifully with a great spacious dance floor, top notch bar and staff. The butler-ed appetizers were exceptional in taste and portions and just kept coming . Dinner was delicious and served in a timely manor. The bridal suite was nicely decorated and roomy with large bath. Overall...All good!
