DJ Anthony is the BEST!!!!

DJ anthony did everything we asked for and more at our wedding. He took time to speak with us before the wedding to make sure he understood exactly what we envisioned. He perfectly captured the vibe we were looking for on the dance floor, which was packed all night! All of our guests told us how much fun they had, and that was in large part due to DJ Anthony. He is a true professional and a genuinely good person; he took our input seriously and did a fantastic job from start to finish. We couldn't recommend him highly enough.

DJ Anthony

The two things I wanted to ensure for my wedding was good food and good music. I wanted everyone on the dance floor all night long. I was extremely nervous with committing to a company in fear the music won’t be what we asked for. When I was recommend Philly Event Groups,
Bob Mills answered every question I had and went into great detail about their company as well. He made the process incredibly easy! Once he heard my fears about picking a DJ he knew the perfect guy, DJ Anthony! He did not disappoint one bit. DJ Anthony called us to go over everything we wanted and answered all of our questions leading up to the day. The night of our wedding obviously went by so fast I told him to scratch the rest of the slow songs, everyone had such an amazing time on the dance floor!

Great music and service!

We had the string quartet play during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and they were amazing. We had so many guests rave about their performance! For the reception, DJ Anthony was awesome. Our wedding venue was a bit weird in terms of where/how he had to set up, but he took it in stride and had the entire wedding dancing the whole time. The music was great and his energy was awesome! He even hung around for a bit after the wedding and helped some of our wedding party crew put away decorations. DJ Anthony went above and beyond! And the entire process of booking both the quartet and the DJ was super quick and easy.

Unbelievable energy!

We loved how Spectrum took the time to learn each song that meant so much to our relationship and they kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We could not have imagined a better energy coming from the stage and all of our guests dancing.

Bob Mills is exactly the right person for the job.

My husband and I are both very particular about details and that all things run smoothly for an event. We knew how we wanted everything to be and how everything was to flow at our wedding reception (I think most couples do). The biggest stress is feeling as if you have to take a significant amount of time to train everyone else involved, because, how else would they know what you want? But, Bob is so well-versed in running a reception/event, and he knows all of the right questions to ask. It was a huge weight off our shoulders as we soon realized that we could trust him to take charge of the reception. And, done just how we want! I am very confident in recommending him to anyone and everyone. Seriously. Thank you, DJ Bob!

Great Experience!

We had DJ Bob and he could not have done a better job! He is a true professional. The dance floor was filled the entire night. The lighting looked great. He was very helpful in the planning process and very flexible and accommodating when we had to postpone due to COVID. Would recommend to anyone!

All around amazing DJ!

DJ Bob was amazing! During these COVID times, so much for our wedding had to change close to the last minute, but it didn't feel like it at all on the day of. Our DJ seemed to be in contact with our other professionals, sharing the schedule and such. For the planning, he helped us to see how the reception would go - when we'd eat, when we'd greet guests, when we'd dance, or play the newlywed game. While there were some songs we didn't necessarily prefer, that was entirely on us. We included songs in certain genres of music in our list of music to play without clarifying that we didn't want OTHER songs in those same genres. I'm sure that Bob would've played the exact songs we wanted if we had been more specific there. Hiccups happen, I can't say it was 100% perfect, but probably close to 99%, and that's about as well as I could expect from ANYONE. But overall we were really happy to have him there. He did a great job with introductions, with planning, responding to us quickly, working with other vendors, playing good music when everyone was dancing along, with changing up some songs last minute, etc.

Professional, patient and a great DJ/MC

I am the mother of the groom and Philly Event Group was recommended to us by The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, NJ. DJ Jake was the MC/DJ at the wedding ceremony. DJ Jake was very professional. He spoke to the couple who were very picky about what they wanted. DJ Jake called and spoke with them and had several emails and telephone conversations about what they wanted on their special day. I was so impressed with DJ Jake, he was very patient and several guests gave compliments on the DJ during the COVID-19 wedding reception.

Amazing Quality, Well worth it!

Our wedding was DJed/MCed by none other then the amazing DJ Bob! He exceeded our desires not only with his DJ skills but his professionalism and communication. He worked with us before the wedding to ensure everything was organized and set up. When it came to music choices we felt completely comfortable talking to him about our music preferences and he helped us plan the timing of the night. For newly weds it is important to get a DJ that you trust, this is the guy from the planning process to the night itself! We keep getting comments about how no one has ever seen so many people on the dance floor! Honestly, the music was balanced perfectly for my swing and blues dance preferences to the classic wedding hits!

Great Connection with our guests!

DJ Anthony was fantastic! He tool the time to really connect with the kids at our party (all 70+ of them!) He was open to accommodate their wishes and did a great job in organizing and running the dance off competition they decided they wanted to have. The kids had a blast and I think they would have gone on all day if the venue would have let them stay. The sign of total success was the pictures I received from Moms with kids passed on the car! Thanks DJ Anthony for being so considerate and fun with the kids. I appreciate your contribution to making my sons 8th birthday "lit" LOL :)

Stellar service at a good price

I was very happy with both the vendors sent out (DJ and photobooth operator). They accommodated the kind of last-minute special requests that only a 13-year-old girl could dream up. The event coordinator handled all the details of load-in, etc. directly with my venue, and the party went very smoothly.

Best DJ ever!!

DJ Bob was our DJ for our wedding on 10-4-19. To say DJ Bob was GREAT, is an understatement! When we were looking for DJs, I called a few and we weren’t impressed! Then I called DJ Bob and could just feel his energy, enthusiasm, and love for what he does! We booked him almost immediately! Then when we first met DJ Bob at the “icing on the cake” event at the Raddison hotel in king of Prussia, we knew for sure he was the one! So full of energy and just good vibes! He felt like family through the whole hectic process of wedding planning! Anytime we wanted to talk, DJ Bob was there to call or email. At one point we wanted to meet in person and he had no hesitation to meet us at a halfway point to talk! We gave him some songs as must plays and he took it from there! He can really feel the crowd and play what needed to be played to have everyone dancing! DJ Bob worked great with our photographer and videographer, allowing them to use his equipment if needed. His energy and MC skills are second to none! The few kids we had at the wedding absolutely loved him, he played songs for them and even joined in some funny dances with them, also showing our son who is 6 how he changes songs and some of his equipment. Our son loved shadowing DJ Bob all night and Bob loved it too! DJ Bob made our wedding run as smooth as possible. If you want a DJ who truly cares about you and making your wedding special, DJ Bob is the one! DJ BOB WE THANK YOU FOR BEING GREAT!

An amazing, friendly, fun, and talented DJ!

DJ Bob was recommended to us by the staff at Cairnwood Estate (Bryn Athyn, PA), which is an extremely elegant, top-rated wedding venue, so we knew he had to be good! He completely delivered! From the first inquiry, to the last phone call to go over every detail of the schedule, and then finally to the day of our wedding- he was nothing but professional, warm, fun, and efficient! He was always quick to respond to any of our questions and he completely understood our style and music preferences after only a few minutes of chatting with him! We didn’t have to worry about a thing on our big day- he was there early and had everything set up and ready to go. He made the transition from our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception seamless! Our dreams came true

Our wedding was amazing! Everyone at Philly Event Group was amazing. The packages were affordable and made everything so easy because it was all combined(DJ, photographer and videographer). Richard Barnes our photograoher had a great vision and we loved him. DJ Anthony and Jeff our videographer were on point all night and we couldnt be happier knowing we were in good hands. Great Service

I was so excited to have DJ Magic Mark for my daughter's Sweet 16. He was great and made the entire evening about her. He was extremely lively, entertaining, accommodating to my requests, and totally understanding about my needs. Everyone, especially my daughter, had a wonderful time. Anthony managed the photo booth and was great from the start. He was able to hang my daughter's banner as the background, which turned out great with the pictures. I was nervous about where to put it in the hall, but he made things so easy for me. He did a great job with the pictures, and everyone had a blast taking photos with the props. Both Mark and Anthony helped make the event a great night. Bob Mills, my event coordinator was a pleasure to work with also. He made the entire process simple and easy for me. Bob Mills was so responsive to my every call to him as I planned a big birthday party for our daughter. He always called me right back .

Bob Mills is a class act, top notch DJ who knew exactly how to get people of all ages up on the dance floor. He lit the dance floor on fire with his mix of songs for children and adults from 10 months to 93 years old and had everyone having the time of their lives. Bob “made” Becky’s 30th party a rocking good time and he also got a great photo booth vendor to do our party. Everyone got their pictures taken and he had many, many props to choose from.My daughter is excited to make a scrapbook of her special day and we are so very happy we chose Bob Mills to DJ and coordinate the photo booth fun. Bob has a great deal of experience as a DJ and we couldn’t have been happier with the great time he made of our party. He was easy to talk to and always got back to me in a timely manner,usually that day or the next morning. So fun and great for all ages!!

Bob from Philly Event Group was an amazing DJ and MC. He DJed both our ceremony and reception locations. At the ceremony he helped us to keep our timeline on track to provide our guests with the best experience possible and helped us customize our music to make it reflect our style. At the reception he was the life of the party. He is able to gauge the mood of the room with the music and the lighting he provided. He had all ages from 4 - 88 year olds up out of their seats dancing. He played exactly what we requested and understood our vision for the entire day. A Terrific Band

My first contact with the Millennium was through Bob Mills in their sales office. I found him to be extremely friendly and easy to reach by both phone and email which really simplified planning for the wedding. We added one saxophone to the band so that we had one band leader plus eight band members.
On the day of the wedding, the band arrived early and got set up in a timely manner. Travis, the band leader, did a great job announcing the wedding party and all of the band members were friendly and responsive to our requests. To top it off their music was outstanding! Our daughter and her new husband were thrilled and there was lots of dancing. Their guests of all ages raved about the music and wanted their business card. Millennium truly helped make our daughter and son-in-law's wedding a joyous celebration!

We chose to use Philly Event Group as our vendor. DJ Anthony kept the party going for us all night, and made the night a success! We all had such a great time and it was an unforgettable night. Best entertainment!

We saw MC Tee at an event in the DC area two years ago. He had everyone up and dancing. We booked him that week. He came from the DC area to our Philly event (Philly Events and Washington Talent are the same Company). He was amazing. So was the DJ and the his the dancers. We got so many compliments. We have been to tons of events and they are by far the most fun and interactive. Bob Mills is also super attentive and even showed up to our event to check on things.

Best MC, best team, fantastic customer support

Saw MC Tee at another event 2 years ago, and had NEVER seen people flock to the dance floor (including us) like that. They are easy to work with, responsive and communicative (Bob Mills is wonderful to help plan the event as well) and I would hire them in a heartbeat for our next event. THANK YOU!

Above and beyond my expectations

You cannot go wrong with Dynasty DJ’s. The dance floor was packed the entire wedding reception. Great personalities, seemless dance mix, cool vibe. You know it’s a great wedding when the waitstaff is dancing!!! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact, I can’t imagine a better DJ. All the guests I asked said this was THE BEST wedding they ever attended. THANK YOU DYNASTY DJ’S!!!!

Awesome Entertainer and DJ!!!

This is the second time we've had the absolute pleasure of working with Bob and he certainly brought his A game again this year. He took the time to find out what our group enjoys and then delivered big time making sure everyone was having a good time and getting everyone involved. The presentation with the lighting package was great and got everyone in the holiday mood right from the beginning. Scheduling and planning our party was smooth and easy and we'll certainly use Bob again for our next event!

Company Christmas Party!

We used Bob Mills for our Company Christmas Party. Bob did a great job for us... he kept the crowd engaged with different games and line dances! He made my job as the party planner easier with his MC skills - making important announcements and facilitating the evening. Bob also worked with me during the sales process, making sure I could meet my budget.

Great Night of Fun with Onyx

Our daughter wanted a high energy experience that would keep everyone out on the dance floor and Onyx did not disappoint. The singers even came down into the crowd and really made the night electric! They were everything we were hoping for.

Best Dj and Photographer Around

Bob was amazing!! He was easy to work with, and handled all of our needs. He brought along Dj Anthony who was perfect!! they kept the music playing all night, dance floor was full. They provided us with lighting that matched our wedding colors. Richard was long for the ride as well. Any photo idea that we had, he made happen. We got the proofs back and they are so beautiful. Bob and Richard made every part of this process as easy as possible. From making payments, to preparing list for our big day. We could not have picked better people to help us celebrate our big day. Thank you guys so much.

DJ Bob was Great!

DJ Bob was affordable in price and AWESOME at what he does! We were a little clueless as to what we were supposed to be doing and he guided us in the right direction. He listened to us and was very accommodating to our odd work schedules and wedding requests. He let us come see him perform at a wedding before we made our final decision. He really shows that he enjoys what he does and that's what we loved most about working with him! At the end of the night, Bob gave us CDs of all the songs that he played and planned to play at our wedding from cocktail hour to dancing music, we have it all! It a great way to relive the night! He really helped make our wedding the best night ever!

Bob also was able to provide lighting for our venue, I had the great last minute idea that I wanted market lights throughout our cocktail hour area and he was able to accommodate to that and it looked great!

Amazing!! Look no further

DJ Bob and Anthony were incredible. The music at a wedding can make it or break it. DJ Bob had our guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. People were begging for more songs when the last song of the night was announced. The lighting that they brought made the room feel so cozy. The Shoe Game that was suggested by DJ Bob was a HUGE hit. I have not one complaint. If you are looking for a DJ, look no further, you’ve found the best :)

Mother of the Groom

When you suddenly realize you have to plan a wedding and are just so overwhelmed....Bob Mills to the rescue!!!! I will never forget the day he responded to my phone call “instantly” and Bob has been a “godsend” ever since.
As a representative of Philly Event Group, Bob has a wealth of information. He put us in touch with the greatest band ever... Soul City Shakedown... and accompanied us to band showcases. He was patient and thorough in discussing details and options of services that would work within our budget and guest list. He provided us a beautiful sound system for our ceremony, amber lighting that looked like candlelight, a monogram for our reception hall and a Photobooth that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Bob can also supply photography and videography services as well.

We got married Oct 7, 2018 at Spring Mill Manor. As we all know, weddings can be expensive. Even the smallest and most essential parts of the wedding can blow your budget. I needed lighting and dance floor lighting for the wedding. I had looked in to many vendors and companies to find the right one. After going through so many, I found the Philly Event Group. I contacted them and immediately received a response from Bob Mills, who was on vacation but found time to answer me. Soon after, we had a brief consultation and went through what I wanted to get for the wedding. I ended up getting "up-lighting, which filled a room for 220 guest, pin spotting for the cake, a GOBO, dance floor lighting with moving heads, and he even threw in 6 pin spot lights the day of the wedding". Now, I did plenty of research and every place that I requested a quote from, would have quoted me about $2,500 plus. Yes, I thought it was pretty insane. However, after going through the consultation with Bob from Philly Event Group, which was an absolutely smooth process. He gave me the magic number and I almost fell out my chair when he quoted me their pricing. I don't want to mention how much it was on here, but let me tell you this, it was no where near the $2,500 that I was getting elsewhere. You would also think, no way, something that cheap must not look good. You can bet, that definitely crossed my mind. Boy, was I wrong! The Philly Event Group blew my mind with their lighting! The day of the wedding, they came in, started doing their thing and put life into the venue. It was so easy working with them, the process was very smooth. I paid a deposit, then paid the rest of the balance 10 days before the wedding. From a communication stand point, there were no hiccups and my questions were answered timely. I would highly highly recommend the Philly Event Group for your lighting needs. They are affordable, professional, and great at what they do!

We just had a fantastic wedding with DJ Bob Mills at the helm and will recommend DJ Bob to friends and family planning their own weddings for years to come! My husband and I first encountered Bob at my cousin's wedding. We thought he did a great job and asked for his card. My cousin confirmed that he was wonderful to work with during the sales and planning process, which was our experience as soon as we reached out. He was prompt, direct and gave us plenty of time to ask questions (and questions and more questions) before we finally signed the contract. His rates were competitive with DJs who offered fewer services and had less glowing reviews. He also threw in a ton of LED up lights, which really transformed our rustic barn wedding venue (several guests commented how cool they were). During the pre-wedding call, he took the time to understand our play and don't-play lists and our policy on guest requests. He gave great suggestions and respected our choices. He also got in contact with our photographer to help coordinate things on the back-end, which was one less thing off our plate!

The actual wedding went off without a hitch, much to DJ Bob's credit. He played most of the songs we wanted to hear, none of the ones we didn't, and he selected great wedding standards and crowd-pleasers. He and his assistant Chris did a great job leading guests through the Cupid Shuffle, etc, and figured things out on their own during set-up if someone was not readily around to help. Guests loved him. At one point, he approached me to make a decision about the exit, and I was a little overwhelmed with all the activities, so he gave me a simple, direct answer. It was super helpful. Bob knows how to read a room and help the bride, groom and their guests have a great day. He is 2 for 2 for our family events! Highly recommend!

After I sent my initial email to Philly Event Group I received an email right away. From there I chose DJ Bob and I could not be happier that I did! He was so quick to respond and was happy to go over every detail with me (and I was a little crazy about the music and lighting). A few days before the wedding he called me to go over the schedule for the day and had a great suggestion for the night which ended up being perfect. The dance floor was packed the whole night, he played everything that we had asked for and the songs that we hadn't specifically chosen were great. DJ Bob did the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and the announcements he made were perfect. He was so nice the night of our wedding and handled a ton of requests from our guests while still respecting what we had asked for. So so happy!!

The band we selected was Spectrum with band leader Ben Kaufman and they were phenomenal. The music was tailored to exactly what we wanted. People were dancing from beginning to end.
Additionally, the coordination of the entire band services by Bob Mills and Ben Kaufman including working with our wedding planner, ensure enough power for all the musical needs, working with bride and groom to select ceremony music was superb. The team was highly responsive to all questions and requested. They were the best and made our wedding spectacular.

I cannot say enough great things about Philly Event Group, in particular Bob Mills, who is by far the most committed entertainment professional I've ever known. As a wedding and event professional, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Bob over the years by observing him at work with our clients. When my big day rolled around, there was only one DJ that I wanted to work with and that was Bob. I trusted Bob to care as much about making our special day perfect as Ryan & I did. In fact, since Bob is in such high demand, Ryan & I changed our wedding date to ensure his availability. We couldn't be more glad that we did.

Bob is so patient. We have 3 young, extremely energetic, children. Trying to coordinate times to speak about music selections becomes difficult, but Bob graciously worked with us and our later evening availability when the kids were in bed (or supposed to be anyway.) Because I can never make things easy, I decided that my bridesmaids and I would be walking down the aisle to the same song, with my dad and I entering at the crescendo leading into the third verse. This required rehearsal and Bob worked with me and my bridal party to ensure we were timed out perfectly.

Philly Event Group can also assist with providing lighting and other enhancements. We choose a location that does not have built in uplighting and took advantage of their services. It was definitely the right decision. The room was beautiful, but the lighting really made it all come together.

Highly recommend. My fiance and I had initially booked one performer (Ara) through philly event group and had a bit of a scare when she had to cancel on us just a few months out. However, Bob, our coordinator really stepped up to make the situation right. He found an amazing replacement option, The Dynasty Djs, that was even better than the original. I think how someone handles challenges tells you a lot about them, and they definitely put their clients first

Had a wonderful experience working with DJ Bob Mills at Philly Event Group. Bob was so friendly to work with and always very accommodating. My husband and I were having our wedding in PA but live in CO, and despite the different time zones, Bob always found time to talk with us on our schedule and we really appreciated that. The uplighting was absolutely stunning for our wedding. Philly Event group exceeded our expectations, and the way that they set up the lights to reflect on our flower wall behind our sweetheart table was breath-taking. We worked with DJ Bob Mills from Philly Event group. Bob did a great job with coming up with a line up of songs that fit our tastes and keep the dance floor crowded! We had some requests for songs that needed to be shortened or combined (first dance song and mother-son song) which Bob was able to do without any problem! Working with Bob leading up to the wedding went smoothly, we met in person once and then communicated via email and over the phone.

DJ Bob is the absolute greatest. He provided the ceremony music. I had a few weird requests but he provided exactly what I wanted. He provided a live band for the cocktail hour. Gruppo Nostra was outstanding. Our guests loved them. He also provided not just music, but also entertainment and lighting and emcee services for the reception. We literally could not have had our wedding without him. He is also a genuinely nice guy and was so helpful during the planning process. Go with Philly Event Group for your wedding and if you can get DJ Bob your wedding will be epic!

DJ Bob, Stan and Cody were absolutely amazing! From first contact - to the actual ceremony- to the very last song - they did a perfect job. When we first met DJ Bob, he instantly understood our "vision" of the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour. He is an amazing DJ! Everyone raved about the live music during the cocktail hour/ceremony with Stan & Cody. We were absolutely speechless - and so was everything else. Magic Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with. We are very grateful to Mark and Philly Event Group for making our wedding reception so great for everyone. They were very straightforward about prices and packages, which were all a great value, and accommodating in working with us on our special requests. We were in need of a lot of guidance, and Mark was always more than willing to hop on the phone with us to help plan and prepare. He helped us with so much more than just the music, from the introductions of the wedding party and family to the timing of events like cutting the cake. He worked with us to help answer questions we didn’t even know we had, such as how long we’d want our first dance to last. He was always willing to offer suggestions based on his experience, without ever being pushy, always giving us the final say. He was very proactive in communicating with us leading up to the wedding and making sure that everything was exactly as we wanted it.

The reception was a blast because of Mark. When we got to our reception he met with us for a few minutes to go over any last minute questions we had, which was really helpful and helped us prepare for the night. He nailed all of the introductions, including the difficult to pronounce names, because he made the effort to ask in advance how everyone wants to be introduced. We had a wide range of ages among our guests, and we didn’t have too many suggestions for specific songs, only genres and styles that we wanted, so we let Mark pick most of the music. Mark kept the party going at just the right pace, going back and forth between faster and slower songs with great timing as the evening progressed. He took requests from us and our guests and was really accommodating and approachable. He made the reception fun for everyone - every single person we talked with after our wedding said that this was honestly one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to, and Mark deserves a lot of the credit for that.

We absolutely love PEG! We booked photographer, photo booth, and DJ through them. DJ Bob Mills was our coordinator, and lucky for us, was also available to DJ and MC our big day! He was available to answer all our questions during the planning process and really took the time in the weeks before our wedding to really get to know us and our musical taste. He did the music and MC duties for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception and was on point for all three. He also provided uplifting, at no extra cost, that really enhanced the decor. Our guests had an amazing time, largely thanks to him :) everyone loved the photo booth, too. The attendant was super fun and we paid a little extra for him to provide a scrap book and everything needed for guests to leave us some memories of the night. Our photographer, Richard Barnes, was amazing! He was so patient with me (as I was stressing out pre-wedding about pictures with our two young toddlers) and got some really great shots. Any time he saw people getting together for a group photo during reception, he was there to snap a professional shot. We were so happy with the quality we got for the price and would absolutely recommend!

Wedding 3/17/2018: My husband and I worked with Bob Mills, John Hall, and the Black Tie Band and could not have been more pleased with how our event turned out. Bob and John were extremely helpful and professional during the planning phase, willing to customize their services based on our preferences, and really making us feel that they were invested in the success of our event. Bob DJed the ceremony and the cocktail hour and John Hall and the Black Tie Band did the reception. All three parts of the wedding were excellent. Bob even voluntarily helped manage some special circumstances we had around our ceremony WHILE DJing. The service was really above and beyond. On top of that, the Black Tie Band performed all night and kept the dance floor packed. We have received tons of compliments on their performance.

Whereas the majority of the wedding DJs who we researched seemed to be focused on creating a Jersey Shore nightclub type vibe, Bob provided the perfect blend of modern music, classic rock, and was happy to avoid what we consider to be corny traditional music such as the chicken dance and electric slide.

Bob was very responsive and answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns promptly. When we first met with Bob at a restaurant nearby, he showed up 10 minutes early and was fully prepared. He walked us through the timeline, the process, and the cost and completely put our minds at ease.

In our opinion, Bob went above and beyond his duties as DJ by arriving quite early to the venue on the day of our wedding. He met with our banquet manager and various other event staff, including our officiant, to ensure that everyone was aware of the schedule of events. Bob was a consummate professional in every way possible.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Bob and we highly recommend him!

MC Lance is awesome. He is a great time while simultaneously being on top of the party and the schedule. Everything got done without anyone ever stressing. He played every song we requested, kept the up energy of the event and the flow moving. MC Lance also helped me plan the reception. I had no idea how I wanted it to go and he guided me through the steps and listened to my needs and made the schedule to perfectly reflect what we wanted. Everyone was raving about how much fun they had at the reception.

Richard Barnes took the most beautiful photos! He took the photos we requested and he also took many fantastic candid shots. He knows what needs to be shot without having to be told. (that being said, if you have something different that you want he will accommodate.) We have had such a good time looking at our pictures they really captured the event and the fun we had.
The photobooth was so fun! Mandi was very professional and super patient with all of us and our silliness. Everyone had a good time in the photobooth AND came out with the pictures they wanted. At first, we weren't going to spend the extra money on the photobooth, but now I'm so glad we did!
From the very beginning Bob made me feel comfortable in the wedding planning process. I knew I could go to him with any questions, and he even allowed me to make last minute changes. He explains everything step by step and shows a lot of compassion.

We got engaged in November 2017 and were married in January 2018 so we had only a little over a month to plan our wedding. Getting the photographer, DJ, and photobooth all in one place with Bob as the event coordinater made that possible. We truly could not have done it without Philly event group.

We hired Bob Mills to DJ our corporate Christmas Party. First time using a DJ and was the best decision we made. Already booking Bob for 2018!!!

My husband and I worked with Bob Mills from Philly Event Group for our wedding. Bob is a fantastic DJ, wonderful person, and overall a joy to work with! Bob was very helpful and involved from the moment we hired him through the wedding day. From our first conversation, Bob was very helpful in thinking through all aspects of music and lighting. I found Bob’s questions during the planning process to be very helpful in framing my thoughts for the wedding and for illuminating aspects that I hadn't considered yet. Bob is skilled at knowing what to ask and is exceedingly flexible - he brings his vast experience to all conversations, but he leaves all decisions to the bride and groom. I found Bob’s questions during the planning process very helpful.

On the wedding day, Bob was completely prepared with the sound and lighting systems. He kept the night interactive and moving smoothly. The guests loved him! He created a rapport with everyone from my great-aunts to my friends and family. Everyone was out on the dance floor. So many people have commented on how wonderful and how much fun DJ Bob was. I loved the music selections he picked based on our conversations, and Bob also shared the music compilations with my husband and I afterwards. It’s been so much fun to listen to the music afterwards and relive the day!

We were married a week ago and we are still talking about how great DJ Bob and staff were. We have received many compliments on the music and Bob's MC'ing. Through the ceremony, cocktail and reception he made sure to play all the songs we requested and more, the dance floor was always full because he had us dancing and rock and rolling all night. We also used the photo booth service which was a HUGE hit with our guests. Through the planning process Bob, was super accessible and helpful when we needed ideas and guidance on ceremony and reception schedules. We definitely recommend Bob and Philly Event Group for their ease of access, value and professionalism.

Bob was an absolute pleasure to work along with, and I would highly recommend to anyone for any type of event. My lighting requests came in very last minute, and he was able to produce beautiful gobo lightening that was showcased throughout the venue for an evening corporate event. The turn around time was basically overnight for the lighting, might I add with no rush charges, and Bob was onsite himself to oversee setup. I truly was thrilled with the final product, the flexibility to work along with my schedule, overall cost, and professionalism that Bob encompasses. It made my job onsite much easier, and I will certainly be using this company for future events.

From the very first conversation with DJ Bob I knew that we had to have him for our wedding day. Bob was so personable to work with and made the entire process easy, seamless and enjoyable! (Which is such a relief during the stress of planning a wedding). Bob responded to every e-mail in an extremely prompt manner-- within hours! Even if he was away or if it was a weekend he always addressed any concerns or jitters than myself or my now, husband, had. DJ Bob listened to our concerns and really made our day feel like us. Our entire party was dancing all night! and we had the perfect blend of oldies and new music that everyone could enjoy. DJ Bob is as professional as they come and it was the best decision to book with him! We are still receiving compliments from our friends and family of how awesome he was and how he made our reception what it was. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience from the first phone call to the day of execution -- you will not regret having DJ Bob be a part of your wedding!

I cannot recommend DJ Bob enough. So many of our guests have complimented us on having such a great DJ at our wedding - and we'd have to agree! Not only did Bob keep the dance floor going all night, he was extremely helpful and flexible as our plans changed last minute. It actually downpoured in the middle of our outdoor ceremony, and Bob handled it flawlessly. From running an umbrella up to us at the front, to moving the cocktail hour indoors, to rearranging our reception timeline - he made everything come together flawlessly and without myself or my groom having to worry at all. He played the exact kind of music we requested and I have to say, I've never seen so many people dance the whole time at a wedding! It was the best we could've asked for. Aside from the wedding itself, DJ Bob handled the sales and planning process in the most professional manner, making sure we were happy and taken care of at every step of the way. From the very first phone call with DJ Bob we felt like we could trust him. He was so friendly that it felt as though we had known him way longer than just a few minutes! The month of the big day we had a call to discuss how and when everything would be happening and he was very detail oriented, and I was impressed! He made the planning process so easy which, as the bride, gave me one less thing to worry about! Thank goodness! On the day of, the playlist was better than I even imagined from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the night. And the lighting was fantastic! He matched my wedding colors perfectly! DJ Bob made our night absolutely perfect- from helping us plan our night, coordinating and communicating with all of our vendors, to having the perfect music to keep the party going all night!! He gave ideas for a few games through the night to make things fun and different. He made our night even more special by working with my nephew and cousin so they could sing and play the ukelele for us. He made sure the sound was perfect and everything ran smoothly. DJ Bob was so great to work with! He not only took care of the music during our reception but he also supplied some equipment during the ceremony and provided some lighting around the venue for the reception. Both of which I had no idea where to go to for that so it was so convenient that is something he offered. He offered some other services that we did not end up using but definitely sounded exciting! We were so pleased with all of it. We spent about an hour or so on the phone before the wedding to try to better understand us as a couple and what we wanted to hear the night of the wedding.
A big bonus is that he handed us a cd at the end of the night with the playlist from the night, such a great token to keep!

Bob at Philly Event Group is truly amazing. The entire company is so accommodating, you feel stress free when it comes to the music and your timeline. As a bride, this is so very important. Bob was so attentive to my needs and what was extremely important to me that I felt I didn't have to check on a thing. He assured me numerous times that he would take great care of me and my guests, and that is exactly what he did. Everything that I imagined it would be, it was, and more. He is such a kind, vibrant man, but is professional all at the same time. I wasn't worried at all that things wouldn't go as I had requested. We had the most fun! BT and Encore were absolutely incredible. A true highlight for everyone (even keeping my 85 year old great aunt on the dance floor all night!). DJ Bob Mills was great - he was very friendly, organized, and attentive to details. He was able to bring all the lighting for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space and brought an assistant to help him DJ. He was very helpful with timing of our schedule and very engaging with our guests. We also had a photo booth that served its purpose and DJ Bob provided a CD of all images afterwards. All songs from our playlist were also provided to us shortly after our wedding. We would definitely recommend him to others!

I cannot say give enough positive feedback for our experience with Philly Event Group. Our DJ for our wedding on 6/23/27, Bob Mills, was incredible. From our very first call (a year before our event), he made me feel as though we had nothing to worry about. He very quickly worked to put together a package to suit our needs. He sent us several options based on what we thought we needed. We ended up going with some up-lighting with our DJ package and strings from Shaw Strings as our ceremony music. Bob’s excellent reviews, familiarity with our venue (Aldie Mansion) and its staff, and our first phone call with him made this booking a no-brainer.

Bob took time to send us a detailed survey and set up a pre-event call the week of the wedding. He spent an hour on the phone with us going over our playlist, our do-no-play list, and the flow of the night. His attention to detail made us feel sure that we had nothing to worry about on the big day. He coordinated the ceremony music with our viola/cello duo from Shaw Strings. I wanted to walk down the aisle to “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane and we wanted “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys for our recessional. To say they nailed it would be an understatement—hearing their rendition of these songs made me cry. I wish I had recorded it!

Our guests are still raving/sending me amazing videos of the epic dance party Bob helped to create. EVERYONE was out of their seats having a great time—from my eight-year-old cousins to grandparents! Book DJ Bob for your wedding—trust me, you will not be disappointed!!!

DJ Bob did a fantastic job for our May wedding. He was very professional from start to finish and went above and beyond what I anticipated from our DJ (for example, during the reception he noticed it was warm and Bob was the first to bring it to our venue's attention so they could get the AC turned up). We had a great conversation while I was getting pricing from multiple vendors and I booked Bob after speaking with him and reading his awesome reviews. He spoke directly with my other vendors in coordinating the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had multiple compliments on the music and everyone was up and dancing the entire time. Bob did a wonderful job with our wedding. Not only was he a professional over the phone, but he was also extremely helpful in assisting us with organizing our reception. Having never been married before, Bob worked with us to help us pick songs that would both match our style and be appropriate for our event (wedding) and venue. He went out of his way to include extras that made our wedding great including uplighting, stayed in constant contact throughout the evening and provided us with CD's after the wedding broken down by event (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Party, Extras). He was always receptive to personal choices with music even playing the specific version of songs we liked. He was kind and accepted add on songs from our guests without argument. We received numerous compliments throughout the evening that every choice he made was "Perfect" and we agree, Bob did a perfect job with everything. Would highly recommend.

I was at the David Tutera Bridal Expo in Philadephia when I had the pleasure of meeting DJ Bob. He was extremely kind and welcoming and was more than helpful in answering any questions I had. After shopping around for different DJ's and wedding bands I kept coming back to my meeting with DJ Bob and realized that he was the man for the job! He couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating during the planning process. He checked in regularly without being over bearing and was super quick to respond to any emails or calls. When the time for our DJ call came, Bob was incredibly thorough and helped my husband and I along the process. He was great in offering suggestions of how to create the timeline for the night but ultimately left the decision up to my husband and I. He also was great with working with "alternative" music selections. My husband picked a hardcore/metalcore style song for his mother/son dance and Bob couldn't have been more happy to play along!
DJ Bob was instrumental in making sure the day of my wedding ran smoothly! He worked hand in hand with my photographer and day of coordinator to make sure everything went off without a hitch. And of course, his music selections had my guests packing the dance floor! I honestly could not have been more happy with DJ Bob! From start to finish, his number 1 priority was to make sure he could do whatever was possible to make sure my husband and I had an amazing wedding. Don't look any further, DJ Bob is your guy!

We had DJ Bob Mills for our wedding in March and he was great to work with. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, along with some lighting in our reception space. The music was great, guests were dancing and he definitely helped create a fun atmosphere. I used DJ Bob Mills to DJ and MC my wedding at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown PA. He came with DJ Ilim, and I also had a Photobooth available. Everything went great. There was a perfect balance of music for dancing and quiet background songs during dinner. Bob was easy to get ahold of, very professional in his work, and price was extremely reasonable compared to others I have spoken with. I would happily use him again, and recommend him without reservation.
