Exceptional Photographer

We had the pleasure of working with Phil on two occasions, first for our mini-mony on June 19, 2020 and second for our reception on October 22, 2021. On both occasions Phil captured the day perfectly and ensured everything ran smoothly. His turn around time for photos is super quick and we have so many favorites we don't know how to narrow them down.

Highly Recommend

Planning a wedding during covid was not the easiest endeavor because we had to hire all of our vendors through phone conversations and email. The first time my husband and I spoke to Phil on the phone we knew immediately that he was perfect for us and we hired him that day. He was so personable and informative during that first conversation. He answered all of our questions and didn't try to upsell us on packages or add-ons we didn't actually need. When we first met at our engagement photo session he immediately made us feel at ease. He was so accommodating with scheduling and even turned our engagement session into a family photo session with our 1 year old daughter. Our wedding day went off without a hitch. He was so well organized that we got all of our first look, formal wedding party and family photos done in less than an hour before the ceremony so we could fully enjoy our cocktail hour with our guests. He was so professional and blended in well with our wedding guests. We still have family members talking about how great he was during the wedding. Phil sent us all of our photos within two weeks of our wedding and they came out even better than we could have ever imagined. He truly made our day more enjoyable and we would highly recommend him to any bride/groom out there looking for an amazing wedding photographer.

Book phil now!

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it was to work with Phil Fox. My husband and I did our engagement shoot and wedding with Phil. Phil was incredibly flexible, kind, and professional. When we had to postpone our wedding for a year, due to covid, Phil was so understanding and he made it so easy for us. We finally had our wedding day this past August, and we were so impressed with Phil (as were our guests). Even before we received the photos back, our guests kept commenting throughout the night and the week after the wedding how amazing our photographer was. They mentioned he was friendly, outgoing, and incredibly professional. We received our photos back ONLY AFTER TWO WEEKS. We were shocked as we know it could have taken months to receive the photos back. During your wedding everything moves so fast it’s hard to keep up. When I went though Phil’s photos, I felt like I was reliving our wedding day. He got every detail, every person, every moment and the photos were absolutely gorgeous. I loved how he picked the best of the best and I wasn’t sifting through thousands of photos. We received about 800, and each are so incredibly unique and beautiful. Our guests have been texting/messaging us non stop because they are so incredibly impressed, as are we!

If you need a wedding photographer, Phil is your man! He planned everything out with us, prior to our wedding day, he listened to our thoughts and concerns and has great advice, and he was so creative in all aspects! You are spending money on your wedding day, and you want it to be on quality services. You won’t get more quality than Phil. Aside from being a great photographer, Phil is a great person and I recommend him 100%!

Top Notch Experience

A plan b pandemic wedding was not what we had always imagined for our big day, it was better! Phil was an outstanding and integral part of what turned out to be a perfect and magical day. Phil Fox is a MUST!!

Wedding pictures was something that was very important to me so i researched and spoke with several photographers and Phil Fox was by far the best! He was the most affordable, his work speaks volumes. I couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out. His responsiveness, attention to detail and thoroughness is next to none. Phil brought a second photographer who was just as good. If pictures are important to you, you MUST go with Phil. You will not be disappointed!!

Phil was an amazing photographer!

Hiring Phil was easily one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning! We did our engagement session with him as well as our mini wedding last weekend. We had originally planned a 250 person wedding and a large photography package, but with COVID we had to reshape our wedding and ended up with about 30 people instead. Phil was super flexible about the whole thing and we were able to come up with a by the hour contract for this year and have also contracted him for our large wedding next year. Throughout the whole process Phil has been professional, super friendly, and open to any suggestions and crazy bride lists of "must have" photos! We just got the photos back from our wedding last week and I love all of them! I want to print them all out :) I can't recommend Phil enough.

We don't have the words to describe how fortunate we feel to have found Phil. Planning a wedding in the midst of a global pandemic wasn't easy, but with Phil's support, flexibility, and talent, our wedding day was perfect - and we have the most beautiful pictures to show for it! He truly went above and beyond to make sure we could have our perfect day. Phil is a phenomenally talented and experienced photographer, and is so adept at going with the flow! One of a Kind Experience

When I look back on our wedding I couldn’t imagine anyone else capturing our special day other than Phil. He exceeded our expectations in every way possible. I was immediately drawn to Phil’s work and style as all of his photos showcase the natural beauty of the landscape and pure happiness from every candid shot. His back and white photos made each moment feel timeless. Most of all what I appreciated throughout the day was Phil’s calming and easy going presence. Talented and easy to work with

Phil's an extremely talented photographer, and he was very easy to work with. We gave him very little instruction, and he just did his thing, floating seamlessly between taking charge for posed photos and blending in for candids we never even realized he was taking. We couldn't be happier with the way they turned out, and the price was more than fair. This might sound weird, haha, but he also has this very calming demeanor that I think helps keep things low-stress on the big day (though ours was pretty casual anyway). All in all, Phil is a cool dude who clearly loves what he does, and it shows in his work. We highly recommend him.

Wonderful Wedding Photographer!

We had Phil photograph our intimate backyard wedding - 60 people at our friends farm house surrounded by conservation land. He captured the day so beautifully! Phil's photographs reflect his ability to play with light and catch each moment. During the whole process, from the first meeting to connecting through email months before our wedding, Phil made us feel at ease. He has a wealth of experience and he's a true professional!

Phil is UNBELIEVABLE- I cannot say enough about him and his work!! He made the process so easy leading up to the wedding. Phil was working with his partner Mike on the day of our wedding at Willowdale. They both were so kind and easy going. We did not do a first look so we had to get our family and couple photos all during cocktail hour - Phil crushed it. We got every photo we wanted and so much more. Not only that but all of our photos were uploaded 2 weeks after the wedding! We have received so many compliments already. I cannot thank Phil & Mike enough. My husband and I met Phil at his home office and we were immediately drawn to his work and his demeanor. We felt comfortable and at ease around him, which is very important when you're taking photos. Phil asked for a list of photos that we wanted and he made sure that he got them all. He moved things right along and kept the wedding party very organized. Everyone at the wedding kept commenting on how nice he was! He doesn't make you feel too posed and he lets you do your own thing with a little instruction here and there to get the right shots. He gets wonderful candid shots as well. He got us our wedding photos back in less than 2 weeks!! The shots are beautiful and we could not be happier. My brother liked him so much that he's going to look into using Phil for his wedding photographer as well!

Phil is wonderful. From the moment we saw his online portfolio, we loved his style and knew that he had to shoot our wedding. When we met Phil for the first time we knew he would be a great fit to shoot our wedding, and he surely did not disappoint! We had a large bridal party of 21 people, and Phil not only was up for the challenge but exceeded our expectations. We also had a unique venue which Phil had never shot before, but he did took the time to visit the area and preview some good spots to shoot. Phil (and his assistant/second shooter Mike!) made us and our entire bridal party comfortable from start to finish, and as a result the photos came out beautiful. The turnaround time was super fast too - we got the photos while we were still on our honeymoon, which was a nice surprise to be able to look through everything! We loved everything about our experience and would highly recommend Phil Fox to anyone!

Phil was wonderful to work with and we are super pleased with the results! We wanted a photographer who took a good mix of candid and posed shots, and we wanted our pictures to show people having fun. We liked Phil's work and had an initial meeting with him in his home office, where he talked about his process and pricing structure and showed us some wedding albums. He also sent us some links to full albums of weddings he shot similar to ours in size/overall vibe.

Neither of us really love getting our picture taken, but at our engagement shoot Phil put us at ease. He had a great eye for locations and scenery in the park where we took our engagement photos. The photos came back about two weeks later and they were great! We looked happy and at ease!

On the day of the wedding, he showed up early to get a feel for the venue. He was great at wrangling family members for portrait photos and was happy to oblige when smaller family groups wanted their pictures taken after dinner. He had some really cool and interesting ideas for our bride and groom portraits after the ceremony. He blended into the background when he needed to - during dinner and the ceremony I didn't notice him taking pictures at all!

We got our photos back a few weeks after the wedding, about a week earlier than he promised them. We loved going through them together and showing them to our families. Phil made us look like the best, happiest versions of ourselves!

Phil has photographed both of our daughters'weddings. The venues were very different. Phil's eye for the perfect backdrops in both weddings was amazing. The photos reflect the uniqueness of each of their weddings and the fun and joy of the day.

Phil is an amazing photographer! He was recommended to us by a family friend and we are so glad we went with him for our wedding photography. Phil was incredibly flexible, he willing switched dates when our first wedding venue was shut down and we needed to find a new venue. He is responsive to email and lets you choose your services individually or in a package. He is very good with getting people to line up for great shots quickly so the party can keep going. He got our photos back to us in just two weeks, sending us back over 500 edited shots. Great value, very personable, and fantastic photographer.

Phil made our entire wedding experience perfect! Starting with with engagement photos and continuing on until after the wedding, he was very accommodating, professional, and all around put our minds at ease. He was very helpful and timely with the planning process and was always going to the spots we were thinking a bit before hand to scope out great areas for us. He had great visions in mind, but also made sure the shots we wanted were taken. Our pictures came out beautiful (for both engagement and wedding), capturing the perfect moments and are very grateful to have these for the rest of our lives. I saw Phil at an open-house at our venue, and his photos immediately drew me in. Phil was not pushy or trying to sell himself, which was nice in the constant barrage of people vying for our attention at that event. Instead, he was professional and let his photos speak for themselves. When the day of our wedding arrived, it was a torrential downpour. The whole week I had been looking at the weather, hoping it would clear up for our wedding day. But despite many glimmers of false hope, the day of the wedding came and it was pouring! I was starting to feel a bit gloomy, thinking about how horrible all the pictures were going to come out, but Phil immediately laid my fears to rest. Despite the rain, he took absolutely incredible pictures inside our venue in addition to some fairytale photos in the rain with incredible lighting and artistic angles. Phil also had a wonderful way of making even my camera-shy husband comfortable! We are so happy with our photos and would recommend Phil to anyone looking for amazing professional photography.

We don't like posed, cutesy wedding pictures, and we weren't even sure we wanted a professional wedding photographer. But we hired Phil and told him to please take a lot of relaxed, simple photos of people at our wedding, mostly candid and a few basic group portraits. He did exactly what we asked. He's got a great eye and he worked hard during the event and he took a ton of great pictures and his professional experience shows. His fees are lower than most other photographers we checked out. He was very responsive and easy to work with and he got us photos after the wedding in a very timely manner. Could not recommend him more highly.

Phil was great to work with!! We are so happy with the images that Phil captured of us! He really captured our day beautifully! We had an engagement session about a year before our wedding too which was a great suggestion on his part as we are both somewhat awkward in front of the camera. Phil is amazing! He was the perfect balance between guiding us to take better pictures or in different spots, and letting us enjoy the day. He was so patient and kind with us and guided us through photos with great suggestions and tips. He was never pushy, never in the way, but always there for help. Would 100% recommend him any time. Phil and his associate were a pleasure to work with. My husband and I got married in Oct 2015, a freezing cold day and we had a tight schedule. Phil had listened to everything that I wanted and even made suggestions day of. I honestly wish I listened to him more and had gotten more photos of me with my girls or with my family, but alas I was stressed and under pressure to get the shots that I wanted. Phil did an amazing job throughout the entire process of our wedding! We first met Phil at an Open House at our venue. He was very friendly and had beautiful albums displaying his work. We really liked his photography style and personality. He wasn't pushy like some other photographers and let his work speak for itself. We did our engagement photos with Phil in February during a snow storm! We hadn't been expecting the amount of snow, but it worked out beautifully. He had no problem being out in the snow with us (I think Phil was even more excited than we were!) During the wedding, he was wonderful. He allowed us to do the shots we wanted, and had some really creative ideas. We absolutely love our photos, and so do our friends and family. We highly recommend Phil Fox!

We got married on July 11, 2015. Phil Fox did an excellent job photographing our wedding, and we highly recommend him. He exhibits all of the qualities one would look for in a wedding photographer. Foremost, he is experienced and professional. He took the time to understand our expectations and desires for the day, and he provided his expertise and suggestions on aspects of wedding photography of which we were unsure. He scouted the venue with us beforehand, had creative ideas for where and how to take the shots we wanted, and even took a few practice photos at different locations. Right away, we got a sense of how easy it is to work with him and how relaxing he can make the otherwise nervous process of taking wedding portraits. Phil and his assistant arrived early on the wedding day and proceeded to check off shot after shot from our list in an efficient and wholly unobtrusive manner. During large family portraits (our wedding had 350 attendees), he deftly corralled and organized groups and got all of the photos we wanted well within the allotted time. At the end of the night, he did not leave until he had confirmed with us that every picture we wanted was completed. The whole time, we felt as if he was enjoying the wedding and taking the different photos, which made the whole experience very pleasant. Finally, the photos we received from him after our wedding (in a timely manner) were simply outstanding. The photo packages he offers are very flexible and reasonable, and we got exactly what we wanted. Through his hard and dedicated work, he preserved beautiful memories of our wedding day that will last us a lifetime. If you hire Phil Fox for your wedding, photography will be the last thing you have to worry about.

Phil Fox was one of the best recommendations I could have received! Having heard so many other brides complain about the photography at their weddings, I was a bit nervous when it came time to choose a photographer for myself. I am thrilled to say Phil’s photography and professionalism exceeded expectations. From the moment I met Phil I knew he would be amazing to work with. He not only met my desire for contemporary photographs, but made sure to also capture more classic photographs to satisfy the needs of my family. Phil maintains a calm and relaxed demeanor at all times, but he is also driven and suggestive in order to take the best photographs. This is a wonderful balance. After visiting Phil's studio and seeing the high quality of his work it was clear he was going to be our photographer. Phil made us feel comfortable by sharing about what he likes to shoot and asking us what we were interested in. I discovered Phil here on WeddingWire... he was the first and last photographer we met with! After stepping into his studio and seeing his work, I knew he was guy for my fiancé and I. We first worked with Phil last year for our engagement photos. Phil's laid back style and incredible eye provided us with gorgeous fall photos, giving us a sneak peak to what we would get on our wedding day that was just a year away. Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of working with Phil, along with his second photographer, again on our big day. From getting ready at my parents, making our way through the church ceremony, to having a blast at the reception, Phil captured every special moment. It was hard to believe how many fantastic shots they took at our ceremony and reception since they was so discreet and accommodating. Working with Phil was a stress-free and enjoyable experience to say the least. Whenever I had a question or concern, he was a phone call or email away. My wedding photos came out so beautiful, I have no idea how I will choose my favorites for an album! Phil was worth every penny spent. I am BEYOND thrilled that Phil Fox was our wedding photographer. Our pictures came out amazing and we received them much quicker than I expected! Phil was super flexible when it started pouring literally a minute before our outdoor ceremony was set to begin, and snapped some great shots that truly document the events of our day. He had great vision for where we should take our portrait photos, and when those locations were no longer an option (due to the rain) he came up with a wonderful back-up plan. He even stood out in the rain with us and got some great shots of me and my husband under an umbrella. We also have some really great candid photos that were completely a surprise to me, because I had no idea that Phil was nearby when they were taken. He has this ability to go completely unnoticed to capture the real emotion of the moments, but somehow was also always these when I wanted him to grab a shot of something. I highly recommend Phil Fox!

After a bad experience with the photographer who did our engagement photos, we went into the search for our wedding photographer a little apprehensive. But we are so happy we decided to go with Phil Fox. What drew us to Phil initially was that his packages included rights to all of our photos, and he wasn't going to hold them captive for a year like other photographers we talked with! After our first meeting, we found that Phil really listened to what we wanted in our wedding photos. Certainly a passionate artist at heart, he understood that this was our big day and wanted to provide us with pictures that fit our vision. On the wedding day itself, we had so much fun taking pictures with him - much more than we ever could have expected. The pictures came out great! Phil captured all the moments we asked him to, and then some! Additionally, he hadn't previously offered the matted albums we hoped for, but went out of his way to provide us with that option. Overall, we found Phil to be very flexible, attentive, and an overall nice guy. He seems to have mastered the art of being easy going and professional. Our experience with Phil Fox was amazing. He was so easy to talk to and plan with. When we told him we wanted to "swing by Fenway Park" on our way to the reception for a few photos, he was totally flexible and game! We had so much fun outside the park and the photos came out great.

At both our ceremony and our reception, Phil was attentive, friendly, and totally unobtrusive. He is a true professional and had the perfect balance between getting the perfect shot and keeping a low profile. We recently got our online photos, and they are absolutely beautiful. We are looking forward to ordering prints and a book to preserve the memory of our day.

Phil Fox is a highly professional photographer. He was responsive with all of our questions and concerns prior to the event, as well as any follow-up required prior to our wedding event.

His prices, for his talents, are highly sought after; for having 2 photographers at our event. Phil and Chris were extremely artistic when you ran out of ideas for pictures. Both took the time to suggest possible shots that would look romantic with the perfect lighting. Even though our event had rain, their ideas ran wild and came out perfect in the end.

After our event, Phil only took 2 weeks to upload our pictures. Having heard horror stories from many of my wife and my friends, this caught us by surprised how efficient he was without sacrificing quality. Being in the military for 14years, efficiency can sometimes sacrifice quality, but not with Phil Fox.

I would not hesitate whatsoever to recommend Phil Fox as a photographer for any event you so chose. Thank you again Phil.

Phil Fox was a huge part in making our wedding day a success! He was early to our event and stayed until he got all of the shots we wanted. He was there to make us happy rather than just go through the motions of another wedding. He was very flexible which made the day less stressful for all of the families and of course me and my bride. Phil asked us what shots we wanted but when we didn't know he stepped right in and made suggestions to keep the day moving along. The pictures turned out wonderful and he posted them very fast! He has some great shots and candid photos from all of our friends and family members during the reception. We also used Phil for engagement photos which turned out perfect as well. There is plenty to worry about leading up to your wedding but you can be sure Phil as your photographer will do a wonderful job! Phil was fantastic. I would gladly use him again or recommend to family and friends. He was a total Pro throughout the entire process and made everything effortless. Prior to the ceremony we breezed through the standard family/wedding party pic in no time and they came out fantastic and then he and his partner blended into the woodwork and took amazing photos of everyone there. My entire family wanted copies of dozens of the photos after and since he gives you a disk with all the high resolution pics it was no problem. I am sure you can find a cheaper photographer but believe me Phil is worth it especially if you have other things to worry about you just tell him what you want and it gets done.

If you want your wedding album to be exactly how you dreamed it, Phil is your man. We had never before been the focus of a professional photographer and had no idea what to expect. Phil was patient and guided us through the process of getting us comfortable in posing for the camera. Once we got going we felt like we had been doing that for a long time. Phil is very creative and made the most of the surrounding elements of the chosen location. Phil is very professional and tries to be as invisible as possible during the reception ceremony. We were surprised with the amount of pictures taken and we did not feel like he was in our face all the time. Phil's talent was further exhibited during the album preparation phase. We went through several reiterations until we reached the desired result. I had an amazing experience with Phil Fox Photography from my first meeting with him through picking out pictures for my album. He was always very professional and on top of his game. A few weeks before the wedding I filled out a survey for him that let him know my "must have" pictures and all the important people I wanted to capture throughout the day. A few days before my wedding he touched base with me to discuss the locations and the time line of the entire day (much appreciated!!) On the day of my wedding Phil and his assistant showed up early and stayed on target with the time points throughout the day.

All of my photographs came out gorgeous, it was hard to pick my favorites for the album! I would highly recommend Phil Fox Photography for anyone's wedding day. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with him and the product he gave us. You are definitely getting more than your money's worth with him :)

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Phil Fox. From the beginning, he was available to work with our travel schedule to make a consultation appointment. Most importantly, he was willing to work with our budget and make a custom package with an album. We truly felt like Phil wanted to photograph our wedding. He responded to emails and phone calls in a timely manner and was always available to help us.

During the planning process, Phil learned about our priorities for the wedding and what we valued most in our pictures. He had a sense for our style and took pictures that illustrated the feel of our gorgeous spring day – very bright, colorful, and beautiful. Phil and his associate, Chris, were with us every step of the way on our wedding day. They both blended well into the wedding and reception, yet Phil was always around my husband and I when we needed him to take a certain shot we wanted. It was the perfect balance! Both photographers were very friendly and flexible. We felt at ease when they were around and the guests felt very comfortable to approach them. All of the memorable moments of the day were captured – including moments that we had only heard about.

We love the wedding portrait and prints that we ordered. He worked with us to make sure that the prints we ordered were going to look their best and helped us order custom sized prints. Selecting the pictures for the album was easy and Phil was very receptive to the changes we requested. Phil Fox was a pleasure to work with and delivered an exceptional product for a reasonable price. As someone who is a photography enthusiast/hobbyist, I found Phil’s photos to be very well composed and tastefully edited. He truly is a talented photographer with a humble knack for capturing the candid “moments.”
Phil was quick to respond and easy to work with. We arranged all the details from overseas over email/skype. Phil then made the time for us to visit and meet in person about a week before the wedding, where we discussed different shooting locations and just general tips for making the day go smoothly. On the day of Phil arrived early and immediately started shooting little details before guests arrived. During the ceremony, which was in a Catholic church, I only noticed him a couple times. He was very unobtrusive. His equipment worked well for the low lighting of the church, mostly non-flash photography, but still sharp. While he was doing portraits, Phil worked very quickly and we were able to get in all the shots we wanted. He has obvious talent and experience in composing under pressure because he seemed to know exactly which spots and positions to direct us to. At the end of the day he even hung around to see if there were any more shots we wanted. After the day was over, many of my relatives, my mother and mother –in-law included, commented on how they thought Phil went above and beyond.
Finally, Phil delivered the photos really quickly! We had the digital proofs just a few days after the wedding and it was a definite treat to see how the day went while we were on our honeymoon. The final digital copies were waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon. We received about 500 photos from Phil, all of which were top notch.
Beware when you’re hunting for a photographer because price does not equal quality. Take it from someone who systematically scoured the entire list of Boston wedding wire photographers, Phil is a great find. Thanks Phil!

Phil was absolutely wonderful for our wedding day. He gave direction to get the best pictures, but also was not too prominent. He was patient with all the family pictures. He was able to get the candid pictures that I was hoping for. He was there right as myself and my bridal party were arriving taking pictures. Once the dancing started he just moved all around getting everything. At the end of the night, he showed us some of the best pictures on his computer (like 4 or 5). It killed me because I wanted to see the rest!! His affordability is wonderful too. He sat down and figured out based on what my needs were. Very reasonable. I can't say enough about him!!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

My husband I are can both be somewhat camera shy so choosing a photographer was a huge decision for our wedding. After meeting with Phil for the first time and seeing his style of photography, we knew he was the photographer for us! He put as at ease on our wedding day and captured the most beautful images of us and our wedding guests that bring us back to the emotions we felt everytime we look at them. We were married on a raining, chilly day in October but Phil assured us that rainy days often produce the best lighting for photography and he definitely didn't disappoint. Him and his assistance Chris were fun to work with but stayed behind the scenes to capture the images we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much, Phil!

Phil and his assistant Bill were INCREDIBLE! From the moment I met him I just knew that he had to shoot our wedding. Phil arrived in the middle of complete chaos and he immeadiately went to work. He worked around my bridesmaids and myself and we didn't even know he was there! My husband and I have rather large families and Phil was able to get all the shot that we wanted in record time. Since we got married down the Cape we wanted to take some pictures on the beach and luckily the weather cooperated. These pictures came out AMAZING! He knew exactly where to place everyone so the light would hit us just so. These are my favorite pictures and I cannot stop looking at them! My bridal party fell in love with Phil and Bill and we didn't want them to leave! I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for a photographer who is not only professional, but also a blast to work with!!

i decided to use Phil Fox due to my fiance's best friend used him and loved him as well. i was beyond happy and impressed with the work he did for my wedding! he was so wonderful to work with and made me feel so relaxed on my big day, which is usually full of chaos! he made sure he got the best shots for us, as i was so nervous about getting great pictures. the weather was awesome so we decided to go down to an old stone church near where i live, Phil had so many ideas on how to take full advantage of the beautiful background and made it seem so easy! i cant wait until i get to see the finished product but im sure i will be blown away! i would recommed Phil to any bride looking for a great photographer with timeless and beautiful work!!

Working with Phil to capture the photographs from our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. I would 100% recommend him to anyone.

Phil is an incredibly talented photographer. He captured everything from our wedding, and the photos are wholesome, totally us, and at the same time artistic. While he took all the posed shots we asked him to, and they are stunning, the candids he took mean so much to us as well. He captured so much joy. Phil is a true professional, takes pride in his work, and is passionate about what he does.

Our planning calls were fun, succinct without leaving anything out, and always left me excited for what was to come. After we'd decided to go with Phil, he made time to meet with me at our venue to check out the space. Phil had no obligation to meet with me there, but he took the time, and we spent over an hour exploring the best places to take the best shots. He was tireless, and went above and beyond.

During our honeymoon, we found an email from Phil in our inbox with all of our proofs. We decided to take a look, popped a bottle of champagne, and looked through each and every one. We laughed and cried. It was a very special evening. When we were done, I sent Phil this note:

"We feel like we just got to see our wedding for the first time. You captured everything-- the joy, the tender moments, the details and the big picture. The photos show the frenetic pace of the evening, and the more mundane moments. Each picture is better than the last. What's more, I couldn't imagine a more calm, relaxed, person to guide us through the day and capture such amazing memories."

Choosing Phil Fox as our wedding photographer one of the best decisions we had made for our wedding...our pictures came out absolutely stunning! He is truly talented. Phil Fox did an amazing job for our wedding. He is incredibly talented, very professional and friendly as well. We had a large traditional wedding in a church followed by an indoor/outdoor reception. The church only allowed him to shoot from the balcony without a flash and the pictures were still amazing. At the reception we were very pleased with the formal pictures, the requested group shots and the countless candid pictures we received. For the formal pictures, I've been in a lot of weddings and never seen a photographer as quick about getting through them while still making sure to get great photos. No endless switching of cameras or searching through bags. Throughout the day Phil never felt intrusive and yet in the end it seemed he had gotten a shot of most every moment. Finally, we appreciated that he was very relaxed to plan with and it was never stressful or a chore to meet with him. We have all our pictures, including the rights to the digital images and the wedding album he put together looks amazing. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Phil!

I had done a lot of research to find a photographer that my husband and I would trust with the most important job for our special day. I am so thrilled that we hired Phil Fox to photograph our wedding day. Our pictures were outstanding and beyond our expectations. My husband and I also had our engagement photos done by Phil. We have the most amazing collection of photos to remember this special time in our lives. Phil was so easy to work with and really cares about his clients. Our family and friends even commented about how nice he is and loved working with him as well. He takes pride in his work and provides individual attention to ensure that you are pleased with everything. He gives great direction when taking photos so that every shot is a masterpiece. He enhances the photos and shoots from all different angles to show a variety of styles that make for an exciting and beautiful collection of photos. It's 4 months after our wedding and we still can't get enough of looking at our photos and album. We love Phil!

Phil was my absolute favorite vendor out of everyone we hired for our wedding. Phil really paid attention to my husband and I when we talked about what we wanted, he just really “got it” and was able to capture the theme / style perfectly. The only downside was trying to pick from the hundreds of great photos! I highly recommend Phil – professional, very flexible, attentive, not intrusive at all during ceremony / reception – and you will have some great, great, pictures.

We loved having Phil as the photographer for our wedding in September 2011. He is truely an artistic photographer. Phil was great to work with. He listened to all of my ideas and my "wish list" for what photos were important to me and he got everyone one of them on the wedding day. Phil and his assistant were helpful during the wedding day and happy to accommodate my husband and I if there was an extra picture that we wanted. I am very please with my finished album and I'm grateful to Phil for allowing me to view drafts of the album and give my input as to the final layout. Overall, I would recommend Phil Fox Photography for your big day!

Phil Fox was the best decision my wife and I made hands down when it came to selecting our photographer. From the very start of the process he made himself available multiple times before our big day to sit and go through what we wanted and expected from him for our wedding. The pictures were absolutely amazing and so glad we went with Phil for our day. I have nothing to say but book Phil if you can and don't think twice about it!!

Planning a wedding is stressful, and choosing a photographer is probably the most stressful detail of all - you are choosing the person that is capturing the "once in a lifetime" moments, that's a lot of pressure for you and the photographer. Phil puts all your stresses at ease. His professionalism and visions are above and beyond, and you won't have to worry about the photographs if Phil is there. Phil came highly recommended to me by my cousins and close friends, and Phil Fox is the only photographer I will ever recommend!

My husband and I felt very comfortable working with Phil. He was very easy to work with and put all of our worries to rest. We knew that the photography aspect of our wedding was taken care of and didn't have to worry how the pictures came out.
During the ceremony we didn't even notice he was there, and he took amazing pictures. He made sure that we got all of the shots we wanted while guests enjoyed cocktail hour, and the best part was that we weren't rushed during pictures, but he made sure we stuck to the schedule we had previously decided on.
We received the proofs promptly after we were married, and all of the pictures were gorgeous. Phil will work closely with you to create the album you want - he was very patient with us even when we changed our minds a few times.
When the time comes to need a photographer for another event I will go straight to Phil.
My sister loved our pictures so much that she decided to hire Phil for her wedding as well!

A friend had recommended Phil Fox photography after using him for her wedding. Her pictures came out so beautiful I knew I had to use him too! Phil was very easy to work with and very helpful in the planning stages. The pictures Phil took are so beautiful. There are a variety of pictures that he took which I really appreciated. I had given him a list before the wedding of formal pictures I'd like and he got them all in a short period of time so our wedding party and families could enjoy cocktail hour. I felt like I didn't have to stress about anything because he knew what I wanted and made sure I was happy with the variety of pictures. Because we got married in November, I wanted my Christmas cards to show our wedding photos and Phil was nice enough to give me the cd with all my pictures the day we got home from our honeymoon. Our album is absolutely beautiful. Phil spent a lot of time with me via email and in person to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I really feel that Phil captured my wedding exactly how I envisioned it. I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding.

One of the best choices of our wedding planning. We can't say enough good things about Phil. We worked with him for an engagement portrait session last Fall and for our wedding this past May. He does a great mix of standards, candids and artsy shots. His work is fantastic, all our friends and family are still raving about what great pictures we got. Phil is very professional, responsive and easy to work with. On the day of the event, Phil and his assistant Bill, were everywhere we needed them to be getting great shots, but at the same time staying out of everyone's way. They were a pleasure to work with. The turnaround time on getting the photos online was also fantastic. They even showed us a quick little preview during the final hour of the wedding so we could see some of the great work the night of the event.

My husband and I truly enjoyed working with Phil on our wedding day! I was impressed by his personal attention to detail even proir to the wedding day, when he made a long drive to meet me at the wedding site. We scouted areas of the estate that would provide beautiful backgrounds for our portraits and this preparedness helped us to move through the busy day itself seamlessly! Phil and his assistant had a relaxed & non-invasive approach to the very impressive task of capturing not only the big moments of the day, but also the more intimate interactions. Phil was also able to embrace a spontaneous creative opportunity when the dreaded raindrops began to fall, threatening our outdoor photographs. He borrowed a large umbrella from the valet and asked my husband and I to take a short walk. The resulting 'umbrella pictures' as our family and friends fondly refer to them, are just breathtaking. The true beauty of all of the photos is that they convey not only the faces and scenes of our wedding, but somehow the atmosphere and 'story' of our most magical day. Thank you!

I can not express how happy my husband and I are with our wedding photo's. He did such a great job with making sure he got the pictures that I wanted he was very receptive to any ideas I had and I also loved how creative he was with certain shots as well. You can just tell that he really enjoyed his job and making the couple happy by getting those "framer" shots.

He was also very prompt with getting our photos back after the wedding and he did a wonderful job with them! I feel that photography is one of the most important parts of the wedding and I could not be any happier with the photographer that I picked for mine.

Phil was awesome. His prices were so reasonable compared to the other photographers we met with and I ended up with almost 700 absolutely beautiful pictures. In fact they were so good, I couldn't narrow them down for my proof album, so I ended up getting almost all of them. He was so professional the day of the wedding too. My soon to be sister-in-law booked him that day for her wedding. Everyone was very impressed with him and his work. We were so happy we chose him and I would recommend him to everyone I know. Phil was incredible. I loved the look of the pictures on his website and he did not disappoint. Everyone has commented on how great the pictures came out and we even got to see some before the night was over! He was wonderful to work with - so calm and relaxed.
