Working with Felix was an absolutely wonderful experience from the very beginning. I reached out to him more than a year before my wedding, and throughout the entire time I worked with him, he was responsive, helpful, and overall just a sweet and gracious vendor. When I first signed the contract, I wasn't sure what I was doing and what I should select as add-ons, and he was more than willing to jump on a call with me and my fiance to go through all the options. AND, even just a few weeks before the wedding, he was still flexible enough to change a few things that my wedding planner had recommended for me. I was definitely not the most organized bride, but Felix didn't even bat an eyelash when I had to give him last minute information about songs for the ceremony and reception (even though he had already been awesome enough to remind me several times that the song list "CLOSED" two weeks before the wedding). Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a nicer and more fitting DJ for our wedding. He understood the vibe we were going for, and he really outperformed himself. Multiple people complimented all of our party music after the wedding, and everyone had the best time thanks to DJ Pheniks! I would 10/10 recommend him to anyone, for ANY event because he just really knows how to work with people to accomplish THEIR goals for the event. Pheniks was super responsive, easy to work with and provides great value for his services. We only booked the video message booth with him. I just wish more of our guests would've used it to leave us messages. Pheniks has lots of services you can book, not only this type of booth. Amazing from start to end!
Félix and his team were incredible. Day of the wedding and I didn’t have a dance floor (my fault) and Felix got one to me in 55 mins with installation and all. So thankful for this team! Our night was perfect from the music to the light to the aisle! Thank you!

DJ Pheonix and DJ Ralphy were an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From being super responsive, to constantly checking in on us, they never missed an opportunity to make sure we had 100% of what we needed. We did the ceremony, reception, Hora Loca and cloud effect through them and it went off without a hitch. I went to a wedding the very next day and it really showed me the value of having people as committed as them. Everything was flawless and I would choose them every time!

Worth the money
Of all your vendors, your DJ can make or break the whole vibe of your wedding. Just like the soundtrack of a movie shapes the intensity of each movie scene, the soundtrack to your wedding will shape the memories of that night. Felix had our dance floor packed the whole night. My new husband was out of breath from dancing. He said “Every time I tried to sit down Felix would play another banger!” We provided a playlist but gave Felix creative freedom. During our meeting, we gave him an idea of how we wanted the night to flow. He did not disappoint. We wanted 90s R&B for dinner service. The songs he chose were perfect. At one point, everyone was singing along to the music.
Sito our MC was friendly and engaging. He kept the energy up and party going. Pretty sure I caught him singing along with us!!
We rented their white dance floor and cold sparklers for the reception. The first dance felt like a dream. Our night was perfect and a huge part of that was Felix and his team!!

I don’t have enough good words to say about DJ Pheniks!!! He had incredible communication and patience from the day we hired him all the way to the wedding day itself. He was so kind to us and all of our vendors and guests. He made sure we heard every song we wanted to hear, but also had the most incredible ability to read the room and play what songs the guests were loving. Our dance floor was filled the ENTIRE reception. Guests even came up to me and said they have never seen a dance floor filled all night long. Dj Pheniks kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night through! DJ Felix did an incredible job at our wedding! We were very meticulous about what DJ we wanted to use, as we wanted to ensure our dance floor stayed packed! Since the beginning, Felix made the planning process incredibly organized, allowing us to personalize everything effortlessly on an app. A few weeks before the wedding he connected us to our DJ (DJ McKnight) who took the time in reviewing our choices and gave us some great suggestions as well. On the big day, he did an excellent job of incorporating most of our playlist while still reading the crowd and tailoring the music to the crowd’s vibe. Everyone was on the dance floor from the start to the end of the night, it was such a blast! Our friends and family talked for days about the amazing time they had and how much they danced.

The lasers made our wedding!
DJ Pheniks was everything you would want in a DJ–professional, had excellent quality equipment, knew how to perform, and could work a crowd! DJ Phenikz knocked it out of the park!!! and when I said knocked it out of the park, that is an understatement. It was a pleasure to have DJ Phenikz as part of our big day! When My husband & I began wedding planning we were so worried given that his entire family speaks English and my entire speak little to no English but Felix assured us that will not be an issue. He was not lying and made everything possible. From the MC announcing everything in both languages to playing great music in Spanish and English. I had a very special request for My mother-son dance as I wanted to showcase my roots and my culture by dancing Bachata midway into our dance and DJ Phenikz not only agreed to it but made it special with special effects. We just had our wedding this past Saturday at The Palms Hotel & Spa and it was a roaring success! A huge part of that was due to Pheniks Sound & Lights Plus. They made selecting our music for the evening a breeze, through their App you can clearly label what songs to play and when. What I loved about their services is that you can choose how much you want to stick to your playlist or let the professionals add songs of their own. You can also mix and match what you need—For a wedding of 120, we selected their 1st package option and then added extra lights and a photo booth. The lights were used to light up our first dance in front of the gazebo outside, I was worried that even with the lights it would be too dark but it was everything I had dreamed of. The photo booth added that extra element of flair toward the end of the night when you needed a break from the dance floor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the flow of the evening, thanks to our MC Henry who ushered the folks from space to space with his silky voice. Every step along the way the we’re communicative, easy to work with, professional and fun! We are so grateful we chose them for our special day

Amazing DJ
Felix from Pheniks Sound and lighting was the DJ for our wedding at Secret Garden. There isn’t a single thing I would have had Felix do differently for our celebration. All of our guests continue to provide rave reviews and tell us our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to, and we wish we could do it all over again. Felix played a huge role in making our wedding the perfect celebration as the DJ/MC and by curating a playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night, including some of our older relatives that haven’t been on a dance floor in decades!
It was clear from our first phone call with Felix that he has a passion for his craft. Throughout the entire process he was very professional and utilized an app to keep everything we wanted organized. We didn’t have very many specifics regarding the reception music, so we just gave him some loose guidelines and a lot of flexibility. He blew away our expectations! He also worked very well with the band that we had and made some accommodations to to ensure the entire music was seamless between DJ and band. Thank you for making our wedding amazing.

Of all our wedding vendors, Felix was our absolute favorite vendor to work with, hands down! Every time I called, Felix greeted me with such positivity and light. It was so refreshing. An app is provided to make Wedding song selections a breeze. We went for Latin and West Indian/Caribbean vibes and Felix and Josh delivered! Our guests and I did not stop dancing all night. Felix was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was very kind in answering all of our questions and was always very quick to respond. He did an excellent job of playing songs that kept our guests on the dance floor until the very last song! We opted to add the cold sparklers for the ceremony and reception, up-lighting and the dancing on clouds effect, and we were so impressed. There were audible oohs and ahs when the dry ice machine started up, perfectly on cue with our first dance song. The CO2 guns were super fun, too! Everything was executed perfectly, the timing was spot on and thanks to Felix and our wonderful emcee and the details that Felix puts into his work, many of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Would definitely recommend!!

DJ Pheniks (Felix) was a true professional. He was easy to book, communicated via email or text from the moment we messaged him, and absolutely crushed it on the big night. He has a great app to pick your songs (everything from the entrances to the first dance to open dancing) that also comes with a timeline for the entire day. Also a big shoutout to his MC, Manny, who was extremely professional, courteous, and put in the extra work to make sure all his announcements were perfect. Felix showed up early, and even helped out with setup when we needed an extra hand, thank you for everything!

My BEST vendor for my Wedding!
Felix was my easiest and favorite vendor to work with ! From the very beginning he was extremely responsive, I think throughout my whole planning process he never even took more then 24 hours to respond to me it was always within the same day; i don't know how he does that. Also we did a projection logo and he tested the logo out days before gave us his opinion and allowed us to make multiple changes to the logo. On the actual day of the wedding (the most important part) he was AMAZING! We literally did not stop dancing for one second. We choose lots of Reggaeton and electric music and how he managed to mix the 2 so smoothly, im telling you genius ! Just trust me you will not regret choosing Felix im super picky and I cant tell you not even one flaw not even one improvement he could have made !

Pheniks practically had the entire timeline ready for me and all I had to do was fill in the blanks. From the moment we decided to use Pheniks Sound, he put us into contact with our DJ Ralph. Communication was easy despite all the changes that needed to occur due to COVID. He answered all our questions and they even have an application on your phone that you can access to add the music you want! They even helped me choose uplighting that I didn’t think I needed. And it made all the difference in the world!

Working with DJ Pheniks & his team was one of the best decisions we could have ever made for our wedding day! I told the team that I wanted my reception to feel like I was at a night club and that is exactly what I got! So many people were telling us how much they loved the music and the vibe that DJ Pheniks & team provided - not only from our own guests, but other people staying at the hotel that were overhearing and peeking in on the wedding. His team was also super flexible with some Arabic music that was requested last minute - they were able to play everything we requested and did a great job saying no to things on my "do not play" list so that I didn't have to be the bad guy!
The overall process of booking and preparing for the wedding with DJ Pheniks Sound & Lighting Plus was incredibly simple. They used an app that asked us all the questions we needed to know and all the songs we wanted played. I never once had to take time out of my busy schedule to worry about DJ Pheniks because the team was already so on top of everything! Highly recommend!

When you think about a DJ you mainly think party music but DJs play such an important role in a wedding. From the ceremony music, cocktail hour, dinner music, and of course the party, DJ Pheniks did an amazing job. Felix and his team are the best! Hire them and you won’t be sorry!
I was recommended to Felix by a mutual friend, who he also dj’ed at her wedding. She raved about him and we decided to hire him and his team. Felix also had a lot of cool extras like cold sparklers and an LED dance floor to add to our services and was really flexible as far as packaging and allowed us to pay him in small installments in a timely manner. Then COVID happened and we had to postpone our wedding, he was very sympathetic, flexible and responsive throughout the entire process. Then (it gets better lol) our original venue The Mayfair hotel in Coconut Grove cancelled our wedding reception 5 weeks before our wedding, which left us scrambling for a new venue, we notified Felix and he was so accommodating and kind. We secured the Colonnade hotel which has a beautiful marble floor but we had to be extra careful with it and the LED dance floor, Felix agreed to make it happen and would take extra care. As far as choosing music for the event Felix gave us access to a super cool and user friendly app to upload music and even how to introduce us and our bridal party. Honestly Felix made everything always really easy for us which I am so grateful for! Finally our big day arrived and Felix and his team made our cocktail hour and reception so much fun! We danced the night away, and the cold sparklers with the LED dance floor gave our reception such a nice touch! Trust me, if you decide to hire Felix and his team you’ll be in great hands and you’ll be happy you did, we definitely are! Ty Felix and team!

I'll start by saying that for me, the most important aspect of my wedding was the party, so I did my due diligence on DJ's in Miami. I went with DJ Pheniks because I appreciated his professionalism, attention to detail, and his responsiveness. I appreciated that he used an app (Vibo) to organize all of the music for our wedding, which made it easy to share what type of music we wanted as well as what music we wanted for each event at our wedding. He also gave us great song suggestions for our entrance songs. He was super organized and sent email reminders for when music had to be in and when payments needed to be made. He was kind and patient in answering all of our questions.
One more thing I want to mention is the versatility of the DJ we had to play music across the Latin and Black diaspora. We got everything we wanted and more - Bachata, Salsa, Latin Pop, Motwon, R&B, old school rap, etc. We LOVED it! Also, the DJ was really great at energizing and reading the crowd. I would hire DJ Pheniks again and again!
