I’ve always followed Marylin’s work on social media, and when it came time to plan my wedding, I knew there was no one else I wanted for my flowers. As I had dreamed, every arrangement was absolutely gorgeous. The flowers were fresh and beautiful, and you can truly see how much care and effort Marylin and her team put into every detail. She has the perfect balance of bringing your vision to life while adding her own elegant touch. CANT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH! -

Marilyn & her team are absolutely spectacular. They provided me with the most lovely bouquets and centerpieces. Our venue provided reception florals, but we needed a florist for the bridal party florals and ceremony decor. Checked out a few local vendors online, but after speaking with Marilyn, I knew she was the perfect one for us! She was extremely friendly and easy to talk to and had worked with our venue (Longan's Place) for many years. She made the entire process super smooth and stress free. I provided a lot of inspiration photos and knew more of what I didn't want more than what I wanted. Marilyn took all of our conversations and my photos and put together pieces that were far more beautiful than I could have imagined! We received SOOOOO many compliments from our guests on the florals, I even sent my bouquet off the day after our wedding to be preserved. I cannot recommend Marilyn enough as a wedding florist. She is professional, friendly, a wonderful communicator and an expert at her craft. Truly made our wedding extra special! -

I must have compared at least 15 florists before I met Marilyn Muiña, the woman behind Petals with Poise. When I reached out to her, I had given up hope that anyone would be able to bring my wedding vision to life here in Miami (an enchanted forest meets dark academia concept). I shared this with her and without missing a beat, Marilyn said “No wedding is the same, but we do this kind of thing all the time.” I didn’t need to give her much direction. Within minutes, she had created a sample tablescape using the unique pieces in her highly curated, vintage collection. It was like she had read my mind.
Marilyn just GETS it. Most florists will put together basic, cookie-cutter arrangements and centerpieces, but Marilyn is NOT like most florists. She does not put you in a box and she has incredible range and impeccable taste. She’ll respect your vision, but she’s not afraid to share her opinion and advise you so that your event is elegant and beautiful, which is refreshing.
Aside from sharing my whimsical Pinterest board and general moodboard with Marilyn, I didn’t have to do much. She respected my budget, kept me informed throughout, and was flexible when I had changes here and there. When I arrived at my wedding, I was blown away. I had high expectations, but she surpassed them a million times over. It was magical. She is a creative genius.

I would definitely work with Marilyn again and would recommend her to anyone in need of florals, whether for a wedding, baby shower, corporate event, or anything in between. -

Gorgeous Flowers
Marilyn is exceptional at what she does. She helped me decorate the rehearsal dinner space. I gave her my vision and she made it happen. I provided her with some props, and she did all of the flowers and arranged it all. Then, for the ceremony we took care of everything with her, telling her the bride’s vision, and she created the most beautiful arrangements for the ceremony space and sweetheart table area of the reception. She also added some items to all of the tables in the main dining area. The bridal party and brides bouquets were beautiful and so were the boutonnieres for the groom, and the groomsmen and fathers. She is flexible and willing to accommodate and help in anyway possible. She is also very good at responding to correspondence and phone calls. Very highly recommend. -

Marilyn and her husband are seriously the best. Marilyn was so helpful not just with floral but with all the details of the wedding. She’s creative, artistic and honestly made my wedding absolutely STUNNING. she thought of every detail and then some. She brought the wedding together in a way I could have never imagined. Amazing work
Marilyn was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. We met with several florists prior to making a decision and the moment we met with Marilyn we knew she was the one for us. She brings peace and grace with her , along with incredible knowledge. She is exceptionally creative, organized, and dependable. She worked well within our budget and provided us with many ideas to help bring our vision to life. She was easily accesible and communicated with us throughout the entire process. Easy & Amazing Vendor!
Petals with Poise were suggested by our venue, Longan’s Place for all our floral needs. Marilyn was wonderful to work with and understood what we wanted. We met with her and went through exactly what we wanted. The flowers looked beautiful on wedding day and I’m currently preserving them now to keep them forever! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a florist in Miami! Petals with Poise made it easy! -

My husband and I got married in South Miami a few weeks ago and we were referred to Marilyn by a family friend. Once I took a look at her website, I knew that her artistic style matched the vision for my wedding flowers perfectly. After speaking with Marilyn once, I was sold. She went through each bouquet that was ordered in meticulous detail and is so personable and kind. She did my bridal bouquets, bridesmaids bouquets, AMAZINGGG mother of the groom and mother of the bride bouquet, flower girl bouquet, and boutonnieres for all of the guys in the wedding party. In the end, we were able to repurpose our bouquets (her idea) throughout the venue for our wedding reception :). She is such a lovely person and I highly recommend her for any of your floral needs!! -

Amazing Vendor She Made The Day Wonderful!

Amazing & seamless
Without Marilyn I don't think our wedding would have been as gorgeous as it was! She definitely was AMAZING! She provided us with such an informative consultation for our centerpieces, bridal bouquets, and boutonnières. I didn't really bring any pictures, but as I explained my vision to Marilyn she was able to sketch and show me how it would work out. When I walked into our reception and saw all the arrangements my jaw dropped. Not only did Marilyn deliver on her promise, but she went above and beyond! The centerpieces were exactly what I envisioned and she also included small details during cocktail hour and our reception that just blew everyone away! I definitely recommend her services! She was affordable and the ease of the transaction was just seamless! Not only is she a florist, but she also plans events so she has the eye to help you put together an wedding of your dreams! After meeting with Marilyn I knew that everything would be just perfect, she is a sweetheart, very creative and absolutely great at what she does. Jody Sent on 04/21/2017Marilyn has a really unique style and a beautiful way of making your wedding classy and fabulous. She listens well and adds her own creative ideas here and there. She's got a lot of different pieces and accents to chose from that go with all kinds of wedding themes. On the wedding day she is there with a very professional team setting up. She will be the one pinning your groomsmen and making sure every detail is exactly as you'd like. She even does a great job improvising when you have last minute changes. She's really a joy to work with and an honest, good person. I highly recommend working with Petals with Poise if you want a personal unique experience. You can also rent really cool wooden pieces, furniture, etc from her sister company Artifactum Initiative. we used the birch altar and the wine barrels to create a special rustic feel. I'm so happy we chose this company over a larger florist that does 20 events a weekend. -
