Wonderful Experience with Petal's Edge

I cannot recommend Petal's Edge enough. Gerry was amazing to work with. As I am sure most know, getting married in 2020 was not an easy task. My wedding plans went through three completely different iterations.

Initially, for my "plan A" I was not even considering hiring a florist, but my mom insisted. After searching a bit on Wedding Wire, I came across Petal's Edge.

Petal's Edge turned out to my favorite vendor. Gerry was amazingly responsive and flexible. She helped make our "plan C" wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

I am so grateful for Gerry's responsiveness and steady hand during all of my planning and re-planning. We were so happy with the end result!

Amazing elopement flowers!

Petal’s Edge delivered absolutely stunning flowers for our elopement! Gerry worked with me to create a gorgeous bouquet, boutonniere and table centerpiece that matched the vision and style from my Pinterest board perfectly. We had a sunrise elopement, so she delivered the flowers to our hotel the night before. I appreciate that she gave us great tips on how to keep them looking fresh for the next day. In a world where many DMV-area florists won’t get out of bed for less than a full-service wedding, I am grateful to Gerry and the Petal’s Edge team for making beautiful floral arrangements accessible for couples who choose to elope. Thank you again for making our special day so colorful and bright!

Amazing florals and day of wedding coordination

We were so lucky that we found Petal's Edge. Gorgeous flowers and we hired Gerry for her super talented day of wedding coordination. Planning a wedding is hard but Petal's Edge made it easy. Beyond super beautiful florals that really elevated our day and made it special, it was such a huge help that any time I was stuck in the planning process, Gerry answered any question I had. Her professionalism and capabilities are simply unmatched. She knows everything about venues, vendors and more inside and out. Meetings to see your floral designs are super smooth. Petal's Edge will write your contract super fast and easily helped us amend it. The day of the wedding couldn't have been more perfect. It was so easy and fun. Petal's Edge set everything up perfectly and make sure it ran smoothly. The florals were so beautiful!! I loved all of the details, from a stunning bridal bouquet, posies for moms and grandmas, framing the posters with eucalyptus, to gorgeous multicolored petals down the aisle. Our guests were so comfortable and well taken care of the whole night. Petal's Edge really took the rustic/classic vision I had in mind and made it a gorgeous reality.

We love Gerry & Petal's Edge!

Gerry translated my very vague ideas for wedding flowers into a total masterpiece. She was also very understanding and flexible when we ended up having a discrepancy in the table count just a couple days before the wedding. Her creations were absolutely beautiful and very unique and creative, and the rest of her team was excellent during set up and break down. I had the best experience working with Petal's Edge and can't recommend them enough!

Beautiful Wedding Flowers

Petal’s Edge did a beautiful job with the flowers for our wedding day! We came into the planning process not really knowing what we wanted, but they took our minimal ideas and ran with it to create stunning arrangements for the tables, bouquets, and chuppah. They also helped us re-purpose some of the table arrangements to decorate the ceremony, which really created a special, magical vibe. We also really appreciated that they donated the flowers at the end of the evening. Thanks, Petal’s Edge, for helping set the scene for such a beautiful day!

Incredible Talent, Responsiveness and Care! Cannot recommend enough!

Petal's Edge was, in one word, INCREDIBLE for my spring DC wedding! Gerry worked closely with me to create a design that was absolutely gorgeous and spent considerable time on the phone walking me through possible design ideas, flowers, and where we could reuse flowers. She was very flexible and responsive via email. I really appreciated that Gerry tried to keep our budget in mind and suggested cost saving strategies throughout the entire process. I felt like I could really trust her expertise and was confident the arrangements would be beautiful going into the day. When the day came, I was completely floored with how gorgeous my bouquet and all of the arrangements were!! She truly brought my vision to life where I asked for specific things and also used her amazing artistic talent to bring together amazing flower combinations. I also did not have a wedding planner (but did have a day-of coordinator) and she was really wonderful to work with directly and super responsive. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you Gerry and Petal's Edge!

Beautiful Florals with Eloquent Design

Gerry and her team at Petal's Edge put on a display so elegant that I was completely blown away! Gerry was so thoughtful throughout the whole process given lots of changes with covid-she was flexible, transparent about what flowers may be available, and worked with us to still capture our vision. Overall we were so happy with the amazing florals-from the chuppah, bouquets, table settings and various details throughout the wedding venue. Highly recommend!

Loved my flowers!

I loved working with Lissa and the Petal’s Edge team! Everything was great. They really listened to what I wanted for my bridal bouquet and made my vision come to life. The wedding arch, bridesmaids’ bouquet, boutonnieres, and flower cuffs were all great. The communication in the months and weeks leading up to the event was prompt and delivery on the day of was timely with no issues. Overall, they were one of our favorite wedding vendors!

Best florist in the DMV area!

Gerry was a pleasure to work with. I wanted a chinoiserie themed wedding and Gerry immediately understood my vision once I showed her a few inspiration pictures. Gerry provided her professional input on the floral arrangements to ensure that the flowers were timeless and elegant, which I greatly appreciated. Gerry also respected my budget and provided suggestions on how to say close to my budget.

I had postponed my wedding twice due to Covid, and Gerry remained extremely professional and flexible throughout the whole process. There were some minor last-minute changes during the weeks leading up to the wedding, and Gerry was very understanding.

The flower arrangements were stunning and even prettier than I imagined! Our guests thought the flowers were beautiful and some even took the flowers home! I highly recommend Petal’s Edge!

Perfect Vision, Perfect Vendor

Petal's Edge was the first vendor we hired for our wedding and we are SO glad we did. Gerry (the owner) seamlessly moved venues and dates with us. Throughout the whole process Gerry was incredibly responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. My husband and I are not exactly creative, but Gerry got our vision immediately and turned our venue into something we could have never imagined in our wildest dreams. Made my day incredible!

Cannot rave enough about Gerry and her team at Petal's Edge. From the very moment I emailed her an initial inquiry, asking if she had my date free, Gerry was incredibly responsive, helpful, insightful and informed. She educated me a lot (a rather indecisive bride!) during our initial consultation, and we really thoroughly discussed my vision and ideal style. Booked her within hours of that conversation, and loved every moment of working with her. Their pricing is reasonable (I spent more on flowers than any other element, aside from venue), and I feel I got every penny's worth! I loved being able to modify my flowers (design, coloring, amount, etc) right up until about two weeks ahead of the big day --- including entirely modifying my bridal bouquet! Gerry and team created the most unique ombre rose bouquet I've ever seen - so in love. I had 100% confidence in their work, set up, call times and pricing. She is transparent, and again - incredibly responsive. It's actually her responding too, from her iPhone, wherever she is in the world! You never get some generic, template response from Petal's Edge - just high quality, educated, engaged and passionate care! Thanks again, Gerry and team - you made my day incredible.

Very pleased with my experience

I began my experience with an in-person consultation. I brought with me photo clippings of the venue (although Gerry already was familiar with it), the table cloth (picture as well as color/description), and the planned wardrobe. (My wedding was on a four month time line so I was fairly well prepared.) However, I came to my meeting with virtually no ideas around the flowers themselves, except perhaps that I thought I knew I wanted low table arrangements and a friend had encouraged me to consider that guests like to take the centerpieces (so I wanted to try and avoid rental containers).
I felt like Gerry steered me towards sensible choices and did not try to point me to buy more than I needed. She explained when to use low versus high arrangements and other factors in the overarching specification. She expressed that low table arrangements would work well with my venue. She had a lot of immediate, specific ideas about flowers and greenery and showed me photos of the components then and there. Essentially, I relied on Gerry's expertise to recommend and develop a proposal for my wedding that I really liked.
The flower arrangements she designed and delivered for our wedding were stunningly beautiful and seemingly perfectly matched to our wedding visions. The flowers were a perfect complement to our venue, color palette. and wardrobe choices (e.g., the incorporation of black centered white anemone to evoke the black trim on the white groom jacket). I received many compliments on the flowers and had many happy guests.

Beautiful Flowers!

Gerry was so great to work with! Flowers were honestly among the most stressful things to choose! I met with several florists who made me so stressed out about the high cost of flowers and I was really worried that we were not going to be able to find a florist who could work within our price point.

I met with Gerry and she immediately made me feel at ease, assuring me that our budget would allow for beautiful flower arrangements and helping me to select arrangements that maximized our budget. After I left our meeting, I knew that I could trust Gerry to make beautiful arrangements and I didn't really think about the flowers at all until the wedding day!

Her flowers were exactly what we were looking for and did not disappoint!

Petal's edge was a godsend!

Wow - I would choose Petals' Edge Design a million times over.

Gerry was beyond exceptional to work with. I initially called Gerry as soon as I got engaged to set up an appointment and was nervous about the florals as I'm not a design expert and didn't want to spend $10K on a wedding planner to put together a design scheme.

Gerry took me off the ledge by reassuring me that I didn't need a "design scheme" and that our wedding venue (Top of the Town) needs very minimal decor as the venue has floor to ceiling windows and is the decor in it of itself.

I appreciated Gerry more than she'll ever know when we had that initial conversation. It was the thing I worried about most - not having a designer's eye and wanting the vent to look "cohesive'.

When I met Gerry in person, it reinforced what I already knew. I wanted to work with her!

One of her many talents is being able to translate all of my buzz words: "classic", "chic", "elegant", "pop of color", "bridal", "sophisticated" into flowers and color palettes.

Gerry's proposal was flawlessly put together. She took all of my abstract concepts and put them together meticulously well.

Another thing that I appreciated immensely, was Gerry being amenable to my budget and not upselling/cross-selling at any point. At no point was she making me feel insecure for not having something.

She reminded me that a decade ago, people got married without wedding planners, and without an extravagant wedding budgets, and everything turned out just fine. When I asked her if I would be "remiss not to having something". She said that, "I don't *need* to have anything, but if I *want* to have it, she's happy to add. Her voice of reason was so calming and reassuring. A true professional.

I would re-hire Gerry and her team in an instant for any even. She's my wedding designer floral angel.

Great flowers

Gerry delivered a great set of arrangements that perfectly matched our vision and the space. Picking the perfect flowers was easy with Petal's Edge!

Gerry was marvelous to work with! We scheduled an in-person meeting to go through all details of our vision for the day. She was very responsive to our ideas, but threw out helpful suggestions regarding price points and potential substitutions. I only brought in photo inspiration for the bridal bouquet and relayed every other idea verbally, but when I reviewed the contract proposal, it was so incredibly detailed and captured what we were looking for perfectly! From the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, to groomsmen boutonnieres, to the three proposed table designs, everything was spot on and we received so many compliments from our guests! Happy to recommend Petal's Edge to anyone!

Gorgeous bouquet for small wedding

We selected Petal's Edge as our florist after seeing Gerry's work at a friend's big budget wedding. We were so pleased that she could accommodate our small budget, intimate wedding. We met with Gerry just once, described what we wanted, and picked up a bouquet and corsages on the day of the wedding. Very easy, great communication, and most importantly, the bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, exceeding expectations.

Gerry and Petal's Edge are Great!

We worked with Gerry at Petal's Edge for our wedding and are so pleased with the experience. I do not know anything about flowers and live in London, so Gerry was able to work with the pictures I sent her and understand the atmosphere I wanted to create. She also worked within my budget, providing great recommendations on what we could do within it and what may be less important. Gerry also provided candles for an elegant tablescape. With very little input from me, Gerry understood what I wanted and made everything look perfect on the day!

Thrilled with our flowers!

We are beyond thrilled that we ended up working with Petal's Edge. We went into our first conversation with Gerry with ideas of what we DIDN'T want, but fewer ideas of what we did want. Gerry pulled together colors and textures from our vague ideas like a magician, and we were so happy with how everything looked on the wedding day. We were also upfront about our budget, and Gerry gave us "tiered" recommendations that would fit the budget and go slightly over which was very helpful in the decision making process. She was very responsive and professional. We would absolutely recommend Petals' Edge to anyone!

Awesome florist!

We had a great experience using Petal's Edge for our wedding flowers. We had about a dozen small centerpieces, three bouquets, and an arrangement for the arch. Gerry was incredibly easy to deal with. We didn't have time for a consultation, so we just sent her pictures of what we had in mind, and she did an incredible job! She was easy to communicate with and the end result was even better than what we had in mind.

Great Florist for Wedding

Gerry was absolutely great to work with. Even though I had the initial consultation with Rebecca, who is no longer with the company, Gerry seamlessly picked up right where she left off. I showed her photos of what I wanted based on their previous work and everything turned out great! When I met with her about requesting additional flowers, she suggested reusing the MOH bouquet and chair poises for those areas, which definitely saved me money!

She even delivered to three separate locations (for an additional fee, which I thought was worth it) on time and made sure to call beforehand. When she delivered my personal flowers she also helped add some photos of my deceased father to the bouquet. She transferred the florals from the ceremony site to the reception site, which again saved on purchasing additional floral arrangements, and set everything up in time before my guests arrived.

My only recommendation would be to make sure you send her a follow up email after meeting in person. I met with her at the end of July and thought everything was confirmed, but as I didn’t follow up in writing it wasn’t final. She accepted the few changes even though we were less than a month away from the wedding, which I was very grateful for!

I would definitely use her services again!

Petals edge was exceedingly helpful. We wanted an unusually rustic look to pair with our colonial museum setting lanterns, but I’d chosen the least accommodating color for flowers in nature. Blue. Petals edge came up with dashing thistle dominant arrangements that complimented the blue and silver yet still went well our lanterns and even managed to provide decoration for our cake (we chose semi-naked cake style explicitly for incorporating the flowers!).

We could not be more pleased with how the arrangements turned out and in particular the pairing of silvered green-gray leaf/flowers with blue-purple hued thistle!! They did a wonderful job!!

Rebecca and the Petal's Edge team did a great job on our special day. Rebecca gave great advice on our floral arrangements and got us to try some things that I would have never thought of on my own! For example, she let me know when my Pinterest photos showed arrangements that would wilt by the end of the night, but suggested some wonderful substitutions that looked even better than the photos. The arrangements looked (and smelled) wonderful and they stayed fresh for at least a week (1 of them for 10 days!!) after the wedding. She made sure that everything was delivered and arranged right on time and even helped with some last minute touches like wrapping our flowers with special items, and adjusting the bridesmaid bouquets to make sure that looked perfect before the ceremony (after hours of pictures).

We also added a coordination package and I think that hiring Rebecca as our month-of coordinator was one of the best wedding decisions that I made in the planning process. One month out, I handed all of my contracts over to her and she confirmed all of our vendors, saving me hours of work and worries. She also put together an extremely detailed timeline to make sure that we had everything we wanted on our wedding day and plenty of time to enjoy it. There were so many things that I wouldn't have even thought of!

Rebecca also gave some great advice about where to spend our time and money on the wedding day! She helped me decide which decor would have the most bang for the buck and helped me and my husband balance our time on the wedding day so that we could have a great time with our guests while also getting a few moments to relax between events.

Rebecca was calm and confident as she balanced all sorts of requests from our vendors, the mother and father of the bride, and me and my husband. We had such a wonderful time because she flawlessly took care of so many details!

Petals Edge was a joy to work with as they were professional, punctual, and imaginative. I was able to walk in with an idea of what I wanted, and they took it above and beyond what I had ever imagined. The service is excellent and prompt. I had a quote within 45 minutes of my appointment. The price was also the most reasonable I had received from any floral vendor, and the quality was phenomenal!

Gerry went beyond our imagination in creating all the beautiful flower arrangements for my daughter's wedding. The "bride" was very very particular on type of flowers and color and at first disappointed that some of her favorite flowers were not in season. In the end, Gerry was wonderful to work with and really understood what she was looking for. People are still talking about the gorgeous centerpieces at the venue and the bouquets of the bride and bridesmaid. I would highly recommend this vendor.

Working with Petal's Edge was the easiest decision we made for our wedding. From our first meeting with Rebecca, we knew we were in very good hands. In minutes Rebecca was able grasp our vague vision and create a much more comprehensive theme. We were clear about our budget and she was honest about what we could achieve in that and how we could save money by choices of flowers etc. Her itemized proposal was perfect to see where we can cut back or splurge. After we finalized the contract, we had nothing to worry about and did not need to communicate or check in apart from filling out a simple delivery form. At the reception, the flowers were gorgeous and exactly what we had discussed. We highly recommend Petal's Edge- they are very professional and creative.

I absolutely loved my flowers from Petal's Edge. I know very little about flowers so when I met with Rebecca I just showed her pictures of flowers and bouquets that I liked. She took it from there! She was also very honest about what would/would not be needed for the ceremony space, and working with me being cost-conscious. A few days before the wedding when I met with my day-of coordinator, she was asking about the timing of the reception hall set-up and I was worried it wouldn't all work timing-wise. I called Rebecca and she reassured me that they would take care of it and that I shouldn't worry, which I very much appreciated. I couldn't have been happier with how the bouquets and centerpieces looked. We also got cherry blossom stems in wrought iron stands (they have) - which were gorgeous! Definitely recommend Petal's Edge.

Rebecca and staff provided all the wedding fowlers for the November rehearsal dinner and wedding of my daughter, but also the rehearsal dinner centerpieces for my son's rehearsal dinner on March 18, 2016. She was creative with the different venues (steak house, Hotel Monaco, Altitude Room at the W), she made us feel like she enjoyed coming up with three very different "looks" for us. Her pricing was competitive, particularly because she steered us to in season flowers - very much appreciated. We relied on her to come up with the designs after listening carefully to us, and she did not disappoint. All were delivered to each event in a timely fashion. Would absolutely recommend her and use Petal's Edge again.

Petal's Edge was our florist and also provided wedding coordination services. Rebecca Henry was a godsend on the day of, and I am SO glad I decided to work with her. You know how you kinda just get a good feeling about people when you meet them? I had a good feeling about Petal's Edge even before we met with Rebecca - I love their website, their design/brand, their flowers. Then, we met with Rebecca and explained what we were trying to do - work within a budget, have a coordinator handle some DIY centerpiece and other display items set-up as well as transportation logistics on the day of, and just generally keep things running smoothly on the big day (so I didn't have to be a nervous wreck dealing with all of the minutae!). I had complete confidence in Rebecca. She was attentive to the tiniest of details, and she worked with our photographer to coordinate the logistics of our first look (and a complicated tight timeline may I just say, with moving from the First Look location, to the church, to the reception site!). She came to the rescue NUMEROUS times with her magic box (chocolate on the groom's tux before even making his way down the aisle! Egad!). And let's talk flowers for a minute - the bouquets were stunningly gorgeous (classic and beautiful and just how I hoped they would look), we had an altar arrangement as well as a couple of table arrangements... Nothing but compliments on the flowers. I would give Petal's Edge a perfect 10 if I could. And the price was an incredible value. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. You will not regret working with Petal's Edge, and they will make your day both beautiful and stress-free! :)

I loved working with Rebecca! I literally had everything I envisioned when I saw my flowers! From the ceremony flowers, the table centerpieces at our reception and the flowers added on our cake! It was just all so amazing and our friends and family loved it all too! I wholeheartedly recommend them for your wedding, party or anything! Pricing was reasonable too! We are so happy that Petal's Edge was our florist for our wedding. It started with our initial meeting with Gerry -- not only did she help us define this lofty idea we had floating around in our heads, she provided exceptional and creative ideas to augment our own. We had a very specific flower in mind, not realizing that it wouldn't be in season. She found us the perfect alternative, allowing us to have beautiful arrangements without sacrificing our concept. As our wedding day approached, Gerry kept us updated and continued to include us in making sure her creations were perfect for our wedding. We made each centerpiece a unique design, so that we couldn't see the exact design of each centerpiece (and how they would look collectively) until our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, we were stunned at the completed arrangement -- and the table centerpieces were works of art! At the end of the night, every one of our table centerpieces was taken (luckily my sister saved us one) -- a testament to how beautifully they were designed, and all of Gerry's hard work.

Gerry was also our day-of-wedding coordinator. Gerry went above and beyond to make sure that everyone (bakery, event site, photographer, and especially our wedding party) knew exactly where they should be and when (and then she makes sure they do it). Our wedding took place at three different venues at the National Harbor, including a reception on a yacht -- Gerry's expertise and professionalism were essential to keeping our wedding on-time and smooth. She's the perfect coordinator, resolving issues before you even know they occurred.

We worked with Gerry for our wedding this past January. She was so incredibly sweet, going above and beyond consistently throughout the process, from meeting with us in the evening initially to promptly responding to every question we had throughout the process. When ever anything was unclear, she tried to find photos that would illustrate the concepts. The prices were very fair (not cheap, but mid-range), and we felt we got an exceptional value overall in product and service. The flowers were stunning and even more beautiful that we could have imagined. High recommend!!

Petal's Edge did a fantastic job on our wedding flowers. Flower novices, we gave Petal's Edge creative license and couldn't have been happier with the results. Our flowers arrived to the bridal suite and to the venue on time and the bouquets held together wonderfully throughout the day. They gave us great value, even recommending against flowers at our church which, in their experience, would have been unnecessary (gold star for a super trustworthy wedding vendors!). We used Petals Edge for our personal flowers and the reception flowers for our wedding. All of their work that I'd seen was beautiful, so shortly after meeting with Rebecca at their Old Town location we were convinced we wanted Petal's Edge to handle the flowers for our wedding. Despite my lack of vision, they charged forward with the limited information I gave them - and everything turned out great! I really felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing after booking. Everything arrived on time and was set up just as we discussed.

My mother-in-law also contacted them (on pretty short notice) for flowers for our rehearsal dinner and they turned around beautiful arrangements for that event as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the area.

My wedding bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful I've ever seen. I went into Petal's Edge with some basic colors in mind and a few pictures of bouquets that were similar to what I had in mind. Gerry talked me through my color scheme, showed me a bunch of flower options and I left it to her from there. My flowers turned out exactly as I envisioned them to be. They were stunning and definitely had everyone talking about them. I couldn't be happier. Gerry was very responsive and easy to work with. The flowers were much more reasonable priced than many other places I looked as well. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Petal's Edge was amazing! We worked with Rebecca for both our reception and ceremony sites, and the flowers turned out beautifully! The altar arrangements were very large, and the bouquets were beautifully arranged. In addition to providing the flowers, Petal's Edge also set up our personalized centerpieces and other decorations we had for the reception site for us, which was a great relief! They also came back at the end of the night and packed all these items up so that we didn't have to worry about that either. We had some painted bottles we provided them to use, which ended up having issues at the last minute because the paint was coming off. Rebecca was quick to find us other solutions and bottles she could get from her providers to resolve the problem timely. Overall a great experience!

Gerry from Petals Edge arranged all the flowers for my wedding this past weekend. The flowers were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! She worked with me on picking out all the flowers long before my wedding date and remembered me and our conversation later on. She is very knowledgeable of flowers and how they will look and how to get the most out of them (especially on a very hot day!). Everyone was complimenting the flowers. We went with really light, garden flowers. These flowers were straight out of pintrest. In fact, once my photographer is done editing all the pictures, they're going straight to pintrest! What really stole the show was the massive flower crown that Gerry and her assistant made for me. I had burlap all over my wedding and she even added burlap roses in my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets. I had mason jars as my centerpieces on my tables and she set everything up the day of the wedding so that I had nothing to worry about. There is literally nothing bad I could say about the business these ladies do. Gerry worked with me to stay inside my budget. Flowers are obviously not cheap and it looked like I paid much more than I really did. My wedding was so beautiful and I know it was because of the beautiful flowers and the hard work and effort put in by these wonderful people. I am so greatful!

I love Petal's Edge! Rebecca did an absolutely amazing job with everything. I went into our first meeting really knowing nothing about what I wanted except for fluffy white and pink flowers. I don't really know much about flowers except that I like them. She was super patient with my lack of flower knowledge, showed me countless photos that I sorted between like and don't-like, made some wonderful recommendations about what sort of arrangements to use at our venue, stayed within the budget I provided, and executed beautifully. Rebecca was able to perfectly execute my dream flowers without me being able to communicate them.

We also used Rebecca's services as a day-of-coordinator. My husband and I agree that this was by far the best decision we made. We're both former event coordinators, so it was important to us to have a day-of-coordinator who we trusted and was organized so that we could enjoy the day without having to worry about details and logistics. We also wanted someone that we could pick-up the coordination from where we left off to perfect execute our vision. Knowing my personality, my biggest fear of my wedding day was that I wouldn't be able to enjoy it because I would be too worried about everything flowing like it was supposed to. Rebecca and her team allowed me to stay so far away from that scenario so I could enjoy the day as much as possible. Rebecca and her team also ensured that we were well taken care of. I think we're the only couple we know that left our wedding stuffed and properly hydrated :).

I would highly recommend Petal's Edge to anyone and hope that I can host another event soon simply so I can work with them.

We used Petals Edge for the floral arrangements for our wedding and were very happy with everything they provided. We worked with Rebecca on creating our bouquets and centerpieces and she was beyond helpful in taking our ideas on colors and flower types we liked and creating beautiful bouquets that everyone loved. We went in with very little idea on what we wanted, just a few images and what they created exceeded our expectations (and the pintrest images I showed them). On the day of the wedding, they delivered and set up all the arrangements around our venue, and not one flower was wilted or damaged. We chose to buy some of the halfpint and full pint mason jars, and reused the bridesmaids’ bouquets as table center pieces by putting the flowers in the mason jars, and then used them at brunch the next day. The flowers stayed fresh and full for several days afterwards as well, brightening up our apartment.

Petal's Edge did a fantastic job with the flowers for our wedding. Gerry really took the time to help understand what we wanted and executed it perfectly. Even though I want clear myself on what I wanted. She was very respectful of our budget and met it perfectly while still making our wedding look so rich and full. We received so many compliments on how unique yet classic our flowers looked.

Even looking at DC weddings online I always found the unique cute flowers I loved at those weddings were always done by petals edge. They came recommended by our venue, our photographer and our wedding planner all independently having positive experiences with them. So we weren't disappointed when we received fantastic service and attention to detail.

The other vendors we shopped around with gave us sub-par flowers for a higher price and tried to talk us out of our own vision. But Gerry at petals edge was happy to accommodate our ideas. So happy we went with her

Gerry was incredible. I didn't really know what I was looking for going in and that first meeting she really helped me figure out what I wanted by talking through the photos I brought. I left better able to visualize and vocalize the look I wanted for my wedding. The flowers day of were gorgeous, totally perfect. Gerry really impressed me with her prompt communication - every email had an immediate response, which made her so easy to work with. I highly recommend Petal's Edge. We worked with Rebecca to design flowers for our event (bridal bouquet, bouts/corsages, flowers and fabric to adorn the golfcart, three large dressings for the arch, small bunches of flowers for the ceremony chairs, flowers for the cocktail hour tables, and a large display for the place card table).

The flowers were beautiful (we selected a mix of roses, picasso calla lillies, fresia, and hydrangea) and they held up incredibly well.

Last minute changes to the contract/add ons (we added the golfcart decor and changed around the numbers of bouts/corsages) were a simple task. We would recommend the company.

I worked with Rebecca planning the floral arrangements for our wedding, and they turned out perfect. I found them at the bridal show at the Monaco and a close friend of mine had worked with them previous and gave a great recommendation.

I showed up to the first meeting after I had called to inquire about their availability. She asked if I had some images of my vision for each piece - and welcomed looking at my Pinterest board... From there gave me some great suggestions on containers to use (we ended up with galvanized metal vases, copper pails, and these huge glass urns with wrought iron stands-gorgeous!!).

On the day of it was so exciting to see their work in the space. I may be the only bride to look at the floral we had within the ceremony as I was walking but what we planned was even better in person. I was amazed. And then focused on my husband waiting for me... :)

The bouquet for me and my MOH were perfect, only complaint is that my husband hugged too many people so his boutonniere didn't last very long.. Recommendation for anyone ordering to get the guy a backup just in case so it stays sharp for the pictures. Not Petals Edge's fault at all- just a suggestion for future brides.

Rebecca at Petal’s Edge was incredible!! We had a few ideas for flowers, but really didn't know much going in. We met with her and just from our brief description, she knew exactly what we wanted and had some amazing suggestions. As I was getting ready on our wedding day, our wedding coordinator said to me, “wait until you see the bouquets”. She was so right! All the flowers were GORGEOUS. I noticed that several guests even posted pictures on social media of the table arrangements. We highly recommend.

Petals edge did my flowers for my wedding in Old Town Alexandria and I could not be happier. Geri was so easy to work with and the flower combinations she put together were beautiful. A month before the wedding I changed my bridal bouquet and she was very flexible in fact it was gorgeous and I got many comments on them!

There are not words for how stunning my wedding was, and it was all thanks to the vision of Petal's Edge. Working with Gerry was fun, easy, and comforting - I never once worried that there were miscommunications. She took my "idea boards" and made them into something even I couldn't have imagined. Petals Edge is a great florist for brides like me who didn't have an idea of what I wanted. They have such an extensive portfolio, that after 45 minutes in their office they helped me come up with an entire plan for the wedding based on my favorite flower, my family heritage, and my favorite color (not to mention my extremely tight budget).

We organized everything, implemented the contract, and moved forward immediately, taking a huge item off of my to-do list rather quickly.

Halfway through the wedding planning process (2 weeks out), I came up with several crazy ideas additional flowers. I emailed it to the florist, and she was able to implement immediately for very little cost. no muss, no fuss.

They have a lot of customers, and I'm sure deal with a lot of scatterbrained brides (like myself). The florist I worked with - Gerry - should be commended on her level of patience, responsiveness to customers, and attention to detail. The flowers were amazing and received lots of compliments.

I was referred to Petals Edge by my MOH, and have since referred them to several future brides. The price is right and the flowers are gorgeous. They take care of everything, so the bride has to think of nothing.

Petals Edge provided fantastic flowers for our wedding (March 2014). I did not have a precise idea of what types of flowers I wanted, just inclinations about colors and sizes. Rebecca was very flexible throughout and provided very good (i.e. useful and honest) recommendations. My bouquet was gorgeous, much bigger than I expected and suited my frame very well. The table arrangements beautifully lifted the room. My witnesses loved their wrist corsages and the boutonnières looked great.

What I liked the most was the combination of the flowers that rebecca picked and the freshness of these flowers. I am extremely pleased with the service provided by Petals Edge and would use them for any other event.

Petal’s Edge did such a wonderful job with our wedding; I can’t begin to describe how happy we were with our flowers. In the beginning, I wasn’t sure what would be needed to create the look I wanted, but thankfully, I had Gerry there to help guide me through the process. Even though I couldn’t articulate very clearly or expertly what I was looking for, Gerry was able to very quickly figure out my vision. When we received the proposal—reviewing the flowers and descriptions Gerry had provided—it was clear to us that she completely understood what we were going for. In the end, our flowers turned out beautifully.

While other florists seemed to want to cut corners with the flowers they proposed for us, Petal’s Edge provided everything that we’d asked for and more. We received many compliments for our flowers, and even throughout the busy-ness of the wedding day, I still found my eyes drifting toward my bouquet and centerpieces and admiring how gorgeous they looked. The flowers really completed the look and feel of our wedding day.

Throughout our wedding planning process, Gerry was always very responsive, and whenever I needed guidance, she was able to provide her honest and expert opinion. We really appreciated all her help and were thrilled with our experience with Petal’s Edge.

Our wedding was in March 2013. We had an idea of the color scheme that we wanted for the floral items but was unsure of the ideal flowers for the color scheme and the size bouquet. During a meeting with Gerry, where we conveyed our color scheme, she made suggestions for the flowers and took care of the rest. The bouquet and other flowers were beautiful and exactly what we were envisioning. Also, Petals Edge was extremely professional and handled the delivery to the proper location seamlessly. With knowing very little about flowers, Gerry was able to create bouquets of flowers that had me speechless. I could not be more happy with how every table setting and arrangement came out. Amazing experience. I had seen their work multiple times and scheduled a consultation prepared to spend big bucks for their beautiful work. I am so happy I went with Petal's Edge. I worked with Rebecca. I planned my wedding from out of state so I had to find all of my vendors through online wedding sites (I decided not to get a planner initially). I arranged a meeting about 6 months before the wedding and came with a word document filled with Pinterest pictures of bouquets and centerpieces I found online. Rebecca patiently listened as I explained my vision for the flowers at our initial meeting. It went through several modifications by the time the wedding came around because I had to scale back a bit due to my budget but Rebecca was quite flexible. She made many helpful suggestions on flower colors and types. I found the most perfect wedding bouquet on Pinterest and even though some of the flowers were not in season, she was able to put together a bouquet that was almost identical. I LOVED my bouquet. it was super heavy so my wrist started hurting after hours of taking pics.. but it was totally worth it. We had a morning ceremony and an evening reception with pictures in between. My husband's boutonniere got a bit wilted after the ceremony and pictures because we wore heavy robes in Orthodox tradition that totally crushed his rose followed by a few hours of taking pictures in DC - not PE's fault. Everyone else's boutonnieres/bouquets were fine. Rebecca was able to quickly make him a replacement boutonniere before the reception, fresh and new. For my wedding cake I had a design in mind for a cascade of white to pink ombre roses on my 5 tier wedding cake. It was a combination of three designs I found again on Pinterest, and then hand drew with specific instructions which PE and my cake company (Alexandria Pastry shop) worked together to excellently execute. It was the most photographed item at our wedding and it took my breath away. I also got many compliments on my centerpieces (they arranged it in ceramic urns they let me use for the night). I highly recommend them!!

PERFECT FLOWERS. Amazing! Many guests said they were the best they had ever seen and I couldn't agree more. Gerry worked with our budget and was extremely flexible and accomodating, and really gracious especially when we had some mid course shifts- I dont know much about flowers and this was the one item my fiance decided he wanted to be really involved in (though he doesnt know much about flowers eithers). Gerry and her team worked with us and our preferences and created arrangements that were truly BREATHTAKING. I cant wait to get the photos back to keep looking at them! I would recommend Petal's Edge to anyone- super responsive, high quality, excellent experience.

Also, and this just goes to what nice people they are- the day after my wedding my sister's cat ate part of her bouquet- some flowers are toxic to cats and she called Gerry in a bit of a panic, on a non-work day. Gerry went above and beyond to get back to her and let he rknow what flowers had been included! Kitty turned out ok, but my sister was super impressed by this level of humanity and responsiveness after the wedding was over.

OMG...these flower designers are absolutely head and shoulders above everyone else! Their designs are unique and imaginative without being overpriced! Flowers are an expensive part of any event, but the designers at Petals Edge create such lovely pieces and are conservative with their pricing. They also pay so much attention to detail and go the extra yard to make the event ambiance just perfect! They are great to work with and have so many creative ideas that no one else has used or thought of! You will be treated like their premiere client! I have used them for a large wedding reception as well as a large Xmas party in our home...they are the best!

I was introduced to Gerry of Petal’s Edge at Hotel Monaco’s Wedding open house. My photographer, Stephen, introduced us. Gerry was so warm and friendly, and seemed like someone I would want to work with - the arrangements she had made for the open house were beautiful and she was very knowledgeable! I set up a meeting for the following week where Gerry and I discussed the vision I had for the flowers at the wedding, what I specifically needed, and price point. I had been slightly overwhelmed by all the research I had done prior to meeting with Gerry, and she did a great job of putting me at ease, answering all my questions, and being a straight shooter. She was very honest about what flowers would work and what wouldn’t work for an August wedding. During the months leading up to the wedding I had many email exchanges with Gerry, whether it was a question or a change to our original discussions, every time Gerry responded in a very timely manner and always had an answer or a suggestion to whatever I needed. The day of, the flowers were amazing! I was very pleased with the final product and it was clear that Gerry had taken the time to listen to everything I wanted and then executed the vision beautifully! Petal’s Edge is a wonderful small business and I couldn’t be happier with the flowers I had on my wedding day! Thank you Gerry and the staff of Petal’s Edge! Everything was absolutely perfect and exactly as I pictured it would be based on all of my discussions. Working with Rebecca at Petal's Edge was wonderful. They were recommended by our venue, the Lorien Hotel, and it was great because they knew the types of flowers and arrangements that worked with the modern yet minimalist decor of the hotel. I don't have a large knowledge of flowers, so I pretty much told her the colors I was looking for, the type of wedding, and she came up with the most beautiful bouquets and table arrangements. My bouquet was even more beautiful than the descriptions Rebecca wrote up for us. Delivery on the day of was easy, prompt and quick. They set up our ceremony on a balcony suite and the downstairs was beautiful when I finally got to see it. They took all the vases at the end without me even knowing. They did such a wonderful job, we couldn't have been happier!

Of the florists we met with, she was the one that actually took what I shared with her about the day (ceremony location, dress, colors, etc.) and listened to my likes/wishes and created a vision. I loved working with Gerry from Petal's Edge. I think flowers are beautiful but I know nothing about them. I met with Gerry and told her what I wanted my wedding to be like and what colors I liked and based on that she designed gorgeous arrangements that I would never come up with on my own. I also found her prices extremely reasonable.

On the day of the wedding the flowers showed up to our getting ready location and were, no surprise, beautiful! However, I noticed that the broaches I had dropped off and asked them to put on ribbon my bouquet were not there. After one phone call a representative was there within 30 minutes, a good 1.5 before the ceremony to fix the problem. I was very impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism I received working with Petal's Edge.

Everything Petal's Edge did for my wedding from the chair posies, to the Chuppah, to the boutineers, were top quality and absolutely lovely. I highly recommend Petal's Edge to other brides.

Gerry Rogers delivered an impressive and beautiful assortment of flowers, boutonnieres, wrist corsages, tables arrangements and flower petals for our wedding. Her initial consultation really impressed us with her vision. From just having a brief session to discuss ideas, she turned a few color and concept ideas into a proposal so immaculate in such a short amount of time we knew she was the one. Everything came out more beautiful than what we had ever envisioned. We had so many compliments on her designs and knew that it was all worth it. The flowers completely transformed the space and gave us exactly the pop of color we needed to make the space scream "us" on our big day. We were so thankful to find a gay-friendly venue because we did travel from Georgia to get married in D.C. Gerry was highly recommended to us by both our venue and DJ and now we know why. Plus, working remotely was no issue whatsoever, and I could not believe how quickly I got replies to my emails, even in the middle of the night. Her dedication to her craft is clear, and her commitment to getting everything executed beautifully organized made our day so much more incredible. We enjoyed everything so much and cannot thank Gerry and her team enough!

Petal's Edge really was the perfect choice for our wedding celebration in September. Having met with another florist who did not understand my vision I was some what nervous about signing a contract without seeing anything from Petal's Edge other than pictures on the web...

Thankfully there really was no need to be nervous at all! Gerry completely understood my vision and the flowers she produced for our wedding day were absolutely incredible. Everything was perfect including the last minute edition of a flower-filled suitcase!

Petal's Edge provided me with the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements on my wedding day! We worked with Gerry and she was so great. She was very flexible and I am very indecisive so I changed the original proposal a couple of times and she had no problem making the changes. A month before my wedding wihen I provided her with the swatch of my bridesmaids dresses she told me she was worried the colors that we had picked for the bouquets were going to clash so she changed the flowers in the proposal and asked me to take a look..I was worried the bouqets were going to look too red but she assured me they would be the right color purple and on the wedding day they abolsutely were. My flowers were even better and more beautiful than I could have imagined. I would recommend Petal's Edge to any bride!

Rebecca's attention to detail can't be beat. I wasn't sure what I wanted out of flowers and she was able to capture my vision successfully. She provided many ideas and truly tried to understand the overall feel of the wedding. The flowers were beautiful and exactly as planned. She even called 2 days before the wedding to make sure that the blush tone in the roses in my bouquet was okay because I had told her to avoid pink! Couldn't be happier with this choice!

We worked with Gerry from Petal's Edge for our reception and personal flowers. The results were absolutely beautiful. At the start of planning, we only had a very general idea of what we wanted, but Gerry provided specific suggestions and helpful guidance. She's extremely responsive and had a proposal for us within two days. She also was great at accommodating changes throughout the weeks before the wedding (before the contract deadline). In addition, Gerry provided a sample arrangement at our tasting AND we were able to reuse some centerpieces for a brunch the following day. I'd highly recommend working with Petal's Edge!

Petal's Edge did a beautiful job with our ceremony and reception flowers. Rebecca was fantastic to work with! Rebecca was able to take my vision of my wedding and create floral designs that were stunning. When the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets were delivered, my mom and I were like, "Wow, these are absolutely gorgeous!" I used a combination of succulents and live flowers.

Petal's Edge was one of the florists recommended to us by our wedding venue and they were so right. Gerry was the consummate professional -- from the initial discussions, to our meeting and through the estimating process and final deliverables -- she was very responsive to our needs, questions, etc. and just seemed to "get" what we wanted right away. I appreciated that there was no upselling -- just very helpful in understanding what we wanted and our budget. The flowers were exquisite (and the centerpieces and bridesmaids bouquets are still here in my home looking fabulous days after the wedding). I appreciated that Gerry was onsite with the flowers early so there was no worrying about timing. The color, the elegance -- the flowers were everything we dreamed, and more. When we had questions and asked for advice, I felt they really took the time to provide a thoughtful response based on their expertise. I have two more daughters, and would absolutely ask Petal's Edge to do the flowers for future weddings and events in our family.

WOW!!! What a remarkable florist!! Not only were they reasonably priced, but their flowers were GORGEOUS! There was a chance of rain on my wedding day and they made sure to wait as long as they could before setting up florals for my ceremony which was supposed to be oustide. I was so impressed with the patience and professionalism. I would HIGHLY recommend using them!!! I am so glad a friend of mine had told me about them.
