Having Kristen as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions that we made. We knew that she would be a great fit as soon as we met her for our engagement shoot. She made us feel completely at ease with her calming demeanor. During the days leading up to the wedding, she provides very clear communication so that we were all on the same page. I could not recommend her more! Thank you Kristen for being part of our big day! -

Kristen was an angel to work with, from start to finish. I appreciated her scheduled call upon inquiry. She was so sweet and so invested in mine and my husband's story. Her intentions were aligned with mine- the best part about the wedding day, more than anything else is the celebration of marriage- which made her a perfect fit for us. We valued simplicity, integrity, compassion, and trust in our selected vendors. Kristen went above and beyond and surpassed our expectations. Days before our wedding she e-mailed me to let me know she was keeping an eye on the forecast and shared that she would come prepared with umbrellas and a positive attitude, regardless of what the day brought. Well, it rained on our wedding day and I am happy to share that I barely even noticed because of all the sunshine Kristen brought to us. She arrived to our venue well before I did and was first to greet me at the door. She managed to capture the most beautiful photos. Looking back on our gallery we couldn't even tell that it had rained that day! She was ready to get wet and take photos outside with us. Immediately following our intimate ceremony the rain briefly let up and she was ready to go outside and get the photos we were hoping for! She also came prepared to follow COVID-19 protocol, ensuring that she wore her mask throughout the entire process, maintained social distancing guidelines, and ensured our personal comfort with the situation. Sweet, precise, humorous, and super empathetic- all words I would use to describe Kristen. Her photography services are unmatched and I would highly recommend her to anyone searching for the best photographer in the area!
Thank you Kristen for making our wedding day so magical!

We are OVER THE MOON with how well Kristen captured the joy and happiness of our special wedding day as well as the natural beauty of our location. We were even more pleased how easy she was to work with. She has a kind and calming demeanor, which brought a sense of peace to me on my wedding day (and likely made for even BETTER photos). She truly went above and beyond for me as a COVID bride. Even with our ever-changing schedule & last minute re-booking, Kristen did everything she could to make things work because it is very clear how much she loves her job & cares about her clients. We will surely be working with her for years to come to capture all of our family's major moments. -

There will never be enough 5 star ratings I could give Kristen with Petal & Glass Photography. We cannot say enough good things and we are so so grateful for having her for our wedding. Our original wedding date got changed due to Covid and we had to switch things around last minute. I reached out to Kristen through mutual friends and she was available to do our very small ceremony on our original wedding date. She was SO friendly, easy to work with, and made us feel so comfortable for only meeting her once and her shooting our "mini wedding". We knew that we had to have her on our rescheduled date. Flash forward to April 2021 and she was able to recreate some of the most amazing moments and photos that Christian and I will cherish forever. Do not settle when looking for your photographer. I highly recommend Kristen to everyone looking! She has a beautiful vision and is able to get such great shots. She is so quick, efficient, and so down to earth. We can never thank her enough for everything she did for us! Christian and I are so in love with ALL of our wedding photos & fully have Kristen to thank :) During our wedding day, it was mentioned multiple times that we had a "dream team" line up of vendors and I couldn't have said it better myself.

Hiring Kristen is the best decision for your wedding!
If you are getting married in Philadelphia or South Jersey, you NEED to hire Petal & Glass Photography! I've worked with Kristen on a few photoshoots before and knew she would be an amazing wedding photographer, and she proved me right! She is one of the sweetest people I've ever known, she she shines as a wedding photographer. Kristen is calm, collected, and organized, but she can be commanding when she needs to be (like trying to organize my giant family for pictures and making sure they all had their eyes open). She also makes you feel comfortable being photographed if you feel like you're awkward in front of the camera, and she makes sure the poses are varied and flattering.
Not only is Kristen awesome at sticking to the schedule and making sure she's serving your vision for your wedding, her pictures are GORGEOUS! I am beyond happy with how they turned out, and I'm having trouble just picking a few to print and hang up! All of the pictures came out beautifully, even though they were shot in a dark church, the bright summer sun, and a dark reception hall with spotlights. Kristen is a very talented photographer and editor, and she knows what she's doing behind the camera.
Hiring her was the best decision I made for my wedding! (After saying yes to the proposal, of course) Hire Kristen if you want a stress-free wedding day that is photographed beautifully! :) -

Kristen was so easy to work with. She was helpful in posing us so we didn't look awkward and kept the mood light so we didn't feel uncomfortable. She took so many photos during the wedding and reception without anyone even realizing she was there. She was never in the way or distracting from what was happening. Her photos captured the deep emotions of the day. -

Jes Sent on 11/15/2017Kristen, owner of Petal & Glass Photography did a great job with our photos for our wedding day. She has a great sense of design & style which resonated with my own, and I felt like we were a good match and she would be able to convey authenticity in our wedding photos, which is what I wanted. Most wedding photos look so conventional and over processed, and that is not really what I was going for. Kristen was easy to work with, she was not overbearing, and it did not feel like anyone was taking photos at all--except she actually was there, taking beautiful snapshots of us with our family and friends while we were enjoying the moment. I think that is a great quality in a photographer, to be able to capture the best moments without you even being aware that it is being documented. Our wedding was outdoors, and many photographers struggle with capturing good photos outdoors, but outdoor weddings are her thing, for sure. Also, she had our photos turned around for us in 3 weeks--which is pretty fast for wedding photos! Overall, Kristen is very professional, and I highly recommend her work. Thank you Kristen!

Shana Sent on 07/22/2016I don't even know where to start. There are so many great things to say about Kristen and Petal & Glass photography! My husband and I wanted to do a wedding portrait session at the Philadelphia Art Museum and after some research realized that Kristen was the photographer for us. She was quick to answer my emails and even reached out to me by phone to make sure she knew exactly what we were looking for in this portrait session. The day came and Kristen did an amazing job. She directed us how to pose when need be but also captured wonderful candid photos as well. Kristen also was a trooper in managing my cathedral length veil the entire portrait sessions as well! I was so happy with how the photos turned out and how quick Kristen got them back to us. I would definitely recommend Petal & Glass photography to any soon to be bride ??
