Beautiful work!

Melissa from Persnickety was super easy to work with for my wedding. I changed my mind on what I wanted many times, and Melissa was flexible and understanding with each of my changes. I ended up requesting a watercolor of my wedding venue for guests to sign and a watercolor of my dog for a signature drink sign. She was very open to my feedback and worked with me until I was satisfied with both signs. They both turned out amazing! I highly recommend hiring Melissa for your wedding needs.

Melissa took every detail of what we were looking for into consideration!

Working with Melissa was just absolutely amazing! She took every detail of what we were looking for in invitations into consideration and created something absolutely wonderful and yet completely surprising! She was always very good at following up and answering my questions, and hand crafted such wonderful and unique invitations our guests marveled at!

Absolutely Amazing!!

Persnickety did my bridal shower invitations and our wedding invitations, and they both turned out amazing!! There is so many customization to choose from, and Melissa (the owner) is so helpful in making your dreams into a reality. I have no design genes in me, I do not design anything. I told her my colors and what I liked and she put it all together into the perfect invitation! There are so many different types of invitation layouts to choose from as well.
I have to give a huge shout out to them though for saving my sanity. I had the wrong ceremony start time for my wedding and the invitations were already made and printed. I called Melissa freaking out because I realized the mistake (about a 1.5 months before the wedding) and she was able to get new ones printed for me ASAP.
Not only do they offer invitations, but they can also do any custom signs you want made (welcome signs, guest book sign, table chart) as well as table numbers.

One of a kind invitations!

I am still speechless over our wedding invitations (and save the dates). Melissa took all of my ideas and made them a million times better. I truly believe that her colors/design on the invitations brought our whole wedding vision together. She always listened to my thoughts and made perfect changes. I lost count of how many compliments we got about our unique invitations. Persnickety is amazing!

Loved working with Melissa and her staff! Everything turned out beautifully! We custom invitations, from the consultation where we sat down and planned the look of our save the date and wedding invitations to the accessories like our programs and table numbers no detail was left out! Very responsive and everyone commented on how beautiful the invites were. Well worth it!

Quick service beautiful products!

Persnickety made my wedding invitations and our guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique they were! I knew what color paper I wanted for the invites and they took care of the rest! They sent me multiple proofs to make sure they were how we wanted them, we only made minor adjustments and they were perfect! They were so creative and listened to what we wanted! The invites came in very quickly and looked amazing in person. We also wanted a seating chart for our wedding and they did not disappoint! The seating chart matched our wedding theme perfectly and it was also ready so quickly! Persnickety is a very creative and professional stationary service and would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone!

Design and service on point

Working with Persnickety was a dream! I originally found them when they had a booth at a bridal expo and their designs and quality immediately stood out to me. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived, I knew I made the right choice. They provided a huge amount of options for invitations and you could also customize your own. From the beginning of the process through the end, Persnickety was always on top of the timeline and made the entire process seamless. I ordered my invitations, save the dates, and place cards from them and I would highly recommend Persnickety to anyone looking to do the same!

The personnel there were warm and professional. Made some great suggestions. Open to gay weddings which was a real selling point. Fast service and intuitive knowledge that was shared openly.

We hired Persnickety for all our invitations, napkins, coasters, and thank you cards. From the beginning, they made us feel like we were their most important client; walking us through all the options available and helping us decide what was best for us. Our invitations were very elegant, while our napkins and coasters had an element of fun in them. They were able to capture all of this for us! Professional, responsive owner and beautiful products

Melissa at Persnickety was fabulous to work with! She created the most beautiful invitation suite for our wedding as well as programs, signage and escort cards! We met with Katie in the studio for our initial consultation with a thousand different ideas, and left with a solid idea of what was to be created. Melissa sent us our proofs in a timely manner, and it was spot on! She was very responsive and open to our edits. The invitation suites came in quickly and were stunning! She also assisted us with putting together our “day of” accessories ie. programs, escort cards and a big welcome sign, which looked great! Beautifully done Persnickety!!

Gorgeous!!

I had such a great experience working with Persnickety. What an amazing group of women! I knew that everything would turn out beautifully, but when I actually saw the invitations I was speechless. They were absolutely perfect! We did have a small hiccup with mail since there was a storm in the midwest that delayed delivery to the shop, but the team at Persnickety went the extra mile to make sure that when I did receive them I could take them right to the post office to be mailed. They were personable, accommodating, responsive, talented, helpful, and so much more. It was so much fun designing the invitations with Melissa and wow does she have a knack for it! The team is so detail-oriented - I had no errors whatsoever. The whole process was easy, fun, and I got to meet some amazing ladies! I highly recommend Persnickety for any invitation needs.

Seriously masters in their craft. Melissa and her team created beautiful custom save the dates and stunning wedding invitations for my husband and I for our 2018 September wedding, but they didn’t stop there. They were able to take the design from our invitations and incorporate it into our seating charts, place cards, favors signs, and outdoor wedding sign. They are such a pleasure to work with and everything was flawless! We felt as though we were able to express our ideas freely and they were executed beautifully. Not only that, but when we were unsure of what to do Melissa and her team stepped right in with their ideas and it all blended beautifully. We knew we were in good hands the whole time. We would choose them over and over again for our big day. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for unique and personalized invitations and save the dates I would definitely recommend Persnickety Invitation Studio. Persnickety's went above and beyond for our wedding invitations and our accessories for our wedding day! I cannot express in words how truly amazing they all are. First off, our invitations were the most beautiful works of art that I've ever seen. Both my mom and my mother in law said that they had so many people comment on how beautiful and meticulously created the invitations were. When I walked into the studio, they had so many designs to look at and told us they could personalize it however we wanted it to fit our theme. I told them immediately that I was really indecisive and would likely have trouble picking something out- however we told them what we thought we were looking for and by the end of the hour long session, they helped us create the perfect invitation- along with ceremony program and ceremony/reception sign ideas. They provided our ceremony programs and signs for the wedding ceremony and reception as well as our wedding favors. They provided us with so many suggestions and created designs for us that fit in perfectly with our wedding theme. They were so easy to work with and were extremely responsive to emails. They are wedding experts and are full of amazing designs and ideas. I sent them inspiration pictures for the signs that I wanted for the ceremony and reception and the designs they created exceeded every expectation. They had everything done for us promptly on time, even though they are extremely busy!! The beautiful invitations set the tone for our wedding and everything fell into place after that. We are so grateful for the hard working team at Persnickety's and we would recommend them to everyone!!

Wonderful place and wonderful staff! They have tons of options to choose from and the style possibilities are endless. They are prompt and they are always in touch with you to let you know the status of your order.

Katie and Melissa were awesome to work with and they were so accommodating. I even ordered the wrong number of invites and they worked with me to keep the cost down while getting more! You can get everything there from invites to table numbers and menu cards. No typos or errors, everything was perfect and prompt!

I was recommended to check out Persnickety through my wedding coordinator and friend. I am extremely glad I listened! Persnickety is AMAZING in every way! Persnickety worked with me and my husband for our wedding invitations, wedding programs, table numbers, guest book, and seating chart. Melissa and the entire staff is AMAZING! They worked with us to create our customized items to compliment our wedding theme and ideas. They also made sure ALL details were perfect from font type, wording, spelling, color, paper type, and provide you with a "preview" to ensure your order is perfect before ordering the final product. They have TONS of different items, invitations to choose from, and great ideas for customization for just about anything wedding related! I received a lot of compliments on all of the products we purchased through Persnickety (especially the invitations and seating chart). I met with Melissa because I wanted to have all my wedding printing coordinate. I didn’t want to buy pre-designed elements. I am so happy that I decided to work with Melissa and Persnickety Invitation Studio. From day one, I started working with Melissa on the Save the Dates. Everything from that point on coordinated. I was amazed at how everything coordinated but didn’t look exactly the same. Everything Persnickety did was amazing. Melissa is so sweet and does awesome work. I loved stopping in the studio and seeing all the new projects they were working on. I would recommend Persnickety Invitation Studio to anyone looking for custom printing. I may have sat there saying "whatever you want honey" through the entire invitation creation experience. While I was nodding yes to paper types and fonts, I was also taking note of the exceptional products Persnickety was able to create for us. The invitations, programs, escort cards, and signage they produced was all wonderful. If you have a Mac computer, some of their recommendations may come across funky via email. If this happens, just be sure to ask for them in .jpg format. They are extremely pleasant to work with, have wonderful designs, and deliver high quality products.

The entire persnickety team was great throughout our wedding planning process. Alexis designed a custom monogram for us, Katie was so helpful, patient, and responsive throughout the invitation and design process and Melissa helped us complete the last minute details. Persnickety did a wonderful job on my daughters paper suite for her wedding. The wedding theme was water -its cleanliness and fluidity and the concept was a little difficult to create. Melissa came through for us! She is very creative and easy to work with. She and her staff stuffed all the invitations and mailed them for us. It was just so easy. Her escort boards and ceremony boards were beautiful. Will definitely use Persnickety services again.

This invitation studio has been by far the most amazing to deal with. My family decided to add a few people here and there to our invitation list and Persnickety was more than accommodating! Alexis is a designer there and she has been beyond amazing to work with. She knows who you are when you walk in the door. That alone makes you feel special. We worked with Alexis on our invitations. From the time that we met with her to plan everything out for them it was clear that we made the right choice. Alexis' attention to detail can not be beat. She was even able to make us a custom card box in a matter of hours from just a picture that we found online. We received so many compliments on our invitations, even had some people tell us they were displaying them in their houses! This could not have been possible with out Alexis and the entire staff at Persnickety. You can not go wrong with them!

Persnickety went above and beyond for both the invitations and the printing needs for my wedding. They provide superior, quality products! I still marvel over the tastefully sparkly paper as well the beautiful, hand- assembled ribbons they used for our Church programs. Also, they will give you very sound advice on invitation etiquette. I am so glad I did not just order my invitations online like most brides! There are many etiquette details that I would not have been familiar with, and Persnickety will guide you every step of the way. They provide great attention to detail and will help you proofread everything with a fine tooth comb. Many guests commented that our invitation was the most beautiful invitation they had ever received! In fact, one family member said that he wanted to frame the invitation because it is so beautiful! We were impressed with everything - from the invitations, to the Church programs, and many signs as well, we felt that we had stellar quality work. Persnickety staff are all very friendly and will take very good care of you!

Melissa and her staff are AMAZING!! I struggled with finding unique invitations for my wedding. I am very picky and Persnickety delivered with originality and hospitality. Persnickety was extremely accommodating and enjoyable to work with. My experience with Persnickety was so great that I had them make signs, table numbers and a seating chart for my wedding. Melissa’s work is meticulous and beautiful. My seating chart was written on a stunning mirror and was a showstopper at my wedding. Persnickety is a pearl in the Central PA market. The designs and quality of work are unmatched in the area and I wholeheartedly recommend Persnickety.

I went to look at invitations with specific ideas in mind. Having looked online, I thought that I knew exactly what would be perfect for our shabby chic wedding. The staff at persnickety listened to my ideas and guided me to the absolutely most beautiful invitation. Ordering and proofing the invitation suite was problem free and the invitations arrived on time were so beautiful! We couldn't have been happier!

Persnickety is a wonderful place to have all of your wedding stationary needs accommodated. I had excellent customer service with them and they produce very detailed work. Lastly they are extremely organized I felt which really helps your wedding timeline go according to plan. They know all of the etiquette as well for sending invitations, save the dates etc. I highly recommend this store!

We used Persnickety Invitation Studio for our invitations and name cards. It was a pleasure to work with them! When we first started looking at invitations ourselves, we were so overwhelmed. When we went to Persnickety, they made the process so much easier for us. This included going through the options for the invitations, pockets for the invitations and the wording of our invitations, response card, and accommodations card. They spent a lot of time with us to make sure everything was how we wanted it and made the process of reviewing proofs and providing our addresses seamless.

We had such a great experience that we also had them do our name cards. They were fabulous to work with and we told them what graphic we wanted to represent our meal choices and they found them for us. We got the cards back in alphabetical order, with the meal choices, and a key card for the wait staff, not to mention a quick turnaround.

I am so happy that we worked with Persnickety rather than trying to do this all ourselves! We live out of town from Persnickety and where our wedding was, but could do everything remotely (except picking out the invitations which we had wanted to do in person).

We worked with Persnickety to design our wedding invitations, as well as some other paper products for our wedding. We worked mostly with Alexis. I could not have been more thrilled with my experience with Persnickety.

I had no idea what kind of invitations I wanted, and once I saw one element of an invitation in one of their books that I liked, Alexis worked with me to create a semi-custom invitation that was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone kept telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding invitation they had ever received. They were very high quality, particularly for the price that we paid for them, which was very reasonable.

After we had such a great experience with our invitations, we decided to work with Alexis on our other paper goods, including the menu, program, favor, match books, table numbers and place cards, cocktail napkins, and the big sign that directed everyone where to go at the venue. Everything coordinated, and it was all beautiful. Alexis designed all of those elements and they perfectly fit my vision for the day; the items on the tables in particular looked amazing with everything else we had chosen.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Persnickety. They were so warm and friendly, and I could tell they really wanted to give me what I wanted. Thank you Alexis and Melissa!!!

I LOVE Persnickety!! Alexis and Melissa were so amazing to work with. As a newly engaged female I was 100% overwhelmed and pinterest overloaded. When I went to Alexis with 100000 ideas and colors she provided me with multiple 1:1 meetings to help me control my sensory overload and focus on how to get all of the pinterest ideas onto paper. Alexis worked overtime to make my very large wedding dreams come true. She was always easy to work with and when I would send her 20 emails a day updating the seating chart and such she would always respond immediately- thus putting me at ease:) Every time I walked into the store I was greeted with a smile and by name! I could not have asked for for better invitations, save the dates, and wedding decor. My wedding was perfectly pinterest inspired thanks to Alexis and Melissa and the whole Persnickety gang!!! Thank you for making 7-13-13 the best day ever! Oh, and of course I will be using them for party, christmas, and in the wayyyy future birth announcements!

Persnickety's is by far the best place in south central PA to go for invitations of any kind!!! My sister and I have been using them for 4 years for both of our weddings, multiple bridal showers, baby showers, christmas cards, and we are currently working with them to create our baby shower invitations. They created absolutely everything for my wedding including invitations, placecards, menus, programs, signs for the bride/groom seats, & signature drink menus; I couldnt have been happier with everything and I got countless complements from my wedding guests on their work~everything was GORGEOUS!!! Their work is phenomenol and they will work with you to create any invitation you would like! Their ideas are endless! There have been many times that I will go back and forth with them 5-10x making even small changes to my invitations, until I think they are perfect! I have worked very closely with both Melissa & Alexis and they both always have the best & most creative ideas!! When I'm not sure if something will look good, or what the best way to word something is, they always know exactly what to do/say. They always respond quickly to my emails and make themselves available when I need to go in to look at something. It is so nice to be able to completely trust them with something as important as my wedding invitations. They have always demonstrated the utmost professionalism while working with them and I coudn't be happier with all the invitations they have created for me. I have referred multiple friends to them who have also all been extremely happy with their beautiful work and I will continue to use them as long as they are there for future baby announcements, baby showers, birthday parties, etc. I would recommend them to ANYONE! You will not be disappointed!!!!

You can't have a wedding with out invites. And Melissa and the awesome staff made such beautiful cards. Just as I had wished.
My wedding was then created from my invited, to the barn, and table setting branches. All because two birds fell in love.

I went to Persnickety for everything, starting with my save-the-dates. Melissa, the owner and her staff have so much knowledge and could design everything perfectly how we imagined. We could not be happier with the quality of our invitations. Our guests were so impressed, they still can't stop talking on how amazing they looked. We also had Persnickety design our table name cards. Everything turned out perfectly.

Getting in touch and communicating with Persnickety was great. At the time, planning the wedding I was easier to get ahold of through email. They were great at responding and talking to me through there. I would get a phonecall when everything was finished. I would def. recommend Persnickety Invitation Studio to a friend.

If you are looking for a place that will meet all of your wedding printing needs in a creative, professional and unusual manner, this is your place! Melissa took some artwork that I had done for the wedding cake and translated it into a design that we carried through everything from the invitations to the thank you cards and everything in between. Working with Meslissa and her staff was a wonderful experience. Their artwork became the thread that tied everything together. Things were always on time, Melissa took a genuine interest in our wedding and everything was correct! Avoid all those cookie cutter invitations and get something really personal designed for you and you alone.

We worked with Melissa and her team at Persnickety for all of our wedding stationary needs. Our experience with Persnickety was nothing short of excellent from start to finish. Melissa worked with us directly to create invitations, programs, menus, table numbers, place cards, and much more that illustrated our personality as a couple. Worth every penny!

At first, we were a little hesitant to use a company for Save the Dates, invites etc. however after we visited the studio/store we knew this was the right choice! We were instantly put at ease with the assistance of Katie and Melissa. Based on your budget you can find something that works for you! The best part was that they were not only able to design/customize but also address and send out the invites for us. Katie and Melissa were quick, efficient, and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend their services for your wedding!

Melissa and her team at Persnickety are seriously one in a million. She helped us select the perfect invitation suite and then designed save the dates to match! She also created all of our signs (beautifully handwritten), seating chart, programs and menu. She really blew me away when my table numbers hadn't come in on time and she designed some for me the day before my wedding. You will not get this kind of service and quality of caring from one of those online stores. You MUST visit Persnickety for any wedding detail you need. They seriously made my wedding <3

Knowing that invitations are the first glimpse your guests are going to get into your wedding, I wanted mine to be spectacular and Melissa and her team at Persnickety certainly delivered! I have been told by multiple people that the invitations are the prettiest they have ever seen and I totally have to agree! I found Persnickety randomly online as a vendor of pocketfolds that I wanted to use for the invites. I went to the studio thinking that I was just going to place an order for pocketfolds and absolutely ended up falling in love with the studio and the samples that they had displayed throughout. After talking with Alexis about my ideas I was convinced that I did not want to handle the responsibility of printing my invites. A family member designed our invite and all I had to do was turn over the PDF and Persnickety took care of the rest. They are very flexible and accommodating with any idea and will design everything for you should you want them to. The end result was awesome! We got so many compliments on our invites and some guests even kept them as a keepsake! I've never gotten professional invites prior to this so I can't really say if their pricing is typical. You absolutely get what you pay for though so know that going in you will leave with a great product for whatever you choose to spend. I would use them again absolutely!

We used Persnickety for our wedding this past May 2011 and they did a wonderful job. Although they are a little pricey, what you are paying for is someone's expertise is design and print. They will work with your timeline, vision, and budget to recommended a bunch of options. Although you can often find the samething online for less, the burden is on you for design/layout issues and the time it takes to do everything. For the extra money and variety of options for things in one place, Persnickety was wonderful!

I used Persnickety for my wedding invitations, ceremony programs, table cards, etc. Overall they did a good job on my order, but it was kinda an inconvenience for me because I traveled to the shop almost every week sometimes a couple times a week just to keep proofing my stuff. They were also extremely expensive. Looking back on it all, I could have cut this cost by ordering invitations online or doing not such an elaborate invite. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a unique invitation for their wedding or special occasion and doesn't have a specific budget, but I would not recommend Persnickety for anyone who is on a tight budget!

Save the Dates

The overall save the date quality we received was good, and the staff were very friendly (which is what sold me) but I unfortunately can not recommend a facility that responds slowly to emails and delivers a product late. I didn't receive save the date proofs until a few days before the due date (which rushed the design process to the max) and even after we picked them up we were missing envelopes and had to wait another two weeks, beyond the deadline, to receive the remaining items we purchased. I liked the design (it could have been better with more time) but it was just a stressful and unpleasant experience overall. I think there is a ton of competition, especially online with custom Minted designs, and I just had a hard time understanding the lack of service knowing this was true. I usually go to smaller boutique places when I am okay spending more money in order to receive top notch service... unfortunately in this instance it did not happen. This place would have absolutely knocked it out of the ball park if I could have reached them quickly when I had questions and the product was on time.

This place is a joke. They love you when you're willing to spend A LOT of money on their higher priced offerings, but if you aren't, you're treated like a peon. My fiancée and I spent over $800 on save the date magnets, which was about 120 of them. They were colored and about half of them were ruined because the ink must've run out and gave the magnets a greenish hue. That was one problem. When it came time to have our invitations done, we decided to go elsewhere because their costs are outrageous. When we were there to buy basic supplies to have somebody else print our invitations, the girls were completely rude and weren't willing to help us with very small questions. Point in fact, after they milked us for what we were willing to spend, they wanted nothing to do with us. If you want professionalism and a great experience, don't go here. These snobs care about nothing more than the money, not about you enjoying your experience and having fun designing things for your big day. Persnickety is nothing more than a façade. Where do they get off charging people astronomical prices in York, PA?? My advice: search around or order them from the Internet. You'll save a ton of money and the experience of young snobs.
