DJ Perry is the BEST!
DJ Perry is the absolute best and I cannot recommend him enough as an MC, DJ, and all around great person. I chose him because he had so many incredible reviews and I wanted to be sure that the person leading the flow of our wedding and working the dance floor was a pro and he over delivered!! Our dance floor was packed all night and I had so many guests tell me they had a blast. He was super responsive, very organized, answered all of our questions, and was so warm and energetic. It's very clear he loves what he does. He's so talented and I'm forever grateful we chose him for our wedding. Thank you Perry!! -

Perry at Master Piece DJ was absolutely fantastic to work with! From the start, he was incredibly communicative, professional, and detail-oriented — it was clear he truly cares about creating a great experience for both the couple and their guests. There are not enough words to describe how truly amazing Perry was as our wedding MC and DJ! Perry was so wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding, providing us a lot of helpful recommendations when it came to finding the right songs to set the right energy we wanted for the ceremony. He was an AMAZING MC when it came to introducing the bridal party, speeches, and more to keep everything flowing nicely through the evening. Most importantly, when we first met with Perry, we told him we wanted a party and a full dancefloor all night long and HE DELIVERED! He completely read the room and was able to deliver hit after hit where the dacefloor had singing, dancing, and amazing energy the entire time. We truly can't thank Perry enough for being an integral part to creating the wedding and party of our dreams. All the guests we talked to repeatedly praised Perry, and each compliment was 100000% deserved and we echoed them all. If you want a phenomenal DJ and a wonderful person to support you at your event, I would highly recommend Perry. Thank you, Perry! -

We hired Perry before ever meeting him based on recommendation from our venue (The Oaks) and it was THE BEST choice! We were blessed to meet him at our food tasting and he brought the vibes and we knew we made the right choice. We had a few calls with Perry to understand what we needed to plan versus what he was going to handle - all of our calls were fun and we hung up saying "he is the best". The same exact words were said at the end of our wedding. We were married on 12/31/24 and the wedding went 30 minutes past midnight. Perry kept the dance floor packed all night long and carried us into the new year. Our night was so much fun and we can credit so much of that to Perry. THANK YOU! -

If you're looking for a DJ, Perry is your man. He did a fantastic job with our wedding and kept the dance floor moving all night. We couldn't have asked for a better party. Beyond being amazing with the music, he was so kind, warm, and easy to work with. He covered us all day, from the ceremony to the party, and everything was smooth and seamless. DJ Perry made our wedding an unforgettable celebration! We can confidently say he is the best DJ ever! We specifically sought him out for our wedding because my husband has fond memories of his brother's wedding a decade ago, where DJ Perry left everyone raving about the music. After hearing how amazing the music was back then, we knew we had to have him for our wedding, and he absolutely did not disappoint!
From our very first conversation, he was incredibly communicative and made the entire planning process enjoyable. He took the time to understand our vision, and we could tell he genuinely cared about making our night unforgettable. He expertly mixed our playlist with similar songs, creating an atmosphere that perfectly reflected our style.
The transitions and mixing were epic! We were in awe of his talent and how seamlessly he kept the energy flowing throughout the night. The dance floor was packed with non-stop bangers, and our guests were raving about how much fun they had dancing the night away. We can't recommend him highly enough—he truly is the best! -

DJ Perry at the Manor House was wonderful. He invited us to his home for an initial consultation and was eager to hear about our musical taste and helped us figure out the flow for the wedding. He did an amazing job with audio for the ceremony and for the reception he hit every cue perfectly - fading out our first dance song at the right time, introducing speeches, etc. He took requests and kept the party going. Definitely hire him! -

DJ Perry is THE BEST!!!!! We can't say enough about how great of an experience we had when he DJ'ed our wedding in August. After a COVID postponement, we met with him two different times to talk about music. He's so warm and friendly and fun, and knew exactly what we were looking for. He's a great MC and kept people (of all ages) on the dance floor the entire night. Couldn't have asked for a better music experience with DJ Perry! -

Man oh man.. my fiancé, our guests, EVERYONE keeps talking about Perry and our reception. Finding a good DJ was one of my hardest vendor choices, I searched and searched and had call over call and couldn't find someone who matched our personalities. I was talking with my florist (Kimball Floral) and she recommended me to Perry (I'm so glad I said something). EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT. He kept the dance floor packed, read the room, if my guests weren't feeling the song, he'd hurry up and switch to a different one. A side from the music, he was a great MC for the night and helped to navigate the speeches, got the guests pumped up for the bridal party and our introduction. The best part about him is that he just an awesome person, he truly cares about what does, and wants every wedding to be that couple's best night ever. If you want a party for a wedding and a packed dance floor, Perry is your man. I highly, highly recommend! -

There aren't enough good things we can say about Perry! Coronavirus or not- Perry knows how to get the party going! I created an account just to post this review so I could share how amazing Perry was. Our guests were wow’d by the music he played and the party he started! :) Everything was perfect and our guests were on the dance floor ALL night. I would absolutely recommend Perry if you’re looking for a great DJ - our family is full of partiers so we wanted someone who could keep the party going and he did just that! Perry was awesome! Super quick to reply to emails and questions, extremely professional, and fun to work with. My husband and I do not have the most mainstream music tastes and Perry was very considerate of that. We essentially sent him the main songs and then a playlist for dancing he only strayed from it a couple of times, but his choices fit in very well. His set up is great, and fit into the rest of our decor very well (you can see his set up in the first two photos). He was also attuned to the different moods of the day, when people were eating and talking, dancing and not talking, he got everyone hyped up, and played soothing music during the lulls. He also mic’d our officiant (you can see the label mic in the last photo) which was lovely, as he gave a great ceremony and with us being outside I was worried guests wouldn’t hear us, but they did thanks to Perry. -

The world needs more DJ’s like Perry! I meet and hired him on the sport at an open house at the venue my husband and I got married at, that is how wonderful he is. He is also the preferred DJ at this venue, which says a lot, as this venue is one of the most popular in the Denver area.
Perry is extremely professional and is all about the value he can add to your wedding day and making it as easy as possible leading up to that day and the day of. He does not offer different levels of packages that include more lights, more microphones for more money (I was tired of seeing the “different packages” you can get for more money and more money, during the wedding planning process). He offers one package that includes EVERYTHING that you would need for that day at an extremely affordable price.
Perry and I spoke a few times leading up to the wedding and every time he would email me back right away, I never had to wait for a response. On the day of the wedding, he showed up on time, dressed to impressed and had everything ready to go. There were never any hiccups and he did an amazing job from beginning to end. He is a seasoned veteran at running his business and it shows; he is ready for any small change, any request and his announcing is impeccable. He was always very kind to me and all of the guests. It is also very apparent he LOVES what he does as all night you could see him laughing, smiling and dancing with all of us. He ended the night with one last song that he pulled out and, man, was it a HIT! Everyone was screaming the song and dancing their hearts out. At midnight, when the cords were pulled, half (I’m not kidding) of the 150 wedding guests were left standing on the dance floor, sweaty and out of breath, grinning from ear to ear because they just experienced a DJ that gave them a night to remember!

Perry makes sure the music is on point with the type of ceremony and reception you are looking for! We walked into our reception to the Star Wars theme song and it was EPIC! When we booked our wedding at The Manor House Perry was one of the DJs they recommended, and now I know why.
Perry provided audio for our outdoor ceremony, including music and microphones. I did not hear one complaint about not being able to hear during the ceremony because of the quality equipment that Perry uses.
Perry made a seamless transition from ceremony to dinner music, and from dinner to the dance. It was 2.5 hours of straight DANCING! I've had multiple compliments regarding Perry's performance and it was a highlight of our day.

I truly cannot imagine a more perfect DJ for our wedding day!! My husband and I got married on June 23rd at the Manor House in Littleton. DJ Perry went above and beyond to ensure our day went flawlessly, and I can honestly say it was a perfect day. His prices are beyond reasonable for the full range of services he provides. We were all mic’d appropriately so guests could here vows, speeches, etc at the perfect volume. He controlled music both inside and outside the venue as well as for the ceremony, reception, and exit. Of all of the wonderful services DJ Perry provided us with that day, a stand out is an informal iPhone video recording of our wedding exit he later sent us. This was the sweetest thing to open in our email as we arrived at our honeymoon. I really can not recommend DJ Perry enough, he was truly a joy to work with from the beginning of this planning process to (quite literally) our wedding exit. -

We first met Perry at The Manor House (our venue) Showcase which was an open house to meet some of the favorite vendors, recommended by The Manor House. The moment we met Perry, we knew we were in the presence of an incredible man. He was warm, welcoming, friendly, fun, lively and professional, dressed in a sharp suit. Perry had it all put together. It was evident. Talk about excellent "First Impressions". We also met Christa, his wife, who helps with everything, and she was absolutely wonderful as well.
When it was time to officially choose a DJ, Perry's name (Master Piece DJ) kept coming to the front. Our videographer also recommended Perry, due to the high-end top-quality audio and lighting equipment Perry uses, which allows the video quality to turn out better. He also told us that Perry knew how to throw a good party and get guests up and dancing all night. We hand-picked Perry from an entire list of potential DJ's. Perry embodied everything we wanted and he perfectly matched what we were looking for. The pricing was where we were hoping to be, Perry was very responsive to our emails/phone calls and texts, and as we were on the journey of creating our wedding, Perry helped us in all ways. Perry invited us over to his home to go over our special request of creating our own unique First Dance Song. We told him we wanted to blend two songs into one - we wanted the first part of "You're So Good To Me" by the Beach Boys to transform and mix into different sections of "Something About The Way You Look Tonight" by Elton John. Perry took the time and effort to mix these songs for us, even several different times, to make sure it was exactly how and where in the songs we wanted it. We couldn't have been happier with how seamless the mix was. It was perfect! We sent him song lists with certain songs we wanted for different events such as walking down the isle, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, etc. and gave him ideas of other songs we like for dancing, etc. but wanted him to have the freedom to play any song he saw fit for the moment. Perry also brought uplights to help our florist create our Winter Wonderland Wedding setting in the Great Room where the ceremony and reception both took place. Our wedding was our dream turned into reality, and Perry was such an enormous part of making that happen. Perry is so professional and has the ability to read a crowd perfectly. He knew what songs to play (even latin/spanish songs) to really get the party going. We had a large number of latin/spanish friends who attended the wedding and because of Perry, all got up and danced with us the rest of the night. Perry picked the perfect set of songs to play that catered toward our guests who were there that night, while also playing many of our requested songs and artists. If it hadn't been for Perry and his expertise, our big dance party celebration probably would not have turned out as we were hoping. We felt very lucky that Perry was there with us. He kept the timing and events flowing smoothly, as well as being an incredible host for the evening. All of our guests knew what was going on at every moment, due to Perry updating them and getting them involved in the celebration. We felt so blessed to not only have the opportunity to meet Perry, but having him as a key member of our team meant the world to us. We also made a very dear friend in this journey. Perry is the only DJ we would and will ever recommend to anyone. He is amazing. Thank you Perry and Christa Washington and The Master Piece DJ for helping to make all of our Fairytale Wedding Dreams come true. It truly was the most incredible celebration we've ever been a part of! -

Perry was recommended to us by our wedding venue and hiring him was without a doubt one of the best decisions of our wedding! To add a little context, we lived out of state so trying to find a DJ (in addition to all the other wedding vendors) was stressful to say the least. But after my first email exchange with Perry, I knew he was it. Perry was on top of his game throughout the entire process and made everything a breeze. I never had to stress about anything, he always knew what to do, when to do it and how to make sure everything ran smoothly. We even asked him if he could help us get footage of just our ceremony on our GoPro and he did that, and so much more! He kept repositioning the GoPro throughout the evening and captured almost half our reception (until the battery eventually died). Being able to look back on that footage is such a treasure and we are so thankful for his dedication to making our day so special :)
If that’s not enough, Perry has such a magnetic personality and knows just how to get everyone out on the dance floor. I’m not a big dancer myself but he even managed to get me out there because the vibe was SO. MUCH. FUN. Did I mention the amazing sound quality and all the fun lights? I could go on forever but to wrap things up, it’s undeniable that Perry is extremely passionate about the work that he does and that's what makes him the best. Trust me when I say that Perry should be your only choice when looking for a DJ!

In the beginning stages of planning my wedding, finding a DJ that understood our vision and didn't expect us to pay an arm and a leg seemed like it was going to be the most stressful piece. Then I found Perry! From the first time I reached out to Perry he was by far the fastest responding vendor I have ever encountered via email which I absolutely loved. Whether his email was just confirming receipt of my email and letting me know he would get back to me I always felt acknowledged and knew I would hear back from Perry in record time. Each time he reached out, he just took away so much stress and made this piece of the wedding that much easier. I literally only requested 6 major songs for my wedding (processional, recessional, first dance, etc.) and left the entire cocktail hour, dinner, and reception to Perry. BEST DECISION EVER! Perry made me so comfortable leaving the music selection in his hands. He also brings amazing lighting, speakers, microphones, etc. which are all inclusive of his very affordable and reasonable pricing. I've never seen a wedding where so many people were dancing and commenting on the music the entire time. I would recommend Perry to anyone and can't thank him enough for making our wedding day so special. You are the best Perry!!!! -

Tessa Sent on 05/21/2014If you are looking for a GREAT, AFFORDABLE DJ for your wedding, look no further - Perry is the man. My now-husband and I were referred to Perry by our venue, as he performs there for weddings and events regularly. When we called him, he set up an appointment to meet with us right away. Perry is not only an all-around friendly and charismatic guy, but he is also extremely professional and knowledgeable about all things music and sound (including his state-of-the art sound systems!) He walked through all the details with us, asked what theme we were going for and what type of music we liked, and offered tips and suggestions when we were unsure. We decided to hire Perry to DJ our wedding ceremony and the second half of our reception (we had a live band for the first half).
When it came time for the actual wedding, Perry brought 2 sound systems - one for the ceremony site and one for the reception. He provided our officiant with a wireless lapel microphone, and even brought an extra one (thank goodness!) that my husband used because he lost his voice the day before the wedding.
Perry really read the crowd and played music that kept the all of the guests dancing throughout the night. We gave him a list before the wedding of "must plays" and "do-not-plays" and he followed our suggestions perfectly! Our guests were raving at the end of the night about what a great job he did, and my husband and I could not be happier at how everything turned out.
Oh, and an added bonus: he sent us a DVD slideshow of hundreds of photos that he'd taken throughout the evening! What a wonderful surprise! -

He had professional top of the line equipment and he kept the party going and got people up and out of their seats and dancing! The layout of our venue forced us to move the party from the tent at 9:30ish to inside the house because of the noise ordinance in the area and Parry was able to move the party fluidly from one place to another with a conga line that worked perfectly! We were so happy with Perry and would recommend him to anyone we know that is getting married or anyone who just needs an awesome DJ! :) -

DJ Perry knows how to keep a party going. From the moment he instructed our guests to grab their napkins and get on their feet for our grand entrance, we knew the night was in good hands. He was an excellent MC, read the room beautifully, and kept the dance floor packed from start to finish. Not a single lull all night.
That said, we do want to be transparent for couples who are particular about their music. We provided Perry with a must play list, a do not play list, and a general playlist to set the tone, and those preferences were not closely followed on the night. It did not ruin our evening by any means, the energy was incredible, but it is worth knowing going in.
If you are a couple who wants a DJ to take full creative control and deliver non-stop energy, DJ Perry is absolutely your guy. If specific songs are important to you, just make sure to have a direct conversation with him about how closely he will stick to your list.
