Shannon is an absolute pro. The experience she brings is invaluable — she truly knows what works and what doesn’t. She’s incredibly detail-oriented and somehow manages to think of everything. We’re still amazed by how seamlessly she pivoted when a sudden thunderstorm hit; she had our entire reception moved indoors within minutes! We had the most amazing day and are so grateful for Shannon! -

Shannon was amazing to work with from the start. She went above and beyond in everything from the day of the wedding to the small details I had not even thought of. She also had an incredible recommendations for venues and vendors which made it so much easier. Shannon was there to answer every question for us and catered all of our requests. She worked with our budget and gave us a list of vendors within that. She made us a step by step guide and master list of everything we needed and what would happen on the wedding day. She coordinated with the vendors day of, so all we had to do was enjoy our day! I could never imagine our wedding day would have been as beautiful as it was! It was unbelievable. Shannon is more than a planner to us. You can tell she puts a lot of love into the work she does... and the people as well. -

Shannon with Periwinkle Events was such a joy to work with. She made the entire wedding planning process easy and enjoyable from start to finish. She helped plan every detail, connected us with amazing vendors who were within our budget, and brought everything together beautifully. On the day of our wedding, I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was able to just enjoy the day knowing everything was handled. Shannon was amazing in planning our New Year Eve wedding at the end of 2023. There were so many little details that she kept track of, between managing our vendors, guests, and timeline. Our wedding day would not have gone smoothly without her. We were very impressed by her way to keep us on track with planning, especially when we lived in another state and were planning a local PNW wedding. I would recommend Shannon to anyone planning a wedding, even if you aren’t sure that you need a wedding coordinator. Worth her weight in gold and best choice we made for our wedding day! -

Sitting nearly 6 months after our Wedding, I can wholeheartedly say Shannon and Periwinkle Events are what made our planning process—and flawless execution day-of—an absolute dream. Shannon’s expertise, particularly of the Portland+ area and vendors, helped us make well-informed decisions about our celebration. She completely alleviated our planning anxiety and truly enabled us to be “in the moment” during the day. Hiring Shannon was the first planning decision we made (and is up there for most impactful decision, too) and we couldn’t be happier with how our planning went together and how well the day was executed. Shannon went above and beyond our expectations for a wedding planner! She was extremely proficient in all steps of planning and day of execution. We had a few over the top design requests which Shannon handled with ease, she made multiple google docs and spreadsheets to keep track of everything. She was in constant communication with us and all of our vendors, including rehearsal dinner. She made our wedding day the most magical and special day! Shannon was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! We had our wedding at Mt Hood Skibowl and the ceremony and reception were at different locations on the mountain- there were a lot of logistics involved but thanks to Shannon the day was smooth sailing. Shannon is like a momma bear and she will make sure you get what you want and that you truly enjoy your day. We couldn't recommend her more as a wedding planner!! -

Simply the BEST
I cannot share enough about how wonderful Shannon is as a person, and how special she made our fall wedding in October 2021. My husband and I met Shannon when touring our future wedding venue and knew pretty immediately that we needed her to help us organize and manage our wedding as we planned from two different states and during a 3 month engagement! I could talk about how kind Shannon was throughout the planning process, the ideas she gave us to cut costs while still delivering a beautiful experience for our guests, or how organized she was in thinking of literally EVERYTHING that needed to get done for the big day, but what I appreciated most of all was Shannon’s fairy magic touch on the ceremony and reception. While I thought that we had gone over every detail, discussed every tea candle, mapped every flower that would go on every table, and then some… I realized that Shannon did so much more than we ever discussed. There were small details I noticed throughout that special day that were never discussed or planned, and I knew Shannon was the one to make it happen. When reflecting back on our wedding, my memories Shannon are of how special she made me feel (as if she doesn’t see a hundred brides and make them all feel equally special), but also of her working so hard to make it perfect - filling the vases with water for our centerpieces, bringing me a cocktail because she knew I wasn’t able to run to the bar, and packing up the decorations while the rest of us danced the night away. My husband and I felt that our meeting Shannon was divinely orchestrated, and we still remember her so fondly a year and a half later! Thank you, Shannon, for all that you did to make the best day of our lives absolutely perfect. -

I do not know what I would have done without Shannon. Shannon is really sweet and very thoughtful when it comes to wedding event planning. She made such an effort to truly understand us as a couple and what we wanted for our wedding to help us create our special day.
Seriously, I would have had multiple panic attacks if I did not have Shannon helping prior to the wedding and the day of, especially our wedding planning was during the pandemic. When COVID hit, my husband and I had to reschedule our wedding day twice, and we lost our venue and a few of our vendors during the time. Thankfully, Shannon is flexible and continued to work with us. She is extremely knowledgable, has an amazing network of diverse vendors, is always available to talk something through and overall made our wedding process so so much better. Shannon even volunteered to be our officiant when we lost mine last minute and panicking to search for a new one. We can't thank her enough for the help she has given us. We love you Shannon!!!! -

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Shannon! We had a postponed COVID wedding and she was our coordinator for (a long time). She was caring, sympathetic, and extremely patient with us all while keeping everything in line/organized and on track for us. She really got a feel for us as a couple and knew exactly how we wanted things when it came to be our big day. The day was SO SMOOTH and we owe that all to her. From scheduling, to rehearsal, to set up, it’s obvious that she is meant to do this and she excels at it! I can’t recommend her enough. The smartest thing you can do for yourself while wedding planning is booking Shannon as your coordinator- you will NOT be disappointed!

My husband and I had an absolutely incredible experience with Shannon at Periwinkle Events NW. Shannon was our wedding day of coordinator. Her help and insights did not just happen the day of, but she was so important in helping us in the months leading up to the event. She consistently thought of big things that would not have occurred to me, but that were extremely important. She saved the day in so many ways. Shannon has a naturally effervescent personality. Her sense of humor helps lighten any pre-wedding stress, and her confident knowledge of events and weddings in particular was a huge asset.
My husband and I have many siblings and close friends, so Shannon also gracefully managed our large wedding party. She and her assistant were excellent in managing a big (and sometimes hyper) group.
Our wedding day ran so smoothly and it was because of Shannon's hard work. We loved working with her and highly recommend her. -

Shannon was so incredibly helpful in planning our special day and I can’t imagine it without her help. I had envisioned what I wanted but I am the worst at planning. Shannon helped me through many of the steps in scheduling vendors and choosing decor. She was willing to come out to our venue to do a rehearsal with all of us and go over final details of decor. On the day-of, we barely had any tasks. She thought through everything that needed to be done and have us the chance to enjoy our special day. There were no hiccups (that I know about!) during our ceremony and reception. Good times were had by all. -

I originally was interested in Periwinkle Events for their rentals but after meeting, chatting, laughing and feeling incredibly comfortable around Shannon, I knew she needed to coordinate our wedding too. I typically like to have control and know about every little detail that’s going on but she made it so easy to trust her and let her take on those responsibilities (and stress.) Wow! Where do I even get started?? I own Maple Leaf Events Wedding Venue and we had Shannon as the coordinator for a wedding here on 6/22/19. From the beginning Shannon was an amazing communicator, very organized, super professional, and also very personable! She went above and beyond for our bride and groom. She arrived early, worked hard to create a beautiful space, ran the timeline flawlessly, and had a great attitude the whole time. At the end of the night our venue was spotless, cleanup was flawless, and our cleaning list was completed without a hitch. I would highly recommend and very much hope she will be back at our venue in the future!
