It was wonderful working with Chhavi for my bridal saree draping. She was highly responsive the week leading up to the wedding while we coordinated the drop-off and pick-up for pre-draping. She handled my bridal saree and madisar as well as my mom and sister's Iyer-style madisars. Her draping was deft, and both the saree and madisars stayed completely intact throughout the event. While my sister's madisar unfortunately ended up being draped the incorrect way, Chhavi's overall work was excellent. She brought wonderful energy to the room while we were getting ready, constantly hyping me up and making the experience special. She was the sweetest person to work with, and I would gladly recommend her services and work with her again. -

Can’t recommend enough.
If you are second guessing whether it is worth having Chhavi drape you/your party at your wedding, just do it. She made all of us look totally flawless and paid special attention to the bride. Every pleat and fold was meticulously placed and ironed, and she makes you feel very beautiful by offering encouraging words of affirmation. She is very professional but extremely kind and beyond attentive. She cares so much about making everyone look amazing and feel comfortable. Sarees can be very tricky depending on the material, and having Chhavi there makes you have to worry about one less thing, leaving you to enjoy more of your special day. She is totally worth it and I cannot recommend her enough! -

Working with Chhavi was truly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding weekend! She was the very first vendor I booked because I knew I couldn't have anyone but her for my wedding. From pre-pleating my sangeet dupatta to draping sarees for my family, friends, and all of my bridal looks, she absolutely exceeded every expectation.
She is incredibly talented, efficient, and professional while also being so warm and kind throughout the entire process. Every single drape looked flawless, stayed perfectly in place, and photographed beautifully. We were even able to do a special entry dance in our sarees for the ceremony and nothing shifted out of place! I received endless compliments on all of my looks, and my friends and family kept saying how confident and beautiful they felt in their sarees thanks to her.
We even had needs for some new drapes that she hadn't really done before, like a 6-yards Iyengar Madisar drape and a Brahmani Nauvari 9-yards drape. Chhavi worked with us to practice both the drapes beforehand and did a trial with us to make sure we felt confident on the big day and ultimately she crushed it with both on the day of.
What amazed me most was how fast and calm she was while handling so many people and events across the weekend. She made everything feel effortless. I’m beyond grateful for her hard work, attention to detail, and positive energy. I cannot recommend her enough for any bride looking for someone truly exceptional! -

I had the absolute best experience with Chhavi! She draped my tissue saree flawlessly, which is no easy task, and made it look elegant and effortless. What truly stood out was how she went above and beyond, even helping me with last-minute details like draping my dupatta perfectly for my reception look.
She also draped sarees for my mom and masi, and they both looked amazing. Chhavi is not only incredibly skilled but also calm, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better draping artist, highly recommend her! -

Chhavi saved the day for our destination wedding in Mexico City! One week before our wedding, the local draping artist we had originally planned for our wedding in CDMX dropped out. Luckily, Chhavi was available and extremely responsive at the last minute. My mom had gotten our saris pre-pleated in India without any measurements and, unfortunately, the pleats were not in the correct places. Chhavi painstakingly stayed up until midnight ironing and re-ironing the sari so it could be perfect for our ceremony! Just one of the many details that makes her stand out. She was, by far, one of the best vendors we worked with, with such a personable, charming, and detail-oriented approach to each and every person she draped. She was extremely efficient with sari draping, so even when we were inevitably running behind, she could still find the time to drape all my friends and family. She also curated unique looks for each of my lehengas that held up through car rides and dancing. I never had to worry about anything coming out of place. As a testament to her skill, my aunt decided that she wanted to hire Chhavi for her daughter's wedding as well. Another of aunt's who already has many years of experience draping herself could not resist having her drape her own sari and managed to learn some new tricks. Our wedding would not have run as smoothly without Chhavi's help. From fixing our accessories to adjusting every detail of my outfits, I have to admire Chhavi's precision and perfection. Thank you for making our day so special! -

Chhavi was so flexible and communicative throughout the planning process. Her knowledge about a variety of pleating styles made our multicultural Indian wedding so much easier. I wore both a paithani and iyengar-style madisar and she was able to help with both and both our moms outfits as well.
She also ensured our jewelry looked neatly set. -

She is amazing!
Chhavi was always so kind, professional, on time, creative and flexible. I was so nervous about wearing my first South Indian silk saree (I’m North Indian) and she made the process a dream.
She thoughtfully helped me see a few different styles and helped me accentuate my features so I would feel confident and beautiful. I owe her for how I felt on my wedding day, confident, secure (with lots of safety pins), and most of all, ready to ride off into the sunset set with my husband.

Destination wedding queen!
I had my wedding in Thailand and Chhavi absolutely slayed each and every outfit look (I had over 6!) — she got me ready on time for each event and assured my entire family was dressed to their 10s. Everyone said the crispness of my wedding lengha and chunni was unmatched. She is also the sweetest person ever!!! -

Chhavi was amazing and went the extra mile to ensure that my girls’ sarees looked perfect.
As for me, I had a very heavy chunni and she ensured it looked exactly right and didn’t move during our warm but windy day.

Chhavi is a bowl of sunshine. She's extremely professional and was able to steam our outfits beautifully and pleat them extremely professionally. I don't think I've ever seen a neater saree on me. My body was able to shine as is without feeling like a complete different silhouette (which i've struggled with ESPECIALLY with kanjivaram sarees). She takes direction really well and was prompt & on time for all occasions. -

I booked Chhavi for my wedding this past April. She arrived on time, ready to help! Amongst the wedding morning chaos. She quickly sprang into action with ironing, pleating, draping.
The designer saris we ordered were even sewn upside down but she figured it all out. She fixed my veil, did a wonderful job draping my sari, she helped with my dad's shawl, my bridesmaids and bridesman.
Thave no idea what we would have done without
Chhavi. If you don't have anyone in your circle of family or friends who can help you get ready for your wedding, you must book Chhavi. She will help tremendously!

I have to add to the chorus of people singing praises for Chhavi. Like everyone else, I truly don’t know what we would have done without her while getting ready for my Sangeet and Wedding. I was referred to her by a friend who told me if I was wearing a saree for my wedding, I had to book Chhavi. I’ll admit my mom and I were skeptical we needed the help - now we wish we could have Chhavi help us ahead of every event we attend! Both days, Chhavi swooped into our rooms and was done with each person in five minutes, saving us so much time ahead of each event. She did an amazing job draping both sarees and lehengas - she made all the women look our absolute best. As the bride, she really seemed to work with my body, my style, and my vision for my wedding day—a mix of modern and traditional—and made adjustments to make the sari feel tailored to me and my style. Chhavi goes above and beyond, too: she is absolutely an angel and a joy to have around. She will shower the women with compliments - everyone felt beautiful after being draped by her. Chhavi is absolutely worth every penny to have help at your wedding or any special event!!! -

Chhavi did a great job draping my sari and my husband's stole for my wedding in October. She arrived on time (actually early!) and was super flexible during the booking process (I canceled and rebooked at least once and she was really nice about it.) Great pricing, totally worth it. Absolutely elevated the look of our outfits.
One note-- make sure that you plan your wedding day timing wisely (i.e. figuring out how long it will take h&m to finish) and give Chhavi as accurate a time range as possible for when you'll need her services. She might have another client she's booked after you so it's important to not run late or you might make her late and she'll need to go! -

Amazing Saree Draping by Chhavi!
I recently got married and needed to get someone to drape my wedding sari on me. After doing lots of research the option that really stood out to me was Saree Draping by Chhavi. Chhavi was quick to respond, and did am amazing job both draping my Saree on me during the wedding as well as pre-pleating my sari, my mother in laws and sister in laws. Overall it was an easy experience and she did a fantastic job! -

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Perfect saree Draping by Chhavi for my wedding, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Draping a saree perfectly can be tricky, but she made me feel like a queen!
The saree drape was absolutely perfect. The pleats were neat, the pallu fell beautifully, and everything stayed in place throughout the event.
Chhavi was punctual, friendly, and professional. She arrived on time and helped me get dressed quickly, making sure everything was perfect before I headed to the wedding venue.
The pricing is on the higher side and the packages offered are not the most flexible if you do not have a big party to get draped.
Overall, Chhavi made my wedding day stress-free by ensuring that I looked flawless in my saree!
