Such an amazing experience!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Susan as the officiant for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we first connected, she made us feel completely at ease and understood exactly the tone we wanted for our ceremony. Great Officiant - Book Sid!

At first, we were a little nervous to book a company to marry us, but we had such a wonderful experience with Affordable I Do’s! From the very start, Susan was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful in walking us through the process.

Our officiant, Sid, was fantastic—warm, personable, and professional. We had a 2 meetings with Sid and each one she was very friendly and easy to talk to. She gave a great ceremony as well! She showed up on time, remembered to ask guests to rise and sit - plus she also remembered to step to the side after announcing us as husband and wife! She also mailed the marriage certificate the day of and sent us a photo confirming she had done it. This alleviated a lot of stress for us and we got a copy of our marriage license very early the next week!

We’re so grateful to Susan, Sid, and the Affordable I Do’s team for making our wedding day so special. Wouldn't change a thing and would definitely book again - highly recommend!

Made our ceremony perfect!

Perfect Day Ceremonies LLC & Affordable I Do’s made our ceremony exactly what we wanted! Susan helped us figure out the right package for us, gave us templates to get a basis for our ceremony and helped us incorporate unique aspects to make it our own! Rev. Julie Ann Schauer was our officiant, a few weeks prior to the ceremony we had phone call to go over the ceremony plans and details. On the day of, she was just as friendly in person as on the phone. She was incredibly professional and organized, leading the ceremony with ease. She perfectly executed the ceremony we dreamed of, one that meant something to both of us and wasn’t just “fluff”. She delivered the readings with heart and passion, making it feel like we had known her for longer than the few hours we’ve spent together. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an officiant!

Excellent experience!

Thanks to Susan, we had an amazing ceremony without flaws. Susan was incredibly helpful in the planning process, assisting us with getting everything set up and the kinks worked out beforehand. Amazing Wedding Officiant

Reverend Susan Lee-Wright was amazing and our ceremony was everything we hoped for! My husband & I had another officiant lined up, with a different company, and 1 month before our wedding he had to back out. Personalized & Beautiful Ceremony!

Working with Perfect Day Ceremonies was a great experience from start to "I Do"! Our first meeting with Reverend Susan made us feel so comfortable, she answered all of our questions (and trust me, we had a lot!) and recognized our concerns in finding an officiant that "fit" with our personalities. She took the time to understand us as a couple and helped recommend Reverand Daniel as our officiant for the day of our wedding. The tools they have were also wonderful, making me feel like I was able to customize our readings and ceremony to exactly what we wanted without having to come up with anything totally from scratch.

We are so happy that we found Reverend Susan Lee-Wright to officiate our wedding! It is an absolute pleasure to work with Susan. She is so incredibly caring, thoughtful, thorough, and passionate. She made it so easy to work with her to create a PERFECT ceremony for us. She was incredibly detailed and organized throughout the entire process. She made everything very easy to understand and made the process of developing the ceremony with her simple and fun! She made herself freely available for any and all questions and was very responsive. She truly took the time to get to know us, both as individuals and as a couple, and developed a real relationship with us. It’s very clear in working with her that she genuinely cares about what she does. The personalized ceremony she created for us was wonderful, we wouldn’t change a thing. It was so beautiful and so tailored to us! She also made both of us feel so comfortable during the ceremony and planned every aspect of the ceremony down to the very last detail so it flowed seamlessly. A perfect “mini”mony

Exceptional experience with Susan-Lee Wright!

Susan Lee-Wright is truly exceptional at what she does. We did pre-martial counseling sessions with her, as well as the Perfect Day Ceremony package, and it's one of the best decisions we made (aside from getting married ;))! The pre-marital counseling sessions were incredibly helpful for us. Susan is a very skilled facilitator who brings both humor and compassion to her work. We heard from other couples how helpful pre-marital counseling was, but our expectations were greatly exceeded, and we ended up learning so much more about ourselves and each other (through the assessments & dialogue on individual & shared goals for the future). With the Perfect Day Ceremony package, we loved being able to customize our ceremony so it was truly authentic and meaningful for us. We got exactly what we wanted, a beautiful, meaningful ceremony and to this day I still get emotional thinking about how special it was. We received so many compliments from our small group of family & friends, not surprisingly! To have had such a wonderful ceremony during a global pandemic where our wedding had to be drastically changed/scaled down is such a gift - we are so grateful for Susan's flexibility and support in making that happen for us. Perfect is an understatement

Susan Lee-Wright... not sure I have enough words to express how absolutely wonderful she is. Two days before the wedding we had to move everything up an hour, Rev. Susan was not only accommodating but did so seemingly effortlessly. She kept us calm and excited at the same time. She was very flexible and even when I was delayed in communication, she was beyond helpful.
As for The Big Day!:
We didn’t want the “typical “ wedding ceremony, but I also didn’t want it to be tooo long that the message was lost in a wordy reading... (also, high heels lol). Rev. Susan made the ceremony one of my dreams. Actually, I could have never dreamt of such a special, meaningful, emotional & hopeful ceremony. There was a pause for deep breaths, which let’s be real, in 2020, we need these things. She helped us put into words how we already felt about one another. She is: A miracle worker!, kind, patient, loving and one supper funny Rev.! Everyone cried and laughed. All who were there said it was the most special ceremony they had ever witnessed. I am truly amazed. I will never forget our ceremony. She helped us both feel like the most fortunate humans in the universe. For that reason alone, I would truly recommend Rev. Susan Lee Wright. I am unable to adequately describe how we felt -but I bet Rev. Susan can help find the words for me ;). So grateful! 💕✨

Thank you Susan & Julie!! First, our wedding was to be on 10/10/20, but it got rescheduled! Then, on 10/18/20 it was FREEZING cold, & we had to wait for my parents for more than 15 min. Susan & Julie supported my husband and I through all of this. We can plan all we want, but ultimately things will go according to a plan beyond our control. Julie made our day & our wedding AMAZING. Susan was super sweet, very responsive and professional throughout the whole process. The various services she offered were reasonably priced in my opinion. Our experience with Susan was wonderful. We were not in town so we had to find someone remotely. From the first time we Skyped, we made our decision that Susan is the one. Later in our planning we also decided to do a premarital counseling with Susan and it was a great experience.
Through out the planning process, Susan was incredibly professional, responsive, and accommodating. She provided us a lot of information, readings, and suggestions to plan our wedding. She spent time getting to know us.
On the wedding day, Susan came early and assisted to keep the ceremony moving smoothly; her speech was wonderful, personal, very touching and we both teared up.
We will enthusiastically recommend Susan to anyone looking for an officiant or ceremony planning services.

As the name suggests, we got great value for the service provided. Julie Ann was such a kind, welcoming smile even when it felt like things were going very wrong. She was quick to improvise when our daughter made a scene and she made me feel so comfortable standing in front of all my family and friends despite my nerves.

Susan was a wonderful resource when it came to all the components that we wanted in our ceremony. She gave us just enough options without making it overwhelming. Rev. Julie Ann Schauer did a beautiful job preforming our ceremony and made it feel uniquely us. My uncle even made a point to say, "Your minister really hit it out of the park! Beautiful service". Easy to work with and accommodating

The Perfect Fit

I initially contacted Susan and affordable I do's because my husband and I had very little idea of how we wanted our ceremony to look and we wanted someone with experience and expertise to guide us in the right direction. Susan went so far beyond our expectations - she helped us plan an absolutely beautiful ceremony and tailored every part of it to fit our relationship and individual personalities! On the day of the wedding, she was there right on time meeting with everyone involved in the ceremony talking everyone through where they needed to be and when and helped everyone feel confident and excited about the event! Many of our guests first words to us during the reception were how much they enjoyed the ceremony! I cannot recommend Susan enough - our day would not have been the same without her.

Susan Was amazing and made the process stress free.

Susan was wonderful! Our Minister backed out at the last min and Susan worked us into her schedule. She was so calming and organized. We selected what we wanted said at the ceremony with her. A perfect ceremony on short notice.

Rev. Jan Joseph was our officiant and I would like to start off by saying, she was fantastic! We selected her on short notice and she was a perfect fit for our ceremony. She came well prepared and organized. We did not have the option of a wedding rehearsal the day before the wedding with our venue. For this reason, we decided to pay the optional $55 fee to have a rehearsal 90 minutes before our ceremony. It was worth every penny. Rev. Jan made sure that every person in the wedding party was prepared and knew where they had to be. When it came time for the ceremony, Rev. Jan made the whole thing run smoothly, she made it fun, and our wedding was memorable. I would highly recommend Rev. Jan Joseph to any friends or family who may be looking for an officiant in the future. The total cost was $450. If we would not have had a rehearsal, the cost would have been $395.

Susan was so nice and detailed and worked with us in getting a ceremony we liked. And she choose the perfect officiant for us: Steve Valentine. He was wonderful. People were asking how we found him. We were very pleased with our find in Rev. Susan Lee-Wright and Affordable I Do's. She was always prompt in her email responses, was easy to talk to on the phone, and provided wonderful material to work with for a couple who only had a very vague idea of what they wanted to do for a ceremony. Neither of us are religious, and we were glad with how we were able to fine tune the ceremony to suit us and what our union means to us. Emotions were running high just before the ceremony, and we greatly appreciated Rev. Susan's assistance with everything to keep the ceremony moving smoothly, including the last minute pinning on of boutonnieres. :)

Simply put Susan was amazing, we had her officiate our wedding and man were we glad we did. From the first time we saw her at our friends wedding ceremony we made sure to get her contact info to talk to her about doing our wedding too. We met and she was so nice in finding out who we were and what kind of ceremony we wanted. She was very helpful in every aspect of outline, wedding party, structure and overall theme we were going for. We met with her a few times as she really cared about our wedding and how it was going to go. She also provided some couples counseling and work packets to strengthen my wife and I's relationship. Definitely a plus to have those! The day came and we rehearsed the ceremony with her and the wedding party, she was very helpful coordinating everyone on their jobs and duties so we didn't have to. After the wedding we had so many family and friends comment to us about how beautiful the ceremony was and how well it went. We couldn't have been more thrilled to hear that and couldn't have been more glad we chose her as our officiant. Nothing but good things to say!!!

We were SO thrilled and pleased with Affordable I do's. Their ceremony planner is so easy to use and made planning our ceremony and vows feel personal and special without having to compose our own vows. They're flexible and super willing to help answer any questions and make sure you're comfortable.
Rev. Ana Lifson was our officiant and I can't say enough good about her. So many of our guests came up to us after the ceremony and asked how long we'd been friends for! They were floored when I said we'd only met in person that day and had talked on the phone only a few times. She's so warm and personable.

We took advantage of the ceremony music option, because I wanted a specific song to walk down the isle to. There were some audio glitches where the music was static-y at first. I wasn't upset, but Rev. Susan refunded our $100. I don't think they offer this option anymore, I just wanted to include the story because it shows how genuine they are about making sure your day goes smoothly.

We spent quite a bit of time looking online for wedding officiants and had amazing results from Perfect Day Ceremonies & Affordable I Do's. We first spoke with Susan on the phone to help her better understand my finance and I, and what we were looking for in an officiant. She immediately put us in touch with Anna. We connected with Anna first via email then scheduled a time to meet with her in person, as finding that connection was important to us when choosing our officiant. We truly walked away after meeting with Anna, saying “she’s the one!” – she has such a great personality and truly takes the time to get to know you as a couple so the wedding message makes sense and feels like ”you”. Both Susan and Anna were fantastic during the development of the wedding message. There are many options to choose from to ensure your selection is exactly what you’re looking for. Both were very responsive and helpful with all our questions during the process. We had many guests compliment on how great our officiant was – we ran into some rain during our outdoor ceremony and she adjusted as needed with adding some humor. Our wedding venue even asked for her info to promote to other future weddings. You can’t go wrong with using Perfect Day Ceremonies & Affordable I Do's and we highly recommend using Anna for your big day!!

We loved our experience with Affordable I Do's! I don't think there is a better value in the area for beautiful, personalized, and professional ceremony services. There were so many options (all beautiful) for the different ceremony components that truly allowed for a personalized ceremony that still felt classy, spiritual, and thoughtful. We really appreciated that they had a full set of ceremony options for same-sex weddings. It was so nice to have a spectrum of religious/spiritual language presented so we could choose what fit best for us. Susan was really responsive and great about helping us to determine which of the ceremony package and services were the right match for our needs. She did not try to up-sell at any point, and she seemed genuinely invested in meeting our needs for us to have the best experience. We also were able to include our own vows, which was important to us.

Our celebrant was Margit Lund, and she did such a beautiful job. We enjoyed meeting with her prior to the ceremony, and she was helpful, practical, and set us at ease. On the day of the ceremony, she welcomed our family and friends and made them feel welcome and comfortable while we were getting ready. She also was a calming presence for us, prior to and during the ceremony! She is committed to providing a personalized tone to the ceremonies she leads, and we certainly felt that. She conveyed the tone we wanted: personal, loving, and reverent. Our family and friends from out of state were surprised when they found out that she was not someone we knew personally because she did such a lovely job getting to know us in our two meetings and conveying that during the ceremony. One relative said that it was the most beautiful ceremony she had ever seen! We can't recommend Affordable I Do's and Margit enough.

We had the Rev. Steve Valentine as the officiant at my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. He was absolutely great. It was a perfect blend of teaching, prayer, and humor. His three (3) point message was right on target and was exactly what the bride and groom needed to hear. Afterwards, there were countless people asking who he was, how we found him, and how much the enjoyed the ceremony. Quite honestly, it could not have worked out any better. It was perfect.

My husband and I were so happy to have Andrew as the officiant for our wedding! Susan does such a great job at making every ceremony unique and personal, and immediately after speaking with her we knew we were going to be able to have the simple, easy-going ceremony that we had been imagining. Andrew was fun and professional, and made us feel comfortable even on such a nerve wracking day! Highly recommend.

We were so impressed with Reverend Wright and the services provided through Perfect Day Ceremonies & Affordable I Do's. They truly made our day feel special. Rev. Susan was amazing to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant or ceremony planning services. My husband and I come from different cultural and religious backgrounds, and the thought of putting together a singular, fusion ceremony that captured both of our beliefs in a meaningful, cohesive manner seemed overwhelming. Rev. Susan came to our initial meeting with many helpful ideas and recommendations based on her own personal experiencing officiating fusion ceremonies and made what could have been an overwhelming, stressful part of the wedding planning process meaningful and fun. With Rev. Susan's guidance and the help of Priest Jignesh from the Hindu Temple of Minnesota, we crafted a 1 hour ceremony that was a unique and beautiful expression of both me and my husband's cultural and religious backgrounds. The number one piece of feedback we received from our guests was how special our ceremony was, and we couldn't have agreed more. Rev. Susan was extremely responsive via email and flexible in scheduling meetings. We live in Chicago, and Rev. Susan was always willing to meet via Skype or work with our limited windows of availability when we were in MN. The day of our rehearsal, Rev. Susan was instrumental in keeping everyone on track and made sure that members of our wedding party who could not attend the rehearsal still knew what was going on. I cannot say enough good things about working with Rev. Susan, and would recommend her to anyone, particularly those putting together a fusion ceremony.

Susan Lee-Wright is friendly, accommodating and creative. She worked with my husband and I to put together a unique ceremony that combined both our unique visions for our wedding day. Susan was readily available to meet with us and had flexible hours to meet our needs. We loved our ceremony and everyone commented how wonderful the message was. We also used her for per-marital counseling and she was warm and professional, providing great exercises and discussion.

Affordable I Do's is wonderful. We worked with Susan who provided us with questionnaires to get a feel for our personality and then set us up with a great pastor Steve Valentine.

We custom picked our ceremony options and Steve nailed it! He was more than we could have ever hoped for. Everyone at our ceremony thought he had been our pastor for years. It was exactly like we had envisioned it to be. :)

Susan (the owner) performed our ceremony and was a fantastic resource throughout the planning process. She guided us through how to best use our awkward space and worked with us to create a custom ceremony that suited us perfectly as a couple. On the day of the ceremony, she commanded the wedding party and the crowd so that I didn't have to worry about it - which I really appreciated, because the Type A in me quickly realized that I couldn't do everything! She also brought her own PA system for a small fee so that we could play music before and after the ceremony - which was fantastic, one less thing/vendor to worry about.

I definitely recommend Susan and her team to anyone. We initially worried that not having a lifelong pastor/priest/friend to officiate would make our ceremony feel less personal, but that was not the case.

We initially met with Susan at her home office, she had a wonderful presentation and we were very impressed. We were sad to find out that she was already booked on our date, so we ended up having another officiant.... you might want to BOOK YOUR OFFICIANT early, as they book up pretty quickly! Our officiant Julie was prompt, and she also did the rehearsal at our home (we did a BBQ rehearsal dinner) the night before. She was kind, and worked with us on our premarital counseling as well. Affordable IDo's did a great job.

We used Susan for our Pre-Marital counseling, and to officiate our wedding in December. She was so easy to work with, and got back to me very quickly with any question I had. She was so professional, and directed everyone the day of. The best part was all the compliments I received on how beautiful the ceremony was, and how everyone loved how personal it was. Several people came up to me after and thought Susan was just wonderful. Thank you Susan for making our day so special!

Dwight and I just wanted to express our thanks to Pastor Steve Valentine. He greeted our family members by name on our wedding day and that really made an impression on them! Our family LOVED him, were impressed by the scripture-based sermon, and said it seemed he had known us as a couple for many years, given all of the details he included in our ceremony. We couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful, Christ-centered ceremony, which is exactly what we were looking for. We were so pleased and are grateful for the time Steve spent with us on the phone call prior to the ceremony, where we had a chance to get to know each other and he was able to learn a little about us as a couple. He even suggested a few churches we can try as we are looking for a new church home now that we are married.

Susan Wright was attentive, detail-focused, and found us the perfectly matched officiant for our wedding. She responded quickly via e-mail and phone, and took copious notes from our phone conversations. I felt as if I had known Susan previously to our phone conversations because she was so approachable and such a great listener. She has a passion for what she does!

We had Reverend Julie Ann Schauer and she was just wonderful! She was so incredibly helpful! She came a little more than half hour early (they guarantee half hour) and was immediately asking what she could do to help. She was fun and energetic and she was exactly what we were hoping for. For someone who was to play such a big role in our wedding day, we were nervous that we had not met her yet. We read reviews and everyone else seemed to like her. After meeting Rev. Schauer, we were incredibly impressed. I encourage anyone looking for an officiant, reguardless if you want a religious or spiritual or civil marriage, to go with Affordable I Dos. The price was comparable to anything else I found but they were well worth it to have our ceremony go smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Rev. Susan Lee-Wright is fabulous. She did a wonderful job at our wedding and she is so easy to work with. Susan was great to work with, responded quickly and was very helpful with choosing the vows. Rev. Dale officiated she was so pleasant very calming we had to make last minute changes because of the weather and our outdoor ceremony became an indoor ceremony and everything went just fine. Everyone asked if we wrote our own vows because they were so perfect for us. Despite the weather it was a perfect day.

Susan was perfect! She was just who we needed!

We got Susan's name from Gretchen at Bellagala - although they do not contract officiants she did hear some good things about Affordable I Do's so she pointed us in that direction. We're very grateful she did!

Susan was just as excited about our day as we were - she took the time to get to know us, communicated via email (which was SUCH a plus!) and crafted a wonderful ceremony! We were free to pick out exactly what we wanted and she graciously made suggestions on other ways we could do things if interested. We did take a lot of her great ideas. We also created our own which Susan is going to introduce as something other bride & grooms can do - Creating a Unity Candle.

Susan added heart into our ceremony - she was a very important part of our day - and she ended up a friend.
