  Candlewood Inn Wedding - Brookfield, CT

  Sandy and Tina captured our love for each other and our loved ones. During the wedding planning process, Sandy encouraged us to find ways to add special moments into our wedding day. Each moment will now be cherished for a lifetime because of the thoughtful and talented way she photographed! Sandy’s meetings along the way provided us with guidance and reassurance that helps us make decisions with confidence.
  
  Due to my unexpected very long surgery recovery, our engagement session had to be during the winter. Sandy was ready for us with a huge smile, great conversation & hand warmers to put us at ease in front of the camera. Although freezing temperatures, we loved every minute of our engagement shoot.
  
  Sandy and her time made it a point to know the other vendors and the wedding party. Building these connections in turn created a smooth and fun wedding day!
  
  I could not recommend them enough for any special occasion!!

  Traditional Italian Wedding

  Besides being professional and organized, Sandy truly understood our culture and how important it was to convey it through photography. We gave our daughter a traditional Italian Wedding, and Sandy made sure everything went smoothly from taking pre wedding photos at “Nonna’s” house to capturing the festive Tarantella dance. She helped make the day memorable.

  Simply the best

  Sandy and I go way back, at least 10 years. I grew up with Sandy photographing my high school journey through sports, band, senior pictures and graduation. When it came time to pick a wedding photographer who we picked wasn’t even a question, it HAD to be Sandy. The dedication that Sandy not only puts into her work but the time that she spends with her clients throughout the entire process is incredible, I know my day would not have ran so smoothly without her guidance and patience coordinating everyone for pictures. I know Sandy’s work so I knew our wedding pictures would be amazing but amazing is an understatement, they took my breath away, and that was just the preview! It was an honor having Sandy alongside us on our wedding day and I know she will be there again through more of life’s events. I cannot thank her enough for capturing our story and would highly recommend her again and again to anyone.

  Sandy came out of her own personal vacation to make our day extra special!
  
  She was very communicative and responsive and made planning photos for surprise proposal happen seamlessly down to coordinating right up to the moment.

  An amazing experience with Perception Photography for our daughters wedding.

  Sandy is very detail oriented. She made a list of all the people Allison wanted in her wedding album and everyone was crossed off the list.   I have known Sandy for 20 years, as she was the photographer for my wedding. At first, we were interviewing other companies who were on the cheaper side and after not falling in love with any of them, gave Sandy a call. My wife instantly fell in love with Sandy's clear knowledge and experience, and this carried through until the wedding. Everything was smooth, well-thought out beforehand, and made our wedding day simple and stress free. We had a clear plan that was created by Sandy, and it was adhered to from beginning to end. Pictures were quick and painless, and after receiving the proofs, I can say that are perfect in every way. We can not say enough incredible things about this company, anyone would be more than pleased to hire Perceptions/Sandy.

  On a day where the plan is supposed to come together smoothly, people like Sandy are there to help make sure that happens.   Truly goes above and beyond...not just a photographer!

  Sandy and her team are INCREDIBLE! They are detail-oriented, family based and really kept us on track throughout the whole day. She is not only thoughtful but she had the best suggestions for poses, scenery, and capturing the sunset and moonlight perfect. Not only was she a photographer that day but she even fixed one of my bridesmaids dresses! She was punctual, professional and I never had to worry about 1 thing on my wedding day. She never made me feel rushed but we everything fell right into place.
  
  Her pictures are creative, different and unique. When my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, she saw a picture of my younger cousin and I and had us recreate the picture, it was beautiful. She truly goes above and beyond, I would recommend her 1000 times over!

  Sandy surpassed all of our expectations from start to finish! The photos are absolutely gorgeous and we could not have asked for better documentation of our big day. What’s more is how truly wonderful it was to work with Sandy throughout the planning process, and how seamless—truly effortless on our part—she made our wedding day.

Sandy was my sister’s wedding photographer a few years ago – she did such a great job it made the choice easy for us when it came time to pick our own wedding photographer. She has a great attitude and personality (which is key as you’re with your wedding photographer all day long)! She helped us get organized with her shot list form and provided helpful insights throughout the planning process. She captured every picture we wanted and more. Our wedding plans were impacted by COVID, so we had to postpone our reception. She was so accommodating and continued to ease our stress throughout the planning process and on the day of. Our engagement pictures came out great and she even designed and printed our save the dates. We cannot thank Sandy enough for all her hard work and the beautiful job she did photographing our wedding. We’re very grateful to know such a talented, wonderful person.

  Beautiful photos; Perceptoions Photography captured our day!

  Sandy is an amazing photographer. We had an intimate wedding and she was able to capure its many hightlights. Sandy also found the perfect outdoor setting for a photo session before the actual nuptials, making the day even more special. Communicating with Sandy was easy; she was always an email or text away.   We first met Sandy when she did the photography for our close friends wedding, and when we were planning our wedding knew that we wanted to work with her. She made us feel so comfortable while also giving great directions for posing that we very much needed. She went above and beyond to make sure she provided us the service we wanted, and day of felt like having another family member there. She made a great recommendation for videographer as well and the two worked together seamlessly. Sandy did both our wedding and our engagement photos and we could not be happier with our choice!!
