Erica Peper was the perfect choice for our daughter's wedding. Not only was she super knowledgeable, creative, and on top of all the little details that can make or break a wedding, she was really fun! We loved her! We worked with Alee planning our Out of State wedding in Charleston. After exchanging emails for months, meeting her in person affirmed we'd picked the right girl! Her communication was always prompt, her attention to detail was acute, but most of all, it was her sweet disposition that provided such a calm to all of us. When morning-of weather predicted a temperature drop and steady rain, Alee implemented the rain plan that we'd hoped not to have to consider. While that could have derailed plans from a number of perspectives, Alee executed the set up in a way that was elegant and lovely and there was never a moment of stress. Her team was gracious and efficient, and from start to finish there wasn't a detail missed. Alee was a blessing on a truly magical day! -

Working with Alejandra from Peper Events was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We got married at Wingate Place in Charleston in May 2025, and Alejandra was our month-of coordinator—but she felt like so much more than that.
From the start, she was so warm, responsive, and organized. I always felt like I could reach out with any question, big or small, and she would reply quickly with thoughtful advice or a clear solution. She helped us finalize our floorplan, walked through the venue with us, and even built a detailed rain backup plan that covered things we hadn’t even considered. Her vendor recommendations were solid, and she double-checked all the contracts we had already signed just to make sure everything aligned with the venue and our timeline.
The month of the wedding, Alejandra took over all vendor communication, and I finally felt like I could breathe. At the rehearsal, she gathered all our personal items and made sure every detail was accounted for. On the wedding day, she and her assistant handled everything behind the scenes so smoothly—vendor arrivals, setup, timing, décor placement—you name it. I never once had to worry about what was happening, and I was able to be fully present with my family and friends.
She also kept our timeline flowing naturally throughout the evening, adjusting things as needed so it never felt rushed or stiff. She even made sure all of our gifts, cards, and décor were packed up at the end of the night so our family didn’t have to scramble.
If you’re getting married in Charleston and considering a planner, I can’t recommend Alejandra and Peper Events enough. She made our day so special—and completely stress-free. We’re endlessly grateful. -

Erica was absolutely amazing!! I initially wouldn’t have gotten a wedding planner but my venue required it and I’m so glad I did. Booking Erica was the best money I spent on the entire wedding. She made the entire wedding planning stress-free. She thought of every detail and was on top of everything. I was an out of town bride and only visited Charleston twice (once to pick a venue and once 3 months before the wedding) and it was a breeze. Erica recommended great vendors, helped me execute my vision and was there every step of the day. Her team that was on-site for the wedding day was amazing and went the extra mile on everything. Erica thought of every detail and allowed me to be fully present on my day and not worried about planning. I would 1000% recommend Erica to any future couples getting married. -

Having Alee from Peper Events as my day-of coordinator was a dream! Leading up the wedding, she was very communicative and helpful - answering any question or concern I had and giving me great advice. She really helped me with every little detail so that I went into the wedding without worry. Since this was a destination wedding for me, there were certain items I couldn't bring with me so she graciously brought them for me herself or let me ship them to her office. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly and that I had everything I needed at all times. She is super on top of her game and I can tell she has lots of experience through her professionalism! Besides her work ethic, she is also a super sweet and kind person to speak to and she truly cares. I worked with Alee Sanders at Peper Events for my wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made during the entire wedding planning process. Alee was outstanding! From day one, she took the time to listen and really understand my vision for the day. She created a design board with images which honed in on all the details and gave us a visual of how the space would be look and be layed out. This was so helpful and a great communication tool. Alee was so kind, professional, and incredibly organized. She was always one step ahead - handling every detail, managing vendors, and keeping everything on track. Any time we felt overwhelmed, Alee was there with reassurance, solutions, and a calming presence, which was a huge comfort.
Everything ran seamlessly on the wedding day itself. The venue was breathtaking, the timeline was followed perfectly, and every little touch felt personal and meaningful. So many of our guests told us it was one of the most well organized and beautiful weddings they had ever attended and that’s 100% thanks to Alee. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing - we just got to be present, soak it all in, and enjoy one of the happiest days of our lives.

From the moment we contacted Peper Events, I knew we had found a perfect match. Peper offers several levels of planning support to chose from. The planning process was delightful; we hit the ground running from our first contact with Jacqueline. Jacqueline's relaxed yet confident demeanor set the tone for a very collaborative planning process. She managed all aspects efficiently and promptly addressed any inquiries, ensuring she followed up to provide the information we needed. Although we had a few general ideas about the wedding, we valued Jacqueline's input on the design the most. She was so forthcoming on how and where to apply our budget. From the beginning, we placed our trust in Jacqueline. We along with our guest were blown away with how perfect the day was! Despite the buried Bourbon, rain and cooler temps ( 3/9) became an issue week of the wedding and ultimately came down to a day of rain plan execution. People tend to forget the "rain plan" because they choose to block it out. I wish I had contacted Jacqueline earlier in the week; during our conversation, she remained as calm as she was on day one and alleviated all our concerns. The rain held off until the end of the wedding event! ( we never found the buried bourbon so it seems it worked)
Jacqueline, Peper Events, far exceeded our expectations! She flawlessly brought our wedding vision to life! The wedding was absolutely perfect.

When my venue first told me that having a wedding planner was mandatory I was honestly taken aback at first. I consider myself to be very organized and efficient and really felt like I could do most of the planning on my own. Man, was I wrong! There are a lot of aspects of wedding planning that only a professional planner can help you with and I felt extremely lucky to work with Alee for the 10 months leading up to my wedding. She was always available and prompt with any questions I had as well as extremely organized. Multiple people in our wedding party commented on how smooth our wedding day and it was 100% because of Alee. I never felt stressed throughout this process because of Alee’s calm presence that was always there as a sounding board. I got extremely overwhelmed during our reception and Alee even sat with me for 5 minutes just to calm down and help me finish the night. I would recommend Alee, and Peper Events, to anyone looking for a wedding planning company that makes you feel like the center of attention and values each day. -

Alejandra was incredible as our "month of" planner for our wedding. She was in touch with me throughout the process and truly helped my vision come to life for our special day. She coordinated all of our rentals (coming from multiple rental companies), catering, bar, reception layout, among so many other finer details! She asked great questions about things I hadn't given any thought to, but were important things to consider -- things only a wedding planner could have on their radar. On our day of, Alejandra kept us on our timeline, and was ever present, but never overbearing. She guided us gently through each transition of our evening, allowing us to soak in our special day as much as possible. She and Jaqueline worked behind the scenes on our wedding day, too -- I brought some glow sticks I bought on a whim and didn't have a plan for and they took the time to crack all of them and pass them out to our guests during the reception and made it so fun! I *HIGHLY* recommend Peper Events and would choose them over and over again! -

We were blessed to have Alejandra as our Day Of Coordinator and she was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, she was professional yet personal, educational in a kind way, timely, responsive (and patient when I was not quite as responsive), and most importantly (in my opinion), warm. She helped comfort me when I was feeling anxious and warmly nudged me in the right direction when I needed it. That stood out to me, and I appreciated her a lot for it. She is very organized and on top of everything. From the first time we met at our venue, even the staff at our venue sang her praises and told stories of how she pulled off the impossible. She was there to organize but let us do our own thing when we didn't necessarily want to stick to the timeline. My wife and I are kind of free spirited and she went with it. We weren't happy with the color of some of our linens and she pulled some strings to get us the right ones last minute on a Sunday. She brought us drinks right after the ceremony, made us plates of food so we could eat, stayed close in case we needed something or had a question, but also gave us space. I could go on and on. Alejandra is amazing and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! -

We hired Erica Peper from Peper Events after her name was passed along by a friend in the business. WOW! This was one of the best decisions that we made in planning our son's wedding. Erica handled everything necessary and made sure that the day ran smoothly. We used her full planning service, and she adeptly organized all of the vendors for the bride and groom, adjusting and communicating everything in a timely manner. I asked a lot of questions, and while they may have been off topic at times, she was so professional in all of her responses. On the wedding day, she had everything moving like clockwork; I could not have imagined everything being so perfect! -

The best day of coordinator a girl could ask for!
I got married this past April and used Jacqueline as my Day of Coordinator. She went above and beyond! Her communication and professionalism were amazing and I was so lucky to have her as a part of the wedding day. She was in contact with all of my vendors about a month before the wedding to ensure everyone was ready and organized. If I had any concerns or questions for a vendor within that timeframe she handled that for me. Day of, Jacqueline and her team made sure the day went seamlessly with my wishes in mind. My husband and I had the best wedding day thanks to her. I even broke a glass on the dance floor and Jacqueline made it disappear like magic within seconds. I was very impressed by the entire team at Peper Events, specifically our first contact Jacqueline Noto. We hired her and her team for month-of coordination, but they were with us from the day one. She quickly replied to emails, was available for any phone call, and made sure our day went smoothly. She attended our walk through and took very detailed notes (which we went over again for a planning meeting the week of the wedding) and then contacted all vendors to make sure everything was in place for wedding day. On the day of the wedding, I was relieved to not have to worry about any details as I knew everything was in great hands. If something went wrong, I was blissfully unaware because of the time and attention Jacqueline gave our wedding. I was very impressed and could not recommend Peper Events enough. We are so glad that Erica of Peper Events was recommended to us! We gave our daughter the wedding of her dreams-without all the stress and sticker shock usually associated with hosting a big wedding. We knew from our first phone call that she was a perfect match. Erica worked diligently to bring all our visions and ideas to life and was always reliable, timely, professional, and kind. She helped us to prioritize and splurge on our most important things while saving in other areas, something that was very important to us. She accurately estimated the costs at the very beginning, kept us on track with a detailed timeline, and had the very best connections for quality vendors. Alee from Peper Events supported me and helped me through long-distance planning of our wedding in Charleston. Leading up to the wedding and during the wedding, Alee was always available and paid close attention to detail. If you are looking for a wedding event planner in Charleston, look no further! Jacqueline with Peper Events is absolutely fantastic, and we cannot more highly recommend her.
My husband and I held a destination wedding celebration at the William Aiken House in Charleston after postponing and ultimately canceling our previous wedding and reception due to the pandemic. Jacqueline made planning a destination wedding easy and stress free. She was quick to respond to questions and concerns, stayed in close communication with our venue/vendors, and had a perfect solution for everything that came up. She gave great advice regarding layout/seating arrangement decisions, facilitated sharing a major rental item with another couple, and even drove to our hotel the afternoon of our rehearsal to drop off a box we needed.
The day of the wedding, Jacqueline seamlessly guided set up and wedding day activities, which included an off site first look -- all while magicking a spot out of my wedding dress! I was able to be totally present with my family and friends for the entire experience as she took care of everything.
