I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Christine & her team at Peony Designs Studio.
From our very first interaction via email, she responded extremely fast and was able to set up an in person meeting very quickly. At our first meeting, she made me feel SO much better about wedding planning. She pulled up my pinterest board and began pulling out samples that matched my vision to a T. From there on out, she was able to work with my budget and was extremely accommodating.
On my wedding day, the first time I cried that day was when I saw my flowers. They were better than my pinterest board or anything I could have dreamed up. They were truly perfection! I couldn't have asked for a better florist & now a friend! Christine is so so sweet and a kind, genuine person. Hiring Peony Designs Studio for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. When we first chatted and I expressed what I was looking for, she spent the time to develop a detailed price estimate with photos so I could see every flower/green she was planning on using. Simply the best!
I have to admit, I knew very little about flowers going into our wedding. But now I know soe much thanks to Christine's patience, meticulousness and passion for flora. From the first meeting with her, where we went over extremely specific details (down to the flower girl crown), I knew we'd have a stunning wedding. And we were totally right! They say that rain is good luck on your wedding day, and so it poured like no other day on ours. In so many ways, it was a blessing in disguise, beginning with our florist Christine. Incredible Passion and Work
When we started looking into wedding vendors, we visited a couple of wedding shows and every florist we talked to blew us off. Then we met with Christine from Peony Design Studio and at the show she pulled us aside and asked us to explain what we might want for our wedding. My wife is Samoan and we live in New York and were getting married in the fall so we wanted to combine some of those tropical flowers with the deep fall colors of New York. Christine listened to us and didn’t interrupt and when we were done she said that it sounded amazing and she thought she could do it.
We met with Christine a little while later and she broke down every part of the reception and ceremony, asking our opinions on color, flower, and décor. She showed us examples and explained anything we didn’t understand. After that meeting, we were sold. The care and level of detail she showed proved this to be a passion and the work she and her team did was impressive.
The ceremony and the reception were a dream. Peony Design took our vision and turned it into a reality and then expanded on it 10 times over. The level of detail was incredible, the colors were perfect, and the décor filled and complimented the space beautifully. Everyone at the wedding was blown away. They couldn’t believe how beautiful everything was. Even the Venue complimented the work and how it brought so much complimentary life to the amazing space. We could not be happier with the work Peony Design did and how kind and easy to work with everyone was throughout the entire process.

Aced the Romance!
Christine at Peony Design Studio was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with! She came highly recommended and after working with her; I now know why! I had a vision that Christine took the time to listen to and truly understand. I wanted a heavy emphasis on candles for the centerpieces mixed with soft florals throughout. I saved a lot on Pinterest and gave her access to get a better idea of my thought process for the look. Christine put together a comprehensive floral plan with breakdown of every single flower/item used so i was able to get a great idea of what I was paying for as well as the overall look. She also met me at my venue a few months before the wedding to offer a mock-up of the centerpieces and ensure we got them right. She was easy to talk to and I truly loved bouncing ideas off her as her opinion mattered to me as the expert in the field. She even allowed me to send other decor items directly to her and her team included them in the initial set up which helped greatly on day of. She was a great support and even for all the changes that were made leading up to the day - Christine and her team nailed it! My florals were different than what everyone is used to and the candles centerpieces set the romance tone for the entire night. I absolutely loved working with her and you will not be disappointed if you do as well!

Now that the madness has shushed down to a calm murmur, I wanted to send out a huge thank you for the charming bouquets! THEY WERE JUST EXQUISITE!!! I couldn’t believe so many of my favorite textures and colors could be combined together in such elegance! I offered the table arrangements for guests to bring home with them but wound up bringing 5 of the ceramic vases and 2 of the metal vases with me and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. Christine was such a pleasure to work with. She understood exactly what I wanted for my bridal bouquet and worked within my budget to create such beautiful flowers that were also easily repurposed for our sweetheart table florals. For guest centerpieces we did eucalyptus leaves and rented pillar candles and glass votives from her as well. Everything looked so beautiful and I am blown away with how gorgeous the flowers were. I loved them so much that I'm having my bridal bouquet preserved!

Highly recommend Peony Design Studio!
Christine was so a helpful and patient when it came to our wedding planning! We had two postponements and a venue change and this florist stayed with us through it all. We trusted her judgement, only giving her vague ideas of what we were looking for, and she was able to come up with gorgeous floral arrangements featuring the colors and flower types we described. These arrangements included two different types of centerpieces for our tables, a sweetheart table arrangement, and bride and bridal party bouquets/boutonnieres. Additionally, Christine used the flowers that would have been for our ceremony (which we decided not to have the day of reception) and created pieces that dressed up photographs we had displayed in our reception hall--it really added something unique to our wedding! Peony Design Studio is a floral company you can trust to get the job done right, and Christine is just the kind of person you want to work with when it comes to what can be the stressful process of planning a wedding. Great value as well.

Where do I begin.. from moving our wedding 3 times due to corona Christina was BEYOND accommodating and flexible with rescheduling 3 times. I came to her with a vision over a year before our wedding, she made a contract that included every single detail of every bouquet, boutonnière, centerpiece and other flower arrangement for me to see exactly what I was getting. The details in the packet were AMAZING. I felt like I knew exactly what I would be getting... to say she brought my vision to life is an understatement. She went above and beyond to make everything perfect. It was beyond my wildest dreams and I still can’t believe how exact she was. She was prompt and on time, she went out of her way to travel to my house to make drop offs and then to the venue over an hour away. Peony Designs came highly recommended to me by an old friend who also used Christine and her team for her wedding a few years ago. From our initial 1 hour meeting, Christine and her husband totally understood my vision! She had forewarned me that due to her busy season of July/August, it would be about 1 month until I received her proposal and estimate. Once I did receive it (which was on time), I was amazed at the amount of work and detail Christine puts into just providing a quote and plan. No wonder she needed the time! I received a menu of options that both met my budget and slightly exceeded it, so I was able to understand and review every part of my wedding and what it cost. Christine was fleixible in revising certain aspects of the plan to edit some of my original ideas. Let’s just say, I had inquired with three other florists who did not meet my budget nor expectations, and did not provide the slightest attention to my wedding as much as Christine did.
On our wedding day (May 31, 2019), I was stunned! Our wedding flowers were beautiful, and I was so happy with the way everything turned out! The flower arch over the gondola for our ceremony far exceeded my expectations, and looked so beautiful and lush as we got married underneath it. My bouquet, and everything was simply gorgeous. Christine and her team worked so hard that day - throughout the day I remember seeing them on and off still working away at all the little details. Peony Designs truly understood our vision and budget, and I'm so thankful for that. We cannot thank you enough for making our dreams a reality on the best day of our lives!

From the first day I met with Christine I knew she could articulate what I was trying to describe as my vision for our wedding. When she sent me the inspiration board with examples, I knew it was perfect! She was so easy to work with, always responding quickly and with helpful tips, and made the whole process go so smoothly. My guests were in awe of the ceremony decor and the centerpieces, as the purples that she used popped with so much color. Christine asked us what our budget was, and made suggestions how we could get the most "bang for our buck" Our flower girl loved her flower crown so much, she refused to take it off all weekend. Christine and her team were fantastic! We brought our idea to several florists and received half-hearted reactions. Christine grabbed it by the horns and brought her own creative twist to both the design and execution! She remained a fair and honest partner throughout the process, bringing us ideas and being honest when something would add cost without adding to the end product. Her pricing was extremely competitive, and she brought a lot of value, thought, and insight into everything we did. I don’t even know where to start. Christine was beyond amazing!! She understood everything I was looking for from the first meeting. My fiancé came with me and he can be a bit overwhelming. He knows exactly what he wants and he doesn’t mind asking for it, she was so great with him. Answered every single question, made us a mood board with all of my inspiration photos, ideas she had for certain bouquets and tables. Everything looked great on paper. Christine far exceeded my expectations. Two days before the wedding I had a few surprises as far as wedding planning went and I had to email Christine with multiple changes. She was helpful, made plenty of suggestions and options. I was so thankful. Wedding day came, she delivered my bouquets and then asked if I wanted a sneak peek of the venue. Everything looked beautiful only half set up, I couldn’t wait to see the whole set up. A few hours later I walked into my cocktail hour and was overwhelmed with excitement at how beautiful everything was, just by pictures and me telling her what I “think” I liked. Christine nailed everything!!! She worked with our budget, my OCD fiancé and my last minute changes. If you want a florist who will give you exactly what you’re looking for even when you don’t know what that is, you want Christine with Peony Designs. You will not be disappointed. I would recommend Peony Designs to everyone!! Christine is a true professional and expert in the industry. I gave her a few ideas about what I wanted and she created a vision board reflecting exactly what we wanted. I had an indian wedding, and Christine turned the pergola into a beautiful mandap.

She was the best vendor for my wedding team! Christine is simply amazing! My husband and I went into our first meeting being completely clueless about what kind of flowers we wanted, and left with us (both!) being really excited about our flower choices! Christine took our very basic ideas of wanting wildflowers and orchids and turned them into stunning reality. The bouquets and centerpieces were the gorgeous pops of color we wanted for our wedding, and she personally delivered them to our venue on the wedding day - an hour and a half away. Although the rain forced us to move our ceremony inside, the beautifully decorated arch, mason jars of wildflowers, and flowers on our cake made it feel like springtime had simply followed us inside the venue. Not only did she put together everything as promised, but, best of all, Christine was wonderful and so sweet to work with throughout the process! She was genuinely interested in our opinions and our thoughts, and worked with us on all of our ideas and last minute changes. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of a florist for any event!

I had the best experience working with Christine! She is an expert in her field and was so professional and warm when replying to my questions and giving her suggestions. We arrived to our meeting at my venue with a vision board and samples which I LOVED! Really brought everything together for me. Our 4/28/18 wedding was in the tent at the Grandview and our flowers, centerpieces, and arbor decorations were exactly as described and more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined in person. Christine and her team did a beautiful job! We communicated through emails in advance and did a venue tour just prior to the big day. She put together a very cool inspiration board that met just what I asked for. The venue flowers (ceremony decor and centerpieces) were delivered/setup right on time the day of and the bouquets etc. arrived where we were all getting ready as requested. When I opened the box and saw my bouquet I started crying, it was so beautiful! Christine was very respectful of my budget and made it look like I'd spent double what we paid! I absolutely love Christine and her work!!!!! She was amazing throughout the whole wedding process. Christine was understanding when I had to move the wedding date unexpectedly. She came with a vision board and discuss every last detail with my fiancé and I. Peony Design Studio provided all decor for my ceremony, centerpieces for my tables and head table, and all the bouquets and boutonnières. All were beautifully done. Christine was fabulous!! When we started planning, we just wanted centerpieces and some ceremony decor on a budget. Christine worked with us to make it all work and look beautiful. A couple months out from the wedding, my mom wanted a traditional Indian wedding stage. Christine went above and beyond to get this vision to work out for us. She is super prepared. She made a vision board that she brought with her to every meeting with us that she updated. She mailed me samples of the tulle fabric used on the stage. When a small snafu arose (someone returned the structure damaged beyond repair) having to do with the structure (like a chuppah) the day before the wedding, Christine called with options on how to still make it work. I don't know what the original was supposed to look like, but the solution looked perfect to me!! I cannot recommend her enough.

My mom and I met Christine at a bridal show and we knew right away she was the perfect person for our flowers. Our wedding in October was on Halloween and Christine was so excited and imaginative after just meeting us that I knew she would go above and beyond for the wedding and that is just what she did. She was willing to meet us at our venue in Saugerties to really explore the space which helped our vision come to life. The bridal party bouquets were perfect and I cannot put into words how beautiful my bridal bouquet was. Where do I begin? I met with Christine at a bridal expo with my cousin when she was looking for a florist for her wedding. It was just a great feeling from the start and I knew when it was my time I would defiantly be using her. She was amazing and her work was outstanding! I also referred her to my Mother-in-law for her wedding. Christine is down to earth, easy to talk to, and open minded. I waited until the last minute to find a florist, and I was very nervous I wouldn't find someone qualified. I am so glad that I was wrong! Christine was AMAZING. She made the entire process so easy. She knew exactly what I wanted, sometimes even better then I did! When I was near a nervous breakdown from all the decisions I had to make, she made everything so easy. When it got to the wedding day, I was so blown away at how it all came together. It was so beautiful, and I received so many compliments about how my theme truly showed through all the decor throughout the entire event. And although my ceremony had to be held inside due to weather, it still looked flawless. She was able to take my scattered thoughts and put them into a beautiful cohesive plan. When I met with Christine I had no idea what type of bouquet I wanted for my wedding. I knew only a few things that I liked but couldn't figure out how they could be mixed together. She had asked me to bring a few pictures of arrangements that I liked and from these she discussed the common themes she saw, similar styles of flowers that are in season/available (as it was a winter wedding not everything was). She was kind and took my interests to heart. She was very responsive to emails and phone calls and arrived on time for our in person meetings. Her creativity blew me away. After getting a lot of "I don't knows" and "you need to be specifics" Christine made me so relaxed. I needed to bounce ideas around and she was willing to do that. She was very excited and encouraging throughout the process. And my bouquet was beautiful!

From the first time I met Christine, similarly to many reviewers, I knew she would be my florist. It is evident and obvious upon meeting her that she is a skilled , talented, and creative florist. Before even giving her any money, she did a tremendous amount of work for me. She came up with ideas, made a inspiration board, and met with me a few times to discuss. She was so flexible and willing to give me her time, which I thought was incredible.
Soon after going into contract, Christine kept in touch throughout our engagement. She and her husband even visited the venue with us! She makes the experience so personal and gives you all her attention. I felt truly special and she treated me like a very important Bride.
The day my wedding came, Christine personally delivered the flowers to my hotel room with her husband. She is such a loving and warm person. This is a clear example as to how she runs her business. I was so happy to see her on my wedding day!
Lastly, when I walked into the venue I nearly cried. To see all the plans come to life, Christine truly made my dreams come true. She executed so many beautiful details and the flowers were incredible! She really did a phenomenal job. I gave her the leverage to improvise and do what she needed to so the room would be grand and she did just that. I was so comfortable with giving Christine this flexibility because she is so incredible.
I am sad to say that my wedding is now over and I will truly miss working with Christine. This past year has been SUCH A PLEASURE!! She is a gem and I highly recommend you hire her as your florist. You will be in the best hands!

Christine is willing to work with any budget, big or small, drive to meet you in person close to your home, and is extremely flexible. I was a bride with a small budget and she was extremely accommodating. I even changed my wedding entirely about 5 months before the event- (wedding date, location, everything)- and this was not a problem for her. Christine was so friendly and pleasant to work with she did an awesome job at creating what I had invisoned for my bouquet. She also did my center pieces and personally delivered my flowers to me.highly recommended.

I absolutely loved Peony Design Studio! I met the owner, Christine at a bridal show and fell in love with her work. She was professional and creative and just a nice person all the way around! She made things convenient for me by always meeting with me at a business that was close to my house so that I never had to travel far. She was very helpful and honest in our discussions about my flower choices. She had great ideas... I gave her a vision of what I wanted for my table centerpieces and she created the most beautiful thing and thanks to her my tables looked amazing! My ceremony flowers were absolutely beautiful and my bouquets were gorgeous! She helped me complete my ideas and made them beautiful! Peony Design Studio did an amazing job with all of the flowers for our wedding and helped to make our day absolutely beautiful! Love them!!!

AMAZING!! This is the florist you should book for your wedding...hands down!! Christine is absolutely a pleasure to work with. I met her at a bridal show at Anthony's Pier 9 and we instantly clicked...I knew she would be my florist. She listened to my ideas and ran with it! Everything was beautiful from the bouquets, to the ceremony flowers, to the reception centerpieces...so gorgeous! She was so excited to work with me which was a great feeling and not to mention the price is pretty good! A different florist quoted me almost twice the amount. All of our guests would not stop raving about the beautiful flowers! If you want gorgeous flowers at a great price and someone who is a pleasure to work with and makes everything simple for you then choose Peony Design Studio!

Christine was great! She was so nice, friendly & very easy to talk to. She always met up with me close to my home for my convenience. She always had a smile on her face. She was so enthusiastic about my ideas. She had great ideas of her own. I got a very good vibe from her upon meeting her at a bridal show. She always kept in contact with me, followed up with me & always responded quickly to my emails. She stayed within my budget. I was very happy with how everything turned out at my wedding. She went above & beyond for me & I don't think any other florist would have done what she did & I appreciated that very much. I would highly recommend her.

We loved our flowers and got so many compliments on our wedding day. I LOVED the personal feel of working with this team, and it made my decision making process extremely easy that they put together boards for me so that I could visualize each bouquet, centerpiece and corsage. I had some non-traditional requests that they accommodated. We never located our cake flowers at the venue, but that was a minor detail that we didn't decide to call about (as the cocktail hour was already underway), and the venue helped resolve, so net-net no issues!

Christine did a great job on our flowers and stuck to our budget. She was very good at listening and determining exactly what we wanted. The room looked beautiful. My bouquet was gorgeous. Many of the flowers from the bouquets and centerpieces are still alive after 2 weeks!
