Peony & Blush Makeup was awesome! Kimtsy and her team are very professional, and do great work. I was so excited to find a vendor who did hair and makeup. Most people could only offer one service. Kimtsy made it fast and easy. She was great with answering questions, and quick to reply to emails. My bridal hair and makeup looked beautiful, and lasted all night. She knew exactly what products would work with my skin, and made me feel amazing. I even had 8 girls who needed services, and she was able to accommodate them all. I will definitely use her again!!

Kimtsy is an absolute dream to work with!! Not only did she do my makeup perfectly for my wedding day she dealt with my last minute requests to change lip color/ hair style on the day and nailed it. Working with Peony and Blush was an absolute dream. I was lucky enough to find them through a friend who was married ~10 months prior to our big day. Her hair and makeup were beautiful - as were her bridesmaids' hair and makeup. When I reached out to Peony and Blush, Kimtsy got back to me right away with availability. My mom and I ended up scheduling a hair trial with Jessica and we were blown away with how incredible she is. She looked at a few inspo pics and went to work. And OMG was it beautiful. On the big day, Jessica was able to do my hair in addition to multiple bridesmaids and it was easily my favorite part of the entire bride "look" and same with the bridesmaids + moms. On top of all of this, she was SO kind and she truly cares about her work product. I felt beyond beautiful on the day of the wedding. I owe the majority of this feeling to Peony and Blush. Kimtsy and Jessica were amazing to work with. They went above and beyond from the start, by accommodating my hair and makeup trial in the morning before our engagement shoot (on a day they don't typically set aside for trials) in the middle of the busiest wedding season ever. They are very talented, punctual, and friendly. I enjoyed their company and our conversation as much as their impeccable eye for detail and style. On the day of the wedding they also went above and beyond, persisting until they could tell I was genuinely happy with everything as I was working through day-of jitters (and as someone who is not used to getting professional hair + makeup done and all of the communication that goes along with that). A dream to work with!
Kimtsy was amazing and my makeup (and that of all my bridesmaids!) was perfect. My biggest concern was staying power, since it's the problem I have when I apply my own makeup, and Kimtsy's makeup was there to STAY. I cried three separate times during the night, and my makeup was still looking flawless at 11 pm. She was very responsive, and I found her prices to be competitive compared to the other vendors I was considering even when factoring in the travel fee out to the desert. Cannot recommend enough!

We had the best experience with Peony & Blush! Kimtsy was a dream to work with. She was responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She was able to capture my vision for hair and makeup and made the experience wonderful. Her calm and personal demeanor helped make our wedding day even more enjoyable. At the last minute I wanted to add on my mother and sister for makeup and Kimtsy was able to make that possible while keeping our timeline reasonable. She came to my home to do a trial, which was ideal and made my life so much easier. She used wonderful products and made me feel as though I was basically getting a facial before my makeup was applied. I was in love with my hair and makeup for my wedding day and wouldn't have changed one thing. Kimtsy also provided a touch up kit for me which was extremely helpful. Her team was kind, professional, timely and all around wonderful. Overall I cannot recommend Kimtsy and Peony & Blush enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Peony & Blush and I highly recommend them! I live on the East Coast, but my wedding was in my home state of CA. Because I was planning my wedding from across the country, flexibility was a big deal for me since I had to fly in for the big day. Peony & Blush was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, from scheduling services with Lisa to meeting with Kimtsy for a trial and on the wedding day. Kimtsy did both my hair and makeup.
Originally I wanted an updo hairstyle since I was getting married on the beach and Kimtsy beautifully put together my vision in the trial. Since my trial was the day before my wedding, we took the bun down and left my hair in a half updo so my fiancé wouldn't see my wedding day style; however, we ended up loving the half updo so much that I decided to ask for that style on my wedding day! I was worried that my hair being down would get frizzy being so close to the ocean, but Kimtsy ensured I wouldn't have that problem with the right hair products. My makeup and hair stayed beautiful all day and overall I was so thankful for Kimtsy's services! She and her team are the best - hire them today!

AMAZING makeup experience for a complete makeup novice
The Peony & Blush Makeup team was incredibly wonderful to work with. Kimtsy was my makeup artist, she really takes time to listen to your vision, reviews your inspo images, and makes suggestions based on your complexion to achieve the look. I'm someone who has a simple routine and wears little to no makeup, Kimtsy took that into consideration and made several adjustments to ensure I was comfortable in the products she was applying. My makeup lasted all night! Through the afternoon heat, photos, a ton of dancing, and even more hugs and kisses. Kimtsy and her team are super organized, professional, responsive when you have questions and amazing to be around on your big day. Such great energy! I cannot recommend Kimtsy and her team highly enough! They were such a dream to work with. Kimtsy and I clicked right away and literally laughed until I was crying. She has a ton of experience and made my wedding party and myself feel like goddesses. My mom was actually hesitant about getting her makeup done since she's never had it done professionally before, and the next day my mom was asking if we could have Kimtsy come back to get rid of her dark circles haha!Tiffany did our hair and is a pro! She makes the most intricate braids and twists, yet takes no time at all. I don't know how she does it! I have very fine hair that doesn't hold curls very well, but somehow her curls held all night and into the next few days. I highly recommend these ladies for any event!

Kimsty, Dominique, and the rest of the team helped my wedding day to come out perfect! All my bridesmaids hair and makeup came out exactly how they wanted and lasted for the whole day! My wedding HMUA experience with Kimtsy
I absolutely love love love Kimtsy! I met her by chance through another photoshoot where she did my makeup and I decided to last minute switch my wedding hair and makeup artist to her because I loved how she did my makeup so much. From the minute we met, I found her very warm and easy to talk to, and she was able to give me the exact look I wanted. She looked carefully at my reference pictures and was able to find the vibe I wanted that worked for my features. She was perfect for my big day!! I loved how I looked so much I didn’t want to take my makeup off or take my hair down. She went above and beyond! She did this wonderful toner and primer to make sure my face was perfect for the foundation, and she even came to my venue to help me with last minute touches. Kimtsy and her team are incredible and I could not recommend them more! Kimtsy wasn't the one to do my actual hair and makeup, but she was so easy to communicate with! We had over 80 email exchanges between my first inquiry and my wedding day, and Kimtsy was always very responsive, patient, and professional. She truly made things easy on me during an uncertain time due to Covid and she always accommodated my questions and any changes with ease and grace. Jessica was the one who did my hair for my wedding and she was beyond incredible! She has the best personality, shows up early, and is extremely talented! I absolutely loved how she did my hair. We did a trial a few months before my wedding day, which I highly recommend to everyone. Jessica also did my mom and sister's hair, as well as my four nieces. Each person's hair was a little different and Jessica just asked them a question or two about what they wanted, and then she ran with it. She did such a wonderful job and she also works at such a fast pace (she was way ahead of schedule all day). Kimtsy (makeup) and Domonique (hair) were both so lovely and fun to work with. I had a blast creating my wedding look with them both. They traveled to my home for the trial which made it so convenient for me and were so flexible with any changes that I wanted to make. They were both prompt and very professional during out trial and on the wedding day. My hair/MU along with all the bridesmaids turned out absolutely stunning and stayed perfect all night!! I could not recommend Kimtsy and her team enough! My husband and I eloped in February 2021 and I was so lucky to have been referred to her via our photographer’s recommendations when I had a planning snafu for my hair/makeup about a week and a half before our elopement.
To say I was stressed when I reached out to Kimtsy would be an understatement but she immediately put my mind at ease. She was so warm and friendly and super responsive! I booked her and her hair artist Tiffany that same day.
Both of them were extremely prompt the morning of and had everything they needed to help me get ready. It was just my husband and I on our elopement day, however, I felt like I had two friends with me because the morning was relaxing and fun! Kimtsy definitely knows how to keep nerves at bay and I can’t thank her enough for making me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I was ready right on time and she went above and beyond by helping me get into my dress and even capturing a surprise video of our first look.
My hair and makeup looked amazing and both her and Tiffany captured exactly how I wanted to look. Kimtsy took her time to make sure my dry skin was perfectly prepped and when she was done it felt like I had no makeup on! My usual crease prone under eyes did not crease and she made sure to blend my makeup down to where my dress neckline was. I was sad to have to wash my makeup away but I was able to extend the life of my hair for about five days after the ceremony, I think Tiffany gave me one of the best blowouts I’ve had!

A few months before my wedding I found Kimtsy through Instagram. As you can imagine I was stressing because usually makeup and hair artists are booked way in advance but I’m sooooooo thankful that Kimtsy was available for my wedding day!!! She was always incredibly helpful, patient and kind to this stressed out bride!! She helped me find Katie to do my hair!! If you’re looking for amazing quality and personalized experience then look no further!! My makeup looked absolutely perfect! Kimtsy really nailed the look that I wanted and was so patient with me to help me perfect the look I wanted! She helped me stay so calm on my wedding day. Simply amazing
I found Kimtsy through my photographers Instagram. I checked out her work and she and her team did amazing work! I booked her as soon as we had our date set. I was nervous cuz I wasn’t gonna do a bridal trial but my photographer has worked with her many times and assured me that she would do a wonderful job and she did!!! She picked colors that worked with my skin tone, asked what colors we were doing for the wedding and came up with the perfect makeup for my big day. I literally can’t brag about her enough! My bridesmaids looked amazing, she was on time, fun to work, and she’s just an all around doll. Definitely go with Peony Blush makeup for your big day💗

Kimtsy and her team are incredible. We felt incredibly beautiful, I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. My girls and myself received compliments all night on our makeup. The girl has got serious talent! I’ve had my make up done many many times and I am very particular. She played up all my natural features and is so up to trend. She was so incredibly sweet and upbeat! She is the most amazing person. She gave a mini facial and relaxing experience before putting my make up on and prepped my skin so well. My make up lasted 15+ hours and not kidding- did not fade. She even stuck around to blow bubbles for my bridal shoot with my bridesmaids. Forever grateful for her!!

Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough good things about Kimtsy! I was in need of a makeup artist last minute for my micro-wedding and fate literally brought us together! Fantastic Makeup Artist!
Kimsty did an AMAZING job on my bridal makeup. I have pretty bad rosacea and don’t wear much makeup normally, so getting my makeup done kind of scared me. Kimsty came with her diffuser and makeup chair and made me feel super comfortable. She eased my nerves and did a wonderful job. She covered my rosacea and gave me the soft, natural look I wanted for my big day. She even applied individual lashes to make me feel more comfortable. I was amazed with how beautiful I looked. She was professional, friendly, and was very good at communicating. It was a great experience on such a memorable day.

Words can never cover how grateful I am for kimtsy. She is amazing at what she does. She is y only good but you can truly tell this is her passion. Most humble woman i have met. She is so vibrant and has that positive energy. She is very detailed with her work and makes sure the finished product is what you want. She did my wedding day makeup and I cried with the reaction I had. Then had to stop because i did not want to ruin it. She uses nothing but good products. I have sensitive skin, I had no irritations. I was married on June 27, 2020!
Kimtsy is very personable and kind! She is also a very good listener. I loved getting my makeup done by her. She made me look so beautiful on my wedding day without making me look like a different person. I still looked like myself but more enhanced in a natural and beautiful way. Same with my sister, mom and friend who were getting ready with me on my wedding day! She did their makeup and they all just looked so beautiful and not overly done up! I know my mom and sister were nervous about makeup as well, because they were worried about looking like different people with too much makeup, but they were pleasantly surprised and happy when they saw their overall looks. She can definitely do all the glitz and glam if you like as well, but she really nailed it with the more simple and natural makeup looks! Natural Glam! We all left feeling like our most confident versions of ourselves and just so pretty!! I found Kimtsy on Wedding Wire and set up a trial with her back in August, then hired her for my wedding day in February. I talked her through what I was hoping for, and my goodness, did she deliver! Kimtsy is incredibly professional, but also so incredibly kind - I loved working with her. Kimtsy is such a talented MUA!! I am someone who does not wear make-up in her daily life AT ALL so I knew I would need help on the day of my wedding. I didn't want to look cakey or like I was wearing pounds of make-up but I knew I wanted to look good! Kimtsy did just that! She made me look FLAWLESS. I LOVE Kimsty!! In the wedding world, I was late on booking someone to do my make up and luckily she was available! She was able to do my trial the morning of if my bridal shower so it worked out perfect! I have acne and acne scarring which isn’t easy to cover and my skin looked amazing. Eyeshadow was amazing. Wedding day, my makeup was perfect and lasted all night. Kimsty didn’t leave until it was exactly how I wanted. I accidentally overpaid her on the day of the wedding and she Venmo’s me the money back the next day. That’s a true gem of a person right there.

Oh my goodness I loved her so much! It honestly felt like another friend was in the room when I was getting ready for my wedding. She was so easy to work with and fun and helped up my energy for the day! After showing her a few examples of what I was looking for at my trial run she brought to life exactly what I wanted, and worked with me along the way if I wanted anything changed. Even the day-of we still changed my lip coloring and she was awesome about it. It was all about me feeling and looking the way I wanted and she made sure I was happy before she called it done. It was so important to me to find someone I could trust to do my makeup on a day that I would remember forever. I’m so happy I found Kimtsy to be that person! I first found Kimtsy on Instagram when researching weddings in my area. I fell in love with her work and sent her a dm on Instagram. She responded quickly and we chatted on what I was looking for and the budget I wanted to stay in. She did my trial for my engagement photos and gave me some tips to take home with me. On my wedding day she did my makeup and it was exactly what we discussed and stayed picture perfect all night long. Kimtsy is fully worth the investment for photos you will have for a lifetime.

I cannot say enough great things about Kim. She made me and my sister look gorgeous the day of. I did a trial and it was perfect. She is fun and a super awesome person. I will totally use her again for future fancy events.

Amazing experience!
Kimtsy was absolutely amazing. I was one of those customer who thought I knew what I wanted, but really didn’t know what I wanted. She asked questions to learn about my skin type and coached me along the way as she was applying my makeup. I really enjoyed that she gave me tips for my everyday routine! I am the type of person who doesn’t wear makeup very often and my makeup felt very minimal yet very beautiful! I loved that it didn’t feel caked on. She listened to my requests but also wasn’t afraid to let me know what she thought would look best for my skin tone. Very professional, and a great fun person to be around! Definitely recommend!!

I'm SO happy to have found Kimtsy!
I had an awful experience with another MUA for my bridal trial. That's why you have a bridal trial! With one month left before my wedding, I found Kimtsy just in time. She was flexible with her schedule and we quickly set up a trial. She responds quickly to email and text and is very professional. Kimtsy listened to what I was looking for and offered her own suggestions. Her makeup application is FLAWLESS. She makes you feel absolutely beautiful without looking like you have TONS of makeup on. She is very sweet and funny and set the tone for a stress free and fun time while getting ready for my wedding. THANK YOU KIMTSY!! :)

Kimsty is phenomenal ! Her attention to detail on skin prep to that amazing cut crease. I received many compliments on my make up and as others have mentioned, it lasted all day without needing a touch up. Not to mention her personality is great! Thank you Kimsty !

Flawless make up
Kimtsy is truly a gifted MUA! She brought my vision to life and every detail of her work was just perfect! She uses quality products and asked me about my skin before beginning which shows she cares for your skin. My makeup lasted all day and I almost didn’t take it off at night because I was tempted to use the same makeup for my next event the following day since it was still picture perfect. Kimtsy always goes above & beyond my expectations when it comes to makeup. She’ll definitely have you feeling like a princess. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you Kimtsy!

Kimtsy was hands-down one of the BEST parts of
my wedding day and overall wedding-planning experience. From the start, I noticed that Kimtsy stood out from other makeup artists because she had a very professional web presence and her talent was clear from her numerous posts on Instagram. When I contacted Kimsty for a bridal makeup trial, her responses were prompt and friendly. When she traveled to my apartment (so convenient!), not only was she early for the appointment, but also she came with all kinds of gear--a makeup chair, a giant light, and suitcases full of high-end, quality makeup products. Kimsty was super sweet and did such an amazing job on my trial makeup! I was so happy to hire her and knew that she would deliver on my big day. On my wedding day, Kimtsy arrived early and with gear in tow. She made all of my bridesmaids look absolutely stunning. As for me, when my look was complete and I saw myself in the mirror, I began to tear up and said, "I can't look at myself, I look too gorgeous!" Is there any better response to having your bridal makeup done? Without question, if you are considering Kimsty, hire her and know that you are in talented, professional, and reliable hands. Holy Moly! Kimtsy was AMAZING!! From communicating about services, to the trial, to the big day she was quick to respond, super helpful, and made me and my wedding party look beautiful! She is so friendly and funny that she could’ve been part of the family. I felt relaxed speaking with her and she knows what she’s doing. I used Kimtsy to do my makeup for my engagement pictures. She is truly amazing, and really cares about how you look. She makes sure your lipstick is the exact color you want. Which is truly important to me because I love my lipstick! I will be using her for my wedding as well! I cannot wait to see the amazing work she does on me and my bridesmaids on the day of my wedding! Going for a vintage theme! I have no doubt that she will do an outstanding job! Thanks Kimtsy!

I hired her for my wedding last March. It was the best decision I made. I loved my make up and it lasted all day without any touch ups or worries. She was very timely, patient, flexible, and professional. Her prices are a steal! I’m so happy with the service I received and received many compliments. I had people texting me requesting for her contact information to get their make up done. She matched my skin tone and covered up my bags and made me look refreshed for my wedding even if I didn’t get much sleep the night before! If you don’t book her, you will miss out!

My bridesmaids and I received TONS of compliments on our makeup as well as requests for referrals for future events. THe makeup lasted from early morning until late into the evening-- no complaints, high quality products used.
