I had the privilege of having Pensee as my florist for my wedding and I can’t say enough good things about her! From the very beginning, Pensee was amazing - she was very respectful of the budget I gave her and every time I wanted to add or change my contract (there were a lot of times), she was incredibly kind and understanding. Not only did Pensee provide us with the most beautiful flowers, she also found a Chuppah for our ceremony and arranged for its drop off and pick up after the ceremony (she stayed the entire ceremony and even after when we wanted more photos!) and she also delivered our floral arrangements to different locations and different times throughout the day. I sent Pensee pictures of my bridesmaid dresses and the colors we chose for the wedding and she did a perfect job making sure the bouquets and centerpieces were coordinated with them. Throughout our planning process, we reached out to Pensee a few times to receive additional ideas that she may have about adding or changing the order we initially placed and she was so incredibly responsive. I received so many compliments about our flowers and I loved my bouquet so much that I’m going to preserve it! Highly recommend hiring Pensee for any floral needs you may have! Pensee was absolutely wonderful! Not only was she on-time and punctual, but she also transformed our wedding with a beautifully decorated arch, sweetheart table, and reception tables. What made her truly exceptional was her quick response and assistance with our last minute order for our boutonnieres and corsages. She saved the day! I was a little less specific than most when it came to my wedding flowers; I didn't care what kind of flowers we had, I was more concerned with color and variety. Pensee absolutely nailed it. My bridesmaids bouquets were a mix of all white roses, ranunculus, and other flowers with minimal greenery, and my bouquet was plums, magentas, burgundies, and burnt oranges. (We did not have ceremony flowers). Not only were the bouquets gorgeous and delivered right on time, but they lasted an obscenely long time -- after being carried/moved around all wedding day, they were put in a cardboard box and forgotten about for 2 days, and when we rediscovered them they were still almost perfect, lasting for several more days. This just speaks to the overwhelming care Pensee puts into sourcing and choosing her florals, and she did a truly beautiful job. I'd recommend her to any and all Northern VA brides.Pensee’s Florals's reply:

My wedding vision was an unstructured garden look with a whimsy summer color palette. Pensee blew us away with her creative proposal and her thoughtful design suggestions. She sourced so much variety and texture into our wedding florals. Every detail was beyond what I could have dreamed of myself. Our guests were so eager to take a centerpiece home at the end of the night and the flowers lasted a very long time after the wedding. Above and beyond beautiful work!!
Pensee was amazing to work with from the beginning. She met with us to hear about our vision and provided us with suggestions and feedback that were so helpful during this process. We worked with Pensee for my bridal shower and for my wedding day flowers. Both events were spectacular with her beautiful work as centerpieces. She really knows how to take ideas and visions and make them come to life!! Pensee not only nailed my vision for my perfect wedding day, but she also went above and beyond what we expected. Her work is absolutely gorgeous and really made my dream wedding come true with her beautiful work. I highly recommend Pensee's Florals. They were one of the easiest vendors to communicate with during my wedding planning process. Floral costs were well below some of the other quotes I was getting but the quality was absolutely amazing! They were super easy to work with and flexible when arranging our floral pick-up. Absolutely Blown Away
Pensee’s reviews were impressive and after my first call with her, she was my top contender. After sharing my vision with her, she easily crafted a plan to achieve it. She understood instantly what I was looking for. I very quickly booked her for my wedding and the entire planning experience was a breeze. I made a few changes along the way, and Pensee was always so gracious and flexible. She came out for a site visit a few weeks prior and we changed some things around based on her expertise. She even referred me to another vendor to get some non-floral items, which was a life saver. But let me tell you - on the day of our wedding, my husband and I (along with our families and wedding party) were speechless at how stunning our flower arch was. Seriously, I was in awe. She not only achieved my vision, but made it even more gorgeous. We also had some garland decorations and three beautiful bouquets for me and my bridesmaides. Her flowers were absolute top quality, her style and artistic skill are unmatched and I am almost more excited to see photos of the flowers than of us (what you see below are just iPhone photos!). I can’t recommend Pensee enough. She is extremely responsive, professional and efficient, and her prices are very reasonable. If you need a florist, book her. Don’t think twice. Wow! My husband and I cancelled our big wedding in France and decided to get married at my parents' house in six weeks. Pensee was SO SO helpful. I was able to provide colors and some Pinterest pictures and she delivered INCREDIBLE florals. I'm still getting compliments on how gorgeous the bouquets and table arrangements were. I'm on the west coast, but if I ever have an event in the DC area I will definitely be calling Pensee's Florals. Amazing.Pensee’s Florals's reply:

You will not find a florist like this in the DMV area!
Pensee was truly a godsend. I was stressing about the altar (mandap) and florist for my wedding. Everything in the DMV area has a huge price markup, which made me feel like I had to severely scale back in order to get what I wanted. When I found Pensee, I was SO relieved. She worked with me on my vision, using local and seasonal flowers. She is transparent, helpful, and immensely creative. She is also SUPER flexible. I totally changed my vision about two weeks before the wedding. She came to the venue (National Museum of Women in the Arts) for a walkthrough to get a better sense of the venue and what was required the day of the wedding. What we ended up with was AMAZING. I had the most gorgeous floral backdrop at my wedding, florals for the flower girls, and dainty neutral centerpieces to compliment the venue. I would recommend Pensee to everyone getting married and would definitely work with her again!Pensee’s Florals's reply:

Beautiful flowers!
Pensee was amazing to work with. She helped me pick out the perfect flowers. I do not know much about flowers so a lot of it was just showing photos and she pulled it off amazingly! Initially we were not going to have flowers at our wedding but decided against that at the last minute. I found Pensee through WW and it was so effortless to work with her. She is very very very responsive, accommodating and flexible. When she makes suggestions, she thinks about the client vision. Everyone raved about the center pieces and most guests to them home - a true indication of the quality of her work. I was lucky to keep and take home our sweetheart table's centerpiece!
I recommend her for your special events and look forward to working with her in the future.

She executed it flawlessly with a variety of peonies, roses, angels breath and more. The arrangements we're whispy and perfect for the look of my wedding. I got many compliments and the photos were gorgeous. She brought me very large alter arrangements, arrangements for the cake table and bar, as well as centerpieces for more than 20 tables all at a very reasonable price. She set-up early on the same day of my wedding and I did not have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend her for your wedding needs!! -
