  Another great 40th anniversary ceremony and photo session!

  We used Penny Palmer and Darci for our 40th anniversary vow renewal ceremony and family photographs. They took care of all of the details for the ceremony. The event and creative photography were perfect.
  We used Penny and Darci for our 30th anniversary and loved our pictures so much that we came back for more!!! They pictures are hanging in our house so we can cherish the memories of that day. my screensaver on my computer is our family picture.
  We did the ceremony and photo session at Napili Bay Beach, with the sunset in the background. The sunset was spectacular and stunning.
  I highly recommend using Darci and Penny for any anniversary or special event. They make every picture special.

  Amazing Photography

  Penny and her team did an amazing job photographing our special day. I appreciate that they didn't pose us or our guests; they simply captured the wedding, portraits and reception as we are. They had a knack for capturing all the special moments (like laughs, expressions, or kisses) too. We loved the portraits so much that we splurged and purchased the entire catalog of wedding photos!

  Penny and her team did an amazing job photographing our special day. I appreciate that they didn't pose us or our guests; they simply captured the wedding, portraits and reception as we are.   Penny is amazing!

  Penny was recommended to us through Aloha Maui Dream weddings and she was fantastic. She came to our condo to take “getting ready” photos and first look photos. She was patient, kind, and took really beautiful photos. After the ceremony she directed us to take some really fun and special photos. We had so much fun and it was obvious she has done this a million times, she ran us through everything with ease. Thank you Penny!! These photos are a gorgeous memory that we will have forever.

  A magical experience

  With this being our first trip off the mainland US and not knowing what to expect, as a photographer, Penny brought us the experience of a lifetime. We expected a run of the mill conveyor belt photography service and were provided a breathtaking experience where we were catered to, explained, and put as the center of attention every step of the way. We were asked to provide a synopsis of our relationship prior to our vacation and were astounded when she recalled so many details, as if they she did her homework to tailor the experience to us with extreme precision. Exceeding expectation is an understatement. We can't recommend Penny enough!!!!

  We booked penny Palmer photography as part of a package with aloha Maui dream weddings. The photographer was exceptional! She managed to capture the most amazing photos.. and we didn’t feel as if we were part of a photo shoot! It was natural and easy! She captured us as ourselves and in real moments we shared. She captured the most beautiful parts of the ceremony that were more beautiful in print than we had in our memory of that day! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our photos or the responsiveness of receiving them. If your reading this review. And want your day to be fun. Lighthearted and as easy as you can imagine!! Not to mention captured in print to be more beautiful than you remember.. then you found your photographer with penny Palmer photography! You will not be sorry.. I promise!

  We couldn’t be more happier with Penny’s expertises and the time she spent with our family during and after my sons wedding. It was absolutely A perfect wedding day.   When on maui look no further!

  Penny and her team of professionals, coupled with Aloha Maui Dream Weddings is a dynamite combination. We all had so much fun not only at the wedding but also at the Trash The Dress photoshoot we did as well. Her pictures are captivating and breathtaking.   A Stunning Fairytale

  With Darci as my wedding planner and Nicole as my photographer, I could not have asked for a better duo! Darci made the months, weeks, days, and even hours before my wedding stress-free and magical. Being a gal who is rarely a fan of being in front of the camera, I was surprised at how well Nicole was able to capture real personality and smiles. I just went through my entire gallery with my husband, and we were smiling from ear to ear reliving the moment. The pictures look like something from a fairytale: beautiful colors, amazing lighting, and genuine love. I could not be happier!

  With Darci as my wedding planner and Nicole as my photographer, I could not have asked for a better duo!   Where to begin!

  Ian, our photographer was absolutely incredible! Not only did he take his time with the precision of his photos, but he also educated us on a lot of things we would have never known about Hawaii! He took us out on the lava rocks, entertained my daughters so they could smile on their photos, and waited many many times for the tide to be on our side for the perfect photo! If you are planning on going on Maui to renew vows or get married, this team of amazing people will take care of you! Mahalo for not only making my dreams come true, but capturing them ❤️❤️ one love 🤙🏽

  Phenomenal photos!

  My husband and I got married on May 3rd, 2021 and the day was nothing short of perfect. Darci helped me with every thing along the way no matter how big or small it was! I only wish I could relive this perfect day over and over again. Penny Palmer captured the most amazing photos that we got back SO quickly.   Look no further! Penny Palmer Photography is IT!!

  Look no further! I promise you it does not get better than Aloha Maui Dream Weddings!! Darci, Penny, and the rest of the wedding team are the definition of a dream team! Our wedding was rescheduled due to the pandemic. We weren't really sure how if it would work out this year but it did and it the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Darci and Penny kept in contact with us throughout the year checking in and giving updates. It was great using that time to build a foundation of trust. They really care about their clients and it shows! When the date got closer they were so helpful in reminding us about testing, coordinating with the State of Hawaii to get our marriage license, providing any recommendations during our stay in Maui, checking in on me on the morning of our ceremony, and reminded us to not forget the rings and license docs before we headed out the door. They were thoughtful and we really appreciated how communicative they were. Kuya married us and Ian was our photographer and those two were a hit! They worked so beautifully together and the ceremony just flowed and was stress free the entire time. It was absolutely perfect! Right after Kuya left the beach he submitted our license paperwork and we received an email that it was already filed. I figured it would take a day or 2. We were promised our photo packet within 3-4 weeks. NOPE! No waiting there either! We received them 6 days later. Our WHOLE experience through a pandemic and all was top notch and exceeded our expectations. Aloha Maui Dream Weddings really work hard and create relaxing, stress free, and beautiful dream weddings. Ours was nothing less than perfect! I am so grateful we chose them to be part of our big day! Honestly you will not find better service, photography, attention to detail, or care from another business like them. They lead with love and are amazing at what they do.   Absolutely amazing photographer!

  We we fortunate enough to hire Penny, along with Aloha Maui Dream Weddings, for our recent wedding in Maui, and it was the best choice we could have made. Two of the most important qualities for a wedding photographer, in my opinion, are 1) creating gorgeous photographs that truly capture the heart and spirit of the event, and 2) being unobtrusive in the process of creating those photos. And Penny excelled at both of these things. When we saw our photo album from her, we were blown away by the beauty of the pictures, the perfect exposures, backgrounds, and lighting....but most of all, the way she absolutely captured the magic of the day and the joy that we were feeling in those moments. Her photos were fluid, emotional, composed perfectly to capture the feeling of the shot....there were no stiff, formal (boring), lifeless photos. They were vibrant and alive and we can now relive the joy of our wedding day just by viewing our photos. Mahalo Penny! You were relaxed, fun, and truly so unobtrusive that we even forgot we were being photographed (the ultimate compliment to a wedding photographer!).
