What an absolutely wonderful experience my daughter and I had working with Ramona, planning Erica's wedding! Ramona was helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and always an excellent resource as we maneuvered through the multitude of tasks necessary to make the day so wonderful. Ramona made everything run smoothly and gave us great confidence in our choice selections and requests.
This truly was a wonderful experience for our family. Ramona was instrumental in our success and the outcome of the day.
My husband said this after the wedding. "I don't know why everyone doesn't have their wedding at Penn Oaks". -

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago at Penn Oaks and we cannot say enough about how wonderful it was. Penn Oaks is beautiful with plenty of great locations for photos, the food was great and the staff was pleasant, attentive and went above and beyond for us. Carina especially helped us through the entire process and was very accommodating! We loved working with her. 10/10 would recommend choosing this venue; you won't regret it!!! -

My husband and I feel so blessed to have found Penn Oaks as our wedding venue. It was very important to us to find a venue that was not only tolerant of a same sex wedding but one that genuinely was accepting and equally shared in our celebration. At our initial consultation with Penn Oaks they started right off with a 5 start experience, offering drinks and food as we went over packages. At this meeting we were lucky enough to be paired with Carina as our wedding coordinator. Over the almost year and a half process of planning our wedding Carina literally became family. She was so accommodating of all of our needs and went above and beyond to execute all of our plans and make our wedding day exceptional. Our wedding night was absolutely beautiful and Carina and her team executed all of our decor ideas even better than I could have imagined. I also must give a big shout out to Lisa who was also there the night of our wedding and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed, ever brought us our own personal platter of hors d'oeuvres to make sure we also got to enjoy them. Everyone made us feel so special and made our day truly unforgettable. One thing I also appreciated about Penn Oaks is they did not try to nickel and dime you for every little thing. They were very clear about what their packages included and the cost from the beginning. In a world where some venues want to charge for every little thing all the way down to place settings, I was grateful for Penn Oaks’ all-inclusive service. Our wedding exceeded every expectation we had thanks to Carina, Lisa and the entire Penn Oaks Team! If I could give more than 5 starts I would. -

We can’t say enough good things about how great it was to have our wedding at Penn Oaks on 3/28/2025. We started our venue search early and booked in July 2023 shorty after getting engaged. Penn Oaks blew us away with what they offered, that it was an easy choice to go with them. From the first time we met our coordinator, Carina, we knew it was the spot for us. Carina was wonderful from beginning to end and has such great communication and professionalism and made the process so easy. With such a long planning process, Carina reached out with updates and things to keep us on track. Every staff member we interacted with was great, especially Lisa the night of the wedding. Having your wedding at Penn Oaks really makes everything so easy as the packages are reasonably prices and are basically all inclusive to taking care of everything with the ceremony, cake, centerpieces, food, drink, photo booth, lighting, hotel stay for the wedding night, and even more – so there are less vendors that you’d have to worry about on your own. We had our ceremony at Penn Oaks also and they offer two beautiful ceremony options (indoor and outdoor) and are flexible with any adjustments in case of weather. Luckily the weather held out for us and we had our ceremony outdoor, but would have been just as happy if it was indoor as both options are great. The food was outstanding, and our guests keep telling us how great it was – fresh, hot, and delicious all night long. We couldn’t have had a better experience and will always recommend Carina and Penn Oaks to anyone who asks. You will not be disappointed picking them for your day!

From the very first email with Carina, I was confident in this venue. We toured many different venues and didn't want to just "settle" for anything. However, when we came in, spoke to Carina and saw the entire venue and what they offered, it was a no brainer. They were more than accommodating, friendly, went above and beyond with every detail. The day of the wedding I truly felt like a guest of honor, and knew I didn't have to worry about anything at all. Having a multicultural wedding, it was important to us that both our families were comfortable and able to communicate in either Spanish or English. The food, venue, coordinators, bartenders were all amazing. I am so thrilled to have chosen Penn oaks, and we are still getting phone calls about how great a time everyone had. Special thank you, to Carina. Our friend is also having her wedding here in the fall, and we are so excited!! Seriously, tour this place and you will fall in love.

I couldn't say enough about Penn Oaks Golf Club. My husband and I recently married there on 9/28/24 and it was an absolutely perfect day! Every part of the planning process was enjoyable and went so smoothly... especially thanks to our amazing coordinator, Carina.
Immediately after touring, we booked Penn Oaks as our wedding venue and Carina was amazing from the start. Throughout our two year engagement, she reached out with updates, considerations, and kept us on track. She is so knowledgeable and answered all our many questions along the way.
Once we got to our wedding day, I was so at ease on the day because I knew we were in great hands. Myself and my bridesmaids got ready at the bridal suite at the venue, which was so cute. Penn Oaks was so accommodating allowing us to come on sight as early as 9 am.
My husband and I decided to do a first look and bridal party photos before our ceremony. Let me say the Penn Oaks grounds are stunning. So many beautiful areas for pictures. Unfortunately, due to weather, we were unable to hold our wedding ceremony outside as originally planned but the plan B option in the tent was just as magical. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful everything was.
Now to the cocktail hour and reception... the service was awesome! From the wait staff to the bartenders. The food was OUTSTANDING! Penn Oaks offers so many options for both cocktail hour and the reception that you can choose from. Our guests still rave about the food.
Truly couldn't imagine our wedding day any other way and we have Penn Oaks to thank for such an unforgettable, beautiful wedding.

My husband and I fell in love with Penn Oaks the moment Ramona gave us a tour! We loved that it included so much- so less worrying about centerpieces and our wedding cake, and we also loved that we didn't have to worry about a PhotoBooth. Not to mention, everything about the venue- inside and out is incredibly beautiful. So many great spots to take pictures and our guests loved it too! We could not be happier with how our wedding day turned out and we truly owe it all to the amazing staff at Penn Oaks. Ramona was outstanding and she made sure everything flowed smoothly and also ensured that we remain on schedule. Could not be more grateful for the open communication we had with her from the very start. We highly recommend Penn Oaks to all the newly engaged couples out there! We absolutely loved working with Carina and the Penn Oaks Team cannot recommend them enough! From the moment we toured the venue, Carina made us feel like the only couple she was working with. Carina assisted us with the wedding planning process and provided quick responses to all of our many questions throughout the entire year of planning. Carina was also so flexible with scheduling our in-person meetings, which was especially helpful given we were planning from out of town. Carina also gave us great guidance when we were unsure on a few details which was super helpful as she and the Penn Oaks Team have seen it all!
On our wedding day, we felt so supported by the whole Penn Oaks Team. We did not have to worry about setting up, coordinating the vendors, directing guests, packing up or any other logistics - the team really did an amazing job behind the scenes! The venue is also so well kept and we loved all the different locations: bridal suite, groom suite, tent, outdoor ceremony space, reception hall, and all of the great green space outdoors. It was really nice to have a backup plan in case of rain and we knew the Penn Oaks Team would be ready to adapt as needed (luckily not needed)! All the other details were great such as the food, cake, and table setups.
From the moment we began planning, the Penn Oaks Team was so accommodating and professional. Every detail, from the decor to the service, exceeded our expectations. Our guests were equally impressed and have not stopped raving about how wonderful everything was. We cannot recommend Penn Oaks enough - this vendor is a no brainer for weddings or any other events! They truly make the process as simple as possible and make you & all your guests feel so special on your wedding day!

Where do I even begin. The team at Penn Oaks Golf Club is unbelievable. We were blown away from the second we walked in for our tour and they continued to surprise us every step of the way. Carina was our point person and truly was the magic behind it all.
Penn Oaks was flexible to make our day everything we could ever dream of and accommodating to unexpected circumstances. My dad was diagnosed with cancer a month before the wedding. As soon as I told Carina, she helped us rearrange the seating chart so my parents had a table to themselves, servers to themselves who wore masks and gloves so my parents could be there and stay safe. The upgraded package is worth every penny, you get so much for what you pay for.
Penn Oaks has a lovely staff who will work with you to give you the wedding of your dreams.

We had the most amazing time planning and finally having our wedding there. We found them while attending a bridal expo and the brochure was over the top and that should have been the tell tale sign that this is how they run their weddings. 2 packages and all inclusive were both to things like tax, tips, plate chargers, nice upscale chairs, valet, linen color to your choosing, bridal suite with pump chairs....I can go on and on. Ramona was the best! I would not skip them in your search. -

Amazing Venue and Amazing Staff!
We spent a long time researching venues, and we happened to see a table for Penn Oaks at the bridal expo we attended (which was already on our radar of places we might be interested in touring). This is where we first met and spoke with Ramona. From the very beginning she was amazing and so helpful with our thousands of questions. After speaking with her, we felt more confident that Penn Oaks was definitely a top contender for our wedding venue. We scheduled a tour and afterwards we had no doubt this was the perfect place for us. Penn Oaks was very accommodating to our unique requests and Ramona worked with us throughout the entire process. We saved a lot of money with their off season 20% discount! The value of their packages is also great considering everything they include that other places did not. For example, our wedding cake, centerpieces and linens were all included!! (and they had a TON of options to choose from for the linens) They work with a few different bakers for the wedding cake and you get to choose the one you want to work with. We used the Master's Baker and the cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. One of my favorite aspects for this venue was the flexibility for indoor vs outdoor ceremony. We were able to decide the day of whether or not we wanted everything set up outside or set up inside. It gave us a lot of peace of mind that even if the weather on our wedding day was rainy or too cold we had the option to set up inside. We ultimately did decide to have an indoor ceremony because it was a little too cold outside, but the tent space was so pretty with the curtain style lights and the chandeliers and all of the natural light! The food was fantastic and we had so many guests tell us this was the best steak they have ever had! There were so many options to choose from with all the appetizers and the stations and the entrees, we were all so stuffed by the end of the night. We had the most amazing wedding we could have wished for thanks to Ramona and we are so so glad we chose Penn Oaks. -

Beautiful venue and especially helpful, accommodating staff!
The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff, most especially Carina, made it a wonderful experience! We got the most basic package and a cake, open bar, signature drinks, food and a free night at a hotel were all included! We had our own centerpieces but they offer centerpieces as well, votive candles and chiavari chairs without an extra charge like other venues. The food was delicious, guests raved about it all night! Our dog was able to attend for the ceremony and photos, which we really wanted. They have the option to do the ceremony outside at a gazebo or inside the tent room, which is beautiful in itself. We were going to do the ceremony outdoors but it ended up being extremely windy so they moved everything indoors the morning of for the ceremony in a quick, efficient manner. We had the Bridal Suite from 12-4 before the ceremony started at 4:15 and while we got ready, Carina took me into the reception hall to double check the decor to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. I was very impressed with this venue and many guests absolutely loved it as well! I especially appreciate Carina’s help and how she made it as stress free as possible, while also reminding us frequently that it’s our day and everything is up to us.Penn Oaks Golf Club's reply:

Penn Oaks is incredible!!!
Choose Penn Oaks for your wedding day! We toured about 15 venues when we first got engaged, and Penn Oaks checked every single box for us: beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, great food, actually affordable packages and amazing service. From the second we met Carina, she was the absolute best! Throughout our nearly two years of planning, she was super responsive to emails and texts and was always there to give advice and answer my million questions. We did the William Penn package with six additional food stations—including enhanced dessert options and a late night station with hoagies and pretzels—and a photo booth that everyone loved. Our guests raved about our cocktail hour with crab cake sliders, cheesesteaks, french fry bar, 10 passed hors d'oeuvres and more. We opted for the fireworks and it was so worth it! Everyone was so wowed and the photos and videos were incredible. The only regret I have from our wedding is that we couldn't attend it as a guest. I will recommend it to everyone! -

We had such an amazing wedding weekend at Penn Oaks!
We unfortunately lost our initial venue and though I was devastated to be starting from square one, our first meeting with Carina for a tour made us realize it was meant to be! She was extremely kind and hospitable and made our entire process from start to finish seamless...we couldn't be happier with our choice! We hosted a wedding luncheon in the Pub Patio the day before our wedding and it was absolutely phenomenal. The space was very comfortable and the catering team were accommodating to our dietary restrictions. They laid everything out perfectly and made space to fit our decor.
On our wedding day, we were fortunate to have amazing weather so took advantage of all the gorgeous spaces. Carina made sure we made it out to some excellent spots for photos. From arrival to departure, everything went smoothly and we had everything we needed! Our guests had such an amazing time. Food and drinks were very good. And I didn't feel stressed out at all!
Carina absolutely meant it when she said that she "would take great care" of us. Her communication with us, our wedding planners and vendors was first-class. The entire team at Penn Oaks was outstanding - they were professional, accommodating and most importantly, genuinely committed to making our day the very best. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Thank you -

The Perfect Wedding Experience
There is only one word that I can use to describe my wedding day at Penn Oaks: PERFECT. The whole experience with Ramona and the team at Penn Oaks leading up to the wedding was incredible. My husband and I are extremely type A personalities, and everyone kept noticing how relaxed we were in the days leading up to the wedding and our wedding day-- that's because we had complete trust in Ramona and the Penn Oaks team to have everything handled. They were there through every step of the process, giving advice, working with us on all the little details, and setting us up with the best vendors for our day. With an incredibly stunning venue (gazebo, tent, reception space), beautiful fall decor, the most INCREDIBLE food (a former chef said it was the best filet he had ever eaten) with amazing service from staff, and a stunning fireworks show, the night was perfect from beginning to end. Not only did we love it, but all of our guests could not stop raving. We heard from multiple guests that this was the best wedding they had ever been to, and we are 100% confident that they meant that. This day was everything that my husband and I could have ever asked for and more, and all the credit goes to the team at Penn Oaks for making it happen. We would recommend Penn Oaks to every single bride that was looking to get married. -

My husband and I got married on 8/21/2022 at Penn Oaks Golf Club and everything was just perfect! A beautiful venue with adequate space for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I found Penn Oaks via The Knot where Carina responded to my wedding inquiry! She’s truly amazing from our initial online encounter to meeting in person. The best wedding coordinator I could’ve worked with…Carina understood my vision and assisted me in making it a reality. She’s organized, attentive to details and very professional. Penn Oaks is Amazing!!
Let me start out by saying that Penn Oaks is the most amazing venue to EVER work with! 10/10 recommend them for your future Wedding/Events. They demonstrate professionalism with hard work, timeliness & accommodations to fit your needs. For example: Ramona-the Wedding Coordinator is amazing!! I would email her late at night with questions & she would answer me right away (even when she was on vacation/medical appointments/etc…) she truly showed me that she valued me & accommodated all of my wants/needs. Our wedding day at Penn Oaks was absolutely PERFECT. The entire experience was amazing - especially working with Ramona from Penn Oaks. Ramona helped us with everything, down to the smallest of details. She was the perfect coordinator and helped our day go off without a hitch. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere really helped make our wedding a memorable day. We decided to go for a brunch style wedding and they knocked it out of the park. If you are looking for a place in the Philly area to host your wedding, we would highly recommend reaching out to Penn Oaks!! 10/10!! -

Penn Oaks was the perfect place to have our wedding. Ramona was very responsive the entire time. I felt like she was a second mom to me the entire time, giving suggestions and ways to improvise in order to get things exactly how I envisioned our day from the first day we met to the second before the ceremony began. There's no need to have a day of coordinator because the woman did it all and was so flexible & patient through the process!! She knows all the ins & outs which was so helpful especially to our photographer who had never been to Penn Oaks before. Ramona led us to the most beautiful locations around the gold course so we could have breathtaking pictures. There is nothing you really need outside of the venue. They have decor for centerpieces you can rent for such a low price which is SO helpful because its one less thing you have to worry about buying and transporting. They even have a photobooth option which we utilized as well which again, makes it easier because it's one less thing to coordinate. We had over 200 guests and the food all came out so hot & delicious we are still getting compliments on the food weeks later. This isn't a chain, this place makes you feel like you are so welcomed and they made our dream wedding come true. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, I have no regrets!! Exceptional!
My husband and I got married at Penn Oaks on April 23, 2021, and our day was an absolute dream! We cannot say enough about how incredible Carina was to work with. From start to finish, she made everything easy for us - from coming in to see the venue as much as we needed, multiple food tastings, helping us re-plan our postponed wedding, to our absolutely magical day, and even after with our decoration pick up! Carina helped us to create our dream wedding and went above and beyond to help us pull off our perfect day. She even went out the night before to buy new floating candles to fit our centerpieces, and hand stitched my wedding dress back together after someone stepped on the back before the ceremony! We are forever grateful to Carina for our flawless day and couldn't imagine working with anyone else as wonderful as her! The venue itself was gorgeous, and we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather to be able to utilize all the options on the grounds. We held our ceremony outside, cocktail hour under the beautiful, tented patio, and the reception in the ballroom. It was so nice to be able to know what we were spending, as there were no hidden fees and the package pricing made it so easy to choose our options. Our guests are still raving about the food and fireworks! From the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU, Carina, and team at Penn Oaks for making our wedding day one we will never forget!! -

Best Venue!
We cannot say enough good things about Penn Oaks. Between our wedding coordinator Carina and all the other coordinators helping during the wedding day and days leading up to the wedding, everyone was so polite and helpful (especially Carina though)! She was a great communicator throughout the whole process and helped make our day run smoothly. For the venue itself, we received many compliments on the beauty of the tented area with the hanging lights - we highly suggest doing the ceremony in here like we did. The food was great and the staff did an excellent job getting everyone their meals quickly. We did the photobooth and fireworks too and guests loved it! My wife and I are so glad we picked Penn Oaks. -

Best decision we made!
- [ ] My husband and I could not be more grateful that we had our wedding at Penn Oaks!! For starters it included our amazing wedding coordinator, Ramona Swift!! Ramona was with us every step of the way any text, phone call, or email she was so quick to respond! Ramona had the best wedding planning advice and guided us seamlessly through the entire planning process, I truly do not believe our wedding would have been as magical as it was if it wasn’t for her! Even up until the day of she coordinated us every step of the way and kept us on the perfect timeline. She was the point of contact for all of our vendors allowing my family and my parents to concentrate on enjoying the moment and the day and truly be there to celebrate us. We honestly felt like we were robbing Penn Oaks with how much help Ramona provided! I felt as if I hired an outside wedding planner but she was included in the price!! We chose the William Penn Package which was an all inclusive with no hidden fees and gratuity included. We tipped extra because our service and planning process was immaculate. Our package was based on price per plate which included 10 butlered hors d’oeuvres, 6 food stations including an end of the night station of hoagies and pretzels which I used as our “favors”, a premium open bar, a plated dinner, dessert station, premium coffee station, and our FOUR TIER WEDDING CAKE was even included! We also had a photo booth included in the price per plate in which they provided a take home album of every photo our guests have taken! They also provided centerpieces, table numbers, champagne glasses, cake cutting sets, easels and anything else you can ask for that usually runs up the price of weddings. They also covered the accommodations for the night of your wedding at a nearby hotel. My husband, my family, and my friends cannot stop talking about how magical our wedding was I cannot thank Ramona and the team enough I have absolutely no regrets and believe everyone should have their wedding at Penn Oaks. I wish we could live it over and over again. We were married on October 1st, 2021 and were navigating around all of the covid wedding pushed back so for us to even find a date was lucky! Penn Oaks being all inclusive took away all of the stress of planning a wedding down to giving us a list of amazing vendors in which we found our photographer, Tom Fuller, at Fuller Photography that we absolutely fell in love with!! They have plenty of add ons you can choose too and we took advantage of the fireworks which I highly recommend it was a huge hit with our guests! I am so incredibly thankful we chose Penn Oaks and we’re lucky enough for Ramona to be our wedding planner. A truly perfect venue and day!!!

We cannot say enough about how amazing of a venue Penn Oaks is! The day we went to visit Penn Oaks while still deciding on a venue, we were visiting another venue immediately after. Dawn Claffey gave us the tour of the venue and sat down with us to discuss every aspect of the venue, our wedding planning, everything Penn Oaks has to offer, and just made casual conversation with us as well. The second venue we visited was a completely different experience, and it was because the coordinator was just not as personable as Dawn, so we immediately decided on Penn Oaks that night. Not only is Dawn a great person but she is extremely knowledgeable and gave us extremely valuable feedback and insight all the way through the wedding planning process and made planning the wedding all that much easier on us. When working with other vendors we would tell them the reception was at Penn Oaks and they all had great things to say; this continued to make us more excited for the big day. On our wedding day the venue was beautiful, and everything was incredibly well-organized from the cocktail hour all the way through dinner and the end of the night. The food was fantastic, and every single person working that night was so great and friendly. The bartenders were quick but also extremely pleasant. We opted for the fireworks, and it was absolutely worth it. Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about our wedding, and we could not be happier with our choice to go with Penn Oaks!

The best of the best!
Penn Oaks had me sold the moment I went there. I loved how beautiful the club was, and I loved their wedding packages and the pricing. Ellen and Dawn were a joy to work with, extremely responsive and flexible; I felt taken care of the entire year I worked with them. There is something to be said about the integrity of the club too- with covid still going on they did not charge me a minimum when most venues still were. This was a huge reason we are even happier with Penn Oaks as we had to cut our guest list down to 80 people for immunocompromised family members. Our guests told us all night how delicious the cocktail hour food was and how great the drinks were. They loved the tent and ballroom area, too and commented on how beautiful not only the reception area was, but the surrounding golf course and outdoor area. I loved every minute of my wedding and every detail Dawn and her staff put together. It was the best day of my life and the Penn Oaks staff made everything so perfect for myself, my husband, and our guests. Thank you so much Penn Oaks! -

Simply Perfect
Planning a wedding during a pandemic has certainly raised it’s challenges, but choosing Penn Oaks as our venue was certainly not a challenge, it was an easy decision. We toured many wedding venues before making our choice but the standout difference in our decision making was Carina. In our initial meeting Carina made us feel welcome, comfortable, and it was very clear that she was a professional and given the circumstances, we needed a professional in our corner. From the initial meeting, to the tasting of appetizers and dinner selections, to the meetings to go over the final details, Carina was an allstar and after every visit to Penn Oaks we were reassured we were in great hands and on track to have the perfect day.
Our cocktail hour went great, we had two amazing bartenders who were very knowledgeable on drinks and made us the perfect signature drink, and our guests are still talking about the food they had for hors d’oeuvres and at the individual stations. While taking photos out on the golf course Carina kept us and our photographers on track with the timing and assisted during the process; from carrying flowers and helping with my dress to make sure I looked my best. The ceremony came and then the slow dances and speeches and we had the most wonderful night, topped off by an amazing display of fireworks. In looking back on the process, and dealing with Carina and Penn Oaks, there is not a single regret, or a single “I wish we would have….” Everything went perfectly and we did not have a single hiccup, and if we had to do the night over 100 times, Penn Oaks would be picked every time.

Let me just start by saying that Penn Oaks was the first venue we visited. It literally was breathtaking! Now on to our experience. Ramona, from the start, was outstanding. From communicating through emails to the day of, it was stress free! I can't say enough great things about her. The day of the wedding was just amazing. I'm so happy we could have our reception in the ballroom. The tables were set up just perfectly and how we wanted them. From the small details to the food, I just keep getting compliments almost a week later about it all. I just want to thank Ramona and the staff at Penn Oaks for making our day unforgettable. Planning a COVID wasn't easy, but their grounds offered so much flexibility that we were able to seamlessly move our wedding from indoor to outdoor without having to cut our guest list at all! And, after all was said and done, we think moving everything to the patio made for much better aesthetics and acoustics overall. We’re still getting compliments on how beautifully everything turned out. We could not be happier with our choice. Our wedding coordinator, Carina, as absolutely amazing with us. Her communication was on point and she was always there for us, ready with an answer whenever we had questions. Especially during all the uncertainty in the height of the pandemic. We can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend you work with her! Overall, Penn Oaks were super accommodating, flexible, and understanding. Hands down, best choice we made. -

Penn Oaks Golf Club hosted our wedding August 16, 2020 and it was the best day of our entire lives. When we first saw the venue we knew it’s was the one! We had to get married there. The grounds, gazebo, patio, and ballroom are all absolutely gorgeous. Our wedding coordinator Dawn is very friendly and outgoing. She makes things easy and puts your mind at ease. We felt like we had already known her for years. We had no trouble at all rescheduling our wedding to a new date with Penn Oaks due to Covid 19. On the day of our wedding we used the open air patio for both our ceremony and reception due to inclement weather. We dropped off our wedding decorations a few days prior and on our wedding day Dawn and her staff made the place absolutely beautiful. It blew my expectations away. The staff and bartenders were very polite and attentive the entire time and even packed up all of our items for us that we had to bring home. The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests. We will definitely be visiting Penn Oaks again for our 1 year anniversary dinner. Dawn and the staff at Penn Oaks are great and go above and beyond to make you feel special and comfortable. I highly recommend this venue for your event and I promise you you won’t regret it. Our day was perfect!! -

The best day ever!
We cannot say enough positive things about the team at Penn Oaks. From the very beginning, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to be hosting our wedding. Ramona was amazing, every step of the way, answering every one of my many questions with patience and professionalism. Penn Oaks gave us a list of trusted vendors, from which we chose our Photographer, Baker, and DJ. Knowing the vendors were familiar with the venue gave us comfort and ensured things went smoothly on our wedding day! The crab cakes at Penn Oaks got the approval of my husband who grew up in Maryland and many of our guests have told me the food at the reception was the best meal they have ever had (not even just at a wedding, literally ever). The bridal suite was a little small for my larger wedding party (12 adults and 2 flower girls getting ready), so we got ready at my parents house and went to Penn Oaks for the first look. The grooms suite/lounge was the perfect size for the men to get ready though! The venue is dog friendly and even made our pup a hamburger for after the ceremony! We really loved that there was an easy and equally gorgeous backup plan for our outdoor ceremony in case of rain. We opted to do fireworks toward the end of the reception and our guests all raved about how amazing they were - we also got some incredible photos! From start to finish, Penn Oaks was so supportive and helpful, we never for one second felt uneasy about how our wedding day would go, and as soon as I arrived at the venue, I didn't have to think about or handle a single issue - they truly took care of us and we are so grateful to everyone who worked so hard to give us an unforgettable wedding day.Penn Oaks Golf Club's reply:

simply perfect
We knew we made the right choice with going with Penn Oaks for our wedding since the start. Our first time there everyone was so nice and welcoming unlike any other venue my husband and I viewed. We were offered drinks and provided with hor deurves, something so small that meant so much to us that no other venue we viewed even thought to do. Dawn had sold us from the start. We knew she was someone that we wanted to work with and be surrounded by on our wedding day. Dawn was so helpful throughout the planning and provided extremely helpful tips throughout. Dawn did AMAZING decorating and truly brought everything I had envisioned to life. On our wedding day, we also worked with Lisa who was so sweet, calm and attentive to all of our needs. On our wedding everyone took such amazing care of my husband and I. I mentioned to the wait staff one time that I loved the spring rolls and every wait staff who had spring rolls made to sure to stop by me because "they heard the bride loved the spring rolls". The food was incredible and our guests are still talking about it! The grounds were also amazing. There are so much included in their packages that you truly cannot go wrong. Penn Oaks truly went above and beyond for our wedding day and we cannot thank you enough! We look forward to coming back for our one year anniversary dinner! Thank you!! -

Our wedding at Penn Oaks was beautiful! The food was delicious and the day was perfect. We worked with Dawn and she was easy to talk to & always available to answer any planning questions I had. We booked the fireworks and they were totally worth it! I had guests telling me how impressed they were by them (one couple is planning their wedding for next year in CT and said they’re going to figure out a way to have fireworks at their wedding). I would 100% recommend and if I had to do it over I wouldn’t change a thing.

What an incredible wedding venue and perfect for the amount of guests we had. The event was everything We ever wanted. What an amazing bunch of people to have the opportunity to work with. Not only were they professional to deal with but Dawn made our vision a reality in just a few short months of meeting. We have so much gratitude for all of the staff's support in getting us through the high-anxiety moments especially Dawn. Our experience at Penn Oaks was nothing but perfect. The team the day of the wedding kept everything moving so smoothly and took that extra step to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. Carina, my coordinator was very quick to respond to emails, help with ALL my questions, and even helped throw my veil for some photos! The staff all had smiles- especially the bar tenders who definitely keeping the party going. My son & daughter in law's wedding was October 7, 2018, we should have written this review much sooner but better late than never.
After checking out many venues, we selected Penn Oaks, which was the best decision we ever made! Penn Oaks was a perfect wedding venue! No words can capture what a wonderful wedding this was! The ceremony was outside in front of the gazebo - it was set up perfectly! The golf course is a beautiful backdrop for photos. The cocktail party was held in the gorgeous enclosed patio area, which also can be used as a last minute ceremony backup if it rained (fortunately, it was a beautiful day). The ballroom was spectacular in every way. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful.
The best of all was Carina our wedding coordinator. She was warm, friendly, patient and caring, and responsive to our frequent requests and questions over the 15 month period prior to the wedding. Carina was always available whenever we needed to meet with her. She gave us great recommendations for other wedding vendors, which were amazing choices! She focused on the smallest details to make sure that nothing was missed in the wedding planning. She somehow managed to support our endless requests with a smile - nothing was too difficult for her! On the wedding day, Carina was on top of every detail, to ensure that everything went perfectly from start to finish.
We would strongly recommend Penn Oaks and Carina for the perfect wedding!

As an anxious bride, the planning was just as important to me as the day of and Carina made everything so easy for me throughout From our first meeting to our tastings, rehearsal and day of - Carina and the Penn Oaks staff made us feel so at ease. The food is amazing! My guests have not stopped talking about how the food was the best "wedding food" they've ever had - especially the duck! The fireworks stole the show and my heart - MUST HAVE! We worked with Sarah throughout the entire planning process, and she was timely with any questions we had. She made the process so easy and not stressful at all. We even decided to add fireworks only a couple of days prior and it wasn't a problem at all. On the day of the wedding, everything was set up impeccably and the day flowed perfectly. They went above and beyond and this wedding was anything and everything we could have hoped for. We would recommend them to anybody.

Always professional, so responsive to all our emails over 2 years of planning. Any question at any time she was always there for us right up to the day of the wedding. My mother ripped her dress right before the ceremony was to start and Carina grabbed a sewing kit and quickly fixed the problem!! Carina made sure that my husbands family was taken care of the day of with their special needs, which truly made him feel so much more at ease. She was like our fairy god mother helping us with every little thing. The venue as a whole is SO beautiful! The gazebo, the tent, the reception hall, all stunning. The food, AMAZING! Everyone told us how delicious everything was all night long. We even had fireworks!! This venue was the perfect place for our wedding and we can not thank everyone who helped make our day as special and perfect as it was enough.
