From the moment we stepped onto Peirce Farm for our first tour, we fell in love with the property! The mansion to get ready in is beautiful, historic, and roomy! We were roughly 6 months away from our wedding when we found out about the new owners, and we were nervous at first, but those concerns were quickly eased by the venue staff who explained and clarified any questions I had. The updated bridal suite was AMAZING!! There was so much room, it was clean and bright, and it was such a nice place to relax and get ready in the morning. The staff there is so attentive and responsive, and they were able to answer any questions I had, and they were able to make any accommodations I needed for my guests. Super easy to work with and the day went very smooth. Most of this was thanks to one of Peirce's day of coordinators, Liz. She made sure everything went smoothly -- I never even had to hire another coordinator. We were able to do a quick rehearsal the week of the wedding and the owner was able to give us some tips as well. We had all day from 8am until the ceremony time of 4:30pm to decorate and make sure everything was perfect. We were also able to pick up decor the next day, since it was an awful lot to bring home the night of. -

My wife and I could not be happier with our decision to have had our wedding at Peirce Farm. The venue itself is gorgeous, including the mansion, the barn reception area, and all of the surrounding land, including the ceremony arbor and white picket fence for golden hour photos. The entire staff was so helpful throughout the process, especially Bill and Leslie. We peppered them with tons of questions in way too many emails over the past several months and they always responded quickly, were able to accommodate and even anticipate all our requests (without charging us extra for every little request), and made great suggestions to us along the way as well. Our wedding itself went incredibly smoothly thanks to their team's excellent set-up and coordination with their exclusive caterer, Vinwood (also excellent). We looked at a LOT of venues before this one and nothing came close to the combined beauty, service, and overall value at Peirce. Highly recommend! -

Amazing barn venue!
Truly the best and most beautiful wedding venue around! I was looking for a barn for my modern black tie wedding that wasn't too rustic and this one was perfect for me! They have an amazing property with a beautiful ceremony site, cocktail hour section, mansion to get ready in & the barn for the reception! We loved it so much! -

We had our wedding here September 2022. We booked 2 years out after seeing a few venues and knew this was the perfect place for us to get married! Planning a wedding during a pandemic isn't easy, but Peirce Farm made the process so seamless and easy. Our vendors have said many times that they enjoyed the experience so much (many of them had never worked here before). And our guests couldn't get over how beautiful the venue was and the beautiful views. Bill and Candice were extremely helpful, answering any questions I had along the way. They allowed us to come a few weeks before the wedding to decide on our ceremony space and how we were going to set up our decor. Even offering an array of arbors for us to choose from so we didn't have to bring our own and deal with transportation. We had 123 guests total and still had plenty of room for a dance floor, the set up inside the carriage house was perfect! I've been recommending Peirce Farm to everyone I know and hope we get to attend weddings here in the future. -

We held our wedding at Peirce Farm in August 2022. The venue is gorgeous, and being able to be on site from 8am - 11pm was such an amazing benefit. Bill and the team at Peirce Farm were great every step of the way, from visiting to working on the contract to planning to running the day. I am sure a lot was going on in the background that I was unaware of to make everything run smoothly for the wedding! The manor house is such a lovely space to have to get ready in, with a kitchen and plenty of space for prep work and relaxing. We held our ceremony outside in front of one of the big trees behind the manor house, which was beautiful. Our cocktail hour was held in the manor courtyard, which is such a pretty space, and then we got to move everyone into the barn for the reception. We had a wedding of 65 and the space utilization made it seem like the perfect size, even though it can hold larger weddings.
The history of the venue was such fun, and everyone thought it was beautiful. Bill and the team helped clear up and coordinate, and the day went without a single hitch.

We chose Peirce Farm for our July 2022 wedding and it was the best decision ever. We had visited a few other places prior to Peirce, and as soon as we visited the beautiful estate we knew this was the one! It has so much charm and natural beauty, and the fact that you get access to the grounds all day is SO convenient!!! I chose all my vendors from their recommendation guide too and that was also a great decision as our wedding day was seamless and stress-free and beautiful. Bill, Candice, and Leslie were always available for questions and checked in consistently throughout our year of planning. Whole experience 10/10, highly recommend :) -

Venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very accommodating, Bill was sweet and friendly. I got married here on 8/19/21, and for me it was my dream wedding. We came a yje way from NH to get married and have our wedding here, and we are certain we made the right choice. Beautiful beautiful venue. I wish I can do it all over again, just so I can be on this gorgeous place. Thank you Peirce Farm for all that you do to make so many couples happy. -

We had been recommended this venue by someone who got married the year before and we are so happy we went with them! Love the fact that you can bring in your own vendors, as a few places we had looked at only had a limited selection you could choose from. Candice and Bill are such gracious hosts and helped us (especially during the ups and downs of Covid) with any questions we had. Getting ready the day of was so fun, it’s absolutely gorgeous here, and we’d do it all over again if we could! -

Peirce Farm at Witch Hill is truly the perfect venue. My now-husband and I were supposed to get married originally in Italy in June of 2020 -- and we were apprehensive about resuming our planning at first. But when we stumbled upon Peirce Farm, we just couldn't get over how reasonably priced and stunning the venue was. We knew we had to jump on booking it. Needless to say, I'm so happy we made that decision. Candice and Bill were so incredibly friendly and responsive throughout the entire planning process -- and on the day of the wedding, we couldn't believe how hands-on and helpful they and their staff members were! They made the entire experience feel so seamless and stress-free. The venue itself is pure magic. I actually didn't even see it in person until the day of the wedding since I live in California (which had me slightly nervous, I'm not going to lie). But I could take a long, deep exhale when I arrived on-site the morning of. Photos really don't do it justice. The entire estate is so stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. The whole day was an absolute dream and I can't recommend their venue enough! -

Peirce Farm at Witch Hill is quintessentially the perfect venue. This property is stunning, a completely magical experience. The estate on the property is old Victorian and so homey. The spaces for the bride and groom to get ready in are gorgeous and make for great photos, the sitting area is great for family and friends to hang out while the bride and groom get ready, and the barn where we opted to have both our ceremony and reception, is stunning. The staff we met when first viewing the venue were so friendly and helpful, they let us tour the property multiple times, gave us access to the space pre-wedding day to drop off diy items and our chuppah, and were there the whole day to assist with the event. The event space is given to you for the whole day which is amazing, we arrived at 9am to get ready and were on site until 10:30pm gathering up items. They supplied tables and chairs (beautiful chivari chairs) for no extra cost and the venue itself (especially since we had a winter wedding on a Sunday) was so so SO affordable. We had a small-ish wedding (85 people) and the space was perfect. We got amazing photos since the whole property is beautiful and we had multiple friends say they wanted to renew their vows just to have an event in this space. Its romantic, magical, affordable...what more could you ask for! -

Flexible. Affordable. Stunning.
Peirce Farm was everything we dreamed of! We loved the flexibility that came with it and the fact that there wasn't a bossy wedding coordinator who dictated our day. For 3,200 we had the house, barn and property from 8am-Midnight. There really isn't any other deal like this if you are wanting a venue for more than five hours. If you are planning on Peirce Farm, I strongly recommend using Vinwood Catering. Because Peirce Farm doesn't supply linens, flatware, glassware or a bar, it is best to chose a catering company that includes all of these, or else you will spend so much time trying to find places where you can rent these. Vinwood is the most familiar with Peirce Farm, and the two together made our wedding go so smoothly. One of our favorite things about the venue is that it's beauty doesn't depend on the weather, so we didn't have to stress about our wedding being ruined by rain or cold weather. It made the planning process so much more relaxing. Our wedding was an absolute dream! -

Perfection!
This venue is perfection- sophisticated and laid back at the same time. We worked with Bill and Candice who were both absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. We know we wanted a barn wedding but were shocked to see how expensive some other venues were. Then we stumbled onto Peirce Farm and were shocked at the low cost and availability. This venue really is a hidden gem and we were so fortunate to find it when we did. Looking back, I cannot imagine a better place to get married. The weather on our wedding day was practically apocalyptic- it poured down rain the entire day and the wind was gushing over 30 mph. Despite this, Bill and his team were amazing and somehow managed to get the entire wedding party from the manor house to the barn without getting completely drenched. They helped me laugh off the weather and acted like they did this sort of thing every day (probably because they do). Bill was so calm that it kept me calm and that alone is priceless. They also allowed our two dogs to be part of the wedding and treated them like members of the wedding party (which they were). If you’re lucky enough to get married at Peirce Farm you will NOT regret it!! -

We had our wedding at Peirce Farm on 11.22.19 and it was everything I could ever hoped it would be. M photographer took me into the venue before the guests arrived and I just cried. It was breathtaking and my vision was brought to life. The staff at Peirce Farm were so helpful and attentive, I just can’t say enough. I know I’m partial because it’s my wedding, but it is by far the most classy elegant venue I have ever seen! Fill that with our own personal touches and my god....it was amazing!!!!!! Thank you Peirce Farm for the amazing memories

We booked Peirce Farm immediately after getting engaged. As soon as we walked on the property we knew it was exactly what we wanted. With everything all in one place, getting ready in the farm house, ceremony on the lawn, and reception in the barn, it made the day go so smoothly. Our fall wedding had the perfect backdrop, our pictures look like artwork! Everyone working at Peirce Farm is great and was so helpful through the whole process. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous rustic wedding on the north shore. -

Peirce Farm was the first of four venues we visited, and we booked it almost immediately, a little under 1.5 years out from our date. Sean, Candice, Bill, and their whole team will make your day a breeze, and the venue is absolutely magical. It’s so flexible for a number of different aesthetics and settings, and it was perfect that we could have all of our day’s events there AND bring in our own vendors. They were incredibly consistent and quick with email replies throughout the months (or year!) leading up to our wedding, and were beyond helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the best day of our lives. -

The two beat things about this venue are freedom and beauty. It is absolutely gorgeous there. The landscape, the house, the barn, the views. It’s just great.
They also give you the freedom to choose any combination of vendors you wish. Unlike a lot of other places, where you have very few options for catering, bar service, etc., here, you can do things exactly as YOU want.
Lastly, communication was terrific. They were always easy to get a hold of, and provide as much or as little guidance as you need. -

I worked with Candice the day of my wedding, things leading up to the big day were outstanding! It was a wet day when we got married but Candice knew my dream was to be married outside, so we picked the terrace instead of the back yard as it was dryer and she watched the weather on an app and we made the final call two hours before the ceremony and it rained before and after (light sprinkles) but the ceremony itself was dry! Whole experience was a dream come true! Thank you Candice for your help and reassurance that day! -

I am very excited to write this review because it is so well deserved!
We got married on Winter Solstice under the full moon and I can not imagine my wedding anywhere else in the world.
Peirce Farm is simply one of the most magical venues on the North Shore. The house and barn are so beautiful; each in their own way.
The house was an elegant backdrop for pictures and to get ready for the ceremony. It was decorated beautifully and the oversized hand carved stairway was gorgeous. We were allowed to use the house from 8AM-11PM the day of our wedding. There were ample rooms to have hair and make up done and to simply relax before the ceremony.
The barn where we got married and had our reception will forever be one of my favorite places. The energy and atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. As we were decorating it; we just wanted to be there as long as possible.
It was a stormy wedding night and the barn was lit with twinkling lights, candles and a fire in the floor to ceiling fireplace. It made the reception of 130 feel like we were in an intimate setting without feeling crowded.
But by far one of the best things about Peirce Farm is Bill and Candice. They are the terrific hosts and helped us with every detail for the reception set up. I even changed the floor plan last minute and Bill accommodated me with a calm and kind manner. Candice made sure the reception went off like clockwork and ran back and forth with oversized umbrellas for the guests and our wedding party. They put in so much effort and made our night seamless. I can not thank them enough.
My only regret is that I do not have another event this year to rent this spectacular venue. -

You can tell they are in it for the couple, not for the profit. I love the fact that you can have the venue the whole day- getting in there, setting up, and getting ready makes the entire day smooth sailing. I had my entire family from NC fly in for the wedding and it was awesome they didn't have to travel to the reception. The natural beauty and the timeless style of this venue made it the perfect spot for my wedding. I can't sing the praise enough of Peirce Farm. 12/10 stars!

All of our guests continue to talk about how beautiful it was. This venue is very special. The combination of a Victorian mansion, the pristine landscaping of the terrace and the elegant, and beautifully restored barn, made our dream of a perfect rustic wedding come true! We loved being free to utilize the entire venue, for the whole day. Our guests loved being able to dance in the barn and retreat to play yard games outside, in the lawn. The fountain was a great unexpected feature that was aesthetically pleasing and was a beautiful backdrop for our photos. Sean was easy going, accessible. There was even a staff member available to assist us with packing up our belongings, the day after our wedding. All in all, Peirce Farm at Witch Hill was the perfect venue for our beautiful rustic wedding! We are so thankful to have found this venue and we are happy to recommend it to any future bride and groom! Additionally, We live in the Boston area and the location of Topsfield, Mass. was very convenient for our guests. We utilized the nearby Double Tree Hotel, which made the commute very easy. -

Incredible venue
My husband and I got married on 9/9/23 and it was an INCREDIBLE day! We knew Peirce Farm at Witch Hill was the perfect venue for us the moment we saw it. We went back a total of three times before our wedding and Bill and Candace were the most kind and accommodating people. They were so warm and welcoming, gave us facts about the property and the history, and answered all of our many questions. Each time we visited we truly felt as though we were visiting friends. The atmosphere is so charming and classic New England. We were specifically looking for an elevated rustic venue when we began our search. We loved how Peirce Farm had not only the refinished barn, but also a beautiful estate, and lovely grounds for outdoor ceremony/cocktail uses. The grounds were gorgeous and we also loved the flexibility of the venue. It was great to have the venue all day to ensure the bridal party could get ready on site and to complete all of the photos prior to the ceremony. The venue comes with so many things that could be additional charges at other places such as (arbor, ceremony chairs, chiavari walnut chairs for the reception, cafe string lighting, etc.). I could gush about the venue and its beauty all day long, but the thing that stood out to me the most was how incredible the staff is at Peirce! We had some last minute weather blow in on our day (I’m talking 10 minutes prior to the ceremony), and Candace handled everything so calmly and so professionally. Because of the knowledge and efficiency of the staff we were able to successfully have our ceremony outdoors! A little rain didn't take away from the experience at all! I could not recommend Peirce Farm enough to everyone and anyone. It’s a wonderful mix of rustic and elegant charm. All of our guests were so impressed with the venue and the grounds, raving about the beauty of the venue itself and the setting. This is the PERFECT venue with the most amazing folks who run it. My partner Britt and I got married at Peirce on 9/17/22. We toured 4-5 rustic venues in MA and Peirce was hands down the winner. While there are countless gorgeous rustic venues in New England, we went with Peirce because what we were getting for our money was so much more than the other venues, plus the Peirce team is SO laid back and flexible. For example, most venues we spoke with/saw would charge so much extra for small details, like hundreds of dollars in fees to hang up string lights, whereas Peirce just has them up! They care about their couples and are not trying to upcharge at every turn. Not to mention, the venue itself is gorgeous. We loved that there were distinct places for getting ready vs. ceremony vs. cocktail hour vs. reception, but that everything was close-by and all on the one property. We worked a lot with Candace who was so sweet, we also got a great tour from Bill who knows a ton of fun historic facts about the venue. We couldn't be happier with the venue!

So glad we had our wedding here! It was absolutely beautiful and had a perfect combination of everything we were looking for - the house for getting ready, the grounds for our ceremony, the terrace for cocktail hour, and the barn for the reception. Having the whole venue to ourselves for the full day was a huge plus too!! Our only complaint is that during our parent dances, our DJ couldn’t figure out how to turn down the main lights in the barn (maybe this was his responsibility to know?) and no one was around to help. A bridesmaid eventually found someone in the house but it was a little awkward in the interim. Knowing this ahead of time would have been helpful but otherwise everything was perfect. -

Beautiful venue that you can truly make your own. Everything turned out just as planned. Difficult for us brides through the Covid rescheduling but Bill was a dream to deal with from start to finish. The grounds, scenery and barn are perfect for the type of wedding we desired. Be sure to figure your dance floor space and guest list first. Peirce Farm was an excellent choice for us. We loved having our wedding at Pierce Farm! The venue was beautiful, especially with the fall weather and farmland in the back. Having the home to get ready in was an added bonus for my wedding party, too!
Candice (the owner) was professional from start to finish. She communicated with us every step of the way when COVID made us pivot our plans. They made it look magical outside with a tent and beautiful grounds. -

We got married on October 5, 2019 and had a beautiful day that we will always remember. The weather was amazing, and our ceremony was more perfect than we could ever have imagined. This venue is gorgeous and the website/instagram does not do it justice. While we had an amazing wedding day, unfortunately we cannot recommend getting married here as our experience 3 weeks prior was extremely negative and beyond stressful.
The venue and their managers should always be helpful, kind, respectful, solution oriented, and should always put their clients first. This is not the treatment we received.
