Essential Foundation for my Dream Wedding

PSR was the first venue I looked at online, and I immediately knew it was special. It hit all the marks for what I needed: beautiful outdoor spaces, both indoor/outdoor options, can accommodate a large wedding size, great bad-weather options, and (the best) drink donkeys! Most importantly for me, it was a peaceful and gorgeous blank slate for me to add all the unique flares and vendors I envisioned.

Brittany was my coordinator and she was awesome! Super responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond both in the planning process and during the actual event.

Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful, inviting, and comfortable the venue was. My favorite comment I heard was “It just feels so good here, I don’t want to leave!”

There were the cutest/coolest sophisticated and ranchy spots both in the outdoor spaces and indoor spaces that our guests loved hanging out at and snapping photos at. We had a great time taking photos in the natural grasses but enjoyed the manicured ceremony site.

PSR knows what they’re doing and they know the business. I was able to have the wedding of my dreams!!! Thanks Brittany and PSR!!!

Venue Pecan Springs Ranch

This venue provided us with the perfect location to have our wedding day. Close to Austin, plenty of hotels and Airbnb's close by, Preferred vendors list was very helpful! Would definitely recommend them.

Perfect Venue

Amazing Venue

Most Beautiful Venue in Austin!!

Pecan Springs Ranch has it all! Beautiful ceremony locations (multiple to choose from), a large & beautiful ballroom for the indoor option and even a covered outdoor pavilion for rain plan ceremonies, cocktail hour & dance floors. The lights at night are magical and only enhance the view both inside and out! You should see the bridal house! Lots of space for the bridal party to come in and they offer such a long rental period so you can really use it the entire day. I cannot rave enough about how pristine the grounds that are kept year round and there is no off month at this venue, every month has its beauty from grounds & venue itself! Best venue in Austin!

Perfect venue!

Pecan Springs Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding! The space felt intimate and cozy, but still has a lot of options for ceremony spots, photos and ways to decorate. The bridal cottage had a ton of space for our bridal party and family members, while feeling right at home. And the staff was amazing to work with— friendly, responsive, and committed to making our wedding day perfect!

Beautiful wedding venue in Austin TX

I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience working with Pecan Springs Ranch was. The venue is gorgeous and offers so many different locations to have pictures taken throughout the night to give you tons of variety. They had multiple ceremony site locations and when we wanted to do something a little different they were happy to work with us and get everything just right. The grounds are immaculately kept and everything was in bloom for our April wedding, adding even more color. They were prompt with communication and very straight forward on the terms of the contract. Their preferred vendor list helped us to find many of the vendors we ended up working with which was super helpful as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue if you are hoping to have an outdoor ceremony with a beautiful indoor reception space. The bridal cottage was also the perfect place to get ready making wedding day even easier as we were already on location for hair & make-up!!

The BEST wedding venue in Austin!

We are SO thankful we chose Pecan Springs Ranch as our wedding venue! It was the very last venue we looked at during our initial planning after looking at about 13 venues and at the end of the tour we knew it was the one! We loved the open space and hill country feel. We also loved the location and how close it was to downtown Austin! They have SO many options for ceremony sites which makes this venue very unique and makes for amazing photo backdrops. We worked with Brittany as our venue coordinator and contact and she was AMAZING! She was so incredibly helpful and kind. She answered any and all of our questions and we cannot imagine planning our wedding without her. We had the Opie and Sassy as the “drink” donkeys for our cocktail hour and they were a HIT! Guests could not stop commenting about the donkeys and what a fun touch it was at the wedding! The bridal cottage at this venue is a DREAM and the perfect place to get ready with so much room. We truly cannot say enough great things about Pecan Springs and cannot imagine our wedding anywhere else!

Amazing Experience at a Gorgeous Venue!

My husband and I had to postpone our original wedding date from 4/25/2020 to 12/4/2020, and everyone at Pecan Springs was a dream to work with during such a stressful time with the pandemic! They were so supportive of us and answered my hundreds of questions with professionalism. All of our guest were so impressed by the gorgeous space and VERY well maintained and landscaped grounds. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor space for social distancing and the venue provides hand sanitizer everywhere. The bridal cottage is perfect for getting ready on site and all of our vendors had an easy time loading in! We loved every part of this venue and are so glad we chose to have our wedding here. Can't recommend more highly!

Best wedding ever

Absolutely hands down the most polite, accommodating, receptive, pleasant, attentive staff in the industry. If you’re looking at other venues it’s a mistake. We started our wedding planning pre Covid-19 for a reception/ceremony on 5/29/20 and Pecan Springs Ranch and their staff stood by our side (adhering to the Governors requirements) 100% of the time. When hiccups arose with our caterer they proactively sought out additional willing to duplicate our menu. When I wasn’t able to get to the venue to re-ice down butterflies for my brides ceremony surprise butterfly release, management took it upon theirselves to make sure everything was taken care of. During these trying times Pecan Springs Ranch and staff were a warm embrace in making sure my wife had her perfect day. I can’t express it enough, guaranteed not another venue or staff even close to the attentiveness of ours at PSR. We are and forever will be eternally grateful to them.

Perfect Venue

Pecan Springs Ranch is the most amazing place to get married at. Everything went so smoothly and turned out so beautiful on our big day. I would recommend this venue over and over. Absolutely Beautiful Venue

When choosing a venue there are quite a few things to take into consideration: space, style, location, etc.... Pecan Springs Ranch had it all! Not only is it beautiful but my guests could not get over the amount of space that was offered giving them the flexibility to move about and not be cramped in one area. The bridal cottage was perfect for my bridal party. The groomsmen suite was plenty of room for my husband and his guys. They offer 3 ceremony sites, all beautiful, but we opted for the fireplace which was absolutely breathtaking. Working with them was easy and they allowed our dogs which was an added bonus. I cannot recommend it enough!

Weather Washout Created the Best Wedding Ever !

So, we planned our wedding, understanding the May rain chance for an outdoor event. 30 mins before the ceremony started, the heavens opened up (including a small tornado), flooding the back area of PSR preventing the use of the Pavilion for the ceremony and outdoors for the Reception. The Pecan Springs Ranch folks were OUTSTANDING throughout. They kept us updated on changes, gave us running options and seamlessly worked with the vendors to reorient the wedding indoors, where we had a very polished, romantic and MEMORABLE evening ! PSR receives our highest and strongest recommendation. This could have been the disaster of all time - instead, because of PSR, it was the most unforgettably wonderful for all the right reasons. Thank you Bill, Judy, Paige and all the staff for all you do to serve your customers with kindness, compassion and professionalism. You are truly a family who cares about the customer's experience. Caring Venue

We loved our day at Pecan Springs Ranch

Pecan Springs Ranch was the most beautiful venue. Judy and Kerbey were so great to work with ever since we booked it a year and a half ago. They were responsive to emails, answered questions, helped us with set up ideas on the day of. We used a lot of their preferred vendors who were all amazing. There are so many adorable spots to take pictures on the property. Everything was perfect on our wedding day and we can't thank them enough.

Pecan Springs Ranch was my daughter's venue for her wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased. I'm from out of town so planning a wedding which I have never done before, in a strange city was a bit overwhelming!!! PSR can accommodate up to 300-350 guests and has several areas where any bride can get married to satisfy their needs. The owner, Judy Smith was so helpful. Anytime I had a question, she would be sure to get back to me as soon as she could. PSR has a list of vendors that you can choose from to handle anything a bride might be wanting for their big day. Every vendor I used were familiar with how things work at the ranch so I did not have to worry about any no shows. Everyone did their job on time and were very helpful and very professional.
I decided to hire Judy's daughter, Paige as our wedding coordinator and she also did our flowers. The flowers were absolutely exquisite and her coordination of our daughter's wedding was spot on. If there was any problem, she would let you know immediately and then she would handle it.
It has been almost two months since the wedding and i still have friends calling me to let me know how great the wedding was and they loved Pecan Springs Ranch. I would highly recommend any bride to choose PSR as their wedding venue.
PS They have donkeys to carry your beer around at the reception which was just one of the highlights of the evening.
My daughter and her husband had one comment when it was all over. They wished it could have lasted longer. I think that says it all.

Pecan Springs was a fantastic wedding venue. The staff was beyond helpful and made our entire wedding day so much less stressful. One particular staff member, Jenny, was especially kind and attentive, and pitched in when we had a decorating snafu. Our daughter and son in laws wedding was at Pecan Springs in June 2018. The venue was just beautiful! The weather cooperated for the ceremony! The ceremony site, decor and reception space optimized the concept of romantic and rustic elegant. Most of our guests came from out of town and enjoyed all that the ranch had to offer! We loved the bridal cottage! The staff was excellent. Be prepared to rent additional pieces to make your event special. The wedding and the venue were just amazing!

Pecan Springs Ranch was so amazing in every single way. From the amazingly cared for landscape to wonderful staff members and everything in between. Kerbey, Judy and Paige Smith made sure that our day was so special and they took such good care of my husband and I. The Pecan Springs Ranch Drink Donkeys made an appearance and they just made our friends and families night. Lots of selfies were taken with those beautiful and sweet animals. I have not stopped getting wonderful compliments about your venue and how smoothly everything ran. My entire family was more than taking care of. We saw this venue and we fell in love! The grounds are amazing to explore. Our guests were blown away with all the different things to do and see. There were many pictures taken that day! The bridal cottage has everything a bride needs. The groom's room was just what was needed! The showstoppers and only competition the bride had for attention were Sassy and Opie, the miniature donkeys. They came out ready for the party and were a great source of entertainment for our guests during cocktail hour. The staff did an amazing job, answering questions for us and letting us visit whenever we could. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

Pecan Springs Ranch was PERFECT for our wedding day festivities and the staff was incredible to work with throughout the whole process. We got married during Hurricane Harvey so everything had to be literally everything had to be adjusted or completely changed right up to wedding day. They handled all the changes with grace and kindness. They shared their expertise while being so sensitive to all that was going on. Truly a great experience! All my guests were just gushing over the beautiful property as well! I had a really large bridal party and the bridal house was so much fun for us to all be together and get ready in! Because of all the rain, it ended up being where we took our bride and groom photos as well, just so pretty! Would HIGHLY recommend this venue!

I booked Pecan Springs Ranch not even a week after we were engaged. It was probably the second or third venue I came across when I was searching online. I was immediately obsessed and knew it was where I wanted to get married. No other venues compared. We went on a tour and it was even more beautiful than the pictures. They have so much land and the grass is so green, trees are beautiful and provide lots of shade. We got married in June so this was important to me! Everyone was so helpful and answered my tons of questions promptly. They have a cute bridal cottage on site where my bridesmaids and I got ready. At one point we had probably 15 people in there and I still felt like there was enough space for everyone. They have a pretty good size grooms den as well for the guys! Opie and Sassy, the drink donkeys are a MUST! Our guests loved them and thought they were the coolest things ever. SO worth the extra money. They have a huge inventory of items that you can rent to use at your wedding. From signs, additional seating, decorations, pretty much anything you would need. The prices of these items range from around $5-$100. I rented extra decorative tables, couches and chairs for cocktail hour, a variety of signs, a cake stand, and many other items. Having this option available definitely took the stress off of me when it came to creating or purchasing these items. They also provide you with an extensive list of “Preferred Vendors” which was extremely helpful when planning everything. There is tons of space at Pecan Springs Ranch. We had around 240 guests at our wedding and I never felt like we were too cramped. We had a food truck, photo booth, cigar roller, and the included lawn games outside. I had lots of guests tell me how much they loved that the venue was so open and spaced out. Our wedding day was perfect and exactly what I dreamed it would be. I highly recommend booking PSR for your wedding!! You won’t regret it!

I guess I'll start this out by saying a huge THANK YOU to Pecan Springs Ranch - seriously, without this venue our wedding day would have not been nearly as magical! Kerbey was truly phenomenal to work with, responding quickly to all of my emails and questions (sometimes within just minutes) and being so accommodating of all of our plans. The venue itself is so beautiful, and we received so many compliments on the gorgeous scenery and landscaping, as well as the ceremony site, pavilion, Love Shack, and other little details. The space is perfect - we had just over 100 guests, and they had a blast roaming around the property playing lawn games, taking photos, etc. Even with a small-ish sized group I think we managed to make use of the whole space in one way or another, which was great. Of all of the wonderful vendors we used, Pecan Springs Ranch was hands-down the one that played the biggest role in making our day so special, beautiful, and memorable. We've even received comments from several guests that it was the best wedding they've ever been to! Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing!

Pecan Springs Ranch is an absolutely perfect wedding venue! It's located in one of the most beautiful settings, with wide open spaces, beautiful trees, creeks and ponds, vintage cabins, vintage house (aka-bridal cottage), a covered pavilion, and a large building for hosting the reception. Wedding pictures taken here are unbelievable! Judy & Dub (the owners) are friendly and so accommodating. Paige, our wedding coordinator, was incredible! Our friends/family are still talking about our reception! If you get a chance to have your wedding at this wonderful venue, DO IT! You'll give your friends/family something to talk about, too!

I can't put into words how happy I am with my decision to choose Pecan Springs Ranch as my wedding venue! Not only is it an absolutely gorgeous venue, the staff was so nice to work with and the service provided was beyond my expectations. I will start with the look and feel of the venue itself. It was perfect for the vibe I was going for - Texas hill country mixed with country chic vintage charm. I had my ceremony under the oak trees and it was absolutely magical. The tin roof covered pavillion provided a nice rain plan that didn't take away the hill country backdrop and gave me peace of mind when the forecast was unpredictable the morning of the wedding. The reception hall was gorgeous! The perfect balance of rustic and formal. My guests raved about how beautiful everything was and I was told multiple times it was the best venue they had ever been to.
As for the staff, i couldn't have been happier. They were so nice, helpful, organized, professional... I could go on and on. I have a huge appreciation for good service and it's pretty rare to find people who genuinely enjoy making their customers happy. Thank you to the PSR staff for your contribution to my happiness on the best day of my life! (And the several months leading up to it!)

Pecan Springs Ranch was an amazing venue! Kerbey and Judy are extremely responsive - I always got a response right away, no matter how small the question. The property is gorgeous and made for amazing photos. My guests had a blast, and so did my husband and I! Since you are only getting the actual site at PSR, you need to bring in everything else - caterer, florist, clean-up crew, linens, etc. - but it's worth it. You get a beautiful outdoor Texas wedding experience.

This venue was everything we could have ever imagined and more. It was absolutely the best decision we made and our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they LOVED it. I highly recommend Pecan Springs Ranch for a Texas wedding. I can not say enough about Pecan Springs Ranch! The venue is amazing in so many ways. The location easy from both Austin and Dripping Springs, the ceremony and receptions sites SO Beautiful, the landscape both natural and manicured. And the staff is among the most professional and creative I have worked with. They care deeply for their clients and helping them through one of the most special days! Pecan Springs Ranch (PSR) is seriously the best venue to get married! Not only is the venue gorgeous but also the people who run PSR (Kerby and Judy) are so incredibly wonderful! Our wedding was on August 8th 2015 and it was the best day of our lives. This is normally an extremely hot time in Texas. Kerby and Judy worked with us to make us feel comfortable that they would do everything in their power to keep the venue and ceremony site as cool as possible. The day of the wedding, the grass had been watered and the big pecan trees shaded the ceremony site so well, that the heat wasn’t even a thought in anyone’s minds. The A/C in the pavilion was perfect and we all danced the night away comfortably. The bridal cottage and grooms room were perfect to get ready in! The entire venue site is so beautiful that we didn’t have to spend a lot with decorations or flowers. My husband and I joke that we want to do the wedding all over again so we can enjoy that day in slow motion. If it wasn’t for PSR and the people who run it, that thought to relieve the wedding day would never be talked about. I strongly recommend you use PSR for your wedding venue! They will take care of you and you will have the best day of your life just like my husband and I!!

I booked PSR just days after I got engaged and didn’t bother to look anywhere else; I didn’t need to. This venue has a phenomenal atmosphere and wonderful staff! Brittany, Judy and Kerbey were so helpful in providing information to their brides, answering questions and even providing advice. I didn’t worry about a thing on my wedding day and I had a blast getting ready in the beautiful bride’s cottage. The photo opportunities here are hard to beat and the day flowed smoothly from the ceremony under the trees to the pavilion for cocktail hour and then the reception in the main building. I got so many compliments on the venue and my out of town visitors were in awe of how beautiful Texas can be. I can’t thank them enough for their help in making my wedding better than I imagined it could be! Great staff and a beautiful, well-cared-for venue!

We could not have imagined a better venue for our big day than Pecan Springs Ranch! From the moment we laid eyes on the facilities, we fell in love. The grounds are gorgeous, and the option for having ceremony + reception on the same site was a deal breaker for us. The ranch is the perfect mix of elegance and hill country charm and our guests had a WONDERFUL time relaxing and partying with us, indoors and out. It was the best evening and we've received so many compliments!

The venue is gorgeous and the owners were delightful to work with while always quickly responding to all our needs. Pecan Springs Ranch provided the fairy tale wedding which my daughter desired. They listened to her vision and provided the exact atmosphere which she wanted. It was comfortable, relaxed and tasteful for all the variety of guests to enjoy themselves. We enjoyed many comments that Pecan Springs Ranch was the best wedding venue which the guests had ever experienced.
We would highly recommend the venue and owners to anyone looking for the perfect wedding setting.

My fiancé and I fell in love with Pecan Springs Ranch as soon as we got out of the car and smelled the fresh scent of cedar. This was the first venue that we looked out and knew that we didn’t need to look any further. As we took our tour, we started imagining what our wedding would look like here and how much our family and friends would love celebrating our wedding at this completely beautiful venue. It’s everything you could possibly want. There are such sweet touches of traditional Texas style ranch with that rustic, yet modern feeling though ought the ranch. The vastness of the ranch gives you endless opportunities to transform it into whatever your heart desires. I attended several of the ‘open-houses’ to get ideas on how I would transform this incredible ranch into the wedding of our dreams, which is exactly how it turned out. The support and care from the Pecan Springs Ranch team is so genuine and they went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was as flawless and as gorgeous as I imagined. They were very prompt in responding to any and all of my questions and kept in informed of any changes and updates throughout the entire process. As the rain continued to pour into early May, I didn’t even think about the possibility of needing a rain plan for our wedding over Memorial Day. I had visions of the kids running around playing lawn games and getting married under the giant oak trees. Well, Mother Nature, had other ideas for this weekend. Despite all the crazy weather (flooding, lightening, and even sheltering in place for a tornado), we still had the most amazing wedding day ever and wouldn’t change a thing. The Pecan Springs Ranch staff quickly adjusted all of our plans to account for the weather and made everything just perfect. They kept the safety of our guests as priority and ensured the celebration continued without a a single hiccup. I can’t thank Pecan Springs Ranch enough for making our wedding the most incredible and memorable day of our lives!

Pecan Springs Ranch had everything we were looking for in a wedding venue: beautiful grounds, charming design, spaces for outdoor ceremonies and a big dining hall, spaces for getting ready, a pavilion for cocktail hour, a large back porch, and easy accessibility. The staff, including Kerbey, were very friendly and always replied to emails or calls quickly with answers. On the day of our wedding there was flooding after a torrential downpour and even a brief power outage, but the staff worked tirelessly to get a generator going for the bridal shack so the hair & makeup team could keep working. With our planner's help we had a solid rain plan and the staff even moved our cocktail hour back out to the pavilion after the sun came out before the ceremony. All our guests and their kids had a great time enjoying the grounds and lawn games, too! We couldn't have been happier with how Pecan Springs Ranch helped make our wedding day fantastic.

We used Pecan Springs Ranch for our February 2015 wedding and it was an absolute dream! We didn't have a big budget or a certain 'look' in mind for our wedding. We wanted simple, elegant and a little bit of Texas mixed in. With just that in mind, the ladies at PSR created the most beautiful and stunning wedding for us! Everything about our experiene there was phenomenal. Not only were we impressed, but our wedding guests are STILL talking about it! The most common comment we recieved was "I've been to a lot of weddings, and this by far was the most beautifull wedding I've attended." About 80% of our 75 guests were from out of state, so we knew by having our wedding at PSR, we would get the wow-factor and get to show off the natural beauty of Austin and the Hill Country. We loved everything, including the well maintained grounds, all of the decor rentals they have available, the expertise of their staff to answer all of my questions, the perfect mix of modern amenities in a venue with the rustic, vintage charm, the private and intimate feeling, and how easygoing the whole atmosphere was. We really can't say enough compliments of this venue and their staff to make my little wedding dream a reality. Thank you to Paige, Kerbey, Brittany and Judy for all of your hard work, high attention to detail and your amazing support on our big day. You created a goregous wedding for us and now we can really say it was our best day ever!

Pecan Springs Ranch truly went above and beyond to make our day VERY special for us. The owners and staff made us feel very comfortable. It was the perfect place for our wedding because we love the outdoors but wanted to have a nice sit down dinner indoors. We also loved it because none of our friends or family have been there, its new so all your friends and family will love it too!! Why go to the same wedding venue over and over again for all your friends wedding? If you are looking for a nice outdoor but also indoor wedding venue this is the perfect place.We had a large crowd and we had plenty of room to move about. Pecan Springs Ranch is by far one of the best venues I have had the pleasure of attending a wedding at. The family who owns this venue bends over backwards and goes above and beyond to assure everyone that their wedding is top priority and that they have the perfect day. The venue grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained landscaping wise. The venue itself is beautiful and the lighting at night is beyond gorgeous. Everyone kept telling my sister what an amazing, charming place it was and how beautiful her wedding was. Thank you Pecan Springs Ranch for a magical time. My sisters wedding was perfection because of you all! The In-House florist Paige did a spectacular job as well on all of the flowers and also went above and beyond. It was so romantic and warm.

Although PSR is on the higher side for venue you pay for what you get. You get to utilize the entire venue and move the wedding around. We chose to have our wedding under the big oak tree out in the back, then move under the pavilion for cocktail hour and lastly move up to the main venue for the reception with a photo booth outside under the patio. The staff was on top of everything at all times always coming up to make sure we the bride and groom and my parents ever needed anything and if we were good. The major positive to this venue is that the owners daughter Paige Smith has her own business as a wedding coordinator. I would highly highly recommend hiring her regardless of your venue but especially if you are using PSR as your venue- who can know better about a venue of what works best and what doesn't than a coordinator whose second home is basically that venue. We were above satisfied with everything about this venue- so happy we chose it!!

My daughter's wedding was here. It was a wonderful evening. So many things are included in the rental fee and Judy is so easy to work with. Plenty of room for seating and buffet and dancing. Our guests all loved the venue.

Pecan Springs Ranch was an absolutely magical place to have our daughter's wedding. We loved having the ceremony and reception all at one beautiful and unique place. They have a variety of choices to hold the ceremony in case the weather didn't cooperate and the reception hall fit 275 guests comfortably. The owners went above and beyond to make every detail beautiful. Dub even flew the "Come and Take It" flag for the groom. Paige and Judy worked hard making this wedding spectacular and one we will never forget.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Pecan Springs Ranch is unbelievable. If you are going for Texas chic/vintage/rustic, whatever, this is the PERFECT place. The grounds are GORGEOUS and amazingly well maintained with SO many options for ceremony area, rain option (large covered pavilion), bar areas, lawn games, patio furniture, outdoor lighting… etc etc etc. The main house is beautiful- dark brown floor with gorgeous vaulted ceilings with exposed dark brown beams- with so many creative touches and accommodating for large groups- we had 215 and there was plenty of room for everyone and a large dancefloor. Judy and Paige are so helpful, so quick to reply with questions/requests, so flexible with requests, and super personable- they went above and beyond- there were touches that I hadn't even asked for that they did- so well done, I cannot say enough! Best venue EVER!!!!

We LOVED Pecan Springs Ranch!! The staff were friendly and Judy always responded to emails in a timely manner, no matter what time of day and even on the weekends. The staff went above and beyond to prepare the venue. They planted flowers around the trees the morning of the event, wiped everything down inside and out to make it look new, and even put WD 40 on the gate to make it not squeak! All of the little things they did to make the venue look nice and to make sure we knew what was going on made all of the difference in my stress level during the event. I knew it would all look nice, but I had no idea they would go so above and beyond. A couple of weeks before the event, I talked with Judy extensively about everything, and she was so great! They hung lanterns for me, and it looked gorgeous. I can't talk highly enough about PSR and the team there. All of my guests LOVED it, too! And the flexibility we had with bringing in our own vendors was wonderful. Our event was FABULOUS and PSR made everything run so smoothly.

PSR was an amazing wedding venue for our Indian wedding! We looked at many wedding venues in Austin and this one was really perfect for us. We did have to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic, and while this was difficult, the staff were professional to work with throughout the process. We unfortunately had to move our date twice, and we paid a rescheduling fee only the second time. There is so much natural beauty and multiple outdoor locations with a beautiful vintage rustic feel. There is a beautiful ranch area that is built out with covered patio areas, swings, benches, and fun outdoor lawn games. Our guests loved being able to explore the grounds and the reception hall was lovely as well. The bridal suite was also very spacious. We had flexibility to have an outdoor traditional indian ceremony followed by a cocktail hour, then an indoor reception with an open bar. The PSR staff worked with us, our planner and our outside vendors to make everything run smoothly the day of. The staff were responsive/helpful and we did two walkthroughs. They also had rentals/add ons such as a donut wall and sweetheart tables that we chose from during the walk through! We are so happy we got married at PSR.

Amazing Venue!

We selected PSR as our wedding venue prior to Covid-19 hitting the US and it turned out to unintentionally be the best decision we ever made. PSR was the perfect venue for hosting our wedding outdoors with a variety of different outdoor spaces including a fireplace, multiple covered outdoor pavilions, a patio, lawn space, swings, etc. Our guests really enjoyed everything that PSR had to offer, especially the cocktail hour donkeys! Diane was very easy to work with during the wedding planning process and was very responsive with answering any questions we had along the way.

This venue is hands down breath-taking. The venue is so big and well kept that you don't need much added decorations for your guests to leave the night saying "wow!" We also got the drink donkey for 2 additional hours, and that is 100% worth it. All we had for our cocktail hour was a meat/cheese station, popcorn bar, beer/wine, and the drink donkeys and people were entertained the full hour and half until the reception. The reception was big and open, and fit 260+ people pretty easily without people feeling cramped. We had Brittany as our property site manager for the day of our wedding and she was truly phenomenal. I think the only thing that kept this from being 5 stars across the board was that we had different communication preferences and styles. In the end, everything that needed to be communicated, got communicated, so nothing worth nothing that would be concerning. I would highly recommend this for your big day!

Pecan Springs Ranch is such a wonderful venue. Everything about it is perfect. Most of the venues are beautiful out in the Hill Country, so the thing that really set Pecan Springs Ranch apart from the others to me and my husband is the amount of land and that you get the venues for the majority of the day. There is so much space and multiple locations on the property to have your ceremony or reception. The natural beauty of the outdoors means you don't have to spend money on decorations. They have great rentals to choose from at better prices then most rental companies. They even have a great back up if it starts to rain, so brides who have their heart set on an outdoor wedding (like me!) don't have to stress. They don't make you use their vendor list, but I suggest you do! It narrows down most of the vendors in the area, and they are the absolute best. They make having a wedding easy. And don't forget the drink donkeys :) I would definitely recommend Pecan Springs Ranch to anyone looking for the perfect Texas Hill Country Wedding!

This place is as beautiful as the pictures. We chose Pecan Springs Ranch for the natural beauty, large outdoor spaces (a must for large weddings with children), unique décor that comes with the property, covered outdoor area for a rain back-up plan (this is Texas, after all), and large luxurious bridal cottage that can accommodate all the family and friends you want around you on your special day. Judy and her team were very helpful and accommodating and even squeezed us in for visits at odd times since we live out of town. We needed a small fire for our Hindu wedding ceremony and this was not a problem. The option to pick your own vendors will save you tons of money! And all of the PSR preferred vendors we worked with were great. The property has endless options for photos, well-kept lawns and flowers, and your biggest problem will be deciding how to utilize all of the great spaces. We definitely recommend PSR. One tip - don't let them charge you a fee to pay by credit card, this isn't allowed under the Texas Finance Code.

Brittany was excellent. Her customer service, caring disposition and understanding of planning a wedding (for a first timer) was outstanding. She was excellent!! Kerbey was very professional and helpful. She was available to us every time we had a question. This venue was beautiful. My step-daughter fell in love with the venue at first sight -- much like she did with her fiancée (now husband) so this place was just perfect!! The evening wedding couldn't have been more beautiful with all the lights and perfectly manicured lawn. My step-daughter got married in front of the fire place -- but, all the options were just as delightful.

I loved my venue so much! Everyone complimented on it and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had a little miscommunication with one of the coordinators but we got it resolved. I would definitely recommend this venue!

After just a few minutes of visiting Pecan Springs Ranch, I knew it was the perfect place! Everything was beautiful the day of the wedding and with the help of BeeLavish Vintage rentals my wedding was everything hoped (& pinned on pinterest)! :) I live north of Austin and all of the wedding venues around here I have been too several times, and not that they arent beautiful, but I loved how new PSR is and I think the guests really enjoyed it too :)

My perfect wedding !

December 1 was my wedding day. It was absolutely beautiful! The venue has SO much to offer. There’s so many ceremony sights, and great photo options. My wedding was right around 300 people and everyone fit perfectly. I’m so happy we found PSR!

A dream of a place---just needs help with acoustics

It was a total dream to have our wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch and to get married under the trees. The reception hall was lovely, with ivy on the outside and floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a large covered patio. An indoor touch we especially liked were beams and wall hangings found secondhand or reclaimed from the Bastrop wildfires. The grounds were gorgeous and spacious, and guests commented on how many great places there were to congregate. People chatted on the porch, perched on the steps, and gathered in a courtyard area, and kids ran across the lawn and climbed trees. The beer donkeys were also a huge hit!

Our main complaint revolves around the indoor acoustics. Prior to the event we asked about how loud it could get inside (we knew we’d have 230 guests), and one of the staff said that sound shouldn’t be a problem. However, one of the vendors told us that the noise volume is one of Pecan Springs’s biggest issues. Indeed: guests told us how hard it was to hear during dinner and speeches, and that some of them gave up trying to talk to their table mates. Given that we can’t be the first to complain about this and that noise really impacts people’s experience: Pecan Springs, please add sound baffling!!!

Other minor issues include a big dead branch hanging right at the front of the ceremony site that the groomsmen had to pull down. Also, I (the bride) stepped in an ant pile during photos, and while I was fine, it took the photographers and my husband a long time to get them off of me. This wasn’t a big deal to me, but it ate away a good portion of the cocktail hour when we could have been mingling with guests. Totally get it that we were outside, where insects live and branches die. However, given that we had guests—including lots of kids—enjoying the grounds, it seems like the grounds team could have swept the ceremony and reception areas to make sure they were ready.

These issues notwithstanding, we had a wonderful time at the stunning Pecan Springs and highly recommend them to other couples.

Gorgeous Hill Country Venue

Pecan Springs Ranch was our second choice after our original venue was no longer an option, but it never felt like a second choice once selected. It's a stunning venue with lots of open space and unique photo opportunities (drink donkeys anyone?). They also have a vast supply of rental items that saves you from having to haul everything to and from the venue on the day of your event. Thoughtfully designed for both outdoor and indoor events.

They do seem a bit stricter than other venues when it comes to certain aspects like preferred caterers and there were a few issues of miscommunication on that aspect in the last weeks leading up to our wedding, but if given the choice I would probably choose PSR again just because of the beautiful grounds, relaxed feel, and spacious bridal cottage that made getting ready onsite a breeze.
