Amazing Venue!

Pebble Hill Plantation:

Growing up in Tallahassee, I had been to Thomasville on many occasions and visited Pebble Hill Plantation several times. When we got engaged, we toured several venues, but none compared to the to the beautiful oak trees and southern charm of Pebble Hill Plantation. Their events team was communicative and helpful throughout the planning process. They even contacted us when there was a cancellation at their Overflow Cottage because they knew that we were looking to stay on the property the night before the wedding. Elizabeth did a fantastic job making sure we had everything we needed to have an amazing event – she coordinated with several of our outside vendors so that they could deliver items prior to our wedding day. To our great surprise, their services continued throughout the event when their very helpful security services helped jump start a guest’s car. I simply cannot say enough about Pebble Hill Plantation and their events team – it is truly a special place that we will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Excellent Experience at Pebble Hill - Thank You!!!!

Our daughter was married on 2/3/24. After an extensive review and visit to the many venue options for the reception, Pebble Hill was our clear choice. Our contact was Elizabeth Pulley and she did an amazing job of helping us with the countless logistical considerations involved with a reception for >300 guests. She guided us through the many options this beautiful property has to offer. Elizabeth and the PH staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We actually had both the rehearsal dinner and reception on the PH property and both were magnificent. Would highly recommend to others. Thank You!!!!

Wedding Venue

The venue was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed on Pebble Hill in the Overflow Cottage the night before and it was amazing. Very clean and ready to go as soon as we arrived. They were all very nice and helpful along the planning process and responded quickly to emails!

Superb, prompt, professional, and personal!

Beginning with a tour of the venue through the wedding day, Pebble Hill Plantation's staff made us feel as though we were their top priority. Questions were answered promptly, access to the venue during the planning stages was provided, and set up on the wedding day was completed just as we had asked. Everyone and everything was top notch and contributed to the beautiful wedding and awesome reception. Thank you Pebble Hill!

PHP is Beautiful and Spectacular!

Pebble hill plantation has so many options when it comes to outdoor wedding venues. With so many beautiful locations, photos are never a problem. The staff was great to work with and really helped accommodate our needs when we brought them to our attention.

Worth every penny.

Choosing Pebble Hill was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! It has always been my dream wedding venue (I mean obviously, have you seen it??) but when I got engaged I was nervous that it wouldn't be in our budget. Thank goodness I did the research and took the time to really consider all the options available...Through the process, I came to the conclusion that the overall value of PHP could not be beaten! When you consider everything that is included when you get married at Pebble Hill (tables, chairs, a gorgeous venue that needs minimal decorations, highly professional staff, and an ambiance that is unmatched in the area) choosing PHP is a complete no-brainer! I can't recommend this venue enough. If you are lucky enough to find an open Saturday at PHP that will work for your wedding date, do not pass it up - book it asap! You won't regret it.

Perfect day

We had a beautiful wedding here. Absolutely the most gorgeous venue that exists, and makes for really good photos without needing to even decorate! Cara was wonderful and made my covid wedding perfect. Thank you pebble hill for the gift that night in our suite and the wedding!

The best!

Pebble Hill Plantation is incredible!! If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue look no further! Everything about the property is so timeless and elegant! There are so many options for ceremony/reception locations and every location is absolutely beautiful!!! Cara and her team are amazing and help make you feel at ease and prepared throughout the whole booking/planning process! They genuinely care about making your event all you ever wanted and will not disappoint!! We used the Sugar Hill Barn for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was the perfect spot for us! We are SO glad we went with Pebble Hill Plantation for our wedding venue :)

Pebble Hill is a beautiful venue and very well run. They know what they're doing and Cara was a pleasure to work with. I believe the price is also very reasonable for all that comes with it!

From start to finish, our experience with Pebble Hill Plantation was the best! It was truly a great value for a weekend wedding venue. We used Uno Hill Barn for the Rehearsal Dinner, the groomsmen stayed at the Overflow Cottage, the wedding ceremony was held on the front lawn of the Main House and a tented wedding reception was held around back at the arbor and Carriage Circle. We spent our first night together at the lovely Firehouse Apartment before leaving on our honeymoon. All of our out-of-town guests were very impressed with the amenities and the sheer beauty of Pebble Hill Plantation. The staff were professional, friendly and went out of their way to make my wedding truly a unique and memorable experience.

The chapel was a little ugly for the number of guest we had but it was a perfect ceremony venue and we loved the new barn! If you have a winter wedding like we did be sure to have enough heaters!!

Everything about Pebble Hill is 5 star: Beautiful grounds and the staff so easy and professional to work with. My daughter's wedding was held in Sugar Hill Barn and couldn't say enough about the whole planning process and the actual day!!!

It is very difficult to find adequate words to express my feelings for Pebble Hill and the wonderful staff there. They are top notch professionals that do their job extremely well. We felt like a member of the Pebble Hill family. Pebble Hill is exquisite and the perfect setting for a romantic wedding. We really could not have found a more beautiful place or a staff that could have worked harder to make our daughter's wedding any greater. Everything about Pebble Hill is magical and our guests walked away feeling they had been a part of an unforgettable event. I still get chill bumps just thinking of how wonderful that day was. I highly recommend renting the Over Flow Cottage and the firehouse apartment for the weekend so you can be privy to all the intimate details going on in the wedding preparation. I will always be grateful for the wonderful way we were treated and all our high expectations were more than met by everyone involved. What a fabulous venue..... you feel like you are on a movie set. Your pictures and video will look that way as well. Worth every penny!!! If you are considering Pebble Hill I would suggest booking as quickly as possible. The calendar fills up quickly.

I can't say enough good things about Pebble Hill Plantation. When our daughter's original venue cancelled on us less than three months out, we were devastated. PH was available and we couldn't be more thankful. They were amazing from beginning to end. We were planning on having the reception outside in the courtyard but when rain was forecasted, they didn't let it stop them. They waited until the very last minute to set everything up. They even had someone sweep up a massive puddle near the head table. Thank you Pebble Hill for making our daughter's dream wedding have a fairy tale ending!

I loved working with cara at pebble Hill Plantation!! She was helpful and always responded quickly to any questions I had during my planning process. I knew the moment I toured the beautiful grounds of pebble Hill I wanted my wedding there. we even rented the overflow cottage for the weekend. It was so relaxing and made it so easy to wake up on site the morning of my wedding!

We ended up with Pebble Hill after having issues with the venue we originally booked with. Let me just say this place is run like a well oiled machine. Everything is incredibly organized. Cara (the coordinator for the venue) is so friendly and is always quick to reply to emails and calls, and was always available when I needed to meet vendors out on site last minute. Since the venue was not booked the Friday before the wedding they had set up tables and chairs by Friday morning and allowed us to have all of the rentals and our own décor dropped off on Friday to start with set up which was really nice. Of course the property is beautiful as well and it seems like you could do so many different styles of wedding there!

Great spot for wedding reception! We also booked the Overflow Cottage for bride and bridesmaids. Photos were taken at PHP before wedding ceremony at church. This made the whole day much easier. Highly recommend PHP. Staff is professional, responsive and great to work with.

Our wedding at PHP was the wedding of our dreams. From the moment we toured, we weee SOLD on having our ceremony and reception at this beautiful plantation. The plantation incorporates a georgeous South Georgia natural setting with the class and vintage feel of an "old south" wedding. Theres so many different places around the plantation to choose from to hold your ceremony and reception. Cara was so easy to work with and so helpful. We couldn't be happier with our experience with PHP. It will be a day we (and our guests) will never forget!

We fell in love with Pebble Hill Plantation on our first visit! It is absolutely beautiful. We live in Atlanta and planned a destination wedding at Pebble Hill. Cara and her staff are great to work with. The wedding was amazing! We used 4 different locations throughout the day. The guests loved it! OUR DREAM WEDDING CAME TRUE!

Not only was the venue picture perfect, the staff at Pebble Hill Plantation are so courteous and flexible. I made a lot of special requests and Cara was quick to respond and extremely helpful every step of the way. I could not have done it without her!

I received so many complements about the different locations within PHP… saying how it was the prettiest venue they’ve ever been to. It truly was a dream come true and I can’t thank PHP enough!

Cara was so easy and great to work with! We had some issues with a previous venue that was booked for the wedding and Cara worked around her busy schedule to fit us in with a tour at Pebble Hill. She understood our stress levels at that time and made everything so at ease that we booked Pebble Hill on the spot after our tour. The ceremony was held at Piney Grove Church which is the picture perfect chapel on their property and it was the most amazing spot for the wedding. The reception was at Uno Hill Barn and it was the perfect location for our amount of guests and everyone loved the atmosphere. Thank you Cara for all of your hard work in making our wedding day so amazing. We owe so much to you! :)

Pebble Hill Plantation was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Cara was wonderful to work with - she always responded promptly to emails and telephone calls, made sure to follow up on any concerns or questions I had and was accommodating when last minute hiccups popped up in the wedding planning process. It rained on and off the day of our event - however the ground was not soaked and it let up long enough for us to proceed with the outdoor ceremony. It was beautiful! The staff at Pebble Hill went above and beyond to please me - particularly since I was using a new site for my ceremony that had not been previously used. I would highly recommend Pebble Hill to any brides looking for a ceremony or reception venue.

The staff at Pebble Hill Plantation were so helpful and courteous!! From the event coordinator to the guys moving the chairs and tables, everyone was so will to help us make our daughter and son in law's wedding everything they wanted.

There are not enough good things I can say about Cara and the team at Pebble Hill Plantation!! Whether it was last minute phone calls asking to use the property for an engagement photo session with our photographer or following-up on various questions on the weekend or after-hours, Cara was always so flexible and accommodating. The wedding ceremony and reception were so smooth and effortless and that is due largely to Mrs. Dollinger's expertise and support. I would highly recommend Pebble Hill Plantation to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line and luxurious venue for their upcoming wedding, you will not regret it!

The grounds are breathtaking and offer multiple locations to enjoy the scenery and learn about the history. The town of Thomasville is also extremely charming. Our wedding was a destination wedding, PHP was able to provide a beautiful location to hold the rehearsal dinner that Friday before the wedding, as well as holding the ceremony and reception at a different location that Saturday evening. This was great for all out of town family members. I really can't say enough about how wonderful the wedding was and how much we enjoyed PHP! Jason and I are so blessed to have been able to have our wedding there and I can't wait to go back and visit on our one year anniversary. <3

Very easy to work with Pebble Hill and select a wedding date, the deadlines were very reasonable and we had great responsiveness throughout our planning with PHP. We were allowed to change our location last minute due to weather and the package we had. PHPalso gave us great contact info for vendors for the wedding!

I cannot say enough positive things about Cara and the staff at Pebble Hill. I was set to have an outdoor ceremony and reception when the week of it rained nonstop. Cara was so easy to work with and very flexible when it came time for me to decide whether I was going to move my reception to Uno Hill Barn. The grounds are beautiful and the best wedding decision I made (besides the groom ;)) was to have the wedding at Pebble Hill.

Absolutely breath-taking venue. Friends and family from across the country are commenting on the beautiful grounds of Pebble Hill and our amazing wedding day. Cara was a pleasure to work with and very prompt at answering all questions.

There are so many beautiful locations at pebble hill it was difficult to choose a site for ceremony and reception. There were so many great locations for pictures!! I would recommend looking up pebble hill on Pinterest to see past brides beautiful photos... This is how I knew pebble hill was the location for our day.

One of our favorite parts of the night was the carriage ride to our honeymoon suite at the carriage house, which was included with the property rental! Lovely lovely venue!

Pebble Hill was a wonderful location for our wedding. There are so many options for your ceremony and reception that it was hard to pick! We had our ceremony in front of the main house and reception in the stables. It was beautiful and perfect! Cara is so helpful and easy to work with. She responded so quickly to all my questions and emails. Everything was set up great by the staff at Pebble Hill. While the fee to rent Pebble Hill is high, when you consider what all you get in return it really is not bad at all. The setting is beautiful and you can get away with minimal decorations and flowers (which can end up saving you money). So happy we had our wedding here!

Having my wedding reception at the Stables Courtyard venue of Pebble Hill Plantation has always been my dream. It is the definition of a true southern venue. Cara made the planning piece a BREEZE! So happy with every aspect of our day & would highly recommend Pebble Hill.

Cara and the staff at Pebble Hill Plantation were incredibly amazing and made my husband and I's special day the best it could be! Cara and the team at PHP are top notch! I could not have asked for a better wedding venue or team of individuals! The venue is breathtaking. A wedding guest put it perfect, "this place is majestic!" They fulfilled all my requests. Two days before my wedding there was an 80% chance of rain, I spoke to Cara and all my worries were gone! Even though it did not rain, we had plans in place and I was able to enjoy the weekend with no worries...rain or no rain! I am 100% happy that I chose PHP as my venue! Highly recommend!

This venue was SO PERFECT for our daughter's wedding. Pebble Hill has several venues on the property from which to choose to suit your event. We used three of them -- the pole barn at Oak Post for the rehearsal dinner (casual, relaxing & fun), the kitchen garden for the wedding (breathtakingly gorgeous), and Uno Hill Barn for the reception (rustic elegance). Cara, the event coordinator, was always so helpful and took care of us and every detail all along the way. We couldn't have ask for anything more fantastic. It was truly a fairytale weekend and everyone was in awe of this beautiful wedding. A wonderful start to a wonderful life for our daughter!

It is difficult to cool the Church down for a 6:00 p.m. wedding (during summer). Although it gets very cool by mid-day, the later afternoon sun really heats it back up. This is probably due to it being an historical building, not a lot of insulation, etc. Otherwise, the church has a lot of charm.

We were very happy with Cara and Whitney who were both involved with my daughter's wedding planning. Page's wedding was under the live oak tree and the setting was a storybook one. Originally we had planned for the reception to be in the tennis court area but decided on a tent instead between the tree and the tennis court because of the predicted rain which did happen, and the tent was lovely and added to the ambiance. The 10 bridesmaids and moms were in the overflow cottage to get ready the day of the wedding and that could not have been a more perfect spot to gather and get ready for the night. What a comfortable and spacious area that also provided the perfect spot for most to spend the night after the long day. We could not have been happier- the venue and people involved in the planning could not have been better! We have a storybook vision of our daughter's wedding forever implanted in our memory.

What an amazing venue to have an outdoor wedding! To start, almost every one of our guests came up to us complementing this location throughout the night. They loved (almost as much as us!) everything about it, from the Oak Tree Ceremony spot (breathtaking), to the beautifully maintained lawns, spring blossomed flowers, & the views of the plantation homes. The staff was just as wonderful- Cara made the seemingly toughest & most complicated part of our event the most flawless. She was helpful, professional, & very responsive to any questions/concerns that we had. My expectations were beyond met & I would highly recommend this location to anybody looking for a romantic/garden setting & an accommodating staff!

The perfect venue for my daughter's wedding on December 20, 2013! The event staff at Pebble Hill was very helpful and patient guiding us thru the planning process (Whitney and Cara). They are open to questions at any time before the event. The staff at Pebble Hill do everything possible to make your event perfect. Every Pebble Hill employee we encountered was extremely customer service oriented. We found the rate to use the UNO Barn location competitive or less expensive than many venues in Tallahassee plus you have the charm of Pebble Hill. Our guests enjoyed the options of partying inside or outside the barn around a firepit.

Pebble Hill Plantation was the most beautiful and romantic backdrop for our December outdoor wedding. All of our guest asked, "How did you ever find this place?!" I worked with the former event manager named Whitney and she was great. SHe was always there to answer back my e-mails with any questions and never made me feel like I was bothering her. Half way through planning my wedding with her, she ended up leaving Pebble Hill ad informed me that a new woman was taking her position named Cara; naturally, I thought, Oh great! A new person coming into the middle of my wedding planning and has no idea what's going on! That was not the case at all. Cara was up to speed on my wedding and knew every answer when I had a question about something. She was very well prepared for the position and I was delighted to work with her.

Cara Dollinger and Whitney White were both wonderful to work with throughout our wedding planning process. We held our rehearsal dinner at Uno Hill Barn on Friday, followed by our wedding on Saturday evening (9-14-13). These ladies were very professional, and I never had to ask for anything twice! They were very responsive, paid attention to the details, and made sure the venue was set up perfectly for both of our events. The quality of tables and chairs was also very nice, so we didn't need to rent anything from outside vendors. Everything looked fresh, neat, and clean. I also have to comment on Sue, who is a security officer at Pebble Hill. Sue went above and beyond, helping my parents unload luggage, guiding guests, and just generally making sure we had everything we needed all weekend long! She was a delight to get to know. Everyone who works at Pebble Hill is warm, friendly, responsive, and professional. We could not have picked a better venue!

Whitney and the staff at Pebble Hill were friendly and helpful with our wedding day needs. The security staff was even nice enough to shuttle all of our elderly guests to and from the ceremony site and pick up all of our decorations from the ceremony site at the end of the night. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. For the value and experience, there is the best place in the area.

Pebble Hill Plantation was perfect for my whole wedding experience. Whitney did such a great job ensuring that everything I needed was available and set up exactly how I wanted. I could not of asked for a better ceremony and reception site. I have received countless compliments about how perfect the venue was!

Whitney and the whole staff at Pebble Hill were great! We had a few last-minute changes for our wedding due to the weather and everyone handled it great! They were so helpful and made my already stressful day so much easier and relaxing. And you can't beat the beauty of the surroundings! I got so many compliments on the choice of venue and how much everyone enjoyed just walking around before the ceremony. Thanks to everyone at Pebble Hill for making our day so wonderful!

Pebble Hill Plantation is an excellent venue for weddings in that it offers both inside and outside ceremony choices. The grounds are immaculate and working with Whitney, the wedding event coordinator, is a pleasure. My wedding was designed to be intimate and elegant and was held inside at the Garden Cottage. The cottage is two stories offering room upstairs to dress. Downstairs we used the main room for the ceremony, the sideboard room for refreshments and the social room for a catered, sit-down dinner. The cottage also has a full kitchen which our caterer used to prepare the meals. While we were taking wedding pictures, we offered our guests on-site house tours and cocktails. Afterwards, we joined our guests on carriage rides around the plantation. For us, it was a most romantic day and one for which we are still receiving rave reviews from our guests. For a wedding with the stately feel of a manor, I highly recommend Pebble Hill Plantation.

Booking Pebble Hill for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The grounds are so beautiful and Whitney was a dream to work with. The Pebble Hill staff did a great job of providing professional service, and helping with last minute details. I always received a fast response from Whitney when I had questions and she was very flexible with me and helped make sure the wedding was everything we dreamed it would be.

Pebble Hill was perfect for my daughters wedding reception. They have several options for whatever the size of your guest list and it is also a beautiful well kept Plantation. We also used Pebble Hill venue for a football alumni event. This again was the perfect setting to share with family and friends a beautiful unique place that lends itself to accommodate a lot of people.
The grounds are well kept and they have a great staff to help you in all of your planning! We love Pebble Hill, and you will too when you go there and see what they have to offer!

We love Pebble Hill! It was so beautiful. It was outside with giant oak trees and spanish moss. They also gave us a lovely military discount which was very nice of them. If you want a beautiful, southern wedding, Pebble Hill is the place to go!

Awesome location. Absolutely beautiful. Value is great if no other weddings are booked and you have full access of the grounds for photos (as was my case).

As soon as I saw this venue, we knew this was where we wanted to get married! It was BEAUTIFUL and had so many options! Whitney was AMAZING to work with and helped keep everything organized! The security guards were so polite and helpful! On our wedding day it was pouring and we weren't sure our ceremony site we chose would work out. Pebble Hill's staff was amazing and so accommodating. In the end everything pulled together, and all of our guests claimed it was one of the most beautiful venue's and weddings they had ever been to. If I had to do it all over again, I would always choose Pebble Hill!

Choosing Pebble Hill as our wedding venue was one of the best planning decisions I made. We're extremely satisfied with the value and quality of service we received on our big day, and our families were blown away by the beauty of the grounds. The staff was nice enough to cart our elderly family members to and from the ceremony site and helped gather decorations from the ceremony at the end of the night. Thank you so much Whitney and staff for making our wedding such a smooth, happy experience!

Beautiful location and Whitney was flexible with working with us around times to bring items in.

The only thing I would say is to consider is to pay attention to how large your party really is to understand the full cost of renting this place. For example the 150 guest people package only comes with 19 tables (this is just enough for 8 guests to sit at 19 tables). That means you will have to pay to add anything and everything you need over that (cake table, guest book table, food tables, cocktail tables etc) and linens are not included anymore. Also, if you have that many people it would be extremely crowded at Uno Hill barn for the reception. Ours worked out because it was great weather and we could utilize the outside space (and we only ended up with about 110 people).

To summarize this is the most beautiful location and has a lot to offer for what you are looking for in an outdoor ceremony location and we are very happy with how everything turned out. I just wanted to add some items to think about that we did not realize/consider when booking.
