    Pamela made sure all the details were taken care of and made sure everything and everyone was on time! Pamela handled it all with a high level of professionalism, juggling all the day of details and timeline with excellent customer service and had such a positive attitude. She made sure everything ran smoothly, and she provided great support from start to finish. I would highly recommend Pamela!

    Excellence, elegance, professionalism, and fun! The BEST.

    Pamela and her team were amazing. Although we were having a small wedding party (35 ppl), I wanted a planner who also created big events in top venues in Newport - someone proven with attention to detail and an eye for elegance and taste. PDR Events brought all that PLUS good energy and humor. I told Pamela to handle the whole thing and she did. She listened to the vibe I wanted (coastal, understated elegance); I shared my thoughts about the caterer and food and beverages; we agreed on a theme, colors, and storyboard; and she and her team of designers executed perfectly. She handled problems with vendors (you can't avoid them). On the day of the event, she came early, made sure every detail was perfect, and stayed to the end. Every single guest gushed about how beautiful the house and set up were as well as the food and overall warm/welcoming feeling of the event. I couldn't be happier with PDR and recommend them wholeheartedly. Pamela will take care of you and then some. Worth every penny!

    Exactly What We Needed

    My wife and I just got married yesterday, and Pamela was so unbelievably helpful that we are writing this review as soon as we had a chance to sit down and breathe. Pamela is exceptional. As soon as we hired her, it was like Pamela instantly understood our vision and knew exactly what to do to make it come to life. She was never hard to get a hold of, she did not push things that were not a priority to us, she coached us on what we needed and how to request it from our vendors, and she went above and beyond the day of the wedding making sure that everything was perfect. We cannot recommend Pamela highly enough. Our wedding was perfect and exactly what we wanted it to be, and it’s entirely thanks to Pamela. We would have been lost without her and her charm, expertise, and industry connections. We almost want to go through the hell of wedding planning again just so we can hire her sooner in the process!!

    Pamela is the best in the biz!

    We had such a wonderful experience working with Pamela! It’s clear she knows her stuff and is very experienced! For my wedding in particular she was so helpful with helping us decide on vendors (she knows them all!) keeping us on track in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding and providing insight and advice ranging from big decisions to even the smallest little details. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and she was a huge part in making it so spectacular!! We couldn’t recommend working with her more!

    Hiring Pamela was the best and easiest decision I made!

    Hiring Pamela was one of the first wedding planning decisions I made and quite possibly the easiest and most important one! Living in NYC, working with a planner who not only knew the ins and outs of Newport but also every single vendor, aspect + consideration needed for a Newport wedding (down to the tiniest of details) was absolutely critical. Pamela went above and beyond in all aspects of the wedding planning process and working closely with her 1:1 I was able to develop a true friendship along the way. She has an incredible personality and will keep you smiling & laughing the entire time. With a busy schedule and a lot on my mind, Pamela helped keep me on track ensuring we were ahead of all deadlines and making suggestions for every single detail that I would never have thought of. With her support, advice and guidance, I was confident no stone was unturned (despite feeling like we were juggling 1000 items at all times). I can’t say enough good things about Pamela’s planning and organization style but her day of delivery was equally, if not more, impressive. Wedding day was absolutely A+ - The number of compliments I received directly from friends and family on Pamela specifically are countless. She was absolutely fantastic day of, wearing 100 different hats and keeping things moving efficiently and seamlessly the entire day. I genuinely could not have executed the wedding of my dreams without Pamela’s partnership these last 18 months. I will miss our daily exchanges and hope to work together again in the future!

    10/10 Planner! Oct 2023 wedding

    Pamela is an AMAZING planner! She helped us create such a memorable day from start to finish. She is extremely experienced, detailed oriented and organized. Our wedding happened to be the same day as the the car show in Newport which is always a major event. Pamela made sure timeline was designed to accommodate any potential delays that the car show could cause. Our day ran so smoothly thanks to her!
    Pamela knows the vendors in the area very well which was so helpful while planning. She assisted in conveying our dream wedding to the vendors and making sure we had the best options. The day of the wedding Pamela and her team made sure our day ran seamlessly. She helped organize 250 guests, a large bridal party, multiple vendor and changes due to weather.
    We would absolutely recommend Pamela and her team to anyone planning a wedding.
    Thank you for everything Pamela!! Our day would not have been the same without you!!

    September Wedding- Narragansett, RI

    PDR Events truly made our wedding planning a 10/10 experience. Pamela assisted me with my bridal shower invitations, favors, colors, etc. and I cannot tell you how many compliments I received. Everyone was so impressed.
    Pamela and her team made the wedding the most unforgettable day of our lives. From invitations to welcome bags, to decor and planning- Pamela and her team did an incredible job. Our day of coordinators, Casey and Laura, had the ENTIRE DAY under control and didn't seem to break a sweat! I can't express how much I appreciated their help- talking me through any moments of nerves or stress, making sure I had apps and water during cocktail hour and keeping our entire wedding party (15 people and a 2-year-old!) in line.
    I would recommend Pamela and her team over and over - 10/10 service! Thank you so much!

    Fantastic from start to finish!

    Working with Pamela was an absolute dream! She is so on top of everything, makes sure every detail is perfect and is so quick! She made wedding planning a breeze! Without Pamela our wedding wouldn’t have been nearly as spectacular as it was and we can’t thank her enough!

    Invitation Perfection

    Pamela at New England Invitations helped my husband and I navigate all our options for our wedding invitations. Trust me, there are SO many options to choose from. I explained my vision and she ran with it. She recommended colors, fonts and paper types. She put together absolutely stunning invitations-classy and romantic. She made something that could have been stressful and overwhelming and made it a fun experience. Pamela was also accommodating; I am from out of state and she really worked with me to find a date and time that worked with me. I had our first meeting with my parents, my husband and myself and we laughed and told stories while picking all of our options.

    She provided proofs and a quick turnaround. I was stunned by the beauty of the final product, they were perfect. She also did our name cards, I was very happy with this as well. The quality, professionalism, and final products were everything I could have hoped for. I HIGHLY recommend them.

    Pamela was our fairy godmother!

    Pamela made our wedding day dreams come true! While my mom and I are extreme planners, it made it so incredible to have someone who knew our vendors, had worked at our venue and made us feel special throughout the entire process. From the beginning of planning until our wedding day, I knew I could always reach out to Pamela for both the big and the small tasks. Pamela is personal, quickly learned my vision and was a key advisor throughout the process. Not to mention, she always got back to us quickly — which was so important to me. The months up to you wedding day can be a bit hectic, but Pamela was always there to bring a sense of ease and reassurance that it all will come together...and it definitely did! I highly recommend Pamela and PDR Events for your upcoming wedding or future event.

    PDR Events a Lifesaver!

    Pamela of PDR Events came to our rescue with less than 3 weeks to go before my daughter's wedding in Newport, RI. While Pamela had other priority weddings to plan and manage she graciously took on our over 200 + guest wedding. Pamela understood we had a lot of work to do - she and her team jumped in immediately working daily & diligently to ensure our daughter's wedding was perfect. It was. I am grateful to Pamela and her staff at PDR events for taking us on as clients in the 11th hour and for giving me the peace of mind none of the details would fall through the cracks. Pamela coordinated and managed the wedding details successfully, as well as gave tasteful advice on the aesthetic details. She was a true partner in styling our daughter's beautiful wedding.
    Pamela is a thoughtful, tireless, seasoned professional whom is responsive and proactive. I will hire her again to plan future family events.

    Wedding Dreams Come True with PDR Events!

    My mom and I originally went to meet Pamela at her invitation company in East Greenwhich, RI to order my wedding invitations. We left that appointment with gorgeous, classic invitations AND wedding planner information. We fell in love with Pamela’s personality, passion, and professionalism in our first meeting and were ecstatic to learn she was involved with wedding planning too. We hired Pamela to be our day of wedding coordinator for my September Newport wedding and my ONLY regret is not hiring Pamela and PDR events sooner to help with more of the process!!

    From the moment I asked Pamela to be my day of coordinator, which was well before the day of, Pamela was extremely helpful. She was always one step of the game and had the best personality to work with... which is wonderful during what can be a very stressful planning time.

    I can’t say enough good things about Pamela. She was extremely responsive, had an answer to every question, quick on her feet to solve “problems” before they became problems, very attentive to detail, honest, supportive, organized, and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She is an absolute pleasure to be around and it felt like I’d known her for years!

    You cannot go wrong with hiring PDR Events for your big day. Pamela and her team will help make your special day with all the perfect little details possible, and with very little stress and work from your end. If you’re considering getting a planner to help with your wedding, don’t think about it for one more day! Pamela is the answer to all of your prayers!     Best Decision Ever!

    Hiring Pamela to plan my October 2018 wedding was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding. Pamela is more than just a wedding planner, she was my go to person for EVERYTHING during the year and half of planning. I seriously could have not gone through this process without her - she was a god sent!

    We hired Pamela as our full service wedding planner for our Rosecliff wedding in October 2018 and she was instrumental in executing all of the details both big and small to make our day happen. Not only did she have amazing relationships with all of our vendors, she also brought years experience, organization, and a keen eye for detail that really helped bring my vision to life.

    We also used Pamela's invitation company, New England Invitations, for all of our paper and was extremely happy with the final product. In fact, several people are still commenting on how how beautiful our invites were!

    As for the day of coordination, I cannot even begin to summarize how thankful I am that Pamela was there. She completely took the reins so that I could fully relax and truly ENJOY my wedding day. Everything was executed perfectly and we had several positive compliments from our families and wedding party who loved her professionalism and positive attitude. She literally thinks of everything so you don't have to. For example, my bustle had broken but thankfully Pamela had safety pins and fix it quickly so I could go back to dancing.

    Wedding planning can be a very overwhelming and stressful time but Pamela takes all of that away and truly lets you enjoy the experience. If you are thinking about hiring Pamela to plan your next wedding you will not regret it !

    Best & Easiest Decision for our Wedding

    Pamela was the best decision we made for our wedding. We had a destination wedding so we knew we needed extra help in staying organized and getting everything done. Pamela had the best recommendations for vendors, was so easy to work with, fun, and just a good person. When planning one of the most important events in your life it is a huge fear that you will pick the wrong people to help support and guide you to the conclusion. Our wedding was to not only be a celebration of our love, but also a celebration of our love for our friends and family that joined us on the day. So choosing a wedding planner to manage and act as "conductor" of sorts was a major concern for us. On top of this we needed to have someone that we got along with while also trusting them to be tough when it was necessary. Pam was all of those things and more. She was always kind, always positive, but she was also straight to the point. Not only were we extremely happy with all of the suggestions she made from the caterer to the flowers to the photographers to so many other things, but we also had a great time with her the whole time. She was warm and friendly while still being firm and decisive when things needed to get done. The whole process from start to finish was made easy with Pam on our side, and the wedding day was perfect and completely stress-free. This bride can stress about everything and I didn’t stress about anything that day and also couldn’t imagine it being more perfect than it was. Everything went seamlessly and this was no doubt due to Pamela (and our other amazing vendors whom she recommended.) We plan to come back to visit Newport on a yearly basis, and we will be having dinner and drinks with Pam each time that she will join us. She not only made our wedding day amazing, but she also made two new friends.

    Pamela is fantastic!!

    If you want your wedding to go without a hitch and perfect, Pamela is for you. She was thorough throughout the whole process, I was Mother of the Groom and out of state (We hosted a welcome reception the night before the wedding for all guests) Coordinated a whole weekend of events from invitations to the napkins. The day of the wedding... a no-nonsense task master. Which is what you will want. Our wedding was 250 people and she orchestrated it perfectly. Wedding was at Castle Hill Inn, Welcome Reception/Rehearsal dinner at Marble House, Newport RI.

    PDR Events and Pamela made our day easy and beautiful!

    We cannot say enough about how wondeful Pamela was as a coordinator, she was on top of everything leading up to the wedding and night of. Her years of experience was evident in how flawless the day went off. My father has agreed that he will never do a wedding with out PDR events and I have two sisters who are not married yet. I would recommend her 1000 times over. She was just incredible.

    From beginnning to end, Pam was incredible! She was our day of coordinator and also completed all of our Invitations, welcome boxes, and save the dates. Pam is professional, reliable, knowledgeable and so much fun to be with. When you have Pam on your side, you can relax and enjoy your day. She is ten steps ahead of whatever you are thinking you need to get done. As a bride, I can say that I had the best wedding day I could have imagined because I had complete confidence in Pam and she ran everything smoothly. Our invitations, save the dates and welcome boxes were beautiful. She and her team are wonderful and I could not recommend her more!

    Words cannot express my gratitude for Pamela and PDR Events. My wedding was something out of a magazine! It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because of her. I came to Pam with ideas and she made them beyond anything I could of thought of! Pamela is a top-notch planner and I am incredibly lucky to have had her help. She is thoughtful, trust worthy, detailed, energetic, funny, and knows the Newport Area and vendors off the top of her head. She always made us feel as though she had everything 100% under control and she did! From the very beginning of planning to the very end, she was always there with anything we needed along the way. She set us up with New England’s best catering, flowers, invitations, transportation, hair and makeup, band, photographer – but appreciated we had a budget and advised honestly on what was worth the money and what wasn’t. While I was at my day job, she handled all meetings and logistics. The big day mapped out down to the minute – all I had to do was relax and have fun!

    But most important – Pamela was also a friend. She answered my frantic, 3AM, bridezilla emails by the time I woke up in the morning. She was a shoulder to lean on and wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion when I needed guidance. She made me feel special, as though her world revolved around me during all those months of planning.

    To all the brides out there – pdr events made all my wedding dreams come true! Thank you Pamela!

    Pamela was amazing. I hired her for partial planning and I really wish I hired her for full planning. I was planning a Newport wedding from NJ, and Pamela recommended the most amazing vendors from a photographer, to florist to rehearsal dinner location. She understood my vision and helped us execute it with her design.

    We had our wedding at The Newport Beach House which was perfect. Pamela helped us plan how to use the whole space and everything was perfect.

    I truly can't imagine what our wedding day would have been like without Pamela. She was there every step of the way from checking in with us at the salon to the very end of the night. There were so many details she made sure happened on the wedding day including getting everything back to our suite at the end of the night. Having her and her awesome assistant by our side allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day - thank you pamela!

    I initially thought I wouldn't need a wedding planner; however, I quickly realized that planning a wedding ( especially out of state) was more stressful than I had anticipated- lots of moving parts and so many details to consider. The sales director at our venue recommended Pamela and after one phone call, I knew I wanted to work with her. Unfortunately, Pamela was already booked for my wedding date (I reached out to her halfway through my planning process), but said she would be willing to help as a "partial planner" and that her colleague would help out on the day of the wedding. Not only did she make me feel like she was my full planner up until the wedding, but that I was a top priority for her. I literally said to my mom on a weekly basis, "Thank GOD for Pamela. Hiring her was the best decision I ever made."
    She answered all out my questions very promptly. She was thoughtful, organized, and broke everything down so it didn't feel too overwhelming. She solved any problem I came up with and was knowledgeable about all parts of the wedding including recommendations for the ceremony, layout, flow, reception, and even the bon fire after party we had. She met with me and my sister in January to go over linens, florals, and a walk through of the venue and we had the best time with her. She managed to crack jokes and get us glasses of champagne while simultaneously addressing all the different bullet points on our lists for the day. Pamela's friend and colleague Amanda met with Pamela and I for the final details meetings and she executed the day of. She didn't miss a beat and executed all of Pamela's planning super smoothly. Pam is efficient, hilarious, fun to be around, and so good at what she does. Pamela and Amanda allowed me to have a totally carefree day and to really enjoy my wedding without getting caught up in the small details. If you need a planner, I can confidently say she is best person for the job.

    To say that Pamela is the absolute BEST is an understatement.

    When I first got engaged, my mom and I happened to wander into her store, New England Invitations, to look at some sample invites. While in there, we met Pam and came to learn that she also owned an event/wedding planning business, PDR Events. After instantly clicking with Pamela's fun and energetic personality, we decided to hire her to help with the planning of my wedding the following August. I truly do not know what I would have done if we hadn't hired her. From the very beginning, Pamela made sure we had everything organized - from vendor contact sheets, payment deadlines, florals, transportation, linens, etc. There was never a moment throughout the entire year of planning that I became overwhelmed or stressed, all thanks to Pamela. She really made sure she understood my personal style and preferences. In fact, I was living in New York City for the duration of my engagement, and often times gave Pamela the reigns with full confidence to pick out certain details on my behalf.

    Another thing I love about Pamela is that even while simultaneously planning multiple other weddings, she still made me feel as though I was her only bride and top priority no matter what. On the day of my wedding, my bridesmaids couldn't believe how "funny, fun and cool" my wedding planner was. At one point the bridal party was actually chanting her name on the trolley to the church!! Now, two weeks after my wedding day, I can't think of one single thing I would have done differently and I am confident this has A LOT to do with Pamela! At the end of the day, not only did I gain the most amazing wedding planner, but I also now consider Pamela to be a friend.

    I truely believe that Pamela was the difference between me enjoying my wedding and being a stressed out crazy person. As soon as I had my first phone call will her, I knew I had to hire her, and knowing what I know now, I would have paid her 5 times as much. She took control when I needed her to, while still valuing my opionions. She was organized, knowledgeable, and she seemed to genuinely care about me and my happiness. My friends and family were so impressed. A few of our wedding guests who got married shortly after our wedding even took note of the way Pamela did things, and implemented her tips into their own weddings.     Pamela was so fun and easy to work with! She made every bit of wedding planning seem like a breeze! I originally was trying to plan the wedding with my fiancé, parents and pinterest. I quickly realized I was all over the place with what I wanted and overwhelming myself with TOO many wedding ideas. That's when we called Pamela! I loved her upbeat personality instantly! Pamela helped me break down what I was looking for and liked about each style of the wedding ideas that I had pictures of. Between Pamela and her getting us in touch with all the right vendors, they were able to make my vision even more than I thought up. If my ideas were too out there, she brought me back to the real world but would understand the vision and try to fulfill and if not come up with amazing realistic substitutions. For example I wanted glow swings like LawnD in Boston as well as a carousel or ferris wheel (i know who do i think i am lol) Pamela tried to get the swings rented & when they weren't for rent she suggested huge glow spheres and fireworks and knew both the vendors to go to! The entire wedding planning time she had every single thing in order and made sure all of our vendors were on the same page. I could never thank Pamela enough, I felt like I was more calm on my wedding day than I have ever been! If you are looking for basically STRESS FREE wedding planning, I highly recommend giving Pamela a call!

    I could go on and on about how amazing Pamela is. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and it was all because of her. She treated our wedding as if it was her own and it really showed, down to the smallest details. I had not thought through all of the complicated logistics of our outdoor tented wedding but Pamela took charge and immediately eased any worries. Her communication skills are excellent and she was always available for our never-ending questions! We also used her company New England Invitations for all our day-of paper goods and they came out beautifully!     There are not enough positive superlatives in the world to fully describe how enthusiastic, creative and ever-prepared Pamela D'Orsi Ryan is... she is like Mary Poppins: "practically perfect in every way!" My family and now-husband and I are still overwhelmed by her positive attitude, generosity with her time, energy and efforts, her incredible knowledge and experience... and her insane attention to detail. With Pamela, there is no detail too small... and nothing is overlooked. My wedding would not have been 1/4 as wonderful without her!!

    When you're planning something as big as your wedding, you want to know your investment is well handled - Pamela protects your investment! With her at the helm you can be certain that things will go smoothly and all your needs will be met :)

    Pamela goes out of her way to understand the "vision" and goals of her bride - and those become HER "vision" and goals. She makes your day happen exactly how you want it to-she doesn't push her own agendas on you and she goes out of her way to capture YOUR wishes.     Hiring PDR Events was by far the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Our Castle Hill Inn wedding was perfect thanks to Pamela D’Orsi Ryan! We live in New York City and planning a wedding in Newport, RI was becoming a bit overwhelming. Pamela to the rescue! She helped us select all elements of the wedding décor (the reception tent was beautiful) and worked with all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on time and everything was in place.

    In addition to her event planning business, Pamela is the proprietor of New England Invitations, and we made the smart decision to work with her in that capacity as well. Pamela incorporated our art deco theme in all our paper elements – invitations, place cards, menus, table numbers, wedding programs, personalized cocktail napkins. It was so wonderful to have one incredibly organized and artistic person who was responsible for all of the little details that make the difference between a good wedding and a fantastic wedding.

    Pamela is energetic, warm and fun. She has impeccable taste and an unparalleled attention to detail. My mom, new husband and I never had to worry about a thing because Pamela organized the entire wedding weekend, including welcome bags, rehearsal followed by a large rehearsal dinner, transportation for bridal party and guests, ceremony and reception. We were totally relaxed and enjoyed every moment. It was my dream wedding: elegant, fun and seamless!     I am convinced I could not have gotten through the wedding planning process without Pamela. There are so many logistical aspects to a wedding that I needed help with, and Pamela is a professional who knows everything and put my worried mind at ease. I wanted a Great Gatsby themed wedding, and she knew all the right vendors to go to in order to make my dream a reality. She is an excellent communicator, and gives the best advice. She also is familiar with so many wedding venues and vendors, so she knows exactly what you need and what to ask for.

    I never thought I would need a wedding planner, and looking back it was the best decision I made. My wedding day was perfect, and exactly how I’d dreamed it would be, and it’s all thanks to Pamela. When I walked around the venue on my wedding day I was amazed that everything had come to life in exactly how I’d envisioned it. She is amazing, and I highly recommend hiring her!!

    I honestly don't think I would have made it through the last few weeks before the wedding without Pamela. Through the whole planning process she was great at offering advice, finding vendor options, and keeping me on track with my end of the planning, but she really went above and beyond the call of duty during the wedding weekend! While I went into full panic mode, she calmed me down and fixed all the little issues on the day of, sent her staff out for last minute errands for forgotten items, and made sure all the vendors set up the perfect event for my husband and I. Once we started down the aisle, it was a perfect day, and it would not have happened without Pamela!

    What can I say about Ms. Pamela other than hands down she is the best. Being in the industry myself I planned my entire wedding and pay attention to every detail. I know many planners but knew that Pamela was the one I needed on our team. We however needed someone to be the "chief" for the entire weekend and make sure all our vendors where all on the same page and the weekend was going to run smooth. We not only had Pamela and her crew work the wedding day but there where 4 large and very detailed events for our guest that weekend. Pamela not only made sure everyone was on the same page for the weekend leading up to it but she also set up all our DYI and manage all the vendors. There was nothing I worried about because Pamela was there. Everything went to plan and believe me our weekend had a lot of moving parts! Everything was just perfect. I truly believe that without Pamela there I would not have been able to be at ease and enjoy my entire wedding weekend. She is creative, fun and very organize and professional. There was things she caught prior to the wedding that needed to be corrected that I did not even see myself. Because she saw these issues and corrected them prior we had a very, VERY smooth wedding weekend. If you are reading this and are thinking of having Pamela join your wedding vendor crew, hands down add her on! She will make sure everything runs smooth and be your eyes and ears. I have to say she is also very fun! She was with me right before I was about to go down the isle with my father and I waiting. We had a ball and she felt like family. We are so pleased that we are using her again for the next big family event this upcoming April.

    I was married at OceanCliff Hotel & Resort in Newport, RI on July 5th. Needless to say planning a wedding over 4th of July weekend, let alone in Newport (a popular wedding destination) as well as planning remotely from Washington, D.C. was/is a huge undertaking! I am personally a very organized & efficient planner with a lot of event planning experience for my work in politics-- that said, one's wedding is a whole different thing and something I realized I needed help with. I was referred to Pamela at PDR Events by OceanCliff, my wedding venue, and honestly it was the BEST money well spent. Pamela was my 'day of' point person and really she was with me for the last 6 weeks. I did all the upfront work of booking vendors, room blocks, band etc... and hired Pamela in the later stages and she was worth every penny. In retrospect, if your budget allows I would suggest hiring her from the very beginning, however if not, then at a minimum for the final stages of planning and as your 'day-of' person.

    Here is why she is so valuable:
    1) She's is incredible organized, efficient & responsive (something that was important to me since I lived in another city)
    2) She has a very sophisticated and elegant style that is important when selecting final last minute details the day-of and as a resource for advice
    3) Anything I needed/wanted or thought of that last week, Pamela delivered.
    4)She's a pro and knew all the right questions to ask that I had forgot and knew how to make an event run smoothly
    5) Most importantly...she made my wedding day be LOW-STRESS for me. She was the difference between me freaking out that flowers weren't in the right place or getting my bridal party lined up, or telling the band names or announcements etc... instead Pamela did all that and it made our wedding absolutely perfect and allowed me to focus on my family, friends & new husband!

    All said and done, I would 100% recommend her as a fantastic wedding planner in Newport!!

    Pam is worth every penny you will spend! This woman has endless amounts of energy, and is willing to exert it ALL on the bride. She is always available, prompt, and reliable. She will have the answers to your questions before you even come up with the question.

    I can't say enough great things about Pamela. I was a bride planning a wedding from very far away and figured it'd be helpful to have someone at least in the same state as my wedding as the time got closer. I can't imagine what I would've done without Pamela. She organized all the vendors, made a great timeline, made sure everyone got where they needed to be one time, and marched into a restaurant to make sure the bathroom was clean so I could use it last minute, wedding dress and all! I can't imagine how much more stressed and less prepared I would've been without her. Hands down, without reservation, recommend her 100%

    The best decision I have ever made was to hire Pamela D'orsi Ryan to help in planning my daughter's wedding. She is a wealth of knowledge and ideas. Pamela is very professional and thorough. She stays within all budgets and is able to troubleshoort when problems arise. The overall outcome of the wedding was more than I could have ever imagined or hoped for! I would not hesitate working with her again when my younger daughter gets married. PDR Events is definitely worth the investment!

    The best wedding planner! Pamela made our wedding day so so special. We could not have had such a nice day without Pamela. During our whole year of engagement she helped my husband and I feel relaxed and at ease. I knew that our day would be perfect, which it was!

    Pamela with PDR Events was an absolute pleasure to work with! We didn’t use a typical venue for our wedding and planned almost all the details but knew we needed to hire someone to pull everything together and execute on the day of. We couldn’t have done it without her! Just to name a VERY few things about Pamela: she is extremely responsive, is very organized and has such an eye for detail. She thought of details that didn’t cross our minds and had a contingency plan for everything. She and her team completely understood our vision and style. I was able to relax the day of, knowing everything would be done just how we wanted (better in many cases) and it was!

    Pamela spent endless hours by my side- reviewing every detail, meeting with vendors and walking through the day of with me many times. Pamela is professional while maintaing a great sense of humor and a keen eye to detail. Pamela went above and beyond my expectations, she even spent time ensuring my parents were well rested and hydrated for the day of the wedding, she truly left me without a worry. I look forward to more events with PDR events!

    Well, where do I start when talking about Pamela’s wedding planning talents? My (now) husband and I really thought we could do it all ourselves, until we ended up coming to the realization that we needed someone who could step in, see our vision, and execute. Thank goodness we found Pamela. I knew within our first phone conversation that we would be entrusting our wedding to her. She impressed me right away – sharing tons of ideas and tips off the bat with humor, wit, and her vibrant personality. Another cool thing about Pamela is that she made us feel like we were her only clients (which obviously wasn’t the case – this was summer wedding season in Newport after all!), getting back to us super quickly and keeping things moving in perfect time. Bonus is that she runs her own invitations shop in East Greenwich (a *must visit* store for all things modern bride), so we worked directly with Pamela on the fun design elements (menus, programs, thank you notes etc). Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous, and went off without a hitch, and we really have Pamela to thank. Bottom line is that I can’t imagine having worked with anyone but Pamela on my wedding. She exceeded all our expectations, and I guarantee you will feel the same way!

    Pamela was absolutely wonderful! Very aware of our wedding concept and thorough at filling out all the planning and decorative details. The wedding was beautiful and we owe it to her and her recommendations - every vendor she suggested was perfect! The whole wedding planning experience was made 100 times easier because of Pamela and the event went off without a hitch. She is amazing!

    Pamela and her staff are exceptional with organization and follow-through. This is the second event handled by pdr events and I will not hesitate to call again for my next party or event. If you are looking for a worry-free experience where everything is done so you can enjoy your event, this is the place to go. I can't say enough positive about my experiences!

    Our event went off without a hitch, Pamela was fantastic and took all the anxiety over the planning and the actual event. we would highly recommend her and will use her for all big events that we have in the future.

    You are an absolutely amazing person... you define the words "organized... professional... fun... creative... caring... and DYNAMITE"!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for a wonderful wedding weekend. What fun we had!!! What a party you (and mom) threw for us! You told me not to tell you what I didn't like until after the weekend. Well, that's why it's taken so long to write... there isn't anything I didn't like!

    From the flowers to the blinking sunglasses... the cake to the guitarist... everything was lovely and divine and well, perfect!

    I cannot say enough nice and wonderful things about Pam D'Orsi Ryan and PDR Events. I probably would not have had a wedding without her.
    I got married in the middle of a hurricane. I never felt like I was getting married in the middle of a crisis because Pam literally took care of every detail and was so clam in dealing with every problem without letting me know, that I never felt an ounce of stress.
    Pam coordinated our entire wedding, including day of. She talked down vendors to lower prices for us. She negotiated for an extra 20 minutes of our trolley without having to pay more money. She expertly helped us select all of our linens, etc. We had a five star wedding and Pam was the mind behind all of it. On top of that, she is a wonderful person with a vibrant and amazing personality. She was always so excited about my wedding, that she made me feel even more excited about it!
    In addition, she helped my fiance plan our entire rehearsal dinner with his mother who was out of state. Every single aspect of both events was flawless and amazing despite a million moving parts (and the hurricane!) We had numerous guests tell us it was the nicest wedding they have ever attended and we owe it all to Pam.
    Pam was the absolute best money my parents have ever spent according to my mom. Her prices are reasonable and she worth her weight in gold. All you have to do it look at pictures of my wedding to see how amazing she is. I recommend her one million percent. She is fabulous with a capital F and she made our wedding weekend unforgettable!!

    Pamela D'Orsi Ryan provided wedding planning services for us for our wedding at the Glen Manor House on July 9, 2011. Frankly, we could not have pulled it off without her, and the event itself was everything we could have imagined. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Pamela. We chose her because we liked her can-do attitude and her willingness to think outside the box. We were right about that, but what you can't tell in an interview, and what we learned, is how great she is an individual. She is so thoughtful and attentive that by the end, even though we were very picky, we were just turning things over to her because we knew she would understand what we wanted without us having to describe it. She was invaluable in helping us pick vendors, figure out whether costs were reasonable, giving advice on tough decisions (including easy decisions that seemed tough at the time) and just generally keeping us calm. She was less expensive than the other planners we interviewed, which made her services a great value, but she was so good that we ended up paying her a bonus that brought the overall fees in line with what others were quoting. And we still underpaid, given how great she was. Hire Pam, check that off your to-do list, and thank us later.

    Pamela was always there for me. She prides herself on one on one attention and she delivers. She only has a couple weddings each month allowing her the time to go over details to the max and make sure your day is as special as possible. The value of her service (esp for the cost) is I think unmatched. We had a perfect day that was stress free. Pamela has great contacts with vendors that are trustworthy, honest and fair. You can be sure they will be on their best behavior with Pamela around! Couldn't ask for a better wedding planner and couldn't have done it without her! would recommend her to anyone.

    After trying to do everything myself while working full time (as so many brides do!), I realized that I needed some help in the weeks leading up to the wedding, so I contacted Pamela at pdr events. I had purchased my invitations from New England Invitations (Pamela's everything-to-do-with-weddings shop), and really liked her from the start. Hiring Pamela was the best thing I did for my wedding and my sanity. She was always available, had about a million creative ideas, and was able to find top-notch vendors for my last minute needs. She helped to make my wedding day run incredibly smoothly - not once did I have a single worry with her in charge - and knowing my now husband and his groomsmen, I'm sure she had her hands full keeping everyone in line! I highly recommend Pamela and pdr events. Pamela is both fun to work with and incredibly professional - you'll be amazed at what she can do for you!

    Pamela was amazing! I hired her as my day of coordinator, but she was so much more than that! She met with vendors with me in the weeks prior to the wedding and coordinated all of the vendor deliveries and arrivals. She made the day go so smoothly for me that I was able to truly relax and enjoy myself!
