Wonderful!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Frank as our wedding videographer and highly recommend him! When I first reached out to Frank almost 2 years ago, he was super helpful with answering all my questions before we officially signed our contract. Whenever I had a question he would quickly reply to my emails, and we jumped on a call about a month prior to the wedding to discuss timeline and details. On our wedding day, Frank did a wonderful job following us around as we took our photos before the ceremony, capturing our private vows, and being present during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was very friendly and super easy to work with. We had a wonderful time working with Frank and cannot wait to receive our wedding video!

Amazing to work with !

It was amazing working with PD Wedding Film. As my father transitioned 6 months before my wedding day you can imagine there was a lot on my mind during this stressful time of planning, moving, new home, wedding, and planning my father’s services. Quite a few thing changed from original plan and PD Film made it very easy to communicate those plans and changes during a stressful but soon joyful time again of my life. They captureD all the amazing moments of my wedding to perfection. They were prompt and came in and knew just what to do. Professionalism with this company was very apparent and truly appreciated. Just what I was looking for!

Even though I had people tell me a videographer wasn’t that important, that they hadn’t watched their wedding video, I knew that was bad advice. I’ve already lost many people in my life and I know that photos don’t quite capture the full essence of life. I wanted “live” memories saved forever, not just static ones. The problem I was having was finding an affordable videographer who also did good work. After looking through many services I unfortunately realized I was looking for a unicorn.

Then I was lucky enough to stumble upon PD Wedding Films and found just what I was looking for! Frank, the videographer, is excellent. He is courteous and responsive in his communication. On the day of the wedding he was friendly and it was easy to include him in our day. He was professional and got the shots he needed while being out of the way. Our videos were excellent, well put together and the quality of the video was wonderful too! Frank/PD Wedding Films was the perfect choice for our big day!

I couldn’t ask for a better videographer for our BIG DAY!

We had a phenomenal experience working with Frank as our wedding videographer! He came highly recommended to us by our long time photographer and we were SO happy to hear he was available on our wedding day. Watching our wedding video brings back so many great memories! Franks attention to detail, patience, promptness & professionalism all played a huge role on our positive experience. In fact we admired his work so much that we also hired him as our videographer for our children’s baptisms! Being Greek we had many “big fat” Greek occasions and Frank captured all the details on hand! His pricing was fair and the turnaround time for production was great as well. Everything was communicated from the initial contact. Whether it was an email (which I prefer) or a call, Frank always responded in a timely manner. We loved having Frank as our videographer!! Frank was so kind and professional throughout the whole process, and captured our wedding so beautifully! He captured so many special moments that my husband and I simply missed out on due to being so busy the day of, so we were so thankful to have the video coverage so we could see all the special guest moments, and also get to relive the best day! We had an amazing experience with PD Wedding Films and Frank. Frank was great at communicating when we had questions throughout the planning process. Due to so many weddings being postponed, there was understandably a bit of a wait to get our video but Frank communicated this well so we knew what to expect. Frank was a pleasure to work with on my daughter's wedding day. Prior to the wedding as well as after he has always responded to any of my questions very quickly. The day of the wedding he was very professional and pleasant. Most of the time he goes unnoticed. Frank was an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day, and having seen our videos, we couldn’t be more pleased. He worked seamlessly with our photography team and had a fun, calming, and supportive demeanor throughout. He has been extremely communicative from day one. The video quality is amazing, and he coordinated the sound so well despite moving from one place to another using different systems to make sure that the audio was captured clearly regardless of the space we were in. It’s amazing that he was a one man team because the footage truly feels like there was a full on camera crew! The Absolute Best

Words cannot express how thankful we were to have PD Wedding Films a part of our wedding day and planning process. From the very start, Frank was prompt with communication and always a pleasure with whom to work. He took the time in the planning process with us to know what our hopes were for our big day. My husband and I trusted him and his expertise which showed in every interaction and communication we shared. Through it all, Frank knew exactly what we wanted and responded by giving us our favorite video footage to watch of all time.
Frank was a calming presence on our wedding day, sneakily capturing moments and interactions that we would not have remembered if it was not for him. Frank was ready at every location we had asked him to be on our day - from the hotel room to the ceremony along with outdoor pictures and the reception. He was so organized and efficient that our day ran more smoothly because of him. He worked amazingly well with our vendors, wedding party, and guests which allowed us to enjoy more time celebrating our day.
Every moment of our day was filmed and produced in a highlight video, edited footage, and unedited footage for us to enjoy for years to come. He went above and beyond with his attention to detail and editing process, capturing our fairytale day beyond our expectations.

Perfect Day!

A good videographer was super important to us because we knew it was going to be one of the major ways we reminisce/remember the day. I watched countless wedding videos from vendors and, though I think it depends on your preferences, I knew PD Films was the right one as soon as I saw one of the videos. The cinematography of it was simple and classic without being boring or looking amateur. It wasn't over the top or intrusive, but captured every important detail. Frank was in contact the weeks before to make sure we were aligned on schedules and responded quickly when I had questions. He was professional and let the photographer do the leading, while still capturing all the same important moments. We received our videos within the time frame promised and we are so happy with the outcome. It was exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend PD Films to other couples!

I will cherish our videos forever, worth every penny!

Frank was amazing to work with. He let my photographer run the show of taking the pictures so that way there wasn’t two people telling us to do different things. Half the the time I forgot he was even there which made it less stressful and more relaxed. Our trailer video and hour hour video were absolutely amazing, any change I wanted on the videos, he accommodated to them with no problem. His prices are more reasonable than most videographers I looked into, I have recommended PD videography to every bride I know. PD videography was worth every penny!

Great Video

Frank was wonderful to work with! He is very laid back and flexible - he adjusted a video package to meet our needs and our budget. On the day of the wedding, Frank seemed to be everywhere, yet we barely noticed him! He did a wonderful job capturing all the great moments of the wedding. Frank was awesome! We didn't want a video that was too theatrical/artsy, but was still beautifully shot and captured the moments of our wedding day. Frank did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding. Right from the start he was always so quick and easy to communicate with. The day of our wedding he was prompt and was able to capture all of the special moments without being overbearing. We had a pretty long day and we discussed that early on, but Frank said it would not be a problem and he spent at least 10 hours with us. I was concerned that needing a videographer for that long would be impossible due to our budget but Frank worked with us and we were able to get exactly where we needed to be. And the price paid for the finished product honestly could not be beat. We could not be happier with both the highlights and the full video. We definitely recommend PD Wedding Films, 100%!

Though it's several years later, I am again watching the wedding video with our toddler daughter. Where to start... Frank did am amazing job capturing the best moments of our day. There were some moments he captured that I wouldn't have remembered if not for him. Some moments we never saw because we were tied up with other things. Frank was very understanding and patient with me when planning everything. We are a very laid back and funny husband and wife and with Frank he rolled with the flow and I think did a great job doing so. Thank you Frank for doing an amazing job. Long story short: Frank at PD Wedding Films is AMAZING!!!

I self-planned from the east coast so all of our communication was via phone or email. We spent a short time going over my wishlist and he was so reassuring and patient with all of my questions that I had absolutely no reservations about booking him sight unseen; which is a testament to how awesome he is!

When we met the day of my wedding it was like touching base with an old friend that happened to be filming one of the most important events in my life. Frank is professional but very easy going with an excellent sense of humor. How he captured my bridesmaids and me getting ready, while also getting footage of the groom and setting up for the ceremony (all at the same time and at least a 7 minute walk between each location in the hotel), I'll never know but certainly appreciate.

If you're planning a wedding in the Chicagoland area, do yourself a huge favor and book Frank!

A friend of mine had recommended Frank of PD Videos for my wedding. It was the best decision I made. Frank went above and beyond for me and was so helpful throughout our wedding day. My video is amazing...I get chills and tear up when I watch it. It's just so beautiful and Frank did an awesome job of capturing every special moment. My younger brother had died ten years ago so I had a photo charm of him attached to my bouquet. Frank recorded so many beautiful shots of that charm. Beautiful work! Frank did an incredible job of capturing all of our special moments throughout our wedding day. We loved working with him - he flawlessly fit into the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. Not only this, but Frank is a wonderful and kind person. We had to plan our wedding from out of state and Frank was so easy to work with. He spent almost an hour talking to us and answering our questions over the phone. Frank was very nice and forthcoming, which is one of the reasons we booked him. Frank was professional, easygoing and worked extremely well with our photographers. My husband and I can not thank frank enough for our wedding videos. Not only did he work with out budget, Frank captured every special moment of our day. At first, we couldn't decide whether or not to hire a videographer ( due to the added expense ) for our big day but we are SO GLAD we did. When hiring PD Video Films for our wedding day, the videographer, Frank, met all of our needs throughout the process. We were a bit worried at first that we may feel uncomfortable with someone filming but this was never the case. We felt 110% at ease and comfortable. PD Videos was extremely flexible and very punctual. He worked well with the entire wedding party. Frank was amazing! We were working on a budget, as are most couples, and he was able to incorporate and change around his package to fit my needs exactly. Frank is extremely kind and very good with communication, which is very nice to have when you are juggling so many balls in the air. On our wedding day he arrived early, stayed late and put in above and beyond effort, all with a smile on his face as he cruised around capturing everything! Our wedding was only a couple of weeks ago so we have not received our video yet, but once I do I will be back to add to my review :)

Frank was great to work with! Very affordable! Responded quickly to any questions or concerns. My biggest fear in getting a videographer for the wedding is I would feel like a camera was in our face the whole day, but honestly he is great at staying out of the way but still capturing the day! I cannot say enough amazing things about Frank Thomas from PD Video Films! I had to communicate with Frank via email due to medical issues, so I met him in person, for the first time, on our wedding day. He responded to every email query within 24 hours, so I had no concerns, when it came to the plan for our wedding day.
I was super concerned about feeling self conscious during filming, on our day, but honestly there were times when I forgot he was even there. I was at ease the entire day. I was so thankful to have Frank film our wedding. My husband and I both have disabilities and we were both super blessed to have Frank as our videographer because he never was uncomfortable around us and he filmed around our limitations with ease, so for anyone with a disability and planning a wedding in or around the Chicago we highly recommend PD Video Films.
Thirdly, PD Video Films prices are absolutely phenomenal. I researched many wedding film vendors during our planning process, and Frank was by far the most inexpensive vendor I found with a passion for storytelling. He was also more than willing to allow us ample time for payment, up to the wedding week.
When our video came, It was delivered sooner than anticipated, and the case it came in was amazing. The DVD face was a close up of my bouquet and the jacket had pictures on the front and back from the wedding. Watching the video is like reliving our wedding day. I tear up every time I watch it. Frank captured every special moment perfectly, even some things I missed due to small bouts of pain.

We didn't budget for a videographer, but when the 4th or 5th one of our friends mentioned how great it was to have a video of their wedding we started looking into it. We turned to our vendors (DJ, florist, photographer, etc) for their recommendations on someone who was reputable. "Frank from PD Video is a beast" was what my photographer exclaimed when I asked for recommendations on a videographer. We did a search on PD Video and noticed a lot of positive feedback, so we sent an email seeing if someone was available on our date. Frank from PD Video got back to me within a few hours and the rest is history. As it turns out, my photographer was not exaggerating...although he forgot to mention that Frank is an incredibly kind, patient, extremely professional, talented, VIDEO GENIUS! Frank did a fantastic job on our wedding video! He captured these perfect little moments of our wedding and paired them to music seamlessly. He caught all the special moments of the day like my grandparents coming into the church, the flower girls racing down the hallways, and an epic dance-off between the father of the bride and father of the groom. I can't stop watching the video! The quality of his work is great and my family and guests LOVED him. Even though our contact ended 30 minutes earlier Frank wound up staying until the end of our reception to catch our last dance. How sweet was that?! It's the little things that make the biggest impression and that meant the world to us. The fact that he didn't treat filming our wedding like some gig and leave as soon as the clock hit the end time made us feel special; he genuinely wanted to be there. I cannot believe how perfect our wedding video is! Frank is not only talented, but he is easy to work with and very flexible. He was there capturing all the moments, but he never seemed to be in the way. He even offered advice when I was worried about something with the ceremony. It was something so little but, I still remember him being so comforting. "It is your day, so do what makes you more comfortable!"

I knew from day one of planning, that I wanted a videographer and everyone told me I didn’t need one or it was a waste of money. Wow…I am sure glad I didn’t listen to them! My video was by far the BEST investment I made for the entire wedding! I am so glad I didn’t let others push me in the direction of “saving money.” If you need to cut costs somewhere the video is not it! The flowers will die and the party will end, but the video you will have forever! It is so nice to have the video to relive all the parts of the day that we couldn’t remember or even the moments we will never forget!

I remember when my husband's best friend invited us over to see their wedding video, and I thought they must be kidding because I attended the wedding so I knew what went on; however we graciously accepted the invited and headed over for a "viewing". To my surprise, I was glued to the TV the entire time. I couldn't believe how unique and flawless the video turned out to be and how much of the wedding I had missed seeing because I was busy dancing the night away. I got his info and emailed Frank the next day. He was so easy to work with during the planning process. He was also super flexible with us with the hours. I received the DVD within the time frame in the contract and I fell in love with it before I even opened it! He made an adorable case for it with a purple background (my wedding was white and purple) and even put pictures on it. The DVD was also made special with a label and our information. I do have to say how impressed I was with how the DVD turned out as I expected it to be good, but I felt it went way beyond. He caught all of the important moments from the ceremony to the entrances, special dances and cake cutting. To say I was pleased with the work of PD Video Films would be an understatement. I was extremely impressed that Frank mixed in songs that were played at the wedding with clips of video from throughout the night. I remember singing "Glad you came" and seeing my self singing it that in the video and he synced the video and the words perfectly!! I was really grateful that Frank from PD Video Films was available on our wedding day because that DVD is one I will save and cherish forever! I can't wait to have my own "viewing" and share this treasure with all of our friends. I highly recommend Frank and PD Video Films to all couples engaged to be married, or really anyone that wants to remember a special moment in your life forever. Frank from PD Video films was a pleasure to work with. He introduced himself at the beginning of the day, but was virtually out-of-sight for the rest of the day. We were skeptical about videographers before our wedding, but Frank completely changed our opinion. The DVD we received was wonderful. The footage will help us relive the best day of our lives for many years to come. The video and audio were crystal clear and Frank implemented a great soundtrack using songs of our choice.

Many photos were lost by our photographer (unrelated to PD Videofilms), and Frank went above and beyond his duties by sending us JPEG stills of photos that were otherwise lost forever.

Frank put in extra effort to provide a quality video without making our wedding feel like a movie set. He was incredibly professional and thoughtful in everything he did. Frank at PD Videofilms was an unexpected highlight of our wedding weekend.

Other videographers in the area charge upwards of $4,000 for the same quality that PD Video does. Frank was EXTREMELY responsive to all of our emails and phone calls & the day of our wedding he completely WOW'd us with how go with the flow he was. We got married at Starved Rock and did a 3 hour photo/video shoot with the bridal party before the ceremony. It was very hot outside but he stayed with us and never complained once. THANK YOU FRANK!!!!!!

Frank from PD Video Films was so easy to work with. Although we did not meet prior to the wedding, I felt comfortable with him after our phone conversations. He was very professional and such a pleasant person to work with. We received the finished video yesterday and couldn't wait to watch it. We were so happy with it! It was like reliving the day over again. The day was so busy there was no way we could have seen all the happenings around us. Now, with this video we can watch anytime we want.

PD Video/Frank is amazing!! We hired Frank for our wedding on April 27th, 2013. I am so glad that we made a last minute decision to hire a videographer. Honestly, the best decision ever! If you are on the fence, do it - hire PD Video! Worth every penny. I can't say enough good things about Frank, and how thankful we are to have been able to work with him.

Frank was one of our favorite vendors we had! personally I hate being the center of attention and I originally didn't want a video camera following me around all day! however I thought I would regret it if we didnt hire someone....in walks frank! he responded so fast to my emails...met with my fiancé and I one mile from our house (NO other vendors did this), and was such a hit at our wedding that I have given his info to more than 20 guests! he captured every second without being in our face and basically being invisible. I don't know how he did it but my husband and I are so happy with the final product! If you are on the fence...HIRE HIM. You won't regret it :)

We hired Frank from PD Video Films for my daughter's wedding in October 2012. Frank is very professional and easy to work with. He asks for about 10 special songs from the bride and groom and then incorporates them into the video.

Frank doesn't miss a beat capturing the entire wedding and reception. When we first received the video my daughter watched it four times in a row as she was so excited. We got some good laughs watching everyone dancing. I missed the cake cutting, and it was so comforting knowing I would be able to re-live every single moment of the wedding day watching the video. Frank works well with the DJ and Photographer and honestly you don't even know he's there. And, PD Video Films is very affordable.

The "Highlights" portion of the video is just adorable. You just can't go wrong with PD Video Films.

From the moment Frank arrived at our house on the day of the wedding, I immediately felt comfortable with him. He began capturing intimate moments from hair and make up, zipping up the dress, endless pictures with family all the way down to my precious four legged Chocolate Lab who made the video priceless. Frank's final production brought a mixture of emotions; my husband and I, along with our families, laughed and cried as we were able to re-live our wedding day. From the ceremony to the first dance, Frank did a wonderful job at capturing all of our happy memories; I would highly recommend him as a videographer to anyone! After our big wedding, Frank took the time to write a very personal e-mail which highlighted so many of the great moments of our day. I used PD Video for my September 28th, 2012 wedding and am SO happy I did! Frank could not have been more professional or easy to work with. Plus his prices cannot be beat! We were not sure at first if we wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding because we didn't think we needed a video on top of pictures. But after getting my DVD's in the mail and watching them with my husband, we are so glad we did. Frank captured every moment of our day - from the time at my mother's house getting ready with my girls, to the very last dance of the night. I was even surprised by some of the things on the DVD; I didn't know there was so much I missed during the day! Which made me even happier about hiring Frank. My husband and I were not considering a videographer initially, but we are so happy that we decided to hire PD Video. We would have really regretted it had we not hired a videographer, and Frank from PD Video was the best. The video turned out great and we look forward to watching it and reminiscing about this day in the years to come. I could not ask for better service. On the day of my wedding, Frank was prompt and professional. He had a great attention to detail and he captured moments that, in the blur of my wedding day, I didn't even get to experience: like the dance off between my brother and my husband or my husband's grandparents slow dancing. Working with Frank was an overall great experience. The day of the wedding he was professional, friendly and seemed to be catching every aspect of the day. My husband and I weren't 100% sure we wanted a video of our wedding and quite frankly weren't sure if it would fit into our already expanding budget. Only three months before the wedding, we decided we couldn't spend the rest of our lives without the footage of our special day so we could relive it over and over and over again...especially since all our family and friends continued to remind us how quickly it would go by. By a strike of luck, PD Video was available due to a cancellation. We found them through various wedding web sites and saw samples of wedding videos on the web site. What could we say, we liked the style!

Hiring Frank from PD Video was absolutely one of the best decisions we made (besides getting married). Frank was a pleasure to work with, totally flexible, timely and worked really well with our photographer. Our wedding was a blast and Frank captured all the special moments and a lot of great footage of all the dancing. Nothing about the video was corny like asking each table to send us a message, etc. 7 months into our marriage and I continue to catch myself watching our 5-minute highlight video on a weekly basis.

We were so happy with the final product and absolutely give PD Video a 5-star evaluation.

Frank at PD-Video was absolutely amazing! Before my wedding, he kept in touch with me and allowed me to construct my own payment plan to make sure I wasn't overwhelmed with all of the payments/planning. He showed a genuine interest in my wedding and didn't treat me like "just another bride." The day of the wedding he was on time and got footage of everything I could ever want to remember. When I received my wedding videos I was happy to also receive the unedited footage as well. Frank did an amazing job on our wedding video. At first we weren't sure we would have a videographer, but we found Frank who was great talent at the right price, and now we can't imagine not having a video. The day goes by too fast! We were very impressed with both the quality of the video and editing as well as Frank's professionalism as a videographer. Frank was absolutely amazing. I have to say...at first my husband was not thrilled with the idea of hiring a videographer. However, after we watched Frank's video and the candid moments he caught, it was clear it was the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding process. My husband now believes it was the best investment we made :) Not only that but I cried when I saw the video. Frank was able to catch moments any photographer would not be able to catch.
