My husband and I can’t say enough good things about Paul! The pictures are so marvelous that he captured of our church wedding. When looking through our album it’s like reliving it!
He was so fun to work with and made taking our photos as stress-free as possible. Our families are still taking about how enjoyable he was to work with too. We will definitely recommend his services to others. On top of it all we felt like we received so much for the value. Paul was our wedding photographer and we couldn’t have been more happy with his service. He himself is had an amazing personality, he was able to capture our wedding and reception both in such a way that we never felt like we were posing, we were enjoying the ceremonies, in the moment and he was able to capture everything. When we looked at the pictures, we relived that day all over again, photos are so natural, and perfect! I was stunned by the way he was able to capture our emotions and feelings in those pictures. Working with Paul Saunders Photography was a blessing. The pricing was the most reasonable I could find anywhere but the quality was above and beyond. His professionalism and ease of communication was so appreciated as a type A bride. He got back to me so fast anytime I reached out. Our photographer, Steph was the easiest person to like. She instantly made of all of us feel so comfortable and she captured every moment without ever feeling in the way. They both make sure to follow your wishes and make things so easy on the bride and groom. I knew I could trust them but when I got my pictured back I was blown away. There were over 1600 incredible photos with only one shooter! I truly cannot recommend them enough. -

You will not find a better photographer to work with for your wedding than Paul and Kristy! Paul has many different plans that are super flexible and accommodating to any budget. He had great communication with us throughout the entire process and even went above and beyond to recommend other wedding vendors to us (which helped us find our DJ)! Kristy was our photographer on the actual day and she was also lovely to work with! She was a super organized, calm presence on our actual day, and our photos came out amazing! A wonderful photographer for all couples
Paul did an amazing job on our wedding, I truly cannot understate how much joy he brought to our already joyful day. He was extremely prompt with all planning information, and on the day, he had an amazing gift for getting people to smile and laugh naturally. If you're looking for candid photos of joy, dancing, and love - Paul is the right photographer for you. He listened to all of our requests for photo locations, and worked extremely quickly. He also offered a helping hand to anyone who needed it day of.
We got about 1600 photos back from Paul and they span getting ready through our first set of our band. Truly everything we wanted and more - and the pricing felt reasonable and accessible to a couple trying to be budget minded.
Delivery of photos took about 3 months, and Paul gave a very accurate timeline post wedding, so we knew when they'd arrive. Just overall a 10/10 experience. -

Paul Saunders Photography is the absolute best, especially for the reasonable / affordable pricing! My husband and I consider ourselves so lucky to have had Lana photograph our wedding. We are very awkward and camera shy, but Lana's sweet and bubbly personality immediately put us at ease. By the end of the day we were even feeling confident in front of the camera. She taught us how to pose and told us step by step how to get the best photos without making it feel performative or taking away from the real moment. As a result we got gorgeous photos back that captured our day and our relationship perfectly. Every person at our micro-wedding raved about how kind and professional she was.
I loved the fact that Paul Saunders Photography offered many different packages. We chose the wedding by the hour (WBTH) option, and chose the 8 hour coverage. I appreciated the flexibility to choose coverage that best fit our day, and pick and choose add ons (i.e. photo albums, wrapped canvases, enlarged prints, etc.) that we actually wanted.
Paul's communication was timely and thorough both leading up to and after our wedding. He generously gifted us a free wrapped canvas of a photo of our choosing when he sent our previews.
I highly recommend Paul Saunders Photography. They truly are the best photography team I've ever worked with. -

We didn’t have many specific requests for poses or shots, but she guided us effortlessly using her creativity and expertise. It’s obvious that she truly loves what she does… and she’s incredibly talented at it.
Our wedding was about a month ago, and while we haven’t received the full gallery yet, she sent us a beautiful preview within the first week, which really impressed us. Based on those photos, we already know the rest are going to turn out incredible. There are few decisions in my life that I have been as sure of as I was when I hired Paul for our wedding. What I wanted more than anything on my wedding day was to have fun and be as stress-free as possible, and Paul made that happen for us. I didn’t have to make any decisions day-of. Paul knew exactly what to do and he completely took charge and made it happen. He communicated exactly where he would be prior to the ceremony and when, and he got a lot of the pictures out of the way before the ceremony so it wouldn’t take up too much time afterwards (we didn’t do a first look). During the pictures after the ceremony, he got every combination of family, siblings, parents, wedding party, bridesmaids, and groomsmen that you can imagine. During the reception, he took any photo with any group we requested, and he even suggested that we get a picture with all the alumni from the college my husband and I went to. When we wanted him to be there, he was right there; and the rest of the time, he was invisible! During the ceremony, the first dance, the speeches, he was there constantly, taking photos the whole time, without getting in the way or distracting us from being in the moment. He was extremely personable, he remembered everybody’s names, and he even very tactfully dealt with my husband’s very overbearing grandmother who wanted to stand in front of him and take pictures on her phone. He was amazing and everyone loved him! When we got our photos back, my husband and I both spent hours upon hours looking through all the photos and selecting our favorites. The photos are so beautiful, and I just can’t stop looking at them. Paul did a wonderful job of capturing the beauty and the joy of that day, and I am so grateful to him for giving us these memories to look back on forever. Thank you so much Paul! -

We are a senior couple both getting married a 2nd time. We planned a joyous wedding celebration of our love and from the moment we worked with Paul S. and his teammate Kristy J., it was a fantastic experience. Paul and Kristy were warm, professional , humorous and quickly responsive. We both felt that Paul and Kristy listened to what we wanted and then delivered. We pictured a wedding portfolio that featured us ( and neither of us enjoys getting our photo taken ) and our large blended family ranging in age from great grandparents to a very small infant and several rowdy younger children. We also wanted the portfolio to capture the love we feel for each other and receive from our family and friends who are a blessing in our lives and are literally from all the stages of our lives. Kristy did a spectacular job and captured many beautiful photos outside despite the cold, raw , sometimes rainy day outside and many delightful photos inside. Truly you want to hire Paul S. and his team ! -

Amazing Photographer!
We cannot recommend Paul Saunders Photography enough! Paul is super responsive, professional, entertaining, and so kind! He really made our wedding day special and the photos could not have come out better. He captured every moment from getting ready in the morning through the reception in such a great way. We were able to get a lot of our photos done before cocktail hour so we were able to enjoy that with our family and friends, which we loved. Our guests to this day tell us how kind, social, and friendly Paul was and how it was great he was walking around getting photos of guests. We completely appreciated that! Paul is also very quick in responding to emails and will answer any questions you have. We love going through the photos and re-living the day. I had the absolute honor of working with Sandra yesterday and let me tell you, this woman KNOWS what she’s doing. She was so easy to be around, she made us feel so comfortable, and I genuinely enjoyed getting to know her and spending time with her. I hear a lot of complaints from people who have gotten married that they felt like their photographer was underfoot, but Sandra just felt like one of the girls there to hang out and enjoy the day with us. She was on top of every detail, of our schedule, and our needs. She helped make sure we got fed and made sure everything we needed was at our venue when we ran out of room to pack cars. She was on deck with pins of all kinds when my dress sleeve decided to take a nap halfway down my shoulder for photos and when we could find the boutonniere pins. She had me laughing all day long and took charge when it came time to wrangle all of us for photos. I haven’t even seen our photos yet but I don’t have to to know I’m about to get the most incredible wedding album full of the people I love and memories I will cherish for the rest of my life, including all the joy I felt working with our new friend. Literally just the sweetest person alive, I would’ve been lost without her. Top tier job, a million thank yous and beyond 💖 -

I had the pleasure of officiating my sister’s wedding and I’d like to recognize that the wedding photographer for the day/evening, Sandra, was nothing short of phenomenal. While weddings are a time for joy and celebration, they also come with bountiful amounts of stress leading up to the big day and in the hours leading up to the celebration.
I couldn’t help but notice how instrumental of a role Sandra played throughout the day in keeping my sister, her bridesmaids, and my mother calm and on schedule, taking every ounce of pressure off them to give them an unforgettable and immaculate day. Her attention to detail, time management, skillful facilitation and experience with different poses, angles, and shots was simply spectacular. We very much appreciate Paul Saunders, his team, their professionalism and expertise, and the outstanding services they provide. I personally appreciate Sandra for her efforts and the noticeable calming effect it had on my sister and mother on a day when I know their stress levels were elevated.
I truly appreciate the services she provided and I eagerly look forward to seeing how all the photos come out. More importantly, I want to thank her for the noticeable yet under appreciated way she took the stress off my family, who I know would have been significantly more emotionally distressed without her leadership and expertise.

It’s easy to assume that a wedding photographer is just there in the background, capturing moments as they happen. Paul immediately set himself apart, showing us from the very first phone call just how much more a great photographer brings to the experience. Not only did he take a genuine interest in getting to know us, but he also made a point to learn the names of our closest family, bridal party, and dearest friends. That level of care was something we felt from start to finish.
On the day of, we were both feeling the weight of the moment, excited but nervous. Paul put us at ease right away. For me, it was the small but meaningful things, like adjusting my lapel flower or reminding me to look at my wife while reading my vows, making sure those picture-perfect moments weren’t just captured but felt. For my wife, who’s more of an introvert, he made her feel confident and truly at the center of it all. That’s no small feat.
Beyond just us, Paul handled everything with ease, even managing those pushy family members who wanted their own moments in the spotlight. And somehow, he still made it all feel effortless. One of our favorite moments? He worked with our bridal party to pull off a surprise photobomb that was absolutely perfect.
Working with Paul felt less like hiring a vendor and more like reconnecting with an old friend, one who genuinely loves what he does and cares deeply about the people he’s capturing.

During the stress of planning a wedding, I was so glad to have Paul Saunders Photography as my photographer. Paul has been an absolute pleasure to work with, he’s professional, personable and quick to respond to any inquiries I had. I found many wedding vendors to be pushy, but not Paul! I also found that his prices were more affordable, but not for less quality! His photographer Sandra was punctual, kind and took so many incredible shots of our big day! Ultra-communicative professional with great pictures
We're a newlywed couple out of New York City who struggled quite a bit to put together a nice wedding originally, due to a lot of hurdles - not least of which having a somewhat tight-ish budget for some of the biggest expenses.
Luckily we found a gorgeous yet surprisingly affordable venue (Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY) that was an absolute gem - not least of which because they gave us a great list of preferred vendors to choose from. This in turn lead us to Paul, which was nearly as valuable a find as the venue itself. We're super happy that we chose him as our Wedding photographer.
First off, Paul is an incredible communicator - he'll email you with absolutely every last detail you could possibly ask for, in terms of price options, scheduling, ideas for traditional vs out-of-the-box event pictures, and anything else that could come to mind. Despite being constantly busy with various other gigs, he always takes care to reply and keep in touch with you so you're well on track for your event. We never had to worry about him for an instant, he was 1000% on top of things before, during and after the Wedding.
Second, he's an excellent photographer and his prices are quite reasonable - which was a huge relief for us. We were worried we might have to sacrifice quality for affordability, or go over budget for the sake of good pictures, but neither was the case with Paul. He provides you with a wide range of price options for package deals to fit pretty much anyone's budget - both for the photos themselves and for typical accessories such as Wedding albums and canvas printing / shipping.
Lastly, the man means business when he's on the job. Absolutely polite and charming to work with, but also not shy about shepherding couples and their friends/families in order to get the much-needed photos taken care of - which is a must-have for big events. We went over a comprehensive game plan as to what kind of pictures we needed beforehand, and then he made sure to get as many pictures done as possible in the time we had on our Wedding day - despite having to move 80-ish people or so from place to place throughout the day and make sure all of them were photographed.
Basically he's great at what he does, and moreover he's a consummate professional. If you want to avoid some of the stress of coordinating with vendors for your special day, and if you're in NY state, reach out to Paul and let him take good care of you.

We used Sandra as our photographer for our special day! Paul and Sandra were immediately responsive, professional and flexible. I'm not a big photo girl and never felt photogenic but Sandra made everything so easy with her direction and suggestions. When things didn't go as planned, she quickly jumped in with solutions. Our first touch didn't go exactly how we originally envisioned since guests started to arrive pretty early and we didn't want them to see us she quickly came up with a backup plan that was even better than our original plan. Sandra also turned into a seamstress when the loop on my dress broke, without hesitation she said "it's okay, we can fix it" something she absolutely did not have to do. Couldn't of been happier with our day and of course the pictures are stunning! -

Paul and his team were amazing! Paul was unavailable for our wedding so we had Sandra do our photography. She was an excellent communicator and extremely quick with her responses. We had asked her a special request to get pictures of me with our cats and she did an amazing job. All little details and requests, she really cared about and knocked it out of the park with. At times it felt like she was guiding us through every step of the day, which helped us be less stressed out.
Both her and Paul were incredibly nice and great to work with. They are also very understanding about budget and are willing to work with you to figure out what the best options are. The pictures are incredible and my wife and I couldn’t be happier !

Gorgeous Photos and High Quality Service

Paul was incredible to work with. He was very communicative but laidback leading up to the wedding, which helped ease any anxiety we felt leading up to the wedding day. The week before the wedding, we had a phone call to discuss the details, though he didn't need any guidance from us. He advised us to be ourselves during the day, which also alleviated so much stress, and our favorite photos were the ones when we didn't have to worry about the camera. We trusted Paul throughout the entire day, and are so glad we did--he knows exactly what he is doing. We were utterly blown away by the beautiful moments he captured. My husband and I could not have asked for a better photography experience with Sandra from Paul Saunders Photography! We got married in June of 2024 at Surfside on the Lake in Lake George. Sandra was amazing! We had met her the summer prior for our engagement shots (which we were also very happy with). She somehow managed to be everywhere and get amazing shots of every little detail, without ever being in the way. She was friendly and professional. Also, Paul was very responsive and generous. The portfolio of pictures we received was overwhelming - in a good way! Thousands of photos and all were amazing! Worth every penny and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our experience with Paul on (and before) our wedding day was exceptional. He spent about 30 minutes of the phone with me a couple of weeks prior to the wedding to talk about my hopes for wedding photos and learn about my family. We have a blended family with seven kids and he cared to learn about each one of them and their personalities. He also wanted to know about my siblings and parents anyone special to us that is no longer with us. He showed great sensitivity.
On the day of the wedding, Paul was on time; he may have been early but I was busy getting ready. He bounced around in a non-intrusive way catching candid moments and also offered some advice that helped capture some special moments.
What was most impressive is that he was able to recall everyone's names! When directing the larger group photos, he could tell a specific kid, by name, to move one step to the left or to lower their bouquet. Paul also had a great sense of humor - he has clearly been doing this for some time. He made wedding photos fun!
The pictures arrived a bit sooner than Paul had told us they would and they came out great! The website couldn't have been easier to navigate (select favorites, order photos and albums...etc).
We highly recommend Paul to capture your special day! -

5-11-24 Backyard Wedding
My husband and I found Paul Saunders Photography on the Knot and asked if he was available for our May 11th wedding. Paul was very prompt to respond and while he wasn't available, one of the photographers he works with, Geoff, was available. Paul kindly sent us portfolios of other weddings Geoff had photographed previously. My husband and I were happy with the photos and decided to hire Paul and Geoff to capture our special day.
Paul was always responsive to emails and sent us the next step for everything leading up to the big day and after. I was never left chasing him down. Even after the day he has been wonderful to communicate with as we waited for our photos.
Both my husband and I and our guests were impressed with Geoff. The photos were beautiful, and he was amazing at being there without drawing attention to himself. I found his style to be candid and documentary. He captured the details as he found them, which I appreciated. That doesn't mean he wasn't also excellent at giving us directions for the formal photos. Most importantly, at least to me, he was very calm the entire day and went with things as they happened. I had sent him as much information ahead of time and given him a photo list of everything I wanted. He did his best to cover everything I wanted and more. I keep getting compliments on how beautiful the photos are and how great he did. And I completely agree.
I have been entirely happy with my experience using Paul and Geoff. I chose to do the wedding by the hour instead of one of the packages. But Paul has been great about sending all my options should I want to add in prints or an album. In 100% honesty, I plan to print an album but I am a photographer and an artist and want to do all that myself. We received some preview photos days after the wedding and the full collection about a month after the wedding. -

Sandra did the photographs for our wedding and we couldn’t have been in better hands. Paul could not have been more fantastic. Our wedding was small and relatively informal but Paul treated us like VIPs and was so professional. He called us before the wedding and asked about family dynamics and names of important people. This made him so prepared and personable on the day of the wedding. At one point my stepson turned to me and said "it's like the photographer is part of the wedding" that's how instrumental he was. He even made sure my dog had a comfy place to enjoy the show! We just got back our wedding photos and I am so happy we chose Paul Saunders Photography! I talked to a bunch of photographers before choosing and found Paul to have the best portfolio and best value for our budget. Paul was unavailable for our date so paired us with his associate Jason who was excellent - fun, kept the stress down, listened to what we wanted and made the whole day everything we dreamed of! The communication between Paul and Jason leading up to the wedding and after the wedding was seamless and easy for us! We got preview photos about a week after the wedding and all of the (~1500 shots) a little over a month after). The only problem is I don't know how we are going to narrow down to shots for our album - but a problem I'm happy to have!! We loved working with Paul Saunders Photography. Paul was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. While Paul was already photographing another wedding, we booked with Paul’s assistant, Veronica. We spoke to Veronica about a week before the wedding and were instantly impressed with her professionalism and sincerity. She helped us create a timeline for the wedding day and a list of family photos to take. Her photos turned out incredible and were a great mix of posed vs candid. She captured the day beautifully and we are so excited to always have her photos to look back on to remember the day. -

Amazing photographer
I cannot say enough great things about Paul Saunders Photography. Paul was the photographer for my sisters wedding and the minute I met him then I knew I wanted him as my photographer. Paul was extremely responsive from the beginning. He is very professional and loves what he does. He makes a phone call about the week before and answers all your questions and put my mind at ease. The morning of the wedding he shows up and instantly creates a sense of calm. His sense of humor helped lighten the mood and it felt like I had known him for months. The photos I got in return with unlimited viewing and the opportunity to save them without watermarks is very unique and unheard of with other photographers.
