We knew right away when we met Paul and saw his beautiful photos that he would be the perfect wedding photographer for us. It was so easy and great to talk to Paul in the lead up to our wedding so he could get to know us, what we were looking for, and make a plan for our wedding day. It was easy to get overwhelmed or anxious in the wedding planning process, but that never happened with Paul.
Beginning with his upfront and fairly priced packages, Paul was one of the easiest vendors to work with. He was so responsive and helpful in answering our questions that definitely helped to put us at ease. Paul was professional, thoughtful, and clearly so passionate about being a wedding photographer.
We chose to begin our time with Paul at our first look. He had already mapped out a plan for where we would go and guided us through the nerves of the day with kindness and humor. Paul took such care to get all of the formal photos we requested with our families and wedding party, making sure we had breaks as we needed them, and getting the perfect shots along the way. We were perfectly at ease all day and never got overwhelmed with our ambitious shot list thanks to Paul and his assistant Amanda's incredible work.
Looking through all of the photos Paul delivered, we literally could not have asked for more or better. Not only are the formal "staged" pictures that you expect from traditional wedding photos absolutely breathtaking, the spontaneous shots of us and our guests from all the stages of our wedding day are exceptional. And we received them in just over a month from our wedding! We will cherish these photos always.
We are so completely impressed with Paul and what he delivered to us. We could not recommend him more! -

It’s hard to put into words just how wonderful of a photographer Paul is. My Husband and I found Paul researching online and upon speaking with him during our first meeting, we immediately knew we wanted him to photograph our wedding. Paul’s work speaks for itself and shows how much care and dedication he puts into every detail.
When we received our wedding photos, it was nearly impossible to choose favorites because every moment was captured so beautifully by Paul and his team. Even the videos that he included of the day were just perfect! He made this entire process so easy and relaxed we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer for your wedding, I highly recommend you seriously consider Paul to fill that role. I can promise you you will not regret it and will not be disappointed! Thank you, thank you, thank you Paul for capturing our wedding day so perfectly! -

Look at these photos!
Not only did Paul shoot our wedding day but we ended up doing our engagement session with him as well. We loved having this “trial run” for what to expect on our wedding day. It was a quick little snapshot of how Paul photographs and it gets all of that awkwardness out of the way. It solidified the old friend feeling yet again in our experience. And let me tell you that the photos that day continue to be some of our favorite photos together. I have always had my dog as my phone’s lock screen, until I replaced it with a photo Paul took at that engagement session (soon to be replaced with a wedding photo that Paul also captured). We ended that engagement shoot with excitement that our wedding day photos would be truly magical.
We met with Paul three weeks before our wedding, to discuss the plan for the day. Paul broke down our timeline for the day and made us feel less stressed about the big day. Now fast forward to our wedding day and the universe decided that rain was needed for the day. Paul, Amanda (his assistant) and Becky (2nd photographer that Paul had recommended) had shown up to our venue a little earlier than required to get set up and start pivoting the new rain plan. When I had shown up to the venue with my bridesmaids, Paul admittedly asked me if I was comfortable in the rain and I told him that’s why I brought some clear umbrellas. Paul captured all of the bridal prep while Becky focused on the groom’s prep. The first look photos came out amazing and it felt like it was just me and my husband in the room. We got all of the formal photos done before the ceremony and that was like clock work (all thanks to Paul’s planning). The ceremony and reception photos came out like the candid photos we envisioned, with Paul even laying down on the ground to get the perfect shots. It should also be mentioned that Amanda had even got video snippets from the day, including bridal prep, behind the scene videos of formal photos and even the ceremony. And then it came time for the night photos. Let me tell you when I saw the night time photos, my husband and I’s jaws dropped. The rain had really started pouring during those shots and it made the photos feel like a rainy fairytale. Paul and his team turned the rain into one of my favorite memories of the night.
Then it was time for Paul to leave. My husband and I were saying goodbye to an old friend and we were only hoping that we would cross paths with Paul in the future. We were the first wedding in a 4 wedding weekend for Paul, so we assumed that our friend needed some time to get our sneak peaks back to us. Instead, we were shocked to receive our 30 sneak peak photos from the wedding that night at 2:30 am. And then 2 months after our wedding, we received our final photos and couldn’t be more thrilled. It should be mentioned that when Paul mails out his photos, he sends along a little sticky note as well to the couple, a real personal touch to who Paul is as a photographer and person.
Our friends and family have seen our photos and they continue to say that they came out beautiful and perfect. We couldn’t be more grateful to have Paul as our photographer for our day. And if my words can’t convince you, Paul’s photos surely will!

Paul was an amazing photographer. He made us feel so comfortable when we interviewed him over Zoom that we booked him immediately. He actually suggested a smaller package than we were originally considering, as we had a smallish wedding, which we appreciated. He met with us again a few weeks before the wedding to go over logistics, and he was extremely thorough and professional.
Paul was not fazed by last minute hiccups and problematic guests, which are common at weddings. Interacting with Paul was comfortable and fun, which is great because you spend a ton of time with the photographer at your wedding.
We appreciated how the photos were delivered: divided into categories and chronological. It has made it easy to pick out favorites to share with our families. We can't wait to turn the photos into albums.
Obviously, every wedding involves finding and hiring many people to help make your dream day a reality. We feel that finding Paul (we were referred to him from close friends who got married a few months before us) was our best "find," and we highly recommend him to future couples looking for an amazing wedding photographer. -

As we were planning our wedding day the most important thing to me besides my dress was a good photographer. Why?
Because I wanted those memories for the rest of my life in my wedding gown to be amazing, beautiful and unforgettable.
I took my bridesmaids to a wedding expo at the Providence Convention Center and there he was standing Paul Spetrini. We looked through his work after browsing around. I was just blown away by his beautiful photos on display. I took his business card and immediately gave him a call to book him for our wedding. We got married this year.
Paul's professional manner walked us through all he has to offer at such a reasonable price.
Our pictures came out absolutely perfect!!!
Me and my husband were "wowing" at every photo we looked at. If you are looking for an amazing, talented, professional and great sense of humor in a photographer Paul Spetrini is your guy. You will not be disappointed. -

The Best!!
Brides to be, just use Paul as your wedding photographer. You will not regret it. There are no words to genuinely describe how happy I am with the whole experience.
I didn't know any photographers when I got engaged in 2024. I went to all the websites and Paul stuck out to me immediately. I knew he was going to be my wedding photographer before I even reached out for an initial chat. Not only budget friendly, but I liked all the information on his website including how open he was about his schedule. Transparency is key and Paul nailed it.
What I appreciate most before the wedding was our final conversation. Creating a timeline was something I dreaded and never formally wrote it down before that call. Paul kept things track and it was a huge relief to not do it by myself.
I never had any doubts or concerns. Everything went well. Paul is timely, communicates well, down to earth and friendly (someone I would totally be friends with!), but also very professional. He knows his stuff and is someone you can trust for your wedding.

Wedding planning is a lot of work. What do we want-A photographer?! Yes, you want Paul J. Spetrini as your photographer. Why? Because he goes out of his way to understand you and what you want for the wedding day. He will make sure you are receiving the best packages of photos and align times with your schedule. Paul will arrive at the venue on time. At the wedding expo, he displayed previous photos from weddings. These photos showed he captures every moment, and every moment he captures, tells your story. Are you camera shy? Perfect, he’s the right guy. When he takes photos of your night, you forget he’s even there.
On the wedding day, Paul was incredibly supportive—always reminding us to take a breath. He helped us with small details like placing the rings just right for photos and keeping everything on schedule. Most importantly, he consistently reminded us to pause and truly enjoy our wedding day.
He arrived early to start photos for the bridal party, and everything was beautifully organized in the order the photos were taken. I especially loved the unique shots of myself (the bride) looking into the mirror—those moments felt so personal and artistic. We also had a second photographer assisting with photos, videos, and preparations, which helped things run smoothly.
The wedding party and family portraits went by quickly and efficiently. Both Paul and his second shooter made sure we looked our best before each shot. One of my favorite moments was when we suggested we walk down a nearby path we had been unsure about before the wedding. We decided to go for it, and it ended up being the perfect spot—shaded with beautiful rays of sunlight peeking through. Paul said later that they were the most difficult shots of the year and after we received the photos, they were hands down my husband and I’s favorites. The photos we took there felt intimate and truly captured us as a couple, away from the hustle of the venue. Safe to say in the photography profession….Paul can conquer all challenges.
After the formal photos, Paul was everywhere—running around capturing candid moments. One standout memory was after we cut the cake: Jeremiah and I each grabbed a piece and fed each other a bite, and Paul quickly slid plates toward us and said, “Take a piece now before they serve it to everyone.” It’s thoughtful gestures like that which make Paul so amazing—he’s always looking out for you and making sure you soak in every part of your day.
The day after the wedding, Paul sent us sneak peeks—and they were absolutely stunning. He had mentioned it would take about six weeks to receive the full gallery, as he had a lot of editing to do. Once everything was ready, he emailed us with an update and let us know the USB with all our photos was on its way.
When we received it, we were blown away. Every photo was beautifully organized into folders, and included not just pictures but amazing videos of the dancing, toasts, bridal entrance, and more. It was such a special experience to sit with family and relive the day together—it truly felt like we were there all over again.
Paul also creates a personalized blog post for each wedding and shares it on his website. It features a curated collection of photos from the entire day, offering another beautiful way he preserves the magic of the moment. The blog also gives a glimpse into Paul’s creative process and how he approached capturing our special day. My husband still scrolls through the blog post on his downtime and admires Pauls’ work of our wedding day
Paul goes above and beyond to ensure your wedding photos are nothing short of amazing. He didn’t hesitate to lie on the ground for the perfect shot or dash around during our last dance to capture every moment. If you're looking for a fun, skilled, and professional photographer who delivers incredible results without breaking the bank, don’t search any further once you see his name.

We found Paul through our neighbors, who had recently had him as their wedding photographer and couldn’t say enough good things about him to us. After reaching out to him, he was organized and clear with expectations from the start. He scheduled a call with us where he reviewed samples of his photography and talked about his approach. After speaking to a lot of vendors and feeling stressed about having no idea what questions to start with, it was SO helpful to talk to someone who knew what information was relevant to us (even if we didn’t know it ourselves). It says a lot that he puts so much effort into his conversations with you, even before you’re officially his clients. We were so relieved he was still available for our wedding date! And unlike so many things in the wedding industry, he is reasonable with his pricing which was just an added bonus.
From that call up until we got our photos a few weeks ago, every step of the process was so easy and pleasant. He provides everything you need up front, is extraordinarily organized, and is also just a joy to work with. When our wedding date was approaching, he scheduled a meeting with us to go over the details of the day from start to finish to make sure he wouldn’t miss any important photos. He makes a list of every permutation of formal group photo you want, every small detail you want photographed, helped us decide where to have our first-look, and even helped us workshop some small things we had planned for our reception. It was clear he genuinely cares about what he does and who he works with, and he made the effort to get to know us as people far more than other vendor we worked with.
As far as the actual day of - he is all the things you need a photographer to be (punctual, reliable, prepared, personable) but also played a role I didn’t expect which is he was calming, funny, and made space for the big emotions of the day. As a result, I feel like our photos really show our personalities and tell the story of our day. He also had an assistant (Amanda) with him, who was so sweet and helpful with arranging the perfect shot and supplying tissues.
After the wedding itself, we had the pleasant surprise of getting an e-mail that very night from Paul with a few sneak previews – our friends and family couldn’t believe how quickly he got that out to us. He is very clear in when to expect your photos, and even provides you with a website where you can check where your wedding is in his queue. Once you get your photos, you get 1) a USB drive mailed to your home filled with so many photos 2) a website with a subset of the highlights for you to share with family/friends and 3) a blog post Paul writes about your wedding with photos, which was so touching.
This review was honestly difficult to write just because of how highly we would recommend Paul. He provides beautiful photographs that we will continue to look at for the rest of our lives and honors the significance of the day with his work. We are now hoping for other friends or family to get married just so we can recommend Paul!! -

Fun, Affordable, Professional, Wedding Photographer!
Paul was all-around everything you want in a wedding photographer! We met Paul at a wedding expo, and were attracted to his very evident knowledge of his craft and his reasonable package pricing. As our photographer, he was punctual, knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and most importantly he made us look and feel like our best selves. He ensured the wedding stayed on schedule and got every photo we wanted and we could not be happier with the results! Whenever we had questions, Paul was able to answer all of them promptly. He also asked us some questions that helped us identify things we needed that we hadn’t thought about.
Paul also offered to have a second photographer for the wedding day. We chose to have a second photographer so that we could get some photos of the groom and groomsmen getting ready at the hotel while Paul was with the bride and bridesmaids. We knew that whoever Paul chose as a second photographer would be just as awesome as he is, and she was! We love the photos she captured of the men getting ready and during the wedding.
The day after our wedding, we received an email from Paul with 25 sneak peek photos of our special day and a link to his editing queue! The photos were amazing, and the editing queue was immensely helpful and helped us keep track of roughly when we would receive our photos. Since our wedding was in October, we knew we wouldn’t be getting our photos for a bit, as Fall weddings are popular, so the editing queue was a really nice touch, since we didn’t have to email Paul to find out how our photos were coming along. We also loved that we could request some photos in advance to use for Christmas cards.
Once our photos were complete, he emailed us to let us know that he would be sending us our USB in the mail. We received the USB photos in the mail within 3-4 days and loved all of our photos. The USB had all the photos from Paul and our second photographer broken down into folders, like ceremony photos, formal photos, reception photos, etc., and a document that described how everything on the USB was organized. Because it was so organized, it was very easy to find specific photos that we wanted to review.
Paul also writes a blog post for each wedding and uploads it to his website. The blog post includes photos from throughout the whole day and it’s another way that Paul helps capture the magic of the day. It shows us Paul’s process and how he approached capturing our wedding!
Overall, Paul works incredibly hard to make sure the wedding photos are the best they can be (he even laid on the ground to get some amazing shots of some sick air guitar of Kayla and her dad to AC/DC). If you’re in the market for a fun, talented, and professional photographer who won’t break the bank, you’ve found him! -

Oh my, were we lucky to find Paul. Like many, we had resorted to intense vendor research, reading review after review in the sea of photographers, and each just felt like they were missing something. Sure, budget was a major factor for us, and of course we wanted high quality photos, and we also were looking for someone we would get along with, who would "get us" and share our perspective. A tall order for someone you've never met. This person would follow us around all day; we'd have to be comfortable with them. When we learned about Paul, we immediately could sense his ease, greatly appreciated his affordability and package options, and were overall sold by his personality, humor and wit. We tend to be very awkward when it comes to photos (what do I do with my hands?!), and he was incredibly supportive in giving us great tips and instructions that led to a whole album that looked and felt so naturally us (a very nice version of us!).
We had to plan our wedding from out-of-state and leading up, he was super easy and responsive to work with from afar. Paul is very organized, asked smart questions and was open to our ideas as well (such as letting us take him on a boat!). Everything was timely from our initial call, to the moment he arrived, to receiving our photos. He and his assistant, Amanda, pinpointed each shot down to the finest detail. Looking at our photos, I am in full wonder of how he got those shots.
If you want a photographer who is not only patient, kind and very skilled at his craft, but is also thoughtful, detailed and a blast to be around, Paul is your guy! He honestly was just so much fun to have with us on our wedding day and an MVP we'll forever treasure. -

Whether you're newly engaged and are just getting into the weeds of wedding planning or have just seen a lot of romantic movies showing the craziness of wedding planning, you're probably aware that it's an incredibly daunting task finding the right photographer to capture the biggest day of your life - your wedding! Especially with all your friends and family gathered in one place, you want that day to perfect. Having the right photographer on our wedding day made our day seamless, fun and most importantly, gave us a chance to truly just be in the moment and celebrate our love. Our feelings of pure bliss and joy on our wedding day are so clearly evident from the stunning photos that we just got back and now get to enjoy! We've been beaming since we got them this week and have been looking at them non-stop. We've shared photos with many of our friends and family already and have been told by everyone how much they love the photos! We cannot thank our photographer, Paul J. Spentrini, enough for these photos that we get to cherish for a lifetime.
Let's start from the beginning. When interviewing our photographers, we knew that obviously we wanted nice pictures, which was confirmed by the portfolios we viewed, but more importantly, we wanted to feel comfortable working with our photographer. This individual is going to be with you for an extensive amount of time on a very important, and consequently, likely very stressful day, so that relationship is essential. We had checked out Paul’s website after viewing our vendor list and reviews from the Knot, and we were so excited from the start based on the phenomenal photos we saw and the unique personal touch on his website: individual blogs from all the sessions he does. We could tell that he just truly loves what he does - capturing love stories. From the moment we met with Paul during our initial Zoom call, we knew that he was going to be the perfect photographer for our wedding. His structured yet go with the flow approach to our interview was different from other photographers we had interviewed. Other photographers had a more rigid feeling, weren't super personal, or just didn't seem to have a lot of room to let us be us. Being the goofy couple that we are, we appreciated that Paul appreciated that about us and just let us be ourselves during the interview. He presented his many photography packages, which are all extremely reasonably priced, and just let us share stories about our life and our interests. His similar love of superheroes just made it that much easier to book Paul as our photographer. We were all too excited to hear that he still had our weekend available to photograph our wedding so we booked him ASAP because man does his schedule fill up fast!
If you never thought you'd need an engagement package, we'd highly recommend it if it's within your budget! It truly helps form that relationship with your photographer before the craziness of the wedding day. We never thought of the importance of an engagement photo session, but it really made such a huge difference. Paul had great recommendations of timing and where to capture photos at Roger Williams Park with our dog, Kalli. He seamlessly led us through multiple areas, humored our outfit changes and superhero props, and ended the session with breathtaking sunset photos. We were thrilled to get sneak peeks of that session within a day and even more thrilled when we got all of the photos back! Those photos made it all too easy to make our save the dates and invitations - talk about slam dunk photos! We loved our engagement photos so much and were so eager to see what Paul was going to capture on our wedding day.
Prior to the wedding day itself, Paul was on top of communication and very organized in regards to the timeline of the day. He helped us coordinate with our venue wedding manager and DJ to make sure the timeline flowed seamlessly. He was readily available for last minute pose ideas even during the week of our wedding. His schedule was crazy busy, but knowing his dedication to each and every wedding left us with peace of mind knowing that he'd do an amazing job photographing our wedding, even if he did have several weddings the weekend and week before!
On the day itself, things were already in full swing for Paul by the time my bridesmaids and I arrived at the venue. He was very organized and gave us a timeline for when we should start getting ready for photos once we got to the bridal suite. Once we got going with the getting ready and first look photos, everything seemed to flow quite effortlessly. We had so much fun with the photos that before we knew it, we had to head over to the ceremony site to actually get married! The trend that we noticed from there on out that we loved was that we never even knew we were being photographed (besides the bride-groom formals after the ceremony, even then those were fun!). The candids that Paul captured from the ceremony and even during breaks in the formal photos (both before and after the ceremony) were truly organic and captured our happiness on that day in a way that no staged photo could. Thankfully we were blessed with such fantastic weather so that Paul could reflect this in his photos. The lighting in our photos is truly breathtaking and makes us stare in awe every time we look at our photos, particularly after the ceremony and on the dock by the lake. The photos from the reception truly encompass the fun-filled evening, with everyone on the dance floor and even participating in the picture game as we ran from table to table during a single song to get pictures with each table. Paul was so incredibly helpful and just a comforting presence throughout the entire day. Words cannot express the excitement and joy that we had when we received our photos! The photos are true perfection and magic. Paul's blog on his website was also so incredibly touching! We loved that personal touch of his reflection of the day. In summary, if you want a photographer that will truly capture YOUR love story, there is no one better than Paul J. Spetrini. We will be forever grateful for these stunning photos!

I will always brag about how amazing Paul is. If you want a photographer that is truly there for YOU, Paul is your guy. He gave great instruction, what to expect, reminders, and overall a calmness. Paul photographed our wedding and we could not have been more satisfied. He was incredibly on top of every step in the process and every interaction was seamless. It was incredibly helpful to have his insight when planning our day since the timing of everything can get very complex. It isn’t always what you expect you’ll need from a wedding photographer but having someone make sure you make time to actually take pictures is incredibly helpful. He also brought an assistant with him which made everything run even smoother and sped up the process.
And the photos he took were incredible. He captured every moment of our day, beautifully. From watching him slide on the floor to get an angle during our first dance to taking pictures for anyone attempting to take a selfie in the mid-day sun, he was everywhere at once. He wrangled both of our families for the formal photos and smoothly directed everyone without missing a beat. It was so efficient that people watching knew what he expected of them before he gave directions. He also took wonderful couple photos for us, some of the poses seemed a bit silly but made for incredible shots.
Lastly the pricing was excellent, of the photographers we considered he provided by far the most value. We have full rights to print our pictures and a physical flash drive with all 1200+ pictures. So many other photographers only give access to a temporary website or require you to print photos directly through them but not Paul.
I fully intend to recommend him to every person I know getting married as long as he is in business and hope to see him again at a wedding in the future. -

My husband knows Paul personally and when we got engaged the first person we both thought of for photography was Paul! He shot our wedding and engagement session. Neither of us love being in front of the camera but Paul makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. Having him as our photographer took so much stress and anxiety off our shoulders. On wedding day Paul didn’t stop for a second to capture everything! He produced so so many fabulous shots. I love that his photos are real, they’re not overly edited or staged. They truly capture the moment, his journalism background shines through. The best thing about Paul is he’s the most outstanding communicator we dealt with. He responded to every email, question, and concern without any hesitation. He’s so quick at responding and breaks everything down. He really thinks of everything- his website updates with his work status and his availability. You don’t find that everywhere! Paul’s so accommodating and affordable. If you need a photographer book Paul ASAP!! You won’t be disappointed! -

This man is by far the best engagement/wedding photographer ever! I loved every single photo this man took of myself and my husband. He is amazing! He really Knows how to capture a photo like no one I have ever seen! I am truly blessed that he was our photographer. I plan on asking him to do my baby photos once we get to that point! His pricing is extremely fair too! He takes his time getting to know you as well which I feel is important because you want to feel comfortable with the person taking your photos of course! I can’t say it any other way he is just amazing at what he does! -

Paul Is The GOAT!!
Paul is simply the best. Choosing Paul as our wedding photographer felt like it was almost fate. I first met Paul at a wedding expo in Hanson, MA. There were multiple photographers there, but I was instantly draw to Paul’s booth. When I walked up to view some of his sample pictures, the book in the middle was open to a page that had my close family friend as the JP. It was a sign and from our first conversation I new he was the right fit for us.
Like most brides, I was nervous leading up to our wedding. But Paul made me feel completely reassured every time he checked in with me. He helped prepare me for what to expect on the big day and was very detail oriented, sending me a timeline for the day (I desperately needed his guidance).
Our wedding was Oct. 1st, 2023 at Bittersweet Farm in Westport, MA. My wedding party and guests are still raving about how great Paul was. He truly worked his butt off to make sure he captured every aspect of our wedding. From all the décor, table settings, first look, ceremony, formal pictures, and my favorite the candid shots. He did not disappoint! All of our pictures came out fabulous!
Paul’s style and personality really fit in well with our group. He was so easy to work with and helped keep our timeline on track. I’m not a big fan of posing for pictures, I usually look like I have a fake smile. But Paul made it fun and actually got a real smile out of me (lots of smiles). We really wanted our wedding to be a big celebration and Paul made sure he captured that.

Hello all, we were married on October 8th 2023 and were lucky to have the best photographer , Paul Spetrini. We met Paul at a bridal expo and I loved his energy as well as his photo samples. His portfolio has amazing photos , and is also inclusive of everyone. Our engagement photos showed how committed Paul was to getting the perfect shot , as he hung off of a bridge trying to get it ! He was great at putting us at ease which is so needed when we clearly don’t do this often.
Paul was a huge help and essentially planned out our wedding timeline. I had no idea how things worked. Times for getting ready , times for special photos , etc. I was very anxious and contacted Paul with some questions as to the timeline and he calmly went over a tentative timeline for me so I had something to look at, waiting for more things to be finalized.
Paul and I had a final call in which he asked who we needed photos with. One of the things he does really well is , he is not intrusive. He takes photos without telling you “ hey stop and look at me !” To make sure we did get photos of the folks we wanted he kept a list and let us know when it was time. This way we had the must have photos but the rest were candid. Paul also took into account family dynamics , which are so needed when there is a blended family as a lot of folks have now.
Paul’s communication level was very high. Whether it be by email , text , phone calls , he got back to us quickly. If he was not free that moment he let us know and circled back.
You can tell Paul has done this a long time by how professional he is. This is a man who has perfected his craft for sure!
The last important part is the photos. I as well as every other bride was anxious to get my photos back so Paul was kind enough to send some “ sneak peeks”. It was great to have some to share while we wait for the entire photos to arrive. He has a que on his website so you can see where you are in terms of them being ready. He had quotes us mid -November and that’s when they arrived. My photos are beautiful. I love the photos with the details of the event since I didn’t really get to see much , it was a whirlwind. It was cool to see our tables set up and flowers and favors before we got there. The formal photos , the lighting on them was amazing. The lights bounced off me and made me look like a princess. Paul managed to capture some awesome photos of my ring bearers who are young , but he was able to get them corraled for photos. Paul captured every detail , every special moment, in looking through the photos I am amazed he got it all.
Paul is fabulous , I would highly recommend him for any wedding photos you would need. -

I met Paul briefly at a wedding expo, after looking into a few other photographers I decided to reach out to see if he was available. Luckily for us, he was. He didn't say yes right away though. To my surprise he wanted to meet in person or via zoom to make sure I was okay with his style and personality. Because of that I knew things were going to be great. Come wedding day he was prompt and professional. You can really tell he loves what he does and wants the best photos for every job he does. The amount of beautiful photos you receive is almost overwhelming. Never mind, the app access and in depth blog that he posts about your day. I really cannot recommend Paul enough! -

Where to begin! We first met Paul at a wedding expo in Rhode Island. His portfolios immediately sold us, and we knew right then and there that Paul was our guy! Paul was amazing from start to finish. Paul was the ABSOLUTE BEST person we worked with for our wedding, by a long shot. Would recommend 1000% (and that’s not a typo!). And it’s no surprise to us that he’s gotten only glowing reviews :)
When we started looking for a photographer, we wanted someone down-to-earth who would be able to document our wedding and capture not just the big moments, but also the fleeting ones. Looking at Paul’s website, it seemed like he might be a good fit:
(1) 17 years of experience in journalism!
(2) He really lets his personality shine, and his openness immediately made us feel more comfortable too :)
(3) His photos are so genuine, it’s all emotion and it’s real, not staged.
Email communications from the start were amazingly smooth, and our first meeting with him made it clear that Paul was the one who was going to photodocument our wedding. The meeting was structured and comprehensive, Paul did a fantastic job of explaining the process and answering all our questions, while making it clear that we had total control over the wedding decisions and that he was there to support us. It was so easy to trust Paul, he definitely knows what he’s doing yet respects that each couple and their wedding is unique.
Fast-forward to day of our (outdoor) wedding, it ended up downpouring but Paul did a perfect job of navigating the rain and helping us navigate it too! And we (and our guests!) all noticed his dedication:
(1) He brought clear umbrellas so we could still get some outdoor photos and monitored the rain so closely that we could also get some outdoor photos without umbrellas!
(2) At various points throughout the night, Paul lay on the floor, got up on chairs, all to get the perfect photo!
(3) Paul checked in with us to see how we were doing and if there was anything we needed, which was so heartwarming.
(4) We got sneak peeks the night of our wedding! It was amazing how we could already share some photos with friends and family the next morning at brunch.
The day was stressful, but every time we spoke with him or were doing photos, it was calming because he knew was he was doing and made us laugh :)
And honestly, (and I think this happens for a lot of couples) the day was so overwhelming too. So much happened and it was a LOT to process, with a lot of feelings and mixed emotions. But once we got Paul’s photos of our wedding and started going through them, we got to see so much more of our wedding and I think that’s exactly what we needed. It’s kinda hard to explain—just hire Paul. -

My husband and I met Paul at a wedding expo very early in our wedding planning and was the 2nd vendor we hired after picking the venue of course. The first thing Paul said upon meeting us was “I love brides with short hair” that comment immediately put us at ease and definitely sparked our interest to learn more about Paul and his services as we are a couple that wanted to be completely ourselves on our wedding day and wanted vendors that would allow us to do that but we also wanted a photographer that would be able to capture that on camera as well. I can promise we were NOT DISAPPOINTED with picking Paul. He was well within our budget and after looking through his work we set up a meeting to meet 1 on 1 with him. Why husband and I definitely wanted a photographer who would capture all those silly candid moments throughout the day as that’s who we are but also someone who would capture those real emotional moments and that our photos would tell the story of our day. We can truly say Paul accomplished all that and more.
From our engagement shoot all the way through our wedding day and beyond Paul has been extremely communicative and went above and beyond to what we expected from his services. My husband and I are not very comfortable taking posed photos but right from the start of the engagement photo session he made us feel relaxed and let us have fun. He also allowed us to include some photos of my mom pinning me for my nursing graduation during the engagement session, which he really didn’t have to do. He was also very familiar with or wedding venue and engagement session spots therefore knowing where on site to get the best shots.
Now to the wedding day, when Paul arrived at the bridal suite we were already underway with hair and makeup and he arrived just as I was making an inappropriate joke and he just went with the flow and started snapping photos. I will say our candid photos he took are some of my favorites as they showcase who we really are and that’s what we wanted.
As for the above and beyond that Paul provided, my dress was all small buttons down the back and paul not only suggested but actually had a crochet hook with him to help with my dress and allowed us to use it again at the end of the night to get me out of the dress. During the reception at one point he was seen laying on and sliding across the dance floor to get pictures of my nephew’s dancing, which we are extremely greatful he did. Our contract also included a second photographer Aram who was also amazing and even had things to help keep our 2 year old nephew engaged so we could get the family portraits with him. Paul even re-bustled my dress at one point when it fell down while we were doing photos. He listened and did everything we wanted and went with the flow of the day making the day easier and much more enjoyable for us.
Paul took well over 2000 photos of our wedding day and after going through them all we are extremely happy we chose to work with Paul and are having a very hard time narrowing down our best photos.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Paul to any couple looking for a photographer that will capture those moments you want and some you honestly won’t remember happening but will be so greatful he caught, I promise you will not be disappointed. Hands down the best vendor we hired for our wedding day and worth every penny and then some. Where should we begin? It has taken much longer to write this review than we had imagined. The reason being is the fact that we want to say the perfect words for a perfect photographer!
Paul reached out to us several times before the wedding and each call ended up being a very fun and light conversation! Paul is very easy to talk to.
He understood exactly what our vision was for our wedding day.
The day of the wedding, Paul showed up early, but just in time to calm me down. My nerves were all over the place and somehow within five minutes of Paul being there he was able to get me to a calm state. I will be 50 years old in two days and this was my very first time getting married. Paul never made me feel like an older bride. He just made me feel like a beautiful, vibrant, young bride! One of the reasons that we chose Paul is because of the diversity on his website. He had people of all ages and races on his page. He had all different types of ceremonies from religious to spiritual to just good old plain fun.
Right before our wedding, I ( the bride) started to have second thoughts about not getting a videographer. I was thinking that there's no way possible that a photographer can capture the true emotions of the day. I was also thinking that there's no way that a photographer could capture intimate moments without music in the background, or some kind of background noise. BOY was I wrong! Paul captured every intimate moment! He captured so much emotion from so many different people! It shined so brightly in his photos!
Paul made things so natural that there were several times when we were looking through the pictures that we said “Wow, I don't remember that he was around for that shot!" We didn't notice him half the time unless he was sliding across the floor to get a shot of someone break dancing or climbing on a chair to get our huge wedding party in one picture.!.
When we received our sneak peek photos, we were so thrilled, but we definitely didn't realize the surprises that we would get in our final photos.
When we receive them, we cried, we laughed, and we went right back to our wedding day.❤️ We were able to relive that special day. All of the feelings of our special day came flooding back while we looked through our photos.! We will now have that forever!
To sum it all up, we must tell you that Paul went above and beyond to make a memories last forever.
We got so many compliments on Paul, almost as many as we got on the entire wedding! There are not enough words to describe how thrilled we are with Paul. He gave 110% the entire wedding. Start to finish we could not have been happier. We are thrilled with his prices, his work, his personality, professionalism, friendliness, and anything else you might want in a photographer.

Paul was our photographer for our wedding on May 6, 2023. He was very professional, reliable, and I can tell he enjoys what he does. I only received the sneak peak photos so far but the photos are beautiful. On a windy day, he made sure our hair was out of the way before taking pictures. I didn't see but I heard he got down low on the floor to take pictures of the children during the reception. Again, he enjoys what he does. Great personality and fun to work with. His wedding packages are affordable. He's well known and has a lot of experience. Many of the guests were asking about him and said only good things about him. When we got engaged the first thing we knew we needed to lock in was a photographer. We wanted someone who would vibe with our personalities, be passionate in their art, while also not breaking the bank. It was challenging at first but then we found Paul J. Spetrini. Looking through his photo gallery of previous couples and beautifully written blogs, it is obvious to anyone that Paul is selfless and truly cares for each couple.
Fast forward to May of 2022, we had our engagement session with Paul. At first we had decided on a certain location special to us. However, when we got there the wind was unbelievable. After spending some time at this location, Paul recommended we visit another site with less wind. We were blown away (pun intended) by Paul’s jump to action and his care for our photos to come out the way we hoped. The pictures we took at this location, regardless of the relentless wind, were beautiful and perfect. As we drove to the next location I couldn’t help but think about how accommodating Paul was. When we received our engagement photos back I was surprised by how many I fell in love with. He was so creative with poses and angles and it shows! We couldn’t wait to have our wedding photos taken in December.
While waiting for December to arrive, Paul would check in consistently to make sure everything was on track and see how we were feeling. This meant the absolute world to us, that he would take time out of his busy schedule to see how we were doing. His compassion for us was apparent and he truly cared about us. About a week or so before our wedding Paul checked in to go over the general outline of the day, questions we may have had, and any remaining important things about the day. He wanted to make sure we had a stress-free and happy day.
Finally the big day had come and we were elated to start our day. Paul was right on time and even came a little earlier than we expected to get ready! He was super prompt and checked in with us as we got ready. One thing I’ll never forget was as I was getting ready, the door to my bridal suite would occasionally open and Paul was there to block me from being seen. It was a simple thing that came second nature to him but meaningful for me. Our wedding day was one of the smoothest days I have ever had and a lot of that has to do with Paul’s professionalism. He took an unbelievable amount of photos and paid attention to detail throughout the whole day. He took pictures so quickly and jumped into action when he saw the perfect moment. My family and friends loved his personality and mentioned to us how we really were blessed to have him. We couldn’t have agreed more!

I’ll admit, I’m not the most comfortable with the idea of taking a ton of pictures. I was that much more nervous knowing that my wedding photos are forever, and wanted to make sure that they were amazing. Paul made the entire process so smooth, seamless, and easy! The pre-planning he goes through with you before your wedding day really helps ease some of the inherent stress you feel while prepping for one of the biggest days of your life. That day, I was super nervous and anxious and I know he could tell. He made sure to pull me aside, especially through the hectic moments of getting dressed and ready to head to the church, and remind me to relax and soak everything in. We first met Paul at a wedding expo back in the winter of 2022. We had been speaking with quite a few different photographers at that point to see who we might like to capture our wedding day. Within the first few minutes of talking to Paul we knew we had to book his services. You could tell how genuine of a person he truly was, and we felt that he was the right person to do our photography. Everything about planning a wedding can leave you feeling uncertain or hesitant about the plans but once we locked in the date with Paul, we had zero doubts that the pictures would turn out great.
Paul was on time and ready to get to work. He met with us before to ask us what we were looking for and you could tell that on the day of the wedding he knew exactly what he wanted to do. He was very easy to work with and instructed us the way a true professional should when you might be thinking of a million other things during such big moments. Paul even helped us create a timeline for the day which was a huge help. He got every picture we asked for and then some! You could just tell he really cared about his work and about making lasting memories for us.
Everything from his organization skills, calm demeanor, professionalism, and passion for photography was on full display. I would highly recommend Paul for his work and skill set. You would not be disappointed. Also, when the wedding is over and the pictures are ready, for that first view, he comes up big and hands them over to you in a way you will appreciate. Paul is AWESOME! We found him at a Bridal Expo, two years before we had planned to get married. From the moment we met Paul, we knew he was the right photographer for us. We loved not only his style of work, but his fun and down to earth personality. Paul has been nothing but caring, patient, and responsive since the beginning. He has been there for us while we planned, postponed, held and wrapped up our wedding festivities. On the day of the wedding, Paul was amazing to work with. He started shooting from the moment he stepped out of the car until the last song played that night. Paul didn’t miss a beat. Couldn't be happier with Paul's work! From our very first meeting, Paul was so easy to work with and we knew he was the right photographer for us. Some aspects of your wedding, you know exactly what you want, color scheme, vibe, setting.....but some areas require significant research and 'window shopping' before you can make a decision. Photographers fall into this category. The editing style, costs and connection you have with your photographer are all things to consider. When I found Paul J. Spetrini Photography on a wedding website, I could quickly see his style was what we were looking for; true colors, clean, crisp and without over the top filtering. I went to his website and found EVERYTHING I needed to know about his services. Packages, costs and availability was all there and I can't express how helpful it is to have all the information readily available and not have to spend time reaching out to a vendor that is potentially significantly overpriced. I was very please to see his package prices and immediately reached out to setup a meeting.
Once we agreed on a package and signed a contract with Paul, Covid hit and, like so many others, we had to postpone our 12/31/2020 wedding. Paul was so easy to work with to reschedule the date, there was absolutely no resistance or friction with him to reschedule, he was very accommodating. About a week before my actual wedding I decided that I wanted a second photographer, an add-on Paul offers, and he was able to accommodate this last minute request; and Rachel was amazing to work with!
We decided to do a 'first look' and I'm so glad we did. Paul did the most amazing job capturing this special moment and used his professional eye to capture us in the most magical light and poses. We spent some time outside by the water, in Newport RI's blustery December temps, and were able to capture some of the most beautiful sunset photos. He truly has an eye for the perfect lighting. We swiftly got through the family and group photos before preparing for our ceremony. Being an indoor location the light is alway unpredictable, but Paul truly made it work and gave us some excellent ceremony photos. The reception was no different, and indoor hotel ballroom with dim lights were no issue for Paul or Rachel, they captured all the moments I otherwise missed of our guests having the time of their lives. I'm so happy with our decision to hire Paul as the photographer for one of the most important day's of our lives. 5 stars!!! -

Heartfelt everlasting picture memories of our wedding
As my wife and I were preparing to get all vendors for our 2020 wedding, one of my closest friends suggested Paul. He had photographed her wedding a few years before and had been referred as a wonderful professional. We went over her wedding photos and just loved his unique ability to perfectly capture the sentiment behind each photo. We sent him an e-mail, booked an appointment and met him at a Starbucks to check if he would be a good fit for us.
One of the things that truly stand out about Paul is his passion for his work. While sipping coffees, he spoke about how he began his career and what led him to shoot weddings.
We went over his portfolio, spoke about what we were expecting, discussed pricing and if he was available for our special date. As my then fiancée and I were driving home, we had already decided we were going to book him!
This all happened at the end of 2019, and as we all know, unfortunately, the pandemic changed our plans for our beautiful wedding in 2020. Thankfully, Paul was available for our re-schedule date. Leading to our wedding day, he contacted us to review how to best make use of his time with us with the package we had chosen. We discussed both bridal preps, when we wanted to complete formal pictures (before or after ceremony), ceremony and then reception.
On the day of the wedding, Paul was truly wonderful, supportive and such a pleasure to have around us. He helped us feel calm, kept us on schedule and truly went above and beyond to make sure he got the right angle for our pictures! We were sad when he was done with his time at the wedding because we felt like he had become a friend. He sent us sneak peaks the day after the wedding and both of our jaw just dropped. As we flipped through each picture, we relived the best night of our lives. He captured moments I thought were only going to live in my memory, I was just so glad he registered them all eternally in picture form.
We received our final pictures about 6 weeks post wedding. Due to spike in COVID-19 cases, we did not meet in person to review them. He mailed the flash drive to us. The case in which the flash drive arrived was personalized with our names and some pictures of the wedding. We were overcome with emotion, once again, as we fondly reviewed the beautiful images he captured of our wedding night. I cannot thank Paul enough for the heartfelt everlasting picture memories my wife and I have of our wedding.

WHERE TO EVEN BEGIN?
Simply put, Paul is absolutely incredible & I can confidently say our wedding day would not have been the same without him. Heck, the entire wedding process, would not have been the same without him. We first met Paul at the beginning of last year at a bridal expo & my sister in law went in a little while before us, and said, “guys, when you get there, you HAVE to meet Paul”. So, the very first thing we did was go & find him. We instantly clicked, he was super outgoing & we loved his work! My husband, Sean & I went home and decided we had to see if he was available for our date! Lucky us! He was!
Our engagement session was SO fun. I am usually super self conscious in front of the camera, but his whole process felt so natural. Up until the day of the wedding he assured me that everything would be okay and would go as planned. Morning of, I was (obviously) freaking out. The minute he showed up for getting ready pics, he had us all calm & collected. He was so helpful in running through the check list of what we needed to bring & he kept me calm. Our getting ready photos were so perfect, you would NEVER guess there were 15 of us packed into a small hotel room and somehow, he fit 12 ladies on a queen size bed for an amazing photo of my girls & our moms in our jammies. Incredible!
He went ABOVE & BEYOND at our wedding to take the perfect, most natural looking photos. So many of our family & friends complimented him to us, and whenever we talk about our wedding with anyone who was in attendance, Paul ALWAYS comes up in conversation. We received our first look sneak peaks the night of the wedding, and they were stunning. It made me so excited to see the rest!!
We received our photos today & I was absolutely amazed. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my entire life & Paul some how captured every moment perfectly. His photos instantly brought us back to our special day.

Working with Paul was such a great experience. We first found his work when he photographed our friends’ wedding that we attended a few years ago (and later saw pictures of the groom’s sister’s wedding for which they also used Paul). When I asked what the bride thought about working with Paul, her response was, “He will literally get down on the ground in the dirt to get the perfect shot.” That was not an exaggeration, there were multiple times where Paul ended up on the grass or on the dancefloor and the end result was definitely worth it.
I was not the typical bride that planned every aspect of her wedding from childhood so I definitely needed vendors that knew what they were doing and were able to help guide me to make sure our special day was everything we wanted it to be. From our first meeting, I knew Paul was exactly who we needed. His organization and professionalism are second to none. I found that many vendors make you reach out to them to try to get info like pricing and availability, but Paul’s information as well as his portfolio is readily available right on his website so you know exactly what he has to offer. From the detailed service contract to his communication skills to his unofficial role as Day-Of Coordinator, Paul was a major component that helped keep our wedding day flowing smoothly. When he saw that I was starting to stress out, he reminded me of his experience and that, “If I’m not worried, you don’t need to be worried.” He wasn’t, so I wasn’t and everything went according to plan (well, the things that we could control anyway).
We told Paul from the beginning that we and our families weren’t exactly photogenic (we aren’t the biggest fans of getting our pictures taken and feel like we always look awkward) so we knew once he told us about his photojournalistic background that he would be able to go with the flow and make sure that we didn’t just end up with a bunch of stiff, formal portraits. Paul also made sure to touch base with us to make sure he knew who was important and what moments we wanted to make sure were captured. The results were almost 2,000 images that bring me right back to that day and perfectly capture all of the emotions. Our wedding was three months ago and our guests are still raving to us about how impressed they were with Paul’s work. We have already referred two couple’s to Paul for their upcoming weddings and would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone who could ever possibly ask.

Completely Amazing!
There are almost no words for what Paul Spetrini has meant to us this year. From the moment we bounded over to his table at the Crown Plaza Wedding Expo after seeing a single picture, we knew we had found the perfect fit to capture our day. Paul is professional and engaging. He always respected all the quirkiness that came with the two of us and he quickly felt like a close friend. Paul was immediately excited for our vision for our wedding, our venue, and for the time of year. His dry sense of humor and confidence made us feel comfortable entrusting him with the photos of one of the most important days of our lives.
On the day of the wedding, he worked liked crazy. He was seemingly everywhere and nowhere at the same time. He blended fluidly into our crowd during the party, most people forgot they were being photographed completely. During bridal prep, he knew exactly what to say and how to lead me through the beginning of the day, allowing me time to reflect and release some of my nervous energy. He helped me relax and get excited for what was next. He was a strong guide for everyone that day, and his command behind the camera was incredible. You just wanted to listen to him and do what he said. Everyone trusted him and loved his energy. Even when he told our entire group of wedding guests to redo a moment for us, eventually creating one our favorite memories of that day. Paul really dives in and gets involved in the party, whether he is skirting through the dance floor or laying in the grass for a perfect angle, he knew where and when to be. We also had a second photographer, Mike, and the two of them made a great team, feeding off each other’s vision and making us laugh and have fun the whole time.
Getting a bunch of sneak peek pictures the night of our wedding was amazing. It made us even more excited to relive the day, because even the 25 pictures he sent, were perfect! Then after long anticipation, we got the final product. And oh my gosh were we stunned. The photographs are breathtaking. They feel like us and they feel like our day. You can hear and feel the laughter and the love in the photographs, each holding a full story. They are even more than what we could have hoped for, including the sheer number of them! It was so exciting to hear how engaged he was with our wedding and how much fun he had that day too. We recommend Paul to anyone who wants a responsive, excited, fun, and professional photographer. He will make you feel like you are the only ones that matter to him and that he is your best friend. Like I told my husband, “Paul my was spirit guide that day - he helped me realize that the day was about us and helped me relax”. A dream come true
My husband and I cannot express how amazing Paul was on our wedding day. We met Paul at a wedding expo and I knew right away he would be perfect to capture our special day. I had many requests on our wedding day and he made everything go so smoothly. All of my family and bridal party were amazed and how quick and organized he was with those stubborn family members who hate getting pictures taken. When it came to my 5 different first looks I wanted Paul was 100 percent on top of it. Our pictures are amazing and Paul even got in the middle of the dance floor and got great action shots! We honestly could not recommend Paul enough. Paul was professional throughout the whole process. I was very particular about getting about the photos and pictures and Paul delivered. What I liked most about working with Paul was how responsive he was, he took the the time to listen and hear us out in what we wanted. The quality of the pictures are next to none. They are beautiful and exceeded our expectations. I love that Paul throws in a mixture of the standard wedding photos with raw candids and everything in between. After meeting with several photographers very early in the process to choose the perfect one for our wedding we had no doubt Paul was the perfect one for us! We were extremely impressed right from the beginning. Paul was the only photographer that truly took time to meet with us, and find out about us; who we were individually, as a couple, and what our story was. He took the time to go through his portfolio and explain his process of photographing a couples wedding and truly capturing the day for them. This, right off the bat, told us that Paul was the right choice to capture our special day.
The product we received in the end was even better than expected. We started with an engagement session, which worked out great, as Paul took pictures from every possible angle! We went through several poses from each side and different angles so that he knew what we felt most comfortable with and liked the best. These of course came out great, and made us feel even more comfortable that we were in great hands for our big day!
Leading up to the wedding, Paul took the time to go over the entire day and every detail, as well as provide us with certain expectations so we could be prepared for the unexpected (as every Bride and Groom can attest there always are).
The day of our wedding was above and beyond anything we could have ever expected. Right from the beginning Paul caught all the special moments of preparation. Throughout the entire day he took control when necessary and provided guidance to keep everything on track in order to fit in all our desired formal photos; family, wedding party, various locations, and poses. During the Ceremony we didn't even notice him, but looking through all the pictures its clear he was all over the place to capture every single moment! Then, during the reception he took it to a whole other level!!! Every single person that attended our wedding mentioned how much work Paul put in to photograph everything! He was running around, sliding on the floor, and even standing on chairs. Going through the photos we were extremely impressed how he made sure to photograph the entire reception set-up before anyone arrived, as we didn't get much time to appreciate it the day of, and that he managed to take photos of every guest! He truly went above and beyond for our wedding day!
The final product was just as impressive as the work Paul put in the day of our wedding. Nearly 1800 absolutely beautiful photos were provided to us on an incredibly organized thumb drive. As we scan through the photos, we can fully appreciate how every single moment from our special day was captured. It was such an amazing experience working with Paul, and are absolutely thrilled with the memories he captured that we'll always be able to cherish!

We cannot thank Paul enough. Paul captured our wedding photos on 9/4/2021 and we could not be more happy with the way that they turned out. He perfectly captured our day, big moments and small moments, pulling together a beautiful array of photos that truly told the story of our wedding. He worked seamlessly with our other vendors making our day totally stress free. His turn around is quick, without jeopardizing quality. Paul photographed nearly 5000 photos the evening of our wedding and gave us 2000 edited photos! We loved that when Paul is finished with the photos he schedules a time to sit down and look at them all together, it was like we got to relive the day all over again. Paul was the photographer for our engagement session and wedding day, and he was highly professional for both! His work ethic during our engagement session was particularly impressive, as he had no qualms about wading into some thick brush at Goddard State Park in order to get the best shots. Also, he dealt with us being highly awkward when it came to being photographed, haha. Our shots came out great!
Before our wedding, we had a couple consultations with Paul about what we wanted on the big day. And when the day came, Paul and his second shooter, Laura, were everywhere we wanted them to be! They got great shots while we were each getting ready with the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and then during the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. Our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how good he was about getting all the photos they wanted.
Once the ceremony was over, Paul was able to get us some "sneak peek" images within 24 hours, which was really incredible on his part. Between his travel time and when our ceremony ended, it meant he was editing photos at 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. - one of the signs of his dedication to making his couples happy. We got all of our wedding photos, as well as a flash drive and an online gallery to share with family and friends, within a month of the ceremony date. All in all it was a great experience, and we would highly recommend Paul to any potential clients. -

I hired Paul with high expectations. I have been following his work for years, and he is a friend and a former colleague of mine. But I'm not writing this review simply because I know Paul, but because he truly went above and beyond my expectations, and that says a lot.
Perhaps my favorite thing about Paul's work is his unique talent for storytelling. I know Paul from my former work at a local newspaper, and his journalism experience carries over into his wedding photography. He doesn't deliver only the typical posed photos of any wedding photographer, but also will capture candid moments and raw emotions .
This was particularly important at my wedding because my parents couldn't attend in person due to the pandemic. (I'll also note that my original date was postponed, and Paul was incredibly understanding and easy to work with rescheduling.) So beyond a zoom video, my family was only able to experience the wedding through photos.
Paul captured the true essence of our day to a T and delivered a ton of photos (like seriously so many photos!) so that me, my husband, and our guests could relive that awesome day and evening, and my parents could get a feel for the day too.
During the wedding day and reception, Paul was incredibly professional and skilled. My guests couldn't stop talking about Paul -- he was a star the way he would angle himself to get the perfect shot. That being said, he never felt "intrusive" -- I never felt like the camera was "in my face" so to speak during our day.
Paul delivered our photos on a meticulously organized flash drive, and provided a collection online for social media sharing. To top it all off, he wrote a heartfelt blog post, which meant a lot.
If you're looking for someone who is professional, easy to work with, and delivers beautiful and emotion-packed wedding photos, I could not recommend Paul enough. -

Absolutely Amazing
Words can’t describe the amount of effort Paul put into getting such amazing photos. It seems like Paul was everywhere. Everytime I looked, Paul was there to take a memorable picture. At the same time, he blended in with the crowd and was unnoticeable. After working 9 hours straight, he went home on the night of my wedding and sent me sneak peeks in which blew my mind. The quality of photos and creativity was everything I ever hoped for. He went above and beyond any expectations I had for my wedding photographer. He made everything feel so natural and easy especially during such crazy times. By looking at his photos, you wouldn’t even be able to tell we were in the middle of a pandemic. My husband and I are recently married and like most couples we had to change all of our wedding plans due to COVID-19. Originally, we were scheduled to get married in October but due to the wedding venue restrictions we opted to do a more intimate ceremony at our home in August. We postponed everything for a later reception date, except our wedding photographer Paul, from Paul J. Spetrini Photography.
Paul was amazing! He showed up to our home an hour prior to the ceremony and was able to capture each of us getting ready with our respective families. I honestly didn’t even remember him taking those pictures, Paul interacted seamlessly with our families and blended right in. Between the nerves and excitement at times I didn’t even realize Paul was snapping pictures. Paul made every member of our family feel at ease and relaxed.
Paul was at our home for 2 hours and almost took 2,000 pictures! By the end of the evening we were surprised to see an email from Paul containing 12 pictures that were absolutely stunning from our special day. Paul told us that 3 weeks from our wedding we would have our pictures, and he definitely delivered. We can’t stop telling everyone about them. They are amazing and the way Paul can the emotions of the day in a picture are one of a kind. The coolest part is the cell phone App, which we have been sharing with our family and friends. We will gladly call Paul for all future events because not only did the quality of these pictures really captured our love and happiness that day, but by the end of the day Paul felt more like a family member than our photographer.

Where to begin? My sister initially recommended Paul as our wedding photographer years ago when I first got engaged because of his affordable pricing. We went with Paul because we liked his style of photography, and he is such a calming presence and a kind person. Then my wedding ended up being during COVID and I had a tiny backyard ceremony. Paul did an excellent job photographing that ceremony with very little to work with as far as backgrounds and scenery go. Of all the vendors I had to deal with during that very stressful time, he was the only vendor who was calm, kind and treated us as more than a paycheck. After that backyard ceremony, I still felt the need to get married in a church. Fast forward four years and we hired Paul again because we remembered what a great experience we had with him the first time. He makes the weeks leading up to the wedding day as stress-free as possible. When you’re contacting all your other vendors to make sure that they didn’t forget and they have everything and everything is all set – by all means, you need to contact him for your final phone call but he has it in the bag. And if you don’t contact him, he’ll contact you. (During my first wedding during COVID, he contacted me a couple weeks before the wedding to check in because he hadn’t heard from me yet.) He is on top of his stuff and you don’t need to worry about him forgetting how to do his job. He is such a kind, down-to-earth man and has a knack for getting amazing shots. He has a knack for knowing what will look good and do anything to get a good picture. When working with him, you can tell he really cares about capturing the day for you and he cares about his clients.
A week or two before the wedding, Paul had a phone call meeting with us where he asked us about the details of what we wanted day-of and what our schedule looked like. My husband and I aren’t event coordinators and aren’t great at planning these things so things we still weren’t sure about – especially timing – Paul knew what questions to ask and then gave really appropriate suggestions. He was seriously so helpful in the planning of our day and making sure it went smoothly. (We didn’t have a wedding coordinator, but Paul helped us figure out the timing of our day so that it went smoothly.) The day of my wedding this time, Paul reportedly showed up early (according to our Pastor – he showed up before either myself or my husband). I don’t know about anyone else but the day of my big wedding, I had no sense of time and was so overwhelmed with everything that I couldn’t remember my schedule or what I had told the vendors I wanted. While remaining calm the whole time, Paul did an excellent job of keeping my husband and I on track and on time. Without even asking, at natural times throughout the day (such as between photograph locations), he would let us know that we were still running on time and remind us of what we had said we wanted to do next.
In experiences with photographers at other people’s weddings, sometimes the photographers seem stressed or frustrated with the wedding party or family of the bride and groom when doing the formal, posed pictures. Paul, on the other hand, was calm and collected the whole time. I had four young children (ages 3-5) in my wedding party and he was great at staying calm, upbeat, patient and just going with the flow. I can’t say enough about how great he was working with the children. He got amazing pictures of the children – funny, beautiful and endearing. He even got pictures of all the children looking at the camera – which is a modern-day miracle with children this young. My Pastor also had high praise for Paul, saying that he was respectful, professional, great at communicating, and very well-prepared. She said that working with him was the best experience she’s ever had working with a wedding photographer.
After the wedding, Paul sent an email with an estimated time it would take to get our photographs and a link for us to check in if we ever wonder how far out he is on editing. It was so nice to be able to know when we’d see the pictures and be able to check in to see if the timetable was delayed or early. In my case, we got the photographs sooner than Paul has estimated and they came out great. First off, he took over 1,200 pictures and my wedding was only about 6 hours long. I got all the pictures in color, high-resolution but then he also did a black & white version of 80 of those pictures and made folders of “highlights” and “resized highlights”. You get printing rights to your photos and he sends them out on a USB. What I wasn’t expecting is that he sends them out in a nice DVD-type case (but for a USB) and the case is personalized with pictures from your wedding day, your names, and the location of the ceremony! On the USB, Paul creates different folders so it’s easy to find photos from different parts of the wedding day. He also includes a folder of the best photos from the day resized for easy sharing on social media.
My husband and I had so much fun reliving the day as we looked through the pictures. Paul captured absolutely everything! I couldn’t believe all the moments he captured that I had missed. Then there were moments he captured that we didn’t miss but also that we hadn’t realized he captured. He has a way of capturing all the details, all the important and mundane moments, everything – without even noticing that he’s there the whole time. He is so good at capturing candid moments and will do anything to get the perfect shot. In addition to the USB photos, Paul also writes a really touching photoblog and creates an online gallery for sharing with family and friends. I really can’t recommend him enough. He is a splendid human being and an amazing photographer. You can absolutely trust him to capture your day and never disappoint.
I’m sad I won’t be working with Paul again in the foreseeable future. He was such a wonderful person to work with. We appreciate his incredibly hard work and the multitude of pictures that he took. He did an amazing job and I really couldn’t have asked for anything more. -

Zero Stress Engagement and Wedding
If I could give Paul a 6 star rating I would. I could not have asked for a better person to capture our wedding day. Paul is so professional in all aspects of the job, he’s incredibly organized about every last detail, and most importantly- he is so personable! He really made us feel at ease in front of the camera. During our consultation he showed us tons of examples and different ways he captures weddings- each unique to the couple he’s photographing. For our engagement session and wedding, he did a great job getting down to business making sure we captured all the necessary shots, but he was also game for some impromptu shots as well. I especially loved the candid images he captured for our wedding, where you can see our true emotions during such an amazing day. Paul went above and beyond the day of our wedding and we have the photos to prove it. Every shot was better than the last! We are so happy we chose Paul as our photographer. Incredible Talent and Organization to capture the day!
Our experience with Paul J. Spetrini Photography was marvelous from beginning to end. Paul brought together an incredible talent for capturing the story of our wedding day with first rate organization and professionalism. His attention to detail and expertise actually set a tone that was instrumental in so many aspects of our wedding; from the planning with timelines and in depth thought to what we want to highlight in the day, to making sure we were both relaxed to best reflect our emotions and joy while making sure we take in those special moments he was capturing for us. The great experience didn’t end with the wedding day as he took the time to walk us through the creation of our album, and share in detail the best shots of our wedding.
When we first began to look for a photographer we knew it was an important aspect, but we basically were just hoping to find a photographer whose style appealed to us and would capture the story of our wedding. Paul immediately stood out to us at a bridal show through the appeal of his photos and his genuine friendly personality. The initial consultation was something that was a pleasant surprise. Paul was both friendly and incredibly organized taking little notes and asking great questions that helped us define what would be most important to us. He walked through the details of the work he will put into our wedding while making notes on our plans for the wedding day and what has led up to it. We did not realize how important those details would be until we saw the finished product.
Paul was able to identify what would be most important for us and build a package and timeline that would best suit our needs and deliver the best result. Not only did we come away from the consultation confident we had the right photographer, we were also more at ease in the wedding planning process. Paul’s organization and well thought out timelines were instrumental to having our entire wedding go off so well. It was so easy to be able to plan other vendors and aspects of the ceremony and reception from the timeline Paul has built to capture the moments that would be the most important to us.
Paul surpassed our hopes for the wedding itself. We could not believe how hard working he was through the entire day. The planning and details that started with the initial consultation played out perfectly during the wedding as we never felt rushed, or that his presence interfered with the day. The exact opposite was true; his professionalism and charm helped make the most of the day, and in turn the most of the shots that he captured. There were even times for both of us where he made sure we took in what was happening around us and reflect on what it meant to us. He worked exceptionally well with everyone involved; from hotel staff, to the church, the reception staff, our families and guests , and even the second photographer that he brought in as part of our package needs. He not only worked well with everyone but he was always actively looking for opinions and cooperation with all of them. We feel this was a major factor in why we were so impressed with all the pictures he took.
Paul J. Spetrini Photography exceeded every expectation we had, delivered on the timetables that were promised, and provided us with an incredible way to relive so much of our wedding day. We really feel Paul delivered incredible value for the package we purchased. The single aspect we think most reflects this is the blog on his webpage. It’s not just some examples of the best shots from our wedding, it is a detailed look into our wedding day, with a narrative that shows the passion and enjoyment Paul has for the people that make up the wedding he is documenting. From the moment I met Paul, I could tell that he possessed the most important quality you look for in a photographer: passion.
My husband and I had a longer engagement, just about two years, and we met with Paul pretty early on. It was at that first meeting over a casual cup of coffee that Paul had said a few things to me that alerted my intuition that this was the photographer for us. First and foremost, Paul is exceptionally easy going. He tells you how it is, and there absolutely no pressure. He got into this business to give couples a chance at getting absolutely stunning photography for a reasonable rate. I thought his photography was beautiful, I thought his price packages were on point– but it wasn’t until Paul gave me some wedding advice (the take it or leave it kind, whether we worked with him or not) that I realized he is a seasoned professional who will take care of us – I knew that then and I know that now, a few months after my wedding.
Paul is attentive, responsive, and excellent at communicating. He was always exceptionally quick with answering any of my (million) questions. We chose to do our engagement shoot on what turned out to be one of the coldest days that fall at Roger Williams park in RI. Paul could sense we were a little nervous, we had never done anything like a photoshoot before. He was explicit and kind with his instructions – explaining all the while why he was asking us to move in a certain way, or hold our heads at a certain angle – Paul can see the shot before it happens, and he knows exactly how to manipulate your surroundings and how to hold yourself to get the most breathtaking pictures. Whether is he is sprawled out on the ground, or directing you 100 feet away across a pond, Paul is absolutely willing to go to the distance (both literally and figuratively) to get that special shot of the day. After we received our engagement photos, I was absolutely floored. I already felt very comfortable with Paul and knew we would get very pretty photos, but when I saw how intricately beautiful these photos were, I started to get really really EXCITED about the wedding photography – I mean, I truly felt like skies the limit with Paul – and I’m so happy to say when our wedding day came around – Paul smashed those already insanely high expectations way out of the park.
My wedding day, is a blur.
I can tell you, I’m the kind of person that is always on time. In fact, I’m early to just about everything. So when my wedding party and I started to get really down to the wire when we were getting ready – I started to get nervous. I was nervous we would be late, and my mind was all over the place, making sure my bridesmaids had what they needed, my mother had what she needed. I had one friend doing my hair, the other working on my eyelashes, another one getting me into my dress – it was a bit chaotic. I didn’t know it at the time, but Paul was the person I needed in that moment to cut through the chaos and help lead the way. He cleared the room of almost everyone, and for the first time I saw myself in the mirror. I almost didn’t recognize myself, I was truly a bride. I was a bit taken a back, and started to get a little emotional. Paul told me to look in the mirror, close my eyes and take a deep breathe. In the chaos happening all around me, he quieted things down and let me actually take a moment for myself, to realize what I was about to do, and marry the love of my life. I will forever be thankful for Paul for making it possible for me to take that moment for myself. I’ll never forget it.
The rest of the day was incredible, and Paul captured every moment so beautifully. He went so far above and beyond for me and my new family. He was just as attentive and communicative with me post wedding as he was pre-wedding. Our pictures arrived exactly when he said they would. He was thorough, gracious, and kind. When we began planning our wedding, we knew that choosing a photographer was going to be one of the most important decisions that we made. We wanted someone who would tell our story through pictures, and to help us capture every moment of our big day. We got all of this and more from Paul. He was personable, perceptive and engaging, and we are still hearing from our guests that they were amazed at how he seemed to be everywhere at every moment of the day, capturing every detail. He was a huge help in planning the timeline of our day, and was incredibly knowledgeable about what to expect at different moments. Our favorite part was the fact that he made sure to give my husband and I a few minutes to be together and reflect on our day and and our journey together. These few minutes became some of our most cherished moments of the day, thanks to Paul!

Paul went above & beyond, we are so pleased with our engagement & wedding photos. As a bride who suffered the unexpected loss of her father just 3 weeks before the wedding, Paul’s care & compassion truly helped me throughout the day and the days leading up. Our entire photographing planning portion of the wedding process was easy and that is priceless. Paul is professional, passionate & made us feel like we were the only couple he was working with. His timeline direction was essential in an already hectic day running smoothly. He captured everything & more, which I already knew from witnessing him up high and down low during the big day but quickly re-discovered when he met with us to present the wedding photos, so many great angles. He knew exactly where to be & without ever being in the way. He arrived early & left later than expected, truly ensuring our expectations were met – and they were exceeded! We had the pleasure of working with his second photographer Danielle, who was a great addition. I’m especially thankful for the quiet moment to myself that Paul captured... Simply, he's the best!
We can’t say enough good things about Paul! Paul was great to work with and is extremely talented. He is also very professional and simply just knows what he’s doing. From the moment I met Paul, I knew he was the photographer for me. He shared my vision like it was his own. He took time to get to know me and my fiancé. He was invested in our love story and his photos were lovely.
In preparation for the big day, we sat down with Paul to discuss the timeline and pictures we wanted. I had no idea what to expect and Paul helped us develop a timeline and sequence of events for the wedding day. I was so thankful for this discussion and it really put my mind at ease. Paul knew when everything should take place, roughly how long each section of the day should be, and kept everyone on schedule to the best of his ability on the day of (despite how difficult that was).
On the day of the wedding, Paul was simply amazing. He was great during bridal prep and knew what to say, where to be, and how to deal with various situations. He made me feel relaxed among the normal chaos and gracefully guided my throughout the day and night. My guests also commented on Paul’s professionalism and photography style. No one felt like he was intrusive when taking pictures and loved that he wasn’t afraid to lay on the floor for the best angle. We were lucky in having beautiful fall foliage on our wedding day. Paul was not shy in having us take a longer pose to get the best shot, or come down to the pond area for more formals. He was great and trekked all around the venue grounds with us, which I'm sure was exhausting.
When we finally sat down with Paul to look at our wedding pictures, it was no shock to me that they were stunning. We had the privilege of having his second photographer Becky and her pictures were just as beautiful and displayed great talent. We were very fortunate to have Paul and Becky photograph our wedding day. Thank you Paul for capturing everything so beautifully!

Where do I begin. I initially heard of Paul because my cousins husband was our DJ and really enjoys working with him at weddings. We needed a photographer and decided if Steve thinks he is good we have to meet with him. So he gave Paul my information and I received Paul’s as well. We ended up emailing and set up a meeting for my husband and I to meet with him at Starbucks. I can honestly say we met with one photographer and that was Paul. After meeting him we knew we wanted him to be our photographer right away.My husband and I are both very laid back and happy people, and we could see that Paul was very similar to us but also very professional at the same time. Fast forward to our engagement shoot. At that shoot I was so happy because he just has the best ideas, but is also very considerate of yours and will literally do anything to make sure your vision come to life. This man would literally be on the ground just to get a good angle! He also just made us feel so comfortable and made it all feel so natural so I knew if he can make me feel that way at our engagement shoot the wedding was going to be even better. The week of the wedding I was getting very stressed with all of the details and Paul was there for me every step of the way. He made us a detailed timeline and anytime he could see me stress the day of the wedding he would calm me down. One thing Paul did that I will always appreciate was tell me to look at myself in the mirror and to just take a second. He told me to forget about everything around me and to just remember why I was there. To remember how hard my husband and I worked to make it all possible. Then he had me close my eyes and take a deep breath. Although it sounds like such a small detail it really was what I needed and helped me so much! Bottom line Paul isn’t only a great person, but he is an amazing photographer who genuinely cares about his clients. He is affordable, professional and he is now my photographer for life! The best choice for any couple
From the moment we saw his work at one of the many expos we went to, we loved Paul's style and his down to earth personality. Not only is he reasonable, you can tell he loves this line of work. We're pretty far from the "traditional" couple, but Paul was beyond open minded and excited to be a part of our special day. His candid photo style is one of the things we appreciated the most; we got to enjoy our big day surrounded by so many people we love without having his camera right in our faces. Looking at all the moments he captured is insane and we will be able to reminisce for the rest of our lives. He was even able to calm my bride down when I was running a tad bit late to the venue (mind you, that's not the easiest thing to do lol). Many of our guests complimented on how great he was too, catching the perfect moments. He even edited some photos the night of the wedding for us to look through!! We got tons of edited photos neatly organized on a USB that were easily navigated and on top of that within a month of our wedding in a busy fall wedding season. Bottom line: He's quirky, sticks with his deadlines, and he will literally roll in the dirt to get the perfect shot for you! -

From the moment we met Paul, we knew he was a total shoo-in for our photographer. He was easy-going and personable, but very attentive to details and our needs. Leading up to the wedding, we felt we could reach out with questions at any time and have a very prompt response. On top of that, we planned this all remotely from across the country! Paul took the time to get to know us a little bit before the wedding to ensure he was telling our story well. On the actual day, he was prompt, efficient, and respectful, and he never felt like an intrusive presence. He also wrote a lovely blog post about the wedding to document his photos. Truthfully, I don't know where to begin on this review because these are exactly what made all my vendor decisions. So I will start off with the fact that Paul was the best decision on a photographer hands down. If someone asked me to go back and re-do it, Paul would be my fist vendor booked easily.
He's affordable, personable, fun, professional, and his passion for photography was the major part that sold my husband and I on booking him. We received our wedding photos last weekend, less than a month after our wedding - that was HUGE for any photographer, especially with the amount of weddings he had in between, but he understands that you want to re-live your day. We hired Paul for a full day, along with a second photographer (through Paul) which we were so happy we did because we got such amazing photos from her as well, but honestly with what we received on Paul’s end we really didn't even need to put another photographer on. I feel like usually comments are always based on food when you talk to guests after a wedding but Paul was certainly the talk from all our guests. "He was on the ground at one point" is what everyone commented on and let me tell you you can tell which photos he was on the ground for! The wedding party and our guests are a very rowdy group and Paul went with it so smoothly, with such ease and ideas to create all personalities in our photos. I really thought having a photographer with me all day would make me feel awkward and less natural but that was not the case whatsoever and I can say with confidence that's because of Paul.
This is your big day and your vendors are the one who make it what it is, Paul is certainly one to make your day memorable during and after. I have looked at my photos every day since I've received them and I feel as if I'm living every single second over again - even parts I wasn't there for. Overall, I could not be happier to have went with Paul! -

Magical Day
When people ask me if I would change anything about my wedding day I simply say, “NO” our special day was all I could have wished and hoped for and Paul helped to make it so. I hail from a boisterous southern family and Paul just helped so wonderfully with them as well as my husbands family. I knew that Paul was the photographer for us, when he asked me to share my story and he shared his. In a day and time when service can sometimes feel non connected, I felt connected right from the very beginning at our meeting in Starbucks. Paul really took the time to listen and be thoughtful of my wishes as a bride to have a relaxed and easygoing day. I also wanted a photographer who could photograph a mixed raced couple. On the day of our wedding Paul was just where he needed to be and took the best care of us without being intrusive or overstepping bounds, but was willing and able if we needed him to, to especially get the photos we truly wanted. I have since had the opportunity to look at the pictures from our wedding and I can’t stop gushing and smiling. I loved them so much that I used one as the backdrop for our thank you cards. For anyone e who knows me I completely and totally avoid the camera and being in pictures, yet I share the photos from our wedding day freely. I have never felt so amazingly beautiful and Paul captured me in a way that I’m truly proud of. If you have the chance to work with Paul you will be lucky and glad you did. -

From the moment we met Paul, we knew he was the man for the job - and boy were we not disappointed! Every aspect of his work was truly top notch and professional. He was organized, informed, empathetic, and asked the right questions. He knew where to be and when. The entire experience made my wife and I feel calm and comfortable as we navigated the most stressful of all days. This is an invaluable trait to have as a photographer, vendor, or professional. And then came the photos themselves! WOW is the only word to describe it. He and his partner Stacey did amazing work with our formal posed pictures - the standard benchmark for a wedding photographer. But, it was the work they did with the candids that makes hiring Paul Spetrini Photography a no brainer decision!! A wedding's tone and color can be described by the feelings and energy of all of the guests and he captured the ESSENCE of those feelings from every guest in attendance. I still don't know how he was in position to take some of the shots he got.
Paul is an excellent writer as well. Part of your package includes a custom photo blog that details the entire day. Paul went above and beyond all expectations we had for our wedding day. After our initial meeting, we knew we were in for a treat after going over our vision and goals for our day. We knew we had a very unique wedding in that we were not following all traditional wedding standards. My husband and I are both musicians and planned a unique celebration of our love with a non-traditional "first duet" in place of our first dance, and a performance with our band by the end of the night. Paul is an extremely honest and organized professional and from the first sit down, we knew we were in great hands as he effortlessly went through the options we had from soup to nuts. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a wedding photographer and married man himself. He knew exactly how to manage the day while not only capturing our day from bridal prep to reception but keeping me on track with our timeline and making sure I ate! He blended so effortlessly into the background where he was never intrusive, but always attentive to every special moment that occurred.
What we loved about Paul’s work was his ability to capture moments we weren’t even aware were occurring. Not only does he cover your standard bases; formal shots, ceremony, wedding detail shots such as the rings, desserts, bouquets, head pieces etc., he is a master at capturing candid’s. Our favorite photos from the day were the shots he somehow bent over backward [literally at times] to capture. His secondary photographer Stacy was also a delight and we knew every aspect of our day would be taken care of and we were NOT disappointed. The teasers he posts the night of are always on POINT and leave you salivating for the rest! Our friends and family were all blown away by his abilities and professionalism.
Additionally, I feel it is important to note that not only was he a rock star on the day of our wedding, he presents a completed package to you after the day in an organized manner that completely blew us away. He has above standard turnaround with a presentation that far exceeded anything we anticipated. Our photos were given to us in such an organized manner and easy to find, and he reviews IN DEPTH, each aspect of the package you receive. I would recommend his services a hundred times over to anyone looking for a professional quality photographer with pricing you cannot beat. Sometimes, parts of planning for a wedding seem to be fate… and meeting Paul… was just that fate. Knowing that we wanted a small, intimate wedding was where we started and capturing that day in a way that would tell our story for years to come was where we wanted to be.
Like all good brides to be I had been doing my research online, never really finding what I was looking for in a photographer, but realizing what I did not. That said, by chance we stopped by a bridal fair. After all, it had been at a girl scout camp ground - that was worth checking out for the family!
There were many booths with lots to see, but much of what I was seeing was what I had seen online. I was drawn to a table with photos that I was truly impressed with. The photos had clarity, great angles of shots, and just absolutely everything I was looking for!! As I started to look through the photo books available I realized that I had separated from my family. Within moments I discovered that my family was chatting with Paul, and he was the owner of these amazing photos. I joined my family for a group conversation with Paul, and not only were his photo’s exactly what I was looking for, but so was his personal style. He was inviting, approachable, and knowledgeable. Everything that matched the intimate wedding that we had in mind.
Working along with Paul made our special day organized, he was professional and helped us fill in the gaps on what to do next. He had lots of great ideas and welcomed all of ours as well. I always felt like I could run anything by Paul, from ideas for photos to locations of shots. I felt that he truly had our best interest in mind, and wanted us to have the best experience possible. During the ceremony, no one noticed him, yet the images he created and captured reflected every moment with perfect clarity. Paul integrated seamlessly during the reception, and all of our guests commented on his wonderful accommodating demeanor.
We have had so many wonderful comments on our photos. Paul is truly talented as he brings his enthusiasm to life his work. We were so very happy to have him join us in capturing our special day.

When it came time to search for a wedding photographer, naturally I asked those I knew who had just gotten married. I went and searched some photographers to check out their work and no one really caught my eye. I came across Paul’s work and I knew that we had to meet. Hiring Paul to photograph our wedding was hands down the best and easiest decision we made. My husband and I were worried we would look awkward in our engagement photos but Paul made the whole experience so relaxing! From us munching on pizza in between shots, to him making us laugh at shirtless people jogging behind us as we set up for a photo, Paul was the best!
When the big day finally came Paul again helped me keep calm. He was there right on time and was none stop until the end of the night. Throughout the whole night Paul kept us informed on the time and kept updating us with what we still had to do. He played a big part in the night running as smooth as it did. After everything was said and done we received our photos much sooner than we thought we would have! He gave us just over 2100 photos of our day from start to finish! We absolutely loved going through each and every one of them, and reliving the night! The time and effort Paul put into our day and editing our photos is clearly shown through his work!
Even though our day has come and gone, we’re still in contact with Paul as we are having an album made. We can’t thank him enough for the amazing job he did with our photos, and I know our album is going to come out just as beautiful! If you are looking for a down to earth, reasonable, and overall awesome photographer, then look no further because Paul is your guy! Let me start by saying every part of working with Paul was great! We found Paul through a friend who had recently posted pictures he had taken at her wedding. She had nothing but positive things to say about Paul so we reached out to him and it was the best decision.
During our initial meeting we could tell Paul was a gifted photographer. His portfolio was filled with beautiful pictures and his style was creative. We knew we wanted him to be our photographer right away but we were working with a very tight budget. Paul was kind as he talked through it with us and made a package that fit our needs at a price we could afford.
Prior to our wedding day he spent time going over our plan for the big day and wanted to know what was most important to us, making sure we could get the most out of our limited time together.
On our wedding day, Paul continued to impress us. He dealt with cold winds as we did our formal pictures by the water in mid-December. He laid on the cold, wet ground to get a beautiful shot of us. Not only was he a great photographer, he was a lovely person. Paul was gracious when working around a family member who continuously stood in the way with a cellphone and took pictures of guests, both candid and posed if they requested. My favorite set were all the great angles and shots of the first and parent dances that are already hanging on my wall.
After the big day, Paul had our pictures back to us within the time frame we had discussed. We met and he gave us a look at the beautiful work he had done and gave us an opportunity to make any special editing requests or ask any questions we may have.
From start to finish, Paul was a great person to work with. Although we had limited time, he produced a set of pictures that felt as if he had been at our wedding the whole night through. I do recommend booking him for as much as time as fits your budget, I can only imagine what beautiful shots of prep time and dancing he would’ve gotten had we had him around for longer. -

Best wedding photographer ever!
Hiring Paul as our wedding photographer was one of the first things we were able to check off our wedding to-do list! Paul is a good friend of my husband’s from college, and initially when he said “my friend from college does wedding photography!” I have to admit I had my doubts. Before he had mentioned him, I had been looking into photographers and had found some with great reviews and Paul wasn’t even on my radar- then I saw the $4,000 price tag of those other photographers and said uh, no. I hadn’t researched Paul at all and hadn’t really looked at any of his photos or reviews before we met with him the first time. I was BLOWN AWAY with his work and wanted to sign the contract on the spot! He told us to think about it and look at the website etc. first and he didn’t just want us to go with him because he was a friend of Rich’s.
Paul made us feel incredibly comfortable during the engagement photo shoot and was so flexible and was totally fine with moving the weekend so many times! We kept trying to hold out for snow to have engagement photos in the snow, and we were finally able to get at least some snow in the photos. Rich and I are an outdoorsy couple who love to hike, and Paul was such a trooper and let us drag him all over World’s End State Park in Hingham, MA in 30 degree weather. Come wedding day at the end of October, it was cold, drizzly and muddy. Our photos are AMAZING and Paul went above and beyond when he let me drag him, the groom and two bridesmaids to a swing that I HAD to swing on. He got down on the cold, muddy ground and had Rich push me in the swing towards him at the danger of him getting kicked in the face to get the perfect shot. During the reception, I was worried about how dark it was and Paul told me at the end that it was one of the darkest wedding receptions he’d ever shot but he was still able to make it work and again, the photos came out AMAZING.
I could go on and on about the whole day, Paul was spectacular. He made everyone feel incredibly comfortable, and the photos turned out spectacular. I would recommend him to anyone and do anytime anyone asks. Thank you so much Paul!

After reading countless reviews and researching many photographers, there was only one that stood out from the rest, Paul Spetrini. Besides his stellar reviews, his website was by far the most polished and professional we had seen. Not only was the website aesthetically pleasing, it gave the exact info we were looking for without setting up a meeting first (as many other photographers require you to do). Paul has his pricing, packages, and availability all easily accessible. As if the website design (and beautiful photos) weren’t enough, we were entirely reassured when we read his bio being an award-winning photographer employed by a couple local newspapers. This gave us the final legitimacy that Paul was no amateur.
We reached out to Paul and he responded almost immediately with dates and times we could meet. Paul is incredibly down to earth and friendly. We already knew his work was good from his website, but his presentation was flawless, and we left knowing that this was the photographer for us. We booked Paul and soon enough had our engagement photo session with him at Roger Williams Park. A photoshoot can be an extremely awkward and uncomfortable experience (especially in public!). However, Paul was able to calm us down right away and our fun and excitement clearly shone through to the beautiful pictures that were taken. Despite a hot day, we had a blast!
Though the engagement session was amazing, everyone knows it’s the wedding day when you have to step your game up and Paul hit a grand slam! Prior to the wedding, there was an untimely injury at the bachelor party, that had the soon to be groom in a cane and knee brace. Paul adapted seamlessly to this late bombshell! With Paul’s guidance, we were able to adjust the timeline and photoshoot locations to more easily accommodate the injury. Paul (along with his second shooter Stacy) both hustled all day long and their energy level never wavered. They both made sure that the cane was out of every picture that was taken. Paul and Stacy were very creative with their setups and ideas, but also took plenty of candids that revealed the fun and party atmosphere that we all enjoyed!
Needless to say, we were speechless when Paul met with us to go through the edited photos and his personal favorites in the “Highlights” folder. We relived the wedding all over again. From the silly wedding party entrances and heartfelt first dances to the electric and crazy dance floor, it was a night we won’t soon forget thanks to Paul.
Paul Spetrini strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and comfortability. We highly recommend Paul to photograph your wedding experience! -

Choosing your vendors can be so stressful, and sometimes full of risk. Hiring Paul as our photographer was one of the BEST decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. When you first meet Paul, you can see that he is clearly a very talented photographer. You can tell by chatting with him during your first meeting that he has such a passion for wedding photography. But, what you don't know yet is that he is so much more than just your photographer.. Paul was the best wing man I could have asked for on my wedding day. Hands down the best thing that happened to us while planning our wedding was finding Paul. As soon as we met him we breathed a sigh of relief. We had many reservations about professional photos because we had already done an engagement session elsewhere, which was a bit of a nightmare. The photos were overly posed, the use of props was egregious, and the final images left a lot to be desired. Paul took the time to get to know us and understand our personalities, so by the time we had our engagement shoot with him, we were comfortable together and we knew how to communicate with each other. The session was full of genuine smiles and laughter as Paul captured us naturally, happily including our dog in photos as well as our parents (who had come along as puppy wranglers). When we got our images back, we were blown away by the quality and by how well they demonstrated our personalities.
We eagerly anticipated our wedding, which Paul would be attending with us in Florida. Yes, we love him so much that we flew him to FL for a couple days so he could shoot our ceremony. It was worth every penny and there is no one else we could have imagined having by our sides on our special day. In the time leading up to the wedding, Paul was always available to answer any questions we had and helped us plan and create timelines for both our ceremony (in FL) and our reception (in MA). Paul's laid back personality helped calm my anxiety, especially the day of the ceremony when I was just a mess of emotions. At our ceremony Paul was everywhere…he did not miss a single shot. We didn't have a lot of requests, choosing instead to trust his eye and believe me, we made the right decision. He worked seamlessly with our videographer to ensure they both got the best coverage of the day and was nothing but enthusiastic as we dragged him halfway around Disney in 90 degree heat for our formals.
At our reception back home a couple weeks later, Paul was joined by his associate photographer, Stacey. We had a lot of moving parts that day and we wanted to make sure we got it all covered. From a Zumba flash mob, to my husband getting kidnapped by Darth Vader, to laser tag, the whole day was organized chaos. Paul and Stacey exceeded all expectations, working beautifully with our day-of coordinator to ensure we stayed on time and making sure everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. Our families adored both of them, and it was noted that they seemed to be enjoying the day as much as we were. We had left a couple of camcorders out for guests to use, and at times I saw Paul with his camera in one hand and a camcorder in the other…we later found out that he had been "interviewing" guests and creating a sort of virtual guest book for us since a lot of people had overlooked signing our actual guest book. This sort of above-and-beyond thinking is standard of Paul. He does everything in his power to make his sure his couples are happy and have a perfect experience on their special day. At the very end of the day when everything was winding down, Paul took me and my husband aside, told us about his impromptu undertaking, and asked us to say a few words as well, both to our guests as a thank you and to each other, for our future selves. We were so touched by the gesture that even my husband got teary-eyed, and he's not a crier.
We got our photos back about a month after our reception, and it was almost as fun to relive the events as it was to experience them firsthand. Paul's dedication to telling a story through his photos is evident and even a complete stranger looking at our photos would have felt immersed in the day. There were photos so beautiful we didn't recognize ourselves; photos that perfectly showcased our personalities; photos bursting with the love and emotion of us and our families; and photos so crazy that we belly-laughed out loud.
Paul's rates are extraordinarily reasonable and his packages are fully customizable, so you can get the gorgeous photos you want without breaking your budget. We wholeheartedly recommend Paul to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer (or a badass karaoke singer, but that's another review!). When Adam and I started planning our wedding we knew that there were a few things that were incredibly important to us. We wanted to ensure that our day embodied everything that stood for us- our personalities, our friendships, our love for each other, great food, good music and lots of fun. For me it was even more important to have a qualified individual capture all of this- from those moments where you can find us alone smiling at each other, the random smiles that would cross our guests face, or even the crazy group shots that included my husband piggyback on one of our groomsmen- all were equally important. We only had a few hours of the night to experience but so much happens during that time and we needed someone that we could trust who would be able to retell our story for us. We found that in Paul. We found Paul by chance through Facebook and we are glad that we did. Even at our first meeting he made us feel important and gave us plenty of options as well as time to sit down and discuss amongst ourselves if he was a good fit. Throughout the planning process Paul was easy to communicate with and readily available to offer advice and his responses to emails were quick and thorough. Paul worked with our wedding coordinator to ensure that our day went smoothly and everything ran on time. I was even ready and waiting to get into my dress early- which, if anyone knows me is insane because I am always late. His attention to detail was perfect- making sure he obtained the right shots and finished our list of formals. Once the formalities ended and the reception started he blended right in and most of the time you wouldn’t even know he was there- but I ensure you, he was. He was there capturing everything. Then as if his day wasn’t long enough he went home and worked on some sneak peaks which he sent over shortly before we went to bed. Does this guy ever sleep? I think what really makes Paul special is that he cares for his clients- when he is with you and documenting your day- you are all that matters. At the end of the day or even night you can tell if someone just enjoys taking pictures OR if someone is passionate about capturing memories. Paul is passionate and I am glad we trusted him with our memories! Paul, we cannot thank you enough for your beautiful work. We will have these photos to look back on for many years and we are beyond grateful.

Hiring Paul to be our wedding photographer was one of the best & easiest decisions my husband & I had made during our wedding planning process. Everyone knows how stressful picking your vendors can be, especially finding someone within your budget & pictures were in the top 3 of most important to me. Finding a phenomenal wedding photographer that fit our budget was starting to feel like trying to find a needle in a haystack that was until we met with Paul. After stalking his business page & Facebook and viewing his work I knew he was the guy to hire, I specifically fell in love with his candids - The quality in his pictures just speak for themselves. He is amazing at what he does, he captured the true emotion in every single picture come our wedding day and you can honestly tell he loves doing it! He is so much more than a photographer too,
A week before the wedding day we had a phone conference to go over the timeline of the day and was very impressed with his recommendations as far as things to have on hand & what to expect come the day of the wedding. As soon as he stepped foot into my Mom's house during bridal prep (even after a 3 wedding weekend) his energy took over the room. He took complete control of the day and made sure I had received every photo I requested (& let me tell you there were a lot of them!) & then some! Any time I wanted a picture taken at my reception with friends or family he was right there to capture it. My wedding guests couldn't stop commenting on how above & beyond he went for pictures; standing on chairs, laying on the floor, getting into weird & uncomfortable positions on the dock outside our venue to get the sunset pictures just right and the second photographer we hired, Stacy was just as wonderful in helping Paul capture the beauty of the day! Once the pictures were delivered & I was able to share them to social media the notifications were non stop.. Everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say! Thank you so much Paul & Stacey for making our day perfect and capturing the beautiful moments that help us reminisce our wedding day like it was yesterday! -
Justine Sent on 10/08/2018I cannot say enough about Paul. He didn’t stop from the moment he arrived at bridal prep until he (literally) sat on the floor after the final song was played. He somehow managed to be everywhere he needed to be all at once; every time I looked he was capturing photos of our friends and families. He managed to take all of our formal photos, along with his assistant Mike, in a limited time frame due to the sunset. AND he provided a sneak peek for us by the time we got back to our hotel. I can’t wait to see everything!
