We were looking for pastor to marry us, we. He med out many and pastor Steve stood out to us, we messaged back and forward and then we met up, so thankful that we used him he exactly what we were wanting. So thankful and blessed that he done our wedding.

Wonderful Officiant

Steve did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. Our original officiant had to step down last minute (due to COVID-19) the DAY BEFORE our wedding. I called Steve 2 hours before our rehearsal started, and he graciously agreed to officiate our wedding. He even came to our rehearsal with an hour and a half notice. We are so grateful to Steve for stepping in to officiate our wedding. He went above and beyond to ensure that we felt happy with our ceremony. We got several comments about how well the ceremony part of our wedding went. I would recommend Steve to any of my family and friends getting married.

He wasn't able to marry us his father-in-law did but his is a good man I would say other people should use him he had a family emergency but he had it covered I am so very happy with him I had the best wedding I would like to thank him for what he did I am beyond happy

Steve did such an amazing job with our wedding, and he was so pleasant to work with! He was always available to answer questions, and he took the time to sit down with us and make sure we were all on the same page regarding the ceremony and our vows. At the reception, my friends and family all commented on how impressed they were with him. I absolutely recommend him!

Steve was an absolutely wonderful officiant. We enjoyed everything about our decision to hire him. He offered us premarital counseling which we enjoyed and looked forward to. He was also extremely flexible and enthusiastic about delivering the kind of ceremony that was just right for us. Aside from being a talented pastor, Steve is the kind of person who it is a genuine pleasure to get to know. We would recommend him to any and all of our friends and family.

Pastor Steve was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding day. He was very easy to get along with, very kind, and very funny.

We had him for both a rehearsal, and our wedding ceremony. He was so helpful on the wedding rehearsal and knew just what to do. On our wedding day, everything went off without a hitch. Our vows personalized by Steve, were so touching and so meaningful. Our ceremony was so special that day, it could not have been any more perfect. Thank you so much for everything Steve!!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Steve! We planned our wedding in four months and had to pull all of the pieces together very quickly. After an unpleasant meeting with a different Pastor, we were so happy to find someone that could deliver a ceremony that catered to our beliefs and values while still making it unique for us. Steve responded and met with us in a timely manner, and was right within our budget as recent college grads. We went for it and our ceremony was everything we wanted. He had great communication so we never had any stress about the ceremony or paperwork. We are so thankful that we found him and it worked out!

Steve is the absolute best! He married my husband and I on July 29th and it was the ceremony we always dreamed of! He is always prompt with his responses, is willing to customize your ceremony however you'd like, takes care of making sure the marriage license is signed/mailed AND is extremely professional and personal! I also work at a wedding venue in the Tulsa area and can honestly say Steve is the best there is! Would recommend him to anyone :)

Steve was AWESOME. Seriously, book with him. He was responsive to all of my emails and questions, was very friendly, and willing to customize the ceremony to what we desired. He suggested signing our marriage license during the ceremony as something different, and I LOVED that idea. The actual ceremony performed was beautiful and I loved the passages included. My mom had several friends asking her who the officiant was, for his contact information, where we found him, and if he had his own church. That's how much everyone loved him! Thank you Steve for being so awesome! He also mailed our marriage license for us, which I assume he did really quickly because it was waiting in my mailbox when I got back from our honeymoon! Our ceremony was by far the best part of the wedding, and Mr. Steve Rhoads is the reason for that! On top of all of that, he is affordable! Thank you again!

Steve Rhoads is the best. Great communication, really helpful, super flexible, always on time (or early), he also has got great ideas and a great draft ceremony you can change around as much as you want - great for those who want help (we added in a prayer and a reading and took out a few pieces), but I am sure you could also write your own completely. He is laid back but completely professional. During the ceremony he speaks at a good pace and really clearly. He is great value also. Steve even posted the marriage license for us following the ceremony. I would really recommend him to anybody. He also has a really great reputation with other wedding vendors that we worked with who already knew him.

We never settled into a church after moving, so we were in a panic about who would officiate our wedding. After a couple of Google searches and recommendations from friends, we found out about Pastor Rhoads. His communication was excellent, and we loved him off the bat. At the wedding, he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and see if there was anything he could do, even after the ceremony was over. He made us feel like we had known him for years. I couldn't think of anyone better!

Mr. Rhoads was referred to us by TWO other vendors - and it is easy to see why ! He was extremely accommodating and I could not have asked for a better ceremony. He provided us with a copy of his words prior to the ceremony and was quick to make any adjustments we asked for, making sure the ceremony was perfect for us. He was extremely professional and yet very personable at the same time. I would absolutely recommend his services as a wedding officiant !

Steve was the perfect professional officiant for our wedding. Your ceremony is one of the biggest (in our case, the most important) parts of your wedding and who you hire has alot to do with how it turns out. Steve was the best! We had a special Irish WeddingWedding and his wording was amazing and the hand fasting that he did was fantastic! Everyone loved it and loved his voice. Very prompt on responses, meetings, and time! Was so extremely kind! Highly recommend him for any special occassion!

Steve did a wonderful job for us. We were looking for something simple but meaningful and non-denominational. When we reached out to Steve on short notice we were so happy he was available. Steve met with us beforehand to go through the ceremony and invited us to edit it in any way if we felt we needed to. He kept in touch throughout the whole process and carefully went through everything with us during the rehearsal so we wouldn't be nervous. We had a small, intimate wedding and Steve was perfect. Friendly, on time, and professional.

Pastor Rhoads was so amazing!! First we LOVED the wording he used for our ceremony. It is not your traditional vows but still has all the tradition in it. He used more modern wording which really fit our ceremony. He is so down to earth and we realized he was perfect for our wedding on our first meeting!! I planned everything myself for our wedding and on our rehearsal day, I was a little lost on how everything should go, but Pastor Rhoads jumped right in and helped us figure out how everything needed to go!! He was so amazing!! He even made sure to match his tie to our colors. I received many compliments on the ceremony and how much everyone loved Pastor Rhoads! I would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone!!

Our venue recommended Pastor Rhoads on their website, and we were very happy with him! He gave a beautiful ceremony and incorporated the Bible scriptures that I wanted. He was very patient that day and showed us where to go/what to do. When our sand ceremony hit a snag - the sand got everywhere and the frame that was holding it started leaking - he just made a joke about it and everyone laughed. I like a little humor to break up the nerves of being in front of a crowd. :) He was a great officiant and I highly recommend him!

From the moment we were blessed to have met Pastor Steve Rhoads, he brought with him an excitement, a true caring for our wedding. His calming nature within real time-proven experience, completely made us feel at ease. Pastor Rhoads willingly took lead of all the ceremony's sequencing with the direction of a master composer. No groom or bride will ever worry about where to stand, what to say or when to do it. His gentle disposition and genuine smile truly brightened our amazing day! We can never thank him enough! Pastor Rhoads was wonderful. He did an excellent job all around. He met with us ahead of time so that he could prepare the wedding that we desired. He directed our entire ceremony, acting not only as our Pastor but also as our wedding planner. We have too many good things to say in a review about how much that we enjoyed our wedding, and how much of that is thanks to Pastor Rhoads. He did a wonderful job of putting us at ease, as well as everyone else in our wedding party, and performed a beautiful ceremony.

Since my husband and I got married about 2 hours away from our hometowns, we were afraid we would have a hard time finding a good officiant. We were certainly surprised when we came into contact with Steve. He was extremely nice and it was as if we had known him for years. Most of our correspondence was via email since we live in Virginia, but that was not a problem. He was quick to get back with me and assisted me whenever I had a question or concern. We did a Love Lock Ceremony and I had a reading I wanted him to read during the ceremony so he looked it over and suggested a few corrections, which made it even more perfect! I'm so glad we found Steve, he did such a great job!

Pastor Rhoads is everything that you read on here. I searched for an officiant and down to the wire of nearly 2 weeks before our spontaneous full on ceremony. I found him here!
Thankfully when I reached him he was available on our date to do our ceremony. We met up with him days later and really liked him right away.
Laid back is the best description of him. He was easy to talk to, share with and was very flexible on how we desired to proceed. We picked vows from a selection that he sent us which was absolutely perfect. He was lovely performing our ceremony and a pleasure to have as our officiant. I highly recommend him! He certainly has earned his 5 star ratings!

I would highly recommend Steve! Before our wedding he set up a time to meet with me and my husband. He keep in contact with us all through out planning our wedding making sure we didn't need anything. The ceremony went beautifully! He was very patience with us even when our wedding was running a little late lol and I also lost my marriage license after the wedding and he meet up with me to re fill it out. So when he offers to send off your marriage license, you should listen to him. He was wonderful! :)

We used Pastor Steve Rhoads for our wedding ceremony. He was very responsive to e-mails from the beginning and met with us to make sure the ceremony was what we wanted and to answer any questions we had. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. We got so many compliments on it. I would definitely recommend him to other couples in the Tulsa area!

STEVE WAS WONDERFUL. HE WAS ALWAYS A PHONE CALL OR E-MAIL AWAY. WE MADE MODIFICATIONS TO THE CEREMONY AND STEVE PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY. HE ALSO COORDINATED
WITH THE OTHER VENDERS WE HAD BEAUTIFULLY HAVING ONLY MET THEM 20 MINUTES BEFORE SHOWTIME. WE CHOSE THE OPTION WITHOUT A REHEARSAL AND HE MOVED US THROUGH WITHOUT A HITCH. WE WOULD RECOMEND HIM TO ANY ONE.

Steve was our Officiate on August 31, 2014. He was very personable and made us feel comfortable. He met with us prior to the wedding to discuss the details and answer our questions. He was very prompt at returning any emails I sent him. He recommended using the Unity Cross in our ceremony which we love having as a keepsake. He even took care of ordering it for us. Steve took our beliefs into account when writing the ceremony and was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him to other couples in the Oklahoma area. Thanks Steve!

Pastor Steve is Amazing! Our officiant canceled on us a few weeks before the wedding and Steve worked us into his schedule. He spent time with us to see what we wanted and he did such a wonderful job at our wedding! Well thought ceremony,so beautiful!

Pastor Steve was such a blessing. He was very professional and made me feel stress free at my wedding. The ceremony was beautiful and my guests were moved by his kind words. If there was anything I needed or changed in the ceremony, he made it happen. He also did our premarital counseling which was very helpful and it was nice to get to know him a little more. He also took care of our marriage license after the wedding considering we were leaving on our honeymoon the next morning. Thank you Pastor Steve and we hope that you are doing well. Steve was very patient with me and my family as everyone took a long time to arrive at the rehearsal. He also was awesome the day of the wedding - Steve went along with my husband accidentally dropping my ring and changed the script on the fly to make light of the event. We were so blessed to have Pastor Rhoads officiate our wedding! We are members of a church but due to our wedding being held on Easter weekend, nobody from our church was available. Little did we know, this was a blessing in disguise! We asked Pastor Rhoads to officiate our wedding not knowing him prior to this. We are more MORE than happy to have him as our pastor for our wedding ceremony! Pastor Rhoads went WAY above and beyond what I would consider to be expected from an officiant. Working with Pastor Steve was such a blessing.. We lived out of state and was planning our wedding in Oklahoma. He worked around both of our schedules in order to complete the pre marital counseling.. When we encountered a dilemma with our wedding venue and had no where to turn he was very helpful by being there and answering any questions to help us find a solution to the situation. He was absolutely incredible all the way down to wearing a suit that matched our wedding party. I promise you I will tell everyone we know about Pastor Steve and how much easier he made our special day! Thank you Pastor Steve!

Steve is absolutely amazing! He not only conducted our premarital counseling but also was the officiant in our wedding. The counseling was laid back yet both my husband and I walked away with tons of insight. As far as the wedding itself-- everything was perfect! He even came to the rehearsal. My dad, who is a man of few words and rarely hands out compliments even mentioned how much respect and admiration he has for Pastor Steve. Most importantly.. Steve came to Matt and I right before the service for one last caring and calming hug! We are blessed to know him and now call him a friend!! You'd won't find anyone better or more reliable! He's the best!

Pastor Steve Rhoads was a joy to work with. He was possibly the most helpful and available of all my vendors, often asking if there was anything I needed from him and how he could help. I was a long distance bride and planned my Jenks, OK wedding from CA, so a helpful and responsive officiant was a must! Pastor Steve was reasonably priced and delivered a beautiful ceremony. My fiance and I only know one preacher & didn't want to use him for our ceremony. It's not that we have anything against him, his style just wasn't for us. My venue recommended "wedding wire" & Pastor Rhoads was listed & had great reviews. I would have never expected to have such a great experience without personally knowing our preacher, but Pastor Rhoads was GREAT & we received several compliments on our ceremony. Everyone spoke about how well Pastor Rhoads did & how eloquent he was. We were so happy with him & would definitely recommend him to any of our friends & family. He is very flexible & able to work with you. He even changed his ceremony after I mentioned I wanted some specific scriptures. Thanks again Pastor Rhoads!

Steve was absolutely wonderful! We met with him back in February and discussed the ceremony. He was very nice and listened to all of our concerns, questions and the like. When our venue expectantly closed 6 months to our wedding date, Steve was giving us suggestions (very quickly) of other places we could have our wedding, offering advice, and apologizing that it happened to us even though he had nothing to do with the venue closing. When we moved our date up a month, he changed with us and was VERY quick at responding to our emails about the situation and days he had open! When I asked him about different ceremony readings he sent me everything he had and allowed us to put in suggestions of extra things we wanted. At the wedding he was so great! Steve was on time to both the rehearsal and wedding, asked us how we were doing, and was very patient with our rowdy bunch at rehearsal :) He was an amazing officiant, knows his stuff, very flexible, and willing to do things to make your day just as you always imagined it! HIGHLY recommend!

Steve was one of the easiest and most reliable pieces to our wedding. He was flexible, answered all of our questions. Was upfront and timely with a conflict that arose, but that did not in any way hinder our wedding. He officiated a very beautiful piece and was to me like a strong soft spoken pillar that we needed. not to say he was soft spoken when officiating- that was perfect in every way. I truly appreciated his flexibility with our requests, including a few last minute ones. I also want him to know that I appreciate that he treated each of my three children as individuals and patiently listened to their stories and made my oldest feel special. Thank you!

We were very pleased with Pastor Rhoads' services. He was very easy to work with from our first meeting right down to the ceremony itself. He made us feel very comfortable, spoke very clearly, and had no trouble with names, etc. He even made sure to ask what colors the wedding was so that he could wear an appropriate color tie. Any questions we had throughout the process were answered thoroughly and promptly. Very professional while also making everything seem very personal. We would absolutely recommend using Pastor Rhoads for your wedding.

Pastor Steve Rhoads served at my wedding as the officiant. He was very professional, and flexible. He was willing to travel to my wedding that was out of town. I had guests of different faiths and he made everyone feel very comfortable. I have nothing but praise for his work. I unfortunately lost my father just days before the wedding very unexpectedly and Pastor Rhoads was very understanding. I had to make the very hard decision of going ahead with my wedding or postponing it. My husband and I made the decision to go ahead with our plans to get married because we felt my dad would have wanted that. He was so excited about us getting married. Pastor Rhoads said a very nice prayer for everyone at the reception in rememberance of my father. It was nice to have someone officiant that was so understanding about my situation and someone that was gracious and made all my guests feel comfortable. I highly recommend Pastor Steve Rhoads to any brides to be.

I called Pastor Rhoads on a very short notice even though he hd more weddings to do the same day he was therew for us ,,, the spirit was felt by everyone there it was beautiful !!

Since we decided to get married in Tulsa (90 minutes from where we live), we didn't have a relationship with an officiant to marry us. We did a lot of searching and reviewed most all of the officiants on wedding wire and other sites. We narrowed it down to 5 and set up face-to-face interviews. The first few were a complete dissapointment and were people that had taken a weekend course to be an ordained minister or officiant.
When I emailed Pastor Steve, and explained what we were looking for, he emailed us a sample version of his sermon and we loved it right away. After meeting with him in person, there was no question at all that he was the right person to marry us. He was incredibly nurturing and fatherly and his familiarity with the ceremony cross was a nice surprise, since no one else was familiar with it. On our wedding day, he was so accomodating at our request to wait and sign the marriage license at the beginning of the reception in front of all our wedding guests. He was the perfect addition to our wedding vendors and I'm sure we will continue or relationship with him in the years to come. Highly, highly recommended!!!!! Thank you Pastor Steve!!!

Pastor Steve was wonderful. My first officiant i had lined up fell through 2 months prior to the wedding, and he quickly stepped up and squeezed us in. He was very flexible and willing to go out of his way to get us what we needed. He worked with our schedule and provided a wonderful service. Very prompt on returning emails, texts, phone calls.. also, very professional. I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

My husband Daniel and I are very pleased with the service that we received from Pastor Rhoads. We thoroughly enjoyed the option that we had to make the ceremony uniquley special to us (by adding our own letters to one another).
