A perfect, simple cake
Paris made my textured buttercream cake vision come to life! During the tasting, I asked her for help choosing between two flavors, and she said, “why not both?” and for a couple making so many little and big decisions for a wedding, that is exactly the energy we needed haha. Guests raved about the cake and there wasn’t a piece left at the end of the night! -

Paris did an amazing job designing and baking our wedding cake. She was extremely helpful at the beginning when we had no idea what to do flavor/design wise and really nailed our vision day of. She was very flexible and that helped immensely as we were from out of town. She really took the time to make sure our dream was achieved and made herself available to help answer our questions. She helped us with dietary restrictions and we were able to have both GF and regular flour cakes. Our tasting was thorough and truly helped nail down what we ultimately went with. Our cake looked very elegant and tasted incredible day of. We are very glad we had Paris' help for our wedding day. -

Beautiful and delicious!
The wedding cake was something we were most looking forward to, and Paris absolutely delivered! Paris was great to work with, even when we asked for three different cakes with multiple cake types and icings for each layer. The tasting box was easy to navigate and so much fun to try all the amazing flavors she offers. Paris walked us through all the flavors and combinations we were interested in, offering helpful suggestions throughout. She was flexible with delivery since our wedding was outdoors on a hot day but we still wanted it to be on display. She used flowers from our florist and recreated our vision perfectly. The final product beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend! -

Stunning Work of Art
Paris was awesome to work with! She was very responsive during the planning process, and delivered a beautiful and delicious cake on our wedding day. She made sure we bought the right size cake stand, but also has rental options for those interested. The cake was sturdy and held up nicely for the entire reception. We can't wait to enjoy the part that we froze in 1 year! -

Droolworthy, gorgeous cakes!
Passionflower Cakes makes beautiful, delicious cakes and did an amazing job for our wedding!!! We did tastings with 4 different bakeries and while the cakes from each bakery were amazing, Passionflower’s cakes really stood out (and were competitively priced as well!). We were able to choose three different cakes for each layer and all were delicious. Our wedding cake was beautiful and matched our vision perfectly. We full-heartedly recommend Passionflower Cakes! -

Our wedding cake was AMAZING. Paris did such a beautiful job with our wedding cake and the groom’s cake. She listened to us and gave some really good input. We had some really fun flavors and when we did the cake tasting, Paris added some flavors (like passion fruit) that we weren’t expecting and then ended up picking passion fruit as one of our cake flavors. Her cake is seriously the best stuff we’ve ever had. Book her for your wedding! -

Guests kept telling us the cake was the most delicious cake they’d ever had at a wedding!! Paris at passionflower cakes is a very talented baker. She offers gluten free options (without any extra costs) and offers a wide variety of flavors. So tasty AND beautiful (she matched my inspiration picture perfectly!). Still dreaming about the gluten free lemon cake, and I will be ordering a cake from her again in the future! Highly recommend!! -

Paris at Passionflower was an exceptional partner in our wedding planning. Not only did she offer a plethora of tasting options, she worked carefully with me to understand my vision for our cake and helped me get a better idea of what the final product might look like. We were blown away to see the final product we were arrived at our reception tent day-of. All of the details matched my vision exactly. And perhaps most importantly, the cake was absolutely delicious! Every texture was perfect, and each bite offered a new wonderful flavor. I would be happy to work with Passionflower again. -

The cake was aaaamazing! It could not have been more beautiful or tasted more delicious! We had a 3-tier cake - 2 tiers: Pistachio & Blackberry Buttercream w/ blackberry compote; middle tier: Carrot Spice Cake & alternating layers of cream cheese buttercream & cinnamon spice buttercream. Absolutely perfect for our 76 guests. We kept the top tier to eat post wedding and still have an anniversary cake waiting to be eaten. Paris was more than helpful and was able to accomplish exactly what we wanted. The tasting was even top-notch. Would recommend her and her cakes 10/10! -

Amazing Wedding Cake
Paris was absolutely wonderful to work with and designed the best looking and the best tasting wedding cake for us! We originally looked at a different bakery but weren’t impressed with the flavor. After reading some reviews on Wedding Wire, we decided to try out Paris and Passionflower Cakes and wow- we are so happy we found her! From the tasting (huge box of all different cakes and icings), to the quick responsiveness leading up to the wedding, to creating the design of the cake, to the day-of delivery, Paris was amazing! We went with alternating layers of almond and devils food cake with vanilla buttercream and it tasted heavenly. Our guests loved the cake and many asked for seconds! I highly recommend Passionflower Cake for any of your cake needs :) Thank you, Paris!! -

Paris was so wonderful to work with. We got to plan our cake design and flavors throughout the process. All her frostings and cake bases were delicious! It was so hard to choose but we found the perfect combination! We did a divine bourbon brownie with vanilla bean buttercream and red velvet with nutella buttercream. Everyone loved our cake and got second helpings! Paris has such an artistic eye and designed our pastel cake with silver accents to perfection to fit our elegant Spring vineyard theme. We HIGHLY recommend Passionflower Cakes!! -

Paris was FANTASTIC!! We picked her because of her wide variety of interesting cake flavors (ok, tbh I was hooked immediately by the idea of a bourbon brownie cake) and frosting/filling options. She was great to work with - very informative and willing to answer questions while we narrowed down our choices. We LOVED our cakes - all 3 flavors! We got the bourbon brownie (of course) with chocolate raspberry ganache and cream cheese fillings, the carrot cake with cinnamon ginger cream cheese filling, and the red velvet with cream cheese frosting inside and white chocolate frosting on the outside. Each one got rave reviews! My favorite was (predictably) the chocolate. My husband liked the carrot cake best until he got his hands on the red velvet, and then it was all over. Consensus was that they were some of the best cakes any of us had ever had. Would recommend Paris 100%!! -

Amazing Experience Despite the Pandemic
Booking Paris to create our wedding cakes was one of the best things we did. Not only did she work with us to create a beautiful wedding cake, but she also brought my vision of a Taco Bell themed groom's cake to life! After our tasting, we cancelled every other tasting we had set up and booked her immediately. She is very responsive and will work to create whatever dessert set-up you can imagine. -

Working with Paris on our wedding cakes was, without a doubt, the best and easiest decision we made during our wedding plans. From our initial conversation and exchanging of ideas to the tasting, to the final execution, she made us feel incredibly well-supported with our extensive demands for our cutting cake and cupcakes.
We had one small cutting cake topped with realistic sugar flowers to resemble the florals of our wedding. We also asked for four different cupcakes and butter cream pairings piped into the shape of four different flowers that we executed like a true master.
Everyone raved about our delicious cakes because, not only did they taste incredible they were absolutely GORGEOUS. Do not hesitate- reach out to Paris and let her make your experience just as magical and delicious!! -

A delicious dessert selection that is beautiful and customizable
Paris was amazing to work with. She offers many options of desserts and flavor combinations. She did a great job with taking ideas for my wedding cake decorations and making them a reality. She even made customized cookies for the rehearsal dinner. All of the desserts (brownies, cake truffles, mini cupcakes, cookies) and the cake were delicious. -

I loved our cake. It was everything I wanted and more. We got married on May 4th (Star Wars Day!) and wanted part of the cake to be tied into Star Wars, as well as some of our other nerdy loves (Super Mario, Firefly, and Zelda). I was worried throughout the process of finding someone that the cake design would be more child's birthday party than wedding cake- Paris knocked it out of the park. She was very responsive throughout the design process. The cake was so tastefully decorated and was everything we wanted and more. The flavors were great and the cake was moist. My (now) husband and I have very different tastes in cake flavors and Paris was able to make it work. We did a layer of red velvet with a Mexican chocolate filling, and two smaller layers of coconut cake with key lime filling. We got compliments on both! The only down side is that we forgot our top layer so we will definitely be getting in touch in the future to have some for our anniversary! -

Planning our wedding cake with Paris was one of our most memorable highlights of wedding planning. We met with her exactly a year before our wedding for a cake tasting. We discussed how many guests we were expecting, tiers we wanted and if we had a theme for the wedding. By the way, our theme was a "soft" travel theme. Soft meaning we didn't want to throw the theme in our guest's faces. She nailed it perfectly!!
We spent a little over an hour and half at her shop discussing design and tasting. I can't remember all the cakes and icings but they ranged from: passion fruit, chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, bourbon brownie, vanilla, marble and so many others. The icings ranged from: nutella, chocolate, lemon, raspberry, vanilla and etc. It was a lot of fun mixing and matching, and was great that we had so many options.
We decided going with Passion Fruit Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Filling for one of the tiers. For the other two tiers we had two flavors in one Bourbon Brownie and Devil's Food Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Filling and Nutella Buttercream Filling. They were amazing and stayed delicious and moist the whole night.
As for the design, Paris gave us seven options to chose from. She had sketched them out for us and included notes and cost. It made it so easy to choose and very comforting to have a visual beforehand.
Thank you so much Paris for making our wedding cake so memorable, delicious and fantastic. Our guest are still raving about it. We can't wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can eat it all over again! -

Cake tasting was the part of wedding planning my husband and I looked forward to the most--and Paris, the owner of Passionflower Cakes, went above and beyond our expectations at the initial meeting and at the wedding itself. Her cakes are gorgeous but more importantly they are mouthwateringly delicious. There were no leftovers aside from our anniversary layer, which my husband and I finished a couple days after the wedding because we just couldn't wait a year to eat it. We got three smaller cakes in almond, passion fruit, and chocolate... Our guests loved them all! -

We had Paris do our wedding cake for our wedding last Saturday. We knew passionflower cakes was the one when my then fiancé and I had a hard time narrowing down flavors to our favorite ones since we liked so many of them. From the planning to payment to day of delivery it could not have been easier. She made our wedding cake dreams come alive and was more than we could ever imagine. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! We ordered a small cake that incorporated things we both love- my love of Disney and my husbands love of firefighting. The cake was cookies and cream with a strawberry buttercream, so freaking delicious!!! If we have another need for a cake in the future Paris would be our go to! -

Paris was so kind and drew up my vision right in then and there at our first consultation. When we met with Paris, I didn’t really know what kind of cake I wanted. She was patient and took the time to ask us questions to determine the size and style cake that was best for us. I had a few pictures of cakes I had found online that I liked, and she helped me narrow it down to one. She did an amazing job recreating the design and modifying it based on my preferences. We had so much fun tasting the different cake and filling combinations – they were all delicious! The chocolate bourbon brownie cake with dulce de leche and Nutella filling combination was to die for and we loved the confetti cake with strawberry filling too! Our cake looked beautiful and was sooooo delicious! It was seriously the best cake I’ve ever eaten. As soon as the cake was cut, the plates flew off the dessert table faster than I’ve ever seen at a wedding and many of our guests raved about the cake throughout the night. I 100% recommend Paris and Passionflower Cakes and am already trying to find a reason to order another cake from her soon! -

From the beginning, working with Paris and conveying our theme/inspiration was easy for her to translate that into our cake. She welcomed us in for a cake tasting and even offered us a bit of private time to taste the multitude of cake flavors and icing -- let's be real, it was quite possibly the biggest highlight of our entire wedding planning! From there, she was thorough on outlining the process and what to expect and how much cake should be served per person. She worked with the budget we had and even reminded us to be in full coordination with our florist so both design elements could be intertwined seamlessly. She was approachable, dependable, and on the day of our wedding, popped in with the most beautiful cake and exactly what we envisioned. Being presented with many different types of cakes cut into bite size pieces and little ramekins of icings was incredible. I ended up picking flavor combos I may not have otherwise! My vision turned out even better than I could have imagined. Paris is truly an artist! We got so many compliments on the cake at the wedding. Although we lived 2.5 hours apart, we were able to communicate effectively to develop what turned out to be a beautiful and delicious cake. She communicated regularly, asking all of the right questions. She discusses your wedding theme, colors, styles as it relates to the cake and she was very accommodating of each of our creative ideas. We were able to pull examples from Pinterest to get the exact look and feel we were going for. During our cake tasting, she invited us to her beautiful home to taste flavors. We had so much fun! In the end, Paris executed the job and gave us the exact cake we dreamed of. Thank you so much, Paris! Everyone at the wedding mentioned how beautiful (and unreal) and tasty the cake was. If ever in the future, I need a cake, it will certainly be from Passionflowercakes.
Our cake had a different flavor (filling and cake base) in each tier. She was able to use buttercream (neither of us was a fan of fondant) and smooth it out so beautifully to create a fondant effect. How amazing and gorgeous is this cake! The flavors were almond, passionfruit, cream cheese, and raspberry. The marble effect was from the raspberry buttercream. -

I CAN NOT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW DELICIOUS THE CAKE WAS!!! we did a semi naked red velvet cake with raspberry buttercream and blackberry preserves. I never hear people talk about wedding cake but so many came up to me to tell me how delicious it was. Paris added dimension by adding gold leaf as well to go with our flower cascade. It was absolutely a gorgeous cake. Paris helped me design what I wanted and took the time to listen to me and get an idea of how I visioned my whole wedding. She was very accommodating with delivery and setting up of the cake. It was just a beautiful, stunning cake. Exactly what We wanted.

When we went to our first tasting with her, she took a look at our invitations and took notes on what we liked from her portfolio and created several beautiful ideas for us to consider. By the time we left that meeting, we had come up with a cake that we could not wait to see or taste. My husband and I handmade paper flowers for our centerpieces and Paris created beautifully intricate sugar flowers with our paper ones as the inspiration. The bourbon brownie batter and chai spice cake flavors that we chose were an absolute hit with our guests. The cake was beautiful and tasty and Paris was a dream to work with. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Kim Sent on 10/22/2017The cakes that Paris made for our wedding were an absolute hit! From the moment we walked into her studio for a consultation and tasting we knew we were in good hands. Paris took the few details we'd emailed in advance (love of chocolate and bourbon) and had a full buffet of various flavor and icing samples for us to try. She was incredibly accommodating with our limited budget and able to give us beyond what we'd ever expected- both in terms of design and flavors. She even sketched out a design right in front of us so we could get a better visualization. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Oh, and our final cake flavors? The display cake was half devil's food chocolate cake and half bourbon brownie cake with alternating chocolate truffle ganache and white chocolate buttercream filling. The "kitchen cake" was vanilla cake with alternating cream cheese frosting filling and strawberry buttercream filling.

Amy Sent on 09/26/2017Paris was so wonderful to work with! A few months before our wedding, I decided I wanted to surprise my fiance with a groom's cake (he's a huge Mets fan). Paris's cake was a work of art - and (more importantly) delicious too! So many guests came up to tell us how good it tasted and how fun it was. Communication and payment were seamless, quick, and easy, and they delivered it right to the venue on the day of the wedding. I could not recommend Paris and Passionflower Cakes more highly - do yourself a favor and book them immediately!

My husband and I met with her for a tasting many months before our wedding not really knowing what to expect. We showed her pictures of what we liked, and Paris talked us through the design and found a way to give us what we wanted and keep it in budget. She even bought a new stencil just for our cake so that we could have exactly what we wanted.
The cake was not only totally gorgeous but also delicious. We had three very tasty flavors. At the tasting, everything was so good, it was hard to narrow it down, but the ones we picked were well received and very good.
The delivery on the day of the wedding went very smoothly. I didn't even know it had happened until after it was done because there were no issues.
I cannot recommend Paris enough. Even the people at our venue said it was one of the most beautiful cakes they had ever seen, so she obviously knows what she is doing!

My only regret is that I didn't get to eat more cake! Our cutting cake was perfect and exactly like the photo we agreed on. We also did a kitchen cake for our guests. Paris was super easy to work with and helped us pick flavors that went together even when we did our cake tasting privately due to Covid. We're already looking forward to eating our top tier in a year!
