Most attentive and fun DJ ever!

Jeremy and team from Party People went above and beyond for our wedding. The mixing for our first dance had to be very specific and he absolutely nailed it. Even with our last minute changes. All of the guests had fun the entire time. If you are looking for good times, someone who cares about what you want, and an amazing atmosphere, you definitely need to have Party People SD for your event.

5 stars !!!

We hired Jeremy with Party People SD for our wedding last month, and it was one of the best decisions ever! From the very beginning he was prompt, attentive, knowledgeable, listened to our ideas/ needs and made sure we had everything covered. From DJ services, ceremony audio, speakers set up in different areas, uplighting in the ballroom, and the add-on photobooth services, everything was a hit! Jeremy kept us on schedule, and we received compliments all night long on the music selections, and helpful assistance with the officiant & family/friend speeches. The photobooth was so fun, and is a must add on.

Party People San Diego at Bernardo Winery

My husband and I recently had our wedding 3/29/25 at Bernardo winery. Party People San Diego was one of the preferred vendors at our venue, and we are so happy with Party People SD's services. We specifically worked with DJ Drew and we were so impressed with his level of professionalism, attention to detail and communication/ coordination with other vendors. DJ Drew not only worked with us, the day of, but met with us a couple of times prior to our wedding day to obtain our song lists for the ceremony/cocktail hour/ dinner/reception and asked thorough open ended questions to understand what our wedding 'vibe' was.

DJ Drew and Party People SD have worked several times with Bernardo Winery wedding coordinator/ staff and my husband and I had such peace of mind knowing that the venue coordinator and Drew work so well together.

Drew's style and approach to DJ'ing using our music kept everyone on the dance floor - not a dull moment during our reception! Drew was also mindful of our set list and had people double check with my husband and I before playing songs that weren't on our list.

There were times throughout the day of our wedding where the schedule of events had to be slightly modified, and Drew showed exceptional adaptability and quick thinking to make our day go off without any issue.

My husband and I would highly recommend Party People San Diego to any couple that are looking for DJ services for their wedding.

Wedding 2024

Holy smokes, we threw these guys a curve ball by requesting a personal mosh pit for the groom and they did not disappoint. The lights, the bpm the vibes all on point all night long. Even with random requests he didn't skip a beat and simply moved forward with keeping our bodies moving. I couldn't be happier with his skills and character. Plus the photo booth guy was awesome! even took the time to pose with some of more intoxicated guests per their request. I love the photos, I love the memories and I absolutely love this guys ability to be on the ball. 100/10

Best hiring decision we made

Hiring Jeremy and his team was hands down the absolutely the best decision we ever made for our wedding. Jeremy and his entire team are top notch; from initial call, to the consultation call, to celebrating the best day of our lives together.

The consultation call was more in depth than I could have ever imagined, we had the timing planned down the SECOND. My wife had some crazy ideas/request, and Jeremy couldn't be more happy to do whatever he could to make it work for us.

I could go on and on about how great their team is and what they did for us, but bottom line, hire Party People San Diego and you will not be disappointed.

5 stars for DJ Party People!

Jeremy was so wonderful! He was very methodical in the planning process and helped my husband and I walk through the entire day picking and curating songs/playlists for each aspect. I sent him a few songs we had in mind for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing and then he completely knocked the playlist out of the park! Our guests all commented on how much fun the dancing portion was and helped keep the energy up the entire night for our small group! I cannot recommend him enough and am so thankful he was a part of our day!!

Jeremy is extremely professional, kind, fun and excellent at his job!

If you are looking for an amazing DJ who will keep the party going all night, then the search is over!!! You’ll definitely want to contract with Party People SD. Jeremy is extremely kind, professional and fun! Throughout the entire process Jeremy was quick to respond to all of our questions and was extremely accommodating to all of our requests and needs.

I had been worried that my husband’s taste in music (country) and my Mexican/East Coast vibe would be difficult to create a play list for, not to mention adding in different generations. To ease my anxiety, I had a consultation with Jeremy a few weeks before the event. With his expertise and guidance we created the program for the reception, and he reassured me of his expertise in blending different types of music for wedding receptions. Jeremy did an amazing job with the music set list and with taking requests as they came in; he took cues from the crowd and kept the party going the entire event.

A few weeks before the reception I heard the comment that a DJ can make or break a wedding. Of course this produced some level of anxiety but it was all in vain because Jeremy curated the perfect mix of music for a millennial, boomer, Latin, Pop, and Country wedding reception. I continue to get complements our fun wedding reception - it’s all thanks DJ Jeremy!

Jeremy went above and beyond!! He kept the party on schedule. He was so helpful in explaining to our guests what was going to happen next. This was extremely helpful as our reception was on the shorter side and we had to get through a lot in a little amount of time. Everything went according to plan!

Jeremy also provides up-lights which help make any venue have that extra fancy touch, and offers photo-booth services which are so fun at any event and provide guests with a keepsake.

We are so happy we had Jeremy as our wedding DJ. He made our party fun and memorable! We definitely recommend hiring Jeremy 10/10 as your DJ for any event!!!

Too good to describe

We had the pleasure of having DJ Jeremy from Party People San Diego at our wedding, held at the Sheraton La Jolla. Jeremy's ability to seamlessly blend Armenian, Russian, and American songs was truly outstanding. He created an incredible atmosphere that had everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. Jeremy and his assistant went above and beyond our expectations, making our night an absolute dream come true.

We also highly recommend adding the uplighting that Jeremy offers. It added the vibes and feel that we were going for, enhancing the overall experience. It was truly a magical celebration that we'll cherish forever. Thank you, Party People San Diego, for the outstanding service!

We cannot say enough to explain what a pleasure it was working with Party People San Diego and DJ Nick. The team was so professional! Jeremy at Party People was the best!

Jeremy Jones, owner of Party People San Diego, was amazing to work with! He truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. We had a smaller guest count and he kept the dance floor packed the whole night! He catered to all age ranges and everyone loved his ability to read the crowd and the variety of music he played to appease all of our guests! My husband and I had a special request song for our entrance and Jeremy truly went the extra mile to convert the song into a high quality audio for us to enter our reception to. They even had cold sparklers, which was a crowd hit, photo booths, and so much more available! He had the perfect energy level for our crowd and our wedding truly wouldn’t have been the same without him. This is your sign to use Party People San Diego for all your party needs! Absolutely Epic!!!

My wife and I had the privilege to work with Jeremy and his team for our wedding at the Westin Carlsbad this past weekend! We looked into and had talks with many of the other DJ’s in the San Diego/Carlsbad area and none impressed us as much as Jeremy had. From the very beginning, Jeremy showed the upmost professionalism and compassion towards our wedding — He was dedicated to ensure that our wedding was going to be as exciting as my wife and I had dreamed of.

The planning and attention to detail leading up to the event was top notch, and Jeremy was extremely kind and patient with us as we sat and discussed the music details of the wedding reception program. He even provided a mini snippet of the grand entrance and went through the tedious effort of ensuring that everyone’s names were pronounced correctly from our wedding sponsors and parents down to our wedding party. The smallest details and even the correct pronunciation was very much appreciated!

The energy that he brought to the wedding was epic… We are still getting rave reviews from our guests on the vibe/music/lights and the entire experience that Jeremy and his team brought. FYI the monogram that we got through him looked extremely good! We had a lot of friends/family that are getting married soon and they all said that Jeremy and his team set the bar extremely high. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND JEREMY!!! If we were to re-do this entire wedding again, our DJ choice would never change.

Best DJ ever!

We hired PPSD for our ~100 person wedding and Jeremy was absolutely fantastic as our MC & DJ.

From our first call to the end of the night, Jeremy was extremely professional, responsive, and attentive to us. During planning, he helped us figure out the program for the night, walking us step by step through what he would say. He listened to all of our requests and was so easy to work with.

Jeremy asked us for a number of songs / playlists we would like to hear, and he made sure to incorporate them all while he was DJing. He threw in plenty of his own music that fit our songs well. Everyone was dancing and having so much fun! Many people told us afterwards how much they liked the music at the wedding.

Jeremy, thank you so much for making our day so special. I still remember the last bit of the night vividly. It was a really magical moment, one of the happiest in my life, and you helped to create that moment. Thank you!!

Amazing service!

My now husband and I loved party people. All our guests loved the music and the Photo Booth. Nick and Nate were absolutely perfect. Everyone loved Nate helping them with the photos they also give you a flash drive with all the pictures so you have something to look through the day after your wedding!

The Most EPIC Wedding

Where do I even begin?? Finding a good DJ can be such a daunting task because they definitely set the tone for any event and especially for a wedding. From the beginning to the end, Jeremy was so amazing with communication. We spent hours on the phone discussing our vision for our wedding with him and he definitely executed it perfectly. We wanted a big party for our wedding and that is exactly what he delivered and more. He has many extras that you can add on to make your day even better than imagined. Throughout the night, Jeremy kept checking in on us to make sure we were having a good time at our wedding, it's the little things like this that make a big difference. Not only did we get an exceptional DJ and MC that our guests could not stop talking about, but on top of that, Jeremy also broke out in some awesome dance moves that kept our guests going until the very end!

I am confident that this is the best DJ service you can hire for any event and at a very reasonable price as well. So many of our guests have told us that we had the most epic wedding they've ever been to and a big part of that was due to Jeremy and his team. They were truly the best HYPE people.

Above and Beyond

If you are looking for a DJ that pays attention to detail, is very professional, and is open to learning new songs to put into their library, then look no further. Jeremy has been a huge help during the process of planning the reception for my wedding step by step. Especially with the circumstances at hand for us, my mother had an emergency that changed a few things plan wise, he kept solid with communications and helped ease any worries on the mind. He gave us suggestions and alternatives that could be done if something didn't come out like it was planned, which helped a lot to settle the mind.

The day of was amazing. He helped with keeping things lively and fun for the party, but also balanced well the personal moments we had in mind in between songs. Never once did he miss a beat or slow down a moment when he was emceeing. He was very kind and thoughtful with people's requests and helped get each one in smoothly. It was genuinely such grand moment in our lives and Jeremy made it come true with his DJ talent. I really recommend you look no other place, you will not be disappointed.

DJ Jeremy was Great!

We were so happy that we chose Jeremy to DJ our wedding. From our initial phone call to our last song - we had nothing but great experiences with Party People.

Jeremy was extremely professional and easy to talk to on the phone - we didn't feel stressed about music at all leading up to our reception thanks to his demeanor. In addition, he had a great song selection and was accommodating to our guests' requests despite not getting much guidance from us. He was a lot of fun and even got a chance to share the dancefloor with us. We're sure our guests shared our sentiment!

Above and beyond expectations!

Jeremy did an AMAZING job for our wedding in July 2022 at Bonita Golf Course. He is an incredibly talented DJ who had us dancing for hours. He also really nailed balancing and seamlessly mixing our diverse music needs from reggaeton to Persian music to EDM and bay area hyphy. He did an excellent job with the pre-ceremony and ceremony music and maintained quality audio for things like the speeches. In addition to his ability to maintain an energetic party, he also went above and beyond to understand our vision for the night and our timeline and make sure to coordinate with the venue and other vendors to make our vision a reality. Jeremy was highly recommended by Bonita Golf Course and he worked extremely well with the team there to make sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The pricing is extremely reasonable and very clearly communicated. Most importantly, Jeremy was extremely reliable, organized, personable and humble and it really made everything from the planning process to the night itself so enjoyable!

Jeremy was absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend

My wife and I got married in July 2022, and Jeremy was absolutely *phenomenal* throughout not just the big day itself, but also in the weeks leading up to it! Well before the wedding day, Jeremy had a Zoom call with us so he could learn more about our vision and our general vibes. In the weeks before the wedding, he kept in constant communication with us, and he kept up with any song requests / playlists we wanted to include in the wedding. A week before the wedding, he had another Zoom call with us and went through our entire wedding timeline with us to make sure he was aware of everything that should be happening at any given time. On the day of, Jeremy blew us away with his ability to keep the event on-track and making sure the vibe of the night was always on-point. I'm Persian-American and my wife is half white American and half Taiwanese, but I grew up in Chula Vista and listen to a lot of reggaeton, so I'm sure our song requests were particularly challenging for Jeremy to mix together smoothly, but despite this, he went *way* above and beyond. We were all dancing the entire night, and so many of my Persian relatives were *shocked* when I told them that we didn't have a Persian DJ, because they couldn't imagine how Jeremy could have possibly done that well with Persian music he wasn't familiar with (they all said he was much better at mixing Persian music than actual Persian DJs they've hired in the past!). I honestly cannot imagine how our wedding day would have gone without Jeremy's amazing work: the entire time, my wife and I felt like we were in good hands, and we were able to just kick back and enjoy the night. The highlight of the night: Jeremy jumped onto the dance floor to join in for a second and *did a flip!!!* (photo of amazed guests attached!) Thank you, Jeremy, for everything :-)

Professional, Amazing

Jeremy was the wedding DJ of our dreams! I was VERY picky about this because the DJ can make/break your event. He brought high energy, but was classy about it. That is not easy to do, but Jeremy delivered. He accommodated all of the songs we wanted, and made us the bests playlists. All of our guests were dancing, and he was so easy and fun to work with. The lighting services and photobooth were also incredible. We are so grateful to him for helping make our wedding day the BEST day of our lives, he is truly talented.

Great DJ Awesome Service

I want to have another wedding so I can work with Jeremy again!

Jeremy made our wedding dreams come true last weekend! Jeremy was our DJ and was PERFECT! We also worked with his team for a photobooth (which he gave us a discount on since we booked both together). We are so happy that we were able to work with him and are super-grateful for all the extra effort he put into our special day. Everything was PERFECT - from the name pronunciations, to including specific songs at specific times, and he kept the dance party going all night! He really went above and beyond with some surprise extras - a disco ball after he heard I love discoballs, a fog gun machine for the dance party, AND he hit the floor with some fun break-dance moves! The uplights included in our package also made the party come together - he also brought a spotlight to highlight our memorial table, which was very special to us. I can't tell you how many of our friends had great things to say about our DJ and how he facilitated the party. Jeremy also ensured that everything ran smoothly during the ceremony. He double-checked names pronunciations and orders for all announcements, all mics were working and sound was a good level.

The photobooth was a fun add and enjoyed by our guests. It was sleek and professional, with an operator and lots of fun props and unlimited prints. In the end, we got a thumb drive with all the photos on it.

During one of our meetings with Jeremy, he said he was committed to making our vision a reality and he did! He was very professional throughout the whole process and even came to our walkthrough at the venue so that he could understand all the details of our wedding day. We 100% recommend Jeremy and the Party People Team!

Jeremy is the Swiss Army Knife of DJs!

Jeremy was everything we wanted in a wedding DJ and more! As an emcee, he was energetic, fun, and kept the party alive the entire evening. He was also extremely professional throughout the entire experience, both as our wedding DJ and in the way he conducted business. We had some unique activities at our wedding, including cultural dances, but Jeremy wasn’t phased and he was actually quite accommodating. Apart from being flexible and extremely easy to work with, Jeremy was also one of our most trusted wedding advisors. Any time we were faced with a difficult decision, Jeremy offered his time and provided valuable insights to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. Very Professional and Kept the Party Going

We had the best time at our wedding and a lot of it was thanks to Jeremy and his team. Jeremy is straight up professional. He was super easy to communicate with and just a great guy. He was also very helpful with figuring out many of the details for wedding we did not know.

On our wedding day due to our venue Jeremy had to setup three different sounds systems he did it seamlessly. He was there on time and ready to roll when the wedding started. The sound was perfect, not too loud and not too soft. When it came to the dancing he kept energy going until the end. Every major song was on cue. He also did amazing job as MC and kept everything running smoothly.

Wedding Day Perfection!

Jeremy was our saving grace on our day! He stepped in to help keep us on track and on time (as we didn’t have a coordinated or planner). He really stuck to music we enjoyed and impressed our guests with his dance skills! His attention to detail was a huge help and especially appreciated by two perfectionists. Our quirky requests were met with encouragement and he really understood what we were hoping to accomplish in our choices so he made sure that was what we got to experience on our wedding day. Amazing dj!

We got married March 2021, and could not have asked for a better DJ to work with on our wedding day. Jeremy was amazing to work with leading up to our wedding. He arranged a meeting a few months prior, and a week out where we were able to work with him to work on the timeline and pick out the perfect song for each moment on our special day. Jeremy provided his expert opinion which was so helpful in planning our big day. Throughout our wedding Jeremy did a great job playing music that kept the crowd dancing and having fun all night. He did a great job with announcing all of our wedding party and parents. Everyone has commented and complemented how amazing and fun our wedding was which is all thanks to an unforgettable DJ. We HIGHLY recommend having Jeremy bring the confetti cannon. It was a highlight of the night!

Jeremy was great! He played the best music for each part of our wedding! There was non-stop dancing! He took the time to meet with us and talk through all our special songs to ensure we were all on the same page. Best Wedding DJ!

My husband and I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Jeremy and his company! We had a destination wedding and booked Jeremy based on awesome reviews from several different websites and we could not have been happier with our decision! Jeremy went above and beyond to help us plan our wedding day, he was our MC/DJ and he was not only very professional and made everything run smooth for the ceremony/reception but definitely got the party going!!! All of our guests kept raving about Jeremy during and after the wedding. Party People SD also has a photo booth and lighting package available which I would HIGHLY recommend, the photo booth was a total HIT and we were given copies of all the photos taken. As a Latina, dancing was important and Jeremy met my needs

I originally from the East Coast and I didn't know any good DJs and since I am Latina, music was EXTREMELY important to me. I stressed that to DJ Jeremy several times and we talked on the phone, met in person and he said he would be able to meet my needs. Let me say that I was NOT disappointed at all, Jeremy delivered! I have been told by if not all but most of my guest that my wedding was SO much fun and where did I find him! To be honest, I went on Instagram, searched hash tag #sdweddingdj and the page came up, emailed him got a quote, we talked about my husband being in the military and that we also wanted a photo booth which he was able recognize his service and provide us with a photo booth the whole night (unlike other vendors that are hourly booths). All I can say is thank you for being a part of accomplishing my wedding party dreams. Do you DJ baby showers? joking, not joking! :)

Great DJ! Look no further.

We hired Jeremy to DJ our wedding on 6/21/2019 at the Coronado Community Center and were not disappointed! He proved to be a great choice from the first meeting we had with him. He truly loves his craft, and will tailor everything to your needs. I guarantee that after you are done meeting with Jeremy, he will win you over. During the wedding day, our dance floor was full the entire night! We had a hispanic wedding but wanted a variety of music choices for the different age groups. Jeremy did an excellent job of finding the rights points in the night to smoothly transition between the music choices we gave him. In addition to a great wedding planner, you really need a great DJ to enjoy a seamless event. Jeremy is that DJ. We would definitively hire him again and recommend him to DJ your wedding.

We can't thank Jeremy enough for making our wedding and reception so special! The first time we met with Jeremy we were so excited and knew he was going to be a great DJ! Fantastic DJ/MC, uplights, photobooth

My husband and I hired Party People SD for DJ/MC, photobooth & uplighting services for our wedding (ceremony + reception) a few weeks ago at the Martin Johnson House and couldn't be happier! We researched multiple companies and ended up talking to 3 different DJ companies before making our decision to hire Jeremy for our wedding. What sealed the deal for our was initial casual conversation with him, and his competitive pricing. And on top of that he's also a Cal alumna! Go Bears!

In the 2 weeks leading up to our wedding, we had 2 phone conversations...the first of which lasted about 1.5 hours as we discussed song selections, timeline, and logistics. Jeremy played songs for us and gave us examples of his MC style as we tried to decide our songs for different events throughout the reception. The week of our wedding we had another phone conversation to finalize our details. Jeremy was flexible with us, as we wanted FOUR different songs for our processional, and he made it work! A DJ/MC is one of the most important vendor of any wedding, and every time we spoke to him, he helped take our anxiety away.

We sent Jeremy a very thorough spreadsheet with our song choices and preferences for the reception and he was able to play our must play songs + more, and it all blended together very smoothly, as my husband and I have very opposite music tastes (me = top 40 / pop / teenybopper, EDM; husband = hip hop).

We also sent Jeremy the wording/logo we wanted for our photo booth strips and it turned out great! The image and print quality were top notch! Our guests had a blast at the photo booth and we received digital copies of the pictures via dropbox of 2 GB!!! of pictures within 4 days of the wedding! It was so fun to go through the pictures and see how much fun our guests had! He even made us a short photo booth edit on instagram a few days later!

Jeremy checked in with us during the reception to make sure we liked the color of the uplights, and he kept the timeline running smoothly! Our guests had a blast and he kept everyone dancing! We received many compliments about our music. Apparently my mom was even dancing on the dance floor (to Missy Elliot)! We had the shoe game during our reception and Jeremy even had the questions printed out for our wedding party to read! Everything was so wonderful, we didn't want the night to end!

Side note: Jeremy also referred us to SD socialights for market lighting, which is also another amazing vendor!

We highly recommend Jeremy for any event! My husband and I, and our guests had such a blast at our wedding! Thank you again Jeremy!

Wedding in January

Working with Jermery was great! My wife isnt from this country and wasnt here till a few days before the event. i wasnt sure where to start with wedding music. Jermery helped so much with getting the music for each part of the wedding. He made sure it wasnt just his recommendations but that we also had a few songs picked out to make it personal and special.

We had people dance that never hit the dance floor before. everything that was played was great and fit the crowd. It was also a nice special touch when he added some japanese to his announcements. We had so much fun that night.

Im really glad Party people were able to provide entertainment for our wedding.

Best vendor you will hire!

Jeremey Jones was the best you can get! It’s true what people say the DJ can make or break your night and he made it! Besides the food this is the single most important vendor you will choose that will have a direct impact on your guest’s night. Jeremy doesn’t forget this and he takes his job very seriously. From the first conversation we had with him he wanted to make sure everything he did for us was going to be perfect. He was very easy to work with, quick to respond, and nailed the music selection! I felt a little bad since we were pretty vague on what we wanted but he really tuned in to us and had everybody out dancing. He was checking in on use to make sure the night was going well and kept the whole evening running smoothly and on track. We recently got married at the Catamaran Resort & Spa in San Diego. Jeremy was awesome to work with! We live in Colorado, but he was able to make the planning process seamless and easy despite the distance! On top of providing excellent DJ service, we also contracted for uplights, a photo booth, and videography. The videography was very last minute (a few weeks before the wedding), but Jeremy was able to accommodate our request!

He played all requested songs and helped give suggestions on things we weren't sure about! He provided music from pre-ceremony through the cocktail hour, reception, and dance. The photo booth was a wonderful addition for our guests and everyone we worked with on Jeremy's team was professional and fun! The whole event was a blast and it couldn't have gone any better!

I highly recommend Party People San Diego for any DJ events, but especially your wedding! He did an absolutely wonderful job at ours! :)

We just had our wedding two weekends ago and with great vendors like Party people, I'm so happy it went smoothly! Jeremy was a really great DJ and was so helpful. Picking a DJ was a difficult decision because we feel like the music is such an important part to the reception. Andy from Party People was the DJ for my recent wedding at the Bernardo Winery. He really went above and beyond in making sure our day went off without a hitch. He met with us a couple of times before our wedding and provided great entertainment. We had a very specific combination of songs for our first dance and he played them perfectly. My fiancé and I booked Party People San Diego for our wedding in August . We had our wedding at the Coronado Community center . We used their amazing up lighting , ordered the gobo
With our initials, their photo booth and of course their famous DJ services . Party People offers beautiful crystal decor. I had decorations but also requested a few of theirs to give the wedding more elegance. We also requested for some video. We initially were not going to have a video, but I'm glad we did. The videographer James was awesome. He captured all our amazing moments that we would of missed If we did not go with the video services. Jeremy Jones who is the owner who helped to coordinate my event with Red who was our DJ. Red was spectacular. My dance floor was packed ! Which was one of the most important things to me . All the music I wanted was played and he played songs he chose but all of them matched the style I was going for. He was an awesome MC! Very energetic and kept the party going !! With Jeremy helping us coordinate our event nothing went wrong . Jeremy and Red took the time to really find out what we wanted for our wedding, from custom color up lights, to the cocktail and dinner music to party music and to our timeline. When I met with Jeremy and red before the wedding I already knew I made the right choice . The photo booth was a big hit. Jeremy knew when was a good time to shut it off so there wasn't a huge line when we were having our first dance, the speeches, etc. he provided us great methods of how to retrieve our photos from our guests . They had a whole table full of props ! What was really cool was Jeremy made sure that me and my fiancé took at least one picture together when he first opened it which I really appreciated! Another great thing that Party People offered was our wedding ceremony Hoopa. we were unable to find one in time, but Party People saved the day . They built it to perfection and it was beautiful !

Jeremy is AWESOME!! Our main goal was for all of our guests to have fun. Jeremy is really intuitive and able to feel out what the crowd wants to hear. He is a great MC and even did some break dancing himself, which was a HUGE hit with our crowd. Our family and friends still give us compliments on our music and DJ! Jeremy was the emcee for our wedding in October. He was extremely friendly and easy to work with. We met three times prior to the wedding; once to initially meet and figure out what we needed to do, second at the wedding site and a last time to finalize things. Jeremy was easy going and flexible when we made a last minute change on where he setup during the ceremony and reception. He also had a smaller system that was used for the cocktail hr prior to the reception in another location that was perfect. The music selection was great and kept everyone on the dance floor. I found Party People San Diego on The Knot while searching for a DJ for my wedding in September. As soon as I emailed what I was looking for, I got a call from Jeremy. He went through my questions and list of preferences, and gave me a quote over the phone. I felt like I definitely made the right choice in contacting him!

As we neared my big day, I was able to give him a tailored list of what songs should be played for each part of my wedding including a must-play and must-not-play list. When we had our consultation, he was super excited with our choices and made me feel extremely secure with the timeline for the ceremony and reception.

On the day of the wedding, he kept everything on schedule and helped with the entire flow of my event. He was extremely professional, a pleasure to work with, and played exactly what we wanted to hear. He was phenomenal about checking in with me throughout the whole evening in regards to how things were going and the order of events. Jeremy was awesome! I cannot say enough good things about how organized and talented he was- my guests were raving about the DJ for days after the wedding, and we are so happy we hired him as our wedding DJ.

From our first interaction with Jeremy, we knew we wanted him as our DJ. My husband and I were pretty much clueless in terms of how to select songs, create a wedding timeline, etc. Jeremy walked us through the entire thing. He also sat and played each song you wanted in front of you, so he could be sure that was the right version.

What I really liked was how organized he kept us at the wedding reception, and how he would wait for the vibe of the room to be just right before we moved into the toasts, slideshow, garter toss, etc. He also can pick up on small hints if you want your first dance or mother/son dance to cut out a bit early- which we totally appreciated! Jeremy also organized all of the dance floor lights, uplighting, and the projector and screen so I didn't have to worry about doing any of that myself.

Jeremy was our DJ for our wedding on October 24, 2014.
Like so many other brides to be out there, picking out a DJ can be hard and stressful. I did my research online, checking out reviews and calling around to various companies trying to find the right pick.
I decided to have a consultation with Jeremy at Party People San Diego, mostly because his phone service was the best of all I had talked to (I work in customer service, so this is very important to me).
We met at a local Starbucks, and went over song choices, my vision of my wedding, the style, etc. Jeremy was amazing at helping chose songs that I hadn’t even picked yet, and I am so glad I went with his recommendations- I could really tell this was his passion, full time business/career, as he took so much time and effort making our music selection just perfect! The day of our wedding arrived; it was more perfect than I could have ever imagined! It is true what Jeremy (and so many others) say- The DJ is such an important part of a wedding! Hiring Jeremy and Party People was the best decision we made while planning our wedding! He was so professional and did a great job as master of ceremonies. Jeremy was our DJ for our wedding on December 6th, 2014. He did an amazing job! He played all of our music requests and got every one dancing on the dance floor, the wedding was a hit! He listened to our wants and needs and followed through with them on our special day. We are very happy with how everything turned out, we had the best night ever!

My wife and I got married on September 27th, and Jeremy was our DJ. After having met with him the first time we were really impressed with how right off the bat he was very interested in the schedule and timeline of the wedding. He was very helpful when we had “How have other people done this?” or “What songs have people played here?” type questions.

On top of his logistical prowess he was very receptive to our musical requests. My wife and I have a very musically oriented relationship and so we had a relatively specific and diverse music selection for Jeremy but he didn’t bat an eye and on the day-of the playlist was perfect. Even the couple times he played artists that weren’t specifically on our list the songs were great and followed the feel of our other songs perfectly. When we walked into our reception hall for the first time after the ceremony my personal favorite song was playing, one of my highlights of the wedding, and it wasn’t even on our must-play list, so apparently Jeremy can read minds too!

During the reception, on top of playing music and MCing, Jeremy several times snuck out from behind the decks to come find us to keep us apprised of the schedule and if any issues were coming up. When a couple minor issues did come up, he was ready with a couple suggestions on what to do. We were really happy to have him doing this for us, it really let us focus on the fun of the night.

Overall we are thrilled we chose Jeremy and Party People San Diego to DJ our wedding. We feel like we were a very lucky couple in that nothing really went wrong during our big day and that our night couldn’t really have gone any better. Jeremy was definitely a big part of that success and he even topped off the night with some pretty slick dance moves himself.

I can’t wait to recommend San Diego Party People to anyone I know who is getting married in SoCal.

PERFECT DJ!! Jeremy was our DJ and he went above and beyond our expectations in so many ways. He is very responsive via email or phone, whichever you prefer. We had 2 meetings with him one on one to review all details for the wedding and he executed everything perfectly. All the music played was exactly what we had discussed and he kept the party going all night long for us and our guests. Our wedding would not have been the amazing party it was without Jeremy from PP San Diego. We highly highly recommend him for your event.

Our wedding was a Vietnamese/American and the challenge was to try to communicate to both sides of the family. Planning and coordinating our own wedding was stressful but on the day of, Red was where he was asked to be. We had our ceremony at Bernardo Winery and reception at Pearl. Red was on point every step of the way. Red never once assumed and made sure our expectations were met and more. He mixed Vietnamese and English songs as we requested. It was perfect. When I needed assurance, I'd look his way and his smile and nod told me everything was under control and going smoothly as planned. He's not Vietnamese nor does he speak it but his attention to details showed how much he was involved and wanted to make our big day as memorable as it was. Thank you RED! We heart you!!!!

We actually found Party People San Diego on Yelp and contacted them right away because they have so many positive reviews. We reached out to owner, Jeremy Jones, and he responded within the same day of initially reaching out. Jeremy asked me several questions about our event and was excited to recommend that we work with a specific DJ that he felt would be the best fit for our event. We really appreciate Jeremy's thoughtfulness and careful consideration of pairing us with the person who would be the best fit for us and our event. My partner and I got married on August 16, 2014 at a private residence in Oceanside and our DJ was the AMAZING Nick Martinez! From the first time we met Nick to discuss our wishes for our ceremony and reception, we knew it was a great fit...we just clicked! Nick is thorough, professional, sincere, a great listener, and assured us he would take good care us. He followed through on all of our requests and put together an incredible play list for our friends and family to enjoy at our reception. We got married last week and Jeremy from Party People was our DJ. He was great!!! He was so easy to work with, listened to all our requests, and provided the professionalism and class to make our reception special. Due to Jeremy’s diligence in the planning, our reception went off without a hitch. He was incredibly attentive throughout the whole reception and made sure everything was going well. Jeremy and Party People were fantastic DJs. They were very attentive to what we wanted. He met with us several times before our event to make sure he got it right. He also helped us plan and schedule it out. On the day of, he was always on queue, very professional, and always jammin'. He was also flexible enough and a skilled enough DJ to fill in the blanks, roll with last minute changes, bring class to the ceremonial elements, and bring that extra bit of party that we hadn't even discussed prior to the reception. I would recommend to anyone.

Party People SD is a true class act!

They take the time to meet with you and go over your event and truly tailor it to what you like and what your guests want to hear. We had a lot of very specific requests including music in Spanish and in Arabic. Jeremy handled it perfectly!

The venue we held it at was the SD Downtown Library and this was a new venue for them. Jeremy took time to see the venue, try some new things and make the lighting into something that everyone really enjoyed. He even tried some new pinspot lighting that made our wedding cake and dessert table look amazing.

I would highly recommend Party People SD. The reviews don't lie - they are the real deal!

Trying to plan a destination wedding across the country was hard enough, without the added stress of finding a perfect DJ, who would accomodate a small private party of 43 people. Upon meeting Jeremy, who by the way came highly recommended by Bernardo's Winery, where the wedding was held, we knew we made the right choice.
Jeremy became like a personal friend, trying to find out alittle bit about us and what our music taste was like. Having a multi coulture wedding, Jeremy accomodated our choices of Italian music, and made sure that they were the correct versions of our choices. His professionalism in discreetly keeping in with the time frame was incredible.
I must add that the sound system was perfectly balanced. Sometimes the music is distorted outside, Jeremy made sure that was not an issue, & the music flowed beautifully.
Everyone of our guests, from our mom of 81 yrs young to our youngest guest of 10 rocked it!!!
We highly recommend Jeremy for all your PARTY music needs!!!
He truey fits the "PARTY PEOPLE" name!!!

Jeremy provided the music and MC service for our wedding in June 2014. My wife and I cant be more happy with how everything turned out. Jeremy kept the party going and everyone had a great time.

Not only was the music at the party great, I am very impressed and thankful with how helpful and attentive Jeremy was during the wedding planning process. Jeremy was recently the DJ & MC for our wedding held at the Vista Optimist Club, and we couldn’t have been happier with the services he provided on our big day. When we first met with Jeremy we knew he was the right guy to DJ our wedding. It wasn’t just about the music and lighting, it was about us, the couple, our vision and he understood that.

I would have never thought a DJ would be so involved and have the amount of awareness that Jeremy has. He provided exceptional insight into the timeline and flow of our wedding; when certain events would start/end, and if there would be enough time for each portion of the wedding. We didn’t have a wedding planner and Jeremy was a big reason why we didn’t need one. He answered all of our questions, emails, texts, and phone calls in a timely manner, and trust me, we had a lot of questions as most couples do before their wedding day.

There was rain on the day of our wedding and having the ceremony outside it was touch and go for awhile. We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to have the ceremony outside, and on very short notice as the rain stopped, Jeremy was able to have the wireless microphone and sound system up and rolling before guests arrived. Everything on that day was catered to us and to make the vision we wanted come true.

The music and organization of the wedding day was fantastic. Jeremy allowed us to provide a long list of songs we wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and even got the songs for us if he didn’t have them. Having a lot of younger guests attend our wedding, there were high expectations to party and Jeremy didn’t disappoint. Everyone was very impressed with the music selection along with his MC work around the grand entrance and announcements. Jeremy is a true professional in his craft and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

There isn't much to say about Jeremy that has not been said. He is a true professional but not the stuffy type of DJ you get when you want a true great MC. Able to work the room, able to attend to the brides needs and special music requirements. We had a very mixed reception, Mexican, British and American families... I was worried that it wouldn't be latin enough and he did an excellent job!! He really knew our venue well as well, the Coronado Community Center (7/18/14) and was able to recommend decor and additional lights and such. Jeremy was awesome and we don't praise vendors lightly!!!

Jeremy was the DJ at my wedding reception and I was extremely satisfied with his services. I would highly recommend Party People San Diego to any bride-to-be.

Jeremy takes his time to ensure that the reception is personalized to the couple. My husband and I both work rigorous full-time jobs and had to plan our wedding from afar. We didn't have too much time to plan out every detail so we only gave Jeremy general guidelines on what we liked (Top 40, old standards, with some 80s and 90s throwbacks mixed in). Jeremy took our limited suggestions and ran with them -- making a playlist that reflected us perfectly. On top of that, you can tell Jeremy is a skilled wedding DJ -- anytime he made announcements, they were personable and easy to listen to.

The best part of all: when the night was nearing its end but the party was still going, Jeremy was more than willing to continue on for an extended time at a very reasonable price.

If you are looking for a personable DJ who will take his time to make sure your wedding and reception go smoothly, then Jeremy is the way to go!

P.S. He also does amazing uplighting!

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Jeremy. He was an amazing DJ and helped us every step of the way. He not only helped us with music, mic and lighting but helped us create a day-of timeline. For our wedding on 5/17/2014 we had the pleasure of working with Jeremy Jones of Party People San Diego. My wedding venue was at the Bernardo Winery and Party People was a preferred vendor, from the moment we first contacted Jeremy he was a blast to work with. He always responded to our emails, phone calls and met with us before our wedding when we were available. I am so glad we worked with Jeremy and he was the best DJ ever, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ on our wedding day, in fact he was more than a DJ! He made everything run very smoothly, worked well with my wedding coordinator, played so many of our requests and set the mood for the night. Weddings often fly by so fast but he has great wedding advice and during the night I remember sitting down eating dinner and soaking it all in and hearing my favorite song play and just enjoying the moment. The dance floor was full the entire night and so many people complimented me about Jeremy after our wedding, I have another friend that is getting married next year that wants to use him too just based on how well he handled everything at our wedding. He coordinated the speeches well, played great dance music, even got out on the dance floor himself! My husband and I had a special dance that needed to end at a certain point in the song and Jeremy ended it right on time. He also recommended great pre-ceremony music and music to walk down the aisle too. It was our dream wedding, and Jeremy was a huge part in making it perfect. Jeremy Jones / Party People are amazing!! If you want quality service, great customer service, awesome communication, and a wide variety of music / services This is the company to go with. I didn't have a time line for my wedding he helped me put that together and made the whole reception come to life!! The music was amazing. He had such a variety for all age groups and genre's for so many different people. We had Latin, country, hip hop, rap, old school, reggae, oldies, classic rock, and even Ella Fitzgerald all blended together so nicely. My Wife and I recently used Jeremy as our DJ for our wedding reception downtown at the US Grant. He was absolute perfection throughout the entire evening! We had done our research prior to booking Jeremy and were so shocked to find that his prices were so low. We thought there must certainly be a catch to this guy. Like maybe he talks too much throughout the reception, or there were hidden fees, or he didnt play the right music at the right time. Im telling you...THIS GUY WAS AMAZING!!! His music selection couldnt have been better, he was kind and curteous to our guest, he took charge and had a command presence only when needed, and he even can dance and sing (only if the time is right im assuming) which was shockingly great as well. We also requested that he set up lighting for the venue and once all the old folk left for the night, he turned that ballroom into the hottest nightclub in San Diego that night....no joke! I cant say enough great things about this man and his buisness. I promise you, if you choose Jeremy to be your DJ, you will not be let down. Im sure Im bias when it comes to my own wedding, but out of the 50+ weddings ive been to, Jeremy's performance was leaps and bounds above the rest! Thanks again Jeremy!

I had seen Party People San Diego at a friend’s wedding, and I thought they were incredibly awesome. So I met with Jeremy Jones, owner of PPSD, to discuss my upcoming wedding. Since I was planning my own wedding, working with PPSD was great because they helped with a lot of the logistics including setting up two areas: ceremony and reception area, creating a timeline, determining genres of music, announcements of events, chairs and tables reference, etc. They were very incremental in helping with both the general planning, as well as very specific details and a timeline for the whole event.
Andy was our DJ for the wedding. He was absolutely fantastic, incredibly professional, very accommodating, and also very easy going. I went over specific songs I wanted played and specific genres of music to play, and not to play. He also told me if I thought of a song, I could text it to him anytime. I must have texted him about 50 times. This helped a lot since I would probably forget those epiphanies if I didn’t have the option to text him on the spot like that. For the actual wedding, he was there early, with 2 areas to set up, done, and ready to go. The sound was great for the ceremony. Everyone could hear the vows. For the cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, and dancing, the sound was perfect. As with any event, some of the timeline had to be changed, and Andy was very flexible and accommodating, and still made the event seamless. Andy also got a feel for what our guests liked to dance to, and kept the dance floor busy and our guests happy. You are in the best hands with Andy as your DJ.
I cannot express how much Andy and PPSD made my special day such a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend them for any event you are throwing.

We had Party People San Diego take care of both the ceremony and reception at our wedding on October 12, 2013. We could not have made a better choice! Red was our DJ, and he was absolutely amazing! He was a pleasure to work with the months leading up to the wedding and was really knowledgeable and helpful with music choices and making sure everything was all planned. On the day of the event he took care of all the sound set up for the ceremony, and played all of the ceremony songs flawlessly. He also played music during the cocktail hour, which was great! During the reception, Red and Party People took care of the MCing, the slideshow, the monogram on the dance floor, the uplighting, and of course getting the party started and keeping it going with the music! Everything was flawless and we had so many compliments about how awesome the music and DJ Red was! We can't thank Red, Adam (assistant) and Jeremy (owner) enough for making sure our day was perfect. Jeremy from party people is phenomenal! We had our wedding at the Bernardo winery and it was a blast. He was responsive, organized and super efficient. He went above and beyond his roll of DJ and partnering with our wedding coordinator he helped drive the schedule of the wedding making sure that we hit our time line milestones. He kept us informed of anything that came next in the schedule which helped things run smoothly.

I would also like to mention that working with a Bernardo winery evening wedding (starting at 4:30 and ending at 9:00pm) Jeremy worked really well on a compressed schedule. He chose great songs from the genres we gave him and skillfully mixed and matched them so that the dance floor was never empty. He even got out and showed us some of his expert dance moves.

If your looking for an awesome DJ that has mad skills and helps keep driving the schedule then I would recommend Jeremy at Party People SD to anyone for their next wedding.

Andy was our Wedding DJ at Candela's in Coronado and we could not have been happier with the service we received. The ceremony sound was clear and the reception dance floor was packed all night.

Andy was great with all the announcements and keeping the night flowing smoothly. Party People even did some amazing beautiful purple up lighting and monogram lighting that made the room glow.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, DJ Red made sure we had all of the needed songs in order, including songs we hadn't even thought of.

The day of our wedding, DJ Red was on time and ready to go. He presented the wedding party, us asthe new Mr. and Mrs., and all of the events throughout the night. When our caterer ended up being very late with serving dinner, DJ Red was right there coming up with solutions on how to keep the flow of the night going so guests wouldn't realize dinner was late. At the end of the night, and days following all anyone could talk about was how fun the wedding was, and how we really know how to throw a party - you can't throw a party without music, and DJ Red had EVERYONE, including my 86 year old Grandma on the dance floor.

My entire family, and all of our guests HIGHLY recommend Party People, specifically DJ Red.

When we met Jeremy for the first time to talk about the wedding and packages he was very professional and kind from the beginning to end. He treated us like family, he tuned into our needs and wants. He played exactly what we wanted how we wanted. He checked up on us frequently to make sure everything was going how we wanted. He performed amazing on the day of the wedding he had an outgoing fun personality, he even joined us on the dance floor. Our guests were always busy out on the dance floor. He made the wedding spectacular! We all had the best time ever. I highly recommend him and as for me and my family Jeremy will be the DJ we do our future business with. Call him for your events worth it!

We recently used Party People San Diego at our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision! Jeremy, the owner, was our DJ. He made sure everyone was having fun and kept the party going, which was our top priority when choosing a DJ. Everyone was having such a blast that we actually extended our contract time with our venue during the reception so that we could keep on dancing! Jeremy was more than accomodating and stayed with us without a problem :)

Jeremy was extremely professional, kind, hard-working, and knowledgeable. He was also very dedicated and even emailed us from his own honeymoon. He provided us with lots of suggestions and always made sure he was meeting our needs. We had quite a few gaps to fill while we were planning our ceremony/reception playlist, and Jeremy brought tons of samples for us at our final meeting. Jeremy was also very flexible. We had a few bumps during our ceremony (nothing to do with him), but he caught on and had the music cued and ready to make the transitions smoother.

Party People San Diego offers more than DJ services and at a very reasonable price. Jeremy set up at 2 locations for us, provided upighting at our venue, and had one of his employees video our entire event. Everything was what we hoped for and more, and we would recommend Party People San Diego to anyone without a doubt! Thank you again for everything, Jeremy! You rocked our wedding and we will always remember the memories that you helped to create :)

Jeremy from Party People San Diego was by far one of the best decisions we made as far as vendors go. On top of being a great DJ, Jeremy went above and beyond to make our wedding day extra special. He provided beautiful up lighting for our venue, served as DJ and emcee, and set up an awesome GOBO for us as well. He was extremely professional and easy to work with, and most importantly he genuinely cared about making us happy.

I strongly recommend Party People San Diego for anyone's wedding. Music was definitely something my husband and I really cared about for our wedding, and Jeremy certainly delivered. He kept the party going until the very end. Thanks Jeremy!

We worked with Jeremy from Party People and cannot speak highly enough of the job he did for us. He was a great DJ, great MC, and huge helper with planning and keeping everything moving!

From the moment we met him, he was asking all the right questions to get a feel for us and what we like, and throwing out his suggestions based on that vibe.

During the ceremony, he checked in with us, helped keep us on schedule, and helped us modify our schedule to keep the flow going when things got of track (which they always do!)

As a DJ - he absolutely killed it. Anytime the dance floor started to open up, he got people back on the floor within 1 song - no kidding. It was incredible. Non-stop fun! He even found a way to play a youtube clip of a friends phone for a special dedication to me. He also did the music for our ceremony and had everything just right.

We had a montage first dance that Jeremy put together for us. It was MUCH more work than any of us expected...but Jeremy put in the extra time to make sure it was just right for us. From that moment on, I knew that I could trust that no matter what, he was going to do whatever was needed to make everything right for our wedding - and he did.

As an MC, he kept everything moving along - and he had a great attitude about it! He is professional, but fun...just the right mix.

I can't speak highly enough about how great Jeremy was. Truely, you can't put a price on knowing that your vendor is looking out for your best interest at all times.

I can't recommend him highly enough!

Jeremy was the DJ we chose for our wedding from the San Diego Party People Crew. He was beyond awesome!! We met with him several months before our wedding to see if we were a good fit for each other and then we met him again a month before our wedding to finalize everything! What I am most greatful for was his attentiveness and organization. We got some push back from our vendor on start times for cocktail hour and dinner but none of that mattered cause on the day of our wedding, Jeremy husseled them all up to start earlier! The thing I loved the most about Jeremy was his positive attitude and excitement and his ability to get the crowd excited! He actually came out from behind his DJ equipment to show off some of his awesome dance moves! Our guests LOVED it! People were like, "who is that?" and I said, "THATS OUR DJ!" haha we loved it!! He was great and totally got everyone hyped and excited. He arrived on time, played everything we asked, made special announcements for us, and constantly checked in with us to see how things were going! So happy we chose Jeremy from San Diego Party People to be our DJ on such a special occasion!

With all the stress and details of wedding planning, my husband and I definitely agreed that music was at the top of our list of importance. With that, we can’t say enough great things about Jeremy and his company! My husband met with him a year out while interviewing DJ’s and he instantaneously felt comfortable with him and knew he was the guy. As it got closer to the wedding, we met with Jeremy the month of our wedding and ironed out all the details including a timeline, music requests, lighting options and the photo booth. We sat with Jeremy over 2 hours drinking coffee while chatting about what we wanted and what we didn’t want…or as Jeremy terms it “no cheese.” Lol. He was so responsive to our requests as we wanted a “club vibe” and dance the night away to dance music. He always had suggestions and helped us so much with his expertise!!! And on the day of our wedding boyyyy he didn’t disappoint!!!
The music he played was phenomenal!! Although our wedding was on the smaller side, our dance floor was packed the entire night!! He even brought in his cousin to mix some tracks for us and they both break danced and got the party started. At the end of the night when we didn’t want to stop dancing but our last song had to be played, which was a slow song, Jeremy did so….but right after he tricked us and played two more “fist pumping” songs to get people jumping and to end the night on a breath taking note!
Jeremy ran things so smoothly and was so responsive to our needs, all we had to do is shoot him a look or a smile and he knew to change the track or he was on the right TRACK, haha. His blue and purple uplighting was amazing and was set perfectly to our peacock feather theme. And everyone had a blast in the photobooth that he brought in and had an “assistant” (really its his mom and she is so cute!) man down. And he did all of this for the right price too!! He is very comparable to a lot of other DJ’s we interviewed and included MUCH more in his price.
